It was Clean. The breakfast was very good. I liked the staff. Especially in the mornings. It was noisy because of the road nearby. And a few things that were expected to be provided by the hotel, such as slippers, weren't provided. But I told them and they said they will provided in near future. But it wasn't a big deal.

All was well. No issues, would recommend to others as a nice, clean, quite place.

A/C was not working-blowing warm air. Called front desk to look at it and had to wait 45 min for someone to come up, because they were answering several calls about A/C not working. We were told "that's as hard as it can blow" when that wasn't the issue. The issue was it was blowing warm air, making our room temp go up instead of down. Pool was ok, clean and maintained. However, it did close 45 min early because the staff wanted to, which made some guests in the lobby upset. Both elevators had HORRIBLY sticky floors. There is a nice layer of black grime/build up on the doors/walls/trim of almost the entire common area on the main level. TV cut out constantly, so we were unable to use it. Water pressure in shower was just enough to rinse shampoo out. Free cookies available at the desk, but I'd much rather have working A/C in the room

We checked in at 6:00 on Friday and the person at the desk was helpful and quick. Breakfast Saturday was great and the young man helping was extremely nice and helpful.

The location was quiet, but far from Columbia. The tiny pillows were annoying.

The property was located on a lake with a walking path all around the lake. The pool area had a large beautiful pavilion with outdoor kitchen. The staff was friendly. The suite overlooking the lake was perfect for us.

What a nice place to stay! Just 20 minutes to the U of SC campus. Staff was very friendly and accommodating during our few day stay. The room was very clean, updated, and a decent size. They offer a continental breakfast with coffee, yogurts, oatmeal with toppings and a few hot items that change daily. They also have a little fitness center and outdoor pool. This was our 2nd visit and if in town again we will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again!

GOLD!! Location is so cozy, it’s next to a lake with a nature trail, with cute little ducks, on top of that breakfast was bright and beautiful, that young man cooked some good cheesy eggs! Also I always sleep like a bby in those rooms!

The hotel was really nice ---- very clean, very friendly staff, good breakfast, and the hotel adjoins a lovely lake and walking trail. On the day we were there, the hotel was celebrating Mother Goose Day and was giving out food to feed the ducks and geese at the Lake. A really fun surprise. We will definitely stay there again!

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Everything worked well and breakfast was good. Check-in was quick and easy. The lake behind the hotel and the paved trail around the lake was a pleasant surprise and much enjoyed.

The walls in room 617 were very dusty and the towels had an odd smell. The "hot" breakfast was barely warm. Staff were present but not happy to be there. Just a mediocre stay-not impressed but basic needs were met.

This is the fifth or sixth time I've stayed in this hotel and it doesn't disappoint, however my particular room's (4158) showerhead was somewhat disappointing water pressure wise, and the coffee in the lobby is no longer as strong as I like it. that said, I'd still rather stay here than anywhere else in the Columbia area, thanks!

The breakfast experience was exceptional. Great selection, fresh food choices, healthy choices, prepared great and the attendant was beyond fantastic. The attendant servicing the kitchen area well stocked including coffee. He continually turned the food to keep its fresh appearance. Attendant was prompt with cleanup and greeted everyone politely. He is unbelievably great.

The room was very clean, the continental breakfast was great. We only stayed one night but the staff was very nice and welcoming.

I have booked a larger room with lake view with extra additional room with pullout sofa for my teenage son, and when I arrived at the hotel, they told me room had maintenance issues and was not available. They didn’t accommodate me in a similar room. They put us in much smaller room with no view. They also did not give us discount on much smaller room. It was so disappointing. Family of 3 end up staying in tiny room with no comfort whole weekend.

The pool area was really nice and it had a cozy outdoor sitting area that looked out on the lake. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a Hampton. Room was clean and rhe beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly. The fixtures were old and not taken care of. The tub didn’t want to drain. The ac had mold all over it. Coughed all night and woke up all stuffed up. I found mold in the coffee maker in the room. The mattress was thin and definitely not pillow top. It wasn’t a room where you felt comfy to stay in at all. There is a lot in the area to go to and the outside of the property was taken care of. I didn’t use the pool so I’m not sure how that was. Their breakfast bar was decent. The staff was the best part of the stay. It could be that I just happened to get a bad room.

This property is located in a very central area and is accessible by both front roads and major highway. The staff is always friendly and professional.

The property was well stocked and comfortable. The beds and linens were great. The kids loved the game room. However there was a huge issue with parking. We weren’t told until after we arrived that we only had 2 parking spot’s although the area was mostly empty. I received over 6 phone calls and texts from David Schick on August 2 including asking me to resubmit my license information which I already sent prior to arrival. I felt this was borderline harassment. So in conclusion, we loved the property but the due to the parking, I would not recommend this property even though it sleeps ten. Rose Tierney

I booked two beds but got one king bed pls pull out couch. Pull out was not at all comfortable. My friend was comfortable. I woke with a Bach ache after a restless night on the pull out. Rethink the pull out. It’s terrible.

Booked a month out to show up to them only having a king bed for my family. Reservation was for two queens. Was told they sold all queen bed rooms. Breakfast was hardly anything and very packed. Could not even get a waffle

Customer service was great throughout our short stay. Rooms were clean & comfortable w/ plenty of towels stocked. We were only there one night w/ a late check-in coming from Atlanta. The only slight hiccup, the later you come the parking spaces were very limited. I had to circle around a bit until someone left. Otherwise, definitely recommend.

We liked this stay so much that we cancelled our reservations for a hotel in Charlotte and re-booked this hotel for our return trip home. Pool is great, the breakfast was good and varied, and the staff was excellent. Room was clean and we are planning to come back next summer.

Awful, don’t recommend!!! Staff charged my card prior to my arrival, saying that is policy of every hotel, which is not true. I am a travel agent that is not true. So they charged multiple rooms to my card even though the rooms were in the name of other people. They lied and were extremely rude. The room was awful with a broken AC. I will be filing a report with their corporate office. I have stayed at several different Hampton Inns and this is the worst!!!

Other than the breakfast worker, no one was friendly although no one was rude, just mostly ignored us. The rooms were not deep down clean. It seemed as if the sheets and towels were clean and bathroom seemed ok but nothing else seemed clean including carpet, furniture surfaces, windows. We didn't have service during out stay by our choosing, so am going by what we came into, was not very clean. But overall was a fine place to stay.

Front desk could have been friendlier. On another note my Uber eats delivery person was excellent. Maybe the frontdesk guy could take lessons from him.

The property was great! Any worker we came into contact with was very kind. I love that they lock the doors at night. I was not the biggest fan of their breakfast choices, but am still thankful for a great stay.

It was a quick comfortable overnight. A little pricey comparatively what o paid on this road trip since college graduation was happening in the area but they were still great.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel. We had booked for a one night stay just to see a concert. I did not want to spend a lot of money I just needed a place to stay for the night, however I ended up loving this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was super clean & quiet. It was about 10 minutes from our concert venue, the area was surrounded by restaurants and things to do. It was dog friendly with dog treats waiting for our pup right at check in. I did not realize when we booked the hotel is situated right on Lake Harbison its beautiful area with nature and walking trails, a pool side with outside tables and chairs. It was so comfortable. The stay included free breakfast, with so many food options. I really enjoyed the stay! Highly recommend!

Fridge was making a loud ringing noise. Everything else was great.

Our check in was outstanding and they loved our puppy well, so welcoming. The property is beautiful, I wish that we weren’t just passing through. The only con is the bathroom smelled like pee probably from puppies being locked in there; otherwise was very clean and slept very well.

My fiancé decided to take a trip to Columbia for our 5 year anniversary! The hotel was amazing in such a great spot only a few minutes away from so many stores! The service was amazing getting checked in and out and the room was spotless. The ONLY issue we experienced was parking. It’s not that there isn’t enough parking spots because there are, but when RV’s, U-Hauls, and construction machines park across 8-10 parking spots at one time that leaves no parking left for everyone else we ended up having to park off to the side of the road for the night. But other than that it was a great stay

WiFi doesn’t work and I had to ask the front office for help. He was not available at time.

Upon arrival, I was informed there would be no water for a few hours. Not their fault, so okay,. Once the water came back on, there was an incessant drip in the shower covered in dark brown water. This, no shower for me. Was pretty disgusting and the drip continued all night long....
