They double booked multiple rooms. While checking in I could hear them giving the same room to multiple people. I asked that they not say my room number out loud and the did anyway. I ended up leaving after seeing the room. I requested non smoking.

The room was clean and the temperature was comfortable. Television worked fine and it was a fine place to spend the night. It’s obviously an older facility, and it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of a fancier/more expensive hotel, but it served the purpose of being a place to rest.

Do not book this facility. The computer system was messed up and they had ended up with some rooms double or triple booked. Not a good place at all. Big sign on the desk said "absolutely no refunds" which should be a clue

We were upgraded to a suite instead of the double queen room. Lots of space in the suite. Had a pool but never got a chance to check it out due to schedules. Good ice machine for sports parents lol Booked this last minute over a holiday weekend and wasn’t looking to spend a ton of money. I didn’t have high expectations but somehow it was still worse than I expected. The room reeked of smoke even though it’s a “non smoking room.” My own blanket smelled of smoke so badly when we got home. Also, there was 1 single hand towel and no body towels or wash clothes, I had to go out of my way to ask for towels after a day. It also didn’t seem like the cleaners cleaned the rooms if you were staying consecutive nights. We checked in Fri night when I noticed no towels. We went to softball games the next morning so I assumed they would come and clean and replace towels and never did. Also we had no remotes, Friday night we got in and went to bed. Sat we had softball all day so Sunday when we got done with softball I went to the front desk to ask for a remote and she kind of gave me an attitude about it. We’re here to sleep and play softball, we just happened to get done earlier and I didn’t notice we didn’t have remotes until then. Also the fire alarm battery was dying and constantly beeping from Saturday until we left on Monday, it was never changed. They also say they’re handicap accessible but only the first floor. There’s no elevator to the second floor. The stairwell near our room was pretty gross and there was a cockroach smushed on the wall

My pregnant girlfriend and I found a syringe left in our room from the previous people. They moved our room which we got locked out of and there were no towels in it. They tried blaming us for not finding the syringe sooner as if we’re supposed to do their housekeeping.

The best way to describe it was old and musty. I would say it was clean but had a run-down look. The bed was not really uncomfortable, but it did make a lot of noise. There was no ice bucket or cups in the room. And the water in the shower did not get hot.

Horrible. Booked online, arrived around 1130 pm to check in. Hotel smelled nasty upon entering. I should have just left it this family of 6 had been driving from upstate New York all day. Upon getting to our room we started to unpack and my husband went to shower when he came back out and said there were cockroaches in there. We killed 2 in the bathroom and at that point I went to front desk to change rooms. When I came back to get the family I killed two more roaches and going out the door above the door jam there had to be at least 20 more. They put us in another room that hadn’t been cleaned. The third room stunk like straight cigarettes and we could not get to sleep from fear of more bugs. It was a non refundable room and we were on a budget or we would have just left. The little kids got rest and we literally was there 6 hours and left to drive home. Run fast from this place. Front clerk could care less about the bugs.

The room had holes in the wall. The bathroom walls and door had holes in it. The ceiling had mold on it. When you turned shower on, sounded like the pipes were going to rattle out of the wall. The room was missing a table in it. When you came out of the room smelled like weed in the hallway till you got outside. When checking out no one was at checkout desk so wife let the room cards on the desk and took picture of it. So they couldn’t say we didn’t give them back. We will never stay there again was just dirty and run down. Needs at total rebuild on that place. YUCK!!!!!!!!! We will stay else were when we are in chambersburg.

This property would not pass an inspection. There were too many issues to list, but another guest chose to sleep outside rather than in this hotel. No elevators (an issue for my 83 yr old mom), toilet seat dangerously loose, outlets missing covers, dead bugs on the window sills, a couch that we couldn’t even sit on, no towels, cups, tissues, or hair dryer in the room…need I go on? This place needs to be shut down and cleaned up before taking in more guests.

Inside the room was pretty clean, even if the room would benefit from some attention (cigarette burns or rust on outside of bathtub. Laminate flooring in room was a plus as it's easier to clean. The hallways looked dirty, not vacuumed for a long time seemingly. There was (hopefully) dog fecal matter outside in the parking lot which looked pretty fresh so could have simply been missed or not gotten to yet. Complimentary coffee would have been nice as well as a refrigerator but you get what you pay for. Towels and bedding looked clean. Overall, I'd stay here again as it was budget-friendly.

Absolutely nothing Zero security, the door to our room pushed in without a key card. All the exterior doors were left open and unlocked. Literally have no idea how this place is even open. Most rundown hotel I have seen. Zero maintenance is done. Drains barely drain. My 10 year old could’ve done a better job cleaning. I hole inspecting for bed bugs we found what appeared to be a hand gun under the mattress (turned out to be a lighter) which would’ve helped us fight off the roaches ? all over in this place. A friend was also staying here and the front desk agent warned him if someone else was already in his room to just let him know. No safety. Not in any means clean. If you stay here you may even get to bring some ? friends home with you.

Definitely a low point of our trip. The pool was a tarped over swamp. There was no breakfast although there were muffins set out and dry cereal, but no coffee, plates, cups, bowls, etc. The sofa sleeper was a foam couch that didn’t stay together and the hotel didn’t have any linens for it. After breaking down in tears, the nice man at the desk found us two pillows but there was no bedding for my kids. Luckily we had blankets from our car. Nothing was as advertised except the price and the friendly service. This hotel is only good for a quick overnight when you are dog tired, then stop at the Dunkin on your way out.

I had the absolute misfortune of staying at the Econo Lodge, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The room was filthy, with dirt and grime everywhere. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for the entirety of my stay, making showers unbearable. The place was infested with cockroaches, which made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe. The so-called sofa bed was a joke, split into two pieces that didn’t connect and constantly fell apart. This was easily the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Avoid at all costs!

My room had no shade on the window, just dark blinds. I couldn't keep the curtain open knowing anyone could walk by at any moment. Also, no hair dryer, iron, or ironimg board was available in the room or otherwise at the front desk. The bathroom was FILTHY! It looks like the baseboards hadn't been cleaned in years. Part of the new Pergo floor was missing going into the bathroom. The shower barely worked (handle didn't want to turn on or off completely). The bathroom ceiling was a mess, like there was water damage at some point and caulking was used to patch it up. All the caulking was a mess. The sink was dirty as well. No hangers in the closet to use either. The AC unit was turned off when i first got the room and the temperature had to be in the mid-70s in there. It was almoat 90 outside. And the final nail was that the remote didn't work at all!

This was BY FAR the WORST “hotel” I have ever stayed at. I travel frequently for work and this has been the worst experience. I get a room and walk in to sticky floors, yellow stained towels and pillow cases, urine on the bathroom floor, & a bug crawled on me within 5 mins of me laying down in the bed. I decide to get in shower to clean myself because I felt dirty and I proceed to notice there is NO HOT WATER! So I take the pictures, pack my things, and go to the front desk to ask for a refund or talk to a manager. When I make it down there was 3 other families, 2 checking in and one comes down to complain about the condition of the room. The Clerk “Todd” I think his name was was very rude and nasty about then entire situation. He says No refund and offers them a “suite” but then says “Don’t use the Hotub, the jets don’t work”. It’s my turn up and I proceed to explain my situation and he instantly get mad and tries to tell me to leave. He says that he is going to call the police and I called for him. He proceed to tell me I am not on the phone and I show him that I was and asked if he would like to speak with them. He YELLS & says “don’t jump over the counter and attack me” and tried to get me in trouble when he claim was false. It makes me look silly but it is very disgusting I wouldn’t let my dog stay in that place and I would post pictures but there is nowhere to post them. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I was traveling in a snow storm forced off the highway by state police trying to close the highway down. I attempted to stay at this hotel. Todd the receptionist was already annoyed with me because i booked my stay through a third party app. I finally got my key card and I walked through the halls to my room. I walked into a dirty room with dead and living roaches on the floors and walls. The bathtub was dirty. The one picture on the wall had some substance splattered on it. The bed had something crawling on it. I went to the receptionist asking for a refund. He then offered a upgrade to a suite and took me to one of two suites. The cleanliness of these suites were still dirty. Piles of hair on the floor not to mention it was on the same floor and doors away from the previous room. Knowing roaches arent just a one room thing. The receptionist(Todd) then proceeds to say that the housekeepers can't clean every spec of dirt in the rooms, which is their job. He wasnt trying to refund my stay. He called the owner at one point discussing my issues. Todd was very arrogant and he took off to my room to check to make sure my complaint was valid. I may be all over the place with this but Im appalled by his last comment after approving my refund, which was if i want cleanliness then Im gonna pay hundreds of dollars for a clean hotel room. I took pictures and would upload them but this app isnt allowing even though there is a spot to add up to 8 photos

i stayed as a respite halfway on my trip home from North Carolina as I am driving alone. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable and gave me the rest I needed to continue my travel. We checked out the room before complaining. There were stains or horrifying nature on the floor. Literally… it looked like someone was murdered in there. There were so many different types and colors of hair all over the bedding, it was obvious it doesn’t get changed. Not only that, there was a fecal matter smear across the sheets as well as a blood smear. The room reeked of curry and body odor terribly. There were dead and live bugs everywhere. We went to the desk to show them a video of our room and to request a refund. They stayed a video wasn’t necessary and they knew it was exactly how we stayed and issued the refund…

The towel rack was loose at one end and hanging straight down. Turns out it was installed upside down. I removed it and installed it correctly. Fortunately I had a screwdriver with me. The cover was off of the exhaust fan in the bathroom, which doesn't matter except the dang think rattled so bad you can't stand to run it. One baseboard is pulled loose but that is cosmetic but you might want to have someone fix it. Overall I think I will spent more money and upgrade to better motel from now on.

Honestly, not much liked. Starting off with $50.00 hold/charge when the room was already paid for. First bathroom visit, moved the shower curtains and a roach ran down the tub. After much fiddling around with the remote, find out it only changes the channel, nothing else. Sign in lobby states breakfast from 6-9. When down at 7 and saw nothing there. No i didn't ask, but wouldn't there be SOMETHING out?

I booked this property for four nights in the month of July. The check in process went well. However, we were placed on the second floor and there is NO elevator. The room we were put in was not clean. The towels and wash clothes had big blood and dirt stains. The bedding had blood and dirt stains as well. It irritated me that housekeeping thought it was okay to fold these towels and wash clothes and place them in the room when the dirt and large blood stains are clearly there and coil not be missed. The towel was folded up in such a way that these stains were not visible unless you unfolded it. I did request new towels, washcloths and bedding from the front desk and they did bring some to the room. When I showed the front desk clerk the condition of the bedding and towels/washcloths all she said was “I’m sorry”. There is no iron or blow dryer. The toilet had old urine stains around the rim. The ceiling above the toilet in the bathroom was leaking from the rain so some of our items and tissue got wet. The room smelled old and moldy. I requested another room on the lower floor and was given one. The new room smelled cleaner and looked better but the bedding and towels were not the cleanest. The hotel overall is in need of major upgrades and cleaning. I would not recommend for anyone to stay here unless you absolutely have to but even then think twice.

Room was in disrepair. The towel rack had been ripped from the wall. A strip of baseboard molding was ripped from the wall. I received no maid service for my first night of my two day stay. No plastic bag for the ice bucket - unsanitary. TV remote was taped together. The second morning of my stay, the maid came to clean my room and woke me up at 8:30 AM.Dirty bathroom floor.

It was just old and dingy. In disrepair. Broken locks on entries. There was a breezeway full of broken furniture and an old toilet. Our room was ok, but lots of hair in the bathroom, just not great. The bedding was clean.

We picked this place for the price on a cross country motorcycle trip. It was a bed and a shower. It wasn’t bad, the hotel was still renovating as we were there. They hadn’t started the breakfast yet. Our room was completed but obviously they hadn’t walked through yet. The trim was pulling away from the wall and there were spots the painters missed. But it was a safe place to layover for the night and close to some decent restaurants. Overall it was a good stay.

I made a reservation ahead of time and when I got to the front desk the girl gave me a room number and a key, then I had to step out the facilities to get to my room by the parking lot, there was no hallway. As soon as I opened my room there was someone in my room and shut the door in my face. I tried calling to the front desk to explain the situation but no answer, so I went back to the front desk, explained the situation and the girls answer was “ ohh I’m sorry the previous guest might return to the room” in which universe you return to the room when you already checked out. It was 11pm already and I was tired for a 6 hours drive so I just requested another room. She gave me another room number and a new key. Had to go once again through the parking lot, and look for the emergency exit door to get to my room. When trying to open the room in so many different ways, moving the door knob, inserting the card and moving the door knob. After 7 minutes of being trying with no luck. Tried to call the front desk once again and nobody picked up the phone. So once again I had to go to the front desk explain the situation to the girl and wait for a resolution. And the only resolution I got was “it’s the doorknob you need to move it while inserting the card(which I did numerous times). It was 1130 already and I had no room. So I requested to cancel my reservation but there was not way to contact the manager. And here I am still waiting for my refund.

There were only two pillows on each bed. I paid for a suite with a sofa to pull out bed. When I asked for sheets, blankets, and pillows, the staff provided me with hard old lumpy pillows and blankets that were covered in cigarette holes. I asked for covers in better conditions and the staff said I would need another room because all the linen was being used for the beds in other rooms. I also booked the hotel in order to wash laundry on site but when I arrived they said that the laundry room had not been working for months and that I could pay extra to use their personal washer and dryer. The facility smelled strongly of Indian food and the floors were very dirty.

When we arrived our bathroom sink was trashed and we were missing our microwave. Upon check in my card was charged twice for the "deposit'. i had paid for the room in advance. The front desk did give us another room right away but unfortunately we also ran into problems in the new room with no hot water and missing t.v. remotes. We also found a mouse in the bathroom one afternoon. They also DO NOT LOCK DOORS FROM THE OUTSIDE!!! Anyone can walk in at anytime. This is a HUGE security issue. With that being said, The beds were comfortable and when everything was addressed that we had issues with they worked fine. (Hot water & remotes). Unfortunately because of the issues as soon as we arrived, when we return for another vacation we will not be returning to this hotel. We have stayed in many other hotels over the years and never had the amount of issues we had with this place which is very disappointing. This could be a very nice hotel if the owners/staff cared enough.

I was charged the $50 deposit twice because the person checking us in couldn’t get the system to work and told me my card was declined. I had to pull up my banking app and show him the charge did in fact go through. The room was disgusting, dirty floor, chipping paint on the walls, the pull out sofa bed was broken, the bathroom walls had what looked like years of gunk on them and the vanity was broken. The hallway of this building smelled like trash. The bed was uncomfortable and had some type of metal base so every time one of us moved it sounded like someone was rolling a metal barrel. You can hear the noise from the interstate. Supposedly a continental breakfast was included however, we walked over to the lobby at 6:30 am and there was no food. This hotel was not worth the money and I’m confused by the previous good reviews on cleanliness because this place is a dump.

I feel bad for the owner. I can’t imagine it’s easy to run a hotel BUT that being said I will never go to this hotel again. There was a car key on the floor of our room, a white undershirt hanging over the wall mounted smoke detector, and in the middle of the night there was a cockroach in the bathroom. If there had been any other hotel available that night we would have left but as a family of 6 our options were limited.

The hotel is being remodeled so I'm sure with time it will be better. However our experience here was not the best. Room had a weird smell when we walked in, furniture was placed oddly and very beat up. While looking under furniture for signs of bed bugs or roaches we found a bug sticky strip they were using to catch bugs in the room. There was several bugs stuck to it and one was possibly a roach. Bed was clean and the rest of the room was semi clean but obviously needs an update and some TLC.

The property was in renovations that probably should’ve been done 25 years ago. The carpets were stained and torn in places so where the couches. There was dog hair on the bedsheets and cockroaches in the ice bucket. And we arrived and the lobby looked great but when we got to our room we were disgusted by the condition but too tired after traveling to find another hotel. I wish I would have looked for another hotel because it turns out my daughter is allergic to cockroaches.

This property is filthy and is in horrible disrepair. Had it not been so late when we arrived after a long drive and any other near hotel had an available room, we would have gone elsewhere. The manager was kind and tried to be helpful but the property is grossly misrepresented in its advertising.
