    The Four Seasons Chicago is a classic. Great luxury hotel where you'll have terrific stay. Staff unfailingly polite and helpful. The price corresponds, so don't be surprised. Only concerns is that the room decor seems a bit '90s and is starting to feel a touch dated.

    This is a tough one as we enjoyed the property and staff but it did not live up to a 4 or higher star rating hotel - staff did not change feather pillows and sheets until day #2 as we requested in advance and, of course, we had allergic reactions, they did apologize, but considering their rates and the plethora of other hotels we have had better experiences. We loaded our own bags in a cart when we arrived and we had to have a door person take them up to our room because it is physically impossible to do it on our own. Otherwise they would help you get into your Ubers. The pool is chaos with children during the holidays so avoid this I’d you are staying as adults. It also was not clean in many areas of the room and there is no fridge to store food when you come back from expensive meals every night and a lot of food left in the room was thrown away by staff - the only fridge is pressure sensored to automatically charge you for things we and likely most guests do not want. The room service was fantastic and the food was great! May stay again, now that we know what to expect we may not.

    It was our 25th wedding anniversary and I had to take a freezing shower because their hot water was not working! We also tried ordering room service for a romantic breakfast and no one ever answered or the phones were t working. I had to download the app to talk to someone and they didn’t seem to care. The other luxury hotels I’ve stayed treat their guests right.

    Extremely disapointing Service. Room was not ready by the "guaranteed" 3pm check in time (even after asking for an early check in and physically being at the check in desk at 1:30). We understood early check in was not certain, but room was not available at 3pm and no communicatiion was sent to us. I want to the check in desk after 3 and they said room was still not available. I had to strongly suggest they find an alternatiive room for us to check into (since we had plans) and they gave us one. I don't feel I should have needed to do this. We waited at the lobby bar for our room to be ready and the bar double charged us. I emailed the property about fixing the charge and they have not responged. For the cost of a room at this property the service was not acceptable. I recommend staying at a different property than this location.

    The property and staff can NOT be beat. From the minute you walk in you feel the energy of good service and a beautiful place to stay.     This particular hotel has seen better days. I stayed here 25 years ago when the hotel was literally “over the top.” It was an unforgettable trip with young children. This hotel has declined significantly. The linens are luxurious. I appreciated the update grade when I learned the gym was under renovation.

    I’ve been staying at this Chicago-FS for nearly a decade, but my loyalty was not rewarded. My room and towels were dirty. Room service and housekeeping were inattentive and glacially slow. During my weekend, they messed up every single breakfast order. A delivery of ice (which you’re not allowed to get for yourself) takes 45 minutes! Food lingers in the hallways overnight. This FS appears to be currently understaffed and under-managed. Sad turn of events.

    I loved it all. Brought my 5 year old grandson Mateo and they catered to him including their kid room key card , a treasure chest choice, a hat and stuffed animal and his own kid sized robe. He spilled some food in restaurant and we apologized profusely, but they waved it off saying they were family friendly. Loved the pool, loved the hot tub, loved how kind and friendly staff was

    The lobby was great clean, the room moldy smell very outdated. I expected Four Seasons to rival Ritz but unfortunately this particular building doesn’t even come close! Very very disappointing! The room was not ready I checked in about 40 mins late and even then there weren’t any towels in the room. Crew had left their phones and cleaning bags in the room as well as some lost and found items! I would not suggest it

    It started out pretty lousy. The sleeper sofa in the suite was broken and we were moved to another suite. Unfortunately it did not have time to cool down and the first night was very hot. The staff was amazing however. They went above and beyond to make up for the bad circumstances. I can’t say enough about Mason and the other staff.

    The hotel was beautiful and the staff was lovely and welcoming. We had in-room dining for breakfast and it was delicious and on time. We also visited the pool area which had been recently renovated and that was lovely as well. However, the room we were in was noisy all throughout our stay. It was not the best weather so each time the wind blew outside, it sounded as if something was in our vent and banging on the door. We spoke to the front desk about it and they said it was due to the weather- and being on such a high floor. And also that it would stop as the weather cleared up. Well the weather cleared up, but the old rickety ship sounds did not. All through the night. We spoke with another guest leaving who stayed on the floor below us and they did not experience the same thing. I would not expect for the price of a room, for it to be so noisy and sound like it needed renovations. When we come to Chicago, we stay at 5 star hotels but we will not be returning to this one. I wish more had been done or we had been offered a new room. I cannot believe each room makes that noise- in the Windy City no less!! No one would stay there as you cannot sleep!! Unfortunate as everything else was lovely

    Entered the my room to a welcome note to the a different guest and macarons so stale they hurt my teeth when I bit into one. Mini Fridge auto locked before checkout so I could get my food i left in there out. Just seems like $1000 a night would get better attention to details like that.

    This is the BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Irena and Angel some of the most amazing professional kind pros in the hospitality world. The property and service are elite not good elite.     It was clean and great view. I reserved lake view with bath tab. However The room didn’t have bath tub thus hotel changed the room for me but it was no lake view . Then hot changed the 3rd room to me with lake view and bad tub but the there is some additional curtain at the window. I couldn’t enjoy the lake view with wide window .

    Stunning lobby and dining area. Request for a microwave was accommodated. I would prefer daily cleaning as I didnt sign up to the "green program", so would expect fresh towels and linen daily, except I choose not to.

    A stay at the Four Seasons is a luxurious experience, expensive but worth it. The facilities at the Chicago location offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy downtown area. The (city) views from the south facing side of the building are amazing. nothing whatsoever.

    The customer service was also top notch, all staff were so very helpful and friendly. The reason my rating was four stars was solely because of the room cleanliness. The headboard had awful smudges on the wood borders, the counter tops, menu, nespresso machine, dresser, and night stands were awfully dusty with ring water stains and crumbs of some sort, and the mirrors had all kinds of splotches.

    Everyone and everything was absolutely amazing! The staff was SO very helpful, and extremely kind and patient with my 5 yr old! The property is beautiful, and the room was fantastic. My kiddo loved the lake view! Would absolutely recommend!!

    The suite was very pleasant and super clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linens. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast and evening cocktails in the Acorn restaurant with attentive and friendly bar and wait staff. The spa, pool and gym are very nice, albeit the pool/hot-tub needing greater supervision with so many children staying at the hotel over the long weekend (President's Day). We look forward to returning to the hotel on our next visit to Chicago.

    Lighting in the seating area wasn't quite conducive/bright enough for working at night (3201). Suprised to see mildew/mold where shower door meets wall, some dusty baseboards, not quite the 4 season level of cleanliness I'd expect. Pool/area and spa were great, restaurant as well.

    We had the most incredible stay at the Four Seasons Chicago. The staff, service, dining and spa were simply impeccable. As part of our extended honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly magical, including sending up a complimentary bottle of champagne and strawberries for us to enjoy in our room.     I’ve stayed at this four season and many others, and this trip was disappointing. Several mistakes, oversights, and incorrect orders. And the amenities are overly congested, elevator was broken, steam room was not clean, spa showers had broken shelves — not the four season level.
