The room was disgusting. Lights did not work, floor was sticky, towels were discolored, no soap or shampoo provided, the chair was cracked and the mattresses were terrible. I will never stay here again!

Rooms were filthy. The rooms were poorly maintained. The floors were dirty. Clean towels were white with stains. Rooms smelled stale and dirty.

I didn't like the bathroom floor. They need to put something down other than the vinal cuz when you shower no matter what water gets on the floor and makes it like a water slide, slippery as hell. My wife fell when she put one foot on the floor trying to get out of the shower. She wound up with a little bump on her head, her elbow was bleeding a little and probably will have a bruise on her butt and pride but other than that she is ok. A few hours later I went to use the bathroom and I almost went down cuz the floor was still damp, but fortunately I caught myself. So put one of the towels down on the floor and use it as a rug. I would do it even if you don't use the shower cuz any kind of dampness gets on the floor and it's slippery as hell.

The beds were super comfortable. The front staff was absolutely amazing. They were all so sweet. I met 1 gentleman when we first got there, hes also the one we checked out with. He was soooo sweet. The second night, I used the vending machine and my skittles got stuck. And the second guy that was running the front was so kind, he made a skittles purchase just so it would push mine off. So nice. Housekeeping was very kind as well. I hope she got the moon pie I left her There *could* be a bigger breakfast but thats on the owners, not the incredible staff.

Great place to stop for 1 night with a dog. Comfortable bed and easy to walk our dog. A little noisy and the breakfast was slim pickings and by 8:55 there wasn't any food or even a drip of coffee left.

Conveniently located Room was not clean, burn holes in bedding, dirty bedding, dirty shower with leftover soap still in there, futon was disgustingly, didn’t have bedding for futon in room and when I asked for it I only received 1 blanket and they didn’t have any pillows I was told. Breakfast only had yogurt, frozen breakfast sandwiches or waffles. If I could rate in the negatives I would. Staff was very rude.

Breakfast was a small fridge with yogurt and microwave macmuffin wannabes and waffle maker, room was just ok but desperately needs refreshing and a/c unit sounds like it's on life support.

The room was filthy and smelled of marijuana and cigarettes really bad. Floors were dirty and food was left in the fridge. Towels in the bathroom weren’t also dirty and dingy.

Breakfast was small but good. Our room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We found a toy in the bathtub, a price tag on the bathroom floor, and I don’t think our bed sheet got changed from the last person. It looked dirty and there were cigarette burn holes in the bedding.

Me and my girlfriend booked the spa room for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed the giant jet tub!! The bed isnt the most comfy, but it definitely was serviceable.

There was nothing clean or hospitable about this hotel. We were forced to stay in a room with a tub that didnt drain properly leaving us standing in nasty water to shower. Even after reporting this,hotel management simply walked in, plunged it a few times by hand, and watched the water then go down, and said "There, its working" as he walked away. There was no available breakfast, the advertised pool was closed, and the towels were regularly disgustingly full of hairs. I felt cheated, disgusted and slept on top of the covers for 4 nights. The cleaning lady that stopped by never had all the supplies required to complete a sjngle room, but she was friendly and courteous.

There was a big crack in the bathtub and an electrical outlet had no cover. Also...it's just us ...but we expected more than a breakfast sandwich to unwrap and microwave, waffles, and yogurt fir breakfast....there was coffee and orange drink..no milk.

There was barely anything available for breakfast. My room needed some maintenance. There were walls crumbling and trim missing and the bathtub painted and chipping so that I didn’t even want to take a bath.

Complete lack of regard for safety - ice all over stairs and at entrance that had not even been attempted cleared. Front desk “worker” at check in was obviously underage female who couldn’t speak English. Run reeked of weed. Bathtub drain wouldn’t drain properly. Blanket on bud stained with heaven knows what. Had to stay here during a weather emergency…..better off sleeping in the car instead of this dump.

The room was clean and nicely furnished. We appreciated that the heater was very quiet. The bathtub and surround were in poor shape and the faucet was tricky to turn off. This was in room 128. We appreciated the location of the hotel, off I-65 but far enough away that we did not hear expressway noise. Restaurants were nearby.

We had to change rooms because toilet didn't work. Woke up with bug bites on back. Breakfast included only waffles and coffee. Not impressed at all. Snow storm came in and in a empty hotel we were placed on top floor. No salt put down. The bed sqeeked everytime you moved.

Refrigerator freezer door would close because it was all frosted up and the fridge part did not cool. Super 8 is usually stellar stay. This one, I would never think about staying here again. The room was okay, but the bathroom was not very clean. In fact the toilet paper dispenser was filthy. I showed the clerk my picture and he just said, “oh”. We will not be returning ther.

The property was welcoming to pets. The facility is run down. The wall behind the bathroom door was filthy and there were Japanese beetles and stink bugs all in the room. I am from Tennessee and understand this could happen but this was excessive. It was a king size bed but only enough towels for one person was provided. The microwave does not plug into the wall. The cord will not even reach. The floor at the bathroom was coming up and had a hole in the laminant. There was a strong smell of burning wires (possibly drug use from another tenant). While the staff was friendly on check out, this facility needs a complete overhaul.

The staff was amazing, so friendly. The last 3 nights of our stay the guest in the room next to us would have friends over and music thumping thru the walls. They would be laughing and talking over the loud music in the room and outside, leaving the door open and doordashing liquor.

Worst hotel ever with rude staff

The toilet didn't flush, we had to take the lid off and reach down in the tank and lift up the stopper to flush. The toilet tissue holder was almost hanging off the wall. The air conditioner temp was not stable. Had to readjust it several times during the night which kept us up. At 74 deg it was too cold and had to turn off to warm up.

The ancient AC unit was so noisy it kept me awake all night. The room had been remodeled but they didn’t repair the damaged walls. The pocket door didn’t sit square in the opening and the hardware in the outside was new but on the inside was an old cabinet knob. The lighting was terrible

I'm still waiting for them to give me my deposit back plus the first room we was in didn't have hot water and the air conditioner leaked evey were so we changed rooms and had to listen to the couple above us fighting all night long and when we said something about it too the front desk all they said was sorry want stay again if I can help it

Very good on all counts. The staff was wonderful. My key card stopped working and they asked a few questions and got everything straightened out quickly and got me back in. The only strange thing other than key card malfunction was the TV turned on about every 2-3 hours through the night, I think from the remotes in other rooms being used and the sensor picking up through the walls, but other than that everything was good

We had to switch room due to the bathroom not being cleaned and bugs on the room. The second room had no working lights and bugs. The front desk worker told me “it’s summer, there is a lot of f-ing bugs here” I told him I want a refund so my family and I could go to a cleaner hotel.

The attendant was nice when we arrived, we had a late check in (Closer to midnight). The room wasn’t very clean, the bed sounded like it was going to fall apart every time you rolled over and the floor was so uneven I would lose my balance. The floor looked like it hadn’t been swept but it was under whatever sealant was on the floor. The remote didn’t work but the attendant fixed it for us. The shower took all day to drain.

Clean, good location right off interstate. Only needed room to sleep and shower for one night for me and my daughter during a softball tournament. Only issues were the door handle on bathroom was messed up, and it was hard to keep door shut. Also the main door to room, the latch didn’t work right and I had to lift up on door to get it to shut over the little thing. Normal lock worked fine. I wasn’t a fan of the windows they seemed like they might be easy to open from the outside. Not many options for their breakfast either. Otherwise it was a nice pleasant stay, I would stay there again if I needed to.

First moment we walked into our room, you could instantly smell that nothing was clean and it smelt of an ash tray. Room was filthy, and not exaggerating that there suspicious rust colored stains on floor. We were in the room for about a minute before we exited our room and booked another hotel across the room. When telling the staff about conditions of the room, he didn’t seem too surprised.

The guy who checked us in had a horrible personality. I almost walked out. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t shut. It had just been painted over like that was going to fix it. My bottom sheet had a hole in it and stains right where my arm went.

This hotel is "newly updated" it's horrible it's nasty it's dirty it's Jerry rigged it's absolutely disgusting I was there a1 hour and saw roaches I went to Walmart bought alcohol and laundry soap to wash and sanitizer to clean my suitcase slept in my car it's deplorable stay somewhere else it's absolutely nasty un sanitized and roach infested

Upon arriving, I checked in at the front desk ask about my emotional support letter for my emotional support animals. Was told they don’t accept those letters I would have to pay for my pets and it was $15 a night. Because I was only gonna be there for a couple days. First night goes by OK comes along and I have a lady in clothes smoking a cigarette asking me about my pet so I proceeded to tell her there are emotional support animals. I have a letter thing. I know the ladies on the phone little bit later cops are pounding on my door at 10 o’clock at night asking me to, but I have been trespassed. I have to remove my belongings and I’m not welcome on this property For life. Hi, was told it was because I had too many emotional support animals when I ask about them I don’t have a problem paying for them, but evidently they have a problem with their own rules. Never had the complementary breakfast. Nothing only me and my pets in a room at 10 o’clock at night get kicked out by the police department of Columbia. Since being kicked off of their property, I have been charged and additional $90 and additional $103.74 on top of my room for the two nights that I previously paid. No explanation of these charges so I don’t recommend this property to no one because they’re not upfront and honest with the customers or guest would call us. I requested a non-smoking room the Smelled like steed cigarettes And had cigarette burns in the bedding. Trash the floor was disgusting.

The room was a nice size, and the staff was friendly. But we had three separate covers and all of them had holes. Some of these holes were from cigarettes even though it was a no-smoking room. We had to keep getting new key cards to replace because cards that stopped working. The couch in the room wasn't clean.

The room was dirty and it had a smell in it, when you step in the tub for a shower it felt like you was going through the floor. Overall not a good place to stay they need to step up on the cleaning.

So, this is a renovated property. The floor in our room left you climbing up hill to the bathroom. The flooring has cracks and dips throughout the room. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets did not fit it properly, and slid off during the night. The sink was clogged, we told them before we went out the first morning, but it was still clogged when we returned hours later. They sent someone up to fix it while we were there. The pool was clean and enjoyable, but it was right up next to the Burger King parking lot. And do not bother with the complimentary breakfast.

I didn't get to stay here due to the 3rd party card didn't work ,I was on hold with Hotels.com for almost 2hrs after countless calls and arguments to where the Super 8 rejected Hotels.com attempts which then I was relocated and sent to another hotel out of my way and promised a 100 credit towards another stay or flight which again I was lied to

The floors were not super clean and the shower was not that nice either. The towels definitely showed their age as well.

A sign in room said this is a no smoking room yet every time we walked back into room you could smell smoke residue. Blanket had cigarette burn holes all over it as well as the sheet. Could look to the outside through the bottom of entrance door which permitted the tiny bugs flying around room.

Warm and clean to stay the night

Didn’t expect a luxury room being a Super 8, but the cigarette smell (smoking room) made the room almost almost unbearable. Other than that it was decent for a Super 8.

I was traveling alone for only one night so the property was adequate for me but it could use some general upgrading for the interior.

The first non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The toilet was broken. The second room provided still smelled like smoke but we accepted it for the night. when turning down the bet the sheets had cigarette burns in them. When we called the front desk they said they could do anything and suggested we call the corporate office.

Even with the discounts from Hotels.com, our overnight stay came in at just under $140. We were on second floor of an old building with outdoor stairs with uneven treads. When we went down for breakfast nothing was working. No coffee, no juice, no waffles. The poor guy working the desk had to run check the breakers. Yup, that was it. Nothing terrible. Just nothing to recommend it.

The floor was sticky. We were in a non smoking room, but it still smelled like cigarettes and there were visible burn holes on the top “comforter”. The bathroom sink had hair in it and the shower’s tub looked dirty. Also the baseboards in the bathroom were really dusty as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The freezer was iced over, smelled and there were remnants of food in it. Noise control was an issue one night with people partying a few doors down and talking loudly. The bed was very stiff and uncomfortable, and the pillows offered no support. I left with horrible neck pain. Overall not a great stay. I really booked to save money but it just wasn’t worth it. The staff was nice, despite the hotel cleanliness.

It was what you’d expect. You get what you pay for. My only main complaint was the pathetic breakfast. No liquid creamers for coffee seemed ridiculous. You can’t claim to provide breakfast when your only options are a few donuts and instant oatmeal.

At the time of booking, there was only a Smoking room available so we understood there would be a cigarette smell in the room. That was entirely fine and understood. We only needed the room as a place to sleep in between attending an event so none of the issues we came across had a tremendous impact on our stay. That Said - The lamps in the room almost all had tears or holes in the shades, the bedcover had at least one cigarette burn, The sheets had some small stains, there were what looked like scorch marks on the ceiling near the shower, the bathroom vent/fan was covered in grey dust, the tub faucet ran constantly, there was hair in the tub when we got there and a half used roll of toilet paper by the commode. There were also mysterious brownish stains on the floor near the window and the bed like something was spilled and had dried there. We just bleached the tub, lysolled and Clorox wiped the other surfaces, and wore shoes if we weren't in bed. If you need an inexpensive place with free wi-fi to sleep - it's fine.

There was 1 yogurt. No cereal, no milk. 2 bagels in the case with 1 package of peanut butter crackers, and a granola bar. Even the coffe maker was bad. It tasted like instant coffee. The whole place was deserted. No guests anywhere. We had to get the manager to ask for another yogurt which she did get. When I asked where is the breakfast they are supposed to have she said they just have grab and go breakfast. The rooms are refurbished from when it wAs a holiday in. At check in the map we were given for finding our room said Holiday Inn. I asked how long since it was a Holiday Inn and the clerk said they had no idea. Dont bother staying here. Not worth wasting your money. We had to get breakfast elsewhere.

The floor looked and felt like a roller coaster. They listed “breakfast as an amenity and the literally had a couple of pastries sitting out. The coffee was so weak like colored watered. I’ve stayed at many hotels before, if you list breakfast it’s not continental breakfast!!! Very angry about this. Many other hotels in area, buyer beware!

My appointment was cancelled and I did not stay and after calling I was told I could not cancel and no refund. Will not stay at this hotel ever and I will hesitate to use Expedia again

The flooring was not carpet, however, was dirty. You could see the outside under the door.

There was a gap between the door and the floor which allowed leaves and twigs to come into the room. Lots of rusted areas, especially in the bathroom. Very poor water pressure. Every time we left and came back our key wouldn’t work so we had to get it reset 6 times. The people at the front desk were friendly.

The sheets had worn holes and stains on them. The bedspread also had stains on it. I couldn't tell if the floor was clean because it was a vinyl floor and a dark color. The bathroom had rust stains in various places. It was not worth the price I had to pay for a room.

Only stayed 20 minutes. They stated i requesred a smoking room which FYI, hotels.com did not show on the listing. Was with my family of 4. No other rooms available in the town so we tried it. The person at the front desk was beyond rude when i asked if there were any non smoking rooms. The smell was horrible and there were stains on both beds, on was dark red and appeared to be blood. In the room for 5 minutes, another couple entered with a key! To our astonishment, the front desk woman gave a couple our same room, mere minutes after giving it to us. When we confronted her about that and the stains, she said she would be right with us... and then did not come back. I immediately went to the front desk myself, returned the keys, and checked out. I've requested a refund from hotels.com for this $160.00 20 minute stay! Have not heard back, of course. This was an absolute nightmare and would never recommend suoer 8 columbia TN to anyone. 10/14/2022

Room was clean (although there was a slight smoky odor) and staff were friendly and helpful even late at night. The complementary breakfast was a joke - 40 minutes before it was scheduled to close, the only food available was twinkies. Parking was scarce late at night; there is a smashed up abandoned car taking a parking space in the back that hasn't been removed. The hotel room door was finicky and took some effort to click shut from outside. The ice machine was inaccessible because buttons were missing from the lock pad on the door.

I did not stay. My reservation was all messed up - I requested ground floor as I was traveling with my dog and I have a bad a shoulder so hard to carry luggage. Was offered ground floor but for an additional $40!! I did not stay!

The image you provide for this property is VERY inaccurate! WAYYYY to expensive for what I got.

My family and I had to book this hotel as a last minute resort, we spent less than 30 seconds in the room before hearing a cockroach crunch under my shoe ..couldnt see anything bc the lights werent working and the smell of the room was very musty. We left immediately and i recieved a refund but not worth 170 dollars a night!

It was difficult in booking the room becaues it took 20 mimutes for the holet to recevie the reservation. However, the room was not bad, clean, somewhat inviting for the night.

Very poor experience had people outside using drugs parking lot was very congested with no one parking properly. Was double charged for the room by super eight. The breakfast that they show in their pictures is not what is given. Was given the option of apple juice or orange juice from a concentrate machine. Only breakfast was a granola bar. When asking front staff if this was the complementary breakfast she stated it’s complementary you should be happy with it.(very rude) swimming pool was not accessible as it was full of adults that appear to be intoxicated or on drugs. Very large smell of marijuana throughout the whole facility. Would not recommend to anyone with children.

Reserved a handicap accessible room. The beds were way to high. My mother had to be assisted into bed. Will never come back.

Breakfast had limited choices

Waited 10 minutes for staff to come to front desk at 1:30pm. Older hotel. Blow dryer broken. Baby roach in room. Way over priced for quality of stay.

This hotel isnt terrible for the price. It was definitely dirty. Bed was very comfortable. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The door wasn't very sound proof so you could hear people coming in and out all night but that was probably because we were right at the top of the steps. Definitely could use some updates but again not terrible for the price. I've definitely stayed in worse places.

My room was not what was expected. The dead bolt didn’t lock, the floor was dirty, the ironing board broken, the curtains broken, musty smelling, and the overall property dingy. The promised breakfast consisted of packaged danishes, watery apple juice, and no variety. Not worth the $180 for sure. A waste of my money. I will never book a Super8 again. And I would never recommend to anyone.

It is good place to shop and eat there.

Room was ok. Window was dirty, curtain was ripped, love seat has holes in it and the faucet leaked. Tv was big, floors were redone, freashly painted room. The door sill was missing and there is a large gap letting in cold air. Will not be back

Dirty sheets, holes in the bed covers, a bathroom door that could not be closed, stains in the bathroom; the advertised breakfast was not existing.

Dirty, smelly, and scary!

Hair dryer didn’t work, no stopper in the sink, tv remote was filthy, poor instructions on how to use the remote. No place to put luggage, the tv occupied the space instead of being mounted on the wall. No tissue in the bathroom. The place looked rough and needs a rehab. Will not stay again.

But felt comfortable for one night.

The rest of the room was clean and the check in guy was really nice.

Everything went well, it’s a great one night stay.

Helpful housekeeping staff. Thin walls, you can hear sounds from first floor from second floor room. Need updating on floors and noisy air conditioner.

Room smelled like smoke and the bed smelled like smoke also.

My stay was horrible due to the fact that the owner of the facility Showed up after I had already made my reservations and booked in and paid He didn't tell me I needed to pay a $25 deposit Which I did and I didn't say where it had been placed back on my card and when I notified him about that he was very aggressive and rude and yelled over the phone. I would like every single dollar back every penny.

Room wasn’t clean. Moldy. 2nd day, was locked out of room because front desk did not take pet fee.

The young man clerk when I checked in Saturday night was not real friendly. The clerk when we check out Sunday morning was very friendly.

Want as live as the others we stayed at but was clean and I loved the lady at the front desk.

Room was not very clean. Cigarette burn holes in bedspread and blanket. Bathtub would not drain. Extremely noisy neighbors. Not very good soundproofing. LIked the location and convenience to the expressway.

I did not like it that they called at 9am while I was asleep asking to clean my room they could have waited until 11

Hotel is old and run-down, pool is out of service doesn't look like it's been used in years rooms are outdated and worn out and road construction everywhere

They are under renovation --- I think, cannot really tell from all the other construction in the area. Bathroom was literally filthy. Moldy. Dark stains of some sorts above the shower board. Rest was ok, I guess. But not for $90 a night. This place is 1 star, all the way.

Top floor was sinking in and felt like I was going to fall through the floor..
