    The rooms were not particularly clean. The bedding was fine but the floors were nasty. Bring a pair of slippers. The gentleman at the front desk the night I stayed was really really nice and helped us switch rooms when I realized we got a smoking room. They offer breakfast but we left with out trying it.

    Room was not clean. The sheets and blankets had stains in multiple places on them. The floor was definitely not clean, and dirt on the walls. Shower was not the cleanest along with the floor in there. Room also smelt super musty. The only reason it wasn’t fully a zero was because the person working the front desk was super nice and changed us to a non smoking room. And the breakfast was good!

    Breakfast was amazing, shower too. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient. Didn't really like me using cash though. Smell of room wasn't appealing, tv remote didn't work but, I was only there to sleep and shower I sprayed perfume to help. Gap around whole entry door, a couple of beetles and mosquitos, Could be a lil better kept in the handicapped/disabled room.

    When I arrived, the front desk employee told me my reservation had been canceled because I had not checked in before 3:00 a.m. This was frustrating because Expedia did not say check-in ended at 3:00 a.m.; it said it ended “at any time.” I also had a multi-night reservation, so I do not understand why the entire stay was canceled. The interaction was also disappointing. The employee was blunt and disrespectful, and I was told I would need to book again at a higher rate. I ultimately had to rebook and pay significantly more than my original reservation. The next morning, the manager helped me get a refund through Expedia for the original booking, but I was not reimbursed for the additional amount I had to pay. The room itself was also below expectations. The body wash dispenser was broken, there were stains on the furniture, and the bed only had two small, very flat pillows. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. The check-in policy was not accurately communicated, my reservation was canceled despite Expedia saying check-in ended “at any time,” and the service and room quality were poor. I would not recommend Serenity Stay or choose to stay here again.

    There was a musty smell to the room. With the $60 deposit I was worried they would say the uncleanliness was our fault (it was not) or that towels were missing (again they were not but we had to bring them each time to get new)- luckily that was not an issue and I did get the deposit back.

    The man at the desk was friendly and easy to work with. That's where the positives end. This hotel was absolutely disgusting; we couldn't even stay here. This place had good reviews so, even though it was way out of the way of anything we were doing, we decided to book it anyway. We booked a king size, nonsmoking room (as I'm super sensitive to smoke). We walked into the room we were given and it absolutely reeked! It smelled so dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. We inspected the surfaces and saw dirt and debris everywhere, hair and stains on the comforter, it was so gross! There was also feces on the sidewalk outside. My husband went back to the front to tell the guy the room was unacceptable and to ask for another. As there was hardly anyone staying here (now we see why), we figured this shouldn't be an issue. He reassigned us to another room and somehow, this one was even worse! It was an inside courtyard room on a row of rooms that had a "nonsmoking section" sign on it. Additionally, all the rooms on that row had nonsmoking symbols on the room number sign. However, the second my husband walked into the room, he said "Nope!!" and walked right out. As the door closed, a wave of cigarette smoke hit me. I didn't even bother walking into the room. He went back to the front desk and asked for a refund so we could find somewhere else to stay for the night. The guy complied without any issue, however we never should have had to ask this to begin with! We were left scrambling to find another room at the last minute in the middle of our vacation after traveling in from another state all because they couldn't be bothered to clean their rooms, the most BASIC practice of operating a hotel! Avoid this place at ALL cost!! The place was so filthy and smelly that even if they tried to deep clean it, it probably still wouldn't make much of a difference at this point.

    the sheets were musty and the room smelled musty. we didn’t even smoke in the room. my boyfriend is a smoker but he smokes outside. there was no soap in the bathroom the conditioner dispenser was broke. the volume on the tv was horrible and the remote didn’t work right. it was only a 1 night stay but i probably won’t come again.

    Walls in the room were dirty . don’t walk around in your socks , they will be black from the shower to the bed . King bed for two people and 3 said pillows . Paid for 3 nights left a day early and got another hotel room . Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice place if your homeless !!!!!!

    Room was dirty, sheets were stained, couch was dirty and stained. Not enough bathroom towels etc for 2 people. Staff was unfriendly, lazy snd took a lot of smoke breaks. Breakfast was awful and unsanitary. Could not use the pool the hotel staff kept it closed. The a/c unit was very noisy difficult to sleep due to the a/c noise. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not return.

    Do not book a smoking room! The worst experience I’ve ever had. I travel a lot and have stayed in smoking rooms before but never like the one this hotel presented to me! The smoking room assigned to me was awful. I and my spouse checked in from being on the road for hours so you can imagine how tired we were from traveling and wanted a clean room to sleep in however the room given to us was terrible. The walls were nasty. The entry door looked like someone previously broken in did not feel safe. The bedding sheets had stains on them! Never again

    It doesn’t have an elevator and we were on the second floor. I complained about something (not a major issue) and it wasn’t taken care of. Ran out of toilet paper with no extra in the room. Did not receive the proper answer when I complained about that. Poor provision for hanging up garments. The walk in shower was very good. Only had one trash can and it quickly filled up and wasn’t emptied for two days.

    The check in/out staff were great but every other aspect of this place is terrible for the price you pay. The room was dirty & unkept, doesn’t even look like they clean baseboards, shower grout, floors, couch was stained/dirty. Some old guy on staff started knocking on our door before 10am when checkout is 11. He was upsetting our dogs, making them bark, & it stressed me too. Clearly the pictures online were from opening because our room did not look like that! This place does not convey serenity. The only reason we didn’t leave was because I’m disabled & after a long drive I felt too exhausted to move our stuff again. Thankfully, at least the bed was comfortable & didn’t have bugs. Don’t fall for the pictures, go somewhere else!

    The area was safe, well lit and had 24 hour security. Seems it’s being renovated. Part of our room was and part wasn’t. It had no chair and table to sit and relax while eating, only office chair and desk for computer. Had no hair dryer or ironing board. Had coffee and maker but no cups for coffee. No sugars or creamers for coffee. Had no ice bucket with cups available. No tissues. Only 1 roll of toilet paper for two queen beds room. Only had 1 set of towels for 1 person to shower. We had 2 people. Only had one tiny trash can in the room, not one in bathroom. Had no ash trays for our smoking room. No hand soap or hand towel for the hand washing sink. Had a live cockroach on the floor. Very noisy at night for sleeping. You have to pay $60 deposit on site at check in. Then it’s not refunded at checkout. You have to wait 24/48 hours for refunded. They do not just hold credit card it’s charged.breakfast was ok not really good. Beds were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was excellent. Never seen staff except at check in and check out and when we had to ask for more bathroom towels because there was only enough for 1?person in a 4 person room, when we had to ask for toilet paper because only 1 rolll in room. Staff seen was ok but not great. Floor had dirty spots and so did bathroom trim and door. Refrigerator wasn’t very clean or cold. Microwave was ok. Shower was just ok not great. Pool was clean and nice. Overall I would not stay again here even with the price.

    Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to the cleanliness and condition of the room. The couch had visible stains, one of the pillows had burn holes, and the bedding was ripped and damaged. On top of that, basic items like soap were not provided. For the price paid, we expected a much cleaner and better-maintained room. Hopefully management addresses these issues for future guests.

    Breakfast was good. Pool was available but we did not go in. Room had a very strong ammonia (cat pee?) odour. Other than the smell it was fairly clean. Large shower. Comfortable bed - quite noisy if you move around a lot it’s on some sort of metal frame. Close to restaurants and gas stations.

    Although it appears that the vinyl flooring was fairly new, the planks were coming up and were loose. Walking on them made them pop. The breakfast was not good. The only thing that was hot was the coffee. The sausage and eggs were cold as were the biscuits and gravy. Once in the shower, I discovered there was no body wash in the provided wall dispenser. Ala in all, a disappointing experience. Will not return.

    When we arrived, I noticed the bedspread was dirty. We pulled back the comforter and the next layer had stains. My husband went to the front desk and asked to switch rooms. They said no and gave us new bedding. When we stripped the bed, the mattress cover was stained with spots all over the mattress cover that was obviously bodily fluid stains. We then went back to the lobby and asked for a refund. They refused to refund even though the bed was gross. We left and did not spend the night, but did not get a refund. They didn’t even apologize when I took the key and said I was checking out 15 minutes after we arrived. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

    I chose this property based off the exceptional reviews about the breakfast being great and the overall hotel. When we got there that was not the case. The door sweep under our door was missing part of it so tree leaves and etc were blowing in the door. We were on the first floor and the person above us you could hear every little noise. It sounded like elephants walking around. Paper thin floors. The breakfast was definitely lackluster. Yes it was free breakfast but offering you extremely salty gravy for the biscuits and only offering sugary sweet oatmeal was not okay. Again I appreciate the free breakfast but it was not great. Overall the room was clean except for the sink and the pink mole in the shower. However the bed was reasonably comfortable and the sheets smelled fresh from cleaning. However they're strange stains on a decorative pillow and the couch had weird stains as well.

    FILTHY DIRTY ROOM that probably hadn’t been cleaned in over a month or more. Fuzzy black mold in the bathroom and black rings in the toilet. When we asked for our money back we were refused and told repeatedly, “sorry, nothing we can do. we do not refund customers money.” DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to stay in complete filth.

    It took 3 tries to get us to a halfway decent room…after driving for 12+ hours, we decided to stay here because the reviews were pretty good…but wrong. The first room we were given was already occupied. I walked in to clothes everywhere, food on the table and the bed unmade. We went down to get a different room, but that “non smoking” room smelled like someone burnt through 3 packs of Newports in an hour. We had our toddler with us and I’m 5 months pregnant so there was no way. My husband went and told them we couldn’t stay in that room so we were moved to another room which looked fine upon first glance but all the reviews that talk about the details being terrible are right. You could tell the beds were only remade and that the sheets weren’t actually changed. There were multiple hairs under the pillows. The top cover had blood on it, the second comforter had burn holes in it. The floors had wood glue literally splattered everywhere. The beds were TERRIBLE and so uncomfortable. They made a noise that sounded like you were shutting a filing cabinet every time you moved even an inch. We left so fast in the morning - neither my husband nor I could bring ourselves to shower and there was no way I was going to even attempt the free breakfast. When I went to the lobby area, the front desk guy didn’t even glance my way. He was too preoccupied with his phone. I cannot say this enough - do. not. stay. here. Pick any one of the other several hotels in the area please.

    The sheets were not clean. There were bodily stains on them. The couch had stains and floor had liquids spots that had dried. The facility was nasty with trash. Sidewalks and walkways to rooms hadn’t been swept, blown, washed in a while. Sticky and gross. As far as pet friendly… yes she was welcome but there was no were to walk her or let her roam.

    Cons: The remodeling was slowing crumbling. People talking and shouting right outside our door starting at around 4am (on a cross-country trip where we really needed sleep). We didn't trust the breakfast enough to try it based on the hotel. It would do in a pinch, but we won't be returning.

    The clerk was checking both me and my husband out and also gave us an occupied room. The clerk provided us with a new room but the tv wasn’t working nor was the sheets and pillow cases were washed prior to us getting there.

    I was charged an extra $10 for a non-smoking room. I honestly do remember there being an option for smoking/nonsmoking. Furthermore, unless you are staying in a casino, most hotels do not offer rooms for smoking.

    I booked a smoking room in error and the desk guy said the only non smoking option was a suite for 10.00 more dollars. We agreed only to find out the tv didn’t work in our room. We then had to change rooms and of course that one wasn’t the upgraded suite. We asked for the 10.00 back which we paid in case and of course he said it was impossible. Not a great experience and unimpressed with his customer service skills. The morning desk person however was super helpful.

    There is a large list of problems with the room: persistent awful smell in bathroom. Smelled similar to cat pee. Going out and buying lysol did not get rid of odor. rolling desk chair was missing a caster, husband nearly fell twice. Couch was badly stained looked like bodily fluids. Conditioner dispenser in shower missing lever so unable to dispense. Baseboards around perimeter of bathroom were filthy, even after having housekeeping made a special trip. On 2nd day, I finally washed it myself with hand soap and a towel. Microwave door would not shut so not usable. Soneone else's food left in fridge. Staff were friendly, respectful and tried to be helpful. Do not recommend. Unhappy that i purchased 2 rooms for 3 nights and was stuck there. Nothing was offered to compensate for bad experience.

    Although the room appeared clean, everything else was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant said my card had declined, despite booking through Hotels.com with “pay at property,” which suggests my card was run before I arrived. He then unprompted told me I had a smoking room and that switching to non-smoking would cost $10. There was no option to choose this on Hotels.com, and I never asked to change rooms. This felt deceptive. He also tried to guilt me by saying he’d “get in trouble” if I didn’t pay. He further claimed check-in ended at 3 a.m. and that he had “saved me” by checking me in early, even though the listing stated check-in was available anytime. After a 10-hour drive, the bed was extremely uncomfortable—rock hard and noisy, like sheet metal. Breakfast hours were not listed anywhere and were only mentioned during check-in as 6–9 a.m., making it unrealistic to attend after such a long drive. Morning staff was rude and dismissive, and during checkout I was asked my name as if I wasn’t supposed to be there. 0/10. I would not recommend this hotel.

    The place is clean, appears to be newly renovated, the beds are comfortable and the the staff are super friendly and helpful. The place was decorated for Christmas and felt cheerful as well. My husband and I were quite surprised with this room, to be honest. You'll be hard pressed to find something of this quality, at that price point, elsewhere. To the owners and staff...Good job, guys. You stand out. We are more likely to stay in Chattanooga again, because of you.

    The gentleman who welcomed me in was kind and thorough as he explained everything about the stay, including the wifi (which is often a mystery). Comfortable bed, and the rain shower felt great. The room was tiny, yet had everything I needed (plenty of outlets!). Next time in Chattanooga, I'll definitely be staying here again

    Don’t stay here he kept my deposit… I checked in the day before thanksgiving so of course I left to see family came back was so tired I went to sleep I got up the next day and went to take a shower and it was short curly hair all over the wall disgusting so I go to the office and ask for a new room the director of operations was there and he tells me I been checked in why I need a new room I told him the bathroom was dirty short and simple he then says well you didn’t care yesterday I said hey I didn’t see that the shower was that disgusting yesterday what’s the big fuss like just accommodate me he says so either you get a new room or I’ll just refund you I’m like I asked for a new room lol that’s what I want so he gives me a new key and I go to move rooms as soon as I’m leaving out the old room the housekeeper ask me did I need service I explained what the problem was and she hurried in and cleaned the bathroom and gave me extra towels so I gave her the room key and stayed in my room didn’t think much of it so I was there 3 nights but was gone stay a extra day I go to extend my trip and I’m told he banned me from the property I’m like wow okay cool so I leave 2 days later I’m wondering where my deposit is I call and he answers and tells me I’m not getting my deposit back because we had a confrontation like what that’s not reason to keep a damage deposit I didn’t damage anything he tells me so what giving the deposit back is at his discretion . ! Stay away !!!

    For the positive- the staff was friendly, they had a hot buffet breakfast. For the negative- the floor in the shower was very dirty, the shower gel dispenser kept falling of the wall when we used it. There was no courtesy bar of soap to use at the sink so we had to use the shower gel in the shower which…. Kept falling off the wall. The toilet seat was missing one of the mounting bolts and needed to be fixed. The floor looked clean until we found a Halls cough lozenge stuck on the floor. The price was great but you get what you pay for.

    The room was very clean and comfortable, and I had a great stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was quick.     The dispensers for the shampoo conditioner hand lotion body wash and soap for almost out. We asked the front desk to have them come in and fill them for our second night, but nobody ever came in our room. When we got there there was a quarter roll of toilet paper and no spares.     It’s in a safe area, surrounded by tons of restaurants and stores, all within walking distance. Rooms are clean, the beds & pillows are comfy, the TV is great (Smart TV with apps), the hot water & pressure are perfect, the shower head is wonderful & the complementary soap, lotion, shampoo, & conditioner smell so good. There’s a microwave & a small refrigerator in each room, lots of plugs & USB ports all over room, iron/ironing board, & you can choose from smoking & non-smoking rooms. (For the non smokers, don’t worry!! The hotel does NOT reek of cigarette smoke!) I’m a smoker so trying to find a smoking hotel that isn’t filthy & scary isn’t easy! Am very glad I found this place last year! I’ve only had the breakfast once in the several times that I’ve stayed there, but it was good. They had cereal of course, I think they had a waffle iron. I had the yummy biscuits & gravy, eggs, bacon, which was good. The staff is always very accommodating & friendly, very helpful & kind. I’ve only spoken to the woman that works in the morning at the front desk… like, I've literally only spoken to her on the phone a few times, (never actually met her face to face), but she is the SWEETEST woman & does an amazing job at making sure that everyone is taken care of & the hotel is running smoothly, etc. I wish I knew her name! Anyway, she’s amazing! Thanks for another great stay!

    The room was dirty and had dirty linens in the shower from whoever was before us. The floors were disgusting and the showed had pink slime around the shower. No clean linens in the room or toilet paper. You know, the basics. The guy up front was alright, though and "acted" surprised when I let him know the conditions that we came to. I didn't feel unsafe but it was pretty gross.

    The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean & have all the amenities one would need for a few nights, the pool is open during the summer & is clean, the rooms are quiet & safe, & it’s affordable. (I’m scared to say too many good things bc I’m afraid they’ll jack the prices up like the crap-hole chain hotels do: the ones that are terrifying to stay in bc of the crime & filth, & they charge $90-$150 a night, so I’m hoping that by posting this, they’ll keep their prices low & their standards the same. 😂 please! lol!!Seriously, this place is the best in Chatt for the price). They have smoking & non smoking rooms also & that’s a big deal to me, bc as a smoker, it’s hard to find a smoking hotel as it is, & if you do, they’re usually filthy, have “questionable guests,” & the entire hotel smells like must & dirty ashtrays (& they still charge an arm & a leg! I don’t think I’m allowed to name the chains I’m referring to, but basically any hotel chain that still has smoking rooms, are as I described), but Serenity does NOT reek of cigarettes, even the smoking rooms! I can always tell they’ve been cleaned & sanitized bc there’s no old, stale, cigarette smoke smell in my smoking room. Family-friendly, yummy breakfast, safety, nice amenities, comfort, cleanliness, & high standards are what you’ll get here!

    I wasn't happy that their computer system booked me a smoking room, then charged me an extra $20 even though I had proof in an email that I reserved non-smoking. I usually would not make a big deal out of $20 but he room had a hair dryer bag, but no hair dryer, and even when I asked for a replacement they could not get me one. Also, the body wash, hand soap and shampoo were all out! And no re-fills during my stay were offered.

    The staff was polite but the room was dirty and did not have a pleasant smell. Toilet hasn’t been wiped down. There were hand prints on the walls. The floor behind the couch hadn’t been swept. Visible handprints on shiny surfaces in the bathroom and on the mini fridge. There was a disturbance outside my room around 2:30am in which the police were called. Also sounded like drag racing on the main road all night. The last two issues were no fault of the business but suffice it to say I got zero sleep that night. If you just need a place to crash, bring ear plugs and Clorox wipes.

    The Breakfast was above average but served a bit early for our liking. Hotel staff is all incredibly friendly and caring, some of the BEST we have encountered, evening front desk clerk Susan was very personable and helpful, as was the gentleman working the day shift at breakfast time. I would definitely stay here again if I was in this area in the future.

    We checked in and everything seemed fine. We spent the evening out and came back and went to bed around 10. At 11:30 I woke up and rolled over and saw something small moving on the bed around the pillow. I flipped on the light and there were 8 bedbugs on the bed and, when I shined by phone light toward the head of the bed between the mattress and headboard, there were several more coming out from under the fitted sheet onto the head of the bed and headboard. The room was INFESTED with bedbugs. We checked out immediately and put all our belongings in the dryer as soon as we got home and sprayed down our car with bedbug spray. Ended up with several welts from being bitten multiple times. We checked in at 5 and out at 11:30 PM and drove 5 hours home. Overall a bad experience. Would literally go anywhere but here.

    The room had a smell like paint thinner, there were stains across the white walls and all the paint in the bathroom was scuffed across the walls to a point of extreme. Upon check in, the front desk agent loudly announced the room number in a lobby full of people causing safety concerns, and then once I proceeded to my room the keys didn’t even work. After they were rekeyed, I went back and someone else was trying to get into my room. Immediately left and found a different hotel to stay at.

Serenity Stay Principals and Owners, I will attempt recourse directly with you and/your property before raising up this complaint and demand for refund to various parties including your Principals.  If I do not hear back and if you do not refund the full amount of my stay this past weekend then I will raise this issue up to a number of parties, detailed below.  I checked out of your property yesterday, October 26th, 2025, after my stay that began this past Thursday October 23rd.  Upon checking in, I was immediately victimized with the "smoking/no smoking" scam you are committing on your guests that upon check-in subjects your guest to a situation of pressure to hear that the room they had reserved as "not smoking" was "somehow" booked as a smoking room.  I fell for it myself under pressure, of course, upon checking in, but when overhearing you commit this scam on additional guests as I stood nearby in the lobby I realized this is an ongoing scam happening to other guests too.  For Front Desk staff "Alex" and "D" to tell guests checking in that they have no control over 3rd party listings of their property is obviously a lie.  As the scam goes, while under the pressure of arriving at an unfamiliar property and expecting to check in to what they believe is their already-reserved non-smoking room, a guest is then solicited on-the-spotCONT'D..]

    We took the trip to Chattanooga Tennessee to explore as a possible place to move to, the price was very reasonable, the staff was always very nice and helpful (cleaning ladies were outstanding!) our room was clean not complaints especially for the price. The only things we would have liked better was a more comfortable couch and a better breakfast but again for the cost we are not crying.

    The hotel was just OK, but the first room had a musty smell to it. Stayed there for 1 night and had to move. The smell got much stronger. The bed was comfortable but made a metal hitting noise every time you moved. Had to pay an extra $10 charge for a non smoking room which makes no sense. Should be for smokers. Shower was great. We changed rooms and the smell was better but still a squeaky bed. Would stay again if they did upgrades on rooms.

    This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I booked 5 rooms for myself and others. The 2 couples that should have had king size beds waited over 3 hours for a room well after check in time because the rooms weren't ready. Then they didn't even get king beds, they got two double beds. I admittedly made a mistake and booked the other 3 rooms as smoking rooms. Instead of accommodating those people and switching them to non smoking rooms I had to cancel those room and pay an additional $30 for non smoking rooms. Only to have 1 of them be a smoking room anyway. The person at the front desk when all this was going on was absolutely a nightmare.

    I was getting a room. The staff person was arguing with the guest. It went on for 20 minutes. All the gas won’t was the paper showing a refund staff finally stopped arguing the gas melt marijuana in his room, and he just wanted another room after all the arguments. My room was OK at the time I went back to next week to stay there. I was given a room on the second floor and I had asked for the first floor because I had to have a hip operation and it’s hard for me to walk up and downstairs steps. I was putting a room that was smelled like marijuana. I called the front desk. Staff said he did not have any other room available in which other people had walked in and canceled the room because he was being so rude and hateful to them I went and got a thing Lysoland sprayed and sprayed and sprayed. I was not very happy. I felt like it was a little bit of discrimination last week. He gave a man a room because she smelled marijuana, but he would not give me a room each day that I came in my key wouldn’t work. I went down and asked them to re-it each staff member every day. I had to walk up and down the stairs, three times before my key would work that is very unacceptable to me. I think they need to fire every one of them for being rude and hateful to me. I would never go back to that place again and I will get in contact with the owners to let them know how bad their place is housekeeping didn’t know what they were supposed to do in the rooms. I asked them to change my bed.

    I will say that the front desk staff is some of the best people I’ve had to work with while also not having a good time. My room had 3 places where there was blood on the baseboards, bathroom and in the shower. The television turned on but there’s little to no service, but I had my phone so I scrolled. The room smelled of smoke although they did do their best to renovate and make it pleasing. Here is where my issues really started…there’s no security on the premises and there’s people going around banging on doors asking for money. The second morning I woke to a woman screaming outside my door with her dog and still no security. Between the people drinking in the parking lot, the ones sleeping in the lot and those going room to room looking for money I found the premises to be unsafe and without present security it’s too easy to get out of hand.

    This hotel was okay, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I absolutely had to. Requested a non-smoking room & if the smell of that unit was a non-smoking, I could only imagine what a smoking room would smell like. Honestly, the smell was the worst part. Room was okay. Bed was comfy, shower was nice, but it’s a small room & even smaller bathroom. No ledges in the shower to put razor, rag, etc while taking a shower. Breakfast was okay. Decent options, but it wasn’t hot. Staff was okay. I checked in a little after 3 & my room was ready. Took a little bit to get checked in which is fine. Hotel clerk got into an argument on the phone with a third party company in front of a lobby full of people so that was odd. But he was nice to me. But it’s in a safe area with lots of other hotels around and good dining options. Solid 3/5.

    Housekeeping obviously just remade the beds rather than change the sheets between guests. When we went to the front desk, we were given a new room...Which absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. When we went back to the front desk, the (I assume) owner was very irritated & rude, telling me there were no other rooms available & that wasn't a smoking room. I highly doubt any of that was true. My child did NOT want to get back in the toenail bed. I suspect most of the many good reviews on Expedia are fake. Other guests were extremely loud and the smell of weed was seeping into our room. Breakfast was dismal with signs posted that you may not bring food back to the room?? I've never seen such. Choose one of the many other hotels located around this one.

    Desk clerk person charged me a deposit in excess of room cost because I booked online. The room I was sent to was not ready. I had an appointment so was gone for a couple of hours. Returned, bed was made and room appeared clean. The room was smaller than expected. Bed did not have a conventional box springs. Looked like a black, plastic box. Made the old spring squeak sound. The breakfast was fair. Gravy was cold. It was pretty clean and safe.

    We booked a room on Expedia with a good price, but the reception informed us that it would be a smoking room. Upon entering the room, we discovered that it was not a smoking room but it was like a smoke room. I contacted him, and he promptly changed the room. However, the new room still had a strong smoke smell. While I appreciated his prompt attention to our concern, I would advise against solely relying on lower prices, as you may encounter such issues.

    I wish I had paid more attention to all the lower rated reviews. The pictures posted of the hotel must have been old photos as this property does not look like the photos. Part of the seal at the bottom of the door is missing and we had to stuff a towel at the bottom of the door. The room had a musty odor. House keeping needs to do a better job! There was no hair dryer. The staff at the front desk was friendly which is the only positive thing I can say.

    Check-in was wonderful! Greeted very nicely. Front desk is very knowledgeable of the area and hotel amenities. The new Beignets and Brew next door is very convenient and very tasty! Only complaint being the door of our room wasn’t sealed very well, light was peeking through into the room and we could hear most of what was going on outside. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. Spacious bathrooms (the shower head was loose though), comfy king sized bed, good location.

    The location is great. The bed was comfortable enough. The cleanliness could have been better. The floor looked like it needed to be mopped, the couch in the room was dainty so we never sat on it, and the rags & towels were stained and needed to be thrown away.     At check in the black guy at front desk was pretry rude to me and pointed his finger to the other side of the front desk that i should be standing for check in like i was his pet. And never said any thing about serving breakfast or its timming. The hallways are very dirty and when i got into my room i noticed that the floor was dirty and the bed was hard like a brick . I mean who can sleep on this kind of bed . The towels were dirty and had hair on them. The Ac was making loud noise which didn't let me sleep all night . Since i drove for 10 hours and wanted to relax a little so i decided to watch some TV . Well there was no TV remote in the room. When i called front desk the same guy who checked me in as me to come down to the front desk and take another remote . I mean who does that ?? And still the second remote didn't work. The breakfast is a joke . I didn't knew about it and since i was checking out ealry i noticed some people are having breakfast . There is barely any space for people to sit there . There was nothing available for breakfast except some packed muffins and and they would not refill. The only thing they refilled was apple joice which you get for a dollar . The owner was there and he tried to cut every corner to save a dime. Btw you only get one cup in the room. Its your coffee and everything cup . If you have another person bring your cup.

    The front desk workers at Serenity Stay were very courteous and warm. The room he assigned us was already occupied, but he offered us a comparable room. The room itself was quite clean and I liked the modern decor. Some areas of the property were not as picked up. Breakfast buffet had a lot of choices, but the food was not very hot and the toaster was not heating enough to toast.

    Clean, quiet, comfy beds and pillows, safe area, kind staff, nice pool, microwave, fridge, AC all worked and were clean, soap, shampoo, conditioner were provided, nice shower fixture, hot shower, smoking and non smoking rooms and I’m a smoker and didn’t smell the smoke smell upon entering my room, so I could tell it was cleaned and freshened. Smart TV, USB ports… nothing but positive things to say. (I didn’t have breakfast but they do have breakfast in the lobby/dining area, which is very nice and clean). This is my second time staying and I’ll be back. Excellent hotel, accommodations, and kind staff who all do a great job.

    You can tell the place was recently updated. Nice furniture and shower, cute design. Breakfast was good! However, the room was poorly cleaned. There was a clump of cobwebs in one corner with dead bugs in it, a used q-tip in the floor, the floor felt sticky. I wouldn’t stay there again due to that.

    Stumbled upon Chattanooga Heritage Motel. Going to see theater performance Downtown Chattanooga. Clean room. Comfortable beds, no bugs. Manager Jimmy absolutely outstanding. Even loaned me a outlet adapter for my HDMI charger. Rooms being remodeled to include HDMI access. SUPER QUIET rooms. Pool very nice, patio chairs, tables & umbrellas! Welcome bag at check-in, water bottles & snacks. Road access is the only negative. Must pass motel & doubleback in order to access parking lot. City Cafe is the in-house restaurant & is unbelievable! Very busy. Food OOTW (out of this world). Just booked another visit in 2 weeks. Enjoyed this visit 1000% more than a much more expensive "big name" facility earlier in July.

    Mr. D welcomed us when we came to check in. He was so friendly and helpful. We had requested side-by-side rooms online but those weren't available when we got there. Mr. D took the time to move people around who hadn't checked in yet and made it to where we could have two rooms beside each other! I would definitely stay there if are ever in that area again.

    For the price the room was very clean but did have an odor when entering the room but once you were in the room for a short time you did not notice it. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The only thing I did not care for was the outside of the hotel could use some cleaning. There was a couple of bags with garbage that other guest left by the stairways. We would stay there again if we are ever back in the area. The good outweigh the bad.

    This is such a a cute little motel. Even offers smoking rooms. Good variety of breakfast choices.     This place was ok for a cheap, one night stay as part of a long road trip, wouldn’t recommend really unless you have little money or aren’t very picky about cleanliness or amenities. There were cobwebs in our room, the remote for the TV didn’t work, and the soap dispenser was broken in the shower. They were also rusted slightly. Pretty loud around the property when we were there and not very clean in the breezeway’s and such. Friendly staff though!

    This is an old Baymont that they have put some upgrades in. The room was fine. It may have been unique to my room but there was a terrible smell that I could not get rid of during my stay.     This place was pretty cheap and close by too the convention center which was really important for the event we attended. There is also good food and a liquor store right across the street. For a cheap place especially it was fine. The bed was firm but it was really cozy. The couch was really firm too but that was fine enough. The breakfast was done, normal. The juice was way better than a usual hotel that has it come out of a machine. This was like right out a jar so that was really great! The only reason I really gave it four stars is because the room could have been cleaner. I saw no signs of bed bugs. But the sheets had some minor stains. The floor was a little dirty looking and scuffed. The shower had someone else's hair in it and there was no way to dispense the soap in the shower so I had to take the capsule thinking off and pour it on a wash rag because there were no soap bars either. Very minimal towels and not very big. But for the money and not needing to spend a lot of time in the hotel, really fine overall. Wouldn't mind staying again. The staff were so friendly too!

    Location was great was in walking distance to the Waffle House. Several Gas stations. My only complaint is the swimming pool that is actually there does not look as big it did when I 1st discovered it.

    It was overall a clean, nice, and well managed place other than there was no hand soap at the sink, only one roll of toilet paper, the room had an odor and the pool sign stated it was open until 10:00 PM, but they run us out at 9:00 🤔

    After make a reservation for a king size bed and smoking. I was told that they didn’t have any and was given a double queen. The room was fairly clean. Minus the 2 dead cockroaches on the floor and one in the bathroom. The bed was hard and the bedding was scratchy and very stiff. When I entered the room. It smelled very musty as there was no air running. It was very hot until about 30 minutes later after I turned the air conditioner on. I would probably stay at another one again. Just not that location.

    this was just a quick stop to rest during a long travel day. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice my room was. had a great night sleep to continuing my travel.
