Nice place to stay and staff was very helpful. Will recommend
- 5/5
Very clean room and lots of extra ammen tities.
- 3/5
Sheets on the bed were dirty. Room smelled like a wet dog. Floors in the hallways and elevator were dirty. This a more of a longterm stay rather than short-stay hotel with lots of animals and construction workers. Would not stay there again.

Yes.

No one at front desk to purchase a coffee from either. However for the price there should be a coffee maker and coffee in the room

This was a very nice and quiet stay. We were there due to a death in the family and it was a peaceful stay. Nice and clean room, nice little store in the lobby. Staff was kind. Sadly we never made it to the pool, but we would consider staying here again.

It was a pretty nice night close to everything and the hot tub was a plus!

Large room They ran out of pillows
- 4.5/5
We were able to check in early. Front Desk Staff were very helpful for directions on places to go. The entire room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Nothing really bad to say about this place. Only thing I would mention is we didn't know that the food and drink products in the lobby area were free to take as a guest. We did not take advantage of that but everything else was very good.
- 4.5/5
They didn't have breakfast.

The floors were disgusting with stains everywhere and the ceiling had things splattered on it. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and the couch is old and dirty. Everything was stained.

Very clean room, staff was great. On site laundry is great and they have some kitchen appliances you can borrow if you want.

Dirty dishes in dishwasher. I cleaned then! Hair dryer did not work and there was no safe in the room as stated on website
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of choices for food nearby but very crowded with long wait times for seating.

Room was fine. The bed was clean and comfortable. The kitchen needs the disposal unit replaced. The bathroom toilet needs the flapper replaced. The toilet kept burping all night long.
- 4/5
Couldn’t ask for a more convenient location. Walk to many restaurants! Hotel was nice. Gym was good. No food included but you have a full kitchen and fridge. So as long as you know that, it’s a great place!
- 4.5/5
Loved the rooms. They were very spacious and clean! Nice that the entry into the room was tiled with a nice kitchen. Pool was nice. Wish breakfast was included for the price and hot tub was semi dangerous. The steps getting in were small and with all the chemicals in it you couldn’t see where the steps are. My son did fall trying to get in

We made a mistake on the website, for the original order, and attempted to cancel the stay, but the hotel not only refused to cancel but charged the card anyway and would not refund the stay. I won't use Expedia again because of this, and will continue to give that particular hotel the worst reviews I can.
- 5/5
Liked the location
- 5/5
One of the better stays I’ve have. I will definitely use Candelwood again. Very satisfied travelers. A far cry from the abysmal accommodations I had at Tru the following night on my first and last stay there.
- 2/5
Smelly, dirty, hair everywhere, AC doesn’t function properly, had to downgrade to another available room just for a cleaner non smelly room with no refund because prepaid with Expedia
- 2/5
For check-in, front desk staffing is usually lacking, no one there at all for at least 10 minutes in some cases. Side door of the building was hit-or-miss at my last stay. This time it was “completely broken” and had to be propped open to get back inside. Doesn’t work with room key any more.
- 4/5
Very comfortable room
- 5/5
Nice staff. Location is very convenient. A lot of surrounding restaurants and establishments
- 2/5
Stayed here many times in past few years because it was renovated and we like the separate bedroom living room. This time we were put in a handicapped room that was smaller and meant for wheelchair access which made the bathroom uncomfortable. Room should have been for someone who needed it. Worst part about this stay is the filth of room and bathroom. Bedding wasn’t changed and kitchen had food stuck everywhere in it and fridge and freezer had huge spills never cleaned. Floor had spills old food and hair everywhere and we had to scrub it ourselves. Toilet had feces all around rim. Also kitchen shelves empty of all accessories that are supposed to come with it.
- 2/5
our room was dirty, toe nail clippings on bedroom floor, our dogs kept licking the floor, so it was NOT have been clean! The grass was so high and weeds that our small dog was covered, she just sank into the grass and weeds!! Thank goodness we only were staying for one night for business. Next time = La Quinta
- 5/5
We were just in town for a softball tournament so we just needed a place to sleep. Very comfortable and clean room. The front desk clerk was a delight!
- 5/5
The room was great, staff was excellent
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, and helped our extended stay while moving very comfortable. A clean, safe, and walkable area. Our puppy 🐶 was welcome. Good choice of restaurants in walking distance.
- 4/5
The property was nice and pretty clean. When I booked the room, the photo and details showed a sofa bed, I called the property to verify a sofa bed would be in the room, and was told yes. It was to be a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. We arrived, there were two queen beds, no sofa, and obviously no sofa bed. All in all, it was a decent stay, and I would stay again. Hopefully next time I receive the correct information.
- 5/5
The room was larger than I expected it was very nice. The only thing I had a minor problem with is there was things on the floor as if it wasn’t vacuumed well and there were some stray hairs in the shower.Im not petty so I didn’t care much.I was there for a swim meet so I didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but it was very accommodating for what i needed.
- 4/5
Clean, quiet, and convenient location.
- 5/5
Really liked the property. Hotel was in a good location.. next to plenty of eateries. Room was nice and spacious. No complaints. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Parking was plentiful. I would definitely stay again!!
- 2/5
Was switched to another room. This room reeked of cigarette, body odor, and weed. Here again this TV didnt work. Front desk staff was very helpfull and obviously streesed because of housekeeping and management issues. Do not recommend any time soon!
- 2/5
Housekeeping needs to step up. 1st room smelled like a spicey restaurant that lingered in an unpleasant way. 2nd room was average with a smell that covered up the spicey stink. Front desk was LOVELY!
- 5/5
Very clean, professional loved the room overall
- 5/5
Safe was so good…
- 5/5
Easy on and off 81
- 5/5
The front desk girls this stay were absolutely wonderful from check in to assisting us with water and snacks.
- 5/5
The amenities here are great! Free laundry, a pool and a gym. The rooms are clean and spacious.
- 3/5
Surprised. Expected much better from Candlewood. Biggest issue was the fact that the room smelled musty with a heavy odor of cigarette smoke. It was so bad I asked the clerk if they allowed people to smoke in the rooms. He told me they are not suppose to but do it anyways. They would not do anything about the room but did give me a can of air freshener. Other upscale brands seem to be able to police the no smoking policy so I don't know why Candlewood can't. We had been on the road for a week and had not had that issue anywhere else. To top it off the price of the room at Candlewood was one of the most expensive all week.
- 3/5
I had paid for the 1 bedroom king suit but when I got there they gave me a standard 2 queen bed room which is cheaper but was not reimbursed any money for my room being downgraded. There was no notification my room would be changed either.
- 5/5
The uniqueness of this property is that every accommodation is actually that. An accommodation. As in free to use. So long as it’s maintained after your use. It’s fantastic. The crew is more than willing to help you with ANYTHING you might need. Plus, the pool is open for 24 hours 😱👌👍
- 5/5
We would definitely repeat and search out other locations in our travels. The beds and room size were excellent. The mini kitchen was a nice addition.
- 3/5
Room was needing help. Room 213 the bathroom floor needs to be replaced. Food was left in the microwave from last person in the room. The dishes in the dishwasher were clean mixed with dirty dishes. Carpet was dirty and a screw found on the floor in the bedroom. This will be the last stay and any Candlewood suites.
- 5/5
Woman at check in fabulous and friendly covering someone else’s shift. Room quite clean and renovated since our last stay here june 2023. Dirty pot and empty toilet paper roll otherwise comfortable. Booked one bedroom so I wouldn’t wake hubby being up earlier. Only complaint was a heavy walker all night and morning above and some loud guys at 6am yelling outside room for an hour trying to wake their buddy up! Hotel can’t control that so not their fault. Stay very comfy
- 5/5
Nice room, helpful staff.
- 1/5
Property is under renovation, the common areas are dirty, my room was damp even with the ac running all day and night. When I returned to the hotel at 9 pm, my key card didn't work and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to fix it.
- 3/5
I was not informed that this property was under renovation.. So I was surprised when we arrived… When I booked, I thought breakfast was included, but was advised it wasn’t… Booked a king bed, but was given a queen… No shower curtain in our bathroom… backsplash was unfinished and coffee pot was mismatched and didn’t function… slightly annoyed after paying $250 a night for 2 nights…
- 4/5
Property is undergoing a renovation. Room was definitely in need of work, but it was clean and the beds comfortable. The parking area and the back of the property have trailers for the renovation and are not really pleasant to look at and do take up parking spaces (although there are plenty around).
- 5/5
We stayed in a newly renovated room and it was lovely. Some issues with things that were unfinished yet, due to the renovations, but they quickly made them right.
- 4/5
Well one of the things that was very upsetting what the pool was not in serve. I was looking forward to getting in the hottub which was closed due to some kind of construction.
- 4/5
Was fine. Some remodeling taking place.
- 5/5
Check in staff was awesome
- 3/5
The front desk staff was never around or they were sitting on the sofa watching the TV in the lobby. This was very hard when we wanted something. The rooms were clean, we we're there for a while so we just didn't find it necessary to use the cleaning service everyday. The only thing I wish the hotel had was a free breakfast in the morning like most hotels.
- 5/5
Comfortable, convenient, clean.. great food within walking distance!
- 2/5
I have nothing to say about this stay. Got to hotel and my reservation was cancelled due to overbooking. No one called or emailed me about the problem
- 1/5
Upon arrival, the front desk staff was rude, the room we were given was dirty, had an unpleasant odor, and no air conditioning. Highly recommend choosing another hotel; there are many nicer ones in the same area.
- 5/5
Comfy beds, great shower, clean and quiet
- 1/5
Reserved a suite a month in advance. When I got there, the one woman on duty wasn't very personable or friendly. They gave our suite away saying that an extended stay person had taken it and tried just swapping it out for a regular room with double beds without any kind of price adjustment or compensation. We left because the woman refused to do anything to make up for the error. This is pretty sad as we've stayed there several times without an issue and normally really like staying there.
- 4/5
Comfortable room. Lots of space with full size fridge.
- 1/5
When we arrived Thursday evening, we were told that there would be no door keys for basically all of our 3 day stay and we had to wait for the front desk clerk (very nice and apologetic) to let us in our room every time we returned. And, the elevator was also not working when we arrived. We were not informed in advance, nor was a partial refund provided or offered for these significant failures in service. In the future we will avoid staying at a Candlewood Hotel.
- 5/5
Carroe at the front desk was AMAZING! She was alone and cheerful, helpful, and very pleasnt. The room was great and located spack in the middle of tons to do. We were there for a travelball tournament and will come to this hotel again. I am happy to have ppl like Carrie looking out for us. She is it!!! Great stay thank you!!!
- 5/5
Super hotel. Clean large rooms. Convenient location.
- 1/5
Looks okay, but they unilaterally cancelled my reservation, leaving me without a room for the night
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed. Kitchenette a plus. Animal friendly for $20 Professional and friendly staff Hot tub and pool
- 5/5
This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had! The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was prompt and organized. My only complaint is that it is hard to find the appropriate road to take from Walker Road.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
That all their things were open
- 2/5
20 minutes for attendant appeared intoxicated had a room with 2 beds and only one had a comforter went to desk and attendant was no where in sight definitely not going back
- 4/5
Had to repeatedly ask for pool towels
- 5/5
Very nice
- 2/5
The hotel was obviously older. The room was not very clean as the tiles were dingy, there was caked dirt in the corners and their were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we got there.
- 3/5
My stay was horrible . The people who work there are rude. This is a old ladies hotel
- 3/5
It was not a bad hotel. Nice little kittchen with stove top.The only thing that happened was that their was only one roll of toilet paper and it was only half full when we checked in and we stayed for 2 nights. We ran out of TP and had to get some more. I never have seen a hotel not have at least 2 rolls there. The person on duty told me it was because of the TP scarcity, which does not exist now.. THe tub could have been cleaned a little better.
- 5/5
When Bryan saw us, he greeted us with a smile. I requested a room on the top floor, which he gave us without a problem. He explained about the hotel, since we have never stayed here. He also told us about restaurants around the hotel, upon our request.
- 5/5
convenient location.
- 3/5
We did that and the units turned on, so I guess we were good. The wall still had a had attached backing of a thermostat, but at least we had heat. After that we noticed the couch in the suite was broken, and the curtains in the bedroom were half down and the curtains in the main room didn’t close. To say the least, being an IHG flag, this place was very disappointing.
- 4/5
It was very nice, with 1 exception. There was something in the room that made me sneeze all night. The room was fine. Nice big BR. And the full size fridge was nice as well as the stove. It was a very compfy room
- 5/5
The property was very clean and the staff was friendly.
- 5/5
It is a great location just off 81. There are two great restaurants in the little plaza beside it one sushi and the other Mexican. We went to the Mexican one and the food was great and reasonably priced.
- 1/5
My room door would not lock, The bathroom door locked and would not open from the inside. I spent twenty minutes trying to jimmy the lock with all different bathroom products, buck naked. Finally just had to kick the door to get out.
- 5/5
Laurel was particularly helpful it’s our reservation details and made sure to give us a call to be sure we had everything we needed. She was wonderful and the room was very nice.
- 4/5
Hotel is clean, basic and well located, nice features for an extended stay.
- 5/5
Very clean -comfortable beds- super friendly people at check-in!
- 2/5
We had pickled that hotel for the inside pool and were never told through reservation that it was out of work. We tried to get a discount, but the girl at the desk was kind of rude and said she didn’t know anything about pool work. For a suite, the bedrooom space was small.
- 5/5
Full size fridge was great! Great pillows! Very clean rooms! Alittle dissappointed with the pool and hot tub being closed!
- 5/5
Nice room, super comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the stay and would go back there again.
- 4/5
Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Need to update.
- 1/5
I don't care whose fault it was -- get your act together.
- 1/5
The Hotel charged my credit card for the room even though I prepaid through Hotels.com. A week later and they still have not refunded the extra charge. They told me that it was customary to put a hold on my card equal to one nights stay and that it would drop off in 3 or 4 days.....not yet. I stay in hotel rooms about 10 times per year, and I have never had this charge made before. I'm thinking something is crooked here. Does anyone read these or is this just a place to vent ones displeasure with how hotels are run?
- 5/5
pool was a little run down. everything else was wonderful
- 5/5
Property is basically brand new. Rooms are spacious and well stocked. Was surprised by the full size fridge and freezer. Very clean.
- 3/5
Staff at the front desk at check in did not know what she was doing. Nothing was working hot tub, coffee maker why should I have to pay full price.....
- 4/5
No free breakfast No outside pool Very quiet.(Great kitchenette, full fridge, sink and burners, plus micro.
- 5/5
We had a fantastic time! Staff was so friendly and courteous!
- 4/5
We had a great stay, room was clean & comfortable. We were disappointed that the pool was dirty.
- 5/5
Great location, central to shopping, comfortable bed and well appointed kitchenette. Excellent space to stay.
- 2/5
The hotel is badly in need of updating. The room we were assigned, on the first floor, was very basic, small, and in need of repairs or replacements. For example, the wooden frame on the bathroom mirror was worn and shabby looking, as was the shower wall. One bulb over the mirror was out. But the most annoying thing was the blue thermostat light. It lights up the whole room, preventing sleep!
- 5/5
Nice clean. Light over bed did not work but overall great
- 4/5
You advertised continental breakfast. We were told by the facility not correct.
- 4/5
My only complaint was the in-room coffee. I never have high standards for those little 4-cup machines, but this was worse than normal; just plain bad.
- 4/5
I love that they are dog friendly. The hallways and the initial entrance into our room smelled though.
- 5/5
Loved the full kitchen and access to local restaurants. Staff was always pleasant and helpful.
- 2/5
Expected to have an evening swim but pool was down. Would not have stayed at this hotel since the price was higher than other similar hotels.
- 1/5
Will never stay here again..given the wrong room, wrong information and lied to the whole time. Pool was not working and they said they would make arrangements to use a nearby pool and did not and ultimately said they would take off one night for all the problems and still billed the whole amount. The hotel manager never even has the cutesy to call bad after she said she would. I even called hotels.com who after a long conversation was going to have their relocation department help and I was left on hold with them and they never called back. Bad experience.
- 3/5
One night stay for funeral. Price high for no breakfast, room satisfactory.
- 4/5
Hotel was very clean and hotel staff very accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
The area is beautiful and the hotel is nestled in a shopping district - close to everything. We arrived early for check in and one of the desk clerks ran down to check to see if the room was ready anyway - and it was! It was clean & comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had no issues at all. We would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating! We'll be back!
- 5/5
This is a great place to stay. We were on a road trip and found this place met all our expectations. Loved the hot tub and pool!! But the BEST thing was the coffee. It was so good and available around the clock. Breakfast was a huge plus. (hot breakfast) clean. Friendly staff!
- 3/5
Was woken up at 5:30am by a barking dog and then could not get back to sleep due to noise from traffic (a highway is nearby). I was on the 3rd floor; maybe on the 1st floor there is less noise from the highway but the windows seem to be quite thin. Not sure whether the dog was barking outside or in a nearby room. Wish that one of the pillows had been real soft. They do not serve breakfast (since there is a kitchen in each room) but Panera Bread is nearby. There are plenty restaurants close by. All seems to be newly built.
