    There was a water leak across the hallway and the overnight repairs kept us awake all night. The following morning our room didn’t have any water pressure. There was no manager on scene and despite two messages, we were never contacted by anyone. Mistakes can definitely happen but the lack of communication was terrible.

    I have issued a complaint and request for full reimbursement of the room rate. This is in my email chain, I assume. The room was clearly not ready for occupation after renovation. It is very difficult to deal with a situation like this after spending 10 hours on the road. A good night's sleep was necessary, not multiple trips to the front desk for help.

    It was non existent at this site. We had to go to a sister hotel to get breakfast. We needed to be on the road early, but had to wait as breakfast was not served until 7 am.     The hotel was under construction. Nothing was mentioned on the ratings or reviews. When we pulled up there a large dumpster with a pile of mattresses near the entrance. There was plastic wrapped around the entrance with boxes outside. The lobby had a fireplace that was partially removed. The breakfast area was under construction. The baseboards were all off. The elevator was wrapped in cardboard. The halls also had baseboard off for painting. I have never experienced anything like this. I am very disappointed in Fairfield Inn and have stayed there numerous times. My wife and I travel a fair amount, and she is a member of Marriot perks program.

    Friendly front desk staff, clean room and comfortable bed. The free breakfast was a step up from other hotels. The waffles were phenomenal! They had some type of sweet crunchy stuff on the outside. The only thing that could have made breakfast better was flavored coffee creamer. Would definitely stay here again!

    I wouldn't recommend due to the mold/mildew smell that managment is trying to hide with cleaning products. It was not clean, customer service was nonexistent. Many other hotels in the area to choose from. This reminded me of a poorly kept low budget motel.

    Nice hotel on the outskirts of a bigger city which made me feel like I was in a safe area. Multiple dining & shopping places in the direct area. Check in was quick and easy. Decent pool and the bed was extremely comfortable which is a win for me. Bathroom could’ve been a little cleaner as there was hair in the shower but other than that it was a nice convenient hotel extremely well priced compared to others in the area. Would stay again.

    Breakfast was only ok - kids were bummed not to have a waffle maker. The waffles were premade with lots of sugar on them. Needed to ask for more hot water for tea. Couldn’t exit out of the locked side hotel door, which seemed like a safety hazard.

    went down for breakfast,heard the woman that was cooking breakfast in the kitchen . she was coughing and hacking up a lung SO Bad we thought she was dying. We left and went out to eat somewhere else .that night kids running up and down the hallways around 11 pm ,called the front desk but to no avail.the guy at the front desk was in his PJ,s and reeked of weed .

    This hotel was just alright. It was clean and had cold AC, but that was about it. The room smelled like it had previously been a smoking room. The wallpaper in the bathroom was a dingy yellow and was starting to peel. The carpet was fraying and pulling up around the door. The breakfast was honestly not good. The only decent part was the prepackaged cereal and milk. I definitely see why it was cheaper than other hotels in the area. But again, it was clean, cold, and had a bed which is really all I needed it for.

    Excellent service, especially, the lady at front desk on our checkin day on 5/July/2025 evening. We liked cookie and popcorn offered at front desk as we checked in with excellent service. Very helpful front desk on that day. At least two bathrooms (one for men and another for women) at the first floor where fitness center is located would have been better. Better options for vegan/vegetarian guests at breakfast buffet would have earned highest rating.

    Upon arrival we discovered that the room was not cleaned properly; clothing from a previous guest was on the floor and trash was left in the canister. We assumed it was an oversight; nevertheless, the desk attendant kindly apologized for the condition. The dresser was broken, forcing us to prop a trash can against the drawer to keep it closed. We did not eat the included breakfast, for the selection was poor and the presentation unappealing. The serving dishes would not close properly; hence the food was exposed and dry. The buffet and dining tables were littered; crumbs and spills were not cleaned from previous diners.

    Nice place to stay. Quiet, convenient to interstate, comfy beds, decent breakfast options. The corners of the bathroom looked a little dirty, but otherwise clean. It was just prior to college graduation weekend and the lobby was decorated in Illinois colors which was a nice touch! We’d stay there again if ever in the area.

    Great location. Great staff. Booking did not relay that I had a pet with me, but the staff meeting that on site and gave me a first floor room right next to the exit door that had the best dog relief area. I really appreciate it that they have a tub as I had a marathon I needed to soak. The counter is really big in the bathroom. Decent television. Easy location to campus, but you also have the mall right there. I didn’t have a chance to have the breakfast. I like that they had two large real dressers. If you had a longer stay, then they would be really helpful. It’s a really good size room. Chair for lounging, good desk. Easy. Nothing

    Breakfast very mediocre. Eggs with peppers and some thin boiled bacon like stuff were warm items. Had sign by door for complimentary snacks. Only thing there was salt for empty popcorn stand and an empty cake stand . Room was quiet other than noisy fridge. Microwave on top of fridge may cause fridge to keep running to cool off? Staff were helpful.

    The rooms are decent, a little dated but not bad. The East door wont open with the key card. The worst part about the whole thing would be the lady prepping the breakfast food. The food was good but her attitude sucked. She wasnt crabby but you could tell she didn't like her job. You try to talk to her and she said nothing. You tell her good morning and nothing very rude. I was 1 of many that noticed it.Most items weren't stocked, someone asked her for cereal and she said she's in the middle of stocking, no coffee cups, no plastic ware. If you asked for something it was reciprocated as I was in the wrong. She did grab the plastic ware and stock it but she gave off the vibe that I inconvenient her. Great idea with the cookies and Popcorn did love that. I would stay again but hopefully you can figure out a behind the public eye for the lady prepping the food.     The hotel was very dated and is need of some updates. We were there with a soccer team and upon checkin we were made to sign an onside of conduct. I thought it was strange to be stereotyped and not treated as any other customer. The hotel personnel came by the lobby where I was sitting with 4 other fathers and were told that the lobby closed at 10 pm and that we needed to go up to our rooms. The pool was closed for maintenance for most of the time that we were staying there. I will not being going back to that hotel the next time we are in town for soccer.

No one seem to care about my stay there, saying I can take my business elsewhere, while knowing that all the hotels in the area were booked for the weekend due to an event at the State Farm Center

    Overall, the room was satisfactory. We settled in and it wasn't until later when I was showering that noticed Mold on the wall and ceiling of the bathroom near the tub. At no point should that even be a thing. It was already too late, and we were only staying one night. It was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable as I have stayed at a Fairfield in the past with no issues. The fact that Mold was present did not make me feel very safe given I also have a compromised immune system. Unfortunately, we will not return to this property.

    I am still uncertain that I will not be double charged for this stay. The front desk insisted they did not receive the payment from Hotels.com although I had a receipt that I had paid. This was due to a wrong expiration date of my credit card from the info the hotel received from Hotels.com. I spoke with a virtual agent and he told me the problem will be resolved. I got an email this am from the front desk that makes me not so sure.

    Got there late 10:30 11:00 got in our room room was at 60° 65 it was set at freezing found out the carpet had just been washed but it hadn't been dried The room was damp The sheets in bed were damp almost feeling wet had to change rooms at around midnight staff did help us find a different room but not real impressed with the dude that was on that night people hanging out on the third floor in the hallways overall the place was clean something didn't like us in the food in the morning not sure if it was the food or if it was just our systems I didn't have to continue to drive all night to make it home had I known I probably would have gave it a shot

    We were disappointed with the pool. We always book a hotel with a pool and it only had ladders not stairs down into it. They had a handicap lift but was not worth it for us since neither of us are handicapped but can’t really use the ladder either.

    This is was a pleasant place to stay all around. Popcorn and other snacks in the lobby. However, the desk attendants spent more time looking at their cell phone and sitting against the back wall than greeting customers....they could have made the experience amazing, but their lack of interest in greeting folks coming and going was highly disappointing and leaving one curious about security.

    The room was not habitable due to water from a roof leak. There were no rooms available with dry carpet. The staff did not know the condition of the rooms before they sent us up to the room. They offered another room but it was wet also. After check-in, the staff informed us that the roof repair would be continuous from 9am to 9pm. The staff were not prepared and did not even know what to do to help us find another room at another hotel.
