Happy with our stay.

The pictures online are bit deceiving, or it could be that our room (103) wasn't fully updated. The kitchen and living room were updated but the bathroom and bedroom clearly were not. The vent in the hallway had one side coming off. The door to get to the balcony was tough to open and at times, I thought was going to come off the track. They show nice chairs online for the balcony but they were plastic chairs that you stuck to. The bed was terrible, not comfortable at all. I actually had to sleep on the couch 2 of the nights because it messed my back up. The phones did not work. We wanted to ride the bikes but there was 1 old looking bike, none of the nice new white bikes they show on their website. The staff at the front desk was nice. Michael, the maintenance guy, had to come and fix the tv, the antenna somehow disconnected. He was very nice. Overall, this place needs a revamp, or maybe it was just the building I stayed in. The location was good.

Great rooms and staff. Would stay here again!! Thank you
- 3/5
The pool was beautiful. Room was fine some updates but very old and broken.
- 3/5
Good time
- 5/5
The pool was great, the room was huge!! Big enough for 4 kids and 2 adults.
- 4/5
Front of the beach
- 3/5
It was ok for the price we paid, everything works and we didd not have any issues. They do not clean the rooms everyday, but the staff is very friendly and helpful so we were able to get some cleaning supplies.
- 5/5
Nice pool area when you want a quick cool-down.
- 3/5
Found couple of roaches in the bathroom closet. Mentioned at the desk, but the staff didn't seem to have any concern. Other than that Service was ok. Getting the extra linen was great.
- 4/5
We liked the convenience it offered of walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the kitchenette it comes with.
- 3/5
This is a motel with a great 7 feet deep pool. Save your vacations in staying in another hotel for like 100 dollars more. Total was like 300 a night and it is only worth about 100. They do not clean the pool, it was filthy in the bottom, my room was clean but they do not come in and clean while you stay. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody.
- 4/5
It was a last minute, in a hurry choice and we do not regret it. Our room was available a few hours before check in. One bedroom, pull out couch, full kitchen and long enough table to eat. We prefer to clean our own space, so no housekeeping wasnt a problem. We asked for a broom, received a vacuum and plenty of cleaning supplies including anything else they offer in the room. Easy to place dirty towels in the hamper and receive clean ones. Pool wasn't maintained well. Too much sand in it and a blob of cheese sat on the edge the entire time we were there. Police Station and public parking in the back of the hotel. Restaurant next door was very accommodating. Mini supermarket, liquor store, convenient store and restaurants in the shopping center next door. 15min walk to the beach. Staff were all friendly. Would stay here again.
- 2/5
It has false information on the website, it shows access to the beach and it does not have it.
- 5/5
Walk to what ever you need, clean rooms and friendly staff
- 4/5
I liked the convenience of parking and the location being further away from the noise. It was also cheaper than a lot of the other places I looked at. The only con was it was kind of dusty and we had to sweep the floors and dust the lamps at arrival.
- 3/5
The room was dirty and we never got our sheets changed. The floor was filthy and dust everywhere.
- 3/5
Hotel was ok, not sure what the 20 dollars a day resort fee was for, really did not seem like a resort. Was at the far end of the strip, was a restaurant and market close by but not much else. Website has “just steps from Clearwater beach” and reviews show private beach access. There is no longer private beach access, is 10 minute walk from public beach.Very disappointed, would not have stayed at this hotel if I would have known it was so far.
- 5/5
Quick stay for us as a couple with sone friends. This hotel was by far the quietest, family friendly hotel. Set up like an apartment makes for enjoying a long stay on the beach with great amenities and covered, easy to access parking, enjoyable stay. Located next to a really good wing and pizza shop, walking distance to public beach so no crazy nightmare, reasonably priced.
- 2/5
There is no elevator! They charge a resort fee but there is no resort. A lot of people “smoking” at the hotel’s parking. The room is dirty, they have ONE pan and terrible silverware. The location is good, that’s all. You can find better option for the same price. I can’t believe people give 5 stars for cleanliness!
- 5/5
Only issue no elevator
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. They were always there for anything that we needed. Our room was clean. Definitely would stay there again!
- 2/5
If you are looking for a “resort” look elsewhere! They will charge you a “resort” fee of $25 separate from the hotel fees because the name of the hotel is coconut cove resort not because there is an actual resort! The rooms are large which is the only plus about this hotel! They have a no smoking policy in or near the premises so if you smoke look elsewhere! I guess for that matter it’s more of a “family” atmosphere, straight up G rated. Sorry but if you come on vacation you want to be free, have fun and vacation. This is the most up tight hotel I’ve ever been to! Thank god it was only for one night and on to the next one! Maybe for some it’s a plus that it’s located next to a police station but it’s very far away from the beach although their advertisements say close proximity to the beach, it is meaning it’s in Clearwater but completely on the outside of town! The pool is beyond dirty! We asked them if they could clean it. A pool attendant came with a pool net for a few swipes and left… the pool was still completely dirty! The wiring of the place is appalling! We plugged in the iron to iron clothes, which is an “included amenity” and two seconds in the power in the room shut of completely, changed outlets and it happened again! Had to iron clothes in the hallway using the bathroom outlets. Any hotel is better than this “resort!” I guess you get what you pay for!
- 5/5
This will be my go to going forward on my stays in Clearwater. Very clean, spacious, and, great location.
- 5/5
Everything was great for our needs!
- 5/5
Everyone was really friendly and helpful! Loved having a kitchen and appreciated the beach towels and waters!!! We would stay here again.
- 3/5
Slider windows havent been cleaned in a while. Patio floor and walls were filthy and need a pressure wash.
- 2/5
It was dirty and beds were extremely uncomfortable. The best part of the stay was the covered parking. Very disappointed especially for what we paid for the room.
- 1/5
We booked a 2 bdroom suite and got a 1bdroom 2 queen beds. There are people hanging in the stairway and a lot of roamers. We arrive at 5:30pm and ended up leaving at 6:00pm after trying to get a refund. That they are still refusing to give. So unprofessional . On top of that we had to drive all the way back home.
- 3/5
Staff was great. Was a little disappointed that there was no room service and we had to go get our own fresh towels and toiletries. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Probably the most disappointing part was the TV and cable. There was no channel guide and half the channels looked like the attached photo. Granted we weren’t in the room a lot but it would have been nice to have early in the morning or end of the day. Overall it wasn’t bad but maybe slightly overpriced for the amenities or lack there of.
- 5/5
Enjoyed Everything about this hotel and plan to come back.
- 5/5
Everything was quiet nice, I alike the covered parking areas
- 5/5
Excelente precio excelente atención solo señalar que el internet es muy difícil de conectar
- 3/5
If you want to be on the Clearwater strip, it’s a great location; however, I could easily hear cars all night. The mattresses were bad and the pillows were flat and un-fluffable. There was dust everywhere in our unit so it’s hard to feel like it was cleaned well. Overall, good location, but run down. Nice to have kitchen amenities
- 5/5
Love it very cozy and close to everything
- 5/5
Large rooms.
- 2/5
Hotel is ok. Has a lot of potential. Cleaning crew needs to do a better job. Dirty floor, dirty beds linen were dirty & we woke up with bed bug bites on arms.
- 5/5
We only had one nights stay but it really is a cute place. The room had a full kitchen and was extremely clean. Very nice bathroom and the pool was awesome. The kids loved it. Not overly crowded and kinda like a little hidden gem. Heads up though, there is no elevator, so if you are physically disabled you want to be sure to request a ground level room. Dont let that stop you from checking out this great place, though. Whomever cleans these rooms does so meticulously, it really was spotless! Also its right next to a small cluster of shops, one being an awesome pizza place. Definitely worth checking out.
- 5/5
It was good for a quick get away it was very spacious and a good pool so we didn’t have to always go to the beach
- 5/5
Sanella and Anthony
- 2/5
In general the hotel is nice location, nice pool but a bit outdated. The main problem is the cleanliness. Especially for the price you pay in the Clearwater beach area. Your socks will get dirty right away on the room floor. The couch was dirty etc. Air cleaning device above the stove probably hasn’t ever been cleaned - lot of grease in there. Airconditioning sound was also very loud. Don’t really understand why don’t they invest in better and more thorough cleaning.
- 3/5
This was my 3rd time staying here, with that being said we won’t be returning. Let me explain why. This past visit things have gotten weird at this hotel. The hotel itself is pretty nice, and clean enough no complaints with the rooms themselves. The office staff is always nice and accommodating. However this time around we noticed there was nothing but transgendered staff running around as well as you’d see them hanging out in the parking lot I have nothing against lgbtq community but it was strange, like why all trans women? Then also this visit we realized they have a few prostitutes (younger black women) that hang out and sit in the parking lot once it gets later in the evening and are there until the early morning hours. You’ll see them go up and down from a room But it seemed as though a staff must know they are there and allow it they weren’t hiding or concerned with being caught? Idk what they have going on there now but it’s a shame because it used to be a nice little motel.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed this hotel and the pool area is awesome, close to many walkable food and beach as well!
- 5/5
Outstanding experience!
- 5/5
Nice, convenient , big, wish the pool was open later!
- 4/5
The rooms are not very sound-proof from neighbors or outdoors. It needs an update and some repairs. The pool is wonderful and few people used it. Staff was very helpful and bottled water was much appreciated.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our short stay. The staff was very accommodating and the facilities were perfect for what we needed. I would def stay with them again.
- 5/5
It was very good
- 4/5
I took my kids down for their spring break and we enjoyed ourselves! The area is perfect and they had free trolleys to get around on right in front of the hotel. The staff was nice and the rooms were great sizes and clean for the most part. Amenities could be better but we were barely there(too busy enjoying our city pass) so wasn’t too big of a deal for me. Only thing I hated was how you could hear everything next door. My last night there was awful. Guest next door was super loud and banging on the walls it seemed like & I called front desk but they never came to stop it like they said they would. The banging didn’t stop until after 4am so I decided to checkout early. Overall, I would probably stay again during off season.
- 5/5
Well priced. Large size of unit. Clean. No issues.
- 5/5
There was a market, liquor store and taco place just a 2 minute walk from the hotel which was very convenient! Our room was very clean and having a dishwasher was a great plus when traveling with kids. The balcony was spacious and had a view of the pool. We were able to walk to Clearwater beach within 10 minutes and walk another 10 minutes to the Pier. We liked that we were a little bit away from the beach since the beach was packed due to it being a spring break week. I would stay here again!
- 3/5
The pool area was nice and had a great parking area but the room floors were very dirty.
- 5/5
Room was very nice
- 5/5
Nice family friendly place
- 5/5
Location was great and room was nice. It is an older hotel but was clean. We would stay again
- 4/5
Nice!
- 5/5
i have vacationed on clearwater beach for 40 years and our family all said the same thing everything about coconut cove fit every age group beautiful pool, helpful staff, a grate experience
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean.
- 2/5
We didn't have blankets for the pull out couch. When I went to the lobby to ask for blankets, they said they were sorry, but they didn't have any. Maybe tomorrow. My son had to sleep on the pullout couch with towels. We only had 3 spoons provided. And no cooking sheet for the oven. When I went down to ask, I was told maybe tomorrow. We had already bought food and were ready to cook it. I asked for tin foil. None. I then petitioned for anything and they found me a semi-clean disposable roasting pan. Turns out when we turned the oven on, it started smoking, with smoke alarm going off. When I went down to ask, I was told that maybe there was just something in there from the previous resident. Ugg. The stairwell to my third floor had no lights. At night had to go up the steps using my phone flash bulb. Phone in my room didn't work. I had to walk to lobby for all requests. When I told front desk about the phone, they said supply chain issues... Kurig Coffee maker didn't work properly. Every other attempt produced something drinkable.
- 5/5
Brought my family here for spring break vacation. We have 2 kids and we felt safe the entire time. Smaller hotel so the pool was never crowded. Rooms were spacious enough to be comfortable for the entire week. Rooms have full kitchen so we were able to pick up some groceries and did not have to eat out every meal.
- 4/5
The stay was amazing, the room was clean. It didn’t smell, it wasn’t moist or damp. It was honestly great! The only complaint I have is that the tv wouldn’t connect to the internet properly, so we couldn’t sign into any apps to watch the shows we hoped to watch.
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
The location of this property is great. Lots to do in walking distance. The rooms could use some updating and it would be nice for rooms to be equipped with brooms or vacuums but they were big enough for our family of 4 in a one bedroom . The pool area is cute and perfect for kids and never crowded! Laundry area was tricky sometimes bc machines were down often but staff was on it. We would stay here again for the price and location!
- 5/5
We were able to checkin early which was fabulous! It’s a walk to the public beach but that was ok too!
- 5/5
Super size suite very nice location. Would stay there again
- 4/5
My daughter and I came for a 4 day get-away. The room was nice and quiet. There is not daily house keeping but, I do wish they would at least come by once a day to remove garbage and check on towels. Otherwise, we enjoyed being a little off fof the beaten path but, still walking distance to everything we needed. I appreciated the kitchenette since I was travelling with a 4 year old. It was nice to be able to make her breakfast and snacks without having to venture out.
- 2/5
Also, when my aunt called front desk to ask where ice machine was they said to use ice tray in freezer and make her own. Might have worked if there was one.
- 2/5
The accommodations of Coconut Cove are fine, nothing special, but commensurate with the costs. We were forced to leave our room at around 7a on Sunday morning when the fire alarm would not stop going off. We had to leave to fish so we asked if we could have a late check out - we couldn't comfortably gather our belongings w/ the fire alarm going off non-stop. The woman at the front desk was very rude, she denied our request for a late check out and informed us that it wasn't her fault the alarm was going off. If nothing goes wrong Coconut Cove is a fine place to stay on a budget, but if you need any consideration in the way of service my belief is that they will absolutely fall short. All in all, the staff failed to meet our already low expectations.
- 5/5
Definitely would stay here again
- 4/5
We had key card trouble when we arrived but the staff was excellent in fixing the problem. Our room was clean and spacious and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Would stay again
- 2/5
Pictures show a full kitchen. Not a single knife, fork, plate, glass, pan, etc. No housekeeping! $20.00 per day resort fee? It appears we have significantly reduced the standards for what a resort is. Overpriced is an understatement.
- 3/5
Hotel was pretty run down
- 5/5
We’re incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful.
- 3/5
Excellent location across the street from the beach (no views) and large rooms, but the hotel itself is tired and and run-down. But that's why it likely costs 1/2 what the nicer hotels nearby charge.
- 3/5
No frills but
- 5/5
Great pool view.
- 4/5
Nice location looks nice.
- 5/5
Close to food and the beach
- 1/5
We paid a premium for the room months in advance. On arrival we were charged $53 /day for "resort fees" For that there was no breakfast, no turn down service, a broken in-room fridge which caused a room change. The floors were sandy and dirty, the staff were unaccountable and unprofessional. After changing rooms, our original room sat unattended the entire stay. Resorts usually take care of their customers. We were ripped off. I would never stay at this place again. The bars and restaurants near by were excellent.
- 5/5
Very good and clean place to stay in.
- 3/5
condition of room was very old furniture in poor condition
- 4/5
The room was a good size and the property is a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay.
- 3/5
It is very old building. And verybexpensive relative to other hotel around.

- 5/5
Great place to stay in Clearwater Beach, FL! The staff is friendly, rooms are clean and very nice. Great kitchen fully equipped. The pool was beautiful with water falls. The staff will go over and beyond to provide everything you need. Great shops and restaurants next door. We truly enjoyed our visit! Excellent service!
- 4/5
The suite was great, updated and had necessary items. Unfortunately, when booking the reservation I wasn’t informed that I would not have house keeping the entire stay. Drive with kids over 13 hours and did not come prepared to clean. We had to go out and buy cleaning products . I cleaned the floor the first day we of arriving because my youngest child’s feet were very dirty from walking on the floor. Overall, it’s a nice hotel. The pool is nice, and it’s an easy walk to the beach. The staff was excellent, friendly and did their best to accommodate requests.

Everything was very nice. Staff was very helpful.

It was amazing! Great location, people, restaurants. Phenomenal!

At 10pm while my children were sleeping, there was a major water leak from the ceiling where the AC unit was located. It woke up the entire family. The repair man came to the room immediately, but barely spoke any english. I had to move my family to another room located in a different building. The night supervisor told me I wouldn't be compensated for this since he placed me in a pool side view room. Really? Now it's around 11pm, my children and wife are miserable due to the move and I'm not getting compensated since I can look out the window to see a pool? Horrible customer service. There's also NO supervision at this hotel. The supervisor would not address noise complaints due to loud children screaming and running around the property at night! He told me children will be children. Totally unprofessional.
