Hotel overall seemed brand new. There was plenty of cleaning staff. Room was well stocked with towels and all the things to make you feel at home. Nice soap provided also. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Parking was free and easy. Kitchenette was well stocked also. Good restaurants nearby. The town seems like a friendly place. Cracker Barrel in walking distance. I would def stay again at this location.

When I booked my reservation, I asked if I could be on the top floor. I received a message back saying they could make that happen, but when we got there our room was on the 2nd floor. I didn't say anything because they were busy, but we did have noisy kids jumping up and down and moving furniture in the evenings til about 9pm (both nights). Also, for a 2 night stay, they only gave us 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, and 3 full size towels. Easy enough to get more from the front desk, but I shouldn't have had to.

The beds were decent Bathroom was filthy, room has a musty smell, counters were dusty, ice machine for fridge didn’t work, had to ask for more towels despite me booking for 4 people, customers above us were loud an even after we called front desk and went to front desk in person nothing changed and they wouldn’t move our room. At 11pm and 3 am there were knocks at our door with no one there. This room was booked after driving a day and needing to sleep for 6 hours to get back on the road first thing and was unable to do so.

Big, comfortable room with everything we needed. The only issue was the bathroom with the exhaust fan and light having dozens of dead bugs on them. They obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time which was gross.

Location was good but parking was a bother since it shares an entrance with Cracker Barrel Smell of cleaner was overwhelming when you walked in the door. They also said they could accommodate everything I asked for yet only fulfilled one request. I was on the bottom floor next to the laundry room and there were carts and stuff in the hallway at all times

It’s a newer property, so it was very clean and well maintained. Front desk was very pleasant and friendly.

The gal at the front desk who checked us in was so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming! She made sure we had a convenient room on the first floor near the exit for taking our dog outside, and got us utensils that we were missing in our room. The room was clean and the amenities were perfect for our overnight stay. The parking lot was well lit and there was a vast grassy area perfect for getting the dog outside to stretch her legs. There is a convenient restaurant right there across the parking lot, and a gas station across the street, so it was very convenient for traveling through.

EVERYTHING. PUBLIX is 6 miles away. Cracker Barrel is in front. They even have coupons because they DONT HAVE BREAKFAST. Big deal. We went and got groceries from the store and cooked in our room. I mean how cool is that? Make sure you turn the timer on to start the stove. There's a coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and full fridge and freezer. They offer free washer, dryer, gym, even a grill and charcoal, plus an outdoor place to eat. Crock pot, air fryer, and a bunch of other kitchen items for you to be able to cook your meals. Free of charge. Plus they have a freshly brewed cup of coffee and apples free when you come in. There's a whole food pantry that has items for sale. Even lunchables. Our room was clean. CLEAN. I got the handicap room. 2 strokes and struggle to take a bath. Can't get out easily. Whoever designed that bathroom either is or has someone who struggles as well. First time in 14 years, I got to take a bath and get out no problem. The staff was so friendly. Communication is awesome. Highly recommend. Especially for the price. Best place I've stayed yet. Couldn't stay longer.

The location right off the highway is excellent; it's also far enough off the main road to be quiet. Very good! And as usual, staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This was my second stay at this hotel but it won't be the last! My only comment is about the lighting. If you're on the opposite side of the bed (either facing the window or the bathroom wall) there are no lights that would be nice to have for reading.

The hotel is already dirty and run down since our first stay there in June as there were open ant bait boxes by the exit doors and cigarette butts everywhere. There was no maid service and we had to ask for towels and coffee daily. The lobby coffee was terrible. I will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Staff was amazing. The room was clean but the walls were very thin making it not very quiet. Good pet walking area complete with waste bags - too bad more people did not pick up after their pets.

While we did not need to use it , I was impressed that there was an equipped kitchen. Great for traveling families. Front desk people especially sweet, told us all about shopping which is mainly about a 10 minute drive from hotel. Overall very nice place to stay. Quiet, green all around and I think there were picnic tables provided as well.

Great overnight stay. Had to pay the pet deposit which was kind of pricey for the amount of time I was there, but it is what it is. Will stop here again if needed.

Front staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The only issue was a finicky stove stop. The touch buttons were not responsive most of the time I tried using it. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was access to a kettle.

Staff was welcoming and mostly friendly. Parking was convenient as was proximity to multiple gas stations nearby. Our room was clean and our stay was mostly quiet which we appreciated. Checkout was also hassle-free. Affordable compared to other properties nearby. Loved having a small,furnished kitchen. Came in handy. Downsides: the paper thin toilet paper which is abrasive on sensitive skin, the bed and pillows we found to be too soft and uncomfortable so we didn't get the best sleep, what I assume was trash pickup in the morning (could be mistaken) was also very loud and unexpected. Those things aside I would stay here again now that I know what to expect.

Very nice, spacious room.The kitchenette was a plus we didn't use but surely will in future visits. Staff was excellent...had to report faulty plumbing three times during our 4-day stay, but the issue was addressed very quickly every time. The bed was very comfortable; pillows, however, were way too soft, even the "firm."

We had a 1 night stopover over and the Candlewood Suites Columbia by IHG was the perfect fit. The evening desk clerk was very friendly and helpful with questions I had. We were also surprised by the kitchen in the room. It is perfectly equipped.

The room and the service the cleanliness all that was fine. My only complaint was that I had a nonrefundable room and when I got there, I found that I had to pay $75 for a pet fee that was more than half the price of the room to me that was outrageous and price gouging I was stuck. I had to take the room because it was nonrefundable so therefore I had to pay the $75 to say that your hotel is pet friendly is an extreme stretch.

The hotel was clean, bright and the room was spacious. It is my new hotel for when I'm in the Columbia area. Right off the Interstate and next door to a gas station and a cracker barrel. What else could anyone ask for?

Property was listed as “Pet Friendly” when I made the reservation. When I arrived, tired, was told that pet friendly meant you had to pay a non-refundable $75 dollar fee! Will not stay here again.

I loved this hotel! I was surprise how nice was the hotel and the room was big. I was definitely not expecting a full kitchen. It was nice to have, even thought I didn’t use it, it was nice to have the option.

This hotel was awesome!

At 10:30 pm we tried to go to our room the key wouldn’t work 4 times up and down in the elevator, finally they went to try to move us room but they were sold out. It was extremely frustrating all the way around. The staff didn’t really go above and beyond to fix the problems.

My biggest issue is that i was contacted 2 hours prior to check in, while traveling to the location, and informed that the room i requested was no longer available. I was not told why it was no longer available. I was offered a room i passed on when booking my stay. I had little choice but to accept the room that was offered.

Lovely staff and easy location. I’m traveling with my dog and there is plenty of places to walk him around outside.

Upon my arrival, I was treated very kindly and the staff was so hospitable. This morning, different staff, different tone. I wanted to extend my stay for one more night but was treated ever so rudely for even attempting. While I was trying to decide if I was going to extend my stay, I was simply confirming that my late checkout request was still being honored. Who I spoke with (the assistant manager) verbatim said “have you looked outside? The weather is too bad for housekeepers to show up and we’re understaffed” … kind of a rude way to speak to someone in the HOSPITALITY business. Then when I was trying to rebook the same associate (assistant manager) was extremely rude and made it very difficult so I decided to just check out. I know that my personal affairs shouldn’t matter while staying in a hotel, but the only reason I booked this stay was because I was just diagnosed with a terminal disease, had a friend purchase me a gift card, and I booked just for a little getaway and to have a tub because I’m in so much pain. I cannot believe I was treated like a nuisance. The assistant manager for this property shouldn’t be doing anything other than assisting herself a different career because hospitality is most certainly not her strong suit.

Room was great! It was clean and comfortable. Only small amounts of green space around for “pet areas.” To be noted, the pet fee listed on Expedia is wrong. It is really $75 just so other pet owners know!

Loved our room! Very clean and well maintained, loved the staff as well. Everyone we spoke to was very kind and smiley. The snack shop was wonderful! And the atmosphere in the lobby was fantastic. Anything you might have needed was sitting in our room so we didn't want for anything. Overall fantastic stay and we'll be returning again.

Front desk staff -wonderful and kind! I was on a road trip from Colorado to Charleston with a pet. Rooms are new, clean, and spacious. Very dog friendly. Free washer/dryer. Clean, new, and well laid out. Great find in that price range.

Missed a call from a Columbia TN phone number during lunch a few hours prior to check in!!! They didn’t leave a voicemail. I returned the call, staff said that they couldn’t accommodate my two queen bed room. A FEW HOURS prior to check in!!!! We were upgraded to a suite with a king size bed and sofa bed that was the most uncomfortable bed in the world.. disappointing that there was no confirmation sooner so that I could find another hotel with two queen beds.

Facilities and room were in pristine condition and enjoy staying here. Was very disappointed that advertised pet fee ($50) was not only wrong (actually $75), but I was charged another $14 in taxes/fees for the pet fee. Would not consider staying again with so many hidden fees.

Received a voice mail around 3:30 that the hotel was overbooked and there would not be a room available for me. I called the hotel back and they eventually gave me a room, not the one that I had reserved. The hotel blamed the overbooking issue on hotel.com. Not sure who was in the wrong on this one. Also the elevator was out of service one day.
