The hotel was great, nice rooms of decent size. We had lake view which was very nice. The little sitting area by the window is a nice touch. The shower was great, a large walk-in shower, big sink, plenty of towels and everything was very clean. Very happy with our booking.

Nice facility, located near several Chicago sites and amenities. Day of check in, lady at desk was not very friendly, but it was a one off and everyone has a bad day.

It was clean room and had an amazing view on the 36th floor.

Property was clean as were the rooms. We have been staying there since the hotel opened and we feel the rooms need a bit of a refresh to make it feel more crisp looking . After lots of use sometimes bathrooms and beds need to be refreshed. Service was good in the dining areas and rooms

We are Bonvoy members and stay at this hotel frequently. On this particular stay, we arrived at 8:30 pm and went down to the dining room for a meal. Waiter took our order but forgot to turn it into the kitchen. Then we had a waitress come over and say that the main kitchen was closed and gave us a limited menu saying we had to order from that! We told them that we had already ordered but again the waiter forgot to turn in. After much to do, we were able to finally to order and eat, but the frustration was high and by this time it was 10:30!! Breakfast was a little better but they definately have a staffing problem !!!!

The hotel lobby is spacious and beautiful. They have a few different spaces to sit and work or perhaps just chit chat with a traveling companion. I booked a one bed bedroom and the space was big. Bigger than any other one bed hotel room I’ve ever had in the past. I loved the desk next to the tv, the couch by the window, the couch desk, the bathroom and there were so many outlets in the room. Having control of the thermostat was fantastic too! Front desk staff were so kind and helpful too.

Confusing with the room details. Booking.com 2 Queens but the Marriott Marquis 1 King bed. Unacceptable to think you will force people to pay for something they did not purchase or agree to. You have lost my business for good.

I paid for the breakfast package and appreciated the option to order from the menu or to have the buffet. I could overhear the staff complaining about guests in the restaurant during breakfast. I thought it was unprofessional.

I am upset about not doing enough research before staying. You can do self park for 40 dollars or valet for 60. The parking structure is to the left of the hotel and you have to cross the street to get there. I did the self park, but there was an event being held there which I was unaware about, which made getting in and out of the hotel a big hassle. There was so many cars it took me about 30 min to get my car to the hotel, load my baby and the stroller and get out. It looked like the valet was having trouble controlling the cars going in and out as well. One driver had to get off to yell at a car to move. So that all the other cars could pass through. It seemed like poor organization on their end and lack of research on mine. Or it could be a normal day, others staying here may want to plan according and maybe call and see about any events being held.
- 5/5
The location was perfect for our event and the restaurant staff was amazing especially Ignacio and Julia R. Extremely friendly we will come back to this location again

Good food options including breakfast buffet which was great. Clean and well maintained property. Staff were very professional. My friend forgot her eye glasses in the room before check out and realized after. The staff went up and found it for her. They had fallen between the bed and nightstand. That’s above and beyond IMO.

I liked the location near the conference room and the public transportation. The room was always clean when I got back. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was never consistent. I don't know if this is because I had to become a member, but the wifi still wouldn't work even after dealing with tech support. I also almost was tricked into spending $6 for a water, which I am glad I saw the tag on the cap before opening it. Still put me on edge before using anything in the room.
- 5/5
Staff was great Booking.com ..... I'll never use your service again. YOU charged my debit card and gave the hotel a crap refillable card that didnt work so I got charged twice and it locked up my account on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND. Thank you for utterly ruining my life booking.
- 3/5
Very clean and overall very nice facilities. Mainly the front desk staff were all very dismissive and felt bothered.
- 5/5
The room had a spectacular view of the lake. It was beautiful. The were no negative aspects to our stay at your hotel. I found it one of the most stress free stays I've had at any facility in a long time.

It was an amazing stay!
- 3/5
The hotel was very nice with a great view from the 35th floor out to Lake Michigan. However upon arrival I was charged an additional $1800 in error which is no small sum. This was done on Thursday last week the 9th and despite complaining about this three times and when I checked out on Monday I have still not received this sum back. I find this disgraceful from a hotel chain such as Marriott.
- 5/5
Great room and nice location. Hotel is large and very well kept.
- 1/5
The key card didn’t work and the convince kiosk didn’t work either.
- 4/5
Only one complaint the outside was a little trashy
- 5/5
Solo female traveler. Came to town for a metal show. Hotel was four blocks from the venue. Area felt safe and friendly enough to walk back to the hotel by myself after midnight. The room had a lovely view, also very quiet and well maintained. 10/10 would stay again

- 5/5
Front desk staff was super professional and friendly. Rhianna I think her name was.
- 5/5
We were in town for a concert at Soldier Field. The hotel was in a great location and was clean and comfortable for our stay.
- 3/5
While it was a beautiful hotel and parking was easy … they charge $40 per day to self park ($60 for valet we used self park) they also charge a $30 per day entertainment fee. You can only use $15 in the expensive restaurant and the other $15 you can upgrade WiFi (not needed). I wouldn’t mind paying these extra fees but for what they charge per nite it’s insane.
- 3/5
Great hotel and staff - but loud/noisy with outdoor concerts and big weddings in the conference rooms, even with room on 33rd floor.
- 4/5
It took a long time to get a corkscrew from them and the fan in the bathroom didn't work
- 5/5
This place is close for any shows at Soldier field. It was within walking distance to food options too.
- 1/5
They didn't save the valet reservation, because there was a sign outside saying valet was full. they directed me to a parking garage that had a closed entrance, then one around the back of the building that was complex to get to. Smelled like a sewer outside. The room AC is movement/motion activated which they did not mention when i called before booking. They had to have an HVAC person unlock the thermostat because when she asked if i really wanted "it to be cool all night." It was almost 80 degrees in the room for an hour. And... we ran out of toilet paper and they never came with more so we had to use the bathroom 38 floors below our room. Trash on the elevator for 2 days. Went to leave parking garage and had to have the attendants come look at our itemized bill to see we had already paid for parking so we didnt have to pay an additional $67 it was trying to charge us at the exit. It was close to the venue. Room service took over an hour the first night and and hour the second night. It is severely overpriced and they charge you all of it upon check in. Will not be going back. It was such a mess!!!
- 4/5
The views from the room were spectacular. Very convenient location and easy to find. You have to pay separately for parking. I think hotels should always offer free parking for their guests so that is a surprise.
- 4/5
We made a weekend out of attending a concert on Sunday. Arrived late Friday night and had zero issues checking in and parking. Staff was very nice at check in. Great location for a concert at Soldier Field. Housekeeping was a bit off, but not a big deal. Good ole Chicago tax is painful. States that grab and go is 24 hours but we did not experience that.
- 5/5
Beautiful room, absolutely stunning view overlooking some of the city and the lake on the 31st floor. The beds are very comfy, the shower was lovely. If I ever visit Chicago again I will gladly return. I'm typically a working poor, just give me the basics type of person but decided to splurge this once since it's really close to Soldier Field (less than 20min walk!) and I regret nothing. Slept great, highly recommend.
- 5/5
Close to all tourist attractions
- 3/5
Smelled like sewage outside the building as well as in our room. Wasnt too impressed
- 5/5
great
- 3/5
Location was great for Solider Field, but the staff were lacking and the restaurant was not great. We had breakfast and the service was awful, the buffet food was not good either. We stayed there to have a convenient place for a concert at Solider Field, it’s an easy 15 min walk. When we arrived back from a concert late evening, there was nowhere open to get soda or snacks (grab and go fridges were all roped off) - so make sure to load up before you go! Plus, lines for check in were really long. Room was fine / average, but the bed was comfortable and shower decent.
- 4/5
Just what one would expect from a nice hotel.
- 5/5
Had a great experience! Will definitely be back
- 5/5
clean rooms and friendly staff. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
- 3/5
For what we paid, not worth the value. Air conditioning was weak and definitely didn’t get down to desired temp, walls were very thin and we could hear everything both from neighbors and the hallway, restaurant very overpriced. Can’t order a full breakfast from room service. Easy walk to Soldier Field. But for what we paid we absolutely did not get the experience we expected.
- 5/5
The interior of the building was super clean, no dust bunnies in sight which is highly unusual. The food was great, however I wish there were more choices since you’re kind of far(not in walking) from the city. The staff was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Overall, I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was abrupt, not helpful. Tried to ask a few questions a couple of times but clearly felt like they were being bothered.
- 3/5
The location to the shy game and navy pier made the vacation a win
- 5/5
Loved the ambience, staff was polite, beautiful establishment!

I’ve stayed at this Marriott a few times for trade shows and it’s wonderful every time!! Thank you, Marriott.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Excellent if your going to a convention at McCormick Place
- 5/5
The clerk at the front desk was wonderful. Our room faced Lake Michigan. Stunning view . Beds were comfortable . The bathroom had no place to put anything. really poor choice of sink design. Had drinks at the bar. Staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Only issue: Part of reason we stayed was for food court that was stated to stay open late nighlty. Perfect for after festival food needs. Unfortunately, it was closed most of the time we of our 5 night stay. Also, it would have been nice to havevending machine options if coffee shop was to close at 10pm each day.
- 5/5
Loved the location very comfortable, if im ever back in Chicago, ill stay again.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again.

- 4/5
Not a lot around the neighborhood
- 4/5
Booked a room with great view. Had to ask for flips. It’s a little far to the convention center as compared to other hotels, though there was an inside bridge leading to the center. Very ordinary food in the in-house restaurants.
- 5/5
The housekeepers were amazing! So friendly and did an excellent job!
- 2/5
Earliest check-in is at 4pm. Aside from being later than the standard check-in time, the room has stained towels, hair on the carpet, little to no soap in the dispenser to name a few. The front desk were not professional and courtesy for a 4 star hotel
- 4/5
Close to McCormick place
- 5/5
Enjoyed the ambiance and friendly staff
- 4/5
Very easy to get to Wintrust Arena, across the street, also can catch bus, train taxi are very easy to get and nice area to get your walking exercise in. Remember if you go to Chicago go after the middle of July into August. Rain thunderstorms will delay your later flights! Big mistake on my part.

Loved the stay. The view for the fireworks was amazing.
- 5/5
Beautiful facility, taxis available at front entrance
- 5/5
Fantastic bartender. Elisa is the best! She knows her stuff and is super friendly. Room is nice and clean.
- 5/5
This is such a beautiful hotel. We had a king bed with lake view and we stayed on 7/4 so the fireworks were beautiful on the lake. Super comfy bed and the best pillows ever!
- 5/5
Best place ever
- 3/5
The staff was not super pleasant or helpful.
- 3/5
we decided to stay another evening. The staff assured me that we would get reimbursed because I was told I had to do it online. I didn't want to move rooms and I reserved a higher room thinking it was the one we were in. When asked about being reimbursed, they told me it was coming. I have not received a reimbursement.

- 5/5
Beautiful property. Comfortable beds and great service.
- 4/5
Lovely property!
- 4/5
This property is sufficient in its amenities, however the price does not reflect the quality of the rooms. You can find other places with nicer, larger rooms for at least $200 less per night. Almost $600 for a standard room was difficult to justify. It may be location, as it was difficult to find anything near McCormick Place that was at an agreeable rate. It is important to note that the room was very clean and the view of the city from the 17th floor was splendid. However, I would not stay here again unless I had no other option.
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Hotel staff were super friendly. The layout of the hotel was awesome with connection to the parking garage and close proximity to places we were visiting.

parking was a nightmare. we parked in the self-park in/out privileges, but our room card never worked to let us out. we were told to reactivate

- 1/5
The employee on the reception tried to charge me for something already paid. Also they charged me $60 for valet parking without telling me and it was not easy to find their parking lot keeping in mind they charged me another $59 for parking. Worst experience ever
- 1/5
We got charged an extra $70 for a cleaning fee when the room was left in suitable conditions.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean and comfortable. Did not like that when we returned from our concert there was no soda machines and only a select amount of soda to order from room service and way more expensive than getting out of a soda machine.
- 5/5
Super clean and quiet room.
- 5/5
Uber or taxi are the best options for seeing anything in the city center. Fortunately, both are plentiful at the hotel.

The stay was great. The restaurant was under staffed and sat for a long time waiting for service but a manager jumped in and took our order.

I was in Chicago for the AC/DC concert, which was held at soldier Field. This hotel is a nice property which is close and within walking distance of events at soldier Field. My only complaint is that it took 45 minutes to check into the hotel. The line to check-in was phenomenal. I think the Hotel could’ve properly planned to have had at least every station available for check-in to be open.
