Reviews
The hotel is in a great location, close to Wrigley Field and many restaurants, with easy access to public transportation. However, the property is outdated and in need of an upgrade, with common complaints including poor shower pressure, noisy rooms, and a lack of amenities such as a pool, breakfast, and bar. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, but some guests have had negative experiences with front desk service.

The front desk woman (I wish I caught her name) was so helpful and sweet! I really appreciated her willing to help us out and hold our bags and call us when our room was ready. Room was nice too, a little cramped but enough for what we needed.

-staff was very friendly and helpful. -offsite parking was reasonably priced and close. -elevator was working. -close to Lincoln Park and Wrigley Fields. -room was bigger than most city hotel rooms. Cons of staying at this hotel: -dated property -musty smelling -rooms were dimly lit -room did not feel that clean because of the age of the carpet, tile in the bathroom, and furniture. I would not stay here again because the cons outweighed the pros for me.

The hotel was in a great location to attend the Wrigley Field games. The parking garage down the street was perfect.

Great location, friendly staff and clean remodeled rooms.
- 5/5
Parking was safe and convenient, just a little confusing how to pay with the system initially not sending a QR code to allow entry then when attempting to pay online saying ticket don’t exist. But exiting the garage it just asked for a credit card tap, which is charged at full of no hotel parking pass since they were out, and it let us right out. Hotel was a pretty quick and safe walk from Wrigley Field instead of trying to jump on the redline train which was insanely packed. But hotel was very well kept and room was nice! Had a great short stay.

Helpful staff, nice coffee and tea in the main area, and an absolutely unbeatable location, especially for a room that sleeps 4 in 2 somewhat separated locations.

Great room with 2 beds and a pullout couch and 2 TVs. Worked great for my family. Great location, close to el and a great neighborhood. A historic and interesting nabe to stay in. Our room was too dark. The only sunlight came in from the bathroom. The hotel taxes hiked the nightly rate to way more than I had budgeted for. For the price, I would have liked a few more perks and luxuries.

I was really happy with my 6 night stay at City Suites in Chicago. The location, within walking steps of the Belmont " L:" stop is fantastic. I watched the trains come and go outside my window. But yet I was never bothered by noise coming from the trains when I was in my room. The hotel property, while it is older, has been beautifully maintained. The staff was professional. And I really appreciated the daily maid service.I forget how nice it is to have my bed made daily, fresh towels, and garbage removed without my having to request it.I felt pampered! There was a problem with low water pressure in the shower. But I dealt with that.I would definitely stay at City Suites again!
- 2/5
I’m surprised at the good reviews. They seem fake to us. We moved to a very high end hotel on the Gold Coast that cost less for our second night.
- 3/5
There was no on dite parking which was a disappointment. Staff was friendly
- 4/5
This is not fancy at all. It's an old SRO so the room was good sized. But it's right by the L, there are no amenities really. But the location is great and aside from L noises, pretty quiet

The hotel charged me a different rate than I was quoted on hotels.com at booking. When I called them to complain they said their rates tend to be different than what hotel.com quotes. Be careful and check your bill at checkout!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great with lots of places to eat within walking distance. A Target and CVS is within walking distance. The building is very old with one elevator which is very small the walls or thin and the floors squeak.

The rooms had bright color schemes, which was fun, and had a family-friendly vibe. There was a mini bar (snacks and alcohol) in the room, and a separate fridge for guest use. The location was great- near restaurants and coffee shops, and right next to a public transit station. A/c in the room worked great, and both the bedroom area and the sitting room had ceiling fans The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the windows was just an ally near the El train, so it felt too exposed to leave the curtains open for sunlight in the room. But the curtains were light-filtering, so we had to keep the lights turned on in the room. Because it's an old building, the lights would occasionally flicker. City noises outside the window were audible from the bedroom area.

Love the older architecture of the building and room. It’s quite, and peaceful.

Parking is available, which is amazing in this part of town, but it is not the most convenient arrangement.

The location was central to my conference and lots of places to eat. The staff were wonderful. The accommodations were comfortable and quiet. The room was tiny, like cupboard-under-the-stairs tiny. Especially when I saw the rooms my colleagues were given on the same floor for the same price. Fine for one person, but I'm glad my husband wasn't with me. Otherwise, it was a cute hotel. I would stay there again, but I would request a regular-sized room.

Check in was a breeze, he knew his job and hit all his marks. Very friendly and quick. The elevator made extremely a lot of noise but only in the bathroom where I spent most of my time due to the huge mirror built in the wall. I was worried it would break but as a man who knows he is stressed about a lot of things. Noise while doing what adult men do alone or with many men is only our business or my business. Check was great and the woman I checked out with was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
The property was very nice and in a very convenient location The hotel listed having a private parking garage under its amenities but when we arrived we were told they didn’t have a garage and we had to pay for a garage about 2 blocks away. The garage had good rates but the process felt misleading.

There is no "self-park" parking on site. You need to use a nearby parking garage. The parking garage was fairly close (less than 2 blocks), but I found the description on Expedia to be misleading. The elevator is tiny (max 3 people). That's without luggage... would be a tight fit with luggage. The refrigerator had something spilled into the handle that wasn't cleaned up. The staff was great, however. Friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
There was no parking at the property. There are no luggage carts because the elevator holds a max of 3 people. It was musty and old, the floors creek and you hear the people above you all night. Would not recommend.

Be aware you may not even get a parking spot for the stated price on the hotel info. Its 1st come 1st serve, so if you check in late (like 10P)- not a chance. Parking is a block away. Best just get on Spot Hero and prepay to reserve a spot inthat same parking garage. Loved that this place was a 13 min walk to Wrigley. So many great coffee options in the block around the hotel. Hotel lobby was out of regular coffee as we checked out and didn't want to wait for more to be made. Great Bagel Authority a few doors down is a great breakfast option. Hotel right next to train stop (Red line), but didnt hear the train once during our stay. Quaint hotel that was well kept and homey. Super tiny elevator. Separate sitting area that could've housed another person,on the couch. Beds and shower very nice. Will stay here again.

I killed a roach, there were stains on the lamp shade and crumbs all under the desk and some random pipe thing coming out of the wall. The positive, is the location was good.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful for early check-in and holding my luggage until check-in. The room was very comfortable, nice bed for an overnight stay. Close to the train and concert venue, The Vic. Would definitely stay there again. Solo female traveler.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Close to everything, walking distance to subway, tons of local eateries. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great that it has the parking option that is way cheaper than paying the regular daily fees. Very clean, rooms are very spacious. Stayed here twice and will keep coming. Love location and place!
- 4.5/5
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, we could see the lights of Wrigley from our room (this was a huge plus for us since we were in town for a game). The location was great, we were able to walk to Wrigley, the L train, and local restaurants, bars, and stores. There was nothing we came across during our stay that made us unhappy. It is an older building, so that may be a downside for some people, but we enjoyed it.
- 3.5/5
The location was great. The staff friendly. It was fun. The facility is older and the plumbing was terrible. Hardly any hot water, slightly more than warm. It took 15 minutes for the tub to drain after trying to take a hot bath-hardly!
- 5/5
Quaint little spot to stay, extremely pleased! Easy access to the L and within walking distance of plenty of things to do.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and was able to check in early, which was extremely helpful
- 3.5/5
Not the biggest fan of the parking situation, especially all the fees applied to losing a piece of paper to get in and out of the parking building. Also one of the front desk people- an elderly woman, didnt catch her name- gave me what I perceived as a lecture about how the door works. It was windy and the door was closed which is reasonable but the door wasn't opening for me even though she claimed she was unlocking the door. I did not hear any clicking, any sound coming from the speaker by the buzzer. I waited until someone left the hotel to get in. She first asked if I was checking in, I was coming back from outside the hotel and thats where she lectured me about why the door was locked.

Room was small. Our room was on the 4th (top) floor so no noise from anyone above us. Bathroom was also small and the water pressure in the shower was low, not a big issue for us but it might be for other people. Very reasonable price for the area of Chicago it is in. Would stay here again.

It had a very individual vibe and I liked the character Getting in the front door proved tricky, it seemed as though the buzzer didn’t work. We only got inside when someone else was leaving.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at City Suites. It was so close to the subway which made it very convenient, and we did not hear it. (Just download the Ventra app) All staff were very friendly and it was great to have coffee, tea, or hot chocolate in the lobby. The room had a bedroom and living room area with 2 TVS. Next door, you have a coffee shop and hot dog shop, and the stadium is a 20 min. walk.

The staff was great and the mini bar selection and pricing was fantastic!

The rest of the room was very small but fine. It’s an older hotel and reflects that. Staff was friendly and location was very safe and convenient. It was definitely not worth the price we paid for the room.

Great location, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms. Stayed here multiple times when seeing shows at the Vic. We'll be back.
- 5/5
I was amazed by the quality of the accommodations at the City Suites hotel—my suite was spacious, well-appointed and clean, the beds were super-comfy, and everything I might have needed was provided, from quality bathrobes and towels to real glassware (water and wine glasses) and a fully-stocked, not ridiculously-priced, mini bar. I'd just come from a stay at a fancy chain hotel in the Loop (initials H.R.) and City Suites was a big upgrade! Nothing.

The room had a strange odor. The front desk wasn't readily available. The parking isn't the most desirable. The room phone didn't work. The elevator only holds 2 people comfortably.

We had a great experience at City Suites. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the common space and always available coffee and tea. The room suite was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful. The walls of this place are thin and I was up half the night due to noise from the floor above. The hall spaces and stairwells showed some wear and tear, needing some cleaning. The location is good to walk to many things.

It's a quaint, historic hotel. The staff are very friendly, and the room is well appointed with a comfy bed.

Not terrible but also relatively cheap.

I miss the free basic breakfast that they used to offer until a few years back, but the all day coffe and tea helps.
- 4/5
Great value considering the location and contemporary room design.
- 3/5
Room was cold and the hall smelled like someone smoking weed. Staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff were helpful, and great neighborhood! The only negative was that you could hear footsteps and noises from above and outside the room, but that’s to be expected in an old building. Nothing that some white noise couldn’t drown out! Would definitely stay again.

I love the location and it’s next to the Brown-Red-Purple Lines El Station. It’s is well kept “Historical” property. It’s is quite quaint and charming. Food sources abound within easy walking distance. Wrigley field is close. The price is a value in the winter months but goes up during the vacation seasons.

Wish they had coffee in the room rather than in the lobby :).

- 5/5
Close to destination. Comfortable. Just miscommunication on Hotel.com VIP perk of free wine bottle and being charged for it.
- 3/5
That said, the location and price were excellent, and I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially in warmer weather.

Nice hotel outside of the busy CBD. We picked this hotel due to its location. Having the train line right next door made traveling to/from the airport and checking out the city very convenient. The room was small but clean. We did not get the room upgrade we hoped for. Lots of great restaurants around. The hotel is older but I found it charming!
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff nice. Great location. Some noise from upstairs was the only problem.
- 5/5
Great location in Lakeview just off the Bellmont stop. Was here on a long layover and had plenty of options for dinner and breakfast within steps of the hotel. Hotel is older, but very well maintained.
- 4/5
Room very good for an old building. Staff friendly but didn’t seem to know how to get out of parking. Said they were “out of passes” so you had to pay the building rate and not the hotel rate. Right next to the train station so very convenient for getting around; many food options.

The room was just slightly larger than a closet and the access card for parking did not work coming or going, which was not a source of concern for the front desk. The room was drab & nothing like the pics on the Expedia site. The hotel was dreary bordering on depressing...

Perfect hotel to stay at for a show at Vic Theater
- 4/5
Many food and drink options nearby. Great rooms. The only downside is ice cold bathrooms

The gentleman at check in was not terribly friendly and very unhelpful concerning the parking situation. The other desk attendants were not friendly or happy either. I used to stay at this hotel on every trip to Chicago, granted it’s been several years but this will be my last stay at Ciry Suites.

Clean room, was able to check in early, easy access to train and lots of restaurants. Very cute rooms, on the small side, but lots of personality. Staff was super helpful and friendly. It was a little loud being right by the train stop at night but wouldn’t stop me from staying again! Definitely recommend.

The hotel is a little worn down (Historic?) such as a tiny elevator and creaky floors, but the bed was new and comfortable as was the condition of the room. Everything was very clean and safe. I was greeted by the front desk staff every time I went through the lobby. The neighborhood was good and it was convenient to step outside, get a coffee and a bagel and take the El (Train) downtown.
- 4/5
Small urban hotel in a vibrant part of Chicago. We heard no train noise and loved proximity to the brown line. No restaurant in the hotel but no need. Tons of food just steps away outside. Appreciated coffee in the lobby, fridge in the room, friendly desk staff. If you need a comfortable, very clean and well maintained room, this is it. Really liked the sitting room separate from the bedroom, and nice bathroom. Comfy beds and towels, too. If you book through a 3rd party, be sure you understand the pricing.

Hotel was clean. The elevator is tiny, 3 people max. Beds were comfortable and the noise level wasn't bad at all for being next to the "L" station. Very convenient location.

It was super close to the Vic Theater, and a really nice hotel.

Some fun eateries nearby and we stayed here because it was close to Wrigley Field. Quaint old time building and we would definitely stay here again.

The building is 95 years old and that's OK. Smells "old" and that's OK. The location if you're there for the Cubs games it's ideal. The mini had a lot of good options. The Staff was great. Just a few feet from the L. I loved this Hotel.

- 5/5
The hotel was in a good area, very convenient to the Belmont elevated train line and close to lots of stores and restaurants, and one train stop from Wrigley Field.
- 2/5
The whole hotel had a musky odor that lingered during our stay. The rooms were tiny and not at all reflective of the photos on the website. The shower in our room did not work, but thankfully we were able to switch rooms after the first night. Amenities were few. In fact, the free coffee in the morning was out at 9:30 and there was not staff present to request that more would be made. Lastly, we had had insects in our room as well. Considering we paid $425/night, this was a very unsatisfactory experience.

Truly excellent location!! We were here for a weekend trip to watch the cubbies! We enjoyed breakfast at Ann Sather’s right next door and loved that we were a 10 min walk to the Wrigley! Will def stay here again! Rooms are quaint and the elevator even more so, but stairs were easy! For a place to crash, the best! Great water and coffee in the lobby!!
- 5/5
This hotel is amazing. Great staff, excellent location and such a neat setup! We love this place!!
- 3/5
This place was rough. The elevator has a 3-person capacity. The room was small, outdated, and grungy. I wouldn’t say it was dirty, but it needed a remodel about 25 years ago.
- 5/5
Next time we come to the city.. we're staying here
- 4/5
Loved the unlimited free coffee, nice robes, bath tub, microwave, room fridge, cleanliness. Only problem was no access to the promised parking garage.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, walkable to stadium lakefront and various restaurants.
- 5/5
Hotel was great!
- 5/5
Nice, efficient staff. Good location
- 2/5
My husband woke to having a wood cockroach crawling on his head. I do not believe I should have to pay for this night.
- 5/5
Easy walk to the vic and great bars and restaurants

Location

In spite of everything being smaller and older than a typical hotel we found it to be comfortable and had a wonderful stay. Our bed was full size rather than a king or even a queen. The room came with two refrigerators. One stocked with items you could use for a fee and the other was empty. There is a Target across the street so we were able to stock up on any supplies we needed. All the staff except for one guy were super friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful....would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Always reliable like an old friend
- 4/5
Nice additions to rooms. Comfortable sleep and stay. Very walkable to restaurants and Wrigley.
- 4/5
We got to Chicago before the official check in time but we allowed to check in anyways. We put our bags in our room. It is was very obvious that it hadn't been cleaned by room cleaning staff yet but we saw them a few rooms down. We then went to lunch and when we came back, the front desk staff told us that they had moved us to a new room because of the condition of our first room. It was nice that they moved our stuff to the new room. The hotel was quiet and beds were comfortable. The location was convenient, I saw a Target and some other stores ( if you forgot something or wanted snacks ) about 2 blocks away. It was on the L line and it was less than a mile away from Wrigley ( which is why we stayed). There was good breakfast place about a block away.
- 5/5
Close to Wrigley
- 4/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
It is close to transportation clean room

Second stay here and will return
- 4/5
Bad water pressure

Our first time staying here was in 2016. We came to attend a Cubs game. The establishment was well kept, clean and offered a modest continental breakfast. Our most recent stay was for the same reason. We love the Cubs and this establishment is a comfortable walking distance to Wrigley. There was no continental breakfast, it was dated and ran down. There were 4 guests on the reservation but only 3 towels in the room. If you are looking for a close place that is “ok” this will do but it definitely was not worth the $2000+ that was paid for 3 nights.
- 3/5
The location is definitely convenient—right by the train and close to Wrigley Field. But the hotel itself feels very dated. The building is old, and there was a strange smell throughout. My room didn’t have central air, just an old AC unit in the window. The staff was nice, and it was clean and ok.
- 5/5
I loved everything about those hotel and how close it was to Wrigley Field. However. The parking could be easier to find, and maybe even discounted for the price of the room.
- 5/5
There is a beautiful communal living area in the hotel with free tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc 24 hours and day. I kindly received a room upgrade to a suite which was great it had everything you could wish for. Overall this was an excellent 4 night stay and I would certainly return.

Amazing location
- 4/5
The suite and bathroom were comfortable, very up to date and clean. It suited our needs perfectly. Great location for stores/restaurants and walking distance to the lake, Lincoln Park Zoo and Wrigley Field. The immediate area around the hotel shows a lot of use mainly because of the L station being next door, but it felt safe. Go over a block to see lovely older buildings and trees. I'd definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Close to Wrigley, but VERY EXPENSIVE!!
- 4/5
Parking was $30ish, right around the corner and we had no issue. Several coffee & quick food options right there, and obviously the train is very close. The hotel was surprisingly quiet given the location, at least until it got busier on Friday. The gym is also offsite, but well worth the 5 minute walk. Beautiful, new, largely empty.
- 3/5
This is an older hotel located in a residential neighborhood. Location was great to walk to Wrigley field. It is an older facility with window AC in our room. Beds were good, it was safe and clean.
- 3/5
Worst WiFi of any hotel I’ve stayed in
- 4/5
Nice vibe. Great location! The room was big enough for four of us to be comfortable. It was a pleasant stay
- 4/5
It was very clean. Good for the price and location, however they did not get the note about the late check out. They also provide snacks and drinks and it’s very misleading because you have to pay for them if you take them from the room you’re in. Overall a good experience though.
- 5/5
Right next to the L Train and yet did not hear it while sleeping! Will be back!!
- 3/5
I think the property could use an update. Staff were pleasant. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. The outlet in the bathroom did not work which was not ideal while getting ready. I paid for a queen size bed but was slotted a room with 2 full size beds. The location was convenient.
- 3/5
Convenient proximity to Lake View. Was helping move my son into a new apt down the street. Rooms are very dated. Bathtub drain was clogged. Good value if you don’t want to stay downtown at big brand hotel
- 4/5
There really isn't anywhere to park that's affordable and safe nearby. We had to put our car in a public lot for $28 a day that was over a mile away. We had to pay to take the El to and from our car.
- 5/5
friendly staff , good location and very clean.
- 5/5
Stay was perfect. We were able to get into the room a couple of hours early, which was a blessing after a long drive in. Front desk staff was efficient and friendly, and the lobby is beautiful. Free coffee and tea all day was wonderful. The room was large, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The whole hotel is nicely decorated with artworks. Our only minor quibble was the shower water pressure was weak and though there were a ton of outlets in the room, all were in inconvenient locations not near furniture, so we charged our phones on the floor and had to get creative with a CPAP machine. All in all, we would 100% stay here again. We had a great stay.
- 4/5
Place is nice. Extra charge for everything including water.
- 5/5
Great location and hotel.
- 1/5
You dont pay what was on your itinerary and the pics of the rooms are not what you get
- 3/5
Just was not what I was expecting for the price.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay for a Cubs game. Loved the walkability. Felt very safe. Listing needs updated. They do not have parking, nor do they serve breakfast. Nice little hotel though.
- 3/5
The room and bathroom to small
- 3/5
Location was good. Was able to park our car and walk to everything we wanted to do. Room was noisy with every step, was weathered, and did not feel very clean.
- 3/5
Everything was ok, my room didn’t get very cold due to the placement of the dresser/ac unit. Water pressure was extremely weak. But overall not a terrible stay by any means
- 4/5
The hotel was nice and the staff friendly. We enjoyed our stay. We weren't find of the bed, it was a bit lumpy and bouncy. The only real issue was that we were checking out the morning of the pride parade. The city had 8 foot fencing between the sidewalk/ hotel and the road. There was no way to pull up to the door to load luggage or return the parking pass. I questioned the front desk what we should do, and the answer was, "I don't know.". I told them I'd walk my luggage around the block to the parking garage (which was very inconvenient) and mail them the parking pass. They said they'd charge me an extra $75 for that. Ended up dragging all our luggage to the garage, driving to the front door outside the fence, then calling the hotel to come get the pass. The parade and fences happen every year. They really need to have a procedure in place for dealing with that kind of thing.
- 3/5
Close to Wrigley Field. No on site parking.
- 4/5
I attended a concert at Wrigley Field, and the hotel’s convenient location near the subway was definitely a plus. However, the hotel had a noticeable musty odor, and many of the facilities appeared dated. Additionally, if you arrive later in the evening, parking passes are no longer available, so securing your own parking is necessary.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet hotel
- 2/5
I didn’t like that when i took a shower there was no water pressure, lukewarm water. I was supposed to have a queen and they gave me a full
- 5/5
This is a boutique hotel with character.
- 4/5
The location can’t be beat: it’s so convenient to the ballpark, concerts and good restaurants. I was on the top floor, facing the alley, so my room was quiet. The room layout isn’t great, but it was adequate as a solo traveler. It was nice to have two fridges: one was minibar-stocked, but the other was empty, so I could use it to keep drinks and snacks cold that I’d brought with me. Reception was always attended and helpful.

The bed is not a queen as listed; it is a full sized bed. The site said there was “on site parking” and there is not. We had to park in a public garage a block away. The staff did not tell us they were adding $100 fee to our bill as a hold. We paid over $350 for this room through Expedia and now the price is $230. Big waste of money.
- 4/5
Super stay during NU graduation. Comfy room and friendly staff. Good breakfast for onl $10. Close to lots of dining and the lake. Easy uber to NU.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff! Excellent accomodations! Will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot coffee, tea and water in the lobby are a nice touch. Great location.
- 5/5
Place was really nice. Staff were friendly and everything was in walking distance from hotel. Had the best sleep in a while in their soft beds. Will make a return visit and highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great hotel to stay. I will be coming back again!
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Our flight was delayed, but the night manager was wonderful about getting us checked in remotely and having the room ready for us. I would say 7 blocks from Wrigley Stadium which is a nice buffering distance while remaining totally walkable.
- 5/5
Ok here's my review
- 2/5
We did like how close we were to everything. Other than that, first impressions mean a lot to me. The customer service was trash on her part. We will not booking to stay here ever again.
- 2/5
Not great. Very musty/dank.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable. Older hotel
- 5/5
Outdated building, but that’s kind of the vibe. Stay was perfect for my young family of 5. Room felt clean for the date of the building. Amazing location! Seemed quiet even though it’s right next to the train. We walked to wrigley twice and the kids didn’t seem to complain (which is huge) lol food and shopping all right there. The staff all seemed very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend
- 4/5
The place and room was good. It was older than I thought and there’s no parking! You have to park in a nearby parking garage. You can hear people walking above you and people talking in the hallway.
- 5/5
Convenient location for our events
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet hotel! Great location for catching a concert at Wrigley! Friendly staff

Smelly, dirty, old and noisy. Won’t stay again.
- 5/5
A great location close to a lot. Belmont Station is next door but does NOT create a noise issue. Would definitely stay again. A great value.
- 5/5
It was nice . Exactly advertised
- 5/5
The separate sleeping and living area.
- 5/5
Such a great place to stay! Suite was much bigger than expected and very clean. Hotel is convenient and has easy access to the red line. I will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Cool place to stay. Good options for places to eat and go out and have fun. Room comfy and beds are nice. Parking is expensive, but oh well. It is pretty much everywhere in Chicago. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The room was smaller than expected but that is ok as we don’t spend much time in the room. The hotel was very quiet and the location was perfect for going to a Cubs game!
- 3/5
The location was perfect. They do not have parking as it states. The room looks nothing like the pictures. There was no air circulation, so it was pretty hot in the room. The fridge was packed with stuff to buy, so there is no room for personal snacks and my fridge was barely working.
- 5/5
The location is wonderful. Great access right next to the L train. Walking distance to Wrigley and lakefront. The staff was absolutely wonderful.
- 5/5
The hotel was super cute!! The doors from the street lock at night time so you need to use your room key to get it. It is an older building but very clean. It was extremely convenient for us as we were there to see a show at the vic, right around the corner. It is within walking distance to the L, multiple places to eat, a tattoo/piercing shop, grocery store, a target, and many coffee places.
- 3/5
Also, the traffic in Lincoln Park is crazy so if you are doing any activities north of the river, I would stay over there.
- 3/5
It was clean but the smell in the room was like they dumped an entire canister of carpet fresh on the carpet. It was over bearing.
- 5/5
It was right around the corner from the Vic theater and within walking distance of multiple bars and restaurants
- 5/5
Great place for our short visit. Didn’t like parking garage that was available because we had a hard time getting back into it and elevator didn’t work
- 1/5
The location is all this hotel has going for it. There is limited security to enter, the elevator barely fits one person, it is old and not well-maintained, the common areas smell, the rooms are dirty with broken windows and furniture you don't feel comfortable sitting on without 2 layers of clothing, I couldn't bring myself to take a shower and didn't want to take my shoes off even to sleep. Not even motel quality.
- 4/5
It was an easy walk to Wrigley Field.
