Hotel Cabana Clearwater Beach

We had a group of us there ! The place is in a great location 1 block from the beach walking distance to bars & restaurants. The staff was great ! The rooms were very clean . I would definitely stay again.

The room and bathroom were clean. The bed linen and towels were clean. The bathroom sink was a bit too small, and there wasn't enough space to hang up clothes. There were plenty of sun loungers by the pool, making it a great spot to relax. Fresh, hot coffee was available in the morning.

Husband and i loved our stay. We had a little problem in the room and the host solved it right away! very quick, very clean. We would definitely come back and stay here whenever we come to Clearwater

The bedroom suite was clean s d well maintained. One minute walk to the beach. The kitchenette is useful.

I stayed here this past weekend for a mini solo beach getaway. The room was perfect for what I needed. Beach access was so convenient right across the street. But away from the hustle and bustle of Clearwater Beach, where most of the big hotels are. I walked to breakfast each morning. Definitely will come back.

This place is perfect! Just a block from the beach. We enjoyed it so much! It’s cozy and the staff was nice and also the fact that they had a wagon, beach chairs, sand buckets and an umbrella for us to borrow for the beach was amazing!

Older hotel, recently updated, nice pool, self serve laundry. Can't beet 1 block from North Clearwater Beach. Parking can be a challenge.....but we lucked out.

I loved staying at Hotel Cabana , my son enjoyed the pool there and everything is close walking distance. It was the best week we had being there! Can’t wait to go back and enjoy being there again 😃

The property was charming but walking to our room, there were several dead roaches all over on the sidewalk. The room was clean and the kitchenette was nice to have. The bathroom had a teeny tiny sink with no where to put any bathroom items. The mattress was the worst part for us because we did not sleep well at all. It was SO soft and mushy, there was no support whatsoever. If you sat on the side of the bed, you literally sunk completely down. So there was no where to sit. The back window had no curtain and the staff were helpful by coming in to hang a sheet over the curtain rod.

The rooms were clean and decorated cute. They have several different layouts. They bathroom are small. It is one block from the ocean . The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful.

The hotel is cute and walkable to all of Clearwater beach. The rooms are clean, beds are soft, and had great pillows. Having coffee readily available is a situation and having your room tidied up during a long stay is as well.

Hotel is great for quiet, low key 1-2 day stay but don't recommend for longer then that. Bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable but there was no kitchen trash can or utensils. Only some plates and coffee cups. Trash left outside the door was not picked up for days. Pool was cloudy with no sign of anyone cleaning it. No staff on site.

Absolutely loved Jenna annd Madi Even the Cleaning staff Wes amazing and helpful and the properties been remodeled. It’s very up-to-date and modern. I loved how some of the guests leave their beach chairs and umbrellas and they leave them nice and clean on the side area outside the bowl for anyone to use it made it super convenient for the beach.

The bed was too soft for me.

The hotel very nice amd original. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Love the fact the beach is less than a 5 minute walk.

Located very close to the beach, check in and out was smooth, we had no issues with parking. The room was small but clean and recently renovated. The bathroom left much to be desired: water would not get hot (or even warm) in the shower and the bathroom sink was so small you couldn’t wash your hands without soaking the floor.

Walking distance from everything we wanted or needed. Updated and cozy. We opted for the petite suite because we knew we were going to be out most of the time. Next visit we’re thinking of upgrading to the bigger room. Staff was extremely communicative and friendly and so were other guests. Even made some friends on the trip. Definitely will be back

We really enjoyed our stay in one of the North Petite rooms. Jenna was extremely attentive and prompt at answering any questions. The hotel is in a perfect spot to walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants. I'd definitely stay again!

I wanted a cute little hotel that I would be close to the beach and not too far from the busy part of Clearwater, but also some space away from all the business. This was perfect, a three minute walk to the beach. I will definitely book again.

Pros: The location is great — very close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff and manager were also friendly and helpful during the stay. Overall, this hotel has a convenient location, but the smell that comes through the pipes makes it difficult. The photos on the website make the property look much nicer and more updated than it actually is in person. The reality does not fully match the online images, especially with the ongoing construction, plumbing issues, and older condition of the hotel.

Our stay was amazing! Staff was so great. The place was clean, so convenient to everything we wanted to do and right next to the beach. Will def be coming back. 10/10

When we arrived late into the evening, the electronic lock to our room was malfunctioning. After a quick phone call to the staff we were put into a larger replacement room for the night while our issue was resolved. I appreciate that someone was able to take our call so late after their normal staffed hours. The rest of our stay was pleasant.

They renovated our room so it was brand new. Well appointed with a kitchenette, fridge and Keurig. Big comfortable bed. Only downside was that the bathroom was very small. Desk staff was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. 2 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the beginning of the strip of restaurants and bars. But there were a couple of little spots even closer than that. We would stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days vacation. The room was very clean and newly renovated. The beach is walking distance from the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and made the stay a great experience overall. We highly recommend Hotel Cabana!

One block away from the beach! Super clean and updated room/bathroom/kitchen. Pool and area around it very cute and clean. If we return to the area this is the only place we would want to stay.

Not sure where to start. When we got into our room it was clean and newly renovated BUT the flaws that came with this hotel was ridiculous and a waste of our time!! The shower did not drain and eventually overflowed, the sink literally dripped water, along with the toilet not flushing properly, flies, mosquitoes, and gnats always seemed to make their way in, and the bathroom door DOES NOT SHUT! We would have to literally slam the top corner of the door to close the door for the person who needed to use the bathroom and then to come out of the bathroom, we had to use all our weight to open the door! The next morning around 9am the office said they would have a plumber go in and fix the issue while we were out for the day. We come back around 330pm and it was still not draining. I contacted the office about it and Jenna herself got drain-o and had us shower in another room. Although she did what she could in the moment, this was a HUGE waste of our time having to get all our shower stuff, towels, and clothes to bring downstairs to the other room. What was extremely upsetting is the office knew about these issues and said they are still doing repairs and have not stayed in all the rooms yet. So let’s rent out rooms that you know have issues that take away people’s planned vacation time to go into other rooms to shower and go to the gas station to get ice because their ice maker was also not working. Maybe we got the sh*tty room because we booked through Expedia.

Location is great! We loved our unit that had a separate bedroom and kitchen! Jenna, the onsite assistant was amazing and very helpful. We will stay again. Only minor issue was the pool was not clean and closed for Maint…

Kitchen area was terrible. Just 2 cups & nothing else. No spoons, cereal bowls etc. door seal was rubbish & letting in flies. Paint drips all over the floor, no dustbin & bathroom sink only ran hot water. Ongoing refurbishing & I don’t feel it was ready to be open.

Communication was subpar. The day before check-in they sent information that was supposed to include the access code & room number in the document they sent. It had the spot where the access code was supposed to be, but there was no code listed. I responded to their message asking if that was supposed to include the access code & I got no response. Then the day of our stay I reached out to the contact provided & three times was sent immediately to voicemail. Finally, I called another number & they did answer, but stated the information had already been sent to me. I told them the document did not list the actual access code or room number & luckily he was able to help me. This phone call was after the 4 PM check-in time which at that point we should’ve already had all the information we needed for our stay. Upon arrival, there was a knife left in the sink & a nicotine pouch stuck to the ceiling. Other than that, our room was clean & comfortable. Two days after our check-in date, I received a call back from the original contact I reached out to returning my message about not having the access code. Not really sure how that would have been helpful since our check-in was 48 hours prior to the returned call. Prior to arriving, I saw another review mentioning that the main pool was under construction, so I reached out about that. I did not get a response but when we arrived, the main pool was in fact under construction. Ultimately, we did enjoy our stay.

The staff of this property were absolutely fantastic. We realized we booked for the wrong day and they accommodated us regardless. We ended up staying in a two bedroom suite and it was adorable, roomy, and immaculately clean. We were surprised when we first arrived that the main property (that a lot of the photos are of on this listing) was completely under construction and not where we would be staying. The staff shared with us that they are rebuilding after the recent hurricanes and we would be staying at a different building around the corner. Where they accommodated us was wonderful, but the pool and outdoor seating areas were much smaller and not the same as the pictures. If you choose to stay here, you will have a wonderful experience, just be weary that the outdoor areas may look different from the photos. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants and bars.

The hotel has 2 sites close together so when booking you don’t know which side you’re gonna get. We for the smaller side that didn’t look much like the photos, no coffee, no instructions on where pool items are and no roof top Terrance. Overall very clean, updated, worked well for our family of 4.

Location was great. Close to beach and restaurants. Clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning was very loud.

Some unpleasant-looking stains on the pool bottom and sides. Was not in the main hotel building I was led to believe, but in a small annex across the street. Disappointing because the hotel exterior decor is one of the reasons I chose this place.

Newly renovated room. Was super cute and clean. Hotel renovations were not completed. Only one small pool. We were unaware . Hotel cleaning staff were super friendly and helpful. When renovations are complete it will be wonderful. Walking distance to beach’s and downtown.

I took my 12 y/o here for vacation/bday/spring break…It was amazing! The hotel room was more like an apartment. Anything we needed was right there. It was just steps from the beach! There were a lot of people in Clearwater for spring break but the best part was, we were away from all the hustle and bustle but just a short car ride from all the happenings! Shops, restaurants and people. It was like a hidden get-a-way! I would recommend this place 100%!!…and my son agrees 😊

My wife and our 9 month old son stayed in a King suite on the Somerset St. part of the property and had a really nice stay. The room was beautiful and the bed was actually comfortable (a statement I rarely make regarding hotels). All the cooking utensils and appliances appeared virtually brand new, so new that it smelled like the oven hadn't actually been used yet and still needed to be "baked off" which was perhaps the only let down. Access to the beach was super easy and we were fortunate that previous guests or ownership had left beach chairs and a wagon which we took advantage of on the first-come basis. The pool was small, but since there are only a handful of rooms it's not a serious concern. The staff, which is limited to housekeeping and maintenance in the morning to early afternoon, were all really friendly in our passing interactions. The property is located north of most of the dining and nightlife so expect a bit of a walk to most restaurants and bars. Would gladly recommend a stay to anyone looking for a quieter experience in Clearwater Beach!

We enjoyed our stay, beach access and pool as you walk out the door! Some amenities were closed still from Hurricanes but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time….. but sadly and unfortunately we left with bed bug bites and now I’m stressed at home washing my whole house up and down. It’s not something I would have expected from this place that I thought was so clean while we were there! The bites showed up our last day and I did some research and it’s looking like that! Extremely bummed as I am still stress cleaning 12 hours later.

Enjoyed facilities, pool area was neat and loungers pretty comfy. Great open floor plan in a king suite with separate room and small living room with sofa sleeper and full kitchen combo. Everything looks new and modern. Open, fresh and clean. Free parking in front of our room. We enjoyed our short weekend stay! The place is close to everything but also far enough from the craziness of the loud bars. Just a block from a nice beach entrance. We walked from our room about five minutes to enjoy a beautiful sunset nearby. The place is not water front, but very close and safe road path to the beach. We brought our own beach chairs. It is in a nice calm street. We'll come back again! Highly recommend!

Location ? The toilet was very loose and will need to be tightened up! In the booking website app it stated that there was a laundry facility, but I came to find out that was at the other location that is currently being renovated. The other thing was the photos in the booking site look like the property that’s being renovated. Not I big deal but I was hoping to wash some clothes before leaving Florida.

The rooms were large and completely renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The listing contains significant inaccuracies about the facility. For example, the pictures and descriptions show two pools, but unfortunately, one of the pools was unavailable due to storm damage. The unavailable pool was also the much nicer pool area, with lots of palm trees and a lush feel. To top it all off, the listing stated the pools were heated, and that was one of my main decision points when looking for accommodation. Unfortunately, they could not get the heater working, and it was very cold outside during my stay. Also, the TV in my room did not work.

A quick walk to the beach and walking distance to some amazing restaurants. I had issues with no wi-fi and hot water in one unit.. the staff was very responsive to the issues and provided me with another unit that had hot water. With it being their grand re-opening, issues like this were completely understandable.

The staff is very accommodatin, they granted our request for early check-in without additional pay and the place is really near in the beach. I also like how fast they answered all our queries.

The bed was comfortable Your staff was absent. The door was always locked to the office. They’re doing major construction around the pool so I could not use it. Nobody told me that when I booked it. But seriously I could’ve robbed one of those rooms and nobody would’ve known because No staff was there ever.

The exterior looked a little dated from the pictures, but the room was fantastic. No staff on site everything is through your email, Or you can call the number that’s on the front door. The room was very clean. The property is a block away from the beach and other restaurants. I would stay here again.

An older property, lots of character. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Self check in was a breeze and texts and emails were quickly responded to. We loved how close the beach access was and how many restaurants were but a short walk away 20 min or so. We had a great time.

I booked this at the last minute and I'm glad I did. It's towards the end of the strip and next to the residential area. Its only a few minutes walk to the main part of the strip and there are restaurants and bars all along the way. It's a block from the beach. The property was well kept and quite chic. The property management was easy to reach and were very responsive and let me check in early as I was put on an earlier flight. I have no complaints and I enjoyed it there.

Location was great. Property is being remodeled and needs it. Needs remodeling finished. First room was to small and needed remodeling. They upgraded us to a larger ground level across from main property. Pool was much nicer. Holes in bathroom wall let a gigantic cockroach in! Scared my wife to tears in shower!!! Need to fill all holes in wall behind toilet. Hose keeping needs to clean better, found underwear and toothbrush’s in night stand. Light on nightstand nearest to window was missing knob to turn on. Location and facility has lots of positive attributes but needs fine tuning.

We had a great experience at this hotel! It's 1 minute from the beach and about an 8 minute walk to the center of town with all the shops and restaurants. To my surprise, our room had 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and bedroom. It has all been recently updated and was nice and clean. I was hesitant about there being no front desk, but when we arrived for check in, we stopped by the pool towel return and were greeted by a lovely staff member who let us check in 1 hour early. He also threw in a gift card to a restaurant near by! 10/10 Great place, we will be back!

First stay in Clearwater. Prefer to stay in a boutique hotel. Were on second floor. Top step was higher than other steps and a potential hazard. Sofa and bed were comfortable. Appreciated two coffee pods though we both drink coffee & had a 2-night stay. bathroom had the smallest sink I have ever seen in a hotel. Bathroom & Bedroom doors warped. Appeared to have water damage at the bottom. Took 5 mins to get warm water in shower. Parking spaces were very limited and close. Why should there be metered parking on Mandalay St outside the hotel? Silly. Walkable to restaurants.

A hidden gem.

Great value stay, good pool, excellent communication from the property and handy for the beach. Rooms a little small and aircon noisy but it was perfect for a good value stop.

We had a cute little efficiency, full size fridge and stove, microwave. It was clean, plenty of towels. The AC unit was VERY loud, it kept us cool, but hard to sleep well. The hot water ran out about 2-3 minutes into your shower. We loved the quiet location, close to anything you wanted. We would stay here again and hope a different room would not be as noisy per AC and have more hot water for shower.

The pictures of the newly renovated motel were deceiving. The bathroom was airplane small, the photos taken must have been from the bigger rooms. We had a suite and the bedroom: living space were roomy, nicely decorated but the building was weathered and old , smelled old and the pool was not clean, water or pool area. The price made it seem as though it was a nicer property- I felt we overpaid by at least $100 a night. Check in and check out by code was convenient but there were limited amenities. Location was close to beach

Overall the room was very nice but there was lots of tiny ants all over everything. The pool area was nice but the pool in particular could use a good cleaning/updating. Dirty concrete, pool tiles, etc. the location of the hotel was a little too far away from any convienent/liquor stores, breakfast restaurants, etc.

My family and I enjoyed our couple of nights there. It was close to the beach and exactly what we needed needed for our state to feel comfortable. It was just like we were at home.

Perfect for a one night stay with family needing seperate rooms for the kids. Aircon loud but everything else was fine. Good for short stay but wouldn’t want to be there any longer as small space.

The property was across the street from the beach which is nice and there is things from previous guests i.e. Chairs umbrellas floaties that are there you u can use during your stay. That was most helpful. Had a small issue with the ceiling fan and they fixed it immediately. That was awesome!

Total catfish hotel. I booked it because of the pool and when I got there the pool was nasty green, looked like it hasn’t been clean and didn’t look anything like the pictures advertised. The hotel smelled old and the room was extremely small. Total disappointment.

I hate to write bad reviews but the pictures definitely make the place look a lot better. The pool was disgusting, we got in at nighttime, not seeing how cloudy and dirty the pool was. The next day my bathing suit smelled terrible. The room was clean, but had almost like a sewage smell to it that wouldn’t go away. Not to mention, the room was the tiniest place I’ve ever seen. About 300 square feet at most. This was our Baby moon getaway and I wish I would have chose another place to be honest, couldn’t even enjoy the pool in 100 degree weather. I feel bad because it looks like the owner has tried to redo the place but the pool and the smell of the room just was horrendous. The location is good, right across the street from the beach and not far from the restaurants and bars.

Easy walk to about anything

Had a great stay at this Hotel, only a three minute walk to the beach!

The cleaning ladies were amazing and they did have a good selection of beach toys/chairs but this hotel does not look like the pics posted online. It’s in what appears to be a sketchy area. The beach access is public. The bathroom was TINY. Bathroom Sink was “Barbie” sized and shower too small for anyone including myself who’s 5’3 and 120lbs! Our door code NEVER worked. A lot of money for where it’s located and what it ACTUALLY looks like. Obviously they are using the money for pictures and marketing!

Pros: If you're looking for a tranquil stay away from the busy public beaches and center square, this is a great spot! The property is located in a peaceful area in North Beach, near the residential area, with beach access just steps away.

We've stayed here several times and it is always a wonderful experience. Clean and recently renovated rooms just a block from the beach, and two nice pool facilities. Only downside is that parking spots can fill up.

The staff was very friendly and gave us excellent service the hotel is in great location.

It was absolutely seamless, fast and contactless. I wish the room was bigger but it ended up being perfect for my daughter and I . The bathroom was a bit outdated and very small . The shower was hard to adjust to but overall it was a pleasant experience.

I booked one room, they sent me the code when I open the door, there was some guest inside. Then they put us in other room, the Ac was turned off all the time, the toilet doesn’t flush. All communication was by text message, there is not a lobby or some one to assist us. I didn’t liked the experience and I don’t recommend.

We stayed here 2 years agao in a clean, updated, much nicer room, i was really surprised how much different our room was and how dirty it was

I don’t typically do reviews but felt this needs to be said. We just got back from our 2 night stay at Hotel Cabana and I have to say this place far exceeded my expectations. The property is located right off Mandalay at the North beach section of Clearwater beach. It’s far enough away from the chaos of the main strip but close enough to walk over to where all the stores and restaurants are and just a short walk to the beach. The property itself was so cute. We are a family of 4 and stayed in a King Suite room which was perfect. The room had a small living area with a pull out coach where our kids slept, it had a great little kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator and stove, dinnerware and everything you would need to cook. It also had a private bedroom. Everything in the room was updated and modern. The management staff were very communicative whenever we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this little hidden gem and for sure will be staying there again.

We loved our stay! Hotel Cabana is super cute and well taken care of. The short walk to the beach was super convenient and I loved that we were not on a crowded part of the beach. The pool is also very nice. Do yourself a favor and just pay the extra to stay in a bigger room. The petite room is way smaller than I imagined it’d be with a cruise ship sized bathroom. It’s completely doable for just two people, but it’s definitely tight. Other than that, we loved our stay!!

Great place would stay there again in a heartbeat. so close to the beach and The main drag of Clearwater Beach. Hosts are first class And top notch offering a great level of service. It’s a funny little Motel That has been updated And has a good vibe about it.

Cozy place, very clean and well maintained

The location was at a nice quiet spot at the end of the strip. Also, being across from the beach it only took a few minutes to walk to the beach. Very convenient

Bathroom in our room was very small the toilet was very tight to the shower our shower was extremely small but everything was very clean

Our stay was fine. The motel is an older style building with the pool in the middle and the rooms around three sides. The rooms are small and the bathroom is really tight. Sink is maybe 15" wide with no counter whatsoever. There is no place to put toiletries. Parking is also a challenge. This was clearly communicated to us prior to arrival but the limited spaces made us feel like we needed to plan. The location is on the north side but an easy walk to the beach and downtown.

Weather was perfect. The hotel was close to a beatufiful beach and shopping. The room was very good. I wish the bathroom was alittle bigger and had some counter space but it worked out. We were there only two nights and we enjoyed the place. The best part was the closeness to the beach for me.

Hotel Cabana Clearwater Beach overall was a pleasant experience considering the price that I paid for this motel. The unit was overall clean, the area surrounding the property was nice as well (which included direct walkways right to the beach and a nice pool and lounge area), and as I mentioned, there were several walkways directly towards the beach that was very convenient to be honest. The only negatives that I can mention about this property are the pictures on Expedia for this motel are misleading, the pool is not the cleanest (even though I enjoyed the pool thorough), and the shower and sink in the bathroom are extremely tiny and not in my opinion functional and intended for taller people or even normal sized people as well. Overall though, I would say that I would recommend Hotel Cabana Clearwater Beach considering the price that I paid, the cleanliness of the unit, and the direct access to the beach from utilizing this motel.

I will definitely return here. Location was quiet and very easy to get to. Walkable I didn’t need my car to commute around the area, and the beach being 5 min away from my room was the best part! Definitely paradise

Mostly the noise from the street and the ac and dehumidifier which I’m not use to have.

The suite was clean and tidy and had a great feel to the place. The pool outside the suite was a great convenience for us and the kids. Lots of restaurants and amenities near by all within walking distance. Cleaning staff for very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again

We loved the location, staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room easnt cleaned to our liking when we arrived, but the staff quickly fixed it for us.

The location is right across from the beach, you can walk to most shops and restaurants/bars and if you decide not to Uber is only 8$, hotel room was clean BUT warning - the Petite rooms are very small! if you're bigger people, like to stay a majority in your room or you like the leg room this is not for you, bathroom including the shower was very small, and the bed takes up the whole room - to be fair they do put it in the description, they have a no contact check in which is nice but the key pad was very crappy on our room, took us several tried to get in each time and the parking spot are so narrow my spouse had to exit through the back of our suv - other than that.. it wasnt too bad

This place is a hidden gem. Very well maintained. Old school with modern feel. Super cool place right across from the beach. Very much recommend compared to the high dollar places on the beach.

I liked the coziness of the property,our room was a bit small and you can hear all the noise from the above rooms through the ceiling and hear it loudly .other than that it’s an average stay but not for long term.

I loved the atmosphere; the property was spotless and well-lit, and conveniently close to restaurants, etc.

The hotel was literally one block from the beach and a few minutes walking from cool beach restaurants and breakfast place.

Really liked how close our hotel was to the beach! It’s more north of the island so it’s a lot quieter than if you stay further south. We tried to check in at check in time but room service had just started cleaning our room at exactly 4:00pm which was a little inconvenient. We stayed on the first floor and the room above us seemed like a maintenance/service room because it was pretty noisy at night and in the morning. But other than that it was clean, we had plenty of towels and toiletries and it was a safe place to sleep after long hours at the beach.

Room was great minus the little nats in the bathroom and the loud dehumidifier that needed to be empty every two hours. Also suggest maybe putting a second lock on the door for extra safety.

The property is quiet and quaint - there is only one pool not two and it was dirty and gross

I didn’t feel safe in my room and they definitely hype you up with the filtered pictures. There was another door in the closet where it look like anyone from the other side could walk in our room. I didn’t stay at in our room at all and had to book another room elsewhere for our safety.

The website pics are very deceptive. space is very small. Staff did their best to clean but it is an old hotel and in desperate need of upgrade. Pool was disgusting. No one bothered to mention the other pool across the street. Second night of our stay, there was a family above us and they were up all night making noise. Hotel was unsuccessful in addressing the situation and subsequently we left early. We were provided a refund which I appreciate but the whole point of a vacation is to rest and rejuvenate. The neighbors upstairs made that impossible. One block from the beach is the only perc of this location. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Amazing stay!

The room did not look the same as the pictures. The shower and the sink outdated. It’s not a hotel in reality it’s a motel. Very limited parking. No cleaning in our 3 days stay in the place. Staff not friendly at all

parking is what we looked for and its easy and some places were fun for a walk

This property is several blocks from the restaurant and dining area so be prepared to walk. A trolley serves the whole surrounding area, but came once an hour and wasn’t free. The beach is beautiful and only 1 block away so for the price you can’t beat this hotel.

It did have convenient beach access. Would not recommend or stay there again.

The property is quaint and newly upgraded. The room was very clean and the staff was very accessible through texts. You only have to walk 500 feet down a deadend road to get to the beach. Highly recommend this property!

We’ve stayed at Cabana at least a dozen times over the past 5 years & based on our experience today we know this will be our last. No one in the office - you have to call a number that just rings. The room we booked is called a Cabana Suite. The bed is super hard & the toilet is 3 inches from the shower so your feet are in the shower while using it. The sink is smaller than anything you’d find in a cheap camper. The room is dirty & paint is peeling everywhere. Came back from dinner & there were zero parking spots on Somerset. We parked along Mandalay & attempted to pay for parking & of course it’s not working & says we have to pay at 6am. So we have to wake up at 5:45am just to pay for parking which is above & beyond what we have already paid for our stay.

Friendly lady called Judy helped us on arrival. Clean, modern room. Lovely pool and pool area. Beach straight across the road. Will definitely return.

The first thing that happens when you walk in is you relax. Then to the pool and relax. That’s it. We relaxed in a place that invites it.

Everything was perfect.
