Key cards continue to not work for two days straight. I had to get them redone. This resulted in me being outside of the hotel at 3 AM, unable to get in until finally the front door worked. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. It’s clearly not their fault but this was not a good experience would not recommend.
- 3/5
Hotel was very clean. Lobby and room seem to have nice modern decor and vibe. Those were the only pros. It is a two story hotel with no elevator and only one narrow staircase. When traveling with a toddler and having multiple bags, it would have been helpful to have an elevator. It's one of those things that you just automatically expect at a hotel in 2026. The upstairs AC must have been broken for the hallway. Their thermostat was showing 83 in the hall and you could feel it every time leaving room entering hall or going upstairs from downstairs. The pool was okay. Very cheap chairs at the pool. One of the exterior doors wasn't working with the room key at one point. When we came downstairs before 9 am for the continental breakfast, there was a decent line with not a lot of food choices (out of eggs, long line for waffles, and apple juice was colored water coming out) and there was no seating left. The eating area for breakfast seemed to be designed more for looks during check-in than actual use for guests to use to sit & eat. The hotel probably had at least 32 rooms or more (so potential of 64 to 128 guests), but the seating with actual tables may have only been able to accommodate maybe 20 people. The front desk staff was a 6 out of 10 as far as friendliness goes. The cleanliness was their strength. Also, the layout of the bathroom with its door in the room was slightly an odd configuration. Most likely will not stay again there unless we're desperate.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious for the rate. Everything was clean, and overall the property looked well maintained. Sadly, we were only here for one night. Wished we could've stayed longer. Have already booked a night at this hotel for next year when we plan to be in Chattanooga again.

The carpet in the rooms were dirty and sticky. I had to change rooms due to sticky carpet and musty smell. Pool closed all 3 days. I gad to change rooms keys every time I left my room .. observed people on drugs pimps prositutes make / female in and out from the side entrance that never locked . Unsafe environment. Ice machine not working. Very few hotel guest cars. Hotel appear to be under servelliance for illegal activity. Worst hotel experience in my life.

We had to stay in Chattanooga for the weekend, we normally stay in a more commonly known hotel but this one had “excellent” reviews and was half the price so we took a chance. Not sure who voted for excellent but it was anything but and now we understand why it was half the price. To start there is no elevator, our key card was hit or miss if it worked or not. The room smelled very musty / moldy, the bed felt like an air mattress with extra padding on top, the carpet was stained, there was a cigarette burn in one of the cushions, there was a lamp behind the couch we couldn’t even reach, the shower floor was stained from what looked like dirty feet and the walls are paper thin so we heard our neighbors all night. Definitely will not be back.

No response. Just won’t stay here again. All have to say is pictures deceive you
- 4/5
Good for 1 night stay. No elevator, but only 2-stories. Nice location, near I-75 and Hamilton Place Mall, restaurants, shopping. Reasonable price.
- 5/5
Stopped after 12 hrs in the car. Room was clean, quiet, had no issues. Left before breakfast. But snagged some coffee. Price was good for two queens on hotel.com 104 a night plus 50 for two dogs. Will stop here again.
- 2/5
Staff unfriendly
- 4/5
One of the bedside outlets did not work. Not a big deal unless you use a c-pap. We had a couple of gnats in our room. Neighbors outside by fire pit partied til 3:am. Breakfast was nothing to write home about.
- 2/5
Smoke odor in rooms (had to move several times), clogged shower, dirty bathroom
- 1/5
The back door requiring a card to enter would not shut automatically, this another security breach.

The room was very nice the bed was super comfortable The only issue I had was when I went to get in the bathtub I started the water and it was like a weird yellow color so I had to run it for about 10 minutes and then it was clear that is my only complaint otherwise everything is great
- 5/5
We love staying here. When we overnight in Chattanooga we always stay with Sonesta. Very nice clean rooms. We LOVE the mattresses. Very comfortable beds. Thanks so much!
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It was very well maintained.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Easy access to dining and shopping and interstate. Good breakfast. Spacious rooms. Comfortable but firm beds. Not a lot of counter/mirror space for getting ready in the AM if you have several people who take longer in front of a mirror. Beautiful courtyard/pool. Nice lobby/breakfast area with lots of seating options. Convenient parking. Felt safe. Staff accommodated our request for adjoining rooms. Our first time staying at a Sonesta. We will stay again! This location represents the brand well.
- 3.5/5
Great location The front desk lady was extremely rude, we stopped for a 23h road trip, with a little kids there where not sheets on the sofa cama and the bathroom door for room 237 was loud
- 5/5
Clean room, good parking great breakfast
- 5/5
This is a smaller place but perfectly located next to restaurants and shopping. The room was quiet and comfortable and the buffet breakfast gave lots of options. There's no elevator, so fortunately I was on the first of two floors.
- 5/5
The staff greeted us in a nice way when we arrived and check in was quick and easy. Our room and bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. A nice variety of hot food as well as cold food. The hallway was quiet throughout the night which was very helpful.
- 5/5
We will definitely be back

- 5/5
It was very nice close to restaurants, easy and easy off a major highways
- 3/5
The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. There was no night light for the bathroom and each time we left when we return our room card would not work. The staff was very helpful however.
- 5/5
Parking lot appeared secure let two bikes on the car rack overnight! Staff was helpful and courteous.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent at a very affordable room rent.
- 1/5
Staff was sometimes rude and not helpful, keys did not work most of the time. On a good note Breakfast was ok, the rooms were quiet.
- 3/5
Upon arriving there was one person at the desk and she was on the phone and eating. She was not overly friendly. Apparently there isn’t free WiFi at the hotel. The breakfast at 7:20 am was barely warm, but it was good. At check out, I couldn’t get a printed receipt, the printer wasn’t working. This was the first time we stayed at a Sonesta Select, I’m not sure we will stay at another.

After driving 12 hours from NJ to Chattanooga due to my girlfriend's passing. I needed a place to stay for a night before I saw her parents & dealt with grief, etc. This place was good for giving me some peace, & the room's back door helped me easily bring in my bags & suitcases from my car in the parking lot, without lugging it all from the lobby. The bed was comfy, the tv & couch helped me relax as well. However I was so tired, that I overslept & with check out being 11am, I barely had 1 hour to get ready to leave. I tried extending my check out to 12 noon, but the best they could do was 11:15 am, which in my situation, didn't ease any of my stress. The check out time is the only reason I am rating this "good" & not "excellent".
- 1/5
Not much. The pool was closed. The breakfast was small. Kids kept banging on our room door and running away. Conditioner was empty. Coffee bar wasn’t stocked.

- 3/5
The room had quite an odd smell and there were crumbs on the couch upon arrival. As well, when we came to check in; the young lady at the front desk was on her cell phone and took quite a bit to realize she had a guest. Facility wasn’t bad overall.
- 1/5
Would not recommend to my worst enemy! We found pills under the bed. That could have been a life threatening emergency if my dog or young child had gotten into it. The area did not feel safe. We think someone may have tried to get into our car. We ended up checking out after only a few hours and they would not refund. If smelled like mold and cigarettes.
- 3.5/5
There were stains that looked like they hadn't been cleaned from the couch. The walls and door has no sound barrier so you could hear someone talking or when the toilet flushed.

Conveniently close to the interstate. Spacious room. There were stains that looked like they hadn't been cleaned from the couch. The walls and door has no sound barrier so you could hear someone talking or when the toilet flushed.

Asked for a handicapped room and was not given one.
- 3/5
The only good thing about the hotel was the location being next to interstate and shopping center. They didn’t have a king suite available. I accepted the double bed suite. The double bed suite was missing the door that separates the rooms. It smelled like smoke. There was no elevator so you had to carry all your belongings up the stairs. The pool was not open. The most concerning thing was that I needed to ask for a new key to my room. I told her my room number, she asked zero questions and didn’t verify who I was. If you stay at this location, use your own locks or keep the door latched. Anyone could get a key to your room. The room was a downgrade. I wasn’t offered a discounted rate. There was an additional hold placed on my card that I may not get back.
- 3/5
It had free breakfast beds were pretty comfy They left a toilet brush in the room which I felt was unsanitary and a few hard rust stains in the shower

Location was good The shower was dirty, and we had to clean it. Our room was given away, and we had to take a room upstairs. The check-in clerk was rude, and did not tell us there was no elevator for our room. She even saw us grab a luggage cart and didn't stop us. The first time we stayed here we didn't have any problems. This experience is enough to make us never want to use this facility again. We ended up booking at another hotel for our second night. Extremely disappointing.

Overall good but furniture is a little dated

External doors didn’t work to gain access with the room key card. Other than that, hotel was great.

Clean room great hotel same with breakfast very bland other than that the choices for dining were great
- 5/5
Comfortable bed. And breakfast buffet.
- 2/5
Suzanne at the front desk was very short and close to rude to me. I had been driving all day...already paid for my reservation on line prior to check in so I should have been able to relax after a shower and sleep as I still had 10 more hours of traveling to do the next day. She called me shirtly after I checked in and asked me to come back to the front desk to pay an additional fee of 25$ after my 50$ pet deposit, but wouldnt just run my card on file. My neighbors across the hall must have been drinking for a while.. the whole end of the hall smelled like alcohol and they were in and out of the room all night...waking me and my pet up. I slept maybe for 2 hours. Had to turn off the AC unit as it was humming loudly and put off a mildew smell when it was running. I finally gave up on sleep about 4am and checked out. No coffee available and another rude front desk person, no name tag. Hotel is nice, Staff is not.
- 5/5
Parking was fine. Bathrooms were clean. Lotion and hand soap weren’t full in the room. That’s the only “bad” thing if you wanna call it that.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff! Would stay here again
- 5/5
Everything was great especially for the price! Just as nice as any Marriott I’ve stayed at. I would highly recommend.
- 3/5
Clean .. nice room . Food close by.
- 4/5
Staff was welcoming and helpful. Facility was clean. There is no elevator to 2nd floor.
- 4/5
Customer please be aware there is NO ELEVATOR in this hotel. So just be mindful where your room is,as too where the stairs are.
- 3/5
This hotel is rated as "very good", which I think if way too high and a bit missleading.
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly! They do charge for $50 damage fee, BUT it is refunded. We booked a king bed with couch; couch did have pull out bed, which I didn’t even know until trying to make a bed! So that was a plus.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great service!
- 1/5
Front desk clerk was extremely hateful. There was trash in the pull out bed. Carpet was wet and soaked our socks. Just not a pleasant experience.
- 3/5
Rooms could use some updating. Overall decent stay.
- 5/5
In the room need to be better cleaned after all good.
- 4/5
Parking was great. The room was clean and we felt very comfortable. My husband went outside to do his morning meditations and prayers and told me how wonderfil that time was. That particular area had chairs and hanging lights and he felt it was a very pleasant time.
- 5/5
By far the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in!! When we pulled we was so confused because they look like apartments lol but we loved and will be back anytime I’m in the area!!
- 3/5
The property was clean, staff was friendly, parking was fine. However, the bed and sofa were very uncomfortable to my liking. The bed was extremely firm. We only stayed one night. There is not an elevator so you do have to take stairs to your room.
- 5/5
I love it . Great place to stay.
- 5/5
!
- 2/5
Parking was easy and convenient. Air conditioning was good. Bath tub had stains on its bottom. Carpet was very used and needed cleaning.
- 5/5
Room smelled fresh without odor of cover-up spray. I heard road noise during the night and found the window was not fully closed and latched. The alarm clock had the wrong time and I didn’t find a USB charger.
- 1/5
First off, there is NO elevator and I feel like that was buried in the description. The lobby smelled like vomit. The carpet in the hallways and stairwells (no elevator) was stained and dirty. Dog friendly -we discovered this tidbit when a big dog barked for a while across the hall from us. The lady checking us in had zero personality and didn't mention there was no elevator. Our tv remote has no batteries so I had to go down to get some and I felt like it was a huge inconvenience to her. I will say the beds were satisfactory. We didn't eat breakfast, when we went down there were no eggs or hash browns, leaving on sausage patties as the only hot food offerings. I checked the reviews BEFORE booking and I they are NOT consistent with our experience at all!!! I do not recommend.
- 5/5
Stay was extremely nice. Rooms are very clean and location perfect has everything you need from shopping to dining out.
- 4/5
Nice overnight stay. Maybe a bit small but liked the location
- 4/5
Everything was clean and nice. I just wish there was an elevator. I was also a bit upset that I only had decaf coffee in my room. That is my only issue. Overall, it was a good stay.
- 5/5
Clean room nice staff. Easy parking
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was extremely clean. Had no issues with parking, and felt safe. Only complaint I have is the pool was not open, definitely a disappointment and wasn’t even allowed to sit in the pool area and enjoy the sun. Other than that the stay was great!!

Dirty. Mean staff. Not secure. Bad area.

- 4/5
Nice clean comfortable rooms that are close to restaurants & shopping.
- 3/5
Breakfast was a joke. Only prepackaged muffins and coffee. Sink did not drain properly. 1 key card didn’t work. Bed was comfortable. Coffee in the room.
- 5/5
Great stay, was in town for a baseball tournament and was close to everything we needed
- 5/5
Location was great
- 5/5
Parking is great staff was very friendly close to lots of shopping and restaurants
- 4/5
Pool was not ready for use
- 5/5
Parking was secure and plentiful. Room was smaller but nicely decorated. Bath and bed were 100%. Very nice for the price.
- 2/5
Had called for a late check out and was told they can only do an extra 30 minutes (11:30am). After calling the front desk for that request, housekeeping came to the door 4 times before the actual 11am checkout time. On the 3rd time, someone banged on the door like the police, shouted "housekeeping" and tried to aggressively open the door when it was latched. Even after telling him to come back later, another housekeeper came back about 20-30min later. I understand they have a job to do, but I've stayed at many hotels over the years and never experienced that before. Poor communication and bad judgement from the staff. Also found hairs all over the place in the bed, bathroom etc. If they're in such a hurry to kick out guests so they could clean, you would at least expect the rooms to be spotless. Normally a big fan of Sonesta hotels but this will likely be the last time I ever stay at one again.

- 1/5
Clean room and comfy bed, but the lady that checked me in was apathetic as heck. She gave me a room that was OCCUPIED and didn’t even apologize when I went back to the front desk to let her know. Not even an “I’m sorry”. So I was a bit confused about the excellent ratings. Hallways were dirty, but the interior of the room was clean and updated.
- 5/5
I was very pleased with this hotel. Very clean. Secure.Staff was very nice and it’s. Lose to many restaurants. Would highly recommend
- 4/5
Parking was convenient. Hotel room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. You could go in the courtyard and relax. The only complaint was that other guests were very loud in the hallway throughout the night. Not the hotel’s fault, nonetheless I barely got any sleep.
- 4/5
Pool was closed
- 2/5
Hotel does not have elevators!!! However upon check-in walking into the lobby, there was a portable air unit that was sitting up on a table or some object, blowing air toward the check in desk. Check-in was fast and the young lady was very nice. Room was clean and had a pleasant smell to it as well. However, in front of the sink was a wet spot around 10-12” in diameter. I checked under the sink and could find where the water was coming from. Later on we discovered that if the shower head is turned toward the bathroom door and the curtain not pulled, then it lets water run from the bathroom area into front part of the sink area. Ok no problem, just call to the front desk to have the water removed! Unfortunately the phone in the room did not work. No dial tone or anything. Next morning we saw the housekeeper and asked for more hand towels for the room around 9am. Came back to the room around 3pm and no towels and room was not done. She even asked us if we were leaving for the day and we said yes. Came back from being out the night around 1am and on my 1 of the 2 keys worked, Fortunately, we had put the 2nd key in her purse. Just not happy overall with the stay.
- 4/5
No elevator and having to climb to the second floor with a young child was inconvenient. Otherwise everything else was fine
- 2/5
1. There is no elevator and carrying luggage to the room through narrow doors and staircases is no small feat. 2. There is no free breakfast. You can get a dried out mandarin, a granola bar and a factory produced slice of plasticy cake - that is NOT a breakfast. You can purchase juice, yoghurt and a few other snacks but even then it is a lousy breakfast. No eggs, meats, cheese, fruit or cereal. 3. There is no hairdryer in the room and when we asked at the front desk, we were told the hotel has none!!! We’ve never seen this in 30 years of travel. 4. The fridge in the room did not work. So overalls not a place I would recommend or go back to.
- 4/5
If early riser very quiet but garbage trucks rolled in about 6 am. Enjoyed sliding doors in room so we could unload luggage from car into our room. Charge for breakfast so ate out.
- 4/5
Ideal for a traveler on I-75 to spend a restful night.
- 4/5
We were on 2nd floor and no elevator very difficult to haul luggage upstairs
- 5/5
Clean rooms and plenty of parking near restaurants and shopping malls.
- 1/5
Someone smoked in non smoking room. No elevator. Inconvenient. Sketchy area. Not safe!
- 5/5
Muy cómodo , limpio y agradable .

I would recommend
- 5/5
Clean room and the hotel smelled so good
- 5/5
Clean, quiet room.
- 5/5
Super easy parking and close to all shops and restaurants. Very clean and super comfortable bed which was important as we were there for a week.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 3/5
Hallway and room smelled like cigarettes, The pool area looked terrible, the lady at the front desk wasn't very welcoming and finally last but not least the breakfast! Its the main thing I look for when getting a hotel, because of the convenience. They advertise that there is a breakfast, when in fact there is not! I'm not a big complainer but, I should have picked somewhere else and will next time.
- 5/5
Pet friendly, clean room and clean bathroom, comfortable bed
- 4/5
The property was overall clean, including the room and common areas. Parking was well lit.
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Although it was only two floors, it would have helped to have an elevator to carry up our bags. My husband has had a back surgery and I recently had disks removed and fused in my neck. Also, on a weekend, couldn't breakfast stay up until 10:00, rather than 9:30?
- 4/5
East parking. Clean. Quiet.
- 5/5
The Staff particularly Ciara was very helpful and hands on.
- 5/5
Our stay was great! Very clean room and whole property was well kept. Security code for entering the building! Area behind the building was fenced in and had a pickleball court, 2 ping pong tables, 4 sets of corn hole boards. Grills and fire pits availability also! Wonder place with kitchenette and a Kroger within walking distance. 10 minute drive to Honky Tonk Highway and Predators game!
- 3/5
Beware read for details only free coffee every other. Continental food items cost & not good quality. Staff very helpful on room select quiet clean lots of restaurants nearby
- 2/5
Front desk lady with green eyes didn’t have greeting manners that should be at a front desk. I met other staff on my last day and they were very nice. Our room smelled really bad of smoke and my parents room of mildew. There are no elevators fyi. I guess you get what you paid for. They should get rid of the carpets. It’s what traps in the smell.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean. They say they have a free continental breakfast. If you want anything more than coffee, tea, granola bars and very poor quality blueberry muffins you have to pay for it.
- 4/5
Everything was really good! I was curious to see if rooms were available the following weekend and was surprised the rooms were listed for half of what I paid. Not sure how pricing works but I feel I got ripped off. I booked on Travelocity. This is a really good property and I recommend it for any stay.

Nice place
- 3/5
It’s an OK inn if you can’t find a better place. As soon as I walked in, you could smell the staff in the laundry area smoking pot. Absolutely unacceptable. The TV didn’t work. They don’t offer complimentary breakfast either.
- 5/5
Had a nice stay!
- 5/5
Traveling with a dog. Nice out door area to walk him. Bags are provided for pick up. Nearby bin to drop it in. Lots of restaurants in the area. Walk to mall. With many shops. Only there for one night, so didn't really get to check them out. Breakfast okay. The usual fare. Cereal, yogurt , fruits, pastries, coffee. They did offer made to order breakfast sandwiches, Small fee for breakfast items Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
AC was fine. Fitness room not available.
- 5/5
The stay was fine. Good value
- 3/5
Other than that, it was ok. Many good restaurants around the mall area and very easy access to I-75.
- 1/5
The front staff is as rude and very short when checking in. They e been ere told breakfast was included when booked and then told it was $10 a person. Asked for adjoining rooms at booking because of young children and was given rooms on different floors and different ends of the hotel. Not happy with this at all.
- 2/5
The room we stayed in was clean however our toilet seat was chipped in 2 different places . This made it uncomfortable to sit in it without making a tissue cover over it .
- 4/5
Room was clean except what looked like a bug in the shower. Women at check-in seemed bothered and wasn't friendly. Air worked fine.
- 5/5
Quick check in and check out. Complimentary fruit, muffins, coffee, tea. Spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Good shower. Excellent location off main highway.
- 1/5
The owners/staff were rude. The pictures made it look better than what it really was. The room had cement floors, water sprayed everywhere when you turn on, toilet would not flush and drain. No lighting TV wouldn’t work either.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Perfect for a one night stay
- 5/5
We will be staying again. 10/10
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Surprising positive experience given the bargain price. All good: quiet, clean, convenient.
- 2/5
Staff were consistently unhelpful. I stayed for two weeks while I was transitioning for a move. Not uncommon these days is the need to request for housekeeping to come and change linens, clean bathroom, etc. The first time I requested housekeeping, I had been there an entire week. I wanted the linens changed and the bathroom cleaned at the very least. When I came back in from being out all day, the room was not cleaned - nothing had been touched. I went to the front desk and inquired. I was told no housekeeping happened on the weekend. What? I saw housekeeping all weekend. I asked for housekeeping three additional times and never received it. I finally brought my dirty towels to the front desk and asked for new ones. Would not stay here again although the location was perfect.
- 4/5
welcoming for pets
- 5/5
Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel, super comfy bed and pillows too bad I couldn’t stay longer. There’s a bunch of shopping centers all around, including a mall or two very close by
- 1/5
Despite having multiple open rooms on the main floor and posting about being handicap-friendly, the front desk made us take a room on the second floor and CARRY OUR 83 YEAR OLD GRANDMOTHER UP THE STAIRS. We were also told that our luggage was trash, and when we were having issues with our hotel toilet, we were left to deal with it ourselves. When we finally got ahold of management, they offered a $10 refund. Absolutely ridiculous.
- 5/5
Super clean for a budget priced motel / hotel . Looks like it was recently renovated. Nice room. If they would just update the carpet and get rid of that and maybe put down the newer style flooring.
- 5/5
We didn't use the laundry room. The fitness room was very clean and neat. I loved everything about the property and the employees. I will definitely make this my go to spot whenever I come into town.

Great stay. I could walk out of my room right to my car. It was great. The girl at the front was soooo nice. She gets 10 stars alone lol. She was great
- 5/5
Everything was absolutely perfect!
- 1/5
Front desk was rude and property does not match ad
- 5/5
This was a very nice hotel for our 1 night stay travelling on Rt 75. We ate at Jonothans grille that was good too

- 3/5
We have stayed here before and absolutely loved. Unfortunately this time we got a room that was dog friendly. We love dogs. But this room had dog hair and my husband has breathing problems. My husband said something to staff and she said all rooms were dog friendly.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing especially Mr. and Mrs. Fox on the housekeeping and maintenance crew who are beautiful souls!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, beautiful staff, beautiful stay!!! They have always gone above and beyond every time I have stayed and I would recommend this hotel to everyone!!!
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, quiet hotel,
- 4/5
It was very nice the fire pit and the accommodating was nice
- 5/5
Staff was great!
- 5/5
Everything was excellent!! Very nice place!! Would definitely stay there again!!
- 5/5
Nice clean room
- 5/5
Easy efficient check-in. Room was in good shape.
- 3/5
Check-in was similar to going through airport security. Most places I normally stay ask to see an ID to confirm the name matches the reservation. Although I didn’t say anything because I understand procedure, I did not like having to hand over my ID for a photocopy and being treated like I was a nuisance. This is a motel instead of a hotel, especially since there is no elevator. The room was clean and the pillows were comfortable. But paying over $100 a night for this level of accommodations was too much.
- 4/5
The room was clean and very nice. Loved the couch in the room. Was disappointed in the breakfast they offered.
- 4/5
The room was clean, and it was a nice room. I checked in at 8pm, so I’m sure I got the B-team, but the lady was not very friendly. Our room keys seemed to not hold magnetism for any period of time at all; we literally had to have them rekeyed half a dozen times over a two night stay. There was a very musty, mildew-like smell on the 2nd floor hallway, and a dehumidifier in the hallway, so they had obviously recently had some kind of problem with flooding. The room was clean, and there was always hot coffee in the lobby. That’s about all I can say about this particular trip. I doubt we will be staying there again.
- 4/5
It was very clean very nice and clean. Everything was there. Things weren’t broken. The appearance was really very nice. It’s a really nice room. It was nice that it had a couch with the stool and it had a nice little. The whole room was really nice. and the staff was very nice and helpful and pleasant.
- 4/5
Thanks!
- 5/5
Great location and very comfortable, clean facility. Warm, welcoming staff
- 5/5
Terrific room with many vital extras.
- 5/5
The room was clean with the exception of the loveseat/ottoman which was spotted and stained. Didn't think it safe to sit on. Sorry.
- 4/5
Room was fine. Comfortable bed. Price was right for a one night sleep.
- 4/5
It was a good room.
- 3/5
Room was ok. “Continental breakfast” was an absolute joke. Couple muffins on the counter and a sign that said help yourself
- 5/5
I really recommend this hotel. You can have enough room space, soft beds than other hotel with the same price
- 5/5
Staff, clean, location

- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
The room was clean but the bathroom was a little beat up (the shower stall was chipped). The staff was courteous and helpful.
- 4/5
Very nice room. Clean. The only complaints I have are the wifi is terrible. Would constantly connect and disconnect, and then the room keys kept on denying me access just randomly. Had to go to the front desk 3 times to get them reprogrammed. Was not fun when it was 20 degrees outside. I would stay here again though!
- 5/5
Welcoming and room was clean and cute.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Nice comfortable room, would definitely stay again
- 4/5
Decent place for a night stay.
- 4/5

- 5/5
We'll stay again
- 3/5
Idk no pet
- 5/5
Staff was great- room was perfect.
- 4/5
Good value for updated room, prime location. No free breakfast, but for us coffee in the room and out early works well.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 1/5
Very rude.
- 3/5
The swing bathroom door made using the toilet difficult. The room was clean but smell was unpleasant like it was trying to cover up something.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Quiet and convenient location. Great value! Will definitely stay again.
- 1/5
No elevator!! You have to drag all of your suitcases up to the second floor. Would never have booked it if known. After all my years of hotel stays, this is the first time I have ever experienced being told there is no elevator. I'm able bodied, but still was a hassle and a hardship at the end of a tiring travel day. And I feel immensely sorry for anyone with physical limitations having to navigate this situation. Our room and it smelled like the inside of an old overly full vacuum cleaner bag. I don't know if the air filters were old and needed to be cleaned or what, but it smelled awful. The fitness center had a station for towels, wipes, earbuds, and hand sanitizer, but NOTHING was stocked. Big ick when you can't wipe down the equipment or clean your hands. On check-out I asked for a receipt to show I did not purchase any incidentals (something I request on all hotel checkouts to protect myself as proof against charges I didn't make since I was burned by that once before), but the desk person said they don't give receipts. I said it may not be your routine, but you can and should provide one upon request.. She got the manager to come out and he was patronizing and extremely rude about the receipt request, which he also refused. His customer service demeanor was appalling. He finally begrudgingly wrote a handwritten note for my proof after I insisted it was not an unreasonable ask.
- 3/5
The room smelled like second hand smoke. The sheets were clean, the beds were firm but decent. We waited a long time for someone to let us into the lobby.
- 4/5
Decent place to stay!
- 5/5
Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Staff was friendly and attentive. Quiet rooms.
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
Super nice an affordable rates ,definitely would stay again
- 5/5
The rooms were spacious and had the comfort of home. The fragrance in the air was fabulous! I would absolutely recommend sonesta!
- 5/5
Room and all areas very clean. Easy friendly checkin & out. Many restaurants within walking distance.
- 5/5
Lovey area
- 4/5
Room was spotless and the staff was amazing just smelt like gym socks in the room not sure if the sliding door may have a water leak from the outside but that was the only complaint!
- 5/5
The rooms were nice, staff was friendly. Enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
Courteous staff. Clean room. Nice stay!
- 5/5
Nice room and views. Very safe area.
- 3/5

- 5/5
Good place to stay and great staff.

Rooms and staff are super nice, convenient location
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff.
- 5/5
Friendly Staff , Rooms Clean
- 5/5
Limited breakfast items, few to non-existent Staff very professional and helpful. Clean and well maintain property.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing!! Room was cozy and very clean. The shower was great!!! Staff worked hard to get the outside fire pit working but no luck. I don’t mean to be picky, but the pillows are terrible. Bed was comfy.
- 5/5
Very nice sleep, great location
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, staff amazing and accommodating
- 5/5
Nice rooms comfy and good price
- 5/5
No breakfast
- 5/5
Other than that the room and all the amenities were great!
- 5/5
clean , comfortable bed and pillows!
- 1/5
The room was fine, but an all night party ongoing in the room next to us. No staff ever roamed the halls to see / hear the issue. Got 2 hrs of slepp.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
Someone opened my door while I was still sleeping. Freaked me out. Went to look didn’t see anyone. Not sure if it was staff.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Staff always helpful and friendly
- 3/5
Not picky but only powdered creamer. I’m sure the sofa will be replaced soon … doesn’t look good to come in and see that. I plan on returning next year
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Soft linens. The shower had great water pressure. Very clean in and out of the rooms.
- 2/5
I had paid for a 2-night stay on Orbitz, but was unable to stay the first night due to a flight cancellation. When I arrived the following night I expected to be still able to use the second night I had already paid for, but I was told I would have to create a NEW reservation, and Yes, PAY for the night I had already paid for! Obviously I was NOT going to allow them to double-dip on me, so I took my business to another hotel, but this angered me beyond belief! The only GOOD thing is that I had only paid for TWO nights, and not SEVEN. I felt like I was totally ripped off here!
- 3/5
Okay cleanliness, cash breakfast, tv lost signal a bunch, staff was kind.
- 5/5
Excellent stay
- 5/5
Clean room, modern amenities and friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Great staff. Room was very large and spacious. Fitness center was awesome!
- 4/5
Yes
- 2/5
My first room had bedbuds. I got bit in the face and had bites all down my right arm. I had to go to urgent care for treatment. My daughter had bits on her right arm also.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 5/5
It was completely wonderful.
- 5/5
Berry clean and spacious room.
- 5/5
Easy
- 3/5
Desk was dirty and the refrigerator was so small I couldn’t even put my food in there. Plus it didn’t have a rack. Staff gave me a rack at my request. I couldn’t only store water and sodas only.
- 2/5
Great location, but loud rooms! You can hear the upstairs rooms walking so easily through the ceiling, and it's loud. And anytime anyone turned the water on, you could hear it through the pipes in your room. Between the walking coming from upstairs and the water in the pipes, my night's sleep was very loud and constantly interrupted. The front desk staff was also not very polite.
- 4/5
Arrived very late. Front desk was very helpful,
- 2/5
This hotel put more effort into the lobby area than the actual rooms. Lobby was appealing but the rooms are not well kept. The hallway on the second floor smelled of smoke. The cleanliness was poor. I had to do my own cleaning just to feel somewhat comfortable to sleep. This is my last time staying here. Reported to the front desk but never heard back from anyone.
- 4/5
It was okay. Not bad. Probably will not stay there again. There is no elevator. Coffee was not good. Great location.
- 5/5
The motel was located right next to the interstate and shopping area.
- 5/5
Room was clean, Staff was great, No free breakfast, parking was safe well lit.
- 5/5
Rooms are perfectly fine, staff is nice, but there is no elevator (?), making it not ideal when you schlepp around heavy luggage.
- 5/5
Clean room and space. Staff just average not really friendly. Location was good.
- 5/5
The hotel itself was just fine for the money. However the parking, especially the handicap parking, does not make it easily accessible to your room.
- 5/5
Great place to stop for the night. Nice property. Close to restaurants and shops. Felt safe. Very reasonable
- 5/5
Felt safe here and the beds were very comfortable with ample pillows and 2 chairs to sit
- 1/5
Two big issues with this hotel: it was advertised as a 3-star hotel, but this is a run-down hotel with tiny bathrooms that you can barely turn around in. Our room had a noisy air conditioner that sounded like someone was drilling the wall outside. The "free" breakfast that was advertised is some pre-packaged coffee cakes. If you want anything else you have to pay for it. If this is what qualifies as a hotel restaurant that makes it 3 stars, that is a joke. Also, the hotel advertises it is dog-friendly, which may be great for some, but if you have allergy problems, they don't clean the rooms well enough to clear out the pet dander. I think there were at least 6 rooms in our hallway with dogs, based on the number that I saw and heard. One dog next door barked in the middle of the night. I like my dog well enough, but they should probably be in their own hall. I got a discount on the room, so I'm not too bitter about the stay given what I spent, but I would avoid staying in this area of town and would definitely not stay at this hotel again.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
A special thank you to Blair who checked us in. Pleasant and helpful
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
I liked the it was close to shopping and dining. The room 138 should not be used guest staying longer than the weekend. House keeping is there and start working the laundry very early in the morning. Other than that it was a good experience. Thank you !
- 5/5
We stayed 1 night it was nice comfortable near at shopping center and lots of restaurants around.
- 3/5
Because of the staff, I wanted to give Sonesta five stars, but I couldn't and here's why. We booked two rooms only one of which was ready when we got there, despite the fact that check in was an hour and a half earlier than we arrived. My parents stayed in a lower room on the first floor, but because we booked through Expedia, the two rooms were not together and the second room, on the second floor wasn't ready yet. So we could not stay near one another, and despite the logic behind swapping room for room apparently it was above the mentality of the management. So whatever. The second floor room turns out to be a hearing impaired room booked through Expedia. That is something to pay attention to for the rest of your life. Don't do it if you don't need it. So, my parents room on the first floor, had a sofa that was Torn to Pieces. Literally it looked like it had been cut with a knife multiple times. Our room upstairs was ready in about 30 minutes. From what we could tell it was relatively normal so we didn't think any problems were there. The room seemed to be clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked the AC worked so no problems. Then around 1:00 in the morning I am awakened by some tapping
- 1/5
Water pressure very low. No volume on some TV Chanels. Fridge so small would not hold a soda.
- 5/5
Really nice property. Room was fabulous. Bed very comfortable. Easy access. Will definitely stay here again if back this way.
- 5/5
Great value for price
- 4/5
Property was a lil dated but okay.
- 5/5
Everything was very nice
- 5/5
The rooms and the lobby was very nice. However, there is no elevator to the second floor.
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort, convenience and friendly staff! The room was clean, the bed was comfy and there was always free coffee and water available every time I went to the front lobby. I would definitely stay here again soon!
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 1/5
They locked me out twice in advance prior to checkout date. Poor system in place.
- 3/5
Also the complimentary breakfast was an à la carte, pay for each item.
- 2/5
The sliding door in our room was siliconed shut. I notified the receptionist about someone wedging rocks in the emergency door so it stayed open; said she would “handle it” but never moved. Bathroom curtain rod barely hanging on. Tv outdated with antenna cable only. Breakfast wasn’t even included. 4/10
- 2/5
Staff was less than helpful. We arrived and got a luggage cart to take our items to our room after check in. We walked all over the first floor looking for the elevator due to our room not being on the first floor. We called past the staff multiple times and nobody said anything. We finally went to the front desk and asked where the elevator was and the clerk very condescendingly said we do t have an elevator, we have stairs. I am not sure how they haven’t been sued under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Also, you are charged a daily fee for parking at this location. The availability of breakfast was sooooo poor that we just went outside the hotel to eat during our stay. We will NEVER stay at this facility again.
- 3/5
My key didn’t work 3 different times Beds were fine Small bathroom Some shady folks hanging around the outside of the hotel. No USB plugs in the room- not a big deal but pretty inconvenient. Good options around the area were great. Definitely not worth $160/night.
- 5/5
Good price for a night stay.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay for the price.
- 4/5
Had an awesome stay pillows and bed was comfortable
- 3/5
Nice property Friendly staff No elevator
- 5/5
Very nice very clean and a good location will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The lady working the front desk was nothing short of amazing
- 4/5
Everything and everyone was amazing you all of sonesta team for there hospitality.
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed. Closet door showed a little wear but everything else was in great shape!
- 5/5
Lovely place
- 2/5
No working elevator during my stay and despite paying for a handicap room there wasn't any available. Great walking distance to shops and lots of food options very close bly.
- 5/5
Room was very spacious and comfortable. Thought it was going to be down grade from the other hotels cause if the cheaper price ...... i was wrong. Just didn't care for the breakfast price and quality
- 4/5
Rooms and property was amazing, only downside was that breakfast was not included
- 5/5
Morning stall was great too!
- 3/5
I was hoping for better with the hotel, so was some disappointed. We were given a room, but ended up being the wrong room and the security guard went into our room while we were gone. Not a ton of room inside the room, but the couch was nice and the bed was comfortable. Would not stay at this hotel again.
- 4/5
Location, close to restaurants and price was the reason in choosing this property
- 4/5
Very nice stay every time I stayed.
- 5/5
Appeared to be an older small Hotel that Sonesta took over and remodeled, however everything looked nice, room was clean, staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Good location
- 3/5
I like the outdoor space, pool and patio section, really need updates on the bathrooms. Rooms need work too, disappointed about breakfast was told there would be and it wasn’t.
- 5/5
I love this hotel!!! This is the best value for the money in like ... the whole country. Im not kidding - if you drive thru chattanooga and need a quick place to stay, this is your best option. Don't even waste time in the app looking at the others
- 5/5
Great place the only problem was the bathroom vanity was extremely small and the bathroom light was a fan combo which was annoying.
- 5/5
Great service
- 3/5
Very nice and clean. Downside on this stay was delayed check in. Didn't get a room until 6:00 pm
- 5/5
Great spot
- 5/5
Rooms was great, bed, shower, plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Window door that you can get out right away to the parking lot. Plenty places Walkable stores, restaurants to go to. The only thing pool needs a lot of repairs but water was clean and not deep good for people that don't know how to swim or kids. Pet 🐶 friendly the best part.
- 5/5
It was amazing very clean and everything was simple
- 5/5
Good, clean, not far from the mall literally and walking distance restaurants all around as well as shopping. Comfortable and cozy, had refrigerator and microwave, always a plus. Quiet and safe. Check-in was easy and he was very helpful.
- 5/5
Great staff, comfortable rooms and close to dining/shopping!
- 5/5
This was our second time staying here, we were just as pleased as the first. It’s definitely our go to hotel when we’re in Chattanooga.
- 5/5
Nice restaurants within walking distance. Some great shopping options close by. Nice room and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Its in a perfect location to shops, restaurants and not that far from popular attractions. The front desk lady was so kind when i arrived. The property and rooms are very clean. Highly recommend this hotel
- 3/5
Nice rooms, but lacking amenities. No elevator and fee for breakfast.
- 5/5
Our crews request this hotel every time we are in Chattanooga
- 3/5
As we walked to our room, we saw roaches crawling on the hall walls. Had to check the room over, not the most relaxing thing to see after driving all day. Lots of commotion in the parking lot as well.
- 1/5
I called to be sure the room I got was handicap. The girl was haughty & told me I should’ve double checked the room before booking. But she did say she gave me the handicap. (Hotel has no elevator.) But they canceled my reservation without telling me. So this hotel lost out on a 3 night fare. Customer service is a dying art. Shameful.
- 2/5
Price was great and theroom looked clean. However, we killed the biggest cockroach I've ever seen in my life in the bathroom.
- 4/5
Totally works
- 5/5
Good experience!
- 3/5
I liked the location. I didn’t like that there are no elevators in the hotel and no complimentary breakfast.
- 3/5
No lift , breakfast not included
- 5/5
The staff was really nice and the room was clean, a convenient drive to any stores.they also have a really good pool. Will be staying here again the next chattanooga trip.
- 4/5
The only reason I didn't give this hotel five stars is that it doesn't offer free breakfast. Otherwise it is a great place to stay!
- 3/5
The hotel was nice. Convenient location for an overnight stop. One of the beds had black stains on the sheet. We were given clean sheets to remake the bed ourselves. Even the mattress cover was stained. This waa our firat time staying at a sonesta hotel amd probably be the last. Bed cleanliness is the #1 when staying at a hotel.
- 5/5
Very clean very comfortable room. Great nights sleep
- 4/5
Convenient and nice bedroom setup.
- 5/5
The rooms are great and a lot of parking space and very convenient to a lot of good restaurants😀
- 5/5
The property and businesses around it all seemed in good condition. The room was clean. The staff was super friendly. I would stay there again
- 4/5
We loved the room, very clean, stylish, and the layout was really nice. The only complaint at all was the air conditioning was hard to regulate.
- 5/5
The people working this location are the best.
- 3/5
The shampoo and body wash were filled with same product. The conditioner bottle was empty. The 1/2&1/2 creamers were opened. The room was heavily deodorized.
- 3/5
Friendly staff not enough amenities
- 4/5
The location of the hotel surrounding of eating restaurants and shopping.
- 5/5
Everything was clean, had a quiet night's sleep. Eat to talk to good dinner options.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, room was clean, but had mosquitos. Beds were comfortable. They do offer breakfast but its a charge. We were only passing thru and got breakfast 3rd party.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean, bedding was comfortable and the pool was very nice.
- 5/5
Hotel was so clean. Pool was warm and very clean. Service was really friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.
- 5/5
My family and I had a great stay. Conveniently located to multiple restaurants, mall/stores, etc. The property was clean, staff was friendly/attentive and the pool was fun. Would recommend.
- 3/5
Only 1 small trash can, no hooks to hang towels which was requested . No luggage rack. TV was analog, really??? WiFi not good.
- 3/5
Hotel was fine, carpets were very dirty.
- 4/5
The pool and courtyard area is very nice. Everything looked clean. Convenient to shopping and dining. Easy parking. Good value for the price. Breakfast is not included
- 2/5
Poor
- 4/5
Everything was good,,only stayed 1 night…had a 1 night stand…
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
The restaurant suggestions were spot on.
- 4/5
Property was clean and tidy. Rooms were a little bit on the smaller side, considering we paid for an upgraded room. Hotel is convenient just off the expressway, but in a very busy area located by the mall. Not a lot of green space, but rooms did appear to be quiet despite the surroundings. Was a little surprised that even though we are just a couple that there were only two bath towels provided, even though we only stayed one night. When we pulled the ottoman away from the loveseat, we were surprised to see that the entire front was ripped apart at the seams camouflage by the ottoman being pushed up against it. it wasn't really a big deal for us. I would still recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. I was just a little surprised that they didn't replace furniture that clearly had stuffing exposed with broken seams. Price was under budget and property was clean so I was OK with it for a one night stay.
- 3/5
Can do better.
- 1/5
This hotel looks nothing like the photos. Hair all in the bathroom on the floor in the shower on the beds. Walls, lamps, carpets filthy! They said room service came after the last guest, but I highly disagree. Hallways were dirty, strong weed and cigarette smell in hallways. It’s almost like it’s a truck stop hotel slapped with some drugstore lipstick.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean, we loved the shower head, it was the best! Its powerful strong streams made all the sore and achy muscles from a long day of traveling disappear like magic!
- 5/5
Clean, comfy beds, close to attractions
- 5/5
Everything was fine
- 5/5
The facility was beyond my expectations.. Staff was very professional down to their attire.. The rooms were definitely 5 star feel..
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and well stocked of towels, including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Hotel is very close to food and the Hamilton Place Mall. Staff are hospitable and cordial.
- 3/5
I liked this property but the pet fees were more than the cost of the room each night?? Most pet fees are $20 and advertised as such, this was $75!!! Needs to be advertised, huge unwelcome surprise that ruined the experience
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a convenient location.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
They layout is beautiful. It is very peaceful and safe. The accommodation and staffcare wonderful. Very pleasant stay
- 5/5
Really nice place and friendly enviroment and clean.
- 2/5
View from roof was of another roof and gutters about 6 foot away! Room 202
- 5/5

I canceled my reservation within 5 mins of checking in. The hotel was miss represented in the advertisement. Upon arriving I notice the clientele were not of the caliber of people I would trust being around. The room we were assigned looked unsanitary. The room was on the first floor. It had a sliding patio door that appeared to be easy to jar open. The supposed sofa sleeper was a half moon shape with curved ottomans in front. I immediately went back to the front desk to cancel my reservation. I did not feel safe. The clerk said she could not cancel the charge on my card because I booked through Travelocity a third party booking. I asked for some form of a receipt for my records to show we did not stay. She said she could not provide this request because we booked through a 3rd party. I said fine. I will be calling my card holder tomorrow morning first thing to dispute the charge citing the conditions I have listed in this response to you. I will never use your services again nor will I recommend it to anyone I know. I was in town for my brothers funeral. I was already stressed and distraught. This experience only added to it. I had to seek accommodations elsewhere which was not an easy task with such short notice.

Some of the staff was very helpful some not so much .The room was clean but needs a some repair work the grout in the bathroom was cracked and missing and the room had an odor. The tub was stained but clean. the pop can holder in the fridge was missing. The upper dresser draw kept sliding out.

Lovely motel that must have been a remodeled older chain motel. The lobby and breakfast area is quite lovely, and my king room very nice with curved settee and pull out desk. The fitness room was larger than usual and the treadmills actually work. Definitely will rebook.
