I didn’t even get to stay here! I booked and showed up after a 13 hr drive and was informed by the desk clerk (who looked annoyed I was even there) that she had cancelled my room and given it to someone else. She claimed she had no contact info from hotels.com but I spoke with someone from Expedia and they said that was simply not true. Regardless, we stayed somewhere else and it was for the better. Place looked filthy when we walked in and did not smell great.

The lobby was clean, nothing special but clean enough. Our room was so stuffy and smelled like urine it was terrible. Wish we could open the windows and let some of that TN air in. Breakfast was nothing special, typical for this type of hotel. We spent two night there so we survived but if this was a longer trip I would have definitely looked for other place to move to. The smell was just unbearable.

Shopping close by. Would definitely rent again.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel seemed outdated but was very clean. The parking lot was in need of repair, lots of potholes.

check in was easy, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, liked having the body lotion, & shampoo & conditioner as complimentary - super helpful - although the bathroom linens were not the cleanest ever - they need to be bleached or new as they were a bit worn out.

I also didn't like the fact that you had to drive into a gas station to get to the hotel behind it. The Howard Johnson motel shared a parking lot, and they ran us off when we tried to park on "their" side. There were NO more parking spaces for us to use at our hotel! The gas station in front of the hotel and the Howard Johnson motel seemed very ghetto! Guests on our floor were very loud in the morning before our alarm went off.

Always stay here when traveling from Missouri to Florida.

The hotel had on-site parking. Check in/out was super easy; the front desk staff was professional and to the point on details. The 3rd floor was quiet, very little noise overall, even being so close to the freeway. My room was overall clean and cozy. Was it 100% perfect? No. If you sat and looked for imperfections you could definitely find them, but nothing that took away from the experience or made me uncomfortable. It was definitely a pleasant stay for the location and what I paid.

The breakfast seemed ok but not enough choices for people who prefer to eat healthy. Parking did not feel safe. The rooms need upgrading.

If Very friendly Morning Staff and cleaning crew are super nice (night shift receptionist is not approachable/helpful), clean breakfast and welcome area, clean room,(pool looks dirty though) walking distance to fast food is a plus specially when traveling with children

My kids got sick from the indoor pool. I had to take my youngest with severe asthma to the pulmonologist and they said she had chlorine toxicity from the pool not being very well ventilated.

This was a good place to stay. Not far from Lookout Mtn and not far from downtown Aquarium. Convenient location

The bath had a large vanity, but the toilet was crazy close to the shower. Looked like a contractor error!! We did enjoy the black out blinds! Breakfast was from 6am-9am. There was a variety of foods but needed more seating( or we went at a popular time). Close to I-24. The elevator seemed to be pretty slow, parking lot closest to the entry needed more spaces.

The staff was awesome!

The pool was kind of green and it wasn’t warm enough to put my small children into. The night desk worker was rude and unhelpful. The WiFi never connected. The hotel needs some updates and the tub leaked. The breakfast was meh. The waffle batter was about 60% water and the waffles wouldn’t cook properly because it was so thin. I would not recommend this hotel to families with small children.

They also said they use different itinerary numbers than what Expedia gives us, so they claimed they couldn’t look up our stay to refund us. Will never stay at this location again. Make sure to ask if the room is paid for before you swipe your card!

We drove several hours booked a room while on the road was late when we checked in so we went straight to bed. Woke up the next morning. We both had to take cold showers. We were not planning to even stay another night but usually when situations like this occur, most companies will try to make it right somehow so we thought we would just stay another night and maybe get a room at a discounted price they would not work anything out with us at all, but led to say that hot water was out all across Lookout Mountain that it was not their fault and all we asked was them to waive the pet fee so not only will they not negotiate if something is wrong with your room, but also will make up lies about why it’s not their problem.. also the beds don’t stay still the headboards make a lot of noise. The cold shower has no pressure. They only put one towel in the room. The TV turns on and off all night. And the AC blows out as bad as cold as the hot water does.

The room was nice a couple issues, the internet didn’t seem to be working but we still had service. My wife’s parents also got a room and had to have someone come and clean up about a dozen bugs, probably lady bugs. So that was strange.

Easy access to get on the road in the morning

The lady at the front desk was BEYOND amazing! Super friendly and kind. Asked if we were using the sofa sleeper, offered extra towels. Told us about the pool hours and breakfast time. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel is decently clean. Our original room smelled like someone smoked in there, but the front desk attendant was very nice and gave us another room without question. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy except for the pullout sofa, which could use an updated mattress.

Conveniently located hotel. It was clean and safe. The A/C unit was noisy and our proximity to the elevator made us vulnerable to noise to early departing guests. Breakfast was 6 AM to 9 AM which seems a little early for a Saturday morning: don’t worry McDonald’s is just steps away so breakfast was not free.

Other than a McDonalds next store nothing really convenient around. Staff not overly friendly. Breakfast was okay at best. Room was nice but hallways were hot. Okay for an overnight stay but would look elsewhere for longer stay.

Room 319 smelled like urine. The carpet was wet and sticky. I’m assuming someone peed all over the room and this is something housekeeping should notice especially because of how bad the room smelled. I would have liked to leave the hotel and find another one but it was midnight and I am traveling with 4 kids. We were moved to another room. Overall the hotel is pretty run down and disgusting.

The hotel was clean and fresh smelling. Our room was nice and clean, fully stocked with towels, but I did notice a few black hairs on our blankets. That made me wonder if they had been washed or not.. The free breakfast was hot and good. There were several things to choose from. Good area. Overall, I would stay here again

This was a really nice place to stay. Convenient location. Evening desk person, lady from Jamaica, was great. Would be 5 stars except they allow pets which is a terrible policy. A woman brought her bird in a cage to her table at breakfast. Her "support" pet. Crazy.

I've had better breakfasts at a motel 6. The smell is musty with a hint of old stale cigarettes. The carpet has a dirty motel feel to it. All in all .. very disappointed

A very nice stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good always hot and well stocked with plenty on hand. Only complaint, which really isn't a complaint, is the coffee is not good, doable if you have to have it like me.

We stayed for a quick weekend vacation and I would recommend it to others. Breakfast was good and room was clean and a good size.

Roaches running around in and near the room ac unit Floors were filthy and sticky One bed had sheets that had what appeared to be unwashed blood spot on them. The staff was amazing in their kind demeanor and helpfulness. My family was simply too uncomfortable to remain there. Given some hard work it has the potential to be a nice hotel.

The hotel is clean. The breakfast was okay. Not the best I've had but was enough for my three teenage boys to get full. There are several restaurants nearby either in walking distance or a short drive away. We chose this hotel because they accept dogs. We saw several families with their dogs too and I never heard any barking or saw any trouble from having dogs on the property. The bed and pillows were comfortable too.

It was clean and nice. The only complaint I have is the pool was cold as eyes indoor pool needs to have a heater on it.

Despite there being a huge party of families with a lot of kids, our stay was very peaceful. The pool was up to date and clean. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh. All the staff we encountered were amazing and so kind!

Front desk was kinda abrupt when we checked in. Property was nice and well kept. The room was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was minimal but tasted decent.

Shower Curtain bar was broke off wall on one side of wall causing curtain to bunch in middle and NEVER stay closed, not to mention dagerous if it fell or slipped on drenched floor. Called down to ownership at front desk and was told "Well, what do you want me to do? It wont fall on anyone" Bedsheets were DISGUSTING when pulled back covers for night with blood stains and dried (boogers) (werent clean at all) CALLED FRONT DESK AND WAS TOLD THEY DIDNT HAVE ANYONE TO.BRING UP CLEAN ONES. WHEN I THREATENED TO LEAVE SHE BROUGHT ME CLEAN SET BUT HAD TO CHANGE MYSELF BECAUSE "MY SHOULDER HURTS TODAY" AND LEFT. NO SOAPS IN BATHROOM HAD TO GET FROM WALMART DOWN ROAD, DIDNT LEAVE CLEAN TOWELS ANY OF 4 DAYS EVEN AFTER ASKING Day 3--asked for garbage bag ( for dirty clothes) was told would have to wait until tommorrow when housekeeper arrived to get because SHE WAS EXPECTING CALL FROM SISTER AND COULDNT LEAVE FRONT DESK! I KEPT THINKING IT WAS EITHER THE "TWILIGHT ZONE" OR A HIDDEN CAMERA SHOW. PATHETIC PLACE, PATHETIC OWNERSHIP, STAFF, COMPLETE WAIST OF MONEY AND DUMP

Easy check and friendly staff

Check in was quick, friendly staff. But our room had several broken items - worst being the top door lock. Would not return.

Was not in a nice area and considered my service animal as a pet. The hotel smelled like urine and the seats were not clean. Everything looked unsanitary.

The room was okay .. no real complaints , breakfast was not good at all . Very small selection for the amount of people who were there for memorial day weekend. Probably the worst breakfast I've ever experienced. & The front desk attendant that checked us in wasn't friendly but overall, it was convenient for the activities we traveled there for.

Check in was at 3pm, got there at 4:15pm, got assigned a room only to find out that it was still being cleaned. Room was clean and comfortable, but did have a spider on the bed. There is a motel next door that looks a little shady. Very little parking at this hotel.

The locked side door was propped open in the evenings. The pool was chilly and paint is peeling all over the pool deck which gets on your skin. The pull-out couch was stained and had a thin mattress- could only work for a smaller kid. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the facilities had room for improvement.

Property was right off the interstate behind a gas station, parking was crowded. The staff was friendly, rooms clean and beds were comfortable. Pool area needs some attention floors were very slippery and need a new coating. Make sure to take towels to the pool as there were none available at pool. Breakfast variety was good and had great coffee. Several restaurants close. Be sure to try Odell’s on the GO.

Fire alarm went off and we had to wait in the parking lot until the fire department arrived and gave all clear to re-enter.

This hotel smelled clean from the get go. Whole place was clean and beautiful. The downside was the free breakfast was minimum, tasteless and the coffee was the worst I have ever drank.

Seems like kind of a shady area. I had no issues but parking was tight! Overall no problems, and the staff interactions I had were good. Light staff though.

We stay at the Comfort Inn Chattanooga West Lookout Mountain every time we travel to Florida. The staff is courteous and friendly. The amenities are great. Breakfast is hearty and free! Beds are very comfortable. We highly recommend the Lookout Mountain location!!

The room was fine, but parking was horrible. We were among the last to arrive for the night. Only three parking spots were open, aside from the EV charging spots, and those three regular parking spots were very tight due to large vehicles parked over the line. We probably should have parked in the EV charging spots, as there wasn't a sign forbidding it, and it was late already, so no one was likely to use it. Instead we squeezed into a spot. We wasted 15-20 minutes trying to find a spot and then trying to get into it. The area seemed kind of sketchy too.

The room was ok but had a smell probably because they allow pets.

Stayed over nite on 2nd floor,room was very clean and comfortable, a little noise from the 3rd floor room but not to bad,overall everything was nice, I would stay there again, oh if you have a pet there is a $35.00 fee

Sink plug in bathroom was stuck, and we had to use hands to pull it out; was gross. Also, drain on bathroom floor was not properly leveled, causing trips and stubbed toes.

The heated pool was cold, and clpsed at 6pm,a lot of noise at night from people in the parking garage.

The staff were amazing. Everyone went out of there way to make sure my stay was pleasant. The food was good and the beds were so comfortable and the pillows!! It was 15 minutes from rockcity and 7 minutes from rubyfalls. The pool was clean and they had towels by the pool for you. And around the clock coffee. Oh and my grandson forgot his toothbrush well they had that to. A great place to stay. I would stay again.

Check in was terrible; the room I reserved was “given away” to another patron; no apologies was just told it was ok the front desk attendant would give me a different room other than what I reserved and what was cheaper than what I reserved. Very frustrated. The room was ok. It was cleanish and was adequate. Breakfast was a hot service and had a decent selection. I can’t say I would stay here again.

Nice motel but hidden behind bad road surfaces leading to motel

The hotel overall had an odor and the first room we got had a burning smell from the heater. When we got switched to another room it was much better but there were ladybugs on the walls and ceiling and the water didn't drain in the tub. The workers were patient and considerate when it came to moving our room. Overall, the hotel itself wasn't the most ideal or welcoming environment.

But our room smelled like cleaning supplies covering old urine. It made me feel dirty the whole time I was in the room. I couldn't get past the smell-- it made me think my bare feet were walking on pee carpet, and it affected every other aspect of my stay. We left earlier than we'd planned because I just wanted to be out of there. Also, side note: when my booking specifies that there will be 6 people in the suite, I really would appreciate bed linens for the sofa bed without having to go ask for them. And the couch beds are too small. Breakfast was good. Thank you.

We were looking for affordable safe place to see lookout mountain and rock city. This hit the bill with great bed and convenience to our destination. Plus the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice quiet place .

I booked this property through Expedia. When I arrived I used my AmEx to check in. My room was located next to the elevator but the noise from the elevator was not nearly as loud as the people in the room next door or those walking down the hallway. In addition, due to the proximity of the hotel from the highway, you could hear the traffic. There was hair on the bathroom door. I was willing to overlook these things and bypass a negative review but then I was awaken by a phone call at 6:45 AM notifying me that there was a problem with my credit card. When I approached the front desk clerk to resolve the issue, I asked why wasn't I informed about the card at the time of the transaction and I was told that there system does not process until 3 AM. I already had a poor night's sleep due to the highway, hallway, and neighboring room noise, and then an early morning call - I left exhausted. And the hotel had increased its room rates due to a local event. Overall, a horrible experience.
