I only stay here because it’s convenient to the convention held there. The food is mediocre and their included breakfast was cereal and toast. There are 2 Denny’s not a mile away so I just had a $7 breakfast at one of those. I was also sure I reserved a room with a walk in shower but when I checked in I found a tub/shower combo. That meant I needed assistance getting in and out to bathe. And even at that I slipped getting out and rammed my shoulder into the wall before I hit the floor.

The hotel is in renovation and should not receive guests. I had no water to shower, thus I left the hotel in accordance with the manager, which agreed to refund me two pre-paid days, as I only stayed one day paying for such. So far after 72 hours, I do not see a response from the management on an email, and I have not received a refund for the two nights that I pre-paid. The condition is poor and is in remodeling

Rooms were barely average, toilet made a noise all night, they had loud construction starting at 7am. The free breakfast was absolute trash. Went down at 9am and there was nothing left except muffins and fruit, they stated they were done putting food out but the breakfast didn't end until 10am. I requested more towels twice once on the phone and once at the front desk, they never came I had to take towels from the house keepers.

Just the location The staff at front desk were very kind but the housekeepers were literally talking about me in front of my door and what my job occupation was what kind of car i drove and my race “ yeah the black guy” that is so disrespectful and none of their business who i am or what car i drive or my race or occupation. I am highly upset about that. I want my money back because that is bullshit! Its like im being watched and to stand RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ROOM I AM IN. Just dont add up

The room was very out dated and in need of repairs. The facet in the bathroom leaked on the counter when you turned it on. The freezer was on and the freezer defrosted all over the carpet the first night and we woke up to a wet carpet in front of the bed and dresser. The phone was broken and in need of repair. Bathroom door had water damage and was hard to close. We were afraid it would get stuck if you closed it all the way. No places to sit in the atrium or at pool. Doesn’t look like the pictures. Had an awful smell. Needs to be repaired and maintained.

The staff was courteous. Interior garden was nice to walk through. The room was dirty. There was hair everywhere in the shower, the toilet seat was not wiped down, sheets looked like they haven't been changed, and bed was spring with huge indentation for common spots. Bees were flying in my room coming in from the "sealed" window. The breakfast was bread, oatmeal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. All the food supplied had no coverings. I gave the people my meal ticket and walked away without eating anything. I had better breakfast at extended stay down the street, and that was nutrigrain bars and individual muffins.

The covered interior is very nice and relaxing. Although there was construction during our visit. Dirty dishes, lacking basic amenities (very small bath towels covering only head), unfriendly and untrained staff, windows not fully shut getting airfield noise, very minimal breakfast on the room (pretty much yogurt, oatmeal, and some stale fruits).

Was fairly quiet Room was hot, smelly (it was supposed to be nonsmoking but smelled of cigarettes), cheaply repaired/renovated (there was old exposed plumbing/holes in the wall, for example), didn’t have hot water (only lukewarm after letting the water run for an extended period of time), old dingy towels, AC unit was extremely loud while running

One room also had no functioning heat and the hotel staff kept saying it was because we had it set to 74 (not true- a mere reasonable 70). The hotel pool looked like someone's diaper fell apart in it, but staff did nothing about it when mentioned. The breakfast was a joke. Leftover dinner rolls, white bread, yogurt, something that might be oatmeal, a large vat of brown sugar, and surprisingly a beautiful (but underripe) tray of fruit (likely leftover from one of those noisemaking events). Even though we came down half way through the breakfast hours on January, basic things like spoons or napkins were not available, and the employee seemed more focused on asking every single member of our party for our breakfast tickets even though they had already been given to her.

The courtyard, pond area was nice, desk staff were polite.. We checked in at 3pm, right away we noticed the fire sprinkler leaking in the bathroom, there was a puddle on the floor. We called front desk, they sent the maint. man. He checked and said it was fixed. We went back to our room at 4pm & it was still leaking, at approx. 4:40pm we found a BED BUG ? on 1 of the beds. We took it to the front desk , they offered us a different room but we were way to creeped out to stay . We checked out by 5:15pm. Carpet is old and dirty. It really needs some renovations and pest control!!!!

The room & the hallways smelled as if the carpets needed cleaning. Staff members were pleasant & courteous - no complaints there. I did see broken glass from a vehicle in the front parking lot. I asked at check-in and the lady stated that a vehicle was vandalized the night before, the security guard was not present at that time. That was my main concern so I would go outside and check on my vehicle. Nothing happened to my vehicle, thank goodness!

The breakfast could have been much better. Cereal options could be added to the continental breakfast options for children and providing equal fruit options. If fruit is served fresh daily, there should be a whole fruit of each option provided. There was a staff member who seemed like they had a bad attitude and refused to provide service during times service should have been provided. I also attempted to stay longer for personal reasons and another staff member basically shut that down by stating how long my stay currently was and didn't assist with looking for options to meet my needs.

I did not try the small continental breakfast as it is only served til 9 & I chose to sleep in during my stay. I was disappointed that they are changing to a Marriott & doing major construction, so we were not allowed to go to the back entrance near the elevator, so I had to walk across the atrium to reach the elevators. The rooms overlooking the airport (my favorite) were not available. Will be interesting to see what happens next Christmas.

We ended up leaving about ten minutes after getting to the room. I've stayed many times in hotels that are old, dated, even dingy to a degree. Unfortunately, this hotel was completely filthy, with dirt, stains, and grime ground into the carpets - it felt almost slimy underfoot. There was also hair and dirt in the sheets, no mattress protector underneath the sheet, and the mattress was massively ripped and stained. The peeling wallpaper and damaged furniture weren't the dealbreaker for me but they didn't help. The front desk clerk was very polite, but having previously worked in two hotels, I would consider having an earbud in and wearing a hoodie to not be super professional. Funny enough, he seemed completely unsurprised when I came downstairs and told him we would have to stay elsewhere - he cheerfully wished me a good night with no further questions. We ended up at the Hilton Garden Inn at Walnut Creek, which cost a little more but was still affordable and a great experience!

The room I paid for was not available when I arrived at 530 pm. I had liked this hotel for the warm hotel pool, the jungle, and my nostalgia. The pool was a chilly 70 degrees for our trip this time. I did not swim. The hotel gym is good. I did not understand I needed to ask for our room to be cleaned. Perhaps I do not travel often. The interior still has the fantastic house plant jungle. It’s a worn down hotel. When my family came in January 2025 we found a cockroach in our room. I forgot to say anything then. The staffing is minimal. The bar is not worth your time or money. The ficus trees and warm indoor pool were what I came back for this December. I will not come back again.

But there was a a lot to be desired at this hotel. For starters we specifically booked this hotel because it had an indoor hot tub, a complimentary hot breakfast, and a pool. Well the hot tub was closed and looked like it had been for quite some time, the pool was dirty and there was no place to sit, and the breakfast was very disappointing. The only hot thing was oatmeal. Then it was some fruit and bagels or toast. That to me does not qualify as a hot breakfast. On top of that our room not in great condition either. The vent in the bathroom didn't work, the bath towels were barely bigger than hand towels, the lights were flickering, and several the outlets did not work, the bedding consisted of a sheet and a light weight blanket and we freezing! You can tell that at some point this hotel was very nice - but it has been majorly neglected and needs some TLC.

My family was very disappointed in the limited options at the breakfast- apparently there was not even butter for the toast and no milk offered. That said, it was a functional place to stay - if you don't care about the breakfast it is fine.

Ate breakfast in the atrium. Free breakfast was extremely minimal. Ordered from the menu. The omelet was, without a doubt, the worst I have ever tried. I think they stretched one egg over the bacon; no cheese, extremely dry. Couldn't eat. Should have sent it back. Waitress was nice but inattentive. I've stayed there many times in the past and we loved that hotel; kids loved the pool and atrium, especially the fish which are nonexistent now. They did allow us to cancel 2nd night without a penalty as my granddaughter wasn't feeling well. Most likely will not stay there again. Sad really.

The lady who checked me in was very rude . People were smoking in the hallways and we were kept awake all night by the toilet running. I did feel well the next morning after a terrible nights rest and when my husband went down to retrieve our free breakfast that was offered they would allow him to bring me even som juice back to our room . Then kept our breakfast pass so we had nothing to eat or drink . Already canceled my room for December. I was very disappointed.

My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and they had nice fluffy pillows. The room was a nice size with a microwave, Keurig, and a mini refrigerator. The only down fall of the room was the size of the bathroom! It was so small! It was the size of a standard 1/2 bath in our home! Our room was facing an airport but was relatively quiet! I would definately stay again!

I love the charm of the hotel…our window faced out towards a small airport. There is a large atrium at the center of the hotel buildings that is lush with plants and a beautifully meandering water feature in addition to an indoor pool. Staff are always available to help whenever we needed anything. I appreciated having a good sized refrigerator and microwave for our visit.

They do not really offer free continental breakfast as the listing shows, they only had cereal with milk/yogurt, some pastries and muffins, fruits, oat and tea/coffee. For eggs, cheese and meats they were charging additional fees. Also, their SPA is not operational, they only let you know that in an email the night before you check in. Otherwise the hotel is fine, you get what you pay for at this level.

Admittedly I booked this place with out properly reviewing it first. Hotel lobby is nice and has a lot of potential to look better. The first room had a terrible awful smell and hairs on the bed, staff was nice when they received our complaint but I did notice that there was another person complaining about cleanliness. The second room they switched us to was seemingly clean, but there was (I think) dried up vomit behind one of the beds on the wall, which I did not notice till our last day. The faucet in the bathroom was leaking and would make the whole bathroom counter wet. The complimentary breakfast was very minimal and ended at 9am. The restaurant offered a better breakfast at a good price and the food was not bad but the restaurant also closes at 9am so better wake up early if you want to take advantage. There was construction going on Monday morning they are renovating half the hotel. The hot tub was broken...bummer. The swimming pool was small but indoors so that was nice for my kids to enjoy. The stay was only okay and that is because most of our time was spent out of the hotel. But I would be willing to give them one more chance after they finish renovating and then reading reviews to see if there is any improvement.

Two complaints: There was a few big, gross wet spots on the carpet in our room. The free breakfast was lacking. This is the entire list: One choice of chocolate mini muffin, fresh watermelon, plain oatmeal, brown sugar, plain yogurt, granola, one choice of rice cereal, toast and jam. Since they have a full restaurant, the choices were pathetic.

The lobby is really nice. While not a very varied menu, the food at the restaurant was good. Food is your typical American fare, so there's not really an international meal option. Drinks and wine were excellent. Breakfast in the morning was great too, way better food than other hotels I've stayed at. Bed is really comfortable, but furniture and decor in the rooms could use an upgrade. Furniture was dated and noticeable chips in several places. Glass tops on the furniture were not placed accurately- in a hotel like the Hilton, the glass tops on the furniture would have been meticulously placed. A bit of an odd smell in the hallway, but nothing too concerning there. I only stayed for one night so cleaning my room wasn't a concern for me, but apparently you have to request them to have housekeeping clean your room- odd since this is standard in most other hotels. People who stay there seem to be a mix of foreigners and trashy locals. I stayed overnight because I just had my carpet cleaned that day and needed a cleaner place than my apartment to stay while everything was still in disarray. I might stay again. It was okay for a one night stay. Price was reasonable, but if I have a budget to spend more then I'd probably choose a better maintained and more modern hotel.

Stayed in August in the middle of summer. Room was 85 degrees. Waited 3 hours before ùthey finally gave us another room. Elevator broken so we had to use the stairs. Stairwell doors locked. Fun. Spa out of order. Its been out of order for over a year. New room had red stains like a pool of red liquid dried. The pool had a 2 inch layer of green sludge and oily ooze. No way Im getting in there. Our key cards would demagnatize every 12 hours. 3 day stay not once did workers step inside to clean change linen ect. We were only given 1 towel for the entire 3 days. Entire place reaked of Marijuana. The ceiling in the hallway has black mold and severe water damage. Seemed to be only one poor guy working the front desk for 24/7. He was very nice nice amd helpful. The pool and spa were a big reason we booked at the Plaza. Both were unusable. Literally the worst hotel experience ive ever had.

Pictures can be deceiving. The room looked nothing like the pictures. The room was super small, dark, dingy and noisy. Oh, and it smelled funky. The entire hotel needs a revamp. The halls reminded us of The Shining.

Nice place to stay, however we had issues with out T.V. rooms are old but spacious. I would suggest the walls and doors get a better cleaning. If the price is right I would stay here because it is easy to access and close to the freeway.

Staff was friendly. While our room was clean, it was missing several standard items found in a hotel room, including an ice bucket. TV remote and a clock. The second night of our stay there was a large wedding reception downstairs with incredibly loud music playing until 11:00pm. Our room happened to overlook the pool where these festivities were happening. It would have nice to be told about this reception ahead of time and offered a room that was further away from the celebration. For those reasons I likely will NOT stay there again the next time I am in town.

Overall it was a cute place but the room I had I wasnt too fond about, the carpets were dirty I had to keep crocs on or lay out some towels down… just to walk through without socks or shoes….

This hotel is always my go to whenever visiting the Bay Area. It had a nice ambience, even though the rooms were a little dated. The price was usually among the lowest for a decent hotel. On my most recent visit I was given my usual “Executive” room. A little roomier than most rooms. I found the air conditioner wasn’t working. I called downstairs and they said they would send somebody up. I waited two hours and nothing. Call down again, she apologized and said she would send somebody up again. An hour later, still nothing. My wife and I went to the front desk. As we stood in line, someone who identified himself as the general manager asked if he can help us. He obviously already knew what was going on. We explained the air conditioner issue and he said that they were working on it and that it involved the whole wing. He admitted that they checked us into the room, knowing that there was this problem! Now, he was very apologetic but they had no room to move us to as it was already 9 PM. He offered to comp us the room for the night and to bring up a fan, which we accepted as he told us, the problem would be fixed within the next couple of hours. He went so far as to go to Sam’s Club to buy a huge fan. The problem still wasn’t fixed the next day so they ended up switching us to another room that had a toilet that swiveled! This place is old and is showing its age. It is being demolished come October and replaced with a Courtyard Inn AND a Fairfield Inn.

The HVAC system quit working in half of the hotel so I was turned away when checking in. They offered no help finding another hotel at 10:00pm.

The location was great and quiet. The hotel is older, and it shows. There is only one food option and its bar food. However, there are plenty of restaurants around. The pool was nice and warm. Overall not bad for two nights.

My room was next to a main entrance door (126) so I heard noise throughout the night and morning. The AC made a terrible vibration that sounded like construction and startled me when it came on. The chair in the room was stained. The room needs a redo and looked absolutely nothing like the photos of rooms online. Disappointing all around.

We stayed here for two nights. They served free breakfast, had a warm pool that was open in the morning, and have a beautiful indoor courtyard. Four stars because the hot tub was part of why we chose to stay and it was closed.
