Really nice staff. I can’t remember the guys name who helped me park my car outside but he was amazing. Pool was clean. The locker rooms were really nice. Overall great experience. Will definitely stay again.

Really nice room. The view was worth the money. Close to all the touristy spots and nice restaurants. Didn’t use WiFi or breakfast. So can’t comment on that. But we would definitely stay here again if we returned

Hotel and location are wonderful! Clean and staff friendly! Only complaint is the on site self parking is way to expensive. It’s $75 per day and you can pay cheaper at a self parking lot right by. Also the $30 dollar resort fee plus tax is crazy! They give you $15 credit and say go to the bar and get 2 drinks but the drinks are expensive and you end up paying more than $15 dollars. A beer is 14 dollars and we had 2 cocktails and it was $63! Plus we tipped. The room was $421 per night for a river view which is expensive but we did it for 4 nights and splurged. But with parking and the $30 per night fee for 4 nights it cost us an additional $600! Crazy! Not sure if I will stay again there! It was our second time we stayed there and they didn’t have us pay to park and there wasn’t a resort fee. Was in 2021.

The location being right in the city and walking distance was great. The room was a bit dated. There was no hooks in the bathroom to hang our robs or clean cloths for after you shower. There was a dingy retractable cloths line along the curtain rod to hang your wet towels and suites but deemed pointless. We didn’t request housekeeping and upon return to our room they had indeed been in our room. The shower took a VERY long time to drain leaving you standing in dirty water. The over flow feature in the tub wasn’t working, thank god I was paying attention or it would have over flown and flooded the bathroom. The cherry on top was while packing I lifted the blankets to make sure we didn’t forget anything or lost a sock while sleeping the sun proved there was MOLD threw out the ENTIRE throw blanket!!!!! We slept two nights under what we thought was a clean bed. We took a video and at check out showed the gentleman at the service desk and he proceeded to tell us that it’s not mold it’s just the down feathers have changed colors and that happens after so many washes. He was going to let housekeeping know so they can take it out of circulation. As someone that has down pillows AND blankets at home I’m POSITIVE this was mold but he just kept saying it was the feathers. He then proceeded to tell me he would take $25 off my bill for the bedding and give us an extra $25 off for inconvenience and $15 for unused food credits. We left as we had other things to attend to. I had gotten an updated copy of the receipt and was only given $25 off. THIS STAY COST ME OVER $1200 FOR 2 NIGHTS!!!!! They add a $30 per day destination fee PLUS and extra 1.5% fee for TID. Didn’t get that email tell 3 days before our trip( too late to cancel without fees). $75 dollars a day for parking your not guaranteed will be available each time you leave? Don’t let the beautiful exterior fool you. This hotel is a waste of money and a health hazard.

My first stay was 100% warmer than this time when it came down to some staff members, also clean windows in and out would extremely add to the staying experience and increase the appreciation of the views. Great location though.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which we appreciated. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. The pillowcases, sheets, and comforters were not changed daily, even when there were visible stains on them. We were traveling with a child who accidentally spilled on the bedding, so we expected it would be noticed and replaced, but we had to specifically request it. We also noticed that the tables and surfaces were not being wiped down regularly. Another downside was the noise. The walls are thin, and you can hear almost everything from neighboring rooms, while they can likely hear you as well. It made it difficult to fully relax at times. A small disappointment, but not a big deal was there was no bathrobes and slippers, which are amenities we’ve come to expect at similar hotels. Overall, we liked the property and the staff, but the noise levels, and cleanliness standards definitely left room for improvement.

I reached the hotel at 7pm and the staff told me that there is NO room available for you! I had a reservation. EXTREMELY rude staff. They said the same to a couple of people before me who were equally angry. Everyone must avoid this hotel. They could not care less about their guests. Despicable.

I'm so grateful to have found this place! Literally everyone who works here and we have come across was extremely friendly and helpful! ❤️ I asked for a river view because we were celebrating my birthday, and they gave us a room with a gorgeous view of the river and the lake on a high floor. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no pet fee. We brought our pup with us and he was so welcomed. Will definitely come back!!

- 3/5
It's located in a nice area of the city. It's got some age on it, and is overpriced for the condition of the property. No valet but you are charged to park. Several other fees added at check in. Just not greadtvc
- 4/5
My only gripe was the destination fee tacked on at check-in. While these fees are becoming more common at city hotels, it caught me off guard, Overall, a fantastic one-night getaway — especially if you snag a river view room. Just go in knowing about the destination fee so it doesn’t dampen the excitement of an otherwise wonderful stay.
- 3.5/5
Lovely location Rooms were a bit dark, one light had to be replugged for it to work
- 1/5
Great location Terrible check-in experience. Checkout was unpleasant as well. Had to be on the line 3 times to check in. There was destination charge. But the credit linked to the destination charge was only given to one room while two rooms were booked. We didn’t have a chance to use the credit, it was not clearly explained how to use the credit and other benefits. This hotel seems to be stuck in 1980s. Check in and out should be no brainer with modern technology.

Room was clean, staff was nice just be prepared for extra money to spend. We were under the impression that breakfast was included and it’s not, it’s almost $40 per adult for a buffet breakfast. Convenient if you don’t want to wait for other breakfast places around you but not for us. Parking is an extra $75 added to the charge and the destination fee. Please do what we didn’t and read the fine print before selecting this hotel. The hotel is nice otherwise.

This hotel is in dire need of a renovation. Hotel rooms too small (this was an upgrade!), beds too small, TV- and night stand banged up without even a fresh coat of paint. Bathroom outdated. When somebody takes a shower in an adjacent room, the noise makes you fall out of your bed. Ridiculous resort fee of 30 bucks which covers the WiFi (in this day and age!) and a food voucher of 15 bucks. We invested that in 2 cups of coffee (!). Staff didn’t even apologize when we were locked out of the room despite being granted a late check out.

Rude front desk staff except for one person. Free parking option wasn’t free, had to pay $75 a day to park. When simply asking a question about it, the staff had an attitude. Underage drinking was taking place. Security said it happens every year with the same group, and that their parents will put them up in the hotel and they couldn’t do anything about it. They broke door signs, pounded on our door and were extremely loud and disruptive. Security did nothing. Hotel staff did nothing.

I booked this for a special birthday trip for my daughter and my husband. The staff was so kind and the location was perfect. Great walking distance to lots of places. This was one of our favorite hotels. It was clean, staff was super friendly, there were so many amenities, the location is perfect.
- 4/5
The $38 price for breakfast on top of already paying around $300 for the room feels excessive. Also, the rooms could use some renovation.
- 5/5
One of the main restaurants was closed so that was a bummer as we had cash credits to use at the in house restaurants and couldn’t eat the foods we desired because it was closed. Otherwise everything else was amazing!

Great room and great service.
- 3/5
Breakfast buffet was expensive! Almost 90.00 for 2 people. Only 1 restaurant open at night and was again, very expensive. Pull out bed had dirty sheets on it and room service had to be called twice to bring up clean bedding and pillows and a blanket for our son to sleep.
- 2/5
I was out in a room with a busted HVAC. It was 89 degrees in my room, a loud squealing started around 1am.. they moved me to another room that was on opposite side, and the new room headboard is against the elevator wall. Terrible experience, little to no sleep. Will not go back!
- 4.5/5
I didn’t like that the family rooms had double beds, very small. Everything is so expensive
- 5/5
Clean, safe, well-trafficked area near many key spots in the city and a good place to start and finish each day. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Both rooms were cleaned but I hope they do some upgrades and some remodeling.
- 3.5/5
It was comfortable for me. I attended a conference hosted in the hotel and its really convenient. Location was great, close to the riverwalk, restaurants, cafes, and the Millenium park where I got to see the Bean. Housekeeping was everyday, which was nice. Destination fee is a bit too high given the facilities, at least the wifi is part of the destination fee and didn't have to pay for it. Even though I was given the 'river' view, its not much of a view to be honest.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly. Great location ! Close to Michigan Ave. and Navy Pier.

Hotel overall was very clean and every staff we interacted with were wonderful and went above and beyond! The room was great and the kids loved the view. Our only complaint was the pool area smelled very strong of mold/mildew.
- 4/5
The only downside I would point out is the cleanliness of the rooms & the food quality. When I checked in, there was trash in a trash can from the previous stay. I had ordered a shrimp po boy from room service, expecting real whole shrimp as shown in the menu photo. However, the sandwich was made with popcorn shrimp which just isn’t the same taste or quality. Overall, I would visit again but would look elsewhere for late night eats.

They were completely booked out on New Year's Eve, so they decided to equip my room with only sheets and no blanket. I had a premium King room with a river view, and I was so miserable. There was hair in the shower from a previous guest, and the shower armature was loose.

Yes. Just not what i expected a bit small for a panoramic room. However. Pillows bed super comfortable. Ice machine didnt work. Room service was good in the a.m. for breakfast.

We were accommodated an early check in at 2pm, awesome! We booked a suite which basically consists of one big suite and a connecting 2 regular size bed suite. Key cards did not work for the big suite and we were only able to enter through the small room entrance. Maintenance was supposed to fix the key pad on the big suite but that never happened. AND we found a pair of shoes near a small chair…completely obvious to anyone entering the room but housekeeping somehow missed it!? The hotel was also hosting a conference for HS or college kids. They placed my family of five on the same floor, they were outside our hallway making noise until 2am. We were given a $75 room credit for “our troubles”. FYI - this room was booked with about $400 worth of “Key Credit” and we paid an additional $300 for the “family suite”. Unfortunately we will not be returning. Thx!

This stay was awful. I took my wife out for Valentine’s Day. We have 4 children and had to pull so many strings to make this date even happen. First issue that wasn’t a huge problem, but the room we booked could not be given to us because of over booking it. Front desk associate was very nice and accommodated us with a credit for the change/downgrade. Unfortunately, it only went downhill from there. We went up to the room and decided to watch a movie. Just to be greeted by a bed bed. 100% sure it was a bed bug (have pictures). The bug was killed and filled with blood as well. We then call the hotel staff who checked the room and believed it was a bed bug as well. Then we go down stairs to check out. No talk of any accommodations, but a “hey someone will get in contact with you regarding this.”(Valentine’s Day ruined). Since it was on Saturday/Sunday morning, staff advised someone would be in touch as soon as possible. Monday comes and no phone call or email by 3pm. I have to contact the hotel to get more information. They made it seem like they were bending over backwards to give me a refund after staying there for 4 hours and finding a bed bug. Who cares about the night ruined, the type of day it was, the strings we pulled to go to the hotel and the ultimate disgusting incident. I should just be happy with the refund… RIGHT. Thanks for doing the very bare minimum. I requested a comp night at a sister hotel to make the night I lost even. Apparently that is too much to ask for
- 3/5
I feel like the pictures on the website did not depict the way the room/bathroom actually looked which is disappointing. We were not told about the breakfast buffet either at checkin.
- 4/5
We always get a room with a horrible.view even after requesting a river view.

Clean room nice pool area nice area downtown
- 3.5/5
The hotel was nice and clean and in a great location. The view from our room was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good. Checking in was a nightmare. It was Valentines Day so it was super busy and they only had a couple people working the counter to check people in. We ended up waiting in line almost 2 hours and missed our dinner reservations. The next morning there was no hot water, we tried waiting for it to kick back in but we just ended up taking cold showers.
- 5/5
Room was great
- 2/5
Not clean, found a tissue with blood on the bed and a nail. It’s impossible to leave that there if it was cleaned properly. The parking barcode had a few issues. The staff is nice but not well trained for the most part…slow to respond. $75 for park is outrageous but it was normal throughout downtown so I guess I can’t complain about that. Our sink leaked, they sent someone to repair it but then no one came to clean the mess the leak cause until the next morning. Check in line was really long on their business day. Lack of preparation, they over sold

We just didn’t realize that we would be charged an extra $30 a day plus taxes as a” destination fee”. That’s a lot of extra money.
- 4/5
Our room was great! clean and spacious. Our housekeeper very kind and thorough.
- 3/5
The guest Wifi did not work in our room. The public wifi worked in the public areas, but not in our room. The icemaker on our floor did not work. We reported it and were told it would be fixed; it wasn't. The Cubs Convention taking place at the hotel was oversold, so all the public areas were packed with people. The congestion felt unsafe, and we're sure violated safety and fire codes. We heard horror stories about people who purchased hotel packages with their Cubs Convo passes -- rooms not ready until 10 p.m. on their check-in day; rooms oversold so patrons sent to other hotels in the city. If the Sheraton is going to host such a large convention, it needs to be prepared for the number of people expected. Do Better!
- 2/5
It was close to downtown and the river. You wouldn’t really need an uber but due to the weather, it was way too cold to walk so yu decide. We spoke to a guest service representative at the front desk, Rachel and she was helpful! We were planning on staying 3 nights but due to an incoming snowstorm, we decided to change our flights and leave a day earlier. Marriot declined our request. It just seems like they want money. Also when purchasing the room back in September, we requested a double room with river view. They ended up giving us a king bed with street view. When we asked for a change, they told us we had to call our third party provider in order to get the room we requested and paid for. Also, they charge a $30 per day “resort” fee. This is not noted when you book the room. Finally, the pool is freezing! In case, you have kids who love to swim. We will not be staying here again.

Would have been helpful: more specific/accessible info on where pool is, and how elevators work. The sign stating you need to use the room key to access your floor is on the opposite side of the elevator than the part where you scan the key. Had to google where the pool was.
- 3/5
Our room was very dirty. Dirty towels left in bathroom, food remnants left on table, dirty glasses left in the tray, and the floor was in desparate need of vacuuming. Our bedding did not smell clean. Our air did not work properly. I had the Ogden suite and connecting king room. For the amount of money I spent, my expectations were much higher.

Everything was great

Great job Sheraton! I booked 3 rooms for my family to celebrate NYE and my birthday. At check in, the staff was excellent and hooked us up with 2 river view rooms so we could enjoy the fireworks. It was magical. We had access to the club lounge, which I highly recommend. The hotel was well organized and staffed properly. We were very pleased with out stay
- 3/5
Dust in room, cracks on wall, laundry left in room from previous party.
- 4/5
Checkin was a bit slow, but it was nye. I asked concierge for tylenol and the only option was a $9 sample size. I would expect better from a luxury hotel.
- 3/5
My bed had blood in it. The bartender ignored me my husband and other guest trying to purchase drinks the live dj was horrible he paid techno music all night the only good thing was the location the staff was friendly at check in and the housekeeping supervisor came in personally and changed the bedding

We stayed one night and we cannot wait to come back and stay even longer next time! The views from our room were spectacular. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean. We loved that the lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Everything was good
- 5/5
We didn’t eat breakfast there.
- 5/5
Very clean staff was amazing
- 5/5
Super experience. Beautiful views and excellent staff. The breakfast buffet would be my only complaint. Ate there 3 times because it was included in my room rate. The service was great, but the food was not.

Room set up at 80* and it was very very cold my 3yrs old daughter got sick and refrigerator was not working properly we had to throw away the milk, called receptionist and didn’t do anything,

Beautiful hotel & great location on riverwalk. Our door wouldn’t fully close
- 5/5
Great location in the center of everything.
- 4/5
Staff was outstanding, very friendly, and extremely helpful. Rooms are a bit dated, but fine. Was very disappointed that the hotel bar was closed for a private party Saturday night. Went into Shulas, sat at the bar and got completely ignored ...after 7 minutes we left. Breakfast buffet, not great. Staff at the hotel ,again, were outstanding!!!

El hotel necesita más personal
- 4/5
Overall, this is a nice hotel. However, we booked a king room and were given a queen. We were not told about it at check in, only discovered this when we got to the room. I think this is because we checked in right at 3:00 and our room may not have been ready but I feel they should have told us and maybe given us the option of waiting. We chose this hotel because they were dog friendly and do not charge a fee, which is highly appreciated and why we would stay here again. The room was very clean and nicely appointed with a great view of the river. It was a little small and the bathroom very small. Staff, especially the door men and housekeeping were very nice. It's in a great location and within walking distance of Michigan Avenue and great restaurants and the riverwalk. Would recommend this hotel.

The convenience of the hotel was awesome. The restaurants were excellent along with the staff.

My stay was amazing. I stayed on the 31st floor, beautiful views of the city and the river. House keeping was great! I didn't get to try the breakfast or gym this time around, but front desk staff were phenomenal as well. Everything was great!
- 2/5
Would not go to again
- 4/5
Very helpful, kind staff! Location is the best .Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. The only complaiint i have was the thermostat wall accessible but didnt control the temp, our room was freezing. I did ask them to come up and they were able to shut something off, they showed up in under 5 minutes as well. i love Chicago and the Sheraton. I will book again !
- 5/5
Professional staff, great location.
- 5/5
Good place to stay and relax
- 4/5
Close to everything.
- 4/5
Staff very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
- 3/5
The room was clean and tidy, maintenance needs attending too, water outlet over the bath was off the wall, no kettle, 1 teabag. All plastic cutlery and paper cups.
- 5/5
Your staff was so warm and friendly...from the receprion desk to the coffee shop. You also have a lovely lobby.
- 5/5
All of the above
- 5/5
This is our 3rd stay, the hotel is great and centrally located to downtown attractions
- 1/5
The pictures are a fraud! The hotel room looks like a motel6.
- 4/5
The room was clean, and the staff were very courteous.
- 4/5
The property was nice but the cost was astronomical. $75/day to park. Then another $30 “property convenience fee”. Location was good for what we needed.
- 5/5
Really nice comfy hotel with friwndly helpful staff
- 4/5
Check in was amazing the hiy gave me recommendations on places to eat and they all were on point
- 5/5
We loved our stay here. Our room, the family room, was incredibly spacious and we loved the view of the river. It was somewhat difficult to navigate from the hotel to the riverwalk with a stroller.
- 5/5
Close to all places
- 3/5
Was out right next to an elevator and was unable to sleep. Other than that, the beds are comfortable l. Even the roll away bed was good size and very clean. The location is prime, we were easily able to walk to many different things. We will be back, just not next to the elevator.
- 1/5
Suites are just normal rooms. Staff doesn’t listen to calls
- 1/5
They added a resort fee. I showed them the price that Expedia did I would pay and they said that is my problem took out with Expedia. It was a horrible way to start my stay for high price per night including parking and this bs resort fee. Wish I never used Expedia.
- 5/5
Service
- 5/5
Our room had windows looking out two different directions as it was a corner room. There was only one comfortable chair in the room, plus an upright desk chair. We were at the end of the hall and on the way there the air-conditioning was flowing heavily out into the hall. The rest of the hall was warm and nice. We arrived 2 days ahead of our cruise and ate in the Shula Steakhouse and had appetizers in the bar one night. The service in the bar could have been better as we are coffee drinkers and like our cups kept full with hot coffee.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Very clean large rooms
- 4/5
The staff was very nice, the room was clean but there was dusty air, the pool was nice and clean
- 5/5
The junior suite was comfortable and perfect for our stay. Accessible and walkable to Mag Mile, Millenium Park and Ohio St beach. Cafe and Shula Steakhouse were both delicious.
- 3/5
Room was perfectly located in the river. Plumbing was an issue, toilets had to be flushed a few times…shower was extremely slow to drain. The air conditioner in the room didn’t work that well. Left the air on for the whole day with curtains closed and room never cooled off
- 5/5
Great stay as always!!
- 5/5
Our stay was perfect.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Chicago!
- 5/5
Concierge was very helpful and the hotel was within walking distance to every where we wanted to see
- 2/5
My initially arrival the front desk was busy, labor day weekend, i get it. The girl at the front desk said she couldn't find my reservation, i did book through hotels.com but i never have this issue. She struggled for a good 10m insisting i was wrong. I assured her i booked 3 months out to avoid this Labor Day rush. She found it and we were on our merry way. As for the hotel itself, the river view room is amazing. It was a great experience. The hotel itself is quite large. It's a walking distance away from the magnificent mile and the bean, and has a bus stop right across for faster travel. The gym and pool are kind of out of the way so don't book if that's your main amenities.
- 4/5
A couple notes: 1) TV blinked off, reception spotty. 2) An extra bath towel for washing hair would be nice. Check-in between 4 and 5 pm was slow and not the best start. But we did see additional staff come out eventually.
- 2/5
In general, needs an update. Broken furniture, slow elevators, and some extra care to detailed cleaning is needed. Staff was great, especially at dining areas and bar! Very annoying that WiFi wasn’t included in stay, and had some wifi jamming in place so that it was necessary to purchase to get any kind of service in the hotel. As soon as you were on the sidewalk outside the hotel full WiFi service. Would not recommend a stay here.
- 4/5
Nice place
- 3/5
The staff was absolutely amazing, the room was dirty, there were large clumps of hair stuck in the shower curtain hooks and on the floor under the sink. The housekeeper was in the hall and immediately took care of the issue.
- 5/5
Outstanding location, walkable to both metros, river walk, navy pier, millennium park etc. Shout out to Suzanne on concierge who couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely consider staying here next time we travel to Chicago
- 5/5

Everything
- 5/5
Very nice hotel with a great location on the Riverwalk with great view of river. The employees were all very friendly and service was great. Direct access to the riverwalk and within walking distance of many attractions and shopping. Elevators were horribly slow.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
The staff was very unfriendly, the toilet was literally moving when you sat on it, the elevators took 5-15 min every day even though there were 6. They charged us an extra fee of $30 per day which was for nothing. They said $15 per day can go toward food but we didn't want to eat there.
- 5/5
great local spot!
- 3/5
Which is something that happens to these big hotel chains yet with small hotels that's never a problem.
- 5/5
But poor toilet that would barely flush.
- 5/5
Fue excelente me encantó

- 5/5
Excellent location, I would choose Sheraton again
- 5/5
Loved the view from our room! Staying in Chicago, the river view is a must! The gym was well equipped. Wish the sauna would have been heated up! Loved the patio out on the gym level!
- 5/5
The location was great. Beautiful views, walkable distance to any entertainment, clean and opulent, the staff was incredible. Especially one of the doormen. Loaded with information and advice. Very friendly.
- 5/5
Location, location, location! I evaluated several Chicago hotels before choosing this one and I was really happy with my choice. The Sheraton is located in a great spot for really expecting Chicago for the first time!

The dining options in the hotel were also outstanding. Shula’s Steak House offered a refined dinner experience, while the Chicago Burger Company was perfect for a casual meal right by the water. I also loved the quick convenience of the Link Café in the mornings. Having so many choices right on-site made the stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the property was clean and well-kept throughout. Between the amenities, the service, and the amazing views, this is a perfect place to stay when visiting Chicago. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in the heart of the city.
- 4/5
I had a nice stay.
- 5/5
It is in a very convenient location and accessible to the main attraction within just few minutes of walk. Also, the property itself is very clean.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 5/5
Perfect area to walk around! Clean and easy to check in
- 5/5
Great location walking distance to restaurants, shopping, river, the pier, hop on and off stop, . Staff was great was disappointed that no concierge was available to redeem passes to architectural museum and sports museum
- 5/5
Excellent view
- 5/5
Clean room,, helping staff and the hotel is at a great location
- 5/5
Staff were exceptional- the people working in this hotel restored my faith in Marriott properties.
- 2/5
The truth is that I expected more from this hotel, when I arrived the man who receives us literally did not want to help my wife with the suitcases and even sent me to park in another parking lot without offering me the hotel parking. I thought it was in very bad taste that my wife was waiting for me outside while I took my car to park 2 blocks from the hotel to the parking lot that the aforementioned subject sent me and made my wife move to the side without even telling her to enter the hotel lobby because that was where she had to wait.
- 3/5
This hotel was in a great location and we had a beautiful view from our room. House keeping was very friendly and made sure our room was clean and we had what we needed each day. Overall, this hotel needs a big update, including the guest rooms. Everything was very dated.
- 5/5
Great experience. Walkable to lots of things
- 5/5
Fantastic location with easy access to public transportation, yet central location to walk everywhere!! Great river and lake views. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms with daily service which is rare these days. Would stay again because of the location. The breakfast buffet is a rip, however. Very ordinary for the price.
- 5/5
Beautiful everything!!!
- 5/5
great property
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
There was another fee added to the total once we got there specifically from the Hotel. I got an email notifying me only 24 hours until the trip. Seemed like quite an extra charge for free entry into museums we werent even there to see, I wish they would have included that in thier notices before i booked because I would have booked elsewhere and saved money. Oh well, overall a nice hotel just seemed sneaky to me.
- 5/5

Very nice hotel. Staff was professional and helpful. Location was convenient to activities and visitor sites. We would stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Easy access to the Riverwalk, Magnificent Mile, and other attractions.
- 5/5
Room wa clean, and view was amazing.
- 3/5
There were no outlets for charging phones in the room, so we had to go to a pharmacy to buy one. In addition, there was black mold in the bathroom around the tub, and the faucet was loose and wobbly
- 3/5
We were so disappointed in checking in our room. The front desk people are not friendly and looking kind a mean. We booked for king size bed with river view. We were given a double bed with river view but not king size bed. We went to tell the front desk but we spoke to a different front desk representative, since the person helped us earlier was busy with other guest. The second person who helped us said that Sheraton is out of king size bed. He added that our reservation can only be guaranteed if we book direct through their website and not third party like Expedia. We were so upset! However, the person who helped us said that he is one-of-the managers on the floor and that he is not trying to give us a hard time. He offered us $50 at first then he changed his offer to $100 when he found out that we are staying for four(4) days. He advised that we check the room and to call him back if we want the room or not. He said we have to make a decision right away; either take the $100 or $50 and change the room the next day! It is very hard for elderly people to go back and forth to change room and then delay your schedule the next day to change room. This hotel is not friendly and we felt they are not catered to elderly guests. However, we found this hotel central to all the places you want to see in downtown Chicago. The view from our room is very nice. You can see the river and people walking on the street. The hotel is huge and the restaurant has buffet.
- 5/5
Our stay at this Sheraton Grand in Chicago was great. Clean and comfortable. We especially loved the fabulous buffet breakfast offerings. Fruit was really fresh, and there were choices for everyone: health conscious or not. Fabulous pastry and egg station for fresh omlets of your choosing. And warm, friendly, attentive staff.
- 2/5
We booked Lakeview for 4 nights while they gave us a roofview suite.
- 5/5
I think this is a good hotel in an extremely convenient location whether you plan to walk or catch a ride. Close to everything and staff was pleasant.

This hotel was perfect for our weekend stay. Close to many places!! Easily walkable to lots of great restaurants and shopping. Great views from our room.
- 2/5
As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold member, I had high expectations for the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk but was very disappointed. I requested a crib in advance, yet none was in the room at check-in. After activating the mobile key, my sister (same last name on the reservation) had her key deactivated and was left waiting in the lobby until security escorted her up which was completely unnecessary. There was no complimentary water in the room, and even after requesting water with towels, only towels arrived. Housekeeping never came despite a 10 AM request, leaving us without clean towels or a tidy room. The $15 daily credit was useless, as fees made it barely enough for one drink. Service was far below the level I’ve experienced at other Sheraton properties.

Very nice location on the river close to Navy Pier!
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to alot of Chicago attractions, loved the view from our room to the river and lake, comfy beds and pillows

- 5/5
Great stay at a nice clean place. Convenient to everything
- 5/5
I liked everything. No bad news
- 3/5
I would have given a higher rating but when I arrived at 5pm I was informed that there was no room clean and ready when check in was at 4pm. We were attending a concert that started at 8 so we needed to start getting ready and I explained that. The check in rep told me that she doesn’t know when a room would be ready and honestly wasn’t very friendly. I had booked and paid for a king room with river and was offered a double bed with city view which is not what we wanted since my boyfriend is over 6 ft tall. After about 20 minutes of the rep messaging housekeeping we were told our room was ready. Once in our room, it was nice and the view was amazing. We went to our concert and when we returned for the night we were thirsty and were informed there were no vending machines at the hotel. With how expensive parking was that was very inconvenient to have to leave and pay parking again. It was very late so we did without any drinks until morning. There was no blanket in the room, only 3 sheets and the middle one was visibly dirty.
- 2/5
Our room was unavailable due to overbooking . We are traveling with 2 kids and 1 baby . It was a lot of stress
- 5/5
Centrally located to everything you want to do and see. Definitely use the concierge service. They were amazing helping me find tickets and events for our stay
- 4/5
We had a wonderful view of the Chicago River and enjoyed the easy access to the Riverwalk. My only complaint was $70/day for parking and a $30/day resort fee that i didnt know about until after we completed our booking through Expedia.
- 5/5
The clean and new bad sheets had stains on them.

This property was great! clean and friendly staff, walkable dinning and shopping options and a great part of town. the only downfall was the $30 per day hotel fee

Loved this location. It's the 2nd time we stayed here. I wish they had valet service, but overall it was a solid option for our staycation in the city.
