Great location, right across the street from the beach. Our room had full kitchen and living room area which was great for our little one and plenty of room for our pack & play. The only downside was our room was definitely not cleaned; very dirty floors, found other items from previous guests left, very obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival.

Dirty room, mold on bathroom ceiling, shower curtain mold on inside and outside of bottom of curtain, leftover dried food in Microwave, sofa for sleeping in terrible condition, sheets I was given for it were dirty, parking was free on the street in front of the hotel, bathroom door rotted wood on the bottom inside. We reserved for three nights and stayed there for one. I hope to get my money back.

The room had a lot of dust under the bed I had to sweep, the shower and the bathroom curtain were dirty and its stops the trash cans were dirty under the bags this room needs maintenance.

Frank, the caretaker was super visible on property. He was actually the best part besides the location. The motel sadly shows the wear of it’s age and the rooms are horribly outdated/ whoever wrote the “professionally decorated” section on their website needs to have their head examined. The mattress was done for and has huge stains. There was no mattress pad or anything besides a sheet between us and cooties of the past. The kitchen was very useable and so was the outside grill. Pool was average for the area. The crowd was rough (Memorial Day) but seemed to quiet down when Frank showed up. Towels were quite worn and random sizes, colors etc. but, they were clean and Frank delivered a few new ones each morning. Again Frank was great, the bed and towels…,meh.

No this place is great. At its price point, you can't beat it. Right across the street from the Gulf. The desk was very helpful. I showed up. Well past checking time and Frank was very accommodating

The property is a bit run down… it’s mostly clean but it’s not fancy at all. The gentleman running the place is very nice and accommodating. He was always around making sure everything was going smoothly. The pictures are not accurate and it needs a remodel honestly. We had a great time as you are right across from the beach. The pool was very nice but only 3 chairs around the courtyard.

We had a wonderful time here. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was a very short walk to the powder beach, close to some downtown stores. Our neighbors on both sides were so friendly. For 3 nights, it was nice and quiet in the area, even at night, so peaceful. The pool was very nice and soothing, and it was very clean and maintained. As far as the staff, Frank was amazing. He offered us some beach chairs and towels as well. That guy works very hard to keep the place up and I will give him a 10 star rating. Thanks Frank we really enjoyed your hospitality.

We did not like that this facility houses low income families that do not pay the sane rate per night. There were issues during our stay with said patrons. We have stayed several years in a row, but will not be back.

Bottom line, in short/summary, this facility should be shut down by Health Department. Not sanitary nor safe...and clearly needs modernized. It's destroying the element of the Clearwater Beach strip!!

The pool was warm and clean. Nice to have a kitchen. First let me say I have stayed here about 4 times with family or myself. I have loved coming to royal north beach up until this time. It’s time to find a new place to stay. IT WAS GROSS! black mold in the bathrooms, under the bed dirty, floor dirty, couch and bed FULL of sand. The worst part… I NEVER SAW THE MANAGER TAKE OUT DIRTY BEDDING AFTER GUESTS LEFT!!! neither did my family. I had a feeling the sheets were dirty because they were full of sand.. but yup! That definitely confirmed it. I was out in the pool all day and watched ppl leave and the bedding never came out! New people went in. GROSSS. Wtf! Manger is nice but that is gross. The old manger Roberto had a whole cleaning crew and he was awesome! He was on top of it. I thought the rooms would be nicer after the hurricane. Nope! My family stayed in the bottom redone rooms. Still dirty and moldy. Also they use to have AC in the bedroom and living room. It’s only in the bedroom. Can get hot if you close the bedroom door. Will most definitely be staying elsewhere if things don’t get cleaned up and fixed. I’m so pissed off. At the very least above all else I expect clean bedding!

We loved how close the hotel was to the beach, it made getting around so easy. The room itself could use some updating, though. The bathroom mirror was gone, only one lightbulb worked, and the tub had noticeable staining. It didn’t feel dirty, just heavily used. We stayed for five nights, and overall it was fine, just not as clean or modern as we’re used to. We loved having the full kitchen and living area. The pool was a nice bonus and was surprisingly quiet, which made it feel almost private.

This is a cute, quainte place to stay right across the street from the beach. Frank, the hotel manager was amazing! I would love to stay here again if I visit clear water beach in the future.

You get what you pay for. Not the most up to date. Mold in showers. Shower curtain smells terrible when it gets wet. Hair clip left on floor from previous stay. Door hardly locks. Although Frank was amazing and took care of us if we needed something, he did forget we were staying and gave away our parking spot so that made it difficult to continue staying. It wasn’t terrible. I probably won’t be back. The location was great. I know this review is all over the place, negative and positive but it’s honest. Thank you Frank for taking care of us.

I don’t want to get anyone in trouble but when I went to check in, no one was there. I had to call the manager who showed up and didn’t know how much to charge me. I showed him my phone which had my reservation info. He charged me an amount that was less and then had to charge me more later. I don’t blame the manager as I feel he wasn’t given the information before hand. He was very helpful during the week we spent there although the tv in the bedroom didn’t work. I told him but it never was fixed. The bed was absolutely horrible and didn’t get a good nights sleep for the entire week we were there. The articles in the kitchen were in bad shape and mismatched. There was trash behind the couch from former guests which I cleaned up. Overall, for the price being a lot cheaper than other hotels, I guess we got what we paid for. The hotel is located near the beach but all the restaurants and beach activities are about a mile and a half walk.

Room I stayed in was updated but very dirty. The shower and tub were absolutely disgusting. The tub was black and the drain was clogged with debris from months of hair, sand, and whatever else. I literally was standing in 8 inches of water taking my shower. Didn't even get to finish it. My boyfriend refused to take a shower in it.

As for the rest, not so great! In the living room, every single cushion on the sofa / chairs were stained or cigarette burned and had a dirty stinch. It could use a good dusting through ou the place as well! In the kitchen, they offered us dirty sponge to clean our dishes if we chose to use them, along with a very stained up dish towel..lol the topper was the drip pans on the oven wrapped in foil from the 90's. On to the bathroom..the towels they offered are from the 90's as well, they have definitely seen alot!! Shower curtain, stained with mold and a very sticky dirty floor. The bedroom was ok, but do not and I repeat do not look at the mattress or the pillows under the cases. You might as well go buy new cheap ones like we did!!

It is perfect for its location. Close to restaurants and bars. Across the street from the best beach in Florida. It is north of Pier 60 and this area of the beach is quieter. The rooms are suites so there is a separate bedroom, a living-room, and a full kitchen with a full sized fridge. Not super modern on the second floor which was not destroyed in the hurricanes of Fall 2024. Lower level rooms were renovated. Not a luxury motel but very functional and reasonable. The rooms are clean and the property is well maintained. There is a lovely swimming pool. No daily maid service which suited me fine. Frank, the on-site manager, is very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend it! I plan to return.

Was overcharged for my stay by $229.08. Had problems with it all week made my stay a lot less enjoyable. I had to call my bank and everything else and I’m still dealing with it after my vacation. I need a vacation after my vacation. Beach was beautiful though.

This place is so run down, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night both nights that we stayed and management did not want to fix the alarms because it would cost money to all someone out not caring that our stay has already been horrible, the only A/C was a tiny unit in the bedroom and the rest of the room was hot. Zero Stars!!

Look elsewhere. Hotel is old and tired. Checkin office is a joke. Mold appeared to be growing on the shower curtain. Floors were dirty. Baseboards and behind furniture was dirty. Questionable if linens were clean. Pump soap was watered down. Gate to pool didn't latch and was easily accessible to the outside sidewalk. Parking on the street.

This property was disgustung! The room had not been cleaned - still crumbs in the table in the room, soap in the bathroom sink from previous guest and the fridge had not been cleaned. A half drank 5th of alcohol with squeezed lemons in the freezer and dirty glass still on the kitchen area sink. After we removed our bags from the room to leave the property,the manager then offered to sweep and ‘pick up ‘ the room. He had already said that he likes that’s particular room and hangs out in it when it’s empty ! It was by far the WORST experience ever traveling.

Check in with excellent, the manager was excellent but the property needs work it's quite run down not what you really expect from the pictures. The pillows in our room absolutely need to be replaced horribly smelly. You can tell it's body sweat or just old. The pool was wonderful with wonderful people we enjoyed that part.

Frank was knowledgeable and helpful, the area was only 1 block from the beach, at the quiet end of the strip, which was nice. Decent amount of space to prepare simple meals.

Pros: location was great for just a quick walk to the beautiful beach and the staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: the place had not been adequately cleaned prior to our arrival. Sheets were clearly dirty, but were changed when it was brought to management's attention. Floors were not very clean and the appliances were cracked. Kitchen cooking supplies were adequate, but only one coffee mug and one bowl were provided.

Property care taker staff was excellent. Cleanliness definately needs improvement. Other than that, location was great. Quiet and peaceful.

Royal North Beach was in a great location and was a nice place to stay. Frank was very accessible for any needs we had. I would recommend staying here!

The manager is wonderful he does everything nobody else works there. He’s very helpful and is there immediately when called. He does the work of 5 people. I don’t know how much he gets paid but it isn’t enough. The only thing that I didn’t like was there’s no parking lot even though they give you a parking permit so you don’t need to pay it’s an inconvenience especially if you have a handicap. I walk with a walker and saw no spots with walker or wheelchair accessibility.

If you want a CLEAN place to stay near Clearwater Beach, DO NOT STAY HERE! We requested a late check-in because we had been at Busch Gardens until late that evening. I was texted a code to get in to our room. We arrived at 10:30 pm and walked into a FILTHY room. There was a glob of toothpaste on the bathroom sink, a wad of hair on the shower wall, and gross soap scum all over. No Kleenex/tissues provided. The bed sheets appeared and felt clean, thankfully, but did not fit the bed and kept coming up on us all night. I was with my adult son who wanted to sleep on the pullout couch in the living room, but there was no bedding provided for it. The floor was so dirty we could not walk barefoot, and next to the bed were dried spots of either urine or vomit. We were so tired we just went to sleep hoping we were on clean sheets. The next morning I tried to make coffee, but the coffee pot was disgusting. There was a very old wash sponge provided that smelled like mildew. When I addressed my concerns to the one person on staff, he said he had to do everything himself. Apparently, that does not include cleaning the rooms. This place is older, which is fine. I’ve stayed in many older motels that were wonderful. But for $250/night, I expect my room to be clean, especially when they(he) had all day to get it ready. No discounts, no refund. I spoke with other tenants who said their rooms were also terrible. The owner needs to invest in a professional cleaning crew. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

When we first arrived at the facility, we were required to put down $10 cash for any amenities. We thought that was strange. When we got into the room, we found it to be not clean. I had to clean the bathroom, wiping away dirt and buildup. The floors hadn’t been swept. We expected sand, but not paper and small pieces of food. The fitted sheet did not fit the bed and kept coming undone during the night. When we checked out, we asked for the $10 back since we didn’t ask for any extra things to be brought to the room. We were told that that was just something they did. I will not stay at this facility again.

It seems extremely difficult to believe this motel received an average review of 8/10. This place is horrendous and shady! Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly man while he was seated outside eating a pizza. He took us inside a small office, took down our information, and issued us a small yellow sticky note with our room number and door code. Afterwards he advised us that we had to pay 5 dollars per day for an amenity fee. Reluctantly, I handed over my credit card to pay the 15 bucks when he said, no, it has to be cash. He placed my 20 in his wallet and handed me a 5. When asked what amenities we were paying for he said shampoo and soap. He then compared this motel to places in California where the amenity fee is usually $150. I told him we travel to California frequently and have never paid an amenity fee. Nonetheless, we moved forward to our room. The entrance gate was broken but currently being repaired. Upon entering our room on the second floor, it appeared sufficient. Upon closer inspection we found food stuck on the floor, security door latch not attached, AC unit very loud, refrigerator is as old rusty and worn, couch arms dirty, stained mattress on the pullout sofa, bed sheets had hair on them, pillows on the bed were flat as a pancake, bathroom had touch up paint on the walls, and bath mirror was dirty. Sticky floors, screaming toilets (yes-screaming nonstop), and just not good. We were here for 3 nights. It appears this place is semi updated but not finished. Frank the property guy is very friendly and trying to make everyone’s stay nice. We didn’t use the pool, bought our own towels to use because the ones provided were not okay. The first room we were put in had a screaming toilet, broken fill valve with a nonstop high pitch squeal. It couldn’t be fixed that day. Thankfully Frank put us in a different room for the weekend. We had a new bed, new couch, new appliances and cabinets, new tv…as I said on its way to being nice just maybe not ready to have guests yet. Hope they get it all done and make it nice. For now it’s a cheaper place to stay, don’t have high expectations and bring your own towels and shower shoes to wear while inside your room everywhere. Beach is a block away between giant houses.

Negative: sand in the sheets (felt not changed), floors dirty (after I showered my feet were dirty quickly) dirty area around tub ledge and ice cube tray in freezer was in pieces but had ice cubes in it. Drawer in stove full of crumbs. Had read lots of positive reviews so was disappointed. We aren’t picky people but it was a little gross.

Cute little hotel directly across the street from the beach. Fitted with a kitchen and living room, very comfortable bed. Very clean. Clean excellent staff, Frank was great!

This hotel was definitely not what we expected. Very overpriced from our experience. The kitchen did look recently renovated and it was a short walk to the beach and restaurants which was nice. Once the gentleman got there to check us in he was very polite. However, the bed sheets had some stains and the towels had bleach spots. There were no towels in the room, we had to ask for them. The pool was dirty and our door did not latch. Thankfully it had a manual lock and a security bar that we could use overnight. There was no way to lock it though when we went to the beach or dinner. Overall our experience was okay but definitely not fantastic.

Not what I expected. Room was extremely dated, and not clean. Bedding was old and ragged. Entry Door didn’t shut properly to lock, Ended up leaving after I had to go to the local bar to tell management no toilet paper in room. No refund of stay due to cancellation policy. Be careful what you sign up for. Moved to another hotel in addition to paying for my 5 days here.

Property could use some love. Frank was very accommodating even after normal hours. I liked that it was located at tye edge of the tourist area which made it less busy. The beach was across the street which was also great! Its a bare bones type of place but overall it fills the need of an affordable place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the first morning we were there they were doing construction on the pool right outside of our bedroon window at 7am!! We were told we were going to receive a 30% discount and have not received this yet. The hotel manager was very nice andaccommodating.

No heat and it was very cold The pool and common areas were under construction with unsafe conditions everywhere. A 2 days refund was made and authorized by the management that did not happen. then they tried to charge more on my card on record that I froze it was my worst experience ever in 50 plus years.

Despite the age of the building, Frank did a great job keeping the place clean. The bed was comfortable. And the kitchen was completely stocked. Being an older building, the climate control leaves much to be desired. Plus the room could’ve had more furnishings. There is a pool just outside your door. The beach one block away. Parking was free too.

Really enjoyed the uniqueness of the room and how spacious the living room was. Frank at the front was really helpful in giving great suggestions of local places to eat, go to Frenchy’s! He also makes you feel welcome to be there.

I’m only giving this place two stars because of Frank the man running the place, but the owner really needs to invest in some updates and a good cleaning staff. In our kitchen hanging over the table was a picture that was covered in mold. The bed was comfortable in our room was nice and clean. We had the room on the right side when you walk in bottom floor. The only reason I would stay here again is because of Frank oh, and there’s also free laundry facility.

Not much to look at on the outside. Inside is just ok. Kinda like grandmas kitchen. Shower bar falling off the wall. Check out process is ridiculous.

The ceiling fan was sufficient for our stay during the month of January.

I needed a room on the first level due to having a prosthesis and Frank, the manager, accommodated me right away. Frank made sure the room was cleaned and had new linens. He was very helpful and asked if I needed help carrying bags or anything else. Would recommend for no frills stay, located 1 block from the beach. There was still some renovations going on but not a big deal for me.

The place is literally a block from the beach. Parking is kinda a hustle as you have city parking by day and then you can find free parking after the sunset. Rooms are mid 90s like suites, nothing new or fancy, but everything served it's purpose. The guy, Jeff I believe, is a one man employee. He literally does everything so you have to be patient, but he's super sweet and down-to-earth. If you are looking for close to beach and okay with the typical independent Indian owned hotels, you will be okay, if not you will absolutely hate it.

Rooms were very clean. The beach access was right across the street. Right down the street from restaurants and nightlife. It was perfect, laid back vibe but within a block of everything. We will definitely be coming back!

Towels in the bathroom where old and mismatched especially the hand towels I regular hand and one microfiber towel the kind you use for cleaning. There is so much more! Grass over grown. Just a trashy looking place.The staff were very nice

Several things need to be repaired As far as plates, silverware, pots and pans, it was obvious that they were just picked up from here and there and not a lot of them. Decor was horrendous and shotty at best. I expected better for the price I paid

The place was so dirty, it looks like it has NEVER been cleaned!!!! The furniture is broken and the bedding hasn’t been washed in God knows how long. It smelled like Fabuloso and the inside of a Goodwill. The TV in the bedroom did not work and when I asked for assistance I was told ,” must be the cable company”. When I asked to be changed to a room with a working television he simply stopped responding. Help was available by text only- no live person to talk to. There is no way I’d ever stay here again, even if they paid me.

Location Rooms are not suitable for rental yet. They need to finish renovating and get the mold out. We had several Rooms and all had issues.

The beach is about one block a cross up the street. The bed was just fine. I was very nice clean rooms. As this place is like having a small apt., I like it there because I can do my own cooking and cleaning. Not much. Just the big block window in the front. Need to find a way to be able to close it over when the sun hits it heats up the room. And make it hard to see the T.V.

Check-in was an experience! The office door was locked, and you have to call the number on the door. A very friendly gentleman met me right away and was super helpful, but the little office setup felt straight out of a scary movie scene. Honestly, a simple self check-in would make things smoother. My unit (#205, upstairs) was like a small apartment — cozy, practical, and full of personality. Nothing really matched: towels, curtains, dishes — everyone was doing their own thing, but somehow that added to the charm. I even found a Bud Light cap on the counter, which made me laugh. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, quiet, and has its own offbeat character. If you’re easygoing, appreciate a little quirk, and just need a safe, comfy place near Clearwater Beach, this place fits the bill.

The Office for Check in would be more welcoming if it wasn’t presented so Primitively. I was REALLY sceptical after being in the Office as to What our suite would look like. I was relieved to find it all clean and well kept. The a/c unit in the bedroom was problematic because it was in Celsius and my husband had a hard time getting the temperature set. We both actually were very cold all night because of that and there’s no way to contact room service for answers. At least when we checked in we’re not told of Any Services available.

Pictures are very old, not reflective of reality. Grounds are open to the public. Unsafe environment with sketchy people hanging around the gate & pool area. Save money snd go to a reputable hotel.

Not nearly what it was. Bare bones in the rooms. Pool was dirty. I imagine they are struggling after 2 hurricanes last year.

Room was disappointing. No mirror in bathroom, sparse furniture (1 couch, 1 chair in living room, 1 side table in bedroom), only 2 small pictures on walls in living area, none elsewhere.

Great place and great service and very close to the beach!! Only down side was that the mini split wasn't enough for the size of the room (suite). Also, there are cube block windows which transfer a lot of sunlight into heat, which is why the mini split couldn't keep up. Made a suggestion to management about just putting a curtain or blinds over those window blocks. That would help a lot.

The front door didnt lock properly, it wasnt safe. However the property manager was very plesant and professional its unfortunately the place was not appealing at all. Needs alot of wirk.

Awesome apartment style rooms, within sight of Clearwater Beach.

We will definitely be staying here again and for longer next time. It is very peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious and very clean. The bedding and towels was of high quality. The pool area was spacious and clean and there were floats and stuff you could take to the beach if you did not have any with you. The beach is a short walk which was a huge plus for us.

It was close to beach Filthy, burn holes in comforter. Said it was updated. Not! Was told 1pm check was ok. Got there after 2pm and I still had to wait nearly an hour. Girl at front desk did not know what she was doing. Charged $20 resort fee and it was no resort! Charged $100 in case of damages and I have no idea how they could tell due to the condition of the room. I took plenty of pictures. Could only submit 4.

The room itself was old, dirty, and smelled bad. The sheets and towels had stains, weird smells, and weren’t even white, probably so the stains wouldn’t show as much. The blanket and towels looked really old and worn out. I left the same day without staying the night. I did get a refund through Expedia, but it took few hours because the owner wouldn’t answer their calls.

Loved everything. Front desk staff was great. Housekeeping was superb. Even the valet service was helpful. I’ll make it a point to stay here on my next Miami trip

So, overall my boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying here. It was so nice to just be able to walk less than five minutes to beach straight from our room. Although, the room itself was alittle dirty. Some of the pillows on the couch were sticky and the bed comforter had stains on it that looked like some type of bowel movement. Besides that it was a nice and spacious place.

Lucked into this gem. We stayed in unit 104 and walked into a newly remodeled unit. The grounds were kept clean and neat. Beach is a block away and Pier 60 is a walkable 15 minutes away. Great overall location and Great Staff!!!! Definitely staying here next time we visit.

Longstanding property but put into very clean and functional condition. Great locay and rates. It is budget but more like a set of air BNBs with full sized kitchen appliances and utensils. Only AC in the bedroom but that's really the only place you need it.

A block from the beach was the best part. The bed was very comfortable and street parking was free. The unit looked nothing like the pictures. The kitchen was missing almost everything. Lots of things were broken or cracked.

When you want to stay at the choir part of Clearwater Beach you’re gonna wanna stay here. There is a pool and the rooms are really good size. Lots of upgrades and amenities. Close to walking and shopping. Highly recommend.

A diamond in the rough! The owner has taken pride in renovating this property and it shows. The suites are beautiful inside,bedding was comfortable and the kids said it was the best pull out couch they have slept on! Walking distance from the stores and restaurants and the beach is right across the street. Don’t spend your money on a chain hotel, support the locals! We will definitely come back on our next trip to the west coast!

The hotel has a great location. The beach is 5 minutes away. Quick check-in. The owner is nice and welcoming. The room is cozy, modest, has everything you need. The room itself is more or less clean, although there are some nuances. But considering that we came to relax on the beach and not sit in the room, everything was ok for us.

The outside was a little sketchy AT FIRST, but it's a beautiful place

It was a really nice room for the price. Ive seen a lot of reviews about it being "outdated" but it has the beachy charm and feel. If i had to say anything negative, it would be the tvs/remote controls were really dumb. Buuut it was like a minute walk to the beach and close enough of a walk to the pier, restaurants, and shopping. Overall would stay there again in the future.

Right across the street to an entry point going to the beach. Very clean and well maintained. Property Manager was very pleasant. Saw him walking around asking if they/we needed anything. We saw him helping guests with getting extra towels even helping others take out their trash. Very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff. Very basic furniture. Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Comforters need an upgrade lol. Overall though it was very good.

The room

I have many positive things to say about our 4th of July stay. First of all its located across the street from the beautiful Clearwater beach. Parking was free, i parked my Corvette in a safe place. I had a one bedroom with 2 full bathrooms, the 2nd BR was unexpected. Very cold cooling system, i loved. Full kitchen with full stove with oven, full coffee maker, blender for frozen drinks, a huge tall refrigerator, 2 flat screen TV's. There is a privacy gate! A clean enjoyabe pool. Too much to mention

This motel is located in the far end. The owners were amazing and they are doing the best they can. However, the motel is an very old building and it is in need of multiple repairs. Our room was on the second floor and the pull out couch mattress did not have a cover and it wsd quite dirty. Our bed was a queen although we had reserved a king. There were no room darkening courtains and we were forced to get up at sunrise. Our room had the old non-working window a/c on the wall with blue tape. The floors did appear clean and the kitchen and everything else appeared clean. Our bed was somewhat confortable but the cover was so small we had to sleep unconfortabley to stay within the limits. We paid $180 plus $5 for the hotel fee and supposedly we were VIPs. Also note that the beach in this area is wonderful although the lifeguard tower was not too far down near Frenchies a great beach restaurant and that was walking distance so it was great.

I spent this weekend here for my twin daughter's 15 birthday. It was a great time and we enjoyed staying there. The next time we come to Clearwater we'll stay there again. The owner was very helpful with anything needed. Thank you sir for making my daughter's birthday weekend enjoyable and something we'll never forget.

The staff, Shasta was so nice. She made sure we had a comfortable stay and was available anytime we needed something. Shasta was professional, superb cleaner, and also made sure our stay was safe.

We had a great stay. It is an old building but it is comfortable and clean. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Location is great. less than a block from the beach and a short walk to stores resturants and other sites.

The rooms are a little dated, but they’re in the process of renovating the entire property. The manager Jay was very cool! He definitely made our stay more enjoyable. Being close to the beach, dining & shopping was super convenient. We will stay again.

Nothing like the postings. We didn’t even stay a single night. Left and booked elsewhere. Sheets were stains dirty and full of hair. There were wholes in the walls. Mold in the bathroom. Just completely rundown dirty and unkept. Stay somewhere else!

Felt like visiting a friends apartment. The room we stayed in was upstairs facing the pool. Lots of kids and peoole in the pool yet the pool was clean. It felt also like we were in another country. The apartments / room we stayed in had a kitchen it was about 600 square feet and 1 bathroom. It was sufficient, the bed was comfortable the water was hot, the water was soft, so probaby a good filter. The place is dated but once you settled in its very comfortable. Has a sink in kitchette area and a frig. In our room. It has a pizza place accross the street. If you are kinda picky this is not for you. But if youre a laid back person i think this choice is good. Were ablento wake up early a go to get breakfast at speed way up the block were able to walk a few block to the ocean and the other wsy to bay for sunrise pics. To the ocean for sunset.

This property has only 2 rooms available to the public and most other rooms are being rented as apartment. This place is completely unsafe and extremely dirty.. we left after one night

Lower level is in the middle of repair from the hurricanes last year. Upper floor rooms are the ones currently available but need alot of TLC as well. A/C in bedroom only. Not cleaned well. Could be a charming place!

Was nice and quiet place with nice room, was under downstairs renovations witch was hindering the look of the property but understandable me a great couple next door to us beach was convenient and very close abit expensive for what was on offer but would stay again next time renovations will be complete and property will be back in shape and beatified

Comfortable

This property was affected by the last hurricane, the entire first floor was closed, the lobby where the reception is in very poor condition, the room with unfinished repairs although it was on the second floor, an unbeatable location and I understand that these are difficult times for the owners to keep it open in these conditions. But honestly, work should not be allowed in this state, much less charge as if it were 100% operational.

First of all, I was very excited since the overall rating was good and the price wasn’t crazy expensive. PROS: The staff was generally nice. Great location, quiet environment. Clean pool. Spacious room. CONS: The entire place is RUN-DOWN. I noticed cracks in the office building, and the place was extremely dusty and uncleaned. The staff charged us $20 for towels and soap—seriously? But fine, I let that slide. The photos online were completely misleading. The exterior paint was peeling, the front gate was never properly locked, meaning anyone could walk in. Inside the room, there was a strong, disgusting odor, so we had to air it out for hours. Honestly, it was worse than any motel I’ve stayed in over 32 years. The deadbolt was weak and broke on the second day. What if an intruder came in? The bathroom ceiling had visible cracks, and the floor was filthy—sticky and gross. The AC and fans were disgustingly dirty. The blanket had stains, making me feel unsafe sleeping in the bed. I never saw a cleaning crew once during my 2-night, 3-day stay. I paid almost $400, but the experience was worse than a $100 motel. Would definitely not recommend. PLEASE RUN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

As other reviewers stated, it’s definitely outdated and needs some major renovations and upgrades. However, for the price and being right across the street from the beach it’s worth the price. The room itself was clean and had all indicated amenities. Decent size size with a kitchen and living room space. The bed was okay, not uncomfortable but nothing special. For our purpose of a quick overnight stay by the beach it was perfect. We did get charged $10 for the resort fee when our reservation email said $5. Not sure if it was a miscommunication between the hotel and hotels.com or what, but I forgot to mention it out checkout.

Also, we booked through Expedia. When we got there- the guy in the front office said his boss told him we never paid an 'amenties fee', which already rubbed me the wrong way because no one even cleaned our room. The amenities- was just the pool. That should be included with the room. Let's be honest, you're staying here for the price, if I wanted to pay an amenities fee, I would have stayed else where. He told me it was $10 a day, so I owed $70. I said- I will get in touch with Expedia and see what this is about. Well turns out, the contract they have with Expedia is $5, so the owner was trying to get us to pay double. The Expedia guy said he would call the front office and let them know. The next day, the front desk guy came up to me and said 'we're gonna just give you it for $5 a night', as if it was a deal. That is what you guys are supposed to be charging people; instead you're scamming them. I would just be careful staying here. It's very very run down, looks like they don't clean much at all.

The staff was amazing! The manager checked in to see how things were every day, they were super courteous and the manager even brought my bags to the room! Definitely top notch service. I stay at hotels often and I have to say I was very impressed!! The rooms have older furniture so if you’re looking for something new and shiny this place isn’t for you BUT the rooms are extremely clean and they have everything you need including a large wall in closet for all your clothes to be hung so you don’t have to live out of a suitcase. The beach is just a walk across the street and since you’re a tad further down the strip there aren’t mass amounts of people at the beach. I definitely give this place a 10/10 and will be back!

Could use some updates. I believe they did their best with what they have but new bedding, old & worn out, dust ruffle had what appeared to have semen stain. lamp shades are dirty & stained, replace ceiling fan in living room, it was so out of balance it couldn't be used & light bulbs were not working. Tv in bedroom didnt work. Window coverings were mismatched. Coffee pot had obviously not been sanitized as well as hot water pot that had old nasty water in it. Stove had old & dirty aluminum foil around burners, should have been replaced in this condition! Stains on sofa & chairs in L.R. It did have great water pressure in shower but bathroom fixtures were very old & cabinet & shelf was old, deteriorating & needed paint. They use some sort of sanitizer or cleaner that was very off putting & strong. I dont think i will stay there again, I believe they could do better for the price even if it is close to the beach.

We loved how close the property is to the beach an other local attractions however the property is in rough shape cosmetically inside. The furnishings were shabby the bed was comfortable enough for the one night we needed. Owners are very accomatating we would prob stay again for the convenience of location.
