The view on Downtown Dallas The trains passing by downstairs are a bit noisy.

We enjoyed it being within walking distance to many things. We enjoyed the restaurants within the Hyatt, as well.

Everything was excellent except, when I checked out, my room key did not let me out of the parking. I was given another key specifically to let me out that did not work. I tried calling reception but never got an answer. Could not locate security to let me out, the car behind me was nice enough to let me out

The staff was all very nice and available to us. The food and drinks in the bar/restaurant were delicious. My one and only "complaint" is that the room didn't seem to cool down very well. All in all, would absolutely stay here again.

Nothing was excellent. Hallway was not clean and bad smell. Bathroom sink was broken and all around was very old looking. Paint was coming off and shower was not working perfectly. Never recommend to anyone and stay back.

My daughters and I visit Dallas often. Every May come to town and stay at the Hyatt for a concert we look forward to all year. This year, we purchased a gift item at Tiffany's for a very special person and a once in a lifetime special occasion that was occurring the next day. That gift was accidentally left in our hotel room after check out. We realized it an hour after leaving but we were already in Arlington, headed into a Ranger game. We called the hotel and the room was checked. The bag with the gift was not found. I was devastated as that we not have time to go back to Tiffany's. The gift was needed for the next day. We proceeded with filing a lost/stolen report with Elaine in the the security department. She took it upon herself to search through ALL the trash from the floor we were staying on and the bag was found! We went back Dallas after the baseball game before heading back to OKC. We retrieved the gift, which was still perfectly wrapped, with the receipt and card in the bag. I could not believe it! Elaine-- thank you! You have no idea how appreciative we are! To the management of the Hyatt: Elaine is a phenomenal employee! She is a great example of going above and beyond and because of that, we will continue being Hyatt Regency guests. I hope the management recognizes the outstanding perseverance and moral character of this staff member. Elaine-- THANK YOU!

Very upscale place to stay. The amenities were great! Located in a great location that's convenient to shopping, dining, and downtown. Staff was courteous and friendly. Will definitely be staying again!

The rooms are always clean! We LOVE staying at the Hyatt Regency!!! It is perfect for a night away from home! However, I do wish the food options stayed open a little later than what they usually do. But other than that it is a PERFECT stay!

I enjoyed my stay. I was there with my best friend for a girls trip. Our room was spacious but there was a good bit of wasted space. Housekeeping came one day of our 3 night stay though we asked them to come another day and they did not. My friend tried numerous times to call the front desk and no one answered. The mini fridge did not keep items cold at all. My bed was comfy. There were lots of places to hang out in the property. I liked being able to see this pretty bridge from our room. I appreciated that the hotel was connected to Reunion Tower, and we did visit the tower. We ate at one of the restaurants in the hotel. My food missed the mark for me. I ordered brisket. My best friend really enjoyed her food though. Overall, I liked the hotel & would stay there again.

Security was appreciated for the parking lot but $30 a night for parking my own vehicle was a bit steep in price, especially for a lot not adjacent to the hotel.

One of the adjoining rooms’ alarm clock was going off from the time we arrived until the next day, in spite of calls to the main desk. Last time kids were playing in another room loudly.

Staff at the front counter are horrible at customer service. I’ll never come back to this hotel.

Buffet breakfast available with many options

We specifically went to view the fireworks for New Year's Eve. The hotel had a little gift for us upon check-in and the organization in getting the guests to a great viewing area was perfectly executed. I could not believe how well managed this was as well as the friendly attitudes the employees and the police offered for that entire evening. With the chaos all around, they did beautifully. I could not have asked for a better time or experience.

The room was substandard and not very clean. The front desk staff were not receptive. At breakfast, we repeatedly had to ask for basic items like juice and coffee which did not have a station of its own.

We had loud neighbors and the walls were too thin. We could hear everything everyone else was doing at all times of the night. We cut our stay early and continued our vacation at another hotel. Would not stay here again

It was immaculate. It's a huge hotel but it's laid out for simple access to the rooms.

This is truly the nicest stay! Its location is walkable to downtown Dallas with great restaurants to eat with relaxing water features to enhance the atmosphere. Customer service was not lacking in any way! And one of the best cups of coffee we’ve had!

The only problem that I had was that the bathroom there’s no room for me to put my toiletry stuff in the water was turned off until about 11 AM and I wake up kinda early so I had to go downstairs to use the restroom.

While me and my family stayed in the hotel and the hotel itself was satisfactory,we didn’t know about the all male same sex event being held this whole weekend in the hotel. my children had to see grown men making out and also having very little clothing in the lobby area. My daughter also had to witness a man in a leopard thong and many guys in other very revealing outfits. the people weren’t disruptive or anything but I would have appreciated a notification of some sort letting me know of the event taking over the hotel and offered a chance to change my accommodations. the staff was good and so was the service. I was just really uncomfortable with the atmosphere.

This hotel is not near anything walkable. If you want to go get dinner or enjoy an activity, then you must rent a car or get an Uber, which can be expensive. The hotel is located directly next to the train station so all day and night you can hear the train and you can also hear the vehicles outside in the entranceway. There was not much open late night to eat in the hotel either. I have had way better stays at other hotels. I would not come back to the Hyatt.

Bed too soft worn out, pillows flat worn out , takes a long time to get hot water, restaurant Centennial and menu very boring. Needs more insulation. Noise from lobby, street, and trains. Plus side is the staff is fantastic! Very polite and helpful. Front desk, concierge, and the hostess at the restaurant provided great service!

Five stars for Emecka. I really hope I spelled his name right. He was absolutely amazing and one of the nicest people ever. Otherwise, I rate the staff of four star because I understand that ballet was pretty busy the night that I was there, but the valet was kind of rude. This specific guy opened my door and told me to hurry up, he said “thanks” and then closed my door right after.

The wait time for the elevators was over 15 minutes despite there being 6 elevators on the property. In the morning, i ordered room service, a simple 2 orders of orange juice. Never received it. The valet system was horrible. Took 20 + minute to get my vehicle after requesting it and one of the times i came down to request my car and it was sitting unlocked with the keys inside still up front, never moved and also, It took 45 minutes to get my car at check out.

Check-in was a breeze and the staff was awesome. The room was great with the accent lighting. I didnt get the city view but the sunsets were awesome on the opposite side. Hotel restaurants/bars are right there which was awesome. Would’ve given a 5 star but the self parking was around the corner and down a hill. Besides that, it was a great stay.

The room was fabulous! It had a great view of the city, it was very clean with plenty of room for my clothes. I loved the automatic blinds that had two sets and made the room very dark. It was great for sleeping in. The coffee at the cafe was delicious along with the pastries.

Rooms need better sound isolation from the main shared hall/space. Okay hotel so much space it feels empty, decoration could be much better if someone puts the time into it. Solid 3/5. It’s not a 4 star.

The room service is good. And the dinner I ordered through room services was impressively delicious. (lamb shops). They have a car rental service right in the lobby which was great since Dallas is huge and you need a car if you really want to know and you don't walk much.

The hotel is extremely nice. The open views of the lobby give an eye-opening experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed only one night, but I wish we had time to stay longer. the only con is the downtown view was not that exciting and there's a train just outside the hotel that can be heard throughout the night.

Need updating carpet areas and ensure team cleans, our room had hair in the bathroom and dirty counter in the room with crumbs. Pillows are subpar for hotel and mattress is lumpy one one side. Walls are paper thin and doors are too heavy that slamming all note keeps guest awake. Bathroom sliding doors do not allow for privacy. Auto Light under bed nice idea but too bright

Clean hotel. Area felt safe. Hotel sits right next to the train tracks and the train runs all night - very loud. Beds are very firm. Electrical outlets for phone chargers are only on the side of the bed against the wall. Poor lighting in bathroom and bedroom for doing makeup (only ambient lighting everywhere). Bar area is very boring. Only 1 server and 1 bartender on a weekend night - very difficult to get drinks, plus there wasn’t any music and they kept the TVs on mute, so it just felt like an awkward atmosphere.

Had drinks at the bar and decided to stay for a burger—which was delivered quickly and was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and solicitous. Our breakfast waitress was wonderful, super friendly and again, kept us with fresh and hot coffee and checked in often.

Everyone was courteous and the bell boy should be in upper management rather than dropping bags off!

The room backed up against the elevator and I listen to the elevator go up and down all night while it shook my bed.

Not sure what management has done to the staff at this hotel. You can sense when people are unhappy and hopeless. The worst example was at the bar on Thursday night. We wanted a light meal and cocktail before the show. We were given the impression we were imposing by doing so. The exception was the kitchen worker who brought out the sandwich and salad. He was enthusiastic and helpful, highlighting the crummy attitude of the bar staff. When I see this sort of thing being pervasive (the registration staff and valet staff had the same negative attitude) I believe it comes from poor management. You can inspire people or beat them down. It looks like hotel mgt has chosen the beat-down approach. Sad. The hotel has a brilliant lobby and atmosphere, though the rooms are obviously dated.

The room was clean and fairly large. Large hotel. Front desk didn't know which restaurants were open when we arrived, so they recommended one that was ultimately closed. Went to the bar-food is salty - very mediocre-do not recommend. Good drinks.

It was very nice. One strange thing is that we had no cold water in our room. So the cold water gave us warm water that was really warm and then the hot water was really hot. I love the towels.

It was a very busy day. There was a cheer competition and the Dallas Christmas parade all on the same day. Our checkin was quick and painless. The staff was kind and courteous. We were in a room at the end away from the cheer kiddos so it was a comfortable and quiet night. Will stay again.

Checking into hotel was one of the worst experiences ever at a nice resort like Hyatt. We arrived late in evening, no one allowed to drop off luggage at front desk. Valet service was fully booked. We were told to go to south parking lot and enter through the tower location. It was at least a half mile walk to unload the car and enter hotel. The check in staff just said it was an unfortunate weekend due to cheer and dance team competition being held at the location. We would have never booked the hotel if we had been informed of the activity.

We had lunch at the cafe. The salad I had was very tasty. The lobby bar was so much fun on Thursday and Saturday nights. It was super busy both nights we were there. We walked to the touristy area with the museums and several places to eat. My work had our dinner at Crown Block and I was so happy it was connected to the hotel. We upgraded to a room on the 18th floor and the view was incredible. The beds were extremely comfy. Staying at the hotel was a great experience.

This Hotel was very affordable for being in this area, the check-in was smooth and the rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. I will be staying here again for our next convention center meet.

Rooms were nice, registration staff was very helpful. Valet parking was a nightmare! I realize there was a cheer event the weekend we stayed so there were a lot of people, but the parking staff failed in so many ways to keep the driveway organized! It was awful! Long waits, getting stuck behind cars trying to check in and holding up the flow, parking attendants were impatient and just not too helpful. I feel for them and I do hope they figure out a better system.

They put us near the weight room and the banging started at 6am and woke us up. Hotel said they would comp our room but we have to do through Expedia. How do we get that done

Rooms could use a refresh. Desk chair was ripped in many places. Called front desk and they brought a brand new chair within minutes. Room was hot at night and bed was very hard. Staff was amazing and breakfast was very good

This Hyatt was very huge and grand with limited dining options and inconveniently far from the core of downtown. You can see from the many scuffed walls and furniture pieces that this location is old. There was also a smell in our room that aged the hotel as well.

The lobby smells amazing when you walk in so whomever’s idea that was absolutely brilliant 😍 the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was so friendly! The only thing I would say is parking is crazy expensive $50 a night for valet is really over the top in my opinion. Still a great stay but definitely not worth it to park

The hotel was very clean, stylish, and relaxing, and the location was excellent. The customer service was great, and the check-in and check-out were done very quickly. The bar also provided excellent service. I went with my girlfriends, and we had a wonderful time.

This is a huge hotel. With tons of rooms and restaurants on site. It’s also central to a lot in Downtown Dallas. If you’re here for a vacation or a business trip this hotel will be sufficient !

Construction was going on and hotel does not have good sign for outsiders. They should put better sign and or talk to city. Food was not par. Coffee was cold and toast was terrible. Too crowded.

All of the staff seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and were very friendly. I would give it 5 stars but the train track that is right outside of the hotel makes the hotel very noisy especially at night. We were on the 8th floor and could also hear a lot of noise from the 2nd floor food places.

the room and facilities were beautiful, my only complaint for the entire trip was that there are not many breakfast options and it was FREEZING everywhere in the hotel. Uncomfortably cold. In all hallways, the lobby and common areas. It was warmer outside than it was in the hotel. This may not be a negative to most people but my toes kept going numb I was so cold.

Hyatt Regency Dallas is an excellent place to stay when visiting Dallas. Customer service stands out as being their main priority. I also enjoy the smiles I see on their employees faces.

Clean room great staff. Only complaint was the noise on the third floor was a little loud with restaurants and bar right below especially at night .

There are a few bar staff who don’t seem happy to assist. They don’t smile and don’t acknowledge. However, everyone else from bell assistants to Concierge are great.

The room was a little messy upon check-in. The facilities were pretty good including the restaurants and bars. Probably would've had a better experience if I wasn't there during the big rivalry OU and TX game.

Room wasn’t cleaned for two days came home at 4pm room was dirty no towels no toilet paper. When I contacted front desk they said I must have left do it disturb on door both days. I said no we did not. Then she said they were still cleaning rooms. But there was no one on my floor. Then asked if they normally cleaned rooms after 4. They said no. Bad service is one thing but making it out to be my fault is insulting.

Good value for money

We loved this hotel. The only issues were that the emergency exit to the lobby was locked and we couldn't open it during a fire alarm. We also did not like that we had to pay a ton of money for hotel parking and it wasn't included with our very expensive hotel room

I was expecting a 5 star hotel and it was just average. Fairly clean, nothing fancy.

I haven’t went out to the shops as much, but there are some entertainments here and there. Room is always clean when I come back from being with friends and teammates.

When we got to our room, the toilet had not been flushed. The hotel is EXTREMELY noisy. Whether it's the trains outside, some sort of equipment that was running every 5-10 minutes all night long, or the toilet that would start running extremely loudly, I can't say we got a good nights sleep. Need to invest in some sound proofing, the room had paper walls.

only stayed one night but it was excellent. Staff were all kind and helpful, easy in and out. Very nice, spacious room with a great view of the sunset.

The area looks dangerous. The hotel did not offer a variety to eat. The furniture in the room was very worn and the aircondition did not let us sleep.

The absolute loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The party in the atrium doesn’t end until 1am. Got terrible sleep both nights. Stay here if you’re a loud and drunk conventioneer

Check-in counter attendants were a mix of nice or not so customer service oriented staff. When I checked in, the guy checking me in didn’t even give me a bottle of water, while clearly giving another customer one. He instead told me to go buy it in the cafe behind me, where they changed $4 for a small bottle. I found the room already had one for $3 a bottle, a dollar cheaper, bruh! That wasn’t nice. Why be so petty with customers over just a bottle of water?! Another room for improvement was, although it is nice to have shampoo/conditioner/body soap pumps installed inside the shower, but they mounted it right next to where you stand under the shower head. So you are constantly bumping into it. They should’ve placed it towards the back, away from where people stand under the shower. Valet was amazing. Overall, I loved my stay here.

This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Great dining options. You are able to enter the Reunion Tower through the hotel. Very clean!

Great place

If you have a travel router, you won’t be able to get a connection using the Ethernet ports provided either. Otherwise the stay was great - just unable to stream plex reliably over the hotel connection.

The facility was excellen for our convention. Staffing was ready to assist. Front desk attendant were ready with solutions.

It is a very huge building and we stayed during the week so it looked empty and it being a huge building made it feel even more empty lol but over all it was a beautiful hotel...very clean and front desk was super nice....

The security team was a little quick to ask us to leave areas - as a group of 5 or 6 friends we tried to stay in areas that were open and would not bother people.

This hotel looks like it hasn't been properly maintained or updated through the years. Our bathroom sink had cracks through it. The bathroom was not very clean. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like the mattress or frame was broken. The pool is embarrassing for a hotel this size. It was so small and uninviting. We wouldn't even get in it, or was that bad!!

Hotel clean and staff helpful but the area is not safe!

I could do with cleaner sheets, mine had yellow spots right in the center of the bed, and even a small burn hole on the fitted sheet which was just off putting at a hotel of this caliber but over all everything else was great. Sheets are just an ocd thing of mine.

Pool was very small and crowded for a hotel this large

Due to the fact that I'm confined to a wheelchair, I didn't like the fact that the beds were too high for me to safely get in and out. However, the staff accommodated me with a rollaway that served the purpose. Same thing with the toilet, to high. Also the shower seat was too far away for me to reach the shower head. Keep in mind, though, this review is based off the fact that I cannot walk or stand at all. Otherwise, everything else was great! Staff was very accomodating under the circumstances.

The stay was beautiful. Only issue was the wings made in the restaurant. It was asked on more than one occasion to not fry the wings hard and each time it seemed that the wings were fried harder and harder. I only stay at this hotel when I visit Dallas and this was the only visit that the wings were disappointing for my special guests and myself. All other aspects of my stay was enjoyable. We also had the privilege of being served by an awesome waitstaff during breakfast. Her name is Betty.

Absolutely loves my stay here. I would definitely be back. I have to be in Dallas in September and will be reserving another room at that time.

We were very warmly greeted by Tina at the night desk. She made us feel welcome, gave us a lot of information about the hotel, and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. And during our stay, Alisa gave us such great service!! Thank you all!

The details of this hotel were impeccable. We loved the Stephen Pyles custom-blend coffee delivered in the Stanley lunch box to our room in the mornings. The beds were comfortable and shower had great pressure. We had a group of about 6 couples, we enjoyed the pool and sitting by the outdoor fireplace visiting.

I was in town and stayed there for work purposes, I think the biggest downfall is the parking fee which I understand. It’s all around the area. Also. Doesn’t have the best ventilation for air conditioning, which I understand. It’s an old building, but overall it was an all right stay

It was a great stay - it exceeded my expectations.

I didn't realized it was a convention center as well. Way too busy and loud and too many teens running around. The lobby is very noisy and if you have a room in the center lobby area it's loud in your room until they close. Bring a noise machine and some ear plugs and you'll be fine. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. I will always complian about not enough mirrors and lighting. Women need more of this to get ready! Fun hotel if you're wanting to meet people and drink. If I wasn't in a rush during my stay I would have enjoyed the lobby, even if it's loud, but I wasn't there for loud.

Overall, the hotel was beautiful inside and out. My room could have been a little nicer for the money. The bed was rough and very hard (not just firm).

Service not that great, had to remind them on 2 seperate days to clean our rooms. 4 star with no lugguage service, had to cart them to our rooms. Far cry from a 4 star hotel, consider your options in the city.
