This hotel we perfect for us! The suite was a nice size for 5 girls. The staff was excellent. the location was prime and the building was clean and well kept. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. The only slight complaint was the pull out sofa bed wasn't very comfortable. if you don't have any one staying on it, then its not a problem. The rooms were great otherwise. They do offer the option of a roll away bed as well.

Lo único que no me gusto es que después de quedarnos 10 noches no nos quieren dar un late check out

Location, the view, friendly staff, the pool hours, the room and the extra couch bed. None

Close proximity to everything Ran out of bottled water

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. I would, however, suggest alternating filling the coffee urns at different times to avoid a line. I would also like to see fresh cut fruit like the picture instead of bananas and apples Everything was great. You had fast elevators. The first night we had to request fans because it was extremely warm in the room. Brought up asap. When I spoke to the front desk I was surprised to learn that they could in fact open the windows. He was in the room in less than five minutes which made sleeping much better,

My wife and I have spent the last three birthdays of hers at this hotel and we loved it each time! The staff was so helpful and they made us feel welcome!

Breakfast was great! Including having gluten-free bread if you ask... the location was wonderful, we walked everywhere. Maybe some cheese or salsa to put on the eggs.

Breakfast staff were so friendly and welcoming. Very good food. Couch in room was desperately needing to be replaced tho. Great view and loved having the home away from home feel during a vacation with kitchen separate bedroom

Lacey was amazing! She made our family feel so welcome & took good care of us. There's no doubt that this hotel needs updating but it's clean & spacious. It's also in a great location!

Con: --Absurdly limited TV- poor selection of channels, can't see more than what's on within the hour; disingenuous to promote offering of Netflix when it only means ability to access one's own paid Netflix; frequent freezing required frequent rebooting --Unreliable Wi-Fi, connection with no internet access on some devices (not a problem anywhere else in Chicago), required frequent reconnections --Alarm clock totally unreliable, it would show correct time but an hour later would be off by an hour, difficult to reset --Huge bathroom but utterly inadequate counter space (put in a shelf!) --Inconsistent replenishment: after each room refresh had to call to replace coffee, dishwasher soap, correct number of bath towels; missed a scheduled room refresh --No one on staff seemed to have any knowledge of area whatsoever, like they had teleported in from Mars- worst was, calling from Grand and Wabash for walking directions (one block away, as it turned out), I was advised to call an Uber(!); in 6 calls for instructions to get to hotel from O'Hare got 6 different answers, two of them wildly incorrect --Full length mirror placed so full length view impossible

The location is outstanding. It’s invaluable. The staff in the breakfast area were also super friendly and talkative, always trying to help customers. There was a Mexican girl, who was so sweet, nice, and professional. I think the guy named Jeremiah deserves a shoutout!! I had the studio room and it was big and comfortable. There is a cleaning service every day, which was also nice! The view was awesome The variety and quality of the breakfast could be better. The front desk staff was always annoyed if you had questions… Had some issues with the Wi-Fi connection, but overall it was good. The shower was bad, I meant the water pressure was low. I wouldn't say it's a Hilton-style hotel
- 5/5
Great property in an awesome location. If you like to be in the center of most of it and can walk 2-3 miles this is the place for you. The only issue is the spot to take advantage of valet marking is limited. I had to drive around the block two or 3 times until a spot opened up. It was three or 4 cars from the front door but the valet brought out a wheeled travel cart to carry the luggage. The weekend is jammed back. We left on a monday and there was all the spaces you wanted. The rooms were great, They were large and very spacious. One day the breakfast had make your own waffles. The potatoes were very salty. They were very nice at letting the breakfast buffet to be open a few minutes are the closing time.

The breakfast options were okay but not really breakfast I’m use to coming to Homewood suites and getting bigger variety , the room was perfect we loved it we had a really nice view the room was very clean and neat , staff treated us very well also ❤️

I stayed 3 nights, they didn’t clean my room on 2nd day. Breakfast was boring, they had waffles on Friday but not on Saturday and Sunday. The location is convenience, nearby train station and Michigan St., which is the Main Street.
- 5/5
I was super happy with my stay and Kay at the front desk was super helpful and very friendly. We absolutely loved her! She definitely made our experience memorable. The hotel itself is close to everything and not far from downtown. Loved the location. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome hotel, great staff.....
- 4/5
This hotel is in a fantastic location, which is what I loved best about it! It was relatively quiet, except the occasional traffic noise, which is normal in any big city. The bed was just alright, but the pillows were very soft! When I arrived, the room felt stuffy. We adjusted the thermostat and that fixed it. The room was mostly clean, but the wallpaper was not. Whatever wallpaper they used absorbed whatever splash of liquid it was. Overall, I would stay here again!
- 5/5
It is all soo good.we had enjoyed a lot

The staff were GREAT!
- 1/5
Expedía completely dropped the ball and ruined our 10 year anniversary. I had to have them change the dates which I have confirmation number and everything. When we got to the hotel they said they didn’t have vacancy. I call another agent who just flat out lied that he called the front desk bc I was standing at the front desk and when I tried to get home to talk to the hotel agent he just hung up on me. We had to book a completely different hotel. Lost our business.

Breakfast every morning was good! Very friendly staff and they made sure we didn’t run out of anything. We stayed in the corner king bed suite and we loved it, perfect for the three of us and it had a fold out couch. The views were beautiful! Housekeeping did a great job at cleaning our room every day. If you want ice you gotta call front desk though so someone will bring it to you. Pool and gym were nice and on the top level even more great views! Great location as well. No complaints here!

Wish breakfast started earlier on weekends

Very clean and much cheaper than the Marriott across the street. I came for a conference at the Marriott, and stayed here instead. Breakfast staff was awesome, so was the late night maintenance guy and security staff.

The room was clean and spacious. Great location with food nearby. Guest services was extremely accommodating The pool was on the colder side and the first time I had went to visit with my son a group of older/younger kids that were traveling together were being extremely loud and cussing in front of the smaller children repeatedly after being asked to stop

It happened to be a warmer weekend so we turned on the AC, except because the system wasn’t switched over yet, our room was incredibly hot when we returned because it was actually the heat running. Notice about this would be helpful. Service did come and open windows for us, so that helped.
- 4/5
Breakfast was very good. Rooms are pretty clean, they changed sheets daily. Overall good experience
- 5/5
i liked it
- 5/5
Amazing property and friendly staff. The location is incredible
- 4/5
The property, staff, and valet was nice. Biggest and only complaint was the wait times for elevators. We were on the 17th floor and some waits going up or down the elevators were at minimum 5 minutes and were up to 15 minutes. At one point I had to drag my 3 and 6 year old down 17 flights of stairs to catch an uber on time. Outside of that we enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
We loved the size of the room. The kitchen was well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels and amenities. We really enjoyed the view out of our window. The staff in the breakfast room were super nice. Our first room smelled of old dog urine. The hotel happily changed us to a different room that had no odor. The parking was atrocious. As first-timers to Chicago, having zero information on how the parking worked, just trying to find the hotel was a chore, then to find out that there was only valet parking available was a surprise, but then to find out that the price was $78.00/day to use it was highway robbery! Especially, for the ONE night we used and paid for it, it took over an hour to have our car retrieved, and there was a tip expected?! What exactly are we paying for? We then found long term parking for a much more reasonable price outside of the hotel. Had we used the valet parking the whole week, parking alone would have cost 3x what the entire price of the rental car cost.
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Insanely affordable and beautiful, spacious rooms. Great, firm beds with soft sheets that don't hold in heat. TV's were great and, while channels were limited, had good options as well as access to streaming. Well prepared and delicious continental breakfast.
- 4.5/5
Sofa/pullout bed was pretty dated but fine for a kid.
- 4/5
Location
- 4/5
Baseboards and walls were dirty I don't expects that in a $300 a night hotel
- 5/5
Great location, helpful staff, and included breakfast is a plus. The hotel is outdated, specially the kitchen in the room so we used the fridge and the microwave only.
- 3/5
This breakfast staff was the best I've seen. They were happy attentive. They made it enjoyable.
- 5/5
The staff was really friendly
- 5/5
Room size and amenities. Closet to shops and restaurants. Parking charges were too exorbitant
- 5/5
Elevator took almost an hour.
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is simple but it works. The location is excellent, only about 20mins walk to the Bean and 15mins walk to the wharf where the boat tours leave (architecture boat tours). Also it is even closer to the 2 restaurants that do the original Deep-pan Pizza from Chicago: Pizza Uno and Pizza Due.
- 5/5
location and the size of the room nothing
- 4/5
Great location. The included breakfast is a great perk at this location. Our room was clean and overall nice. The employees were all friendly. Only two nuisances, parking is ridiculous at $72 a night. Found a garage across the street for $30. Have to ask for ice to be brought up to room....called twice and was told on the way, but never showed up. We will consider staying at this place again next time we come to town.
- 2.5/5
we really loved the location. the proximity to everything on mag mile was great. we also enjoyed the suite style of the room and it worked well for our family. our room was relatively clean, but unfortunately someone left a bunch of gross dried contact lenses in our room above our head board. it just made me wonder if the staff had attention to detail in other areas of cleaning. they did come remove them for us, but for our inconvenience the only offered us $25 worth of points which just felt like not enough to be honest.
- 5/5
The clerk Jessica when we checked out. Jessica was rude, disrespectful and placed us in a room with a crappy view for the one extended day we asked for at your facility. Waste of money and should have gone somewhere else or just gone home.
- 4/5
Great breakfast and pool. Good room size. Bed slouched to the middle thats our only complaint.
- 5/5
Comfortable stay in a great location! We liked the space and having a kitchenette was so convenient. Loved being right next door to Eataly, and close to Trader Joe’s. Also very convenient to sites. Staff was helpful and kind.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. Great location! The room was clean, maybe needed a little updating but spacious. The ice cream party/social hour was great. The breakfast was good each morning. The breakfast attendants were very nice, especially Lacey! We would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
We loved it! Perfect location and the view was beautiful!
- 3/5
Breakfast was Good one of the Breakfast staff i don't remember her name got rude with my wife when she tried to sit in a different area because the Breakfast area was full ........... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
- 5/5

- 4/5
Clean room, great location, friendly staff
- 4/5
It was a great stay! Our dog was welcomed and enjoyed his time in the big city as well. Valet did great the first few days, fast, friendly and communicative but had some issues on Tuesday, took over an hour due to new staff working out the kinks. Once we got our vehicle back we were good and happy to roll!
- 5/5
Great pool, friendly staff
- 2/5
Ground lobby smelled, furniture and rooms had stains, outdated and poor property conditions, pool was dirty, over chlorinated, and had clumps of hair floating in it.
- 3/5
Only 2-elevators for 12-Floor Hotel (up to 10-minute wait times, many times packed, waiting for next elevator).
- 5/5
I absolutely loved it here. Felt totally safe with my girls, breakfast was great and beds are comfortable and bug free. I plan to stay again soon! Lovely staff also- so helpful as someone who isn’t local
- 1/5
The property was horrible experience, outdated, dirty, broken. Couch was tore and dirty, lamp was covered in water stain, mirror was missing, fridge was rusted, countertops were dirty, bedroom door broke and wood cracked, bathroom ceiling leaking and cracked, mirror missing. 2 elevators waiting up to 54 mins at a time for it overpacked took most of our time up!! To room from room. Breakfast was no seating left, food ran out! Called for valet parking an hour before our friends, was told 20 mins for our vehicle we waited outside an additional 65 minutes. Horrrinle horrible experience! Stay clear !
- 5/5
Wow where do I start, the staff was awesome, the room was extremely clean, the breakfast was great, overall a A+++++
- 4/5
The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are spacious. I had an issue with the pull out sofa (broken) and had to end up sleeping on the couch since the kids were in the beds. That was less than great, but the staff was really trying to help me find a solution. Breakfast was awesome, lots of choices. Overall it's a great spot!
- 4/5
Location is good! Rooms are good but long waiting for elevator. Only two elevators. Breakfast was average.
- 5/5
Clean room very nice staff and just an amazing stay
- 5/5
The location was the best
- 5/5
Most of our experiences were quite positive, except the elevators which were always slow / full, and no one was on the first floor to let us leave our luggages for a while on the day we checked out.
- 4/5
Great location, 15 minute walk to Navy Pier. Good breakfast, lots of restaurants nearby as well as grocery. Hotel was good, but is a bit showing it's age. Large room, had the king suite corner room which had great views of city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again when in town.

Was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the free buffet breakfast.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved my stay here. The location is fantastic, with great restaurants within walking distance and a beautiful riverfront nearby.
- 2/5
It was located in a convenient area but the entrance was very small and looked like a garage lobby. There were only two elevators so you need to wait for a while. It might be okay for families to stay in the larger room but I booked this hotel to attend the conference in chicago and wanted to be relaxed and enjoy the hotel stay with my friend. However, our room was not ready and had to wait till 5:30. Then, we felt the room seemed to be not quite ready or service is missing. The window was open, we didn’t have enough blankets, mirrors and trash bins for two guests. We found a trash bin full of previous guests’ garbage in the kitchen closet on the third day. After talking to a manager, someone kindly brought a mirror. Overall, it was very weird experience.
- 5/5
The staff here is so kind! Everybody was so helpful and had such a good attitude when doing their jobs. It was wonderful to see. The room was also spectacular… It was clean and spacious and perfect for our family of five. Would highly recommend and would return!
- 4/5
Staff at breakfast very attentive and pleasant Accommodated us for an early check in helped for smoother1st day of stay. Rooms need some make over - bed, couch, carpet have served its life. A lot extra time for valet to get your car back.
- 5/5
My daughter and her friends enjoyed her birthday stay.

Everything was amazing, staff, amenities.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and very helpful! The breakfast was just ok but I would stay again it was a good experience.
- 3/5
The room was nice. Overall the toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall broke the bathroom ceiling look like they just repaired it and it had mold on it and the showerhead had no water pressure whatsoever other than that.
- 5/5
The staff is very friendly and efficient. The WIFI is good and if needed there is a printer in the lobby you can use for free. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is good and plentiful. There is all kinds of shopping all within walking distance.
- 4/5
Location is great
- 5/5
Nice hotel and nice location
- 3/5
THE PLACE WAS OK.
- 2/5
Room wasn’t clean, pillows had visible dirt, everything ran down, bed had hair in it. Breakfast was okay. Not what you typically see and only a few options.
- 5/5
Perfect location in River North. I found this to be more of a family place. Heavy traffic with families, which makes sense because it’s perfect for a family. That did make it difficult to get breakfast, so I had to pass. Even getting a coffee was congested. My room was great and the door on the bedroom allowed me to block out the noise. The staff was amazingly accommodating. I’m not knocking it at all, just saying as a solo traveler or even a couple, you will find it busy with families. I would definitely stay here again if the same deal comes up.
- 5/5
As always, spacious suite, quiet, clean. Pool was very nice and warm, however, it needed cleaning. There was a lot of hair, floating and debris on the bottom. Everything went like clockwork for departure. Once again, female valet, was very helpful. Can’t recall her name. Somewhat disappointing, no beer or wine for sale or at the reception. Waiting for a liquor license to renew apparently. This hotel is in the middle of everything. Around the corner, literally, from mag mile. Finally a chance to visit Goddess and the Baker next door.
- 3/5
The room was ok kind of dated the 1st few nights we had blankets didn't pull back the sheets but when we did there was blood spots on the under sheets that was really nasty and the lack of parking when you did gind one its very expensive they would benefit if they had parking validation
- 4/5
Great location, amazing staff, and good breakfast buffet!
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was excellent. Only reason for a 4 was the room furniture and bedding is looking a little tired. Good price thou and excellent location.

- 5/5
We had an excellent stay. Amazing staff from the folks downstairs to the, house keepers, breakfast staff and front desk. Absolutely amazing experience. We will be back. Rooms couple have used a very tiny more attention to cleaning details however everything was over all in great condition. Not a brand new property but well kept.

- 3/5
The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was fine. It was definitely an average stay. The hotel itself could use some updates. The hallways and elevator were particularly in need of tending to. I do not think it was a good value for the price. I assume the holiday season was a factor in that.

Room was nice and so was staff but the pool was being filled so it was ice cold and it was full of hair clumps in and along the pool along with fake eye lashes and a fake fingernail in the womens sink

Great small suite room for the price. Excellent!
- 5/5
Rooms need updating. Overall EXCELLENT experience. The staff was professional, inviting, and attentive. The breakfast crew should all receive gold stars and bonuses…their attention to detail was awesome
- 4/5
Though it was more than what Expedia said. They said I was supposed to get my deposit They double took yes both apps the hotel took and Expedia took double and I questioned it and they said that that was supposed to come back. Yet but I’m still in negative in my checking account bummer so I know that I’m not supposed to be in the whole so just be careful I would suggest you pay cash.

- 5/5
Everything was great the only bad thing I have to say was the tater tots were cold and the elevators were slow but they were fixing them
- 3/5
The only bad thing is the $72 daily rate for parking, which you need to pay if you are driving to Chicago, making the daily rate of the hotel little more expensive. The pool is very small and little cold, other than that the place is clean and smoke free, close to many attractions, location is nice.
- 4/5
Happy with our stay. Value with the booking and property.
- 5/5
Great rooms
- 4/5
The rooms were a great size, and the personal touch of my name on the TVs was nice, and the kids thought it was amazing. My only major issue was the heat in the room. It was blowing so hard, and no matter how low we put the temperature it wouldn't stop. We did not sleep well at all, I am not sure I slept. And for being New years, and already being up late, that wasn't great. and I couldnt' use my CPAP because I had a weird hot air breeze in intervals over my face, even after closing the vents which made it hard to breathe. I am not sure what was the issue but we were all extremely hot. The shower was good, complicated but good. And everything was clean. Breakfast even for being as busy as it was, was taken care of consistently and the staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Clean room, free breakfast and right in the heart of the city.
- 1/5
The hotel had a strong smoke smell everywhere. It was gross. Staff was nice.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at Homewood. The friendly and caring staff made it truly special—especially Fabiola at reception, the fantastic breakfast team, and the attentive housekeeping staff.
- 5/5
Great stay!! We really enjoyed Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown!! Once you enter on street level, proceed to Level 6 for the lobby. Customer service was great at check in. It was really busy on Christmas Day. The views are really great from the whole front side of the building. They do have snacks and drinks for purchase in the lobby. We booked a city view room for a small upcharge and am super happy we did. The room had a huge bed, couch bed, 2 tvs, and kitchenette complete with dishes. The view at night was so beautiful!! Our room and bathroom was super clean. The bed was so comfortable!! Some have mentioned that it’s noisy…. this hotel is downtown in a major city so yes there is more noise than staying out of the city. Take it in as part of the experience. The noise didn’t bother me at all. There is complimentary breakfast!! I would 100% stay here again! **PARKING** the hotel does offer valet for more money than I wanted to spend. Use SPOTHERO and book a spot 1 block away(430 n rush) for a seriously amazing price. It’s an open air lot so if you have a bigger suv or truck it’s perfect.
- 2/5
Hotel needs maintenance and a little common sense upkeep. Everywhere you look everything's worn out. The emergency escape window in our Suite was half open and jammed could hear sirens all sorts of racket all night long. Looks like they tried to just get it to sort of shut and stuff some napkins in it. The toilet constantly ran after flushing. Tile's broken and moisture peeling paint off the ceiling in the bathroom because of no vent fan working. The pool was so cloudy it was ridiculous. So much chlorine and that thing you could burn your eyes as soon as you open the door. Again, nobody maintaining the property. Breakfast was a s*** show every single day. Not nearly enough seating for an entire hotel of folks eating breakfast. Get rid of some of the nonsense seating in the lobby and utilize that space for actual tables and chairs for people to eat. The lobby is useless anyway. The fireplace was never on. Nobody was ever sitting down there. There's no bar. Advertising 24/7 coffee and water in the lobby. Not true or only at breakfast. Overall probably wouldn't stay again as there were other opportunities to stay elsewhere, similar or better pricing.
- 1/5
Smelly rooms with slow elevators and no luggage carts available with the most uncomfortable beds and pool was ghetto
- 3/5
Staff was nice and helpful, and hotel is in a great location. However, The hotel is getting worn and outdated. Carpet, furniture and pullout sofa’s are stained and uncomfortable. The sheets did not fit our king size bed (they did fix and change sheets tho). The elevators are old and slow, so be prepared to wait if it’s busy.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh, good service and excellent location.
- 3/5
The room was fine, I had 3 rooms and only one was ready an hour after check in, the last room wasn't ready for over 2 hours after check in. The elevators are super slow, I was thankful both elevators were working.
- 1/5
Very bad experience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone
- 4/5
Overall it was a great stay! Close to many attractions and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay for the Holiday weekend! One drawback was the wait for the elevator was long, and breakfast was PACKED. Room was clean and spacious! We would stay again.
- 3/5
Location of the property was good. Housekeeping room service was poor
- 5/5
The staff very friendly and down to earth and very professional
- 5/5
Lived the hotel it was clean staff was friendly and I slept like a baby in a soft bed. And the view omg can’t wait to return.

Room in decent condition.
- 5/5
Good space, great amenities (full kitchen with fridge and microwave), gym and pool, clean rooms, great staff. Decent breakfast.
- 1/5
Room was very small and even with the thermostat set at 80 we were uncomfortably cold. Beds are rock hard and extremely uncomfortable. View wasn't anything special. Breakfast was cold and gross. Extremely subpar compared to other similar hotels we have stayed at.
- 5/5
We love staying here every year during the holidays! Great rooms, excellent service, and the perfect location!
- 5/5
Staff was awesome
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Room fairly clean except bathroom counter had stray pills on counter and fake eyelashes that someone had removed.
- 5/5
The prices are reasonable. The staff at front desk manager are very nice. I like the fact that they call you or text you and check on you. Yes, the rooms are spacious acceptably clean just wished they had a smoking area. but other than that, it was worth my money very peaceful and Private and I will definitely go stay there again and recommend close family and friends or even people that’s asking where are the nice hotels. That is one of them when you’re on the budget also thank you Hilton.
- 4/5
nice room; kitchen area was nice but we did not need it; king size bed was nice and firm
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Good experience across the board …. Hotel is well managed and staffed.
- 4/5

Quiet, clean and accessible to all key places in Chicago.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, good breakfast, great locatiin, nice staff
- 4/5
Bery strong clorox smell in the pool room. Eggs were cold fire breakfast. But room was clean and we had a great view. Front desk was friendly
- 5/5
With 4 year old boy, it was a great choice to stay because we could cook there! I also loved the big refrigerator.
- 4/5
Clean room, and hotel.
- 5/5
The view from the room was great! I loved the living room area and it was a great area to relax.
- 5/5
The location of this hotel is very convenient.
- 5/5
wonderful
- 5/5
the room was incredible. The staff members were great and so friendly. We will definitely return when we visit Chicago again.
- 5/5
The staff was great and the room was bigger than expected!
- 5/5
Room and hotel was very clean. A few things that really stood out: Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and considerably better than other continental breakfast we had at other hotels. Another thing that was small, but extremely helpful. I had forgotten my iPhone charger in my car, so was getting ready to head back to the parking deck around midnight to retrieve it, but thankfully, I noticed they equipped the night stand with a contactless smartphone charger which saved me a trip of going out to the parking deck at midnight. Very convenient! Overall, a great stay, and if visiting Chicago in the future, we would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean rooms!
- 5/5
Room were clean
- 5/5
Very clean, kind staff and wonderful experience overall.
- 5/5
Exceeded expectations
- 5/5
Nice location, very comfortable, friendly front desk, easy parking ( expensive) but okay, very nice view, shops everywhere and many more. Although the hotel does need improvement but I can't complaint about our stay. I had a peaceful night, I mean if you obviously won't mind the sirens and road noises then yeah. I love how the hotel felt safe for my little ones. The furniture choice was really though about for children too and also the hotel does not feel eerie lmao. It is warm and felt like home.
- 5/5
Breakfast was mediocre, but much appreciated! Coffee was quite good. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean & our corner suite was fabulous! Bed was very comfortable. We would stay again.
- 4/5
Breakfast is a continental and eggs were powered did not like
- 5/5
Thanks for a great stay!
- 5/5
Great staff, perfect location, thank you.
- 5/5
Found an excellent restaurant near by Shaw’s Crab House.
- 5/5
Clean room. Wonderful friendly staff
- 4/5
Overall a good stay . Some things are starting to be very dated at the hotel, Rugs, dining chairs ,kitchen wares , couches all need an update. Staff was excellent. very comfy bed.
- 5/5
This hotel was great. We had an issue with the bathroom towel rack and someone fixed it right away. Dependable service, nice people, very clean!!
- 4/5
The biggest concern is the furniture in the living room needs to be updated. The sofa bed was old and sinks in, mix matched chairs at the dining table.
- 5/5
Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Good to have a suite with a kitchenette for our stay.
- 4/5
Great location, clean room with full kitchen. Close to trains for easy transport around downtiwn Chicago.
- 5/5
Great experience, will use this hotel again next time I’m in chi town
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean and is centrally located.
- 4/5
Homewood Staff friendly and curteous. Thank you for making our trip an enjoyable one!
- 5/5
I loved how easy to find dining,
- 5/5
Add to that the great location and this was definitely a winner. Easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants around. We had out kids along and i never felt unsafe navigating this part of the city with them even at night.
- 5/5
The location is the best part of this hotel! Everything is super close! I wish the breakfast would stay open for longer especially for families on vacation. With there being so much to do it’s wild to expect people to wake up at 7:30am! Which is encouraged. The pool was really clean! Our room had a moldy smell and sometimes during the day it smelled like plumbing. You can tell the staff tried to maintain everything clean! They came by everyday which was really nice since we traveled with kids! The staff was super nice and went above and beyond! Over all we had a nice stay!
- 5/5
Very good location
- 5/5
Rooms very clean and comfy, staff very kind. Good location. All overall very good!!!
- 5/5
Excellent location to explore Chicago
- 5/5
Could have been quieter
- 5/5
Will definitely recommed to friends and family. The breakfast was real good. Thank you all for a great stay.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff and quick responses. Had no issues at all. Close to many famous attractions.
- 5/5
Other than that the room, staff n the service were great!
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 5/5
Centrally located near cafes and shops, safe area
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and good customer service.
- 3/5
Always smelled!!
- 5/5
The friendliest staff I have ever experiemced
- 5/5
It was a great experience
- 5/5
It's worth knowing that while Expedia advertises a flat rate for valet parking, if you have a truck you will pay a higher rate (regardless of make, model, size, or anything else). It's understandable, but should also be noted given the number of trucks on the road today.
- 4/5
Great location to walk around Downtown, excellent restaurants nearby. Staff was very nice and polite.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great location
- 5/5
Breakfast is delicious and offer good options. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I did some research for all the Hotels in Downtown Chicago, I picked this one as it has Great location, Breakfast included and Pool. We booked a corner suite with a amazing View on 16 floor, for a family of 3, with the kitchen and fridge and dishwasher. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the Breakfast was great and all the hotel Staff were super friendly and helpful. I was able to extend my check out until 1pm for a $39.00 fee. The Subway Grand Station is 5 minutes to Hotel, to catch the Blue line to O'Hara and a Shuttle to airport , takes about an hour door to door. Make sure you have $3.00 US to $5.00 in change to get to and from Airport. The subway only has a few machines that take cash or credit. The Pool at the Hotel was very nice, and warm and open until 11pm , with clean towels , and a Gym. Hotel is walking distance to all the shopping, and attractions, Cathedral and restarants and Jewel Grocery store. Thank you Homewood suites and Staff for a wonderful stay in Chicago, beds were very comfortable. We also caught the Bus 146 to Solder Filed to see OASIS in Concert. this Bus was great to travel to this area.
- 5/5
it was wonderful no complaints definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Great location and great hotel with friendly employees 10/10 bomb
- 3/5
Paying $72 to park at a hotel I’m staying in is redundant. Also, one of the employees came to my room and rattled the door handle. She didn’t knock or announce anything, she just started pulling at the handle. She took off really fast as I opened the door. I asked what she was doing and she replied “I’m so sorry”, before walking off.
- 5/5
Great stay, loved the room , the staff, and breakfast
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
The place is nice and you can find anything around, no need to rent a car. The only thing that did not meet my expectations was the sofa-bed. The mattress was too thin and I felt like sleeping in the springs.
- 5/5
I would definitely stay again; it's an excellent spot to be in, close to all of downtown Chicago. The staff were friendly and assisted with all issues.
- 3/5
Very worn room. Needs refreshing, badly
- 5/5
Great location great stay
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful. Breakfast is always excellent. Would not think twice to come back.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Bed comfortable
- 5/5
Excellent location and staff at desk, breakfast and room service. Spacious rooms.
- 5/5
Walkable to magnificent mile and river walk. Staff we encountered was really nice and welcoming.
- 4/5
A last minute booking since our other hotel we had booked messaged their pool was closed. So I found this and was in a reasonable price range for fhe area. We were going to Wrigley Field for a game and the red line train is one block and close walk to hotel. The staff was so helpful and giving me instructions on the subway train and how to use ticket app and where to get off for Wrigley which ended up being a 20 min ride. The area all around the hotel has so much to do so plenty of restaurants and shops and walkability factor is A+. We used the pool and only complaint is it could use someone going in and cleaning up, finding clumps of hair on the floor and towels laying around along with garbage left behind kind of grossed me out. The bed was comfortable but the rest of the room needs some attention. The couch looked gross and carpet could be replaced in my opinion. Our room was clean but I could feel something gritty on my feet walking around in bare feet so I think needed some mopping. The showerhead was the worst- low water pressure and wonky water flow coming out of it. The complimentary breakfast was good with lots of options and plenty of seating. For the room rate it was a good stay, would probably stay again.
- 5/5
The staff was very attentive and helpful.
- 4/5
The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The hotel furniture in the room, particularly the bed and sofa weren't super comfortable, the sofa seemed really old and used, but not awful.

Property location was great for walking around downtown and to navy pier. Great customer service. Hotel was outdated but clean. Would stay again!
- 3/5
Checking in/stopping to check in hard with all the traffic. Difficult hotel to find with GPS. Sent us to the back of building. Need better signage.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay.
- 5/5
Awesome stay… my second time here, my family I love this hotel!
- 5/5
Great place close to Michigan ave, navy pier, red line, stores, and casino.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Very helpful staff and spacious rooms.
- 5/5
Everything excellent the except for the elevator where only one was working and it took a long time to arrive
- 1/5
Ride checkin staff. They were allegedly working on the elevator… But we were there for five nights and never saw anyone working on an elevator! It was one of my most frustrating hotel stays ever!
- 2/5
The front desk team were very nice but the room was dirty. Dirty dishes on the shelf, dusty on all curtains and the room smelled like mold mildew. Even when not in use water dripping drom ceiling in bathroom Told front desk they had somone come deep clean. Showed pictures of dust. Came back late that night still had dust same dirty glasses on the shelf
- 3/5
The ladies at Breakfast were amazing.
- 2/5
We changed room better but not great,
- 1/5
Terrible service at the front desk, especially from Karina. The room needs updating. The sofa bed where my son slept was in terrible condition, damaged, and never replaced. My son spent the four nights we slept at the hotel very uncomfortable and didn't sleep well. The bathroom bathtub was stained. The bathroom was ugly. The closet doors were bad. In short, the worst Hilton we've ever been to. No one was interested in our concerns.
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
Everything was great and I enjoyed the breakfast
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. The prperty is very clean and well situated to restaurants, local attractions. The train access is one block away. The breakfast buffet is very nice with lots of hot choices. The rooms are very quiet with no traffice noise.
- 4/5
Carpet was stained in our room, towel rack in bathroom kept falling off the wall, toilet paper holder was also very loose. The beds were ok at best, not very comfortable, the pull out mattress was awful and all you could feel was springs. I read on another review that they offer a mattress topper so we got that for our son and it made a big difference for him. The staff was amazing, the breakfast was wonderful each morning.
- 5/5
Location is good breakfast is good
- 5/5
Sofa bed not the most comfortable but it worked for a couple of nights
- 4/5
It was a good stay. The hotel is aging. There's signs of mold on the ceiling above the shower. The people were excellent. The location was great.
- 4/5
Good lication
- 5/5
walking distance to magnificent mile and train station
- 5/5
amazing 10/10. Walkable to many touristy areas. Staff were very friendly. Nice view of the city
- 3/5
Staff was nice, location is perfect but not very clean. Stains in room and felt dirty. Pricing was high bc of location but not worth a re-stay. I’d rather pay more for cleanliness
- 5/5
Close to everything and always accomodating!
- 5/5
The rooms were very nice size and clean. The couch was a little worn and not very comfortable to sit on. Bed was very comfortable! The pool area was nice but the floor was very slippery. My grandson took a hard fall just walking
- 5/5
The staff that would take care of the breakfast buffet was exceptional! Real human beings that authentically serve with empathy and respect. Lacey, Pricilla, Guadalupe, Jeremey (?) and Ivan made us feel at home, so much so, that I found myself looking forward to greeting them every morning as well aa eating that delicious breakfast buffet."
- 5/5
Came for a Stray Kids concert, everything was excellent~room, service, continental breakfast was yummy & lots to offer. Highly recommend. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
- 4/5
Central to downtown chicago , walking distance from a lot of tourist areas. Hotel view was nice.
- 4/5
Th valet parking was kinda pricy and i had to wait for 45 plus minutes to get my vehicle
- 3/5
There was a warning after already booking that there would be limited elevator service. It was very inconvenient and left a lot of guest on edge and more rude than they probably would normally be. Would have been nice to have a reduced price for how inconvenient that was. Otherwise the stay was pretty good. The rooms don't have much sound proofing, you can hear everything going on in the halls and outside. The bathrooms are dated and seem to have a lot of water damage.
- 5/5
Fabulous, exceeded my expectations
- 5/5
Close to most attractions, within walking distance. Room is clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is good.
- 5/5
Great stay. The bed was not the most comfortable.
- 3/5
.
- 5/5
Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive
- 5/5
Good location, convenient to everyone. Friendly staff, highly recommended
- 3/5
It is a great location and our room was nice. Valet parking is a nightmare!! It’s the only option for parking, it’s expensive, and it takes FOREVER to get your car back. We were told to ask for our car 15-20 before we needed it. We submitted our request at 9:10. We got a text at 9:28 saying it would be another 35 mins!!! Ridiculous.
- 5/5
Close proximity to many sites and activities
- 5/5
Great location with a very nice breakfast spread and a great top floor pool
- 5/5
Clean great breakfast snd situated in walking distance from most attractions
- 5/5
Great location, good breakfast, friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back.
- 3/5
It’s aleighty
- 5/5
Great property while visiting Chicago. Staff was amazing.
- 5/5
The dinner reception was very nice. My boys enjoyed the pool and the view was great. Only one elevator was working and that made waiting to get to the 19th floor extra long.
- 5/5
I loved it all
- 5/5
The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Great room size and value as well as great location
- 3/5
The stay was decent overall. The only downside was the frequent noise from police and ambulance sirens, but that’s understandable and hard to avoid. It was an average experience.
- 5/5
Great location. Poolaas indoors but not heated too much, so was quite colin the winter
- 4/5
Excellent location to River, transit and restaurants. Comfortable and spacious suite; liked the separation of living and bed areas. Had great southern city and skyline views. Negatives: accommodations in room worn and slightly outdated. Did not like seeing visible stains on furniture.
- 5/5
The staff are very friendly and good breakfast selection.
- 5/5
I need an invoice
- 4/5
Everything you would expect for a stay in a major city. I’d suggest adding some healthier options for breakfast but I get it. It’s hard to do. But I won’t knock the breakfast, it was good.
- 5/5
Everyone there was super friendly and kind, especially the breakfast staff.
- 5/5
Rooms made me feel like I was at home!
- 4/5
A good hotel in a great location and with excellent staff service.
- 4/5
Good Breakfast- No waffle maker or pancakes though Dressers a bit banged up Water pressure kinda sucked but got the job done Nice city view Would stay here again 😊
