It is a nice mom and pop hotel and economical. It is VERY convenient to walk over to the beach. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance which is great because parking in Clearwater is expensive and hard to find. The pier and the marina are also an easy walk. The pool is nice and gets good sun so it’s nice to take a swim after coming back from the beach. The kitchenette is VERY basic. We had one skillet in our unit- a couple of plates and a few glasses and coffee cups. But we were eating out anyway. We just had breakfast in the room. There was a small coffee pot. The fridge was spacious. No ice on site- so either buy some and put in the freezer or bring an ice cube tray. The bed was clean and comfortable. The AC was kinda loud- overall the property very quiet. Bring a sleeping mask- there are no blackout curtains. The owners are a very kind couple. So as long as you set your expectations for a no frills mom and pop budget hotel- you will be fine here. It is clean and comfy.

Tropical Sky Ranch was a very enjoyable experience within walkable distance of almost everything on Clearwater Beach. The owner is very sweet, kind, and she really finds joy in serving the travelers of Clearwater Beach!

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint perfect location. We had everything we needed with a small kitchenette and lovely pool. Across from the beach and owners are very accommodating. Free parking and owners offer beach towels and chairs. We cannot wait to return.

Would suggest that the beds be upgraded our bed was uncomfortable, the blinds allowed too much light in the morning, Our air conditioning was stuck on high should be fixed. I did not get notify owner of issue . Pool is available but not heated so it’s not used. This place was in the perfect location and distance from the beach, owners are pleasant. This motel was convenient and cost effective it was a good option for those on a budget I was a good stay. Thanks
