    The staff at this location was AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG... 😁 From the ladies at the front desk (day and night shift) to Ms. Que (Housekeeping) Mr. James Coleman(GM), Meka (Housekeeper on my floor), to the staff members in the breakfast area. .When I tell you these people went above and beyond, particularly Ms. Meka and Mr. James- they definitely have a heart for customer service and compassion. It felt wonderful to be in an establishment where every staff member that I encounter made me feel seen, and appreciated. This is truly a place where the staff left an impactful impression on me. The breakfast food was good and it is in an amazing location near great stores and plazas. CONS: Although the staff was amazing, the room that I had was another story. The headboard had visible stains on it. The sofa had visible stains on it, along with the light fixture. The carpet did have stains and appeared to not have had been cleaned in a while. The bathroom shower looked very dated. The APPs on the TV did not work. I informed the staff about it, but it was never fixed. The closet door was broke and off it's hinges, but I didn't know until it almost hit me in my head. The room was very "dated". I did ask for another room but due to the hotel been fully booked for the week, we were not able to switch. I made due with what we had and cleaned / disinfect what we could. However, I will not be returning this location. I was very disappointed .

    First and foremost, the staff were amazing, kind and truly helpful. The facility leaves a lot to be desired. The thermostat in our room never cooled below 73, even though it was set to 68. I tried to call the front desk and realized our phone did not work either. Tried ice makers on all floors and none of them worked. Breakfast was just ok…

    Everything was good. breakfast was good with many options. When we needed anything staff was happy to help. rooms are clean and even under the furniture. a few things broken in the middle of are stay but was not a big deal for us and staff helped us when they can. only negative thing i could say is the pool area was very slippery and my kids where falling due to the tile floor. but no one hurt and i just keep then in pool. and i moved them out 1 by 1

    Staff, location, breakfast, parking I needed to clean the room and bathroom to be comfortable. I wiped off all tables because I could see dried spots of whatever and the desk chair, wipes/rags were dirty. Hair on the shower floor and chunks of left over soap in the soap holder from a bar of soap. Dust residue on the couch. Furniture marked up, damaged, and very old. I've stayed in modern and new hotels in the area around the same price. I felt the room was overpriced and misrepresented.

    The rooms were clean but dated. The rooms need to be renovated, especially, the shower area. I was there for three nights and was informed that the policy for housekeeping is every other day the room is refreshed which only includes: emptying the trash and removing and replacing used towels. The bed linen was not changed the whole time I was there and the bed was not made up. Also, I had to go to the front desk for towels and wash clothes because there was a shortage. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean upon my arrival.

    Nice. Breakfast was good both days. Bathroom floor seemed kind of dirty. Just the grout was dingy in places. We had 7 people which the hotel said could sleep in the room but it was really better for 6. The sofa was a tight fit for 2 kids. And 3 towels for 7 people wasn’t enough. When we asked for more we were told there were no more that the hotel was out. Overall not bad.

    The only problem I had was no control over A/C. I had A/C set for 65 degrees and it would not come off at 75 degrees. Even when temp outside was 50, I had no control over it. Also you could not feel the fan or air. Super Super disappointed with that. Would of rather had the old unit by the window. Other than that everything and everyone was great. Unfortunately this issue wont allow me to stay at this property again.

    My family and I were in town to attend my big brother's funeral service. Miss Cassandra at the front desk was absolutely exceptional with her customer service! She went far beyond to accommodate us during this difficult time. My younger brother and I flew into ORF on a red-eye flight to be with family, and she did all she could to have a room ready for my brother and me early so we could rest before the rest of the family arrived. She also went to great lengths to accommodate my elderly parents, making sure they had a close, accessible room when there was a discrepancy with their Booking.com reservation. Our family occupied four rooms total. The entire family was pleased with Miss Cassandra and her entire staff, expressing their condolences, kindness, and sincere compassion. She and her staff were amazing! THANK YOU SO MUCH! IT MADE OUR VISIT A LITTLE MORE BEARABLE, AND MEANT EVERYTHING TO ME AND MY FAMILY.

    A place to rest for just the one night. Shower not appealing at all. It needs an upgrade. Shower head rusty, around the drain looked very nasty. To top it all we needed an extra towel, my husband went downstairs to ask and there was none available and they had people waiting in the lobby for their extra towels as well. We never got it.

    The property was clean. Breakfast was the usual found in most places. Room service is every other day. When the room was finally attended to there were waste baskets left that were full. Dirty glasses left in the sink. Our coffee maker did not work and was not replaced until the 3rd day of our 4 day stay. The staff was very helpful. The facility is understaffed. Ice maker is near the elevator on the second floor. Rather inconvenient for first floor occupancy and a somewhat disabled patron. . The shower door drip edge was installed backwards allowing for a wet mess on the floor. (We installed it correctly). All on all, this facility was not worth the $180/night we paid plus taxes.

    While the staff was very friendly, during our stay we had to ask 5 times for housekeeping to come and clean our room. And when they finally did come, they did not fully clean the room. Never replaced the glasses or paper cups. Never replaced the ice bags for the ice bucket. And never replaced the empty conditioner in the shower.

    We did not have any maintenance come to the room, so we had a buildup of trash and recycling. The breakfast menu was okay however not a lot of healthy options. I would have loved to see more fruit and veggies. Parking was adequate and free. We had an incident where one of the elevators broke down and most of the guests had to take the stairs, it was fixed within two hours, however the staff at the desk was giving misinformation about one of the elevators working when they it wasn't, guest were waiting long periods of time and had to take the stairs. I used the exercise room where the only 3 out of the 4 machines were working, there was no disinfectant or Tissues to wipe down the machines before or after use. This put me off so i only used the space once. All in all I will give my stay a 6 out of 10.

    I booked a King suite and at the time of booking it showed four rooms available and one handicap accessible. When I checked in, I was told they only had a room with two beds. I told them what it showed when I booked the room. The lady again said all they had was a two bed room. I took this room and when I walked in it was 80 degrees . The thermostat was set at 74. I had to run the AC for my whole stay even with temperatures below freezing at night to keep the temperature down to a comfortable 72. The beds were small to be considered queen size beds. I'll not stay there again.

    If there was any complaint it would be that there is only one night by the bed instead of on both sides & not an outlet on both sides of the bed. This doesn’t make sense to me in any hotel. There are 2 sides to a bed so there should be outlets & night table on both sides.

    Our family stayed at this property during the labor day long weekend for a basketball tournament. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to ask how we were doing esp during breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel

    The room was decent and beds were good. The only major issue was the Trundle. It is not usable at all. It looked like there was mouse droppings on the cover. The floor of room had 1 spot where the carpet was sticky. The trundle mattress had stains on it and the cover was torn. We requested blankets and sheets to use on the sofa. We were too disgusted to use the Trundles. Our group has 2 rooms and both rooms has the same issue. They shouldn’t advertise the trundle if it’s going to be in such a disgusting state. The staff were nice and friendly, the property main areas were clean.

    We booked this room for 5. But the sofa bed trundel was not usable. Filthy sheet and filthy mattress. They didnt even have a mattress cover. Had 2 rooms both same condition. Pool was not in a shape to swim or even take a dip. Breakfast mediocre.. scambled eggs and toast is all i had and other than that u had a bacon or sausage patty option alternating. Wasnt refilled continuously, had to ask for things even before end time. Quiet disappointing for a Mariott chain to be like this. Otherwise the 2 double beds was comfy, washroom clean but can use an update. If staying here dont consider a sofa bed as an option.. unless sleeping on the sofa itself. Otherwise need to get more room if you are party thats more than 4. We took 2 as we were 10.

    Overall this is a very nice place to stay. My only complaint is that the air conditioner in my room did not work well. I was only there for a good nights sleep from 10pm to 10am. The thermostat was set around 65 and temperature never got below 75. I barely could get any sleep at all. Other than that this is a nice clean hotel and staff was very helpful and friendly.

    The A/C wasn't working in my room. They sent a maintenance guy that emptied the water pan and left me w/a fan. Temperature never got below 78 degrees. Too hot in room to sleep at night. Breakfast was average. Old outdated building. TV limited. Marriott has really gone downhill. Cleanliness was the only positive. I will not be staying at another Marriott again. Disappointed.

    We arrived around 9pm checked in and went to our room. The front desk lady Crystal was extremely helpful. We began assembling sleeping arrangements for a king with the couch and pull out bed. There was mouse poop all over the couch and extra bed. The room was dirty and there were nasty stains on the floor and couch. We changed rooms to two double beds with couch/trundle same deal. Mouse poop and people’s belongings under&in the couch and bed. The shower had a trickle while 80% of the water came out the tub faucet in shower mode. The bed skirts hadn’t been changed in awhile because they had crusty substance on them and the light bulbs in the room were blown out leaving us with the desk lamp for the whole room. We had to have our room rekeyed 3x because it kept cancelling our keys even though we were there for 4 days. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. It was a lot shuffling kids around and the unsanitary conditions of the room. I addressed it with front desk staff but they could only put in request tickets for service. The hotel overall wasn’t up to Marriott standards, the pool was gross and a lot of the tiles are cracked. Breakfast was decent with a lot of different options. But overall I will not be staying here again.

    Phone didn’t work in room. Bed linens and pillows as well as the couch in the room soiled. No hand soap in the room. Near the elevator was the pool, water on the tile floor and in the elevators not safe and never cleaned up timely. The breakfast offered was the usual breakfast you find at most hotels but we went off site because the first day the food was not good.Staff answered our issues and tried to make sure we had everything we needed. Although next time we’ll stay elsewhere.

    Overall the stay was good. The shower door leaked and there was mold around the edges. They had to fix the shower head because it was shooting water up and down and all around. They were quick to fix and accommodate what they could. All the staff is very friendly and helps as best they can. The couch had some spots on it that i used a washrag to clean before sitting on it. Could have paid a little better attention when cleaning.

    The staff are my heroes because my daughter has a incident and both managers from the hotel assisted my daughter with very professional and good care call 911 and try to help me with my daughter they was all the time talking with the paramedics on the phone I’m really appreciate that all the staff there thank you .

    The price for the room was not bad. However , i was happy till got in my room . Fridge had no shelves to put food up . There was no soap to wash the dishes in the kitchen . Couch looked like someone was there and laid on it. Bathroom floor had dirt and there was only a few towels . I had to ask for more and they was so hard on my skin. They felt like a brillo pads. The highlight of it all. I had credit card on file for Accidentals.They allowed someone to use my card for the market without my Consent or permission. Also even though you booked online and look through the fees, it doesn't state how much it was or if there is. They don't tell you until you arrive to the hotel. How much your deposit will be for the accidentals. I love swimming and they have a pool . Guess what someone Supposedly threw up in the pool and they had to clean it . 2 days being there and they never cleaned the pool. My friemd also booked a room . And her A/C wasnt working in the room . Maintenance man never showed up . We waiting about 6 hours for a fan ? For her room. Wow what a service.

    Very comfortable and accommodating, very friendly, nice breakfast, room service brought additional things we needed in a timely manner.
