I enjoyed my stay, everything was very pleasant and easy to maneuver

The bathroom was teeny tiny. I am 5'0 tall and 110 lbs. and it was a tight fit.

On the surface this looks like a decent place, however, aside from the breakfast being decent. The rooms are dirty, they all stink like cigarettes, the pool is filthy, and they have no password on the wifi at all. Repeat, not even a log in. So, the open network just sits there and is accessible by anyone. Anywhere. The facility is also loud at times. I also think I got bit by something because my legs felt all tingly and a numb spot on my thigh? Anyway, another example of multiple staff living on premises and the ownership acting like they are slum lords. No reasoning, no logic. And apparently a blatant disregard for our safety as travelers, customers, and the people that make sure they even have a business to begin with.

Breakfast was good, but not extensive and the same thing every day. The coffee maker in my room didn't work, but there's free coffee in the lobby if you don't mind the walk.

Was told we could check out at 400pm twice. Next morning we were told they didn't offer late check out. The late check out was the only reason we booked this hotel. I confirmed that it was possible before booking.

The bathroom was very small. The bathtub took forever to drain so while showering you was standing in standing water.

Staff, ( owners daughter not friendly or accommodating at all. Other staff were pleasant. First impression was not pleasant.

Conveniently located off the interstate Upon arrival to both rooms, pulling back the sheets, they appeared to have not been changed. There was hair all over the sheets and some stains, rooms were dirty, and the facility smelled of weed also wires exposed in one of the rooms on the ceiling where they appeared to once be a smoke alarm, which was missing in the wires, were hanging down the handles to the drawers were also broken so when you pulled on them, they fell off. They could do a better on their housekeeping and cleaning of their facilities.

Additionally, the shower is quite tricky to figure out. Apparently, someone stronger than me has been trying to pull the shower handle out of the cabin wall trying to switch the water from the tub spout to the shower head. Turns out that there is a "ring" underneath the tub spout that was supposed to be pulled down all the way to make it happen. We only learned it in the morning at the check-out and had to use just the tub spout to wash. Not fun. Apparently, the owners could not care less to put up a little instruction in the bathroom.

The heated pool was broken. Granddaughter was sad about it and no coffee pot in room.

There was an odor of cigarette smoke in the room. The pool, despite being advertised as heated, lacked maintenance, as the water was cold to the touch. The staff were either unwilling or unable to do anything to make this better.

Location wasn’t bad. Not clean, our first room smelled strongly like weed. Bed not comfortable. Needs updated with paint chipping, doors were dirty, doesn’t look like anyone has cleaned under the bed in at least a year..

There was no lock on the outside door.

A staff member came in our room at 2am, looking for cleaning supplies. We were all asleep and it woke us up. He didn’t knock, he just let himself in with a card. My 13 year old yelled and my 17 year old woke up and we made him leave. I will never stay there again.

Staff were friendly but not very informative they hand u a sheet of paper telling u they are understaffed and ur room wont get cleaned but didnt communicate the pool.heater was broken. Also forgot a personal item and called back to see if it was found and even though i knew exactly where it was left nothing was found. I would never recommend this place. Our grandson got sick on bed and we requested the bed get changed and were told it would take a while but it never got changed. Horrible experience here.

Good value for the price, and great location for downtown access

Shower did not work. Then i was told it was just hard to tun on. Needless to say when the worst hotel expenses I've ever had and will not stay with that one again

Comfortable room. Breakfast nutritious. Kids enjoyed indoor pool, but Was not very warm as adults could not handle the low temperature.

Soft spots all in the floor. Whole upstairs hallway feels like youll fall through. This hotel is 2 stars at best. It sucks. Do not recommend.

Clean and quiet room, easy access from the highway, very nice breakfast for a continental breakfast.

The room was tidy and fine but the bathroom was not cleaned sufficiently; the base of the toilet had urine on it. The staff members were friendly and the heated pool was nice.

Room was fine. Outdated but clean. Not able to take a bath sadly, but the shower was good. Biggest problem was the room next to us was smoking pot and the smell gives me migraines. We asked to be moved to another room and the woman behind the desk said she didn’t smell it so no room change. She was fairly dismissive. Also pool was definitely NOT heated

Rooms were clean. Friendly staff, the beds were a little loud on the metal plate thingy. My neighbors were yelling outside my window at night. It was good other than that.

It was easy to check in and they took cash for the deposit. I didn't expect the deposit upon arrival.

The rooms are very comfortable, the check-in is quick and easy, and they let me park my tractor in the driveway. This is where I always stay when I come back to Chattanooga.

Staff was nice but the towels are small and out room had cockroaches and the sink leaked very badly and the tv didn’t work

We ended up staying at a different hotel due to a very sketch vibe and we could not communicate with the staff. I am sure they are very nice people but it was just not for us.

Room was perfect for the expectations. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was average, check in was fine, the people upstairs were noisy late at night, the parking situation was different but ok i guess. One day housekeeping came when we we’re getting ready and we told them to come back later they never came and when went to the front desk to get more towels the person gave attitude to my sister. Chose the property cause I have used the brand before in other states and all good and cause it was close to what I went to chattanooga. It was an ok hotel for the price.

The staff was pleasant. Room was clean but it is very outdated. Saw a cockroach early the following morning.

The room had a horrible smell (smoke and stench)and wasn't well cleaned. There were cracks in the shower and bath tub. The pool (which was our main reason for booking ) was definitely not what was expected, it was not heated it was old with cracks in the bricks. It also could have used a cleaning. If you're going to come here I'd suggest bringing cleaning supplies and air freshner.

I booked a room with accommodations - toilet with grab bars. I confirmed upon check in. There were NO grab bars. I am asking for a 50% refund. Red Roof says I must address with Expedia. Expedia says I must address with Red Roof Inn. It's ridiculous. I paid for safety - for my elderly mom - I did not get it. Now, all I'm getting is a run around (half truths and lies). Going forward, I won't do business with either Expedia or the Red Roof Inn.

Friendly staff. Easy parking. Room was sparkly clean. Excellent water pressure and temperature. Ac/ heater in room and worked well. Beds were very comfortable and had good linens and pillows.

Terrible breakfast. Loud noisy place, no insulation in rooms. Low water flow. Barely functioning a/c

Breakfast was quite nice for a continental. Parking lot needs more paving. Room was clean, comfortable and nice. Basic but very suitable. We enjoyed our stay!

front desk clerk was extremely friendly & changed our initial room after it had a very bad smell of mildew & BO. 2nd room was much better but AC/heat unit didn’t work properly. not much around the area although Logan’s was good. it’s convenient being right off the highway though. pool wasn’t great & no pool towels available.

When I made the reservation with my card, I didn’t pay at that moment because I had selected the option to pay at the hotel. When I arrived, the person at the front desk told me that she had already charged that card, even though I wanted to use a different one. I found that very unpleasant, as I wasn’t given the opportunity to change the payment method. Other than that, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good for the price, and the area was beautiful and safe — conveniently close to restaurants. Everything else was great.

Room #123 has small roaches, not one or two but many. Front desk notified.

Breakfast area was too small for my group to eat together at the same time but the food itself looked fine.

It was ok. Need to advertise stairs and no elevator. Extremely small bathroom area with sink outside of bathroom. Just not used to that for a hotel.

I liked the area, the pool was the reason we chose this place. It was rather dirty on sunday morning such as hairballs with bugs, i didn't see any filters or skimmer running. The temp was fine other than that, rooms were average and could use some drywall repairs in spots. The shower was a little cramped. The coffee was 5 star the breakfast could use a little variety. I was happy except for the fact they charged me 50 over the price i paid on expedia and cut off the key at 10:50, also threatened to charge me 5 dollars for each key not returned 😅 unheard of

The room was comfortable, i was able to park close to the entrance to the building.

Good hotel for glamping. You have a bed and a shower with plumbing. Microwave and fridge and tv. No bugs. Rampant dust bunnies. Free breakfast. Powdered eggs and sausage. Bagels and stale muffins. Great for roughing it.

Shower faucet did not work properly. Called the staff and a woman came and just jiggled the handle for the water to barely come out. And it never got hot. So no shower. Would advise to seek other places to stay.

Was not able to stay, your stupid app put the wrong dates in the dates I booked it and found it was the next week not the day I needed You need to fix your app leave the date blank so I can check the date. If I ever use your app again

Excellent customer service, room was great and very clean. However there are dogs on the property and they barked late into the night and early morning. I fid not sleep well. NOT happy

The guy working the front desk lied to me and said my reservation wasn't until the following day & he said i had to call yall to get my money back. After he was only supposed to take the 100 deposit off my card but he charged it for 180.00 to pay for the room again & the deposit.

Had to give $100.00 cash deposit on room at check in that wasn’t disclosed on Expedia. I had already prepaid and she sets out this sign in front of me about the 100.00. I did get it back after my room was “inspected” at checkout, but that kind of stuff needs to be disclosed during booking. Amenities were 2 small bars of soap, a small shampoo for 1 person. No microwave. Location was great. Waffle House on one side, Cracker Barrel on the other. Pet friendly.

Lets start with the pool smelled like wet dirty mop water. It was slimy and cloudy. The property claimed it was a heated pool but was about 65 degrees. There were no towels for guests when you get out. Room had claw marks like something was stuck in the bathroom trying to escape, dirty floors, under the door bugs coming in and out of the room, no phone to contact front desk or even 911 when neighbors started a fight. upon checking out early for fear of safety hotel still charged for three nights rather than the one night. Refused to let me speak to a Manager when I called to inquire. Will never stay there again!

There were a couple of errors with certain aspects of the room, but overall, it's a great place to book!

Very old property and you get noise when people walk upstairs. People also should think that we have wood structures and not concrete when try to walk and run.

We’ve stayed here before. Again, the pool was “under maintenance” and not open. Our bed was hard. The bathroom door stuck at the bottom and was difficult to open. The bathtub dripped the whole time.

Unexpected $100 deposit at check-in. I needed to go to Chattanooga regarding a family issue for one night. I chose Red Roof for the value price. I had to klarna the room due to being currently in a tight spot. You know nothing about an additional deposit at check-in until you get there at 4:00 and it is too late to cancel. Cash or credit. I used my debit. I got nervous later because I started reading the Google reviews and a lot of people complained about not getting their deposit back. I discovered a hole in the backside of the bathroom door later in the evening and it worried me they might think it was me. I left the room super clean. Checked out at 9:00 and asked about deposit. He said it was processed after they had checked my room after 11:00. I did get my deposit back after 5 days..The whole thing just stressed me. For this I will not stay here next time. A lot of people complained of roaches but I did not see any. Pro: I found the room clean. Air conditioner worked well. The people seemed nice. Waffle House is literally a couple steps next door. Cracker Barrel a short walk. Free breakfast is typical Continental with warm eggs and sausage.

The shampoo was completely empty when we showed up and should’ve been checked when clean, also no body wash. The pictures of breakfast is just for show all you get is donuts and a muffin no waffles no cereal or microwave for the grits but we were allowed to take the food to the room to make. Staff wasn’t very friendly when I ask if they had any actual breakfast.

Nice place to stay. Very close to Ruby falls.

Bed was very uncomfortable and loud with any movement.

Checking out we were told it would take up to 3 days to get our refund AND I see an ADDITIONAL $100 deposit charged to my account the day of check out. I better see a $200 deposit refund coming my way very soon or I will be raising hell. We left that room as we found it, minus an unmade bed, and are not smokers. Because of this, I am lowering my rating.

It had a lot going on outside since access to the rooms was from the outside people would just be standing around. U hear arguments in the middle of the night. I didn’t expect it to be ran down. But it was clean from what I seen at least. They tried to charge us for a night WE DIDNT STAY and expedia had to call their manager to get our money back.

This is an older property that you can tell they are working to fix up. Our room was nice and clean and worked great for a one night stop.

The person who checked us in was rude, impatient, and bothered by me and the other customers in the lobby. The room smelled bad; sheets and pillowcases were thin and threadbare, full of various stains and hairs; there were several small bugs around the room. It was too nasty to be comfortable. We decided to leave and stay elsewhere even though they would not offer us a refund.

When we checked in the person working the front desk had a baby on their hip. Not a big deal. Once we got to our room, we looked the room over. The AC was off and tripped. We had to reset it three times to get it to start. Every pillow had someone else hair on it. Both beds fitted sheets had stains. The selector knob on the tub came out the wall. Front desk did offer to have some come change the pillow cases. When we went to the desk to ask the clerk about the selector valve coming out the wall they were in the middle of changing a dirty diaper.

Good room for the $ value.

We enjoyed being right in between a Waffle House and a Cracker Barrel.

The light fixture on the wall was hanging off and not secure. The bathroom had a wet paint sign and spackle where they repaired it and had not painted it yet. The bathtub didn’t drain.

Kids loved the pool. I wish there was a coffee pot in the room. First floor rooms are accessed from outside. Second floor rooms from a hallway. Quiet location.

Room was very nice, clean and had a great smell. Staff was also very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Property seems great. The Expedia check in experience was non existent as they seem to have completely lost all my information and won't pull up even the existence of the booking on the app

It's easy with the dog but is not very appealing. Also someone at Expedia or the hotel dropped the ball on my request to have a first floor due to our old dog having a hard time going up stairs. They claim they never got the request.

We really enjoyed the pool! The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean! We will definitely be back to stay again!

Very clean rooms, the staff was friendly.

Most of our stay was good. Thankfully we were split between 2 rooms because room 106 didn't even have enough water pressure to operate the shower and the toilet struggled to flush. When reported, we were just told there was no where close they could move us. No other assistance was offered. But the pool was decent, the beds were comfy. No coffee maker and they no longer offer breakfast.

Inconvenient layout, but overall wasn't a terrible hotel. Very busy but a nice pool.

Cleaning guy couldnt get his cart up the ramp. I parked far enough from the ramp for other people could get a wheelchair or cart up it.

Very nice receptionist! The beds were very comfy and clean. The rooms were very nice too. We really enjoyed the heated pool!!

Checking in the front desk staff was rude, short with customers. I was not expecting a $100.00 deposit. When our room keys didn't work the lady at the front deak acted as if i inconvenienced her wat hing her young children. Then asked if i knew to wait for the click before trying to open the door. She was not happy about recoding our keys, which still dont qork right and it takes at least 5 minutes to get in our room everytime we try to enter it.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. We were troubled by the loose toilet which seemed to smell. The worst part was the morning shower we couldn't get hot water. The water only heated to lukewarm, not warm enough to be comfortable.

If you’re trying to save a hundred bucks staying here, don’t. People above us stomping on the floor night after night, noisy people pulling in at all hours. A cockroach on the microwave. This was probably a nice hotel about ten years ago.

The website says a continental breakfast and they done away with the breakfast a while ago so update your website so people aren’t misinformed. Also, at check in the agent lied and said we don’t have breakfast this week because the manager is off???

The front desk were very nice and accommodating. Hot showers and bath. Clean room besides behind bed and on floor behind bed. Only provided 1 small shampoo / conditioner for 2pp for 3 nights. Comfy beds and comforters.

Non smoking room that smelled like smoke, stepped in ashes. Carpets were not clean. Sheets were stained.

The room was fairly clean and bed comfortable. But the shower floor had been “painted”, and the room felt dated. I would stay here again, but it would be a price thing for sure.

Excellent heater, really comfortable bed. Pool needs to be open much earlier in the morning. Cream cheese for bagels need to be placed in an obvious spot, not "hidden". Need ICE WATER for the continental breakfast. Not everybody drinks coffee or juice!

The gentleman who helped me was awesome and super friendly. I got to my room, I opened the door and an odor some nasty weed hit me at the door. I was too tired to care. The bed spread had stains on it. Luckily I bring blankets with me. The best part about the stay was the level of customer service at the front desk.

It's not the most glamorous but it's pet friendly, convenient to our travels and the staff worked with our request for a ground floor room.

Room was on lower level and very noisy all night.
