Spent a few hours here to get some rest halfway on a longer trip. Check in was fast and efficient. I filled out a card with my info, which I found odd, as usually it's entered into a computer from my driver's license. Web page claims 24/7 front desk, but I checked out in the early morning and there wasn't anyone available. Room was comfortable, but the walls are thin. TV in the next room made getting to sleep harder.

But the hair dryer was broke. No coffee machine. Paper covering holes in room. Outside was gross. Mattresses laying in pile. Toilet near back steps laying . Ice machine not working . Traffic very loud outside on main road. Very little to choose on cable. Key quit working twice. Ask for extra towels and was questioned about it. Not happy.

There was a flood light lightbulb in my lamp. A hole in the door was covered over by a taped piece of paper. The place was very sketchy.

There was trash in the stairwell and it smelled bad. The air conditioner in the room didn’t cut back on when the temperature warmed to the setting on the thermostat; I had to manually adjust. Instead of a regular light bulb in the bedside lamp, there was an outdoor floodlight bulb. The pillows weren’t really pillows. They were actually tapestried couch cushions in pillow cases and were very hard. Visible damage to walls and bathroom door. Traffic noise so loud I checked to make sure the window was closed; it was. I won’t go back.

after pulling into the parking lot and seeing how sketchy the place was, we should have left then. After being there for a while and exploring the room we found it to be quite gross. We found an open box of condoms in the dresser drawer, a nasty rubber glove on the shelf in the closet, filthy hair dryer, cobb webs and stains in the corners of the bathroom. The clincher was when we pulled the sheets and blankets down to find short curly hairs and dirt and on the bed sheets. We grabbed our stuff and left. The clerk was not in the office, but in his room at the hotel which it appeared he lived in. Now I know why its a non refundable motel!

Clean and comfortable but certainly nothing to get excited about

Toilet didn’t work right (flush handle loose) and the hot water stopped working when filling the tub. It’s as simple as they come, but it is clean. The walls are very thin and you can hear EVERYTHING 😆 Staff is super friendly.

Outside stairs dirty.Shower leaked out on floor . Needs upgraded.Had trouble understanding staff doesn’t speak English well .

The management of this motel charged me twice for the same stay! I prepaid here via Orbitz and showed this to the desk clerk, who insisted on imprinting my card anyway. All right, that is common. But then the motel processed another charge for the same room! Even after showing the corporate office both receipts, they refused to acknowledge their error and refund. They also refused to acknowledge when Orbitz showed them I had paid. Paying twice for one night is unacceptable. Never again! Do not trust them!

Staff was very friendly and courteous. Rooms could use some new carpets and updating.

The staff was incredibly polite. The hotel was located right off of 77 and conveniently located near a number of restaurants. We will definitely stay again.

The Towels were terribly thin and rough, furniture was a bit dated. For the price and location near I-81 it was good overall

I accidentally booked thinking it included breakfast. A no frills place for sure, but the price was good. The ice maker was not working, but the guy on staff did fill up a large zip lock bag that I had with ice for our use. The room was outdated, but was clean. No coffee on site either.

Pleasant stay. Very convenient. Room had both refrigerator and microwave.

The room was not very presentable. Old dusty wrinkled linen. I did not stay there. Mgr refused to refund.

Room needs renovation. Air dryer is not effective. Heater works too loud and smells when hearing..

The management stated that I couldn’t have a late checkout, unless I paid for it. He wouldn’t even allow 30 minutes, when I arrived at 2 am in the morning. Never experienced such a hotel policy before. Found hair through the room, and the room smelled like cigarettes, ultimately.

Old style mom and pop motel. Clean room, comfortable bed. Wifi reliable. Good budget overnight stay.

Hotel is in desperate need of cosmetic upgrades. Room smelled musty old unclean. Mattress worn out saggy. Tiny pillows and towels. Carpet dirty. A/C unit old stinky. No battery in smoke detector. Ice machine moldy.

Wouldn’t even check in it looked so seedy. Receptionist office was behind glass with a pass through.. afraid to stay in a place like that! Got ripped off! No refund either!! Angry

Listen, the red carpet inn is by far the best place to stay in the area, the staff are wonderful, the room was very clean, comfortable and spacious... hot water for a nice shower and cold air conditioning for relaxing, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, priced very reasonably... I definitely would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Stayed overnight. Nice big bathroom, plenty of pillows. Everything was good.

This place is a ratty mess. Everything from the 40-year old bedspreads to the dirty doors and assortment of dirty chairs and trash sitting outside many of the rooms for smokers. What a shame because it would have much potential as a pet-friendly Motor Inn.

The motel was clean and comfortable. It was good value, the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a particularly good restaurant across the road.

The building is pretty simple. Not even a lobby. Not very nice looking at all but it’s clean, and that’s great.

Everything was good EXCEPT no breakfast, as promised, not even a cup of coffee. The lady just shrugged her shoulders, not even an apology.

Great price for simple accommodations. Quite other than traffic. Only 1 of the channels on the tv worked. No coffee maker in the room. Not sure where the continental breakfast would even have been located. But there is a Sheetz just across the street!

This property had a weird smell that affected allergies and staff made accusations against me and it was just a terrible experience!!!

First the lady that checked us in was the rudest lady she changed us an extra $15 for a ch

The only negatives I can comment on was the small parking area...I usually have a 1 ton truck pulling a 30ft flatbed trailer. The other comment I would have is the furniture is a little dated like most hotels, which is really of no consequence.

Budget hotel but very clean and everything was in good repair. I'll stay there again. No extras like coffee or breakfast. Smallish parking lot for my Pickup and trailer.

Myself and my cousin stayed in one of the rooms that had two queen sized beds for two nights; a Friday and Saturday night. We got the room so we could attend a Big concert in nearby Shippensburg, PA. I personally found the accommodations very much to my liking. The room was surprisingly roomy, the bed was pretty comfortable, the bathroom was good size, and most importantly the air conditioning was rocking! Also the TV there didn't hurt any either. I very much enjoyed my stay there. The hotel is also near a Bob Evans, which was very convenient for Breakfast. If I had a disappointment it was the fact that the hotel did not have any breakfast for guests, but I did see some coffee, I just never had any.

The entrance way, because there is no lobby....reeked of spice, a bit of a turn off. Updates aside, the room was clean, there was soap and shampoo and plenty of pillows. Great, I mean great WiFi. An adequate amount of TV channels. If you are laying over I would recommend this place for sure. Except...the breakfast is.....well, what breakfast? 2 choices of cold cereal and a mini muffin. Priced right and clean. Get rid of the smell!

Cheap and clean for basic overnight along this route! Close to the highway. No frills motel. Plenty of room to move around in the room. Window faces the main road but surprisingly quiet. Thin walls, could hear the neighbors talking at regular volume. Large convenience gas station across the street. No frills- soap bars are all you get. Clean bathroom and tub. No frills cheap rough but clean towels. Beds on the softer side but not too bad. Strange square pillows. Fridge in room, clean. Small round table, no desk in my room. Luggage stand, hangers, blow dryer. Fast check-in but i must have woken him up. 24 hour check-in but you have to ring the bell and wait. No breakfast here.

Very happy with the hotel! We didn't make it until 11p to check in and had no issues! The gentleman at the desk was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Check out was a cinch as well!

I have stayed in a lot is discount hotels and this one is above avaerage. It was clean, had a lot of amenities, and the bed was super comfortable. Had some issues with staff/reservation which had to be resolved by orbitz but other then that all good,

I could not have asked for a better experience at this location, the staff are just wonderful all around good people, they make checking in a warm friendly easy experience... the room was amazing, very clean and comfortable... you can’t beat the quality for the price, in fact I’m surprised about how reasonable the price is... highly recommend this place to anyone...

Bed and pillows great - room was clean with fridge and microwave - no coffee pot in room - very small breakfast and not set up when we were leaving at 6:20.

Room could be cleaner. Very basic and old. The breakfast was basically bananas, apples, and coffee. The room just has clean bed sheets and pillows. Other than that it's not the best.

The heat was off so room was colder then out side temp 34. The shower wall floor was dirty. Ice machine was broken.

It's time for the linen (towels, washcloths, sheets, etc) to be replaced or at the very least bleached, but the bed was comfortable and the room was tidy and clean. The office attendant called every morning to ask if I needed anything. That was really nice and made my stay feel homey. The other guests were really quiet so things seemed peaceful. Every place I needed to go to: the mall, movies, Wal-Mart, shopping, get food, leisure outings were all within a 10 minute drive.

Great room for the price, this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in this area... I would recommend this place to anyone no questions asked

The room was about 30 feet away from a major intersection and very noisy. Heater”s fan made huge noise all night and was difficult to fall in sleep. Sheets were not clean and shampoo supply was in a tiny packet. No breakfast area available and guests need to get the food and go back to room to eat. The motel boasts to have a 3.5 rating from Hotels.com. It is very difficult to imagine how do they got that kind of rating! Definitely avoid next time!!

O K for a one night stay when you want easy access off the highway and a decent bed for the night.

My visit to the Red Carpet Inn was amazing!!! The staff are always very courteous and friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable.... Room carpeting should have been changed ten years ago. Shower and bathroom in general were clean and kept up well, although very basic and dated. Not a pleasant atmosphere at all in the room.

WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS OR PROBABLY NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER RED CARPET IN. Called ahead inform staff that my son would be checking in before me - staff indicated was OK. When my son who is a wrestling coach showed up with 2 of his wrestlers staff was confrontational and demanded $20 more dollars and accuse my son of a party.

Great location right off I81. Staff friendly. Stayed on our way to PIAA Track States.

The price was right. Just looking for an inexpensive nights stay. No tissues, no coffee maker.

Nothing - I felt threatened by the manager. Manager told me to cancel room, but Priceline wouldn't let me once it was paid for.
