Convenient to freeway, close to Ruby Falls. Cleanliness could have been better, especially the bathroom. The key issue we experienced was that after we checked in & went up to the room we subsequently requested an extra pillow since there were only 3 on the bed, since we both sleep with two pillows obviously we requested an additional one, the reception guy explained he couldn't do that since it was Econo Lodge's policy only to have 3 pillows which I thought was rather strange, clearly this wasn't acceptable to us so we advised that we would look elsewhere for a room. Within 5 minutes the reception manager came out to our car before we drove iff & said he could now provide an extra pillow, quite unbelievable! We relented & finally accepted the room with the extra pillow, LOL!

I'd love even a Continental breakfast!

Always a good place to get a quiet night's sleep. Convenient location. Clean. Friendly staff. They even called my room before cleaning the sidewalk because they were afraid something would get on my car. I'll stay here many more times. No complaints.
- 4/5
I have stayed here more times than any other hotel in Chattanooga. It is always quiet. The rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. Dollar General is directly across the street. Multiple gas stations and fast food nearby. Easy access to I-24. Great place to get a good night's rest and then get back on the road in the morning. I'd love even a Continental breakfast!

Fairly clean and comfortable for what you pay for. Scary elevator and not a super fantastic location for Chattanooga (better for just visiting lookout mountain). You get what you pay for and this met my expectations for the price

It was clean. Some of the characters staying there were questionable. TV had a flicker to it because of connection and the doorknob felt loose.

Parking was decent. Staff friendly, clean and the beds were comfy. But a heads up about a deposit would be a good thing to include. So I'm putting it out there for anyone who reads the reviews, there is a 50$ deposit.

The location was okay and the room was average. I booked this room February1st and at that time I requested an hour and a half to two hour early check in. Until March 20th I had never gotten a response for this request. So I called and each time I called the location the staff wasn't very courteous they never stated that they were a hotel and just answered the phone like any normal person. When I spoke to the agent he said there wouldn't be a problem for an early check in but that I couldn't check in before 1:30. I asked was there going to be any issue with this and he stated no and told me good day. I booked this room for my son for a wedding venue and when he arrived the agent charged him an extra $30 for an early check-in. That was not stated on the website nor did he imply this when I spoke with him on the 20th. If there's going to be extra charges added the website needs to imply this. According to my son who stayed there he said most definitely he would never stay there again!

Location was great for my needs. The staff, Neil, was super. Room was clean and comfortable. I need to bring my pillow. Pillows were soft; just a bit small. Although, there were three. That helped.

Unwashed sheets!!! Please don't stay here if you don't want to stay in a room with soiled sheets from the previous guest.
- 3/5
Room smelled cigsrette smoke and comforter had cigarette burn stain on it. Staff was nice and did not change room but changed bed comforter.

We were pleasantly surprised with this Econolodge. Picked it because it’s close to Ruby Falls & Rock city & a good price. No frills/nothing fancy. It was clean & bed was super comfortable. The man at the desk was very nice & provided us with information from the area. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Needed one night as driving through and it was great!

After hours access was a little funky but felt safe as single women traveling and the room was very clean and comfortable. Great location for access to Ruby Falls and Rock City.

I asked to be on my first floor due to a disabled person that had just had surgery with easy access instead I will put on the second floor away from the door they did have an elevator however when we went to leave that morning the elevator was out of order and the person I was with had to try to walk down the stairs after surgery due to them putting this on the second floor then when confronted they said that it was not their problem
- 4/5
The staff let us check in early. There’s walkable fast food restaurant. The room wasn’t the cleanest but I’ve seen worse for sure. For the price it was a decent stay for one night
- 4/5
Good value, clean. Convenient and close to Lookout Mountain. No breakfast but McDonalds next door
- 5/5
Very clean and well maintained for a low budget hotel. Bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
We reserved an accessible room. Their elevator was non functioning sndaandandkandator
- 2/5
Not enough pillows and not enough blankets., no conditioner and not body wash . Elevator was broken .
- 4/5
Cons: That elevator! When it comes to a stop, it's very loud. That first trip up you'll wonder "hey are we about to go back down?!?!?" Nevertheless, it gets you up and down just fine. The hallways have a bit of an old smell, if that makes sense. The hotel could handle a bit of a paint job. The AC in the room was cool in the beginning but, it didn't keep us cool throughout the night. The bed could handle more pillows. We had a king with 3 small fluffy pillows. The breakfast was non existent on a Sunday. All that's available is coffee and OJ.
- 4/5
Arrived late at night and staff was still pleasant and helpful. For the price, this was a great option.
- 5/5
Liked that McDonalds and gas station were next door
- 5/5

At check in was sent to the wrong room and it was a dirty room. I had to go back downstairs get assigned a new room, then the key cards with number to the door and was unaware that we had to pay for parking for our vehicle. stay there while we stayed at the hotel.

Overall just a blah experience. There was no one at the front desk and had to wait for someone. She mentioned a vending machine (not that we use one), but when I went looking for the vending machine (thinking they had a beverage one for water) sadly we came up short on that end. The food vending machine only had 3 options and the rest of it was empty. Then our room was decent, but the remote didn’t work to the TV. The comforter (or lack there of) was just not nice. When we tried to check out around 5:45am, no one was at the front desk again. For one night, stay at your own will, but will not be staying here again.
- 2/5
The heat did not get about around 65 degrees in the room. Bed linen left a rash on my skin. That is not common for my dermatology. They bedding was very light and unable to remain warm at night.
- 3/5
Not a bad place to stay
- 5/5
This property was kept clean and organized. We had a very easy check in, usual informational questions and then on your way. There’s a gas station and DG next to the hotel if ever in need. We highly enjoyed the comfort and ease of this place.

Hotel was clean and staff was extremely nice. Went out of their way to please me. No breakfast, but there is a McDonalds right next door. Just a few steps away. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Worth every penny. Also close to everything. 5-7 minutes to everything on lookout mountain. Will stay again on next Chattanooga trip.
- 2/5
Staff not nice at check in
- 3/5
Deposit fee limited me from exploring the area nice dollar general was across the street
- 3/5
The hotel was clean and front desk was helpful.bthe free breakfast was just juice and coffee. That was a disappointment. I wanted to check in early. It cost me ,,$25 extra. I didn't care at the time because we were tired. We came to see Ruby falls. It was nice. The bathrooms did not have Kleenex blow dryers extra soap shampoo and conditioners. The mattresses were new.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. All the appliances worked well. The shower was very clean and easy to set the water temperature. TV was fine and A/C worked very well. I could tell the bed/mattress was new - perhaps a bit soft for my liking, being a pillowtop, but that's not a complaint. I've stayed here before and will stay again in the future since business brings me regularly to Chattanooga. Mr. Patel and his employees doing a fin job.
- 5/5
Clean and the pool was private ! Kids loved it
- 2/5
Hard to understand the front desk clerk. Barely spoke English. I had trouble checking in. He tried to charge me like I didn’t have a reservation. If he would have spoke better English, probably wouldn’t have been a problem understanding that I told him I had a reservation in the beginning.
- 4/5
It was okay.
- 4/5
Clean and the staff was very helpful!

The next day, I saw the same GM and he was very appreciative of my business and asked me to come back anytime. I was only at the hotel for seven hours. For the price paid, I thought this accommodation was a value.
- 5/5
Ive stayed here before thats why i chose it again nice little hotel friendly staff clean rooms i will continue to stay anytime i go to Chattanooga
- 2/5
There was no secondary lock on the door. It was missing. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked well.
- 4/5
Good location for seeing the sights of Chattanooga. Clean room, had everything i needed, and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent. We forgot something in our room when we checked out and they were kind enough to get it and keep it at the front desk for us so we could swing by and grab it. Thank you!
- 4/5
room was well stocked and very clean
- 1/5
Paid through Expedia and was asked for a credit card when we arrived. Billed us again. Then booked us into the wrong room and had to refund the money and took another full rate again and lied to us about the charging our card again. Called the credit card company and verified the transactions and have to put in a dispute to get our money back. Don’t stay here if you like your money.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to from the highway.
- 4/5
It was a decent place to stay as we passed through on our trip.
- 4/5
good for the price
- 5/5
Very clean rooms. Good condition. Great beds. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Good value for an economically priced motel. Very convenient to Lookout Mountain attractions and Chattanooga also. Property was in good condition, well kept up.
- 3/5
The ref in the room was very loud, the pillows are very small and too soft, the bath towels should be upgraded some. The blanket had a tear/rip. With some small changes it would get a different review from me.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a little road noise being by the highway but that wasn't enough to keep us up at night.
- 5/5
Its was clean
- 4/5
The place is definitely dated, and dingy. Is this the most clean place to stay, not really. Is it okay for a one night stay? Absolutely. If your a frequent traveler you know to check the room out before getting settled in. I checked the bathroom for any issues, pulled back the sheets and checked for bed bugs, and made sure both locks worked on our door. Everything was good. The room was acceptably clean. The king size bed was great, not hard or soft, perfect in between feeling. The bathroom was bright and clean, extremely hot water, however the water pressure wasn't great. The "worst" part was the elevator, on one trip up the elevator stopped, and started making a weird noise and shaking.😳 We opted to use the stairs for the rest of our trip. Overall all, I would stay again.
- 4/5
Fridge has mold and dirty water inside it. Reported to desk, but was advised (apologetically) that nothing could be done until the next day, which was too late to be helpful to us. Front desk person is polite and gave us information about the area, but was unable to address the maintenance issue in a timely way.
- 1/5
Ended up finding a cheaper hotel (pet fee included) close that worked out well.
- 3/5
Mm
- 5/5
My 2nd time staying here. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Could use an extra pillow lol. Will continue to use them when in area
- 5/5
This was a great budget friendly stay. No extra frills, the room was a little small, but it was clean, the staff was nice and check in and out was easy.
- 3/5
There was nothing for the 'continental breakfast" other than coffee and juice. This is not truth in advertising.
- 4/5
Newly updated, very clean and quiet, comfortable, bed. The only think lacking is breakfast and McDonalds is literally next door. GREAT value!
- 3/5
However, there were only about 20 squares of toilet paper left on the roll in the bathroom and no backup roll. That was an unpleasant surprise when we woke up after getting in late. Although there was mention of a breakfast from 6:30-8:30am, the only thing available was juice and coffee. So that was another unpleasant surprise.
- 5/5
Arrived after 1am, check in was quick. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Highly recommended
- 4/5
It was good for the price. The blankets were too thin, but everything was clean and in working order
- 5/5
Very spacious rooms and friendly staff
- 5/5
Stayed for one night , easy to reach popular attractions around the area. Couple of breakfast option next to the hotel. Clean and big enough rooms
- 5/5
Great comfortable stay! We booked a third night. Clean, safe, and friendly
- 4/5
Bf & I stayed 3 nights. Nice location, area felt safe. Hotel was older but clean. Stay was quiet. Continental breakfast was nothing. Non existent. They seemed to have had a coffee dispenser but we did not indulge ha. Shower was nice and hot. They made our bed every day and emptied trash and swapped towels if needed. Parking lot was small. King room was very small. Felt cramped. Elevator stopped working on the day we were leaving so we had to carry all our bags and a cooler down 3 flights of stairs. Overall a decent place for the price very basic. The only downfall that will ensure that we would not stay here again is that their "brand new beds" as stated on the outdoor sign, were so hard we both couldnt sleep well at all and both woke up each morning for 3 days with back aches. It was terrible. If a rock hard bed is your thing, this is the place for you.
- 4/5
Did like the cleanliness and room.
- 5/5
Good value. Right next to McD and freeway. No complaints. Though i had 3 lady bugs in my room. Lol.
- 5/5
Nice room. Had some beetles come in only when the light was on but not the tv or bathroom light. Harmless. Just three in two nights. Very clean otherwise. Room was cheerful and suitable size. Staff seemed friendly Not near anything walkable but was eight minutes from the mountain sights one way and downtown the other.
- 1/5
Smelled weird Nice desk clerk
- 3/5
Some lady was banging on our door at 5:30am and wouldn’t leave us alone tell we got up! Then she laughed… made us even more mad!!! We thought they would have a laundry facility but it doesn’t….
- 3/5
Nothing special. Clean is the main thing.
- 5/5
Great hotel and great location. If you dont want to spend $400 a night on a hotel in Downtown Chattanooga this is the place to stay. Your 5 minutes from downtown.
- 5/5
It was a nice place to stay
