The refurbished rooms were great! Very clean & updated! Zero complaints about my stay other than the outside looking different and still needing work for a remodel. But the rooms were fantastic!

The staff was excellent. Friendly, efficient, helpful. The hotel, you get what you pay for. My toilet had to be manually reset after each flush by taking the top lid off and pushing the flapper down. The room’s door was rotting and hard to shut and open. The room and bed was clean. The remote control was broken. Although a smoke-free room, many guests were smoking just outside their doors. Homeless everywhere. It’s adequate, but if you want a bit nicer, spend a little more money.

The value was excellent, the room was completely renovated. Oddly enough the room didn’t have a fridge, microwave or iron/ironing board.

I was very impressed with this Red Roof Inn as most pet friendly motels aren’t this nice. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because it did not have any breakfast options nor any hot water for the tea bags they had set out. I would definitely return!

We got the last room available on a busy weekend. Possibly the cleanest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are newly remodeled. The front desk lady was very friendly. Nice location right off the interstate. Several nice restaurants in the area. Very nice for an overnight stay. The room we stayed in didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave, but there are rooms that do. We knew this before we booked the room, so this is not a complaint.

The TV did not work, but I did not complain as it was just overnight. There was no hairdryer, but by the time I realized there wasn't one, it was too late. Very old, noisy, A/C. Overall, you get what you pay for.

The King size room was sharp and newly remodeled. Everything in the bathroom worked perfectly and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed at another place down the road last weekend which was a dump by comparison.

Bad area. Homeless people woke us up at 3 in the morning moving all of their belongings and talking loudly. Roach crawled out from behind wall morning after sleeping. Room felt wet the entire time. But you get what you pay for. Only writing review so others do not get tricked by other reviews. Front desk person was amazing, things just out of her control. Needs a lot more work in renovations and training housekeeping on cleaning standards.

Comfortable and pleasing to the eye. Refrigerator works very well - unfortunately, no in room coffee pot is available. Compared to similar priced motels, this one exceeds expectations.

Also, there was difficulty with the door locks working consistently. I had to get like seven different key cards, reprogrammed, and in the end I ended up changing to another room. Also, many of the clientele stand out on the balcony smoking all day long.

Stayed here once on our way down and once on our way back from vacation. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, price is great, Carol at the front desk was cool. Bathtubs are REALLY high and hard to get in and out of shower, even with a grab bar lol it’s right off the highway with lots of eating options nearby. The second time we stayed, there were lots of people outside their rooms hanging out with music going and stuff and I think my bougie mom was a little sketched out. We were on opposite sides of the building but I went to check on her an hour later and there wasn’t a sole outside their rooms and I heard no ruckus coming from inside any of the rooms. We both slept great and neither of us got woken up by anything. I think I stayed here last year, too, and I would stay again in the future :)

Parking was crowded but safe

The staff were pretty friendly. There were dirty, footprints all over the floor of the room. There was some sort of noise from about midnight until 2 AM that sounded mechanical. In the bed frames and the supports under the bed frames are entirely metal. I’ve never seen anything like that but it’s well documented that metal conducts EMFs that interfere with quality sleep. The mattresses seem new and the property says it was recently renovated. I think all of those beds need to be sent to metal recycling and decent beds brought in so that this hotel is providing a good night sleep to its guest and not damaging their health.

Coffee was unavailable on the room and the lobby until after 7a.m. Owner/clerk exclaimed no coffee until 7 when I went to the locked lobby at 6:20 a.m.

There were roaches and bugs in the room. Made it back home and seen bugs crawling through my belongings. Will probably not be staying here again.

This was a great stop to sleep. No breakfast or coffee in room etc. I can’t believe the room price that Hotel.com charged. The hotel has signs $55 a night and hotel.com $110.23. I’ll be booking my hotels directly that’s not a service I will use going forward. I don’t see any benefits any longer since you changed to One Key.

AC was cool, this place is cheap but still good to be a place to stay for a night.

Stay here twice. One room was in almost perfect condition (visible gap under door let in cold air), while the ADA room had a cosmetically damaged heater. Both were immaculately clean. Soap and conditioner dispensers almost out in both rooms. Attendant very pleasant during both visits. Pet friendly. Superior to nearby competitor. Will happily return.

Our one night stay was good. It was your typical budget hotel but nicer than most I’ve stayed in. It was clean, had a microwave and mini fridge. I didn’t know about the cash deposit bc Hotels.com doesn’t mention it so beware. And yes, it’s cash only. The lady waived it for us since we were only staying one night but don’t expect that to happen.

Because the rooms were newly renovated, the facilities were clean. The rooms didn’t have hair dryers, so we had to ask the front desk, but they were fully supplied. We got a non-smoking room, but it still smelled like cigarettes. Other than that, it was a pretty comfortable stay.

The staff was friendly, the room was updated and clean. Unfortunately the location is near emergency services and several times through the night we were awakened by the sirens as the vehicles went out to their calls.

I'm a guest and I should absolutely be allowed into a guest area to use the facilities, especially if one is not in my room. I honestly believe he did this because I am Pakistani and he was going off of my appearance.

Do not book this property. Our room had an odor when we first walked in. We assumed it was because they had just turned on the air but the smell stayed. We were unable to go to sleep until 2am due to other people outside the hotel partying. Then when we woke up at 7am our room spelled like cat pee. I went to the front desk and was given a refund for the next night. However Expedia will not honor the refund even though I have a receipt stating I am to receive a refund because there were unable to reach the hotel to verify

We recently stayed one night for my son's soccer tournament. The room was recently renovated and very clean. The bathroom was a little small and difficult to move in but was clean. Everything about our stay was good except the bed. It was very uncomfortable.

There was no stopper for the DEEP soaker tub that was so narrow it was hard to maneuver getting out. Our room A/C did not work (90 degrees outside. Management gave us another room, only to find to my embarrassment that it was occupied. Manager admitted they needed to get our no A/C room clean to rent out again even though the A/C had not been looked at. Finally got another room....same tub problem & toilet leaked.

This place used to be fairly decent. The room we had did not have any mini fridge or microwave. The smell was absolutely terrible. The check in staff looked high when we arrived and didnt say a word to us, just handed me a paper to sign. Very unfriendly and not a clean place.

We had a good night's rest, but had to leave a towel on the floor to collect the condensation from the air conditioner unit. The faucet in the bathtub was not working properly. All in all we did get some rest as I had surgery the next morning. Also the TV did not work and when we tried to use it it went to program mode and we couldn't get any reception. I went down to the front desk but the door was locked and no one was around. It wasn't late it was around 7:00 p.m. All in all it worked out okay but we will probably look for a different room next time.

Too much to name-noisy, door couldn’t shut tight, ADA bathroom had a tub with 2 ft sides, dying roach on the floor when we woke up but at least the air worked!!

Thw staff was great and book was remodeled but the place had an extended stay motel feel to it with people hanging out drinking in the parking lot and infront of their rooms. It felt like you where being watched like when you don't want to take your eyes off your car or wife.

Motel had been renovated. Floors were vinyl. No microwave, refrigerator and no breakfast. Price was twice the normal rate. I’m elderly and bathtub was taller than normal so I couldn’t shower. Wash cloth was old and stained. Only two towels.

It was clean, the air conditioning worked great and the customer service we did receive was awesome! Had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back to that location.

Clean, easily accessible from the interstate. Great for a stop to catch some z'ssss while traveling. Easy on the wallet as well.

The water pressure was pitiful. Bathroom very small, but it was a great deal for the room. My husband had to fix the TV bc thr cable was improperly connected. Overall would stay again for the price, cleanliness and convenience to so many places.

The property is a great value. Very clean remodeled rooms. Perfect for the tournament we were in town for.

The room had been recently updated, with clean floors, walls, bathroom, and bedding. However, the bed did make a loud noise when getting in and out, which could be a bit disruptive. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable odor in the room, and the air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. It cut off after about 10 minutes and didn't turn back on automatically, so we ended up relying on the fan for circulation throughout the night. While the room maintained a temperature around 76 degrees, it would have been more comfortable if the air conditioning was functioning properly. Additionally, the absence of a refrigerator and microwave, which were advertised, was a bit disappointing. Overall, this is a budget motel, and we understand that the amenities may be limited, but some improvements could enhance the overall experience.

The ac in the room wouldn't work and front office just had us keep resetting it at the plug and it was storming with lightning and thunder but the room did what we needed and that was a roof off the highway out of the storm.

Beautiful choice for the price!

Room is clean and modern. I am wheelchair dependent. There was plenty of space to get around. Bathroom set up with roll in shower was exactly as advertised. Bed was very comfortable. Night stands have multiple charging options for electronics. Only issue was a shelf under the sink so I couldn’t roll under it, but it was still usable and only a small inconvenience. Parking lot in good shape, and has handicap spots available directly outside the room door.

Solo senior female , and two fur babies driving a U-Haul and pulling a trailer arriving at midnight , tired and frustrated with the day . I was welcomed by the friendly young man at the front desk . I was concerned where I would park the truck and trailer , but I was able to park in front of my door. Very well lighted and safe ! The room was very clean and newly remodeled . The bed was very comfortable! Other than noise from the highway, my stay was perfect ! I highly recommend !

The property was not as listed. The bathroom door only opened partially and with a great deal of effort. The tv didn't work correctly and the remote was broken. It took ten minutes to get the digital tv box to load and finally play channels. The room was very dingy and looked dirty, but was seemingly clean.

The staff is amazingly nice and the rooms are very clean. The price is the best I’ve found in the Chattanooga area if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and don’t need all the extras that the pricier hotels try to entice you with. It’s also really quiet for being located off a main road next to Hamilton Place.

I'm not sure how this hotel has an 8.4 rating. I don't normally do reviews of any kind but I want to try to save another person from being duped. We got in about 11p.m. The check in was easy and the night time desk person was nice. Upon walking in the room it had an over bearing odor . Kind of like deodorizer and urine. Turned on the light and the first thing we see is a roach. Killed it. Went to the bathroom and found 2 more. In all probably killed 5 that night. Too late to look for a hotel and figured there would be no refund we went to bed. The walls and windows are so thin and uninsulated that you could hear everything. Neighbor arguing with someone on the phone , motorcycle racing by dogs barking. Woke up to a roach crawling across my arm. Only brought the minimum of what we needed in and shook everything out before we left. Accidentally left my tervis of water out and found a roach swimming in it. Had a 2 night stay that I didn't sleep much for fear of a bug crawling on me . The smell never got better. No coffee in the room or the lobby when i went down. Upon check out was going to talk to the desk person but she was on the phone having a conversation and I barely got a grunt from her. Granted it was only like 60 a night but with an 8.4 rating you expect to not have to sleep with bugs.

I did not have high expectations given the nightly rate; and the room was as expected. Main issue was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom drains. My guess is that the "P-traps" were dry, so I dumped water into them (seemed to help). The other issue was that the HVAC unit, though working, was really beat up. A little surprising given that the rooms were recently renovated. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Well it wasnt bad until we were awoken by a cat meowing. Apparently the previous people staying in the room left their cat behind in a hurry to get somewhere. The front desk was very friendly did come and get the kitty and called the previous people and they were foing to xome back and get her. However then i get home check our credit card statement and there were 2 charges one for the the room and one for 24.88 that when we called they couldnt tell us what it was for. Not cool!

I absolutely loved this hotel. They treated me like family. They absolutely spoiled me rotten. Gave me the best room in the hotel. They are the greatest. Everyone should rent from them. Their rooms are spotless clean and smell like heaven.

It’s a Red Roof, so outside entry, laminate floors and basic but well-kept and seemed to be recently updated and almost shared a parking lot with other more $ hotels. Bed was good. TV was big. Room/bathroom was very clean.

It advertise that they had a continental breakfast, but they didn’t have even coffee in the office in the morning. I found a roach on my last night there in my bathroom. Also, when I checked in and opened the door, the maintenance man had made himself at home in my room. The toilet clogged twice within a five day period, And the air conditioner/heater was broken. Oh, and I forgot to mention that my fridge was not working when I first got here either which I fixed by myself by unplugging it for a while, unplugging it back in.. The only reason I three stars was because of the nice employee that worked in the office when I checked in. She was very kind and understanding and let me check in early.

This is a neat, clean hotel that is very affordable. I didn't realize that the door to the room is exposed so that anyone and everyone off of the street has access to it, though. If there is one criticism at all it’s that when we go to our room there was an incredibly strong smell of floral spray or deodorizer. Like super strong. Usually perfumes and scents do t bother me but it was so overpowering I had to keep the door open for a couple hours to the outside to air the room out. Non smoking room so maybe last guest smoked and they had to cover it up? I don’t know? Otherwise good place, good price and would stay again.

It was okay for one night but wouldn’t stay any longer. It was a bed and shower but that was it. We had a walk in shower but our friends had a tub shower they couldn’t use because the tub was so deep you couldn’t get in it safely. We won’t stay there in the future,

The room did not have any amenities...no refer, no microwave, on desk nor chair. I was impossible for me to use my laptop computer in the room. The "blackout' curtains were too small for the window, and allowed the outside parking lot light to shine into the room...almost as bright as daylight. But hey, it had a nice bathtub. Definitely not work the money they charge.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was renovated as well as bathroom. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was coffee, apples, oranges, bananas, oatmeal in packets, and fruit bars. The water pressure in the shower was just ok. But the price for 2 nights was less than 1 night at the hotels within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay again. We arrived by noon and they let us check in early and that was also a plus. If you are a hotel breakfast fan, then this might not be for you. But if you are looking for a clean, newer hotel room at about half price of the hotel across the parking lot, than this is a winner.

We were visiting for Head of the Hooch, and the drive was very easy — about 15-20 mins.

We checked in, saw the room and facilites, and smelled a smoke-filled room and went down to cancel the reservation. The attendant made us pay the full price even though we didn't stay the night. 0/10 experience, won't be booking with Red Roof ever again! Terrible experience.

The hotel is what you would expect for the price; old building that’s been updated. Room was clean smelled of smoke or incense. Brought it to the attention of the staff, but they could do nothing about it since they had no vacancies. Other than that, everything was nice in the bed and pillows were actually comfortable.
