Best Western Clovis Cole

The location was lovely, situated in Old Town Clovis. Great access to restaurants and bars within walking distance. The property was very clean and quiet and well-run. The staff was efficient and polite, but somewhat aloof. Breakfast had many options, with the pre- cooked options (eggs, sausage, poratoes) being the least desirable. It was an excellent value for the price. I would stay here again.

The hotel was in a very nice location close to shopping bars and restaurants. The only draw back was they did not have working vending machines. You could purchase water from the front desk and they did have some restaurants you could order from.

I gave the hotel two stars for the location because it was conveniently located right in downtown walking distance from a lot of restaurants and bars. I give the hotel 0 stars because it’s older, ran down, stains on my comforter & we had the cart outside of our hotel getting ready to bring our bags out and somebody pounded on our door and said are you checking out? I responded yes we are getting ready to leave right now. Obviously the cart was outside of our door and she responded well it’s 11 o’clock very rudely so for that reason, I will not be returning to this hotel because how unprofessional and rude!! The lady looked like she was on drugs.. I will take my money elsewhere!

It is a nice room in downtown.

We didn't like our stay. The price was very high, and throughout the night there were people yelling and swearing in the hallway, being and sounding aggressive. Made me concerned for my family. Also although there was no smoking in the rooms, the whole second floor hallway smelled of cigarettes. The room didn't smell, but the hallways did. We won't start there again. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The room needs a refresh. Worn and outdated carpet and furnishings. Paid extra for a room with a fireplace that didn’t work. The location is perfect, but the room desperately needs a remodel!

I Love this little hotel. Its basic, but the location is perfect for me every time I come to Clovis. Clean, quiet, and perfectly located. Everything I need when i come to town.

This is a great property, it’s super close to town so it’s very walkable and fun. They were having some sort of adorable Halloween festivity in the parking lot next-door and that was kinda loud on Saturday morning, but we would stay here again and plan to. All the staff, whether they work at night or in the morning, were cleaning or working the desk, were fantastic, and very helpful.

Hotel looks great from the outside. The interior and rooms are outdated but in good shape if you are just looking for a clean place to stay. However the noise from the patrons at the bar next door and cars passing by is so loud that it is impossible to get a good nights sleep

Hotel was good, the breakfast area was small and the choices were your standard offering. Needs more umbrellas in the pool area we got lucky and had one. Close to the save mart center which is the reason I chose this hotel.

Arrived at 2:40pm. Very nice gentleman was the only one at the front counter with line of over 8 people. Waited easily over 30 minutes to get checked in. There’s a desk behind the counter computer and there was a lady with platinum short hair that was just sitting there looking at all of us waiting… Not sure if she was the manager but she could have easily stepped in to help out of common courtesy. The check in office was hot and smelly and to top it off the elevator was not working. Not a pleasant way to welcome a customer. The ushers did offer us cold water and asked if they wanted to carry our luggage up. Don’t think I’ll come back to this location.

We got the accessible room which was fine but the shower valve was backwards, cold was hot, hot was cold. It was fine once we figured that out.

It was a wonderful hotel: clean, great amenities, etc.. it is located in old Town Clovis. Apparently there is a biker bar nearby. Every 20-30 minutes from 930pm to 2am, the roar and rumbles of a Harley would shake the windows, vibrate the bed, and the noise would wake me. So bring earplugs and possibly ask for a room in the back of the hotel.

This is located in best part of Clovis. Walking to all the cool places around old town. The property manager, James, is excellent. Always freindly, helpful and thankful. The bed is very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

The location of this hotel is key. Right in the middle of m old town Clovis. Walkout to a brick layered crossing and straight into downtown Clovis. Coffee shops, dinera and shopping. Just like a hallmark town.

This hotel is in a very good location-walkable to the old er part of town. Good restaurants and watering holes are very close. The windows in the hotel do not open, which is annoying to those who enjoy fresh air.

No soap in the bathroom. No towels we had to call for them. The drapes, carpet, upholstery and bedding are worn, dated and need to be updated.

I enjoyed both the bedding and the food. Shout to the breakfast, it was top tier and perfectly seasoned.

Best Western Clovis had a wonderful breastfast hot and ready at 5am, which was great since I needed to leave for work by 5:45. Also, I accidentally left my pillows at the hotel. The manager was wonderful, and assisted me to box them and get them shipped back to me. I had a wonderful stay, and would stay there again any time.

The facility is beautiful and in a wonderful location. It is quiet, and feels safe...even with a car show setting up at 5:50 AM one morning right outside our window. But check-in was not friendly. With a deadpan expression the desk clerk asked if we were checking in, handed over the key cards, and pointed to the elevator. There was no soap on the sink in the room, so we had to go down and ask for soap. No apology for the inconvenience. The person was either tired or bored. There were a few other oddities: The sheets and blankets did not come all the way up on the beds-didn't even cover our shoulders, no literature in room about surrounding attractions (QR code on card only showed restaurants in the area, and was hard to read on cell phone). Door wouldn't unlock at 8:30 AM on the morning of checkout, so we had to leave someone in the room to let us in as we made multiple trips up and down. Wet mopped floor and water on floor in elevator made for tricky stepping so as not to slip, and this was between 9:00 -10:00 when we were trying to load the car. We like the place, just some odd, inconvenient things.

Unfortunately two hours after we checked in, we had to leave due to an unexpected family emergency. The room and the service were great. We just didn't get a chance to enjoy our stay.

Our choice when visiting Clovis/Fresno

Our favorite place to stay in Clovis. Located in the heart of old town Clovis. Wonderful and friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Very comfortable! A little pricy for one night but ac worked great, super comfortable bed, amazing black out curtains. East parking and close to everything! Happy stay!

When we got here, I asked the front desk if there was any double beds available. He said no, that they were completely booked which is understandable. He gave us our room, we went inside and they’re was a do not disturb sign, we entered and there was coffee cups and towels everywhere. We went back down stairs and told the front desk that it look like the rooms still occupied. He then ask us to wait while he makes a phone call. We waited, he then said he has to go check the room and will be back. We continue to wait, he came and told us the lady already checked out but the housekeeper went home. He has to call someone again. More waiting… He then gave us the room across the hall. The room itself smelled like cigarettes and bathroom was dirty. I drove 5 hours and is very exhausted so I didn’t even bother calling the front desk. I don’t blame the guy since it looked like there continued to be issues with other guests.

The first thing that I thought about this motel was that it was in a unique position and that it was right in the middle of old town Clovis it was a lovely looking building however, when I walked in, I was quite surprised to see the tiniest little dining area I’ve ever seen. The room was fine however, the person that was supposed to service our room did not even though I put a sign out which left three people short of washcloth and hand towels. The kitchen in the dining had no decafe coffee, and the dispenser gave me chocolate! Over all the breakfast was skimpy and dismal. We went to Denny down the road to eat. Disappointed in this Best Western.

Arrived at 10pm and checked into the room. Ground window would not lock. Requested another room and front service said no other room was ready. Insisted on a solution so the front desk service person cleaned a room for us. She was helpful but there is deferred maintained that needs to be done.

Older hotel needs updating, clean, since no housekeeping service unless asked for did not experience this service. The breakfast was basic hotel food nothing stood out. Bed was comfortable but lumpy too soft. It was a necessary stay due to air conditioner went out so met my needs

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. It is in a great location with tons of charming cafes and restaurants and antique shops. I would definitely stay here again.

First room smelled like mildew when I turned on the AC. The second room they gave me hadn't been cleaned. The third room was fine until I saw a cockroach crawl into the coffee maker.

The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was stuffy and the AC didn't work well. There were no towels or water available in the gym. Actually, no water available anywhere.

Breakfast food was not equal to other Hotels in area. Eggs tasted like from a box, Gravy had a very strong and weird after taste. Food seemed like ready mix, add water etc.. We don't eat and nor do we recommend eating at Hotel.

The gentleman who checked me out was very attentive and helpful.

Both Clovis Cole and Desert Winds (in Mojave) have horrible breakfast buffets. (Old & very processed baked goods, sausage gravy goop, egg omlet with nothing to put in it - cheese?). The Pool area desperately needs evening LIGHTING.
