4th stay here. Our favorite for quiet comfort and electric car charging.
- 5/5
Vintage motel vibes with clean rooms and an incredibly helpful staff. Great gym & pool.
- 5/5
We like the overall. It has a good ambiance. Board games, breakfast and bar
- 3.5/5
Location to interstate and restaurants Would have liked a hot breakfast
- 4/5
It clearly aspires to be better than it is with some obvious corner-cutting. Details like the baseboards in the rooms, telephone wires on the floor, and the bathrooms just being kinda mid.
- 5/5
Breakfast is ok, no hot options, but plenty of sweets and cereal to suffice. The staff is always awesome here. The available Tesla Destination chargers are a big plus for us and our electric vehicle.
- 5/5
It was a friendly hotel that offered a great stop on our road trip. Would return next time we pass through Colorado Springs.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
As always at SCP the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were a tad sparse but the lobby is a nice communal area for sure. I think the property probably shines a bit more in the summer months but during the winter, the outdoors and parking lot were not as inviting.
- 4/5
Didn't have the chance to explore the amenities, but the staff was more than helpful. Comfortable bed, clean room, with some style.
- 5/5
This hotel was very nice and the front desk was so friendly I really loved my stay
- 5/5
Great local hotel
- 5/5
Breakfast was good, with non-hot options. Charging exists for electric vehicles as a bonus. The staff were over the top helpful and talkative. The games in the bar area are a great place to kill some time.
- 2/5
I was moved from a King to a double queen without explanation or warning and told that it was only a $10 loss. Never heard of that buisness model. I won't be staying again.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Great hotel. The staff is excellent, the rooms are clean and nice. Cool games in the lobby, and in a quiet area. Will definitely stay there again!
- 3.5/5
Good
- 5/5
Josh and Britta were fantastic. Second time staying here and we love it. Love the addition of a light breakfast in the morning.
- 5/5
The staff and environment made me safe and comfortable No complaints

Great hotel excellent gym for workouts close to everything you need in CO Springs
- 1/5
The hallway looks like you are going inside a horror building and pool was closed reasonable for winter but the pool are is quite opposite of what is in pictures. You will be impressed by lobby thats for sure but not the rooms and any other things. Especially staff in the might shift the dude has a crazy look in his face. Which says why the f u guys are coming to front desk. He dont wanna do things he is lazy as hell.
- 0.5/5
Entire experience was NOTHING like the other 2 SCP places, those exceeded all expectations
- 0.5/5
I don’t like anything for SO many reasons, actually we left the next morning. Place needs SO MUCH help Entire experience was NOTHING like the other 2 SCP places, those exceeded all expectations
- 5/5
Very nice experience. A Minimalist place that actually has everything you need, nice Gym ad yoga room. Will be back when we are at the positiion to go back.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at this eclectic hotel. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The lobby had tons of entertaining activities (pool table, lounging, board games, bar area). Beds were comfortable and clean.
- 0.5/5
The office/lounge area was nicer than the room Rooms were dirty, walls were disgusting, door from the outside was all cut up and chopped like if they cut the door for some odd reason

Kids took over pool from large sports team traveling
- 4/5
The staff is incredibly friendly. The coffee was excellent. The lobby is beautiful, the room was beautiful, the property felt very spa like, comfortable chairs to sit on outside. The room was pretty nice with some unique touches. The bed was really comfortable! The lock on the safe in the room didn't work, poor selection of snacks/food in their "market deli", we kept getting wake up calls we didn't request
- 5/5
I love the lobby area, the amenities, and how the rooms were decorated. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Good bar selection Excellent staff Rooms could use a little update Quality hotel for the price
- 1.5/5
The hotel was old. I was placed on the top floor. The concrete flooring seems like you would fall through it. It has no microwave in the room. Only yogurt and cereal for breakfast, no real breakfast
- 5/5
Every thing was great
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 2/5
Shower didn't drain, sheets had a different smell but not bad for the price
- 5/5
Nice gym and lobby area, light breakfast, convenience food available, friendly staff
- 5/5
Nice gym and lobby area, light breakfast, convenience food available, friendly staff
- 5/5
Great staff and atmosphere will definitely be going back on my next vacation
- 5/5
Loved the entire trip! Staff was amazing. Breakfast was great. Location perfect to everything! Can’t say enough great things about this place!
- 4/5
Room looked good, bed was comfortable. Breakfast needs a little bit more updating.
- 4/5
It was some renovation going in the hotel. Breakfast is very small choice, not healthy at all. Rooms are big , overall is fine
- 3/5
The lobby was extremely nice. Love the decor and warm feeling. The whole concept of this SCP Hotel is great. But the rooms were not well insulated so the first night the road noise kept us up. We left the heat fan on all night the second night and that helped a lot. Also having paper cups in the room would have been nice. The employees could not have been nicer.
- 1/5
they were not very accommodating. The late the lady at the front desk was pretty rude.
- 5/5
My friend and I found this hotel on accident and had a very nice stay. We enjoyed the pool table and overall vibes of the location. Overall, pretty quiet. Room was comfortable and spacious. Only bummer was the hot tub was being maintenanced. Highly recommend and they give back to their community.
- 5/5
Great place. Stayed one night. Easy hiway access. Would stay again
- 3/5
The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed linen is not the best - has that synthetic feel. Staff were very pleasant. Morning coffee wasn't very good.
- 4/5
The only thing I didn’t like was that you could hear your neighbors tv dog barking and voices. Other than that I liked it. Great lobby
- 3/5
The property was nice, it was good for a quick stay.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
The overall vibe of the place and the service were good. The rooms were a laughably bad motel six impression.
- 5/5
Great drink options
- 5/5
N/A to beer & liquor and a variety of juices. I don’t have a pet, but noticed pet friendly areas.
- 5/5
The staff was great, very friendly and always greeted with a smile
- 3/5
The room had no garbage container only recycling. There were no glasses in the room. I've stayed in other SCP hotels and this truly did not Compare with my other stays.
- 5/5
Great community space, kind staff, good location.
- 5/5
We loved it!! It is very hard to find an affordable nice hotel at Colorado Springs and you guys are awesome! We loved the place and the staff!!
- 4/5
Their concept as a hotel is unique as a whole. I believe they do not mop the floors in their rooms. It looks clean on first glance, and their are no obvious spills, but my feet was immediately dirty when I walked without my shoes on.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. The rooms were clean, bed was sooo comfy. Loved the bathroom. It was clean and roomy.
- 5/5
Great friendly staff that did an amazing job on all shift. They work well together and it reflects on the environment when you arrive and check out.
- 3/5
There was an odd gap between the window and the frame. Anyone walking by could see into the room, particularly the mirror placed in such a spot that you could see onto the bed! We jammed a towel into the frame and i reported it.
- 4/5
We liked the hotel (room was pretty barebones); however, didn't feel as safe as we could have. Difficult to get around the area. Breakfast was good (muffins) but minimal. Exercise gym was excellent.
- 4/5
AC didn't work very well and it wasn't till i checked out that I discovered that they have fans that can be lent out to occupants.
- 3/5
We stayed here a few years ago and it was a nice place. It seems really run down and not very clean now. Our room smelled like smoke. Staff did not seem to care when I mentioned that at check out.
- 4/5
Loved the pool table and complimentary drink upon check-in, and all the plants and games.
- 5/5
Environmentally conscious, super clean and fun decor. Staff was exceptionally hospitable.
- 1/5
This is by far the worst SCP hotel. The area in backside of the building is horrible. The stairs have chunks of concrete missing. Elevator does not work. It looks like an active construction site. Room 223’s door would not close properly. All other customers were in the rooms facing the front. I was the only one in back of the building. I ended up not staying and went to Holiday Inn a few miles away.
- 5/5
La muchacha que Trabaja en la resepcion, es muy amable y habla español… es grandioso
- 5/5
Pet area was very clean. All staff at front desk very friendly & helpful. Room was clean. A nice stay for us for 2 days. Also, lobby was nice
- 2/5
As basic as can be. WOODEN FLOORS!! Ugh no coffee maker, no microwave, no closet, and poor lighting inside. The bathrooms were good though. The offices and accessory rooms there were great. Loved that.
- 5/5
SCP is a hidden gem in the Colorado Springs area! A
- 2/5
I requested a move to another room, but was told that they were booked, and a new room would not be available until the end of the weekend. After the weekend I was never moved. I asked again and got the brush off. So I stayed in the unsecured room for the remainder of my vacation. They need to address the concerns of the customers better than they do.
- 4/5
If there ever was a place that screamed, " don't judged a book by its cover". This was that place the outside looked in need of renovation, but the inside rooms and the lobby were all great. I liked the uniqueness of the hotel. It had a rustic look, which I liked. The room was great; the staff were great. The breakfast had some limitations as I had to buy my orange juice when I thought breakfast was included in the price. I would stay there again. If given a grade, tehn I would give it an A-
- 5/5
Great staff and close to everything
- 5/5
This was the cutest re-designed motel ever. Apparently, the owners find old properties and redo everything. The vibe was very cool, and the lobby was awesome! The outdoor, heated pool is a plus, and the rooms have all been remodeled and updated.
- 5/5
We travelled 1300 miles to stay here for the Balloon festival. It was super close to get to the event. Balloons even flew over the motel. It was clean and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
The room was clean and well priced. Check in staff was excellent.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
The hotel itself was very nice, and the staff very friendly, however we had neighbors who were arguing and yelling at each other. Kids running around very early in the morning. The air conditioning unit was very loud, and scared us both awake a few times. If you are wanting a quiet place this is not the hotel for you.
- 3/5
I booking for two queen size bed then they say I booking one king size. On my app still show I booked two queen. But the people who work here pretty friendly. I just didn’t like the fact I got the king size and share room with my friend,my friend need sleep on the couch
- 5/5
We enjoyed our time here, it was quirky but well located for our meetings. The one thing that was missing was a business center/ place to print which would have been much more convenient than going to the Office Depot.
- 3/5
The area is Sketchy.. Crackheads and junkies all over.. Rooms are great, but exteriors is run down and beat up..
- 5/5
Check-in was wonderful. Breakfast is just muffins and assorted breads, cereal, milk and coffee.
- 5/5
Great customer service.
- 3/5
Room was clean and staff was friendly. For the price, it was a good value, but be aware that it’s an old motel in an Industrial area that has been refurbished.
- 5/5
Super cute property, lovely amenities, kind humans
- 5/5
The staff was amazing always willing to accommodate and be helpful. The communal areas were warm and welcoming. The pool was larger than expected which was nice lots of seating around it and a fire pit. The gym had everything you could possibly think of and a yoga studio. I will definitely stay here again but also try different locations in California and around the world.
- 3/5
AC was not good no smoking on the property but it is pet friendly it was good enough for 1 nights sleep
- 3/5
The photos make it look a lot nicer than what it is
- 4/5
The best things about the hotel was games and a big pool. The pool was outside and not very warm. They were very friendly. They are very much into recycling that they did not have a regular trash can in the room. You can buy food but the breakfast was not very much. The sidewalk was not the best. They also forgot to give me a washcloth. The plants were nice. The gym was nice too.
- 4/5
The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast is only muffins and fruit so be prepared for that. Also, they are very serious about people not smoking anywhere on the property and there were several signs that said it would be a $200 fine if caught.
- 4/5
Not bad but not great. The photos make it look nicer than what it is. Pool was nice, lobby and gym were nice. The room we had faced a dumpster and we decided not to park in the back because it didn’t seem secure. The room was clean but the windows made it look dirty. The bathroom door was a barn door so it doesn’t completely shut for privacy. Bed was comply. I hope they change their mind on when to put on coffee, people passing through tend to start their day before 6:30 am, the coffee could have been brewing while the staff was snuggling on the couch.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
This place has potential, howeverPictures were deceiving…
- 4/5
Lounge area was fun. The bedding needed another look from housekeeping, the duvet on one of the beds looked unwashed. Location was not an area of town to be walking around but they kept the property secure. Overall I appreciate updating something old and giving it new life. I like a cool funky atmosphere. If you are like-minded you will enjoy it but if you're looking for fancy and high maintenance, probably not a stay you would like.
- 4/5
The was a great place to stay with kids. We swam a bunch in their pool
- 3/5
The pictures are a bit deceiving. The lobby area was nice, the employees at check-in were friendly and fun to talk to while we enjoyed our complimentary beer. But it was very clear that the hotel was once a very worn down motel that they were trying to remodel but still seemed worn down in many areas. The beds were comfortable and we liked the overall vibe of the rooms. We wish we would have had a mountain view outside of our room but it is a nice view of them from the front of the hotel. Our kids did enjoy the outdoor pool. The continental breakfast did not have many options and we really wish they had an ice machine. Overall it was fine for our short stay but we would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Pretty good hotel almost like a hippie or eco friendly placed and recycle and all that good things pretty good and clean service you can say is so so but overall it was great we enjoy our stay here
- 5/5
The beds were surprisingly comfortable for a hotel room. Most places tout a comfortable bed and SCP delivers. The rooms are basic but clean and the space felt inviting. The view of the mountains made it worth it all. Overall vibe is fantastic.
- 4/5
SCP is a unique property that provides good accommodations at a fair price. They promote wellness and health and part of the price for the hotel goes to planting trees, helping youth and sustainability. Don't expect high end rooms at this hotel. I believe it was another chain (like a Days Inn) that they have been rehabilitating. If one wants housekeeping they have to ask. Ice is provided at the front desk. The staff is AWESOME, friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Interesting place. Should be listed as a motel so you are aware that your room will open directly to the outside. Rooms are nice, clean and beds are comfortable. Floors are all hard surface but there is nowhere to dry your shoes off at the door. It’s also very pet friendly which is probably great if you have pets with you, but barking and whining dogs every time you make any noise in your own room gets old fast.
- 2/5
When I arrived, the front desk staff informed me water would be shut off at 9:30am the next morning. I had not been informed of this prior to booking or arriving and would not have booked here had I known that. In the morning, I received a text from the property that the water shutoff would actually be at 9am. Room itself was alright, a bit dirty with yellowing comforters that clearly hadn’t been washed in a long time. The bathroom door also doesn’t truly close/shut so I am very glad I was staying here alone.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and was very clean
- 4/5
The room didn't have any wash cloths in room and shower soap dispenser didn't have soap in it.
- 5/5
Great place to stay staff super friendly and helpful. Had lovely stay on our why through Colorado
- 5/5
The room is clean. The staff was very friendly. We got here a little early and they left us check in.
- 4/5
The decor is a mix of urban and country which I found a bit odd. Overall, the room is very clean but some nooks and crannies could use some attention. The outdoor hallways are in need of refinishing. The lobby and breakfast areas are very nice but someone was smoking which ruined the experience. Front desk staff was awesome! Super friendly and helpful!
- 3/5
Great size rooms, but very dated. Windows that had the 'mountain view' I paid extra for were in fact facing the corridors so I would have a jump scare every time someone passed the room. Def not what I expected.
- 1/5
No air conditioning. Was out and 90 degrees.
- 5/5
This is one of a kind place to stay!! Perfect!! The two staff members were by far the best of the best!!!
- 2/5
We never stayed. We found another hotel. It was bad.
- 4/5
I love the concept of the SCP hotel! Very well done.
- 5/5
The staff is super nice and helpful greet u with a smile and very knowledgeable
- 5/5
The staff very friendly
- 3/5
Not what I expected from what was advertised
- 1/5
Had to carry our bags down 2 flights of stairs, missing light bulbs, room was musty, scary part of town, tv was down, overall not a place I would ever stay again. The rooms were small a they tried to update but just missed the par.
- 4/5
This is an old motel renovated. The lobby was very nice and inviting and the rooms were comfortable.
- 4/5
They provide a complimentary welcome drink and have a rock painting station that makes for a fun paint and sip activity. It appears to be an old motel remodeled into a hostel type environment. The two downsides were adjoining room doors with thin walls and a gap in the blinds that allowed people walking by to see into the room while we were in bed (we covered it with a strip of toilet paper). Overall, it was a good stay.
- 2/5
Dog friendly was the selling point. Not any grass to walk your dog. Sent text messages to me kindly stating, just text for room refresh, or anything at all. Second day, I asked for room reresh early morning. We came back to the room, 6 hrs later, no refresh. Texted the Motel, asked what happened, no refresh? Answer was sorry short staffed, you're 1st in line tomorrow. Why offer? Plus you can't smoke on property. Not even puff a legal tobacco vape on property. Security came and said go across the street or get a fine. Im handicapped and had to walk my dogs across the street, to pee, and smoke. Plus it has vagrant's,living in woods beside it and hwy, where you could get grass for dogs. Rooms were clean.
- 3/5
** it will not allow me to upload the photos of the blood and hair or the tub not draining***
- 3/5
Our stay was fine except it was very hot in our room and they did not allow us to use air conditioning, they did supply fans.
- 4/5
The snack choices were interesting, could be better.
- 3/5
There was only one person working the front desk and bar area. We were greeted but then told it would be a few minutes while she finished making drinks. After a long trip, having to stand and wait for 15 minutes to get our keys wasn't ideal.
- 3/5
The property has a hotel section, a motel section and a hostel section. Expedia offers rooms under SCP Hotel, but some of these rooms are motel rooms entered from the outside. Not being aware of this made my stay a bit disappointing. I was sure I was booking a hotel room as advertised by Expedia , but it was a motel room. I would not have booked this property if Expedia was clear.
- 4/5
Interesting and hip hotel. Very nice staff, only thing I didn’t care for was how cold my room was and how loud it was where my room was facing. It would have been better to have a room facing the front parking lot over the back. It wasn’t busy the one I night stayed there because there wasn’t many cars so I don’t know why I had a room that was on that side. But overall it was fine for one night. I’d stay again if I had to and the price was reasonable.
- 5/5
We stayed in one of the room connected to the lobby, and our room opened into a hallway. There are also motel-style rooms that open to outside, and we were glad we got a hotel-style room. Although they were probably the same on the inside, the outside of the main building seemed much nicer. Anyway, the whole place was super clean and there's a giant lounge to hang out in. We had our dog and were able to bring her to the lobby to hang out while we had drinks and played pool and stuff. The staff was super friendly and helpful. You do have to request to have your room cleaned during your stay and there housekeeping staff was off the one day I requested it, but other than that everything was perfect!
- 5/5
The walls are a little thin and can hear a lot of things but that is the only thing! Staff is friendly and property is adorable
- 2/5
We had to wait until 8pm the day of check in to get into our room. We barely had any hot water our entire. The Air Conditioning barely worked.
- 2/5
When I arrived at 4.10 pm room wasn’t ready , I was told discount will be applied but never received any refund, finally got into my room around 5.30, floor was very dirty , run out of toilet paper ,but they do have all these useless decorations but no tv, had no idea where to throw trash , coffe stands had no milk or sugar..
- 1/5
The hotel smells like smoke and is in a bad part of town. The rooms are not comfortable and wasnt cleaned. The front desk staff (woman) was borderline rude. We had to leave and stay at another hotel. I would not recommend anyone stay here, which was unfortunate because i really wanted to like this hotel. I havent received a refund, but I could not stay there due to the smell and uncleanliness. And the front desk staff asked for verification of my partner's (a Navy veteran) service dog.
- 1/5
They did not seem to care. Never staying there again.
- 5/5
loved it. would come back again.
- 2/5
Picture of hotel was nice but upon arriving it looked way different. Staff was friendly, entering room of course made sure everything was good. Found a used tampon in the trash. Sliding door to the bathroom didn't close right. They came in right away and took care of it. Pillows were not comfy, bed was pretty comfortable.
- 3/5
Room was ok nothing special about it. Didnt have washcloths in bathroom.
- 4/5
They were working on their exterior signage. Placing plants in symmetrical pattern. Looked very nice when completed.
- 2/5
Fridge didn’t work and food spoiled. Staff replaced it. The tub didn’t hold water. The room is bare bones. The public areas are all upgraded. The outside is run down. Bed was hard.
- 5/5
Very nice staff I like what this place offers and it seems conscious about making the world a better place for all. The only problem I had was that our room was really hot and no windows that open. Very uncomfortable but I would stay here again and give it good ratings.
- 4/5
Seems like this area is having hard times.
- 5/5
Such a gem! Room was spacious and clean, the staff was so nice! Felt like family! The place is HUGE and we loved the lobby and all of the activities they had to offer. The view of the mountains from our room was absolutely stunning! We cannot wait to come back to Colorado Springs and stay here again!
- 5/5
Nothing special. The area is not very beautiful
- 4/5
It was overall a cool place. There is no signage and we were confused on where to check in. The room was pretty clean other than the windows. The outside looks a little rundown but once you walk inside it's nice enough. The bar provides a welcome drink which is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable! The free breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but at least there was some fruit. My only big complaint is the air conditioning did not work. The fan was going but the room never cooled.
- 5/5
Very clean and well maintained
- 5/5
Have better breakfast choices
- 4/5
You need a better breakfast. Need eggs, hash browns and orange juice. Only one type of cereal. Need more variety.
- 5/5
Awesome place with a fun lobby with games and bar. Room was spacious and clean with nice new renovations.
- 1/5
the picture is deceiving. The place is a run down motel. The pool is a swamp with algae floating. Everything in the hotel is old and shows severe signs of wear and tear. The power went out during our stay and the frond desk just lock up and left for the night because of power outage. DO NOT STAY AT SCP. Don't waste your money.
- 1/5
Power went out and we weren't comped or given a new room.
- 5/5
I love everything about this Hotel, the room was clean and cozy and the location was very convenient if you like to walk around and explore
- 5/5
Friendly staff.. clean rooms.. minimalist & holistic feel!
