Also, the photos never showed the lack of a closet in the room. Finally, would it kill the hotel to provide towels that don’t feel like sandpaper?

Location This is a budget hotel. Noise can be heard from the next door since walls are thin, there is no designated spot for smoking and anybody can just smoke in front of their room so if you are not smoking and tenants next door are smoking outside the room then you will unfortunately inhale the same smoke. Also noticed that tenants/people just hang around in front of their rooms outside like they are having a party.
- 3/5
The floors in the bathroom were dirty with significant dirt buildup in the corners. There were bugs that appeared to be mealworms in the primary room. The other issue had to do with other guests being loud until close to 1130 at night hotel staff did speak to them. The parking situation was confusing as there were multiple signs warning against towing if you parked in the spots yet, I was told to do so by the hotel staff, I would not choose to stay in this facility again.

At first glance, this hotel was a regular, NOT fancy drive-up place, but we were pleasantly surprised at the room itself. Inside, it was well-appointed with exactly what we needed for our one-night stay. We did not eat breakfast there, as we had to hit the road early. The beds were very comfortable!

It’s an older hotel but was updated pretty well. The typical outside door type. Got the job done and was decently updated and clean. Breakfast was very continental with a waffle maker.

Location was close to Hospital bed was comfortable. Disappointed the hotel is aged and cleanliness was minimal. Room had strong smell of bleach when we first entered had to request room freshener immediately which was brought to us in a timely manner. Bedding had cigarette burns, phone was filthy requested it be cleaned while we were there.

Nothing. We were checking in late in the early morning after a long and stressful day. I called ahead to confirm this and the front desk told me it was fine and they’d see me when I arrived. Upon arrival the very unhelpful and unsympathetic front desk staff told me he had sold my room as he assumed we weren’t coming (I’d checked in online as per their process). This left us stranded at 3am. Less than ideal. No communication prior to our arrival to notify us. I understand the front desk were working a late night shift however I would assume some level of customer service skills would be required to do the job, perhaps my assumptions are wrong, much like theirs.
- 2.5/5
Reception staff were nice. Room was pretty large. Look, it's basically a motel on a bypass. So if you aren't planning on driving to this place, don't stay there, because it's in the middle of nowhere. While there are shops and restaurants nearby, getting there on foot is not convenient or pleasant. Room cleanliness also a minor concern, unsure if the housekeeping team is sweeping/hoovering or only making the bed and replacing towels.
- 4/5
It was. Good and a good price and location
- 3/5
The room I reserved was not available I got a room on the second floor and had a hard time getting up and down the stairs and was told there were no first floor rooms available. No elevator on the property.

Both of our sheets were dirty with crumbs upon arrival. The faucet in the shower was leaking the entire time and just continually dripped. Staff was ok. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they weren’t in until the next day and I was leaving that day. That is unacceptable, given I couldn’t even leave a message for them.

convenienti location, affordable price. Breakfast was disappointing, I would have preferred to have at least a hard boiled egg to go with my toast, but ok. What I really did not like was the coffee, it tasted burned and bitter; I had to put a little creamer just to make it palatable.

- 4/5
Bath tub faucet leaked. No aminaties in room, good thing I had brought my own soap and other.
- 4/5
Bed sheet were clean, but bed was not made properly. Sheet was pulled all the way up. No par of the sheet was tucked in to the bottom.
- 2.5/5
Cheap, and close to where we needed to be. Its really a Motel, not hotel. If you dont mind staying on the bottom (street level)floor facing the parking lot, then you get what you pay for. It is mostly truckers and landscapers staying in the rooms, with walls that are paper thin you can hear every converation and smell all the pot being smoked around you.

- 4/5
Property was clean workers both front desk and housekeeping helpful. Bed was good and sturdy.
- 1/5
Don’t even think about booking here. This was the experience. There was a pit bull barking next door, people smoking outside the door, horrible furniture. Everything about it was below standards. Was just one night and we couldn’t get out quick enough.
- 2/5
Room had a terrible smell like someone dumped an entire bottle of lavender febreeze in there. Got a headache from it in the middle of the night.
- 5/5
Parking was good
- 3/5
Breakfast was minimal, but nice.
- 2/5
Hotel was not what i expected. Construction workers, many of them staying there. Very loud outside, drinking beer and hanging outside the rooms. Eventually, they quieted down around 930pm. Parking lot very full with big trucks, parked far away from my room and walked with luggage up narrow stairwell. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1. I was afraid of Friday night party given my experience with Thursday night. Breakfast was carb only, no variety and im diabetic. Not diabetic friendly. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I will say staff was very kind and curious, only thing I'll recommend.
- 4/5
Parking was tricky but was able to get to the room. Room was ok to rest.
- 3/5
Overall nice and clean room. 1. No clock 2 No coffee maker 3. No place to store clothes 4. No place to hang towels near the wash basin 5. No exhaust in bathroom

Dirty sheets with what appears to be blood stains on the end of the bed- Towles, shower, floor and bed spread all has hair on them. The refrigerator runs non stop. The bed sheets weren't even in the correct orientation and were not tucked in. The sheets were damp and stuck to my legs. This is a bottomed dollar hotel so I don't expect much but there is no reason for the room to not be clean.

Almost everything went well until the last night. A group of younger people had. A birthday party in a room down the hall from the room. Losts of noisy after 1A. Pd call after 230A. And again at 5A, one of the group knocked on door. Being woke up several times that morning.
- 4/5
Stayed there many times and generally leave early morning and return after dark. My room is always so inviting when I return that it gives me such a sense of peace Not the property's fault, but they had workers there who were having outdoor card/drinking party and were a bit loud as well as my neighbors were very loud so I was unable to go to sleep until around 2 to 3 am. They would be asked to quiet down and would for about 5 min. And then start up again. No repercussions whatsoever
- 3/5
I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the smoking king-size room that I got not only did it smell like bleach and clean when I walked in the room, but it was above what I had expected for the days in I’m sad to say. I will definitely be booking with them again in the future. I was thoroughly impressed whoever is in their cleaning. Staff deserves a raise because they’re doing an amazing job!
- 3/5
Served the purpose for what we needed. Price was good. Needs some updates, though, like replacing linens with holes in them.

I've never had a bad experience at this location, I recommend it to everyone I know
- 2/5
The room was good but there was alot of noise at night and one morning at 3am nocked on my door looking for the party. The gym was closed all three days I was. I will never stay there again!
- 4.5/5
Everything was good
- 4.5/5
Tv didn't work at first or well the remote didn't but then the staff was very helpful with fixing it
- 5/5
Bathroom was smal. Parking not ideal. Our room was on right side of building but all parking spots on the right side were designated for the hotel next to us so we had to park in front of the hotel or on the left side.
- 5/5
Room was clean and let us do an early check in
- 2/5
Room seemed refurbished recently but done so cheaply. Tiny room with even smaller bathroom. We're overweght but the bath/shower was so small, we had to shower standing side way.
- 1/5
Very unclean
- 4/5
Clean and, deep bathtub. good for soaking! Soft comfortable beds! Great location for shopping and dining! Reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Great room with a smoking ammenity. Ground floor room as requested. I wasn't disturbed once by staff at the inn. That said there appeared to be a lot of foot traffic...it was a bit disconcerting when someone knocked on my door at midnight and then ran away. Overall i would stay here again. The price is reasonable and it's comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Everyone was really polite. The continental breakfast was good. The check in process was easy. It was clean and well maintained for the most part. The only thing i would say is after the winter storm we had the parking lot became hazard. It was difficult at points to enter and leave.
- 2/5
First, the rooms are not well insulated from sound, so you hear everything happening right outside of your room and many things happening in the rooms next to you.
- 2/5
Room was fine but had to move to another room due to excessive noise last two times I stayed there.
- 5/5
Was a good 👍 stay.
- 4/5
Room wasn't as clean as it should have been, the bed was comfortable. No coffee pot in the room. The say wasn't bad.
- 5/5
Parking was fine Plenty of retail and restaurants in the area
- 5/5
Check in was FANTASTIC!
- 3/5
The breakfast was limited to waffles and dry cereal. Parking was limited. The motel had no elevator and the only stairwell was outside on the other side of the building. Access to the hotel was limited. The cleaning was poor with mold on the bathroom tile grout. The cleaning crew did not clean the bathroom the entire 10 days I was there. I found jewelry on the bedside table from previous guests so they don't dust or clean the surfaces.
- 5/5
Was a clean and they let us do and early check in thank u

Plenty of parking and seemed quite safe. Breakfast was not fancy but was clean, fresh and well taken care of. Just right for my taste.
- 5/5
Clean and very friendly
- 3/5
Outdated and room could have been alot cleaner. Beds were not very comfortable. Cheap stay for our trip but probably wouldn’t choose again
- 2/5
Room itself was okay but there was constant noise, marijuana smells, the condition of the outside of the hotel was awful
- 5/5
motel clerk was very accomodating, Asad. wife injured her foot and had difficulty walking so he gave us a first floor handicap room. huge bathroom with back lit mirror. liked the shampoo/conditioner. Two big mirrors, one in room and bathroom, aside from bathroom sink mirror. Nice to have microwave and refrig. Heated food we brought with us was very convenient after long day of driving. Bed comfortable. Felt safe in area. Breakfast was basic. No eggs but hot waffles. The only things, I can say i didnt like were the pillows, too hard and no coffee maker. Great stay
- 2/5
Bare bones-bathroom faucet unattached-asked for extra pillows and blankets, did not get any-no available water bottles-freezer so frosted, could not use-pillows and towels really thin-wall at bottom of bathtub looked like painted-over mold-walls paper think and room below us had LOUD talking beginning at 5 am
- 5/5
Clean, Convenient, Great Value.
- 5/5
Helpful staff. Clean facility. Amazing free breakfast.
- 4/5
Only problem with the room was it was located next to an equipment room that generated noises that made sleep difficult. Relocated to a quieter room.
- 4/5
Clean
- 3/5
Room smelled like the person before us smoked and was covered up by disinfectant spray. coffee was not good.
- 2/5
This inn was not for us.
- 1/5
Room was not clean and very outdated. Pictures on website are not at all what the room looked like. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel.
- 4/5
The shower situation was a little concerning from an investment standpoint. But who am I to question the drop down tile that touches my head while I shower? Just seems like a mold situation waiting to take over. Woke up to a short lived argument next door - modest noise. Bedroom clean, comfortable for the price
- 5/5
Clean room, easy check
- 1/5
Front staff was very pleasant, and the check-in process was simple. But the room was absolutely disgusting. Multiple dark stains on the bedspread and sheets. The glade plug-ins were overbearing. We stayed 5 minutes and then canceled our room. At least we got our money back. Unfortunately we do not recommend. We saw the Wyndham name, but definitely not what we expected.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
The room was clean. It was a little noisy because the door opens to outside. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room.
- 1/5
I’ve been a customer here for the last year coming to UVA taking my sister in law to liver specialist, the first time we stayed I guess we didn’t look at room we slept that night checked out next morning , 6 months later I book here again to get a room that was nasty and not cleaned , it is documented the gentlemen that works here recalls it , I let him jus move us to another room last time cuz we thought we really liked it here but not nasty , now my third time and again it’s nasty and unsanitary, I will be speaking with manager today before check out I deserve my refund .
- 3/5
Rooms too small. Location is good.
- 5/5
Great value for the room and the breakfast! The only thing was the milk was sour for the cereal.
- 4/5
This was a good location. Wasn’t too noisy. Room was clean and desk staff was pleasant.
- 4/5
Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. But parking lot was small
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean room but over priced for overall condition of facility and location.
- 4/5
The neighbors next door talked loud and coughed on the porch. The sound insulation of the room door doesn't work well.
- 5/5
The next door (207) was noisy and talked loudly in front of the door.
- 3/5
This was a shocking price for a really rundown motel. The plexiglass barrier at the front desk said it all. Outdated didn't begin to describe the room, though the bed was comfortable enough.
- 4/5
Firm beds, quiet, friendly staff. But only muffins and bagels for breakfast.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms with what we needed. One drawback was limited breakfast and the coffee was bad.
- 5/5
The parking lot was very safe and the breakfast was delicious 😋
- 3/5
You have to walk way around the motel to get to the stairs. Our sheets were terrible I guess when they pressed them they got wrinkles pressed into them, they were terrible to sleep on.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and easy to get to. Nothing fancy but was clean!
- 2/5
Kids we running and making noise all night
- 3/5
Bathrooms are tight and need to be updated.
- 5/5
Very clean room excellent staff
- 2/5
My traveling companion is allergic to smoke and the rooms are infused with past smoking allowance so we could not stay there... The room rate is great but that's because of the age of the facility and the smoking history... The office staff however was great and gave us a refund even though or cancellation time had elapsed so that was appreciated... Do not go there if you are at all bothered by the smell of smoke in the rooms.
- 5/5
The facilities themselves and furnishings are dated, but everything seems well cleaned.
- 5/5
Awesome !!
- 4/5
Great staff and convenience!
- 4/5
The room was clean and spacious for my husband and I. Staff was polite. Online, it said that this hotel included breakfast but it did not. That part was disappointing since it was part of the reason I booked here. There was an entire room set up with tables and chairs and a breakfast bar, just no breakfast.

- 5/5
The hotel was clean and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you!
- 2/5
Our room was non smoking but had distinct cigarette smell. Access from our parking spot in front of our room required us a considerable walk up hill in the parking lot and then along a sidewalk to get to our room, dragging our suitcase.
- 5/5
Good lodging option for medical appointments at UVA.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Room was clean, area was a little noisy but quieted down at dark. Room was comfortable. The guy in check-in was great.
- 3/5
Had to wait for about 10 minutes to check due to Desk Rep outside smoking and on the phone. The Guy was Very Pleasant once he came back inside and Checked Me in my Room. Thanks Sir Lots of Restaurants and Shopping in Walking distance. I will stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay.
- 3/5
The stay of great, except for the TV did not work. The guy at the front desk was helpful, came up to look at it, but was unable to get it to work.
- 5/5
Very kind staff and clean facility. Price very afordable and close to everything that is essential 😊
- 3/5
Remodeled but old and not in great shape. Kind of dirty feeling throughout. A big in bathtub, sporadic gaps in ceiling tiles. Do not disturb sign sticky with something from previous guests 😬. Didn't venture into breakfast area. We slept ok. Pretty mediocre overall but glad we found a vacancy.
- 5/5
The hotel was excellent. Clean and close to downtown where I was going.
- 4/5
Not the best breakfast
- 3/5
Excellent service with the staff, friendly and fantastic. Room was clean, breakfast area was well maintained. Only complaints were that the TVs were connected to a non-working wifi that did not allow for me to stream or cast to the TV and i could not, for the life of me, find the fitness center.
- 3/5
Bed was creaky, even with the slightest move making harsh metal sounds. Options at breakfast were ok, could offer more than apples as fruit. Few coffee cups were dirty and stuck together. Very small buffet area.
- 3/5
Just a rest stop for a different destination
- 5/5
I like the friendliness of the staff who were very helpful.
- 5/5
The stay was very nice and clean. The room was clean and roomy. The bed was noisy but comfortable.
- 3/5
Was okay
- 3/5
I got what I paid for for a 75$ room. A dump shower was awful barely had any water coming out. The bed was a lumpy mess. Stained covers.
- 4/5
Good place to stop for the night
- 1/5
On my staying at this place for the second time around 2 am someone was trying to open my door and next door I was thinking the was a drunker neighbor who was lost and I didn’t pay attention this was almost al night, went i wake up on the morning my door was open only with the top locked thanks god,but went I past to the next’s door I saw the room was vacant I went too the front desk and make a complaint this is was a scary moment until now the property manager didn’t call me to give me a explanation of who was trying to open my door
- 5/5
Everything was fine.
- 4/5
it is located at Emmet Street and convent to go to a lot of places.
- 4/5
It was okay over all except the sheets are smelly like real strong bio smell also my husband said that bathroom area smells bad. It needs to be clean better even the sheets look clean still need to changed and clean sheets. It looks clean doesn’t mean you don’t change it. I keep waking up because of that smell. I put pillow on my chest so, that helped a bit to sleep.
- 5/5
Nice folks, clean place. Good deal.
- 3/5
Dead bugs in bathroom.
- 5/5
Good people and located where we need to be.
- 4/5
Very clean, if utilitarian hotel. I’d stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff is very accommodating and helpful.
- 4/5
Good place-reasonable room, clean. Toilet/shower area a little small, exterior of pace a little drab, bed coverings and drapery had holes/burn type marks. Breakfast was a big bonus, was good and saved us a ton of time! Staff members friendly!
- 3/5
Great check in. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. The AC unit was noisy everytime it ran. The outside light was bright and the curtains didn't keep out the light.
- 2/5
Toilet doesn’t have fan and very narrow
- 4/5
Easy check-in, friendly staff
- 4/5
Easy parking and good location
- 4/5
Breakfast served from 6am-10am was good and convenient, consisting of premade cheese omelets, a well working waffle maker, toast, bagels, apples, yogurt and cereal. Apple juice, orange juice and some other fruit juice on tap. Coffee served all day in the lounge. Also shower had very good water pressure, although it was slightly small and felt a little claustrophobic.
- 4/5
Easy check-in, clean rooms, nice staff
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Room was well appointed on the inside and modern
- 5/5
Enjoy my stay
- 5/5
I was a good place to stay
- 2/5
There was nothing I liked. The parking signs said country inn, everything waa chipped, terrible bathroom and a light fixture outside the room so it felt like daylight at 2am.
- 3/5
Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we did not realize that this was essentially motel , ie only outside access. On a relative basis, it was overpriced for what it offered.
- 5/5
Hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was good, especially the cheese omlet heated up in the microwave I didn't think it was going 2 taste that good at all, but I was delicious! Would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area!
- 2/5
Burn holes in sheets and blankets
- 2/5
First time ever staying here that we saw roaches....
- 1/5
If you need a place to sleep for one night it would work. But honestly for the price, you should look at some of the newer hotels immediately surrounding the hotel. I don't think it was worth the money for the accomodations.
- 3/5
I think all rooms should be non smoking
- 4/5
we only stayed one night everything was was clean. I never like a sink outside the bathroom but other wise it was good
- 3/5
The hotel is well located to shopping and to the medical center. There is nothing fancy about it, but it was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and pleasant. The nightly rate made this a good value if one is just looking for a modestly- priced, basic place to sleep.

Basic, clean and pleasant staff

Had to change rooms when the Hvac system stopped working. Very inconvenient! Also hotel is next to busy area which is why you need fan running to drown out. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was decent.

Best continental breakfast with protein options and fruit.

It's obvious that this is an older building that has been repaired cosmeticly. Room was comfortable and clean.Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was adequate. All in all, I would stay here again.

I don't think we will coming back

Very nice helping while my wife in UVA HOSPITAL

A clean, comfortable room at a competitive price. Decent breakfast with waffles, toast, bagels, cereals, muffins, yogurt, apples, coffee, tea, juice, and cheese omelets. Nice room that seemed to have been recently renovated.

Convenient to UVA.at a reasonable price.

Unacceptable conditions that could easily be addressed with proper cleaning. Mirror, furniture, phone, and alarm clock covered in dust. Lamp shade had a stain on it. Bed blanket was terribly worn and thin. Somebody needs to get into the corners of that room and use some elbow grease to clean it. Breakfast coffee was like mud. Just awful really…and way too much money. Wyndham can do better than this.

Everytime O come to Charlottesville I always stay here! I love how clean the rooms are and they smell good! The staff is very friendly and very attentive! I will be back next week! This is my favorite place to stay and Starbucks is literally across the street!

Guy at the front desk very cheery and went out of his way to help my daughter on an IT issue. The place was good value for the location.

All in all, if one is looking simply for a clean and up-to-date room in a convenient Charlottesville location, this property offers good value for the money.

Just stopped for a night. Looking at outside of hotel I was a little hesitant. The surrounding area was really nice except for this little square of hotels right off the highway. This hotels outside appearance and lobby were not up to date and run down but the rooms itself were actually clean and decent for a 1 night stop. After we settle in we went to turn on TV and it was smashed from a previous guest, loud, and we couldn’t turn it off. Hotel staff was nice and instantly gave us a new room but it was an annoyance to repack everything and move just after we got settled in after a long day of travel but to be fair the employee did everything he could have done to resolve the situation in the moment. Breakfast was not as expected. Coffee was awful, looked like battery acid it was so dark and strong. Other guests were put off by it as well and trashing it also. Nice waffle maker but the omlets were cold in a fridge with yogurt and you had to microwave them. It was a very odd hotel breakfast and don’t recommend. All in all I probably wouldn’t stay again if I was in the area.

Everything was good

It provides what is needed. Front desk is friendly.
- 3/5
Accommodations were pretty good, but the area is very noisy.
- 3/5
It wasn’t bad, but if you don’t smoke specifically say you want a non smoking room. There was burn marks on the toilet seat and overall you could tell the room was heavily smoked in.
- 5/5
The room we where in was very clean and looked to be newly remodeled. I would stay here again.

The staff were amazing. They were so very kind. The room was newly remodeled so it was incredibly clean. I was very impressed. The only problem I had was this is a college town and college kids were walking back and forth through the parking lot headed to another part of campus (I assume) until around 2am. So they were loud and that kept me awake. But that’s not the hotel’s fault. Oh and the breakfast was great too!

We always stay here when we have an early appointment at uva its convenient and we can get a smoking room

The place was pretty standard, but the staff was very nice. The location was great for seeing a show at the John Paul Jones arena. We walked there and back. The air conditioner and fridge in my room barely worked. Neither got very cold. I was only there for one night so it wasn’t bad.

Clean room. Sparse. Comfortable bed and pillows. My main complaint was room noise. Had one of those loud air conditioners that would drown out most of it. Unremarkable place but hard to find a reasonably priced room elsewhere in Charlottesville! Front desk people were friendly.
