    It was clean, staff was friendly and the beds and pillows were more comfortable than the $400 a night condo we had in Florida The latch lock at the top of the door being missing and the bottom lock not locking because then anyone with keycard access could get in, but we fixed it by putting something in front of the door that could make noise!

    Only thing I liked it was easy to get to. It was completely disgusting. Not clean at all. I understand it’s an old hotel but when the floors have hair in the bathroom and you have to take a towel and mop your own floor and the towel is black afterwards. Then my first room you could tell someone had been living in it and pubic hair all over the toilet and dirty floors greasy hand prints on the walls. Then both beds had blood stains and other stains I don’t even want to know what they were. I had to check out early after being moved to a different room due the smell of weed and some other kind of odor. I would have found a different hotel but we were here for a travel softball tournament and I couldn’t find anything that would fit what I needed at such I short time. Also I’m pretty sure the employees live there and every time you seen some of the front staff they were in their pajamas.

    Bed are comfortable! Staff is great! The shower pressure is amazing! Breakfast is well balanced and kept full. Internet & TV is spotty depending on the room. They are having trouble with the pool but for the price, it was a wonderful stay. We will go back.

    They claim to have a pool, which the lady at the desk insisted that they very much do. However, the pool is as green as a swamp with thousands of bugs in it. The lady at the desk claimed it had been down for a few days. Weird for an indoor pool to go green in just a few days. This is gross false advertising at best. We refused to stay. It also did not smell great in the lobby.

    It’s a great place to stay if you just wanna sleep. Stayed overnight. The staff was very sweet and very professional. The room was OK. I had to go down and ask for soap. Also, the pool, which is one of the reasons why I booked this event was filthy and closed out of order with no notice. No one said anything about the pool being closed it should be on there post that it’s out of order rather than one of the amenities.. other than that it was a nice day stayed overnight no issues. Fire alarm went off in the morning due to burnt pop tart in the toaster .

    bathroom floors where very dirty, the coffee maker pods did not fit in the machine, breakfast was ok, but needs gravy for the biscuits. shower was by far the best thing about the visit, so hot and powerful! some cleaning and a bit better of a breakfast and this would have been the best place i have stayed in a while.

    The room should not have been available to rent. The bathroom had not been cleaned (dirty towels on the floor). The toilet did not flush properly. The heating and AC knobs fell off. Would also just spin completely around. The first floor hallway smelled of marijuana .

    The lady that checked us in had an attitude. Not welcoming at all. The room felt like a prison cell. The only reason it gets a 2 star instead of 1 is because the shower pressure was good. Breakfast was to be served at 6am. It was not ready so we had to go so as not to be late for work.

    I was killing 4-5 what looked like flying cochroaches per day. I went to use the ice bucket and there was garbage in it. And the room looked like it was quickly cleaned, missing dirt in the corners, etc. Also, when making reservations, there was no mention of not having an elevator. I will not be staying here again.

    It was a good location for us for what we needed. The floors were dirty, the AC sounded horrible & it was hard to sleep with the noise, the towels looked dirty, the faucet handle on the bathroom sink was broken, the attendant at the front desk looked like she was in her pajamas when we checked out, the hair dryer kept turning itself off because it got too hot.

    3 inch carpenter nail left on the floor, bathroom door did not close, water drained into the room from the poor draining system in the shower. Bathroom door had water damage and was broken up. Room was not clean upon arrival. WiFi did not work. No wash cloths or hand towels. Dirty towels were taken from the room and were never given clean ones therefore leaving us with no towels. Staff was not very friendly.

    Booked the room for family. They were unable to stay in the room due to the condition. Towels were dirty, sheets were dirty, lady bugs everywhere. When they asked for new towels more dirty towels were given to them as a replacement. Pictures were taken of everything. They went to tell the front desk and ask for a refund after checking in getting the dirty replacement towels and were told only a manager can refund for the room and that they would call when they come in. Never received a call. Numerous phone calls made to the property have gone unanswered. Corporate unable to assist.

    We didn't stay the night! The parking lot was dirty, there was a bedside commode in the parking lot. The room was clean, but when we turned the heat on, it smelled like cigarette smoke. I have asthma and can't tolerate it. We left and found another hotel.

    The hotel was run down quite a bit. Overhead lighting was out in several areas. Staff wasn’t very personable on check in. Check out lady was very nice. Towels were stained. Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Floors were dirty in the room. The mattress was old and uncomfortable! No elevator to carry luggage up to the room (which was a lot since we were there for 3 days) Not a pleasant stay and got no rest. The only thing that was nice was the water pressure in the dirty shower.

    Stained bed sheets with blood, hair food. We had to make our own bed on the pullout. Only 2 towels for a room booked for 4. Said they didn’t have extra pillows for the pullout so took from another room. Pool was green. Owner had their dog there when no pets are allowed. TV remote didn’t work and their suggestion was to move our room (while our kids were already asleep) or wait till the next day to reprogram the remote. The manager on seemed genuinely upset with the pictures I took of the sheets and said we would get a full refund as we had to pack up our sleeping kids at midnight after a long day visiting family. But we still haven’t gotten the refund. Also 5 of their security camera were out and visible at the front desk so people knew where they could do wrong.

    Stayed here due to close proximity to interstate, but it was the only thing great about the stay. When we got there, the first room still had dirty towels on the floor. Requested a new one. The staff was great about getting a new room quickly. The new room was even worse off. The tub wouldn’t drain. The ceiling was leaking from the floor above and had black mold forming. The linens smelled clean, but were stained in places.

    A audit so it would take a hour I said ok left my card and left then a hour later I notice my card charged several times for the room again I called she started yelling you need to resolve this now I kept asking what email or phone number I could send proof too she would hang up to the point of 2 hours later and twenty charges to my card and her repeated refusal to hear I had paid in full with proof I had to call the cops when she threatened to call and have me arrested for theft of services finally a officer called me I was able to show in fact it was paid on arrival even when she called to apologize I said maam all you had to do was give somewhere to send proof or answer the phone for Expedia she again started screaming they never called me your lying I hung up if not for the awesome police force in Columbia I would have went to jail for something I paid for

    Room was nice and clean. Bathroom was great and looked updated. Make sure you use the locks on the doors. Had went for breakfast the morning we left and came back and didn’t bother locking the door. At 9:30am the door opens…. It was house keeping and they didn’t bother to knock. If it’s after check out time, I get it. But before check out time, house keeping should knock and not just walk in.

    We had a great stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and nice. The room was dated, bright and you could hear a lot of surrounding sounds. But overall we had a nice stay.

    We booked two queen beds. Got a king bed with a sofa bed. Pulled out the sofa bed and the mattress was completely wet. 2nd room the sofa bed had a dirty sock & sex toys stuck in it. Would not recommend this place at all.

    The property location was excellent. However, looks like they tried to renovate but who ever did the job for them rushed and a lot was broken in the rooms. Example…. First room very old A/C unit mold dirty floors bathroom door was way too small and shower rod was hanging on by 2 screws. 2nd rm much better and clean. However bathroom door entirely way too big wouldn’t close. No cord on phone to call them. Other than that. Staff was very accommodating and very helpful!!!

    Very nice staff. Room was clean, good bed. There was no type of grab bar or anything to hold when entering and exiting tub/shower. My husband isn’t handicapped but has limited use of left side resulting from a stroke, plus he is 81 years old. He had difficulty getting out of tub and had nothing to hold on to. The thin shower curtain allowed water to splash out onto floor, making it easy for him to fall. Please attend to this matter!

    Manager is very mean she was yelling upon check in, their hot water heater went out so no hot water for 3days so we had to check out 2 days early. I left personal property and they refused to return items they stated no one stole anything I almost called the police. Breakfast time I almost ate molded bread. The WiFi signal is very very poor please don’t stay here. My children kept telling me the housekeepers would give them mean looks.

    My stay was very affordable and the staff were kind and helpful. The water heater was upgraded during my stay. There are no sidewalks anywhere near the hotel, so note that you'll need a car to get around. The windows also cannot be opened (at least in the room that I stayed in), so turn on the fan in the rooms if you want some additional ventilation. The rooms are not soundproof at all, but I didn't have any issues as most of the guests staying there were quiet. I expected a rough stay given the price and some previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my time there, with no major issues.

    The first room I was put in number 235. The ceiling was caving in and what it was pouring in. Move me to a second room or the TV was functional. The next morning I went to take a shower. There’s no hot water for two days.

    I called the front desk to let them know we were trapped, they came and attempted to unlock it, we were in there a total of maybe 20 minutes b4 they used a screw driver to get us out. The worst part was is one of the employees blamed us for the whole incident. Said we shouldn’t have locked the door! I was livid. We were locked in the entire night, if there had been a fire it could’ve been bad. I let her know this was there fault. Otherwise our stay was really good.

    When we entered the room, the disappointment only grew. The place was filthy, the bathroom barely cleaned and smelled bad, and the carpet between the rooms emitted an unbearable odor. The pool was broken, the gym was unusable, and absolutely nothing worked as it should. To top it off, the people at the hotel barely looked at us, and the service, when it existed, was still terrible. Our luck was that we didn’t run into that receptionist again, because we wouldn’t have been able to tolerate such a lack of manners. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. I definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you value even a minimum of comfort and respect, look for another place. And I sincerely hope the hotel management takes action and fires this employee, who doesn't know how to treat customers and seems to live in a parallel world where manners don’t exist.

    During our 5 night stay, we had to change rooms twice because of broken heater in two of the rooms. The staff did everything they could to accommodate us and I really appreciate their effort. The hotel really needs to update their heating systems.

    I have never had this kind of experience in my life. I have traveled all over the country and this was the nightmare. We were out of town for my mother in laws funeral. The trip was sad and this made it a nightmare. If you are looking for a place to stay, this is not it. Do not think to take kids to this place, unacceptable NO STARS!

    The sheets clearly weren’t changed. One of the lights was blinking so they moved us to another room. Those sheets were stained so I asked for new sheets and changed the bed myself. The desk person knew the light was blinking because she said to the other person working that oh they still haven’t fixed that yet. Why would you rent a room when you know it’s not in working order. Flashing lights can trigger seizures in some people. Otherwise, the rest of the room was decent.

    From the moment we walked in the staff was really friendly and nice! It’s a quiet hotel and you hardly know anyone is there! Really enjoyed my stay and if we are in the area again will stay here. The only downfall of the hotel is no elevator. But other than that great place! :)

    Bed was not comfortable, we were given 1 washcloth and 1 towel for 3 night stay. Hotel was musty and breakfast area dirty. They were out of creamer for coffee before 8am and breakfast was minimal. Note only plus to our stay was Tim the desk clerk. He was wonderful. Kitchen employee was rude.

    When we went to our room, it was still being cleaned even though the front desk said it was ready. The hallway smelled like wees, a gentleman was sitting in the pool area smoking weed. Water stains on ceiling. Stains on the comforter. Sprinkler head was full of dust, no smoke detector.

    I really wish I could give this a higher rating because the staff were so nice. In all honesty though, the stairwell was covered in spilled alcohol that made your shoes sticky; the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke; the AC unit was unplugged and we didn't know why it wasn't working for half the day until we figured that out; and another guest had their door propped open at 4 am and was singing very loudly. I really questioned the cleanliness of the room when I saw how other areas were taken care of. I probably wouldn't stay here again. The price and photos made me believe it would be a little nicer than it was.

    It was close to the interstate and restaurants but that’s the only good thing about it. The ac in the room was Luke warm at best and the bathroom shower was poorly remodeled and toilet was not functioning properly. Would not recommend staying there again. I usually stay at quality inns and this was the worst experience ever.

    Paint needed, check in process, slow, air conditioner, and first room didn’t work, then put in another room, it was humid most of the night, even with the air on, the hotel felt wet and sticky. Felt like it was clean, With host it was generally not a good experience. Feels like a poorly run and cheap feeling hotel. We will not be returning to this hotel.

    The property was missing furniture such as the pull-out sofa bed that was advertised for the room I booked, the chair for the desk, and light fixtures. There was what appeared to be blood splatter on the walls. When brought to the attention of the front desk, they did not offer to change rooms, they allowed me to check out but still charged me an early checkout fee.

    We arrived at 3 to check in. The clerk was nice enough but ready to go home. The first room had not been cleaned,the 2 and room the bathroom door did not close and the 3rd room the bathroom door would not open. We cancelled our reservation. The clerk kept telling us they just remodeled. I didn't see it.

Be aware I found a bug in the room and showed the owner and he acted as if it was normal. The didn’t have capable staff and the ran out of breakfast after one hour. This place is horrible zero out of ten.

    The sheets were filthy and the bed cover. The inside hotel was nasty. People were standing in the halls because their rooms were nasty. The manager at first refused to give me back my money. Said he would only give me one day back. I hadn’t taken anything into to room. I went in to inspect the room first. I got very upset and he ended up refunding us all our money. The Lady at the front desk was extremely nice. Also we had booked a King bed and was given two nasty queens beds. Said it was not their fault that I didn’t get a Queen room that it was because of booking by a third party. DO NOT go to the place.

    It was a convenient location for my meetings and a good price. However, light bulbs were missing; bathroom tissue holder was old and broken; and air-condition cover fell off. EXTREMELY noisy! Very thin walls! Loud noise from ajoining rooms and hallways! Very difficult to sleep at night.

    When we first checked in, the first impression was dirty floors in the lobby. The person checking us in was fine. Our first room had a bathroom door that would not shut. It was like the door was too big for the frame. The second room, the bathroom door was too small for the frame, it kept flying open and we had to keep it shut with a bathtub mat. The towels were stained and the replacement towels also were stained. The air conditioner leaked puddles on the floor. The carpet in the halls were DISGUSTINGLY filthy. Stains all over. There were flickering light bulbs in the halls.

    Experience started okay with an uneventful check in but went downhill fast from there. You will walk down the flickering light hallway to the stairs since this hotel does not have an elevator and look through the door at the greenish looking pool. After getting to the second floor you are smacked in the face with a hot humid 2nd floor followed by opening the door to find a standard double bed room when I booked and paid for a King suite. Went back to the check in counter only to be told they have no king rooms available and that it’s hotel.com fault because they were given the reservation different from my confirmation. They would not refund me so I could go get another hotel that could accommodate us wanting a king room. So went back to our room that was 82 degrees and lowered the temp and left for a few hours so the room could cool down. Things continued to go downhill with every towel but 1 having stains on it and the bed being terrible. After reading they have pulled the bait and switch with booking king rooms then giving double bed rooms I feel like they are doing this on purpose to make extra money off people. It’s fine to only have double bed rooms but don’t allow people to book these king suites when you clearly don’t actually have them available.
