    Staff was nice, location was perfect Our room’s AC unit was leaking water, and the entire room had a strong musty, humid smell. When we arrived, we had brought food with us because the room was advertised as having a refrigerator. However, the refrigerator was not working upon arrival because the breaker had tripped. We had to wait several hours for it to cool down after my boyfriend fixed the breaker issue. Fortunately, we had an ice chest and were able to keep our food cold with ice in the meantime.

    The front desk staff were not friendly nor attentive; poor customer service for the entirety of our two day stay. The room was clean enough but built up filth in the corners of the bathroom floor. The beds were uncomfortable; hard mattresses with very little padding and minimal bedding. Little to no sound proofing in the rooms. We could hear the conversations of the family staying in the room next to us as well as every bump, laugh and yell, as I’m sure they heard ours. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and their customer service was great.

    The rooms was standard and clean. You have to have a key to get in and out of building at all times and that's a pain. No breakfast only coffee from 6am to 10am if there's any available.

    When using stovetop; the vent fan did not work. The stairway was dirty as if it is never vacuumed. I did appreciate staff coming to remove trash but there should be a sign that says “do not disturb” so we can give them the option to come or not. Outside the property there isn’t really a place to hand out besides the bench’s next to the dryer vents and parking lot. Other than that I may stay here again just for the price

    I liked how close it was to relatives homes Homeless people hanging around the complex using the exterior plugs to charge cellphones. Beds were uncomfortable and very hard. The metal on the furniture was rusty. The refrigerator was very nosey and the freezer was frozen up. The sheets were stained. I had two rooms, and both rooms were bad. I will not ever rent a room at motel 6 again. I should receive half my money back for that stay.

    This is a transient hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. We were on the third floor and elevator was out for 2 days. When we left we had to take all our luggage and belongings down stairs. No apologies or compensation.

    The staff was very rude at this location, I lit incense for my prayer time in the afternoon/evening and turned on the vent above the stove and opened the window so no one would be disturbed by it. I received a phone call saying that I couldn’t have any more incense lit in my room even if it was for prayer. I agreed, the next day 15 minutes prior to checkout time I went to extend my stay and they informed me that I could no longer stay there because I was smoking in my room. They were not trying to hear anything I had to say, this is after i had already submitted my payment online for my room that they gladly excepted and didn’t refund me because “I was smoking in my room”. Not to mention I told them I had no where to go cause I had just used my money with them and even if they would have refunded me I wouldn’t have received it right away. All of this to top it all off was all on Christmas Day. This is how they decided to treat their customers on Christmas Day. Granted they probably don’t celebrate I’m assuming, so it made it easier for them to throw me out on the street with nowhere to go, and this was the manager by the way. Who wasn’t trying to hear it at all not one bit. So I highly recommend staying as far from this place possible. There’s a reason their rooms are 50-60 dollars a night and the hotels next door to them on each side charge $125+. Every single night on the off season and double that peak season. Your better off going to extended stay up the road 100%

    The cleaning crew were very nice and welcoming and the front desk lady on the night shift was patient and welcoming. The hotel was clean and pleasant my kids really enjoyed being here. It's not too big and it's not too small it's perfect for families. The only thing I didn't like is that the pool was way too cold they should have warmed it up especially because it's an outside pool and the wind was picking up a bit, but I'm sure if we would have asked, they would have done it.

    Good location. After check-in I went to my room and the room smelled of smoke and it was pretty bad. Second room the room was a lit better but the AC didn't cool was well. Room was good but not great. I would stay somewhere else.

    Fridge in 227 was not working. Hallway reaked of marijuana, elevator was out of order, carpet in the halls amd stairwells looked old and dirty. Room felt warm and humid despite adjusting the a.c. the gentlemen in house keeping was very nice and helped carry my suitcase up the stairs though!

    Room 232 was very humid. There was mold spots on furniture and walls. Water leaking from the AC. Bed sheets felt wet. Walking on a humid floor is uncomfortable. The pool was nice. The place is cheaply made. You can hear your footsteps creek the floor. They didn’t want to refund my second night cause I checked out at 12. I only waited cause the third party started they would call the front desk to refund me. Thanks for the third night refund.

    Lady at front desk was ok. Was nothing at all as expected. Mattress low budget as you can imagine, was only laid on a board. The AC was on 60 when we got there, a little too cold for us. I turned it to 68, comfortable. I got up in the middle of the night, and the laminate flooring had puddles of condensation, as well as the walls, counters and everything in the bathroom was wet and our clothes were damp. The shower had a stool built in so you were always directly under the water. Last but not least, there was black mold in the bathroom. I paid for 4 nights through expidia and was given only 3 nights refunded, which I was told by front desk would take 7-10 days. Do not recommend. Spent the rest of our vacation at LaQuinta in Calallen, and had a great stay for the same price. Also, was suppose to have continental breakfast, it didn't and not even COFFEE.

    We had a comfortable stay overall, but there are a couple things worth noting. When we arrived, there were food crumbs on the smooth top, likely from the previous guests. It’s a small thing, but definitely something housekeeping should catch. Also, noise was an issue during the night, with people coming in and out making a lot of noise in the hallways, which made it hard to sleep. The stay was fine otherwise, but a little more attention to cleaning and noise control would make a big difference. Otherwise would have been a 5 star due to the location and friendly staff.

    Staff does everything they could to keep it clean. It’s very humid climate, therefore, air condition temperature set to 64F and still the floor is wet in the morning. But they keep leaning, drying, refreshing, etc. One thing we were hoping for: the dog area would be clearly identified with some sign. We will definitely visit again.

    Room was clean, shower was large and great. Bed was ok, definitely slept on worse but mattress was a bit hard. My main complaint was the cleaning staff going up a down the hallways every morning at 930 knocking on doors and yelling. I'm on vacation, I'm still sleeping. People don't need a reminder that they have to checkout in an hour and half they have alarms for that. Also when I asked for a late check out on the last day I was told they don't do that. That's their policy, fine I get it, but a bit annoying. Definitely will not be staying here again on any of my monthly trips to Corpus.

    Overall this hotel is okay for a budget hotel. Reception and housekeeping were competent and did their jobs well, not overtly friendly which I'm okay with. They didn't 'customer service voice' us but they did their jobs and did them efficiently and I appreciate that. I'm pretty sure that they turn the AC to each room off between guests and then turn them on right before check-in bc when we checked in (at 2p, early) it was HUMID in the room. The moisture in the air made everything feel wet and since I believe they do it between guests, it affects the room. The curtains have small mold spots due to the humidity and the walls have water stains from the drywall being wet. However, once the AC has time to work, the room dries up and it gets cold if you want it to (65 or below is best for no humidity). The room was certainly clean, but they could stand to restock all new linens for the entire hotel. Small stains were on bedding and a few of the smaller towels. Mostly mascara stains on pillowcases and also similar makeup marks on face/hand towels, nothing gross or hazardous. The bedding and towels are also low quality and probably close to being worn out but they're fine (that's more a corporate issue than this specific hotel anyway). As a housekeeper myself, the housekeeping here does good work altogether considering. Mattresses and pillows are thin and not super comfortable but again just okay. Shower pressure is great, kitchenette is nice, and parking is easy and accessible.

    My second night at this property was quieter, but the person who ran the front desk for the second shift was the rudest hotel staff member I have ever met. For context: this trip was to claim the remainder of my deceased mother's belongings. There was a lot of things that had to be sorted through and a local friend was helping me with that. We weren't making a mess and we took out our own trash. Yet, at one point, the staff member very rudely told us that we had to leave the commons area because we had been there too long. When I questioned her and told her she was coming off as very rude, she walked away from us and said "I can be ruder". There are no posted signs or anything else indicating that the commons area has a timelimit. My only assumption is that our talking was interrupting her incredibly loud show that she was watching at the front desk. When I tried to report this incident to the manager the next morning, I was told there was not a manager on duty. I requested that the manger call me when they came in and I never received a call. I will absolutely never be staying at this hotel again. I should have paid the extra $20 per night and stayed at the Hampton across the street.

    Good enough for the price. Hallway had a bad smell, but not the room. No dishes or anything in the kitchenette. Decent size refrigerator. Shower floor moves around and made me uncomfortable. I have balance issues as it is. No tissues provided, only toilet paper. Wifi was weird. My iPad and fire TV stick would accept the password but fail to connect after minutes long wait. Our phones and laptop connected fine. Strange. Internet speed was 5-7mbps late afternoon and 30mbps later that night.

    Okay, checkin didn't give me a kitchen pack. Vacuuming in corners could be better. Everything worked. Towels a little thin and scratchy (old school Motel6 type). Convenient to Whataburger.

    The room smelled horrible, the furniture broken and rusty. The walls full of mold. And at 2:30am the fire alarm went off and then twice more every 20 or 30 minutes. And then it didn't stop playing with low volume until I left the room at 9:00am it kept ringing. Furniture with mold too.

    The staff was very helpful especially front desk lady i believe her name was Krystal she was great and very helpful would recommend. Great for price and loved it because they are PET FRIENDLY and the charge is not crazily over priced like other hotels. Studio 6 has my business everytime i come down back ro corpus.

    Only issue is a ridiculous 11am checkout in a resort town. Most have a noon check out and offer late checkout as well. Front desk guy was stent that they were sooooo busy there (maybe 15 cars all stay in the lot and checking out on a Wednesday) that they don’t offer any late check out what so over, even for those with status.
