    We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, this is probably the worst time we had, the pool is outdated and hard to get to, I have bad knees however I am not hadi cap but the stairs to get to the pool are horrendous, the escalator was not in service, you had to call 4-5 times to order room service, and my wife has a medical marijuana prescription, and she brought thc liquid drops with her and 2 of the bottles disappeared, she was hoping they would be here at home and she made a mistake but they were not so theft is 100% unacceptable. We love the Omni on the beach but this one visit was disappointing, the valets were amazing always made sure we got our car.

    The dining options were one of the highlights of the trip. The food at the hotel restaurants was outstanding, and every meal exceeded expectations. If you plan on dining at the steakhouse, make reservations well in advance because it fills up quickly and walk-in availability can be limited. The location is also convenient for exploring Corpus Christi, making it easy to enjoy the waterfront and nearby attractions. Overall, I had a great experience and would gladly stay here again. I highly recommend it for couples, families, or anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and dining options.

    The staff is top notch. The rooms are pretty clean. Just a bit dated. Last time we stayed the water was cut off for most of the time we were there. They said it’d be back on in a few hours but that didn’t happen. It wasn’t a great experience that time. We still had to pay full price

    Don’t expect modern day hotel vibes. It’s an older hotel with late 2000’s luxury taste. As for the views? They are amazing. I’m just not one for staying at older hotels. But that’s personal preference

    Definitely time for them to update their rooms, but the stay and staff are always great. The rooms were clean, just outdated. Elevators were also a 10+ min wait at times. Front desk, valet, bartenders and other staff were amazing and helpful. Love that it’s pet friendly with balconies and views of the water. As a local, I hope Omni invest in their CC location. It’s the best hotel by default but has so much potential to be a 5 star with its staff, view, location and restaurants.

    The valet, front desk, and housekeeping were amazing . We did get room service and the food was mid as well. The hotel is a little dated not what I pictured from seeing the pictures. Our sheets were stained and the restroom was not cleaned very well , there was a smell to the place. We also had the rudest barista/cashier at the coffee place down stairs the fact that your are snatching things and acting like you do not want to work their is not the customers issue. Most likely will not be returning. But there is always a first for everything.

The room furniture was outdated, scratched, and the chair in our room had a hole in it. The room wasn’t dirty, but I did have to wipe down the desk and bathroom counter.

    The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and other amenities. Great view from the balcony! The connected parking was very convenient, and the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, which made for a great first impression. I also appreciated having dining options and additional amenities available within the hotel itself. The hotel is an older property and you can tell it has some age. The carpet in the room felt dirty, not because of housekeeping, but rather because the room was older. Another concern was the condition of the hairdryer in the room. The air intake vent on the back of the hairdryer was heavily clogged with dust and lint. Not only is this a potential fire hazard, but it also reflects a lack of attention to routine maintenance and cleanliness. Hairdryers are inexpensive items that are used frequently by guests, so they should be inspected, cleaned, and replaced as needed. Small details like this can significantly impact a guest’s perception of the property’s overall cleanliness and upkeep. The hot tub was also disappointing. There was a noticeable buildup of grime along the inside surface of the tub, and while I was using it, I pulled out 3 band aids floating in the water while I was in there. The first time it happened was when I got my hands out of the water and the bandaid was on my palm. It felt pretty gross. The water appeared slightly yellow, and a significant amount of dirty looking foam accumulated on the surface. Overall, the hot tub did not appear to be cleaned or maintained frequently enough. I would recommend more frequent water changes and a thorough cleaning and scrubbing of the hot tub to improve the guest experience.

    Nothing in the room worked none of it was updated we were put in a lower level since they were doing construction on the higher balcony’s just to be next to the building across the streets a/c units balcony door wasn’t sealed so that’s all you could hear the water view we were promised and payed for was blocked by a building the restaurants upstairs takes priority over the hotel 100% they flood the lobby with people that don’t even stay there so we had to get a refund because the issues we did have were never solved and it was the worst experience honestly they didn’t even attempt to fix anything the rooms aren’t ready until 2 hours after check in time you pay for parking on top of a 100$ deposit nightly in case anyone missed that Defiently would recommend the best western over them the best western is connected to a very nice small pizza place and seemed so much more peaceful there super nice there

    The rooms need to be updated. They looked very old with paint chipping and the walls weren’t very clean. There were stains on the chairs. But the rest of the hotel as nice the restaurant, front entrance, and the store. The staff were also amazing helpful and friendly. With an update to the rooms I’d be willing to stay again.

    It all started with the ballet people. They are what you see first so I feel like they set the tone for when we walked in the door. They were super welcoming and had great manners. The front desk staff was funny and fast. Super personable. The room was clean our only complaint was the firmness of the beds but otherwise it was a great stay. I love all the yummy food options inside the hotel so you don’t even have to drive anywhere. Great location on the beach so we could walk every morning. We had a great stay

    Hotel is in a great location but the hotel is a little outdated and lacks cleanliness. First thing we found was a plate of leftovers in the mini fridge. Later that evening we found a little towel that was soiled. Not to mention everything at the hotel is really pricey.

    It was a clean room, but the staff for night shift at 11 PM were very rude Especially the gentleman working. He was very rude and got upset when my husband spoke to me in Spanish asking me a question I was never greeted into the hotel by them and this was on 5/8/26 and then they were making me use all my credit cards to try and do a deposit because on the pin pad it would say approved but on the computer it was saying denied and then when they were done, they didn’t even explain about the key cards how to use them in the garage which way to the elevator nothing I will never stay at this hotel again.

    BEWARE!! The property is probably the best in Corpus Christi and Shoreline Dr. is a jewel for the city. Unfortunately, street racing has taken over Shoreline Dr. which fronts the Omni. Drag racing begins at approx. 6:00 p.m. and continued until 5-6 am. There is no possibility of sleeping. I was booked for a two night stay and after the first night I requested a move. They had no rooms available. I requested an early checkout and was granted the checkout, BUT I am still attempting to get a refund for the 2nd night. The staff was nice and very aware of the problem with the noise, but at this time I have not received a call back from the property after 3 attempts to contact them.

    The property was clean. The room was comfortable and clean. A microwave would’ve been nice. I saw housekeeping in the halls, but they never made it to my room in three days. I had to get my own towels/washcloths from the cart in the hallway one evening. I told her not to bother by then as it was late. Trash can was overflowing by the time we left. Had to make our own bed.

    On our floor they had a water leak from the ice machine that made the whole floor and our room smell like wet dirty carpet moldy/mildew smell. The hotel looked nice otherwise and valet staff was nice. We had a balcony overlooking some of the water. Didn’t use pool or any of the hotel amenities so can’t really rate that. Also didn’t realize garage parking was $30/night when booking which I think is excessive so we ended up self parking a half block away.

    At check in I had to put 200$ on my card for incidentals which won't be returned for 2-3 business days!!     Nice hotel. Limited access to water in the room. Before we got settled we noticed 4 water bottles provided so we had to think fast on how to atleast rinse our bodies.     Beds were very comfortable and it was in a good location. The hotel is a little outdated. Rooms could use remodeling and the couch in our room needs to be replaced because it was dirty and no one wanted to sit on it. Staff was very friendly and we got vouchers for a free alcoholic drink which we did take advantage of. The indoor pool is just split between the outdoor pool, which made the water really cold since it was cold the night we stayed. Would I stay here again? Probably not for the price they charge. It was a little pricey for the condition that hotel is in.

    Our room was clean but the restroom was grossly dirty. I went to grab some cleaning supplies myself just to at least sanitize the tub. Also there was loud construction all the way until 5pm. We were given a choice to move rooms but it would be a lesser room with no view or an offer of a refund of the difference we paid for our water view. There is also an extra charge for everything like parking and breakfast. Other than that, staff was kind and the lobby was really nice. Check in and out was easy and we were even given an early check in time which I appreciated. Overall I would stay here again since it’s one of the nicer hotels in corpus.

    I very disappointed in our stay. The hot tub had brown foam and hair swirling on the first night when we went down which was disgusting. You had to lift up the toilet seat in our room so that the door would clear and could be shut. Lastly the hotel staff called and woke us at 10:45 PM to notify us of a balance the night before our check out. When we went down in the morning we were told that it was “hotel policy”. Considering the rate that is charged I would have expected a clean space and better consideration of their guests.

    Overall it was a good stay, does feel a little dated in the rooms not as nice as some other hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff all around was very helpful and nice, room was clean but did seem like it has seen better days. For the amount of money paid, it was a solid experience.

    Check in is at 4pm. The room wasn’t ready. Had it have been ready on time I wouldn’t have been rammed by another guest in my vehicle in the valet area at 4:30pm. After asking for a refund they finally had a room ready at 5:45pm. The manager was arrogant and rude. I don’t remember his name but he was shaved bald. Then I stepped on something brown in my room with my sock. Planned on enjoying my Valentine’s Day and just getting my room became such an ordeal the whole stay was horrible. The valets and loss prevention guys were way more professional than the management. You should give them sensitivity training right away.

    The room was a bit overpriced for what it was. Parking wasn't cheap at $40/night for valet or $30 for self. My room was drafty and despite the thermometer saying 85, it wasn't 85. Comfy bed and decent shower though, nothing is all bad.

    I had surgery that day.So we stayed at night there at the motel room.Cause the convenience of the hospital. Doing so, my wife was going downstairs. Helping me bring me dinner. And I know it was a lot of work for her.So in the morning, we decided to go down.And eat breakfast together. Doing so she was helping me because I can barely walk. She accidentally made a mess with the waffle mix. And one of the workers are called her stupid ass. Two another employee, not knowing my wife was standing right there.And heard her say. But again, it was an accident.She was trying to help me.My wife said she was the one who did, and the lady came back with a comment saying, well, you should be more careful. But again my wife was busy trying to help me cause I can't walk due to the surgery, I just got yesterday.She was so hurtful, it made her cry. We did talk to the manager he gave us the room for free. But there was a lady at the front desk.She was very nice and helpful. And she apologize for what happened.

    Will never go back. Room (14th floor) was tiny, bathroom outdated and clostrophobic with teenie tiny tub and door hittingthe toiletwhen opened, no vanity mirrors for my wife to do makeup, beautiful view of American Bank bldg across the street, room was musty and dank upon arrival due to patio door not being closed properly and A/C not re-engaging (designed to shut off when door is open), parking was insufficient, and pillows were completely inadequate (ultra-soft, under filled, compressed to nothing and wrapped around our heads after a few minutes. Pool/jacuzzi virtually inaccessible to people with challenges on stairs - have to go to second floor then down a narrow, steep round of stairs back to the first floor to access. Extremely disappointed. Had better stays at much less expensive locations. Not really sure what they're offering for the price.

    The room was very clean and we enjoyed the view from the room. We enjoyed a nice walk outside on the boardwalk and it was clean, beautiful and safe. We had the most outstanding service at the bar on the second floor, where I enjoyed my first, delicious espresso martini! Yum! The staff was warm and welcoming!

    Room furnishings were old/dated..bathroom tissue holder was broken, linens could be better quality, wallpaper and popcorm ceilings scream 80's. Wicker upgrades made to decor in hotel are cheap quality like those found in a 2 star hotel. I would rather pay more for a nicer place, don't like parking fee in a low end like hotel that is struggling to hang-on to the 45 year old higher star rating.

    The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking on-site is secure, easy and plentiful. The hotel is centrally located downtown with easy highway access, but also has easy walking access to the oceanfront. Many of the rooms also have a great view. Additionally, the range of food options within the hotel does not disappoint, if staying in is your preference.

    I have stayed several times at this property over the years, but this time it was very noticeable that it needs to be renovated to carry the Omni name. First, the staff was all very nice, so there was no issue with them. As soon as you step off the elevator, you notice a musty, mildewy smell in the hallway; the doors look worn, and the carpet looks like it has had better days. I rented an executive suite, and the room smelled; there was gum stuck to the furniture, the carpet was dirty and had rips, the furniture was old, scratched, and worn, and the sofa material was loose from the cushions and worn down. The sink and tub did not drain properly. The lock on the patio sliding door was broken, so a technician had to come up and replace it. Overall, I was highly disappointed with how run-down this place is. It used to be really lovely to stay here, and I wish they did a better job of keeping the rooms and hallways up to date, clean, and smelling like the lobby. The front desk agent was trying to be accommodating and offered to change my room (although they were all downgrades), but when I went to check them out, they were all in the same state with similar-smelling rooms. I hope things change in the future.

We were nicely dressed for the day so we felt maybe because of our race she acted this way. Anyways my wife caught her vibe towards us how she took not a second to smile or a good morning or talk to us directly but with a sarcastic reply. So my wife smiled and said thank you. Looked at me and said lets get breakfast in downtown. So we checked out by 11 and left to find a restaurant. Hands down to the valet parking the day we arrived and the morning we left we did tip each time very well. We usually stay at Double tree when in town this was first time at Double tree other then my sister's wedding a few years ago. This time I stayed the night. My wife loved it and the bar we had a couple drinks before heading out Saturday night. Everyone was so polite and the gift shop had a very nice staff. We will despite the lady at restaurant Sunday (host blonde hair ) maybe she just needs another spot other then host . Host means you welcome everyone , greet . Before we talked to her she was laughing smiling and talking to others . We stood there a few seconds waiting for her to acknowledge us

    Beautiful hotel. Our room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. I got a room with a balcony and since they weren't too busy they were able to give us an ocean view room. The hotel is also located near a lot of great restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

    The bed was very firm. Frustration with the concierge. Guests are not allowed to use a luggage cart without a concierge. FIrst time ever that a boot of mine was LOST en route. I had to retrace the journey my luggage took and found it in the parking garage. The attendant was very blase about it. Not impressed. Checking out, I requested the valet bring a cart up and had to call again. The group I was with was on a time schedule so they had to leave without me. It was an inconvenience. The valet in the morning was very nice and respectful and listened to me vent and apologized. He gave excellent customer service when he arrived. We ate in the restaurant. The food was great!

    We were there for an anniversary, and received a fun surprise, a couple of truffles on a plate were left for us while we were out. Check in was exemplary, very friendly. The room itself is a little dated but the view from the balconies exceptional. There was a lot of noise coming from a parking garage across the street, but it's under construction so I don't expect it to be a full time problem there. Parking is easy, the room key opens and closes the gate with in and out privileges.

    I have stayed at this property for a couple years every time I visit Corpus and this time the room was so dirty. The bathroom was missing all the knobs on the cabinet. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. It was just filthy. The entire stay was a let down.

    We had a few issues with our first room...refrigerator wasn't working, the safe was left open in the locked position and couldn't be used without being reset by the hotel engineer, and body wash in the shower was nearly empty. Also, the room was very humid and took a while to cool down. However, the front desk staff and management were very friendly and accommodating and moved us to a different room. In that room, the toilet was leaking so we had to have the engineer come fix it. The A/C was better in this room. My standards are high so this hotel did not meet my expectations and I would not stay here again.

    There were two large generators across the street and they were super loud. They are temporary but had to change rooms. The poor staff there must be going crazy! Aside from that, it was all good!     We stayed for 3 nights. The first 2 nights were ok, the noise coming from outside all night long was awful even on the 12th floor. There was no mention of the noise being an issue when I booked the hotel however once you get to your room they have a sign. They apologize for the noise and I get that there is nothing they can do but if they are aware it's a problem then it should be mentioned when booking the hotel. On our third night there was a bunch of kids running up and down the hallway and they were intentionally slamming doors. By 1:30 in the morning I had enough and called the front desk which took forever for them to answer. I explained the issue and instead of sending security they offered to put me in another room. It was 1:30 in the morning and I was not the problem, I should not have been even offered that. They should have addressed the issue and sent security. 2:00 rolls around and yet no security, finally my husband went to the front desk and security was there, he had the nerve to ask my husband what he wants them to do about it. WHAT THE HECK!! IT'S CALLED DO YOUR JOB!! 2:30 comes and we hear banging, it was the cops, our neighbor next to us had called them since security lacked doing their job. The cops told the guest to quite down and by about 3am the noise stopped. I took a picture, there were over 20 kids in a single room and the hotel was fully aware and allowed that! It was awful and I will never return to this hotel again.

    Room was noisy. AC machine, noise from physical plant on adjacent buildings. The Republic of Texas restaurant on the top floor has allowed it's standards to slip verses 5- 10 years ago but is still a good place to get a good steak. Overall my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

    Rooms advertised as having hypoallergenic bedding but this only means pillows. Had a few bad experiences with hotel dining : slow service at restaurants, several experiences where they forgot to place my order, wrong order, got sour milk with my room service, food coming up cold. I had an experience where the bar tender said she had forgotten place my order, it came out an hour late - she said “she’d take care of it” and it was a 25% comp. I had my drink comped because I was waiting so long. Then I when I was ready to leave I checked at the bar to make sure I was good - she said I wasn’t and that the comp wasn’t “all the way”. I asked for the bill and she said ok. Then she proceeded to not give it to me for over 10 minutes when I was running really late at this point. I walked away bc I knew she had my room number and they could add it to my bill. She called me room to tell me she still had my card. That’s when I came back down and saw it was only a 25% comp. This whole ordeal was a 2 hour experience. Not great. I could go on but it’s a fancy hotel but there are many gaps in quality of service and transparency of amenities.

    This was my first time staying there. I used the Valet parking and they were very prompt and polite. Kudos to everyone on the team. We stayed in room 1549 and the view was great! The room was comfortable and the AC was working properly. We also used the pool and hot tub. Bea (bartender) came and offered us water, I have never been offered water by the pool! Kudos to Bea! We also visited the restaurant on the 20th floor and drank a few glasses of wine. Our waitress named April was so informative and helpful. Mireya (desk clerk) was so nice and she even suggested a few restaurants in the area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back to stay with them.

    Honestly the best hotel staff ever. Very professional, sent an email prior asking if we were celebrating anything. Explained it was my son's birthday. When we came back from being out for the day, they had balloons, a card and dessert at his room. They gave us a great view at their restaurant, The Republic of Texas. The food was fantastic and service was great. The rooms are very clean and the downstairs bar is really nice. Had a great weekend. We always stay at the Omni everytime we come to Corpus and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

    There was no hand soap provided, the bathtub wasn’t clean, and the hair dryer didn’t work. We only received two towels for a four-day stay, and the ones we did get were stained. While the bed was comfortable and the view was nice, the overall cleanliness and attention to detail were lacking, especially for the price. On top of that, we spent $200 for a “special” dinner that turned out to be a lame steak and just two pieces of shrimp, far from worth the cost. The pool closed at 10 p.m., so we never got to enjoy it after our daily activities. Service felt superficial rather than warm or accommodating, and for such meaningful occasions, we expected better. The location and view were the best parts, but the quality, service, and value did not justify the cost.

    The view from my room was stunning! I enjoyed watching the full moon one night, the sunrise from my window the next morning, and even took a short walk down Ocean Drive (just steps from the hotel) for another beautiful sunrise.
