Conveniently located, very clean suit with all the things I needed (good bed, nice shower, a full kitchen). I wish there was central A/C that was quieter, but it worked perfectly and kept the temperature steady.

The room was very clean, and everything was very modern and up to date. Our room had just been redone, and whoever did had good taste. The lamps were the most modern hotel lamps I'd ever seen with an outlet, USB-C charger, and a dimming base light which was a nice touch for winding down at night. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook and prepare food. Plus the cabinets and drawers were soft close with many different appliances available for use. The linen seemed new and was still soft compared to other hotels where you can tell it's either cheap or has been washed a bunch and never replaced. Also the staff were very helpful and understanding when we had an emergency. It felt locally owned and welcoming compared to a major corporate hotel. Lastly, the location is amazing for Clear Water. The hotel provides free parking which is perfect since the shopping strip/pier is only about a 5-10 minute walk, and the beach is right across the street. We barely drove anywhere with the nearby restaurants as well. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, and would choose this hotel every time if it's available I wish the pool hours would open a little earlier and stay open later, but I understand that probably loud guest in the past have ruined that privilege, or is a liability

The suites were spacious and clean. The parking was awful. Not enough spaces for guests. Employees and workers parked in the limited spaces. You could call and get a pass to park in public parking. They only staff office until 4. The key cards stopped working consistently so had to call. I felt bad for the person on the other line because we had to call a lot.

This is a very unique property with an old Florida vibe that distinguishes it from the surrounding properties. The exterior has a charming art deco design. We stayed in a larger one bedroom corner unit that was spacious & comfortable. 2 Tv's with cable . Living /dining room. A well equipped kitchen. Lots of fluffy towels. The bed sheets were super soft &:smooth. A nice easy access heated pool, towels provided & right across from Clearwater Beach! The staff are incredible and very accommodating. Thanks to Kim, Jackie & Tony for helping make our stay most memorable. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 4 nights this fall, as we were attending a music festival nearby. Great location, close to the beach and several restaurants, and a lot quieter than other properties to the south. this was our first visit to Clearwater, and we're already planning our return visit next year, in large part because of our great stay at the Camelot. We needed to extend our stay by one night, and they easily accomodated our request.

The walk to the beach is about 3 minutes straight down the street to the beach entrance walks right past a very good restaurant right on the beach. Beach chair and umbrella rental is right on the beach here. Hotel has beach chairs you can borrow; if you wanna buy a cheap travel sun umbrella you can save on that rental everyday you are there. I bought a couple of good umbrellas for cheap on ebay.. peir 60 is a 2 minute drive; good fishing and has bait shop with pole rentals and restroom along with other gifts and conveniences for sale. You can also buy frozen bait at Publix nearby(open at 7am). Nice fuel station right across from resort; has food, lotto, little section of pain relievers and condoms, wide selection of snacks and beverages, bag ice etc.. really nice convenient fuel station. Need to get to pier between 8 and 9 am for best parking also has swimming and beach stuff rentals(twice the cost of the rentals that are located on the beach across from the resort)

Great place to stay, clean and quiet. Christie is awesome. She makes you feel like family. Short walk to the sand and convenient to good food and shopping. Pool is always clean but that pool guy has the personality of a brick wall. Bathrooms are small but it is an older building and it is very well kept so it is what it is. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I were traveling for a beach volleyball tournament and booked a little late. I normally wouldn't choose a "motel" (we're scaredy cats about outside rooms) but there weren't many options left. So we very hesitantly booked Camelot Suites. And we're so glad we did! It was super cute and quaint, very clean, had everything we could possibly need and Vickie was amazing. She was beyond helpful and friendly and for that alone we wouldn't hesitate to stay again, the other great things are just bonuses!

My daughters and I came down to see some family in the Tampa area. They want to go back yearly now due to the great time we had at the Camelot Suites and in Clearwater. Just north of the main area, the location provides easy access to the beach without all of the crowds. The Palm Pavilion Inn is only one block away with amazing food and service. We will be back again next year!

This place was grossly misrepresented by Expedia and Camelot's website. Don't be fooled by the photo. What was billed as a "resort" was nothing more than a motel. The manager we met was initially hard to find as there was no internal office but rather what was more like a kiosk. We were given a key and the manager Vicky told us there was no maid service, and no pets allowed. Their website told the opposite. Other guests had dogs, we couldn't bring ours. Internet was horrible, ultra slow. TV was internet driven are required 2 remotes to get any channels. Kitchen area was greasy/nasty, we had to clean. Cell phone reception was impossible the first day, as if the signal was jammed, and after it finally appeared, the signal was weak. The bathroom was tiny and smelled like urine the whole time. Dust all thru the room (wife is allergic to dust). Coffee pot was not clean. There was an older gentleman, who worked the weekend in a helping, custodial role, I think Hispanic looking who was very pleasant, approached us by the pool, smiled asked if we needed anything. Pool was clean, not heated. Motel was not full by any means. Close to the beach though, which was nice. I will not stay there again, nor will I recommend to anyone who is looking to have a pleasant place to stay and sleep. Way too pricey!! If we thought it was possible we would ask for a refund.

Staff contacted me by phone to tell me where keys are or were, but stayed overtime to check me in. Place was clean, properly stocked with coffee, etc.. No complaints - It's an older building a block from the beach and public access to it, each unit is a condo and individually owned so there's no cookie cutter room! Staff changed my room to more desirable (for me) based on availability when i arrived - Expedia listed only a certain type on the site. Would go back, for sure.

The room was filthy! The bed was full of sand. There is no staff on duty past 4:00, so there was no one to complain about the sandy beds to. The linens and towels were so old they actually smelled. The old brown bath towels looked like something you would wash a car with. Tbe drain in my shower was broken, we had to shower with sandals on. We only received 4 towels, and when asked for more they said they would not give any more out. And you have to take your own trash to the Dumpster when you leave. My room also stunk like cigarettes from people smoking directly outside my door. Run far from this dump. It looks nothing like the pictures and you will feel dirty the whole to time you are there!

I was in the area to attend a wedding. No closet in the room with hangers. No ironing board and iron. Convenient to beach and good for week-long stays for vacationers since there is a kitchenette. Very small bathroom. Very comfy beds. Never met the staff, since we arrived after 5pm and departed before 10am. Good thing I phoned ahead too. The staff person took my credit card over the phone and gave me instructions on how to get the room key after hours (the office closes at 4 or 5pm). If I hadn't phoned, arriving would have been foggy to say the least.

The beach is a couple steps across the street. The staff-was simply amazing and informative. I would most definitely visit again

The only negative I have is the wood bed frame. It seems to be of european design, with wooden slates on a frame. Any minor movement creates a loud creaking noise, which I'm sure the neighbours heard.
