    After traveling through many States, and staying in different hotels, we have decided that Comfort Inn has the most comfortable beds, clean rooms, and price by far. Everything was good for an overnight stay. We didn't have a chance to check out the Gym or the Pool, but maybe next time.

    I couldn’t never get in my room the key cards never worked. It was very frustrating the guy at the desk had to open the door. I will never stay there again bad experience and the room had a bad smell like mildew.

    Great hot water and pressure for the shower. Room was clean and comfortable. Property could use a refresh as it looks well worn. The ventilation system has a musty smell throughout the hotel. Single elevator is old and slow, but it still works. Overall, this hotel was good if all you need is a place to sleep and shower. Staff dealt well with what they have to work with.

    If you are just looking for a bed but don't care about cleanliness, smells, quality of food, upkeep of facilities, this is your place. Upon entering our room we inspected sheets and pillows. The sheets were worn and some pillows had spots or stains on pillow cases. The floors didn't look clean- saw leftover spots of the last guests coffee. Walls had not been wiped down as there was a brown smear of something sticky on.wall. Bathroom floors appeared to not have been clean in quite sometime. Mold was all in the vents of AC unit in room. There's a strong smell of some chemical in the air. I'm guessing it's cleaning products and they are trying to mask the bad smell throughout the hotel. In one hallway a trashcan was collecting water from a hole in the ceiling. Went down to look at breakfast and scramble eggs were greenish/gray in some parts. I just got coffee and made a piece of toast. The lady at the front desk is nice. But if you want somewhere that's clean and management seems to care about the property don't go here.

    The staff was very helpful and courteous. The property itself was disastrous. The breakfast was terrible. My room had a serious AC issue - although it ran constantly it never took the moisture out of the air. I also noticed a black substance around the AC vents in the ceiling. I saw one guest who came down and asked for towels because his AC unit was leaking. Unfortunately, I would not recommend nor would I stay again at this facility.

    traveled for a softball tournament! everywhere else was super pricey but we stayed here and have a few times! price is great beds are comfy and breakfast is decent like waffles eggs sausage and all other basics. would deff stay again if playing there.     Overall stay was ok but there were a few issues. There was a spot of blood on the mattress pad. It was changed out with a clean one. It took several inquiries to figure out the TV. The room as warm with poor circulation it felt much warmer than what thermostat read. The quality of the breakfast was poor with grey eggs and limited other choices.

    There were two homeless women in the lobby and they stayed there all night and were asking to use our room to shower the following morning. We were on the first floor and heard some member of the hotel staff yelling at a woman at 5 am.

    My biggest issues with this hotel was the room keys. They did not work right half the time and had to get them rekeyed multiple times. I have never had that issue at any of the MANY hotels and have stayed at. The front desk was very helpful though. The gym was a bit gross but the hot tub was actually hot which was nice. This hotel is in need and of some renovations/updating to compete with the much nicer hotels in Denton

    I had to change rooms because the first room smelled like mildew and Clorox mixed together. I asked to be moved and they moved me to the 4th floor. The room floor was dirty and when I checked the room I moved a couch and they had stuffed the dirty sheets and trash behind it. I requested house keeping and they changed the sheets but they had stains in them. We reported everything and all they said was well you can call Expedia to get a refund. Trying to get a hold of anyone at Expedia was a headache on its own. Overall I paid for what would be a high quality hotel. Overall terrible experience.

    The hotel was super clean. The pool was too cloudy to use but honestly I wasn’t feeling it anyway. We have dogs and our room had flooring that was specifically for that. Lately I’ve stayed in several hotels and this was by far the best.

    Had the main light full of bigs in the first room we tried. Next room just had a few flying around that we had to chase down and kill. Furniture and walls had signs of moisture damage and wear and tear. Fridge had things left ovee from previous guest. Didn't dare to check what they were.Needs updating and cleaning lessons for the staff.

    Disappointed with the breakfast. Advertised to open at 6AM but when I arrived at 6 the one Staff member was just starting to set up. I wasn’t able to enjoy a full breakfast as I needed to leave at 6:15. Otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking lot well lit and appeared safe. Staff friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

    This hotel is extremely dirty. The walls are stained, there was food in my room when I checked in. There were also cockroaches and bedbugs, and the people at the front desk wouldn’t refund me or give me any kind of discount when I told them about the bedbugs and the bites covering my body. Everyone should avoid this place like the plague.

    Our stay was on 12/26. The hotel was filthy, and I have pictures.The toilet seat was broken off in room 104, dead bugs under lamps and beside bed, curtains were covered in stains, broken towel bar in bathroom, and floors were dirty with neglected cleaning…piles in corners. Room 215 had a live cockroach and dead bugs by the bed, filthy stained curtains, our a/c unit didn’t work, dirty undusted furniture, unclean shower, filthy floors, stained bedding. The hallways reeked of sewage and odd smells. The breakfast was sparse and we didn’t eat anything due to the obvious neglect everywhere.

    The hotel room was dirty but what really stood out to me was the mildew smell and the molding ceiling tiles that covered the hallways on the first floor like there was clearly a leak or flood at some point. It was kinda run down and compared to a year and a half ago and I don't recommend the stay. Oh and the bed had what appeared to be blood stains. I was totally disgusted.

    Inside the room, there were candy wrappers left on the small couch, and we found hair on one of the beds clearly, it had not been properly cleaned. We went back to the front desk to express our concerns, and to their credit, they did provide us with a new room. The second room was an improvement in terms of cleanliness and smell. However, we were surprised to find an open bottle of wine and a meal replacement shake left in the refrigerator both clear signs that it hadn’t been cleaned or checked before our stay. While the staff was responsive in switching our room, the lack of proper cleanliness and attention to detail made us feel uneasy and disappointed.

    This property is extremely run down. As soon as I checked in I walked to a close by gas station the first one sold more wine and beer than anything else and homeless people camped out. Walked to QT and it was better ran into a sheriff and chatted and he told me that this was not a good side of town. Most Country Inn and Suites I have stayed at are nice but this was one is extremely run down. There was a domestic while I was there and even with the police coming they still didn’t kick the problem guests out, next night large police presence with guns drawn on someone in the parking lot. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Just beware of your surroundings if you stay here

    I was looking for a room near UNT for move-in day and it is either this place or a much more expensive place. I went for the cheaper option thinking I was not going to be there much with moving my daughter into her dorm all day both days of my stay. However, I arrived with a vehicle full of boxes and totes and had to leave it parked in the parking lot like this with NUMEROUS signs all over the parking lot making it clear they were not responsible for lost property or vehicle damage for any car parked in the parking lot. Needless to say, I was very concerned my car would get broken into due to the boxes so I slept very little the first night. By 6am both mornings there were was a constant sound of slamming doors which was odd to me since the door to my room barely closed to touch the frame when I left it to close on its own. But now I have skipped the best part. Upon arriving, I entered the lobby and was immediately greeted with an odor of mildew/mold and chlorine. Then the gentleman checking me in barely spoke to me. When I came in from the side door the door had the electronic box on it for the key card to access however the door just pulled open so it was not locked. This was just as distressing as the parking situation. Once in my room I assessed where my window faced out to so I could move my car where I could watch it over night. The stairwell smelled bad, the hallway to the rooms smelled bad, and my room smelled bad. I ended up having to get some Febreeze

    With all the other hotel options around, this one will not be a repeat visit. First upon arrival, I was met with an overwhelming gas odor. I asked the front desk man if there was a problem. He acted like it was all normal. I believe it was from the dryers in the laundry room. When I got to my room, the temperature was 85 degrees inside and 100 degrees outside. It took hours to cool the room down. I went to the indoor pool and there was a man just hanging out by the fitness room watching videos on his phone. The fitness room had broken equipment and the same gas smell. The pool was lovely but one of the screens was not installed properly so there were dead bugs in the hot tub. Breakfast was okay - normal things. The proximity to the colleges and Braum’s was the best about the hotel.

    Hotels on both sides are very questionnable-- worried about my vehicle overnight. A lot of transient people around. Breakfast was bad....eggs that were off color (kind of grey) with no meat. Asked for butter or peanut butter for toast and was told they didn't have any. Only bananas present- and most were more brown than yellow. Positive- check in person was very kind and welcoming.

    Hotel was pretty dirty. Had a strong smell of weed. The door to our room had been kicked in at some point. The lights in the entryway of our room wouldn’t turn on. The bed frame was broken at the bottom and would dip when you sat down.

    We had a long stay with family. Hotel was clean and staff was kind and friendly during entire stay. Breakfast had cereal, eggs, sausage, pastries, waffle maker. I wished they would have had cream cheese for toast. They had butter. Coffee was good and hot. Elevator was fine. Swimming pool room temperature was warm. Pool water was warm also. Hot tub was super hot. I like them hot, but I only put my foot in. One of the pool room lights was flickering. My youngest kids enjoyed swimming. My oldest said everything was too warm to be comfortable in the pool area. I think if the pool water or the pool room temperature had been colder it would have been more enjoyable. Only other thing that was a little annoying was the WiFi would sometimes be slow or kick you off. It seems like they have several connections so not sure why. Sometimes my device would remember the user agreement and sometimes I'd have to click it again because it forgot. A Denny's and a Dairy Queen are in walking distance which is a nice benefit. Beds are taller than I'm used to. I'm about 5'3 and I kind of had to hop in bed. Overall we had a nice stay and enjoyed time with family.

    I’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent stay at the Comfort Inn at 4050 Mesa Dr, Denton, TX. Our room had significant AC condensation that spread water over a quarter of the floor, nearly damaging our electronics and posing a safety risk. Management said no maintenance staff was available and offered no room change or compensation. Staff showed no concern, and the situation was handled poorly. This is unacceptable for a Choice Hotels property. I request compensation and action to prevent this from happening to other guests.

    Worst hotel stay of my life! I want to clarify that the only person that was helpful was Aj but unfortunately she was only there for 2 shifts (check in and check out). We planned a 5day stay and booked this hotel bc it was 8min from our event. The room stunk. We had to air it out. By day two we found ants all over the table and desk and outlets staff would not bring us towels or blankets. Breakfast was cold. We finally had to ask for a new room and asked for help moving a cot but was told you can do it yourself it has wheels. New room stunk and was hot. Restroom had broken towel rack and shower knobs. new room bad horrible beds that squeaked and were bumpy. Again staff was not helpful. Finally had to ask to checkout early.

    There is no security whatsoever at this location. They let anyone walk in and proceed to the elevator and rooms without stopping them or confirming if they are staying there. On the morning we checked out, there were broken beer bottles scattered throughout the parking lot (there had been people drinking in the parking lot each night we were there). When I told the front desk person about the broken glass in the parking lot, she did not respond. When we left the hotel about two hours later the broken glass had not been cleaned up. Do yourself a favor and skip this listing/hotel.

    We were not comfortable with the idea of people gathered around outside near the property. These look to be homeless people and people visiting nearby slum hotels. The lobby had a bad odor but the room itself was fair. Would not recommend as far as location is concerned. I would not stay here again.

    I also found mold inside the AC unit, which I was unknowingly inhaling, and there was mold in the bathroom ceiling as well as on the walls. The room door wouldn’t lock properly, making it a significant safety concern. When I called corporate, they claimed they couldn't assist me, and no one at the hotel was willing to help or provide a refund. I am now considering seeking legal action.

    The bed was comfy and the room appeared nice and clean. AC worked well. Staff was friendly and addressed needs. Not fault of hotel, but close to highway so some traffic noise. Breakfast is a "full" breakfast and it was just "OK"...other than waffles or a pastry or two there was sausage patty and scrambled eggs, no potatoes or biscuit. My BIGGEST ISSUE WAS fruit flies in the juice. I was first one in the breakfast room and when i got OJ from the dispenser i saw the fruit flies flitting around plus all in my juice. Apparently someone is not keeping those dispensers clean. I will say that when brought to staff attention they cleaned and they replaced all juice with new containers.

    The sheets were stained, all of them, the floors were sticky, the staff was rude until we were trying to check out. There was….unknown stains on the bed board as well as the body prints of hands and breasts, I have a photo of all of these. Now they are refusing us a refund despite us never even sleeping at the hotel.

    The only good thing about my stay was Donna, the front desk clerk. She had to deal with a situation with Hotels.com and she was great! But things went downhill from there. The first room I was put in had locks that wouldn't work, so I had to be moved. The next room had damp towels, a tv that wouldn't turn on, the metal frame under the mattress made a horrible BANG noise every time I'd move in the bed, and there was no internet the entire time I was there (I had to go to the lobby every time I needed internet.) When I complained to the night clerk he talked to me like I was stupid. He blamed the noisy bed on me (said I was kicking the frame!) and claimed I hadn't turned the tv on; both ridiculous accusations! I turned it off and on 3 times in an hour and all I got was a message that didn't make sense. The next morning, I pointed out to him that the waffle batter machine was dispensing the wrong batter and he once again talked to me like I was stupid and said I was using the machine wrong! He didn't bother to apologize when he figured out what the problem was (the internal containers were mixed up.) He either has a problem with women in general and thinks it's ok to talk down to them, or he's just plain rude to all customers. I can't print his name on this site, but I'd be happy to give management his name.

    Bedspread had stains. Removed. Sheets were clean. No instructions for tv. No brochures of any kind amenities available. Chair had tear on arm. Most of furniture was old. Arrived at 2:40pm. They would not let me cheçk in. I would have to wait until 3pm òr come back later. We had to skip breakfast bècause not served till 7am. Oh, and i asķed to use tĥe restroom at check in. Ŵhen i went in, there was a note and tape on the light switch to put on the outside of the door that said occupied. The door lock was broken.I got all this for $235 plus tax. My stays with Comfort in are over.

    Our room had graffiti on the window, shower, door, and pictures. Our floor was also sticky and turned our baby’s legs black after a few seconds of crawling. Most of the staff was also very unfriendly. It was advertised that they offered cribs, and they told us they didn’t when we arrived. Luckily we brought a pack n play, but it would’ve been extremely inconvenient if we hadn’t.
