Very nice view on clearwater

Pool was very nice and we appreciated the safety feature of needing to use a key card to enter the pool area- kids CANNOT get to the pool without an adult. We were traveling with 3 kiddos so this was huge for us. Every attraction we wanted was within walking distance. We walked through a souvenir shop to get to the ocean. 5 walk to the dolphin/pirate tour boats. 10 minute walk to Pier 60. Kings Pizza was a 5 minute walk and was DELICIOUS. Only negative was parking- $38 a day parking was a little intense, but for a beach town and garage/valet parking I understand the inflated cost.

The staff in the Lobby/ Check-in were very knowledgeable and helpful, even when they were really busy they maintained a calm and friendly demeanor.

Perfect location to restaurants and beach access. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a bit of everything. I will definitely be staying here again!

However, for the budget relative to other hotels nearby we got what we needed. Breakfast was good, although was crowded nearer to 10am. We also didn’t really like that it was valet parking. The hotel has a large car park, and it would be easy for residents to self park but that was not an option - felt a bit of a money making scam, especially at over $40 a day when beach parking is only $15-20.

Digital room/elevator cards did not work consistently. Extra fee of $38/night to park even for hotel guests.l was over the top. Stains on room couch cushions and tear in floor carpet. Location was good but not beachfront. Plenty of other places to chose from to stay next time.

They had an excellent buffet breakfast with lots of options to choose from. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was nice to have a kitchen in the room.It made all the difference in the world. All the necessary appliances and dishes were available. I would highly recommend the marriott Residents Inn.

The hotel is very popular with almost all rooms occupied. Breakfast is good with many options, rooms r clean. The only concern is the manager who is not willing to value customers and help them to feel valued.

Very expensive and we didn't get a real beach view

There are two negative issues. The first is the loud music playing at Coco’s bar next to the hotel at night. The music is good but you just have to be prepared to hear it all night. We actually had a nice sit down lunch at Coco’s Bar. Service was good there. We called and ordered pizza and wings from King’s Pizza that we took to the beach. The other negative is their way of overbooking the hotel. My brother had a reservation for Saturday check in. He booked directly through Marriott. On Friday afternoon he got an email from “lodging dynamics” stating that there is some issue with his credit card and to contact them before 7 pm to discuss or else they will cancel the booking. First of all, they gave him less than three hours notice to reply to this message. Secondly, my brother was at a theme park in Orlando at the time so isn’t going to read this email in time. Thirdly, he wouldn’t be inclined to read an email from Lodging dyn

Was promised harbor view and got pool view. That was my only disappointment.

Breakfast is great and one of the reasons we like to stay there but my room was not the same as I had picked and we did not have a balcony but we still stayed and enjoyed our time.

Staff were helpful and friendly and arranged a later check out for us. The breakfast was good with something for most. Unfortunately no plant based milk and queues at the 3 coffee machines constantly. We did enjoy our stay here and will stay again this year!

The hotel overall was in horrible condition. The room was dark, musty, and did not feel clean or comfortable.

I ask him why so the wine is served with real glass and cocktail no but he was bit lost in what to answer to me. So I decided to take the cocktail in the bar next door where they served in real glasses. The breakfast was overcrowded, nobody to control and organize it. It was the worst breakfast I had and food was really tasteless.

Noise, freezing pool. Do not stay here. Manager told me to wear ear plugs as he wouldn't change our incredibly loud room. I was traveling with a family of 4. You can't put ear plugs on a baby or a 3 year old. Incompetent and rude duty manager.

Some staff was puzzled by our complaint while others acknowledged the problem as a usual occurrence. Would recommend not staying on the beach side, if you do stay here. Be aware, parking is an additional 38$ a night. Hotel does provide towels for the beach. Breakfast was good, just same thing everyday.

All of it was 5 star!! Clean and beautiful and great rooms. Had best view! Just a bummer with no hot tub or a heated pool. That was the only down side. Food was really good as well. The oatmeal was my favorite. It has all the thing you can think of that you would want in your oatmeal

Clean room, but uncomfortable pull out bed. Was told another room would be available on our last night but no one followed up. Pillows were uncomfortable as well. Facility was clean. Poolside was nice. Front desk staff were very nice but breakfast staff not so much.. breakfast selection was decent but would have been nice to have more fresh fruit options. Think I would try another hotel if in the area again.

We had a great (first ) stay at this Hotel. The staff was kind and very prompt with everything. We really enjoyed the breakfast daily and the valet parking guys and girls were incredible! Once the heater was fixed in the pool, we really enjoyed that..and the live music friday night!! Our room was perfect with the balcony view ❤️Having a mini kitchen and fridge was ideal. The pull out bed in the couch however was very uncomfortable, even for my kids. Only other downfall was the laundry situation. The washers did not drain well and left the clothes completely soaked, the dryers also did not work (even after 3 dry cycles) we were very dissapointed in that and hope they fix them!!! However, all in all we loved our stay and will def be back. Last thing ill add was the location of the hotel was ideal, so close to everything..perfect walking distance!

to move us to. It was so hot in the room all week. Letting people put towels on chairs every morning at 8am and then not using them until noon is ridiculous. Should be first come. Went down to breakfast the last morning and some kids had their dog in the food area and it pooped on the floor. It was absolutely disgusting. Can’t say we would stay again.

Would not recommend hotel or area

We stayed two weeks. The room was close to the stairs and a small elevator which was great for us as we stayed with our dog. The reason why I did not rate the stay excellent is because there was nowhere to dry the swimsuits. There was a laundry room on premises but the swimsuits cannot be dried there. Next time will get a room with a balcony. Also the AC was blowing straight on the bed and I developed an head cold but it was hard to sleep with it on but too hot without it.

Staff was generally rude at the front desk (ignored for several minutes while they just chatted), breakfast staff snapped at me when I asked for more syrup. Had to continuously ask for more towels as we were only given 4 for a six person room and five person stay. Room was not ready and had to wait with cold food to put in a refrigerator in the lobby for over a 1/2 hour. I expected more from Marriott.

Booked a room king room with balcony through hotels.com and prepaid . Was told they were sold out and cold only give me 2 queens no balcony .. I live locally . The balcony near the water was the ehole point of the trip … was told that people who didn’t book third party were priority .. very disappointed.. was told to come back at 10am next day for another room . So I didn’t settle in or unpack . When I checked he said we’re still full . This was a waste of time and energy. I felt like I was being pacified so I would leave him alone .. smh

We arrived around 12pm and the room wasn't ready until 405pm when we went back to the front desk to inquire about it. They were able to store our luggage while we waited for the room, however. We had a gorgeous view of the bay and enjoyed the balcony and the room overall. I couple of areas of concern were the shower with a poor water pressure and the temperature was super-hot. The AC vent was also included in front of the king bed and when the air came on, it was like an arctic blast blowing over us in bed in high force. I would recommend the location of the vent to be moved elsewhere making it more comfortable for the guests.

“On February 1, 2026, the low temperature in the Clearwater Beach area was 33°F. Part of a record-breaking arctic cold front that moved through Florida.” - I had NO heat in my room for 48 hours. My Heating Element had to be replaced. - Plus, the last night of my stay, I retired at 9:00 PM to get up at 5:00 for a long drive. At 10:30 I called the Front Desk complaining about a Live Band at an Outdoor Bar below my bedroom window. They said it would stop at Midnight. 1) I complained at Checkout and later on a phone call with the manager for a refund. 2) The manager said he’d get back with me. 3) He never did…

Room felt neglected- thermostat went out around midnight and we had to move rooms. Next room wasn’t much better

The highlight of my visit was the exceptional customer service. A special shout-out to Francesca, whose friendly demeanor and attentiveness truly made a difference. I was even granted a late check-out due to my late flight back to Canada, which allowed me to relax comfortably in the beautiful lobby while I waited for my Uber. I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I’m in Florida. Highly recommend .

Location was excellent. Staff was awesome. Especially Erica from food services. She had such a great attitude, always laughing and smiling. A great way to start your day just by being greeted by her. Everyone that worked there was so positive and very helpful. It definitely made the stay there more enjoyable. The cost of the parking. When we made reservations we only found that there was parking. There was no clear communication that parking was almost $40 per day. No discount or anything for guests after what you pay to stay there per night. But we still plan on staying there again. Just experienced sticker shock.

I always enjoy staying at this location, whether for work or play. Stayed in Residence Inn side, it’s a bit worn from beach water and sand. Phone did not work, had to go to lobby for extra towels. We had a wonderful view and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Will be back.

Only thing I did not like was that the thermostat in our room would not work (either that or they don’t let you adjust temperature and have an energy saving setting on that was soo annoying as I can’t sleep in warm temperatures!) woke up drenched in sweat each morning. AC should always be working in Florida lol. Other than that great stay!

I liked the location, valet parking staff, breakfast There is an Outdoor Bar on one side of the property that beats drums and plays loud music with drunk people yelling and screaming until 1:00am, BOTH times that I stayed there, I was placed on that side of the hotel. They knew there was an issue and that I had a bad experience the first time. I gave them another chance and still they put me on that end of the hotel. SO again I had sleepless nights. It’s too bad because everything else was nice.

Location is unbeatable for Clearwater Beach vacation. Just down the elevator is everything. Best bars & restaurants, beach store , beach, pier 60 is like 5 minutes walk. Excellent place for families.

Property is located very close to the beach. There are several dinning options within walking distance. The room was mostly clean. The sofa was a little old and worn. Bed was comfortable and the balcony had great views. Kitchen made it easy to cook and was an alternate to going out. The only thing I would mention is that I could hear other people’s conversations as I was in the bathroom. There didn’t seem to be a lot of soundproofing in the hotel. I would stay again but be sure to stay in a room with a balcony.

The staff gives you everything you ask for and calls your room to male sure you got it. Breakfast has variety of items scrambled eggs, sausage, turkey patty, tacos, hard broiled eggs, cheese, bagels, toast bread, yogurt, milk, cereal, waffles, coffee, juices. Great. The pool is heated and you can ask for beach and pool towels. You can ask for cleaning every day.

The staff was amazing - so kind. The beds and couch were AWFUL, so uncomfortable. Had to go straight home instead of getting to enjoy the area for the day. I didn't get here till 5:30. Checked out at 11:00 and left because my back hurts so bad from the poor furnishings

There was no beach view. We had a room overlooking a part of the city that was actually unattractive. The bed was uncomfortable but it would work for 3 nights. The room looked nice and parking was ok but they didn’t tell us until check in that parking was $38 per night. We weren’t far from the beach, so that was a plus. We were fine but most likely would not stay there again. The breakfast was ok and the hotel staff seemed nice. The worst thing about it was the noise of the club/restaurant that was below the window. Saturday night the noise blasted until maybe 2am. Sunday the noise shut down earlier. Overall 8 out of 10.

We really appreciated where the property was located. Extremely walkable to the beach and restaurants. Our view was incredible, loved waking up to the beautiful bay sunrises. The room itself was good. The shower is odd, (needs a different kind of door/add a curtain) water got all over the floor. So, we had to use many towels to mop up. Bed was ok. Was really nice to have a kitchenette with various kitchen items. The breakfast buffet was decent, nice variety of foods and we saved some money by eating there instead of going out. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

2nd time staying at this hotel. We loved it! Makes us feel like we’re truly on a luxurious vacation.

This is the best Residence Inn I have stayed at. Every year we go Clearwater due to our son’s Martial Arts competition and this was our first time at Residence Inn. Everything was perfect but breakfast was the best I had in the past in any hotel. From now on, staying there every year.

Very nice property, very nice and friendly staff, onsite maintenance! Our AC was making a lot of noise so we mentioned it to the front desk, and they had maintenance in our room to fix it within 10 minutes!

We loved everything about the property. The only downfall was the streaming options and the TV channel guide was not working.

The property was clean and neatly located on Coronado Drive. I did not like that They charge $40 a night for parking despite occupying a room at the hotel. Directly across the street from the hotel there is $15 a day parking all day. This hotel is not even trying to match that, it's giving greed!

This property is in the perfect spot to walk everywhere! It’s very quiet and insulated so you don’t hear people in other rooms. The breakfast is great! Great views! The staff are awesome!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Both stays have been very nice. This time we traveled with our dog. I suggest if traveling with a pet to stay on a lower level floor. so street access is quicker. Behind the buidling towards the Marina is a nice area to walk your dog and there is a pet waste station available right near the hotel parking garage. My only negative of the hotel is the $38.00 daily parking fee.

I didn't like the high valet prices. Breakfast was ok. Need more waffle makers, stovked more often, no biscuits and gravy. Liked various cereal options. Yogurt and toppings nice. More toasters needed. Rooms great, pool nice, view of intercoastal nice. Excellent location. Walkable to beach. Clean rooms and hotel. Fitness center awesome.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice great breakfast. My only complaint is when you asked for your room to be clean that it’s not clean very well. I asked for my bedding to be changed and it wasn’t done until the next day Had sand all over the living room floor, which wasn’t vacuumed. They didn’t clean the toilet.

We love the continental breakfast and the proximity to the beach. Very clean and spacious with a great staff! Although, parking can be pricey but it offers convenience.

The pool was directly outside the lobby and received direct sun first thing in the morning till early evening. The kids had a blast and there were numerous spots for my wife and I to set up and read a book or take a break from the pool. Thankfully they provide towels for use at the pool and beach. Speaking of which, getting to the beach is a quick affair, just walk across the street and through a convenience/tourism store. Super easy! As for our room, we had a suite with a king sized bed, pullout couch/bed. For what we paid, the space is just large enough for our needs and the kitchenette has everything to make any stovetop or microwave meals you might want. For food, we had groceries delivered on our first day and any other needs we bought from the store across. While we made frequent use of the kitchenette, we did eat out probably once a day. A cheap and decent option that fills you up is King's Pizza three buildings down. Otherwise our favorite place to eat that was also fairly affordable was Taco Bus. The only detractor was that it was almost a mile away and doesn't have a beach view. Crabbys off the beach was more expensive but quality was good. Overall, a great experience!!

The staff is very nice and accommodating, the room is spacious and offers many amenities. The walk to the beach was easy. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to prepare basic food. However - the bed was horribly hard and it made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep.

The Residence Inn was brilliant. We had a good stay and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. It is conveniently located near the beach and other facilities. Breakfast is very repetitive (scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes every day) so we ended up cooking our own in our room. The kitchen facilities in the room were good and served us well. The king size bed was very comfortable and it was good to have a balcony to relax on in the evening. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future.

We came here 7 years ago for our honeymoon. Decided to make a quick stop again on our fltrip this year, and glad we came back. Still clean and well kept.

I had a great family vacay, smooth check in , great front desk , clean , nice size suite , great views marina , 5 minute walk to the beach thru surf shop , free breakfast buffet with several food choices , tasty , nice pool and relaxation area , restaurants in walking distance , nice hotel friendly and attentive staff front desk, house keeping , maintenance , I’d stay again !

I like how there was a full kitchen. The streaming apps however were laggy and there wasn’t a shower door. Overall a great stay.

The bed was very uncomfortable. I could not sleep solidly. I would wake up with pain in my lower back or sides. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They offer a great selection at breakfast that can accommodate to many diets and it is real food.

We didn’t like that Coco’s had live music that played until midnight or later. Just because we didn’t have time constraints, we had to deal with noisy music late into the night. We really liked the hotel and would enjoy another stay on future trips!

It’s a short walk ( 2 minutes) to the beach, the gift shop is across the street and you can walk to the beach through there( that’s a bonus). There are plenty of restaurants and shops all around. CONS The restaurant next to the hotel can get loud at night The sofa bed was very uncomfortable Other than that, I have no complaints.

Overall, the hotel is very nice, but the only downside is the noise from the nearby bars and restaurants. They play extremely loud music after midnight, and we couldn’t sleep.

Except that parking is $38 per night everything was great!!

The pool was great, the beach was right across the street. The property was right on the strip, walkable to restaurants, the beach and the Pier. Wasn’t aware that parking was valet only and $38 a day, but the valet personnel was friendly and had your vehicle ready fast.

My check-in experience at this hotel was not good.

it was okay until i got to hotel and they told me my room wasn’t available because ac went out, they put me in another room with a kitchenette, worst one ever, they told me that they even lower my stay each night $50 each night, so why 1st reservation was 698.00 perfect for me and kids and the room gave me, they charge me $690 dollars, so what happened to my discount.. so they had my number they could of called me about reservation, because i could of book to another hotel…

First time staying here and my boyfriend and I loved it! We did request a balcony room but unfortunately none were available which ended up being ok because the room itself was stunning. We loved how close we were to the beach and other restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We do wish there was more variety for breakfast and possibly already premade waffles- there was always a big line. Being across from a big store that has everything was so convenient. Only complaint is the drinks at the bar being overpriced!! Overall we loved our stay and plan to return back!

Close to the beach, restos and shop stores, which is a big plus. Cleaned our room without prior notice, our valuables are wide open, nothing lost but i just hope they would inform us before entering our private space.

Everything was wonderful about our stay except for how loose the plug in outlets were. Woke up one morning and everyone’s device was not charged at all.

Everyone is friendly from the front desk to the housekeeping They care and work from the heart Estella, the housekeeper is amazing Will be back again Would recommend to friends, family and everyone

All was good except united made us lose a day but the hotel cooperated and charged only thrrr nights valet parking was good and Jose bird the general man and Liz at front desk were very nice and the shop right across called surf style was awesome with lots of selection

Our room was on the 6th floor over looking the pool with a small balcony that had 2 chairs and a table , room had a small kitchen with microwave stove top dishwasher coffee machine and fridge , sleeper sofa in the lounge area . I stayed for 5 nights and housekeeping only came once which was a little frustrating For a room that can sleep 3/4 persons I had to keep asking for coffee/tea and milk . Hotel is a short walk to the beach and has a Starbucks coffee just outside as well as 2 restaurants and a liquor store. Swimming pool is open till 10pm . Breakfast was only mediocre, more bread, cakes and sugary cereals that anything else, if you happy to eat powdered eggs and potatoes/beans then you are all set. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very clean, pool was great

The staff was outstanding from valet to housekeeping. The front desk staff especially the late night desk attendant Lex was extremely great and kind!! He really set a high bar for standards of service.

This lobby area was nice and staff was friendly. The pool area had a nice seating and clean. The room setup was nice but the room had a funny smell and the bed was so hard I barely slept. The hotel was in close proximity to the beach and close to shops and restaurants.

The sofa sleeper mattress was terrible so the front desk got us a comfortable rollaway bed right away.

Room was very nice. Location was central to everything and easy to get to everything.

Visited as a family of 5. We were originally booked to stay in a hotel next door which had free parking, but opted for the Residence Inn as despite paying for valet parking ($38 per night) we had complimentary breakfast which we made the most of! The breakfast is fairly extensive; different kinds of sausages each day, eggs, breakfast potatoes, all the different kinds of breads, bagels, waffle station, fruit, pastries, etc. we even made ourselves a little packed lunch to take to the beach which we kept cool in a cooler that we bought from Surf Style directly opposite the hotel. (The Surf Style store is your shortcut to the beach, go through here instead of around the buildings, it’s quicker and cooler.) The hotel room was great for us, kitchenette also was a plus to store cold drinks and freeze bottles of water to put in our cooler to take to the beach. Ice is available near the elevators too. Ask for beach towels at the reception to save you washing your own. The reception were very helpful. Access to upper floors was by keycard only which made us feel safer. On our last day we could still use hotel facilities including asking the valet to keep our car keys safe whilst we spent the day on the beach. Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill was a nice evening dinner. The liquor store next to the hotel that out room overlooked was noisy on our first night (Sunday) karaoke and music till after midnight, but we were tired from a long haul flight so didn’t bother us too much. Great pool.

Excellent location directly across the street from the beach. The free breakfast was actually very good!! If you have any physical limitations you’d probably want to contact the hotel directly to request a room closest to the lobby & pool as the building layout can have you wandering the halls for quite a while to reach your room. Our room was at the far end. Parking is expensive. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Would recommend for families.

Lovely hotel, great staff. But it's LOUD! There was a noisy bar that is allowed to play loud music until midnight on a weeknight and drunk people outside being rowdy. The vents carry sound badly and we could hear tv's, laughter, and even a very...amorous couple. Not the place to go if you like to go to bed early or require a very quiet sleeping arrangement
