The shower valve did not work properly. Water was mostly warm to hot. More hot than warm. Reported situation to front desk but it was not fixed.

But then the girls wanted to go and swim before we went out to dinner and they couldn’t because the pool was blocked off for swim lessons. They had been looking forward to swimming. Other than that everything with the hotel was great.

I had a pleasant stay at Spark Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything went well during my visit, and the overall experience was positive. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast, as it would benefit from a greater variety of options. Other than that, everything was great, and I would consider staying aguinaldo.

Dirty! Hair in bed and on furniture. Trash on the floor. Barking dog all night in the hallway. Security light from outside room window made it like daylight in the room.

Limited food options for breakfast. The bathroom is so tiny and tje room is small for 4 people with 4 luggage.

Breakfast was pretty decent considering the level of hotel this is. My only main complaint is that the room doors have the automatic doors that SLAM hard and loud. Too many guests don't have consideration of others at 5am or 11pm and just let the doors SLAM LOUDLY. It even shakes your room and windows and you can NOT help but wake up from it. It's not really the hotel's fault completely, but they COULD change the doors.

Considering that we stayed there for one night, we had a good experience. While the room was small, it was clean. The hotel overall was good. One thing we noticed was that there wasn’t many vegetarian options available at the breakfast. However, we still had an experience worthy of an 8/10.

This hotel is old with fresh paint and newer carpet. But things were old and not working well like the plumbing. Breakfast was okay, it was busy and they couldn’t keep up with stocking the food, emptying the trash, or washing the tables. I won’t be back.

The tub/shower had signs of mold and or mildew in corners. The was no fan switch, so I am guessing the cold-air return was the vent in the ceiling of the bathroom. It was very dirty. The wall behind the bathroom door was dented from the lock button on the door handle. It had been repaired before, but they didn't bother to put in a door stop to keep it from happening again .... The flooring in the hotel room was hard flooring - I'm guessing low-quality vinyl planks. I am guessing that's actually a cleaner option that carpeting, but the downside is that it doesn't have the sound dampening aspect of carpet and pad. Someone in the room above us was walking around with hard-heeled shoes. They weren't walking hard nor stomping, but we could hear every step they made. I'm glad we were there just one night.

The staff! We had chosen our rooms and got the digital keys, after checking in online. Once we got to property the key didn't work and went to the desk to find out we had been moved from 1st floor to 4rd floor without having been given any explanation. I will add that the staff blamed each other and come up with 2 different answers. The property does not answer emails sent to the property through the website and they were very rude. I did not get my points fir staying and they couldn't or wouldn't even try to help me. Just gave me a number to call. Staff very unprofessional.

We stayed here when our hot water heater broke because it was a good price. The pool was the best I have swam in a long time. It was heated so there was no taking slow steps in and waiting to acclimate to the temperature. I liked the pillows, there were different levels of firmness. The breakfast was well stocked. There was no tomato juice to purchase (a negative for me but probably not you but just in case). There is an Outback Steakhouse close. We stayed two nights and could have chosen another hotel, but did not need to.

Very noisy with dogs barking for hours and nothing seemed to be done about it. My keys stopped working my second day and staff was rude when I had to go back downstairs to have her make new keys. The floors were torn up and the hallways had a weird chemical smell. I've stayed here twice now but next time I'll find somewhere else.

Hallways dark and narrow and dirty. Lots of stains on carpets. Room was very small, and no towels were provided. Pool room was run down with a handful of mis-matching chairs in poor condition. No towels available at all for the kids when they got out of the pool. There was a room with incessant dog barking for hours that the police finally took care of. Loud teenagers playing games in the hallways until midnight. Front desk lady was super annoyed when I asked for towels, and when I asked her if she can help with the dog barking, she cut me off before I could finish my sentence and told me that she already knows, with rolled eyes. Not helpful or friendly. Breakfast was pretty sad too. My kids were actually asking to leave, because they were scared to sleep here. I wouldn’t stay here again, and was glad I only booked 1 night.

There is only one microwave which is in the lobby and none in the rooms and this is the last time I stayed in spark by Hilton in Colorado Springs

I have had great success with Booking.com in the past, but this hotel would not confirm the booking or the confirmation I received. My nurse was unable to use the hotel's accommodations on 3/19/26 due to the staff's lack of assistance. We had to rebook at a different hotel. Upon calling the hotel, they stated they were unable to offer any kind of refund. This was a disappointing experience.

There was nothing spectacular about this property. It was average. I know that the front desk staff stayed away from the front desk a lot. There was a sign in the bathroom that stated they cleaned the rooms everyday when we complained because they had not cleaned our room, they said every two days. The toilet was loose, and one of the waffle makers didn’t work properly. Otherwise there were no concerns.

We had an all around pleasant stay at the Spark CO Springs.

Beds were comfortable The lady that checked us in was rude. There was a needle in the parking lot, the outside and inside was not as clean as expected for a Hilton.

Colorado was wonderful. But iv stayed at the Spark by Hilton in other cities and they where much cleaner. The bathroom still had hair on the wall in the shower and had a pair of socks on the floor by the sick. The room seemed to be clean but we seen spots on the bed. We drove from New Orleans to Colorado we were so tired I just went to the store and purchased cleaning supplies to clean with and took the blanket off the bed. The sheets seemed clean. The second day they did come in and cleaned up and freshed up the room and it wasn't so bad. I will continue to stay at the spark by Hilton because it is affordable and convenient in most cities. I will not stay at the one in Colorado again. Staff was not nice and friendly. None of the ladies that cleaned the rooms spoke English. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but I was in a new city and state it would have helped if someone could have answered simple questions like, How to get to the front desk from my room, where can I get ice? They would look at you like your crazy. Because they did speak English.

Who was able to check in when we got into town everything went smooth thank you so much next to my travel this way to town. I would wanna stay at the same hotel. Thank you so much.

The breakfast included no hot food. there was nothing wrong with the provided cereal or bagels or boiled eggs. The room was clean and quiet. Conditioner was empty. I couldn't understand how to operate the A/C unit. No real concerns otherwise.

The temperature control system would either blow cold or hot air, seemingly at random. We had to set it to 83 degrees for it to stop blowing cold air, and then after a while it would blow cold air again. The bath towels were stained with makeup and the shower handle was broken so it took a lot of work to get it to turn on and off. The staff seemed reluctant to help before finally offering us a portable heater (which didn’t work) or a room change.

I booked 2 rooms for my family of 6. Each room had 2 queen beds. No coffee maker in any room. Had a bottle of conditioner on the wall in the shower but it was empty. It wasn’t the little bottles like you get at most hotels. But most hotels make sure they are full. Only 2 towels in each bathroom even though I booked 2 rooms for 6 people. The towels in the pool area are tiny. Almost hand towel size. Had to use 3 towels to dry off. Breakfast is very small. It’s like they stuffed it into a closet. It was the worst Hilton I’ve stayed in but not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at.

Everything was wonderful except the breakfast. We felt a little let down by what they had as opposed to what was advertised. They returned my deposit within hours so that is awesome. Overall, very satisfied.

The location was good. The staff was rude and the room was dirty when using a black light. They took out the money on the day of check-in even though I selected pay at the hotel. They also expected a $500 deposit to check into the room.

Things were either robbed or thrown away from our room and we immediately booked another hotel. Front desk acted like it was not a big deal at all. Will not stay here again. If I was not leaving the next day I would of filed a police report.

The gentleman that was to be checking us in wouldn't come to the front desk. We had to go back a hallway to yell to him to please come help us. Also, we called the front desk the first night because the smell of marijuana was awful. He came up to see about it and agreed it gave him a headache as he got off the elevator. There was a fog in our hallway. He told me he couldn't do anything about it because all of the doors had their do not disturb signs out. It was so bad we could feel it in our throats. Very bad experience! I told him we wanted our money back. Rooms were scarce as it was a holiday weekend so we stayed, but would like refunded through Hilton's satisfaction guaranteed policy.

Great room for the money! Clean, spacious, and nice, friendly staff. The location is wonderful with quick access to I-25, and the continental breakfast was a nice touch.

A 3 star hotel is a 3 star hotel. Gone are the days of hotels having quality beds or pillows. Bring your own pillows and be prepared for a box spring bed. The staff was relatively nice and efficient. Hotels.com will also avoid mentioning your security deposit needed upon arrival. The rooms aren't soundproof and you will hear the traffic from the highway and possible neighbors. The AC worked fine, the bagel breakfast buffet was also good. The parking lot was safe but there is no roaming security guard.

A wonderful find, I had a great stay for such a reasonable price. Most important to me were the cleanliness, very comfortable bed and pillows, and large TV. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Disappointingly there were no outlets or chargers at bedside, and the doors did not fit well in their frames so the rooms were not very soundproof. However I will definitely stay again.

No Coffee perker in room and from desk staff stated we don’t need coffee perker. Asked front desk staff kind rude and said if you want coffee come down and have coffee in kitchen not the room. And time was very first time of all the motel we stay that didn’t had coffee machine. Wow!

Mattress a little soft but still comfy. Was hoping for scrambled eggs or waffles at breakfast but not a big deal-plenty of cereal, hb eggs, bagels, yogurt, muffins. Room very clean. Nice front desk folks. All in all, very well worth the price. I was there for a con, just about 200 yds away-it’s annual and I anticipate staying here again.

The towel ring fell off the wall.

Ice machine and elevator and mini fridge were out of order. When I told staff about the fridge, he said “well it’s just a mini fridge.” The tv in the workout room was older so needed magic to work. The lady at the front desk said it was because it is “cold outside” which was an interesting excuse. I believe the boiled eggs on the buffet would bounce if dropped but there was that one source of protein. The pool was nice, the treadmill worked and bagel was good so they get 2 stars

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The pool was like a bath SO WARM and amazing I’d come back for the pool alone!! The room was clean and cute. There were views of the mountains from our room and eating breakfast in the lobby. The only complaint is there wasn’t any soap or conditioner in our shower and yes, I could’ve called the front desk to let them know so that’s why I’m still keeping it 5 stars! We do wish the breakfast had more hot options but there is plenty to eat in the area and a good bowl of cereal and coffee is perfect. Plus we loved our nightly hot chocolate. The coffee bar was stocked and yummy 24/7. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Disappointing overall. Renovated, ish. First room, a handful of issues. (Missing plug plate, 2 holes in wall with toilet paper shoved in them, moldy baseboard underneath sink.) Took photos. Front desk was very helpful and changed rooms. Customer service is great. Friendly and informative. The renovations were more like a bandaid. New furniture and bed spreads but still dirty otherwise. Carpet in hallway was heavily stained. This is budget hotel. Breakfast was lacking. Bagels, breads, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. No proteins or fresh anything. Lots of moldy caulk areas at tubs, holes in wall where door stop should be. Hot water heater was just above warm at best. Winter time and heater was sometimes warm air and sometimes cold air. Which was terribly uncomfy. Don’t let the pictures fool you like it did us. It’s more along the lines of super 8 or econo lodge vibes. Comfy linens and bed. Streaming capabilities worked well. Convenient location. Friendly service. Affordable rates.

My room was clean but the areas around the tub need attention. I liked that coffee was readily available and that breakfast had a couple of healthy options. Stagf was very friendly and accommodating.

The bed was comfortable, however more towles would be beneficial to have in the restroom when staying for more than two days. Whever its windy you can hear the wind from inside the room, and lastely the thermostat would not set to my liking. Other then that the price for the stay is not bad.

Our room dint have any heat. The left side was blowing hot air but stopped on our second day, we stayed 4 days. The guy at the front desk gave us a space heater. The elevator had one side broken, the breakfast was cereal or beagles or oatmeal, really simple and plain. Something keeps beeping in the hallway that we could hear as if we were standing next to it all hours of the day and night. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work and made beeping noises as well that we could hear. Walls are paper thin and we could hear everything everyone was doing or saying. Signs all over the place there is no smoking, 100% smoke free but there is a strong smell of weed smoke on the first floor by the lobby. I didn’t check out the pool or fitness center but I have a feeling they were probably average. I think it would be a good place if they would get some repairs done. Staff is friendly, room was clean, just need to get repairs done and not just throw up a sign and say one side of the elevator isn’t working or go to main lobby for ice. It’s like they just put up a sign and don’t bother to notify their home office to send someone out to fix these things.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and their friendliness truly made the experience special. We would definitely stay here again.

I liked the location of this hotel, but the room was dirty. The window curtains were dirty and I found black hairs in the bedsheets as well as a dirty bathroom. I was a little disappointed in this experience. It was doable for a one night stay but I would reconsider this hotel in the future.

The rooms were good, they have new laminate flooring, paint on the walls, and the bathroom had new tile. The beds need replaced, they were aged. The ice maker on the second floor was broken. The doors into the rooms, were painted, but were pretty thin. The breakfast was not a buffet breakfast as others reported. Cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, juice. No warm foods or waffles/pancake machine. Pretty slim pickins. The staff seemed pretty friendly but didn't have an answer for the cigarette smell.

There was a very noticeable gap between the entry door to our room and door frame which made us uncomfortable. There was a $75 non refundable fee for my service dog who is a member of our family. Unacceptable. The desk staff member was very polite.

The room was clean however, any previous repairs were blatantly obvious. Especially on the walls. I would suggest professional repair work for a cleaner feeling. In addition the shower had mold within the caulking. I would never expect that in any hotel I stay in as I don't have it in my home

Really loved this hotel, it’s clean and modern for a great price!! It has enough charging ports and space. Bed is comfortable and heater is fairly quiet. The area around is quiet. They even have a popcorn machine and free coffee/tea. The free breakfast was nice but was just bagels and cereal.

The parking area was full of trash, and the hallways were disgusting and filthy dirty. Carpet needs to be replaced, or thoroughly cleaned. Elevators were dirty and smelled very strongly of cigs and pot. Hallways were smelly as well.

The room was very clean and staff very nice. Only negative was some questionable guests. Room near me kept slamming doors all night. Also, the dog bowl in the lobby really needs to be cleaned...it has mold growing on it.

We had a great stay here! The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did a really good job when they came by every other day. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I especially appreciated the healthier breakfast options in the mornings — it made starting the day really easy. Parking was convenient too. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience!

Overall the hotel is just okay. It’s obviously a remodel of an older hotel but a lot of the older elements remain. Hallway carpets are dirty and the ceilings are low old ceiling tiles. While the walls have good sound insulation you can hear every sound in the hallways from the room. There was no microwave in the room. While the hotel is conveniently close to the highway you can hear traffic noise constantly.

The hotel isn’t bad. Just very thin walls and you can hear everyone around you and in the hallways. They are doing some touch ups so there is some messy areas too. Didn’t get the sleep I needed due to the noise.

A nice place to stay. However, there were a few things I wasn't thrilled with. There was no microwave but there was a place for it, no clock, very small fridge, no freezer. Unable to get the plug in the sink to work. I couldn't get the wi-fi to work so my husband took it to the front desk to get it to work.

Very nice space for the price. The walls are quite thing though and you can hear everything going on in the hallway. Other than that thought it was great for the price, staff was kind, room was clean and set up was lovely. WiFi didn’t work very well though that may have just been my devices though.

I work in hospitality so I’m well aware things won’t be perfect at times but this was probably one of the WORST hotel experiences I have ever had. First the girl at the front desk needs some serious customer service training. Then when we finally got up to our room the bed was poorly made the bathroom was covered in hair the sink had toothpaste in it and the room was totally dusty. I called down and they switched our room it seemed better but when we went to take a shower this morning it was covered in pink hair and one of the towels had what appeared to be poop on it. The lock to our room was broken. Additionally, starting at 545am doors started slamming repeatedly and people yelling up and down our hall. The building as a whole is poorly kept up with. Having popcorn was cool until I noticed they never cleaned it and left day old popcorn in it. I would never stay here again and would never recommend this to anyone else.

We found the rooms clean, the beds comfortable, the hotel quiet, the staff pleasant and accommodating, the breakfast is great with a good variety of choices, the gym was good, the 24 hour coffee service is awesome, overall a great experience.

Room sparse and cramped, no instruction for TV, internet way to conplicated and directions did not work, breakfast was good. Color scheme was indeed of assistance.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience. The property was very clean, and the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. However, the swimming pool area could use some upkeep. While we were there, a strange alarm kept going off in the pool area, which was a bit unsettling and made it less enjoyable to relax. Aside from that, the hotel itself was well-maintained and comfortable.

The toliet in our room was not connected correctly so it made a loud noise everytime you used it. Also the tub stopper was broken. I enjoyed having a Tv that I could log into my netflix with. We needed to do laundry but they only had one washer and dryer for 4 floors? Breakfast was ok...for the price I would expect some scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. Do families with toddlers not stay here? We didn't even have a high chair to feed our 19 mouth old breakfast. Also no white milk available to buy outside of breakfast hours. It was mostly clean...had to clean up popcorn off the floor so my toddler wouldn't eat it.

It was so nice after leaving a terrible hotel. I slept like a baby. So comfortable.

It’s a rather cramped feeling hotel and that’s coming from someone who is 5’ tall. Not much space to move around however they did make the best of the small space by making it very functional and bright. Clean sheets and pillows and floors some of the finer details were missed like putting a new roll of toilet paper on when the current one was almost out. And a few missed spots cleaning here and there, but nothing serious. Was a bit of noise but they do allow dogs up to 75 lbs which was great for us as we have an old English Bulldog. Overall not bad and for $48 bucks I am not going to pass that deal up for a needed nights rest.

Bathroom, small in the room. No place to open the bags. We were where they was a lot of pets. That’s why I was very noisy.

We rented this room through Expedia and then I decided that since they had two rooms that connected together that we would get the connecting rooms, it was two grandparents and six small grandchildren staying. I talked to one guy probably twice a week before our vacation and he was assuring me that the room would be there. Needless to say the rooms were not with each other. Very disappointing.

They Took My Whole Deposit Fee Which Was $100 Dollars For Makeup On A Couple Towels And Said That Was Damage To The Hotel Room I Never In My Life Heard That. House Keeping Never Came To My Room The Six Days I Was There So I Had A Pile Of Trash And A Pile Of Towels And They Was Being Unprofessional

The room was clean, but the room door sticks closing it. The breakfast was the standard waffles, bagels, cereal and muffins. It was in a convenient location.

Clean rooms, good free breakfast, staff was excellent. I asked for two blankets and they literally were delivered to my room in three minutes. The rooms are not anything fancy, but they are clean.

This hotel should be named Sparse. It is bare bones and a complete waste of money. The hallways were freezing and not one picture on the wall. The elevator was very dated and dingy. The room had no drawers. The night stand was basically two vertical boards w a horizontal board on top. The TV stand reminded me of a show cubby in a preschool. The bathroom had hair in it from someone else along w trash on the floor. The bathroom linen had a mouthwash stain from someone else. Housekeeping skipped us two out of three days there. Our fourth floor window was open and filthy...God forbid we had a child with us. Breakfast was a carb fest....no healthy options other than instant oatmeal. The only protein options was cold yogurt from a dispenser. We only stayed because everywhere else was booked or over $109/night

Quiet room, clean room comfortable bed

It was really convenient for the trips we had to make to the academy. You can tell it was an old hotel that was remodeled to Hilton standards. Yes I would stay again ... even knowing the fact it was no meat on breakfast buffet.

I paid for a three-star hotel, but the hotel is actually a one-star hotel. The small rooms made me feel claustrophobic, and the bathroom was very small.

It was unique because it was close to attractions and close to I25 which took us everywhere we needed to go.

It is insane for a company to wake up someone's kids at 10pm because the company made a mistake at check-in, I definitely expected more from Hilton.

The second you walk in you can tell it’s very dirty. Then you look at the carpet and it’s stained bad and the doors are paint stuck shut and the sheets have not been washed or changed so you see someone else’s long dark hairs on the white bed sheets. Ew.

Someone at the hotel stole my credit card information and start making false charges. We were in vacation and had to close our account down and we still have five more days of vacation.

My room was not ready at 3 pm check-in time and I had to wait 30 mins. Strange clicking noise coming from bathroom lights and sounded like tripping outlet all night long.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clen and stocked. Husband loved the popcorn. Didn't get to swim but pool looked very inviting. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was conveniently located to everything we wanted to visit. I was a little disappointed in a few ways. There were several dogs in the hotel and the barking down the hall was not appreciated. The mini fridge didn't hold much but whatever you put inside would freeze. There was no coffee maker in the room and it was inconvenient to have to go to the lobby every time for hot water to make tea. There was also no note pad or ink pen available. I needed to make some notes and had nothing available to write on. Breakfast was also a disappointment. As a person with diabetes, there was nothing I could eat. It was all carbs or sugar.

Managers watched everything we did , didn't give my deposit back and were rude people

Inexpensive no frills hotel. Our A/C didn’t work (minor inconvenience), the fridge froze everything (no temp knob to adjust), and the breakfast was just OK. Perfect for a 1-2 day stay especially if you’re mostly there to sleep. Great Mountain View, nice outside area for smokers, felt safe, and good location. Would stay again for the cost and convenience.
