Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the hotel's location, views, and amenities such as the pool and balcony rooms. However, cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms, as well as issues with parking and extra fees, are frequently mentioned concerns.
- Great location and views
- Amenities like pool and balcony rooms
- Cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms
- Parking issues and extra fees

Property was very nice but the balcony area could use some maintenance. Please be aware there is no in room refrigeration just a fee for beverage fridge. Other than that I had no issues with this property! Would book again just wont bring back any leftovers lol

Great place will come back again !

Our new favorite Chicago hotel !

Nice clean hotel. Pool was more for training than for fun for kids..

An incredible hotel in a gorgeous building. They were very nice about our dogs and we fell in love with Chicago 💙

Everything The price and no free breakfast
- 5/5
There wasn’t anything not to like about this hotel. Came down for the Chicago Blues Fest so the location was perfect.
- 4/5
Enjoyed the Fire Lake restaurant and the outdoor pool with the view of the other buildings. Didn’t like having to call the desk to have the room refreshed, twice.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, perfect location. Will definitely make this a regular hotel to stay at while in Chicago.
- 3/5
The bad- Never in my life have I had to pay extra for an early check in. 50 bucks to check in a whole hour before "proper" check in time. Next- the balcony- there are no chairs or tables to actually sit on it. It's just an empty balcony. Next the steam room off the gym- smells like mold and mildew. The TV in the room isn't centered correctly so you need to stay on one side of the bed to see it. Parking- you can't leave once you park or you get charged again and valet is 80 bucks a day. I felt nickel and dimed the whole stay. Summary- there are plenty of hotels in that area- choose another one!
- 4.5/5
Convenient location, clean lovely room and I loved the sheets. We spent 10 minute trying to find our way out of the parking garage and to the lobby. Then spent fifteen minutes getting back into the garage and finding the car.

Close to millennium park and river walk. Handheld shower didn't work and shower gel bottles were empty and when asked to refill those they took 45 minutes to refill resulting in delays to our plans.
- 5/5
Great location. Wonderful hotel gym, I have only good things to say
- 3.5/5
Clean room and great location close to all major attractions! Front desk staff not helpful. No bellman available to help with luggage in and out of the rooms.
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic!
- 2/5
They don’t have free breakfast even a single bottle of water costs 6 dls. They made hidden charges in my card and I wasn’t able to get a good explanation about the charges. I don’t recommend this place. It’s a waste of money for nothing else than a small room.
- 4.5/5
Excellent facilities and great location. Gym and pools above expectations.
- 5/5
We stayed over the weekend for a concert at soldier field and this hotel was just fabulous! Comfortable, clean, quiet & top-notch city views on balcony!
- 4/5
Restaurant food was average/ good No food in Starbucks Was a very busy weekend elevators were busy Very clean and welcoming staff Modern and nice size pool we didn’t get to try with our schedule

What an incredible experience. Check in was easy and fast. Staff was friendly. The room was small but very clean. We also had a balcony. The bar downstairs was okay but I wasn’t a fan of the food. The gym was excellent. It had most things that my local gym provided.

- 5/5
The hotel was within walking distance from the event we were participating in. The room was spacious. The details in design of the room were impeccable. Every employee was very courteous, respectful and welcoming. This was our second time in Chicago and I believe the right hotel makes the stay better! The Mag Mile is within walking distance. Lots to see and do around the hotel.
- 4/5
The primary reason we chose the hotel was location and the availability of a balcony. On those counts, the hotel was ideal. The staff at check-in were less than welcoming, but the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The available breakfast was disappointing, so we went elsewhere after the first morning. The room was clean and comfortable, and the indoor jacuzzi on the third floor provided a welcome respite. The lobby bar was extremely noisy, and the property was somewhat overwhelmed by the coming and going of wedding guests for several weddings, but our room was quiet. Overall, we had a good experience and we would consider returning to the hotel.
- 4/5
There was some type of construction going on at the end of our hall that was loud and woke us up more than once.
- 5/5
Bellhop Hasan was so great!
- 4/5
Great staff especially the concierge chap. Decent size room The tv and lights didn’t work but they fixed them immediately. No hassle.
- 2.5/5
Breakfast was a bit overpriced for what you get and service was quite slow. Large, unusual stains on the furniture. Tight hallways, weird interior design and the place looks much older than it actually is. For the price, this was well below expectations.
- 5/5
This was an amazing experience! This hotel is very upscale and the staff was amazing especially the doorman . I definitely recommend this property!
- 4/5
$1,500 for two nights here was overly expensive for what we were paying. Other than that, the hotel was great, I think — but for the price, I expected it to feel more high-end.
- 5/5
Great Hotel
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was great, and breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic. The only complaint is the phone number on the valet ticket does not work. We either had to call the front desk or just go to the valet desk to request our vehicle. We had walked to dinner five minutes away and tried to request our car before we left the restaurant as we had an event we had to leave for. The text message kept saying our ticket could not be found. The valet then said the phone number is incorrect. This is not good service especially for the price of the valet and the caliber of the hotel.
- 4/5
Lunch in the restaurant was delicious. Be advised the hotel now charges for early check-in and the cost varies depending on how early you are. They also charge for a late checkout by the hour.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Not worth the price. The amenities like sauna weren’t working and keep in mind the outdoor pool is only open in the summer. Staff took long to accommodate simple requests including housekeeping.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, great amenities.
- 3/5
Let me start by saying that we ate at the restaurant twice and the food and service were excellent. The problems were with the room. It was dusty and the shower was partially broken. We left at 10:30 and returned at about 7 to find that someone had hung a do not disturb sign on the handle of our door. Thought at first we must have left it by mistake but when we went inside our identical sign was hanging on the inside of the door. Room was untouched. Reported to front desk and they said they would take care of it immediately but took 45 minutes. Finally got a shower and left for dinner. This morning tried to use the hairdryer. It ran for about a minute then stopped. Intake screen was full of lint so automatically shut down. Replacement took half an hour. Self park ramp signage was poor. All in all, pretty disappointing for a Radisson
- 5/5
Would like to have a refrigerator in the room, but they brought one up for us
- 5/5
Firelake was a unique and different option when coming to bar and grill
- 4/5
The room was clean and staff was nice. We got in late and they allowed us to check in later because of this. Our bathroom was clean however the shelf to hold our soaps were falling apart so we had our soaps on the floor. The extra showerhead also did not work. We got a balcony room and was disappointed that there was not a place to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather and the sounds of the city. The last thing we had an issue with was how heavy the doors are so when others would come back to their room down the hall at 3 AM you can hear the door slam. It's still a nice property and would stay again. Great walking distance to many attractions.
- 5/5
Nice room. Appreciated upgrade. Shower door seal could be tighter, extra towels would have been nice.
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean room
- 5/5
It was great!
- 5/5
Yesss it was amazing
- 3/5
We were told our rooms were ready but they would not allow an early check-in without a fee. This was disappointing to our entire group as most hotels have allowed this for us in the past. Otherwise staff was great and would recommend.
- 5/5
Room was great! Staff was friendly! Highly recommended
- 5/5
Clean modern looking room. Close to everything.
- 5/5
Lovely rooms, the staff accommodated our party well with adjacent rooms. Enjoyed the walking track and lounges. Location was perfect for our quick weekend trip. Highly visible staff!
- 5/5
this was a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed the hotel very much!
- 3/5
Overall stay was amazing but the doors were not available for use, the hot tub had way too much chlorine in it that when you get in it will burn your eyes out! And parking fees are high but the rooms are really nice to be in. Also, they make you pay extra just to be able to have the amenities and extra for anything else inside ofcourse. The doors were locked after a certain time from the aqua garage but as I said overall stay was great.
- 5/5
Exceptional! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and we had breakfast and dinner at restaurant, the food was delicious. Highly recommend for traveling into town.
- 3/5
I stayed at this property when it first opened and was impressed. Revisiting years later, not so much. Particle board furniture with veneer wears over time. You can see it on the desks in the room. Who doesn't have shower gel/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower these days? The Radisson Blu doesn't. You'll need to keep asking housekeeping if you value bodily cleanliness. Did you know that a two lane lap pool with closed saunas and steam rooms counts as a "resort"? Well, it does. They'll charge you for it! There's just not enough here anymore to justify the cost. Your money is better spent elsewhere.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 4/5
It was good experience
- 3/5
Everything was ok I keep calling because I ask for a receipt about my deposit because I did not receive my full deposit back I keep getting the runaround
- 4/5
Really enjoyed the expanded fitness center and lap pool. Great view from room balcony. Room itself was OK, but the shower was broken.
- 5/5
N/A did not eat breakfast
- 3/5
Room floor and baseboards were filthy- dust dirt crumbs even a beer bottle cap were under bed and bench. Baseboards dusty/dirty as were corners. Bed and pillows were of mediocre quality and not comfortable. Was disappointed to have no fridge for personal items but had a cooler we brought which I was thankful for. Location is fantastic for millennium park, shopping and dining and navy pier is close by as well. If room was cleaner and pillows were better I would have rated this higher.
- 5/5
Great.
- 5/5
It was good
- 3/5
Just a mid stay, nothing special, won't stay again
- 5/5
Gorgeous building and giant balconies
- 4/5
We were able to request a mini fridge for our room. No fan was available and a microwave would have been nice. The only area for improvement was the cleanliness of our stand alone bathtub. Lots of hairs in and around the tub.
- 5/5
Probably one of the best hotels I stayed in like the bathtub
- 5/5
Clean room, Staff friendly & helpful
- 5/5
I didnt use the business facilities so i cant comment on those. I didnt bring my pets and didnt actually see any pet so i couldn't comment on being pet friendly
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, but the elevators both broke when we were there.
- 2/5
My main issue is that they overcharged me. There are so many different charges that it was difficult to keep up with, and the only receipt I received was for the resort fee. I'm now having to call to get this sorted out. Very frustrating
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Beautiful rooms great staff. Starbucks stand was convenient. Close to everything. The only thing annoying, we could never find the valet. They only had 1 working even on St Pats crazy busy weekend. Cheap toiletries (worse than suave) so bring your own or go next door to the CVS.

Room was clean but my son developed skin irritations after being in the hot tub. I was little warried about the cleaness of the hot tub water. Overall service was good. Location was superb for my trip purpose.

We had a really good stay here. Really nice staff, clean room, fairly quiet. Really nice! In a great spot to just walk around.
- 5/5
Beautiful and modern hotel in a fantastic location. I am in love with the lobby. So tastefully done and not boring. The rooms are clean and has everything you need. Nice bathrooms. The staff is really top notch, friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The entire experience was perfect! Everyone was very supportive and responsive to my needs.
- 5/5
Very clean, amenities, great view of the city, great bar downstairs
- 4/5
The bedding and bathroom was clean which was important to me. Employees nice. Inside Pool could have been warmer
- 5/5
Clean room, staff and just overall presentation of hotel.
- 1/5
Staff support, lacking, terrible parking, hidden fees
- 3/5
They won’t guarantee anything booked through Expedia. No room, no view, anything specific that you pay and up-charge for on Expedia, they will not uphold at the hotel. They will charge you extra again at the hotel.
- 5/5
Rooms very clean and the staff was very attentive
- 4/5
No microwave or refrigerator but i knew that going in. I only stayed 1 night so it wasnt a deal breaker. If I was to stay more than 1 night, I probably would have picked another hotel that had those amenities. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and a very convenient location with easy access to shopping, musuems & restaurants. It has a lovely event space and areas to mingle and/or relax.
- 4/5
Yes, the room was spotless and the staff were very friendly. I understand the lap pool needs to be cool, but it was cold.
- 5/5
Special thanks to Cynthia who checked us in as well as out and professionally acknowledged a minor issue I had with regard to not being aware of the lack of a refrigerator in room. Very much appreciated.
- 5/5
Room was very nice, views were fantastic and the restaurant was excellent
- 3/5
I had difficulty accessing my room. I had to return to the front desk twice to tell them they key card wasn't working. I spoke with several different employees. Not one offered any sort of apology. One took my card, authorized another one & handed it to me without saying a word. When I returned, a woman rolled her eyes & called Security. I must say the security person was very nice & had a sense of humor. Everyone else treated me like a bothersome old woman.
- 5/5
Exactly what we needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel nice friendly staff. I loved the view.
- 5/5
Stay was great although valet was expensive!
- 5/5
Our room was nice and clean. The balcony rooms have a little more space than the rooms without a balcony. Very nice and friendly staff all around the Hotel. I love staying here for stacations.
- 5/5
Excellent front desk, rooms, pool/whirlpool and especially gym.
- 3/5
I wish there was access to a fridge or microwave. I wish they had complimentary breakfast “grab & go” is not a good term you have to go to the restaurant to buy. Staff was great.
- 4/5
Breakfast- N/A
- 4/5
The rooms are not as pristine as I expected given the hotel being rated 4.5 stars. But it is still very clean and looks nice. Rooms have no mini fridge, which was unexpected.
- 5/5
Allowed early arrival.
- 3/5
Cleanliness.. tables/Tv stand and other counter tops were so dusty in our room.

- 5/5
wonderful hotel and loved the pool. sauna was mysteriously out of action the moment the hotel emptied a big wedding party for the weekend.
- 3/5
For being a 5 star rating hotel im a little disappointed. The staff was nice. The room was okay. I thought for sure it would have a fridge or a microwave in the room. It did not, the hot tub was warm not hot, when you walk into where the pool is, it was a strong chlorine smell. The only thing that was best at that hotel was the restaurant they had great food and great drinks.
- 5/5
The whole experience was pleasant and seamless. Would especially shout out for the food and service in the restaurant and the amazing fitness facilities.
- 4/5
Nice amenities, just wish the sauna and steam room were working.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good
- 4/5
I wasn't told about a breakfast.
- 5/5
We enjoyed ourselves during our stay at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels and bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The breakfast was delicious. The restaurant staff treated my grandchildren with kindness. I definitely plan on going back.

- 2/5
Location was good Poor service Expensive for such poor service Hot tub and pool we’re over chorinated/dirty Elevator s broke down Ice machines didn’t work States that the room has a balcony but you can’t use the balcony OVERPRICED
- 5/5
The room was spotless yet comfortable. We stayed in the Ambassador Suite with a view of Maggie Daley Park. The bathroom had a large shower and a bidet toilet. The only thing missing was a fridge and microwave. We stayed overnight NYE so the elevators were a little slow during check out. Otherwise I had a great stay!
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable
- 5/5
It was a great location, easy to walk to different museums and restaurants.
- 3/5
Check in rooms not ready
- 5/5
Staff, particularly the bell staff, was very helpful. The hotel's location is fantastic. Restaurant in the lobby is delicious. Indoor pool provided some end of day relaxing fun. Room was beautiful.
- 5/5
Very clean room and Nice staff!
- 5/5
The staff was great. The view from the balcony was beautiful! The room was clean and in a great location! I will def visit again!
- 2/5
Our room smelled liked mildew and around the sliding glass door needs to be fixed. There was water coming in through the sliding glass doors
- 1/5
The hotel is poorly cleaned. We left drink glasses by the pool lounge one night and they were still there the next morning. Rooms and windows were dirty, and paying extra for a city view is pointless when all you see is filthy glass. They claim to serve Starbucks coffee, but it was basically hot milk. Not kid friendly at all. Even the kids, who can sleep anywhere, said this was one of the worst hotels they have stayed at and do not want to come back. Super soft, uncomfortable pillows. Would not recommend
- 5/5
The overall experience was excellent!
- 1/5
Check-in took 25 minutes which was annoying. Gentleman who helped us with outlet bags to our room was awesome! Room was nice but dirty, especially around edging on floor and dusty headboard area. All of that I could overlook but at 10:00 pm we unfortunately had complained of a loud neighbor next door yelling and cursing continually in room 425 and staff said they would take care of it. It stopped for an hour then resumed again for hours. We checked out a night early due to not having conflict with the neighbor. Staff could care less or even apologize for the inconvenience. I will never stay here again. Very disappointed and my family Christmas getaway upsetting.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The only thing was that some of the windows were dirty, but being a high rise I understand they don’t clean them weekly. I would stay there again
- 5/5
Staff and the room were great!
- 1/5
A refrigerator should be standard in a family room, not something that needs to be specially requested. Alcohol should be optional and available upon request, not automatically placed in rooms with children. There was also no microwave in the room or anywhere on the property to heat food, making this an inconvenient and unfriendly option for families with kids. We were also charged a $26 nightly resort fee for pool access, something that should already be a basic amenity, yet the steam room and sauna included in the resort were not even working. Most staff were unaccommodating and condescending, with the exception of the wonderful server at FireLake restaurant. Overall, this hotel is not family-friendly and does not offer the value or service it claims. We would not recommend it to families traveling with children.
- 5/5
Best hotel in the city
- 1/5
My
- 5/5
just a great experience
- 4/5
The overall stay was wonderful! The hotel is beautiful, the workout area is one of the best hotel workout spaces I’ve seen, the hot tub was a nice touch, and the service was great! My one suggestion is to add another trash can in the bathroom (there was none in there), and to add a trash can sack in the only trash can in the room.
- 5/5
I was put in the wrong room the woman at guests services sorted the situation out quickly with no problems.
- 3/5
Our room, in particular, was a significant disappointment. We found its ambiance to be rather sterile and unwelcoming, evoking a clinical rather than a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Beyond the aesthetic, we encountered practical issues that impacted our comfort: the bathroom sink was notably clogged, and the handheld shower head was unfortunately non-functional throughout our stay. On a more positive note, the inclusion of a balcony was a pleasant feature that we appreciated. We also noted the extensive selection of items in the mini-bar; however, their exorbitant pricing was prohibitive. Indeed, my husband found it more economical and convenient to purchase all our snacks and beverages from a nearby CVS, located just a two-minute walk from the hotel. We were, however, pleased to utilize the VIP credit provided, which we gratefully applied towards our breakfast. Considering these various factors, our overall impression of the stay was regrettably mediocre. While some elements were satisfactory, the recurring issues with the room’s comfort and functionality, combined with the pricing of in-room amenities, significantly impacted our experience. As such, and with regret, we do not anticipate booking a return stay at this hotel again
- 5/5
great
- 5/5
Common areas were nice. Server we had for breakfast at the restaurant was great! Staff were very accommodating overall. The beds were comfortable. Some of the furniture could use updating. Would stay again.
- 2/5
The hotel was clean, really nice, and the staff was polite. The reason for a bad review is i was there for two days and did not have hot water to be able to shower.. when i complained all that was said is sorry we are having that issue with the whole hotel and “tried” to credit me for the water bottle i drank in my room even though i already have credit on the room to cover it
- 5/5
This is a wonderful property. It is clean and modern and has a friendly and accommodating staff.
- 3/5
Staff was courteous
- 5/5
Great hotel, close to shopping and restaurants, excellent customer service, highly recommend.
- 5/5
Hotel was amazing all around! Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean rooms and a Starbucks!
- 5/5
Service was excellent, room was very clean and modern, easily excessable
- 5/5
Nice, spacious room with a great view. Wonderful service and many things within walking distance. Would stay again!
- 5/5
Great staff.. valet service was great.. the bellmen were awesome.. rooms and views were great as well..
- 5/5
Awesome staff and location
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu, but the highlight was the exceptional service from the doorman working on 12/6/2025. He was genuinely welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my departure seamless. His kindness and professionalism truly elevated our experience. Thank you for having such outstanding staff!
- 5/5
Balcony was greatly appreciated
- 1/5
Upon entering the room, we noticed the sheets were dirty, including what appeared to be blood spots. When I requested either a new room or cleaning service, I was told housekeeping would come. Instead, someone dropped a clean blanket at the door & expected us to change the bedding ourselves—completely unacceptable. On top of that, the power in our entire suite kept shutting off randomly. Engineering came to look at it but admitted they had no idea why it was happening, suggesting it “might be a sensor issue” & that we should request to be moved. We explained we had already been told the hotel had no other rooms available. With no resolution offered & no safe or comfortable place for our family of three, we ultimately had to pack up everything we had already unpacked & leave the same day. We were forced to book a last-minute stay at another hotel, spending hundreds of dollars because of this hotel’s lack of cleanliness, professionalism, & basic hospitality. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I hope management seriously evaluates the conditions of their rooms and the way staff handles guest concerns.
- 1/5
They gave me a corner room that was dusty and dirty
- 5/5
Yea
- 4/5
However, the media/game room had broken and outdated equipment, including only one usable pool cue. The elevator situation wasn’t ideal, and the property overall could have been a bit cleaner.
- 3/5
Staff was very accommodating and customer centric, however housekeeping and maintenance was not up to par. I did not notice until my shower in the morning so I’m sure they would have switched me but the showers had build up and only the overhead part worked. Also the balcony needed a deep scrub as well, there was lots of built of residue and I’m not sure if it was due to snow but it was noticeable. Other than the bathroom and balcony, 10/10. Because of those issues, 7/10.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and good location to all of the city
- 4/5
Love the place! But my room was dirty! The bathroom had hair all over
- 5/5
Absolute WONDERFUL stay! ❤️
- 4/5
Room was very nice and staff was pleasant.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, loved the balcony! We stayed 2 nights for my daughters bday and she had a blast! We walked to her favorite pizza pub and the icecream museum. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I mentioned she was celebrating her 11th bday and everyone there reminded her how special she is. The basketball court was a plus for our 9yr son and the pool worked for the size. Definitely will be coming back
- 5/5
The rooms were immaculate, the staff was outstanding, warm and welcoming! The entire facility was top rated and gorgeous. We will be returning the next time we are in Chicago.
- 3/5
The room has no microwave, no fridge. The available fridge is for their mini bar.
- 5/5
Great amenities

This was our 2nd time staying at the Radisson Blu Aqua. It located in the heart of downtown Chicago within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, & sights. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, & accommodating. Our room was clean and had a fantastic view of the city. We did not eat at the restaurant & bar as it was expensive and more than we were willing to pay. We did use the gym and it is a tricked out gym, one of the best. Would recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Located in the Heart of the Magnificent Mile. Great Staff. Walkable area. Nice restaurant. I will be back.
- 4/5
The location of the property
- 5/5
The room was clean, staff very nice and helpful. I used the hot tub and the gym. I have been to the hotel's banquet room before for work events. I ordered breakfast and it was yummy. One suggestion, you always hear people say this abt hotels. Oh the lobby smelled soo good. Well my only suggestion is to put that same air freshener in the rooms. The room had that closed up dusty smell.Otber than that my stay was great. I can't wait to go back.
- 4/5
Too expensive for breakfast
- 4/5
Valet was great. Clean rooms
- 3/5
The room was in good shape but my car had trash and stickers put on it over night.
- 4/5
Had s great time!
- 3/5
Self parking is a labyrinthine hell. Signs and directions are misleading, random dead ends, gated off private areas, incredibly cramped with concrete pillars everywhere. They have a pressure sensitive mini bar, anything moves and you’re immediately billed. They put this uncovered on one of the few tables intentionally (at least the staff warn you). AC was pitiful.
- 5/5
Dust the headboards. Other than that really no complaints.
- 5/5
Beautiful location & great service.
- 5/5
Great experience! This was a beautiful hotel and they provided excellent service.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and friendly. Very nice and safe place. No complaints.
- 5/5
Very relaxing
- 5/5
Great views, clean room and quiet for its location in the heart of Downtown Chicago. Will stay there again!
- 2/5
Grubby room with floors that need a good revamp
- 4/5
Clean room. Breakfast was good. Service time a bit slow one of the days. Overall staff is very helpful. Room was clean and very nice

From the room, the service, valet, and bellman I can say everything was exceptional. Radisson Blu is very cleanly, and everything was very neat and beautiful. Truly was a great experience and is definitely on my list to stay again!
- 5/5
Great stay. Location perfect and employees very friendly.
- 5/5
The room was spotless...I was there for the tub which did not disappoint... It was clean deep and relaxing.
- 5/5
Clean, quick check in, helpful and speedy valet
- 4/5
Who was clean, staff was very friendly.

Great hotel. Conveniently located with great rooms, nice lobby and good service.
- 5/5

Stayed the first weekend in October 2025, the room was comfortable and cozy. Beds are a bit squeaky. Biggest issue was that the air con never cooled the room down sufficiently. The weekend we were in Chicago was unusually warm (mid 80s) so we expected that our room would’ve cooled down when we got back to it, however, it was not. Called guest services only to be told that the air con has a sensor and will cool the room down in about 20ish mins. Seems silly that I can’t expect my room to maintain the temp I set while out of it
- 5/5
Love the balcony and outdoor pool still open. Thanks
- 4/5
The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. It was also reasonably priced especially being in the heart of the city. We stayed in for dinner and had a very nice meal-everyone was happy with their food. All of the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were good and we did valet parking without any issues. I would stay here again and recommend to others. My only issue is I do not believe we got our $25 VIP credit.
- 5/5
Wonderful front desk staff, housekeeping and valet parking! Thanks for being kind and friendly.
- 4/5
We weren't offered breakfast anywhere that I was aware of. The balcony view was OK. Noisy part of town.
- 5/5
Love the deep soaking bathtub and the balcony
- 5/5
The property & staff were amazing! I can’t say enough things about my stay at this location. I will be back again. Thank you for such warm hospitality!
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Excellent Location and beautiful views from the rooms!
- 5/5
My favorite hotel in Chicago. Great location. Fair pricing. I love the restaurant. In fact, it was the only restaurant I went to. The food is excellent.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good, basic amenities, no problems what so ever! Great room if your here for a show festival play or concert.
- 4/5
It was fine. It was very overpriced. Also make sure to bring your own shampoo and especially conditioner. Parking was way over priced as well.
- 5/5
The balcony was nice
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly & helpful staff, fantastic amenities, beautiful & safe surrounding area, with plenty to do within minutes from the hotel. Family friendly. Highly recommend!
- 1/5
I am quite disappointed and would not stay at this hotel on my future trips to Chicago. They recognized there was an exorbitant nightly rate and chose not to correct the wrong.
- 5/5
10/10 on everything
- 5/5
Only thing is having to pay for parking since the hotel doesn't have their own parking.
- 2/5
Pillows uncomfortable and the room air conditioning wouldn't stay cool, parking very inconvenient.
- 5/5
For my first time there I was impressed, starting with the concierge she was nice and reiterated how much I was going to love this room and she was right.
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 5/5
Clean room. Starbucks on site
- 4/5
Decent option. Nothing unique.
- 5/5
Close to everything
- 2/5
Linens and towels need upgraded. The desk and TV had seen better days. Room needs painted as walls are scuffed and smudged. Staff was very friendly; the room was just severely tired.
- 3/5
Staff was great and the hotel is very nice. Inside our room was nice as well. But having said that, the TV didn't work, one of the blinds did NOT close, and the bathroom door is a closet door that doesn't latch and left a 2 inch gap so everyone could hear EVERYTHING that is done in the restroom.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, soft beds, nice room. 10 out of 10 highly recommend and would I would definitely stay here again
- 2/5
We were charged extra for a refrigerator, there were no house shoes or microwave available and we had to call several times to have the room cleaned.
- 5/5
Theodore was excellent!!!! His “can do” attitude made my visit great!
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 5/5
Check in was quick and easy
- 5/5
The staff are over the top! Every single one from check in to restaurant. They were perfect!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
The employees are nice and the room was great.
- 4/5
We were there for a wedding. Facility is overall nice very expensive per night but cleaning service was no where to be found they didn’t refresh waters or coffee and they didn’t clean the room only brought fresh towels. At least three light bulbs were out and the makeup mirror was pretty much hanging by a thread so my wife couldn’t use to get ready. Not a big deal but expected for the price. The room the groomsmen were put in was clean to the eye but the fridge had left over food from previous party and food splatter all over the microwave. Refreshments and light snacks were to be supplied but weren’t given to us until an hour later and us asking for them.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
The hotel lobby was beautiful. It was very busy but the staff was friendly and check in was fast. The rooms were clean. The balcony was plain but the city view was incredible.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean. Great staff.
- 5/5
Love this place
- 4/5
Nice staycation
- 3/5
This was disappointing from the start. After waiting 20 mins in a check-in line since there was only one front desk girl on duty, I was told the room wasn’t ready. I arrived around 1:30 and I thought since this was a vip hotel I would receive this perk. Needed to go to the restroom but the only one in the lobby was locked and they only had one key and gave it to another person so I waited and waited. Really ?? Went to get a bite in the restaurant but not a great selection and they didn’t give me my discount vip coupon at the desk , so I paid for it by credit card. The clerk should have told me upon arrival. Room was nice but basic. The bad service at the front desk and restaurant overshadowed the nice hotel. There are too many great hotel choices in Chicago and I would stay here only if it was a good deal
- 5/5
GREAT LOCATION. CVS RIGHT DOWN THE BLOCK.I HAVE STAYED HERE AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS
- 4/5
Staff was excellent. Views were stunning from the balcony. There was a little water damage from the shower door in the bathroom so there looked to be mold.
- 4/5
The lack of a usable refrigerator was disappointing
- 5/5
Have to share amenities with the full time residents. Part hotel and part apartments. Parking is to a separate vendor than the hotel so be aware of having to pay this separately.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and homey
- 1/5
The closet smells so bad. The rooms are small. There are many hotels near by with way better service, rooms condition and same price. Not recommended.
- 5/5
Clean and convenient hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and updated. Nice view and friendly Front Desk staff I’d stay again.
- 5/5
Awesome building and great location. Lots of great things nearby. Would stay there again. Parking is tricky access under the city level, but we were able to figure it out.
- 5/5
We had a fabulous time - great hotel & all the amenities were great (outside pool, fitness center, restaurant, etc). Wonderful location - we walked everywhere. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Outdoor pool and jogging path. Great views
- 5/5
Very beautiful clean place
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Very amazing not my first time but if you stay out after valet leave the parking garage sucks
- 5/5
Was just want we needed ! Clean room with a great view of the pool
- 5/5
The ice machine was out, very minor, and the night audit was not guest-friendly. The manager Josh allowed me to vent and he acknowledged the problem without any excuse. Thank you, Jose and I will return to your beautiful hotel.
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and provides endless views of the best of Chicago. Thank you!
- 5/5
I very much enjoyed this hotel. Plan on staying here again in the future.
- 5/5
The hot tub/ pool option both inside and outside of the building is a cool feature. The rooms are nice and spacious and with a balcony option! Great views and great room amenities. The hotel even provides a mini fridge upon request for personal beverages. I recommend a stay here!

- 5/5
Concierge was awesome
- 4/5
beautiful hotel. everything was up to par except the internet. not sure why but this beautiful hotel barely had service.. even without the wi-fi. another downside, no fridge!! how??? makes no sense. other than that, the restaurant downstairs was delicious!! make sure you get some food from there, you won’t be disappointed. the hotel is close to everything in the downtown area. don’t uber, just walk out & enjoy the views!! 9/10 for me :)
- 1/5
I usually only stay at Marriot and Hilton properties. However I gave Radisson a chance. Never again
- 5/5
BluAqua is close to all the things we went to Chicago for. I've wanted to stay here for so long based on the architecture. It did not disappoint.
- 5/5
Convenient location near millennium park and Chicago river walk. Driving using gps and walking is tricky due to different street levels. Remember to ask about any vip perks via expedia as they didn't mention it. No fridge in our room and i didn't bother to ask.
- 5/5
Loved the stay, will be coming back
- 5/5
every single person from the front desk to housekeeping , to any employee at the pool or just in the hallway were so kind and helpful! the room was amazing and all the amenities were fantastic . i used the outdoor pool everyday, sauna and workout room, didn’t get to play basketball or shoot pool but next time !!! 5 stars for sure , the only thing i would tell them to add add are cushy robes !!
- 5/5
Beautiful place and clean.
- 5/5
Nice location. Great pool. Shout out to the bartender, Christian!
- 5/5
Very nice exercised, did yoga, walked on run pad. Very pleasant staff
- 5/5
Close to bean and shopping!
- 5/5
great stay
- 5/5
The swimming pool needs to be clean at least three times a day
- 5/5
The location was great and the windows open to bring in fresh air. Plus, nice city views from the pool area.
- 5/5
I like that the hotel is walking distance from navy pier. Love pool hours and amenities hours. Did not like when I would call to ask questions I was on hold for 35 mins. Had to hang up and redial still be put on hold.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing
- 5/5
Great location, nice size rooms with balconies.
- 4/5
Very nice staff. In a good area in the city
- 3/5
The power went out in room they final
- 4/5
Overall a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom large. I enjoyed the outdoor pool. The only negative was being next to elevators and the noise from the hallway when people were getting back to their rooms. I would stay again but perhaps in a quieter room.
- 5/5
Kids loved the rooftop pool. Great location, comfortable beds and friendly staff
- 5/5
Service from front end was great and helpful. Room was spacious and worked perfectly for me and my daughter.
- 1/5
Extremely understaffed. From valet to front desk to housekeeping. Room was very hot and humid even with thermostat turned down to 65°. Lots of scratches on wood floors. Unfriendly staff at front desk and at bar. Bar area was hot and humid. Room was not made up until almost 5 pm. Towels just thrown on the sink instead of hung up. Valet when checking out was 45 minutes. Definitely not worth the amount they charge!
- 4/5
Property was nice and the room was spacious. Hard to find trash bins within the hotel. Parking fee is outrageous for no reason!!! Hotel restaurant overpriced and unimpressive. Breakfast was great but the steaks at dinner were mediocre.
- 4/5
Very unfortunate that my first experience at this hotel was beautiful up until realizing that's the only thing missing from my duffle bag. Staff should be screened better because I know for a fact who our bags were handed to and he is a THIEF!
- 1/5
I will never book here again . Beds are small not queensthe service is not that great.
- 5/5
Food from the restaurant smelled great, but we didn't eat there. One of the best locations in the city. Close to everything worth seeing. Beautiful outdoor area around the pool. Access to Pedway was a time saver! Great experience overall.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
I've stayed here a few times before and it seems things have slipped since then. Little things - like I didn't get a wakeup call, when I asked for a blanket I was told they don't do those in the summer but would try, what I got was stained, you have to specially request a fridge because the room only has a non-usable minibar, there weren't any bathmat towels so I was given an extra big towel to use. All of these are little but add up. It also would be lovely if there were chairs on the balconies. The staff were great, it just seems that for an expensive hotel in Chicago, these details should be taken care of. Finally, and perhaps it's because I booked here instead of their website, but the room I was given was much less nice than the ones I've been in in the past - it was like being in a much different and cheaper hotel.
- 2/5
We also did not receive housekeeping. One day they knocked on the door at 4pm which is much too late. The room had only 2 towels despite us being 3 people. We called and requested sheets for the sofa bed and an additional towel and they only brought the sheets. We also did not receive the $25 credit at the restaurant. The pool was nice and access to food and drink while swimming was also convenient.
- 4/5
We had corner king room and it was very nice! We saw the city and the pool. The only thing I didn’t like was no complimentary water and cookies like most hotels. Sometimes the water be on point after walking and traveling. It’s thoughtful.
- 5/5
Food at the restaurant was good. Rotisserie chicken
- 3/5
Customer service was lacking, we called for extra blankets and one was dirty upon arrival. We also called for the daily provided room refresh and no one showed.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience! Staff friendly, clean and food great!
- 4/5
Excelente, confortable la habitación !

Great location. Perfect for Lolapolooza

I wanted to experience staying on the top floor because I've stayed a few times and
- 3/5
I loved my room. Given that there was a festival 8/1-8/3 the 12am conversations in the hallway were loud. There were dirty dishes left in the hallway for hours, no ice available on our floor (5) and I had to go up to the 10th floor for ice. However, Rogelia, from Housekeeping was a gem! Thankfully Rogelia helped me locate a working ice machine for the champagne bottle I had. The outdoor pool looked nice, and I laid out on the loungers, which was relaxing. However, there needs to be an age limit for who can go into the hot tub. I saw three young ladies in the hot tub and suddenly a woman told her two small children (under 11 years old) to jump in to keep warm! If your children are cold, then they should go to their hotel room to get warm. One of the children said 'this isn't that warm'. That was a huge imposition on the three young women, having an adult conversation, to have two small children jump in such a small, contained space. Perhaps the small the children's pool on the rooftop could be heated, as a solution. That is a more appropriate place for a child. Not amongst adults who are strangers.
- 4/5
The property was nice but overcharged everything not worth the value.
- 5/5
Loved all the amenities in the heart of downtown!! vibe was on point!!
- 5/5
Excellent from every aspect. Courteous staff, clean rooms, clean building, easy parking connected to the hotel, Starbucks and a restaurant, quiet, easy access to shopping/dining, very walkable and safe area. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
We had a 3 hour wait for a room after arriving 2-1/2 hours after check-in. They did comp us a meal at the restaurant and upgraded our room. Beware they will charge you service fees on check-out. Under the beds were so dirty. My 14 year old found a random pill, which is slightly concerning. Otherwise, it was decent.
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel! Great room, gorgeous tile floors, plus I even got a balcony with a stunning view. The pool area is wonderful and $25 resort credit turned into 2 tasty beers poolside. Staying here in the summer is an absolute treat!
- 4/5
Overall it's a nice hotel. The rooms though are setup such that the doors make so much noise when they open and shut and are so unwieldy that it's not always quiet in the room. We stayed for the outdoor pool, but if it wasn't for that amenity (the be fair, the pool really is a great spot and backdrop overlooking the city) there are better places nearby by far.
- 4/5
We did utilize our restaurant credit and the food was delicious, drinks were great! Really, best flatbread pizza I have ever had. The room was really nice and big enough for all of us to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable, nice bathroom and spacious shower. Only issue was the bathroom door was broken and would not close all the way but it didn't bother us enough to complain. My main complaint was the pools, both were lap pools with no stairs in/out and with bad knees, I would not have been able to climb the ladder to get out. The pools were also freezing cold so we were unable to utilize them anyways, after looking forward to a nice swim after walking around the city all day. Also, the indoor hot tub was under construction. The whole area looked really dated. Considering the "resort fee", a pool upgrade would be a good improvement. Overall, we loved this hotel and it was so conveniently located to everything we were doing and easy to get to the train to get to our concert. All staff were super friendly with the exception of the first older lady at the reception desk. Everyone else was great! Would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Room AC also was slow but tolerable, may be a different story when it’s hotter outside. Overall, a good spot
- 5/5
Amazing time very clean, pool was amazing with a nice patio area adjacent with plenty of seating options and cabanas. Will be back for sure
- 3/5
Check in was at 3 and i git a room at 5
- 2/5
Had a really horrible experience at check in ( I should be contacted about this)do not upgrade your room when encouraged to, the room was not as clean upon checking. There was hair in the tub and on the sofas but it was too late to request help. The pricing for the week we stayed was astronomical (700 a night). Parking is tricky, valet was 81 dollars but they don’t work at night ; 61 dollars a day for self parking but no in/outs. The location of the hotel is really nice and walkable to several tourist attractions. Didn’t take full advantage of the hotel amenities
- 5/5
Loved our stay! Very close to all the action
- 5/5
Great service, room was very comfortable and very clean. We love the pool area, the walk way and also the gym is great.
