The shower in Room 103 needs sorting out (not sure if it's the same in all other rooms). Staff, try having a shower, you can set it to hot or cool, but not warm.

The hotel is old and needs repairing painting and fixing. There were no lamp in the room had to use the bathroom light. No hot water, unacceptable. Staff however was very friendly and try to take of our needs the best they could. Room overpriced would not recommend

Stayed one night. Had the basic amenities and staff was friendly. Room was dirty and clearly not cleaned prior to our check-in. We found a cigarette butt inbetween the mattress and bedframe. The tables and flat surfaces weren't wiped down and had some residue on them. The duvet had dried questionable stains on it. The bathroom sink was dirty and the shower drain had debris still stuck in it. The walls were dirty and could use a fresh paint job.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming

The front desk staff was really kind and helpful. He let me do early check in without extra charges. The room was really clean. The bathroom is really spacious but the shower regulator needs to be replaced because it so difficult to get warm water. It's either too hot or too cold.

Property was disgusting and falling apart. The room looked nothing like advertised. No toilet seat, no shower head, the shower was open in the room and would flood the floor. The bed was nailed to plywood, all bedding was thin and extremely uncomfortable. I cannot say enough bad things about this hotel. We tried to see if they were on the BBB to get them shut down. The city of Miami should be investigating this property for health code violations. DO NOT STAY HERE, I CANNOT EMPHASIS IT ENOUGH.

The worst place I’ve ever booked on Expedia. The smell in the room was horrible. It’s nothing like the pictures. People yelling all night. There was one woman screaming from 7 A.M until about 10A.M. When you tell the front desk they just say “Oh” I wouldn’t stay here again ever.

The room was clean and comfortable. But we found a piece of underwear in the bathroom. There was no one to inform. Also there is no vending machines available. Overall it was okay for a one night stay.

The rooms were out dated and looked nothing like the pictures online. The "cleaner" of the 3 rooms we were shown had a broken hot tub, and i use cleaner very loosly. We didnt even stay there and after being told we wouldn't get charged for canceling we still got charged for the first night. These were more like $60 a night rooms, not what they charge.

The room is barren, looks nothing like the photos, no paint on the walls, no headboard, barely any furniture. Just a bed, a side table with a wonky lamp, dresser, tv, and mini fridge. Sort of a musty odor inside. I arrived late because of delayed flights, and had to knock on the window for a while before a man appeared, who did not speak English. Was able to get into my room. The following morning I wanted to see if there was a Wifi password since my cell service was weak there, and I could not find anyone at all. When I checked out, had the same problem, couldn't find anyone. I left my key in the slot and hoped for the best.

It kind of smells in the room of past guests. The shower is either way too hot or way too cold. The bed sinks when you lay on it. Not the best hotel but decent location and accessibility.

Needed a room because I was stuck in Miami due to the bad weather. The bathroom was updated; however, the room itself did not match the aesthetics. The bed was terrible but I just needed somewhere (that wasn’t the airport) to sleep. The “front desk” lady was super sweet!!!

Detailed & Professional My stay at Galveston Cove Hotel from December 26–27 was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. The hot water barely worked, making it difficult to shower comfortably. The microwave in the room was heavily rusted, which is unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns. Even more troubling was the presence of mold in the room, creating an unpleasant and unhealthy environment during my stay. These issues clearly indicate poor maintenance and lack of attention to basic guest comfort and safety. The room had a really strong smell, a lot of hair all over the room. The room was dirty, I asked for a broom and swept the floors myself (see pics). If you don’t speak Spanish you’re dead in the water.

The morning staffing was great, I had a minor issue and it was corrected immediately. The hotel was very close to the airport and a reasonable distance to the Port for my cruise ship. Good place to stay at a reasonable price. Local food and restaurants nearby for quick eats and their is a nice kinda upscale restaurant and party area not far away.(Within walking distance) There's a 24 hour laundry mat also in reasonable walking distance as well.i met a few nice people staying there and it's also pet friendly. The check in staff could be a little better but I do believe the miscommunication was due to a language barrier issue and the newer staffing operations but all in all nice place to stay will do again when I fly into Miami....

When I arrived the room was dirty and smelled like smoke I was quite shocked and even scared to use anything there I went and bought my own toiletries and I had to have them deep, clean and take everything down and wash it because it’s reeked of smoke in the room was filthy. The staff was really friendly and nice and understanding, but the overall room was quite disturbing. They could use professional cleaners. Even got to witness a police raid at another hotel down the street

there was suppose to be a hottub in the room there was not even a tub nevermind what the room discription says. also the vending machines are no longer there

The tub was perfect I didn't bother with the jets but relaxing and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Definitely my new relaxation spot I will be back. The farm store is near for all your needs food and etc within walking distance no need to drive. The bed was very comfortable almost did a late check out 😀.

The room was dirty, meaning the linen (towels, hot tub, water in the hot tub at hottest point was lukewarm and there was mold around the air conditioner. Furthermore, they didnt disinfect the hot tub because after attempting to get into it i have developed an allergic reaction.....

When I arrived in this hotel from a taxi, I was told that the this location has been converted to a COVID treatment center for months. This was a total shock to me: How could Expedia allows me to complete the booking process for this hotel just like any other hotels? I was forced to find anther hotel on spot to survive a night. Inadequate staff. One gentleman was running around working hard but one person is not adequate to manage the property. Issue with vagrants on property. Lock on door broken from what appears a break-in at an earlier date. Toilet paper holder and towel bars broken. Furniture in terrible shape. No cable tv. No amenities. On positive note, sheets, towels, bathroom all were clean.

My boyfriend and I stayed in 229 and the room was not clean. The walls all around had stains and dirt marks all over. the door has footprints on it and so did other places around the room. The furniture had a sticky surface, the bed did not smell or look clean. The shower had hairs on it, and overall it just didn't smell clean either. I think this place needs to put some work into their maintenance even though it was the most affordable we could find doesn't mean we should get a nasty room. The boogers on the bathroom wall really weren't acceptable. To be honest with anyone reading this, the picture they provide for this "hotel" that is more of a motel looks absolutely nothing like it is in person.

Uncomfortable, stiff bed, very thin and inadequate blanket, AC unit seemed to only blow freezing cold or nothing at all. Most of the furnishings were nice enough, but they're new things in an otherwise underwhelming room. Night manager was strangely defensive - all I said was "I'd like to check in" and he started going on and on totally unprompted about how a previous guest took one look at their room and canceled their stay, and how people shouldn't expect 5-star stays at these prices. Guess he's not wrong.

The Front Main Desk Overnight Helped Me Alot Since I Had To Check In Early. They Tried To Charge Me $70+ Dollars For The Early Check In Fee Which I Only Paid Half Due To A Situation I Had When I Booked This Hotel Through Hotels.Com. It was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. Hotels.com said they had a room available for us at the hotel and when we got there the hotel was overlooked so we not ly were not able to get a room we basically got robbed since I dont have time to deal with their BS customer service. I lost half an hour of my life trying to get a hold of a live agent.

I would give this place one star, mainly because the young lady at the desk was helpful and is obviously doing her best with the DISASTER this “Hotel” is. It’s more like a motel, no pool or spa like advertised. No in room coffee pot, telephone doesn’t work. There’s trash piled on the side of the building, make-up smeared on the mirror, clumps of hair in the shower and to top it off they couldn’t find our reservation made six months. Whom ever owns this place takes zero pride in it.

Awful!! When we first arrived they could not find our reservation. I showed them the receipt and they tried to say that I had not paid, because expedia does not pay them. I had to call Expedia and have them call. When we finally got in the room it was DISGUSTING!!! Our feet were sticking to the floor. The bed was literally peeling and clearly the sheets had not been changed! There was hair ALL OVER the bed (see pics)! The corner of the bed also looked like it had been chewed up by a dog, unfortunately that got cut off in the pic. The TV would not come on until we unplugged it and plugged it back in and then would not change channels, and there was 1 towel, no hand towel or washcloth. It was so gross I would not even sit down. I called Expedia and asked them to get us moved. We were able to move, but had to pay for a new hotel and then wait until the next day for expedia to to get ahold of the hotel manager to refund our money. Expedia was great and at least the hotel refunded our money...but the pics they have posted are very deceitful!!

This was a no tell motel. The light fixtures we're rusted, the a/c didn't work. The cable TV was fuzzy. The sheets were full of black marks the parking lot was full of empty liquor bottles and used plastic gloves. The sheets made me itch as soon as I sat on them. The toilet seat was dirty. I did not stay, since I felt unsafe.

The hotel is good. I’m glad it was close to the airport and where I wanted to go. The one thing that they need to change is having an iron and ironing board in the room. There wasn’t any in mine.

In context what can you expect from a no tell motel. No air conditioning one night and hot water the next. They take a $20 cash deposit for the room key which they return upon check out the next morning. The $20 didnt transfer the 2nd night and they tried to keep it. No such luck in dealing with me!

The hotel bed was very hard and the bedding was torn. The furniture was damaged inside the room. The rooms smelled molded as I had to switch from one room to the next due to water dripping from the walls! U can hear every car passing as it is on the main road. The only thing good was the nice staff and the shower.

Check in was easy and free parking was right in front of the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was about 7 am when the noise of the traffic started on the main road it sits on.

From the moment we arrived at the place it seemed like a horror movie.. we entered the room, it looked very old and dirty.. the walls had stains.. the bath tub had stains.. the bed sheet had stains.. there was rust all over the lighting.. there was stains on the roof.. the refrigerator was dirty.. the floors were filthy.. the curtains had yellow stains all over.. the mirrors had dirt on it like it hasn't been wiped in a year.. everything was so disgusting..

This is not a hotel this is a motel for short time for couples, filthy and dirty with broken furniture and dirty sheets, outside of this place also is dirty garbage not pick up in 2 nights we spend with my 10 years old kid, we could not fine another place close to the children hospital either full or price too high, how come this place is listed as a HOTEL

The hotel itself was ok. The frustrating part was trying to reach the front desk by phone during regular business hours. I couldn’t even leave a voice message because the voice mailbox was full. Check in was quick.

I like the features of the room but it didn't have decent channels. And the office lady had an attitude.

The bad experience started at check in and just got worse. I arrived at 2:45 and there were only about 10 cars in the lot. The Check In Agent started speaking to me in Spanish. I believe the language of America is English. She then, in very broken English told me my room was not ready because they are sold out even though the parking lot that accommodated over 100 cars had about 10 cars in it. I finally got to my room than had a strong smell of mold. My king bed had only one pillow. I asked a housekeeper for more pillows who of course didn't speak English. I brought my pillow out to him and held up 2 fingers. He nodded yes but never showed up. An hour later I called the front desk and was told they do not have any more pillows. The bed sheets also smelled of mold. After walking across the carpet floor barefoot my feet bottoms were black with dirt. When I checked out I thought my nightmare was over but not yet. They took a $20 deposit on my credit card upon checking in. At check out another non English speaking woman pretended she didn't know what I was talking about with the $20 deposit. After about 10 minutes she realized I wasn't leaving and suddenly she was able to speak English. She told me that she could not refund the deposit because my credit card is a Debit/Master Card. I had to get Expedia involved to get my $20 back taking about an hour of my time and 2 phone calls to Expedia. Do not stay at this hotel.

Floor tile missing. Hot tub had cool water. Unable to use and wouldn't change room. Phone didn't have a dial tone. Only two towels. Only two small pillows. Bed sagged in center and was very stiff. Lighting poor. TV only had 20 channels. Three of them are spanish. No local channels. They photo copy your drivers license and credit card and had to ask for it to be returned upon leaving.

Read up on a couple reviews. I typically like giving benefit of the doubt and the rooms did look appealing in the pictures. Initially we checked in earlier then our time so they let us into a room until our main room was ready. This initial room was filthy. There was hair all over the beds and pillow, unclean/chipped furniture, flies around the place, etc. You should never put guests in a room like this. When it came time to switch - we initially had to go through the annoyance of explaining to the people that we were just in that room for the meantime (nobody seemed to speak good English here). We finally got everything situated and checked in to our main room. This room was definitely better than our previous. However - there were still strands of hair on the pillow. Other than that - room service barges in without knocking or having any real method of how they intend to see if you’re inside or not. There were no irons or hairdryer. Overall - the room itself looked okay. The cleanliness of this place needs a lot of work. Workers are okay. Helpful when they want to be.

This place is not a hotel, it is a motel that rents by the hour if you so desire. Sofa shaped like a pair of lips in the lobby as well as atm and signs assuring you they do not engage in illegal activity such as prostitution but yet brochures that give you options to rent by the hour. Pictures of Marilyn Monroe and many mirrors adorn the walls of my room and a super cheap bidet next to the toilet in the bathroom. No fridge, no safe, a mandatory room cleaning even if you don't want it. Sketchy, avoid this place!!!

Quiet even though it is on SW 8th St a very busy street in Little Havana. All the rooms face a courtyard. Room rates are lower than posted on the internet. If you don't want frills it's a good buy. TV channels are limited. AC worked well.

When I entered the room, I liked the atmosphere but when I was about to close the curtains, found out the window was broken. The room was on the 1st floor, facing a hectic street(Calle8) and my husband asked the receptionist, she was very naughty and defensive about it. .. She promptly offered the money back and argued with him, by saying nobody has being killed yet at her property! Seriously?? We could it been the first ones on the paper. We picked our stuff and left. No a good sign...

I checked into the motel at about 5 PM. Went into the bathroom, where there was a dead roach on the bathroom sink. It's Florida, and I was barefoot but had to put shoes on, as the floors had been cleaned with some kind of greasy, oily substance. Went out for dinner and came back at about 10:30PM. Went into the bathroom, where roaches were crawling in the bathroom sink, in the door frame and in the shower. That was it for me, I immediately packed up and left, hoping that I was not taking any cockroaches with me in my suitcase. Disgusting place, will never go back. Inexpensive? yes. Roach infested? YES

It was good just some of the furniture is damaged and the walls were a little dirty

For the price you would expect a 3.5 4 star hotel.

We got the impression it was a dodgy area because the office door was locked in the evening and we had to check in through a window with a speaking grate. Also the bathroom door in our room looked as if it had been kicked in. But besides all that, when we got stuck in Miami due to cancelled flights, they had a room, it was easy to book on Expedia, the rate was reasonable, and we were able to pay a very reasonable rate per hour to stay past check-out time since our next flight was in the afternoon. The staff was kind and helpful, bringing extra towels to our room, and calling a taxi for us when needed.

Mold smell made us sick and the windows to the back do not even have locks which left us feeling very insecure about or stay.

Online photos were misleading to say the least. Thought we were getting a room with a jacuzzi tub, instead we got a very small room, and it didn't even have a shower curtain, let alone a jacuzi tub. Were limited to 2 towels per day, staff barely spoke English and never answered the phone. TV only had like 6 channels. Overall - we were very disappointed and could not wait to leave.
