Location was ok No elevator, pool wasn’t accessible, water stains on ceiling, had a bad smell in the room.

For a cheap place to rest with two beds it was fine. But we had a downstairs hotel and the room above us had small kids talking and nonstop running until 2am

Not bad as a value option...

No pool available. The key card quit working at 10 AM while we were all going in and out to check out which locked us all out. Then this part isn't the hotel's fault necessarily, but the people upstairs sounded like they were bowling in their room until about 11 pm, then they had a screaming argument in the parking lot, then someone kept setting off the car alarm with their key fob and let the alarm ring util the car quit, and then did it again. Also, if construction traffic noise bothers you, you need to know that is unavoidable here.

Not much to like. Daily, routine maintenance is an issue.

the location The perfum ( humidifier- burning of udi sticks) they put on common places eg reception and corridors... Makes the place stuffy. Not pleasant at all.

The location is right off the highway so things are fairly close. The Waffle House next door was a big plus since there isn't any breakfast provided.

I stayed 5/19-21/2026. Arriving room and property were clean, but the common areas had a very bad odor. The next day after returning from work, the room was not clean and did not have clean towels. Went to front desk and got fresh towels and toile treats and for the cleaning I was told that housekeeping was already gone and couldn't do anything. I was told that the manager will contact me the next day to see about getting a credit or refund. and I am still waiting for that phone call.

yes, air conditioning was great, soap dispensers in shower did not dispense/empty. had mold around tub area. The deodorizer/air fresher such as ForBreeze was over bearing in office and room 115. being sensitive to orders caused me discomfort and 3am this morning before I finally got some rest.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this hotel. The price was lower than all the other options and I was afraid it was going to be nasty. But it was clean, smelled nice and a wonderful weekend.

For the location and the price I would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly very helpful. Parking was easy close to places to eat.

TV wasn't working, AC unit was blowing mold, stains on the walls, and the bathtub was dirty. The website pictures looked good but must have been taken quite a long time ago.

There were many homeless or vagrants in the location. But I did not have any issues with them and my car was good. For the price it's a good deal.

The room had a wierd smell, the floor had stuff on it. Other than that the rest was okay.

The photos for this property do match the current conditions. This place is very outdated. The moment you walk in there is a weird smell. The airdryer didn’t work. The hinge on the bathroom door was broken. They give you two medium size towels that are very dingy, old and release a lot of lint. The room next to us played loud music the entire night. Locals do not recommend this place because a lot of homeless people stay there and they have a problem with bedbugs. I do not recommend this place.

This is a run down “motel”. The 7.1 rating or whatever is inaccurate. Lot of hotel residents loitering around in hallways, outside, just everywhere. Smells bad, hallways are musty, pretty run down. This place needs an accurate recent review so people can decide to stay or not.

Ac worked well. No elevators, had to walk up flights of stairs. Hallways reeked of other visitors smoking weed. Just an unfortunate location made it feel kind of seedy. One of the better beds and clean sheets Ive slept in though. :)

I was under the impression that it would be an inside room not a motel style. We were given a motel room with an outside door. Parking was very limited and there was a very small roll of toilet paper (random) in the room. Floors and bathrooms could use a GOOD cleaning.

We were assigned a room that was messy; either not clean or someone was still there. We notified the front desk, and we were assigned a second room; one of the pillows had a big yellow spot; it was unpleasant. We checked out 2 hours after checking in.

Location near new shopping centers..The beds could have been cleaned better..My sheets had not been changed in our room,which was a little eerie to me,but i went to walmart and got cleaning supplies as well as face towels,which the room didn’t have .We asked housekeeping to put towels and clean the room,but i’m not sure if the housekeeping crew understood english well..But other than that,everything was fine…

This place was sketchy from the word "go". They lock the lobby at night because the neighborhood is so bad. We got in super late (3 am after a flight), and I swear the woman hanging around outside in front of the lobby was part of the oldest profession. When we got to our room, the smell was almost unbearable. A combination of a urine-like smell under industrial cleaner. While the room was not very well maintained, it wasn't terrible - but the smell was. We were supposed to stay for several days, but we left in the morning. If it hadn't been 3 in the morning and we hadn't been exhausted, we would have not stayed one night.

The room they gave me was clean but lower level I was looking out at parking lot which came up to lower sill of window. They moved me to 2nd floor, better. TV didn't work but they got it working with new remote. No breakfast not even coffee in lobby. Room was clean though and staff was friendly. Probably would not stay there again.

There was body soap in the bathroom

The room climate felt mucky upon entering. The window unit AC made us get stuffy while we slept. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful with our requests. The entire hotel felt hot and uncomfortable. We will be booking a different hotel next time.

Love my stay

This a very good place to stay close to the UNT camus. The hotel smelled good, loookef clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would say good value and convience make a good hotel a great one. To the parents coming to see their kids I would highly recommend this hotel.

Easy parking, loved the 2 pm check in time versus others that do 3 pm. Room had great AC, best pillows and bed, hot water. I slept very well

Outside presentation was looking run down, the pool didn’t look kept up with, few times I saw randoms sitting by the pool and bikes just leaned against the gate. Second when I first came to check in there was a smell that never left, you could smell it even in the hall ways; it smelled gross but was able to ignore for the most part as my baby and I weren’t there much. Third on a couple nights someone was smoking weed a room or so over as our room started to smell like it, did not report as we had a couple things we reported that took a while to get back to us like the smoke alarm making noise and they didn’t send someone till 9pm to go check it out.. my baby was trying to go to sleep so we sent the away as who send someone so late at night.. then when I checked out a couple hours later they send me a text saying I left damage. Which I am still trying to figure out how I “caused” it as stated above my child and I were rarely there, my husband would only come at night to sleep. At the end I give them a 2/5 stars. They can definitely improve a lot as I paid over $500 for my 6 days, ridiculous they are still trying to get more money from me. Overall not very satisfied with my stay here, will not rebook in the future.

This is an old hotel that llooks good on the outside. Once you enter the hallway and walk up the sagging stairs under the newish carpet you realize you should’ve spent $20 more to stay in a decent hotel. Water is like warm and the whole interior needs a facelift

Toilet in bathroom ran the whole time and a/c did not work in bedroom. Toilet and a/c worked in the separate room . It is close to shopping and restaurants.

There was no hand soap, shampoo, or body wash in any of the dispensers in the restroom. The room was clean but the door to the bathroom would get stuck constantly. There was no air conditioning in the restroom so it was as hot as outside if closed. When I changed my clothes in the restroom they stuck to me, and there are dead tadpoles and other bugs in the vent/light combo. The parking lot has potholes so be careful. Rough area of town but room was clean and not musty. It fit my budget and I brought all my own soaps and shampoo/conditioner. The pool water looked clear but the bottom needed a pool vacuum. Staff was courteous.

I work on the road an only stay here it’s the best for the price

I had a 4 night stay. You get what you pay for. Walking distance to Waffle House and Denny’s a plus. Good parking. However, they never cleaned the room. Over 4 days. Same sheets, same towels.

Not very helpful. Didn’t want to give me things missing and the room and I stayed over . They didn’t offer to clean my room. I had to ask for more tissue, towels and for my trash to be emptied. That never happened

Area is rough

The property was dirty and did not feel safe. The room was not cleaned completely. It suited what we needed it for which was to sleep for 6 hours and leave immediately, but I would not be back, nor would I recommend it for any sort of extended stay.

Friendliest and most attentive staff I have encountered outside a 5 star hotel. Nice variety of pillows from thin to thick and soft to firm. Very clean for the age. Great price and truly just the nicest staff. Rare find.

I book at this place solely because of the pool when I got there I was told pool was not available I walked out !

The pool qas the reason we got this hotel and it was green when we got there. It was a bummer because we went for my daughter to be turtored for 5 days and her reward at the end of the night was the pool. But the owner was cool gave us a refund for half. Rooms were nice and clean.

Adequate for our purposes, nothing fancy. Security seemed appropriate with key card required to access hotel after 10:00 pm. Bathroom could have used an update. Refrigerator was good. Ironing board but no iron. Overall it was fine.

The only thing i really didn't like about our stay, was that house keeping came to our door 45 minutes before check out time and tried to enter the room. We had the deadbolt locked, otherwise they would have succeeded in entering. My husband and i were both in the process of trying to get dressed when she tried to walk in. This is unacceptable.

Asked for service on our second day of the stay didn't get it. Couldn't watch tv to unwind. It would play 25 to 30 minutes and cut off. Wifi signal was weak. Sometimes when running a business there's somethings you can't cut corners on. No cable.

The stay was good. We left some baby clothes behind and we notice a couple hours later. Went back to hotel for the staff to say why we took so long to call! That it was not there asked the Housekeepers and they all said nothing was found. They don’t return anything be careful.

The surrounding area was not the best. Run down, closed businesses. The room was cozy and clean. The staff was friendly. There is also a nearby grassy area for your fury friends. There were strong laundry soap smells, incense, and the room smelled of bleech. If you're sensitive you may want to ask for a room not near the loby/laundry area.

While the room appeared clean, only half the lights worked. It smelled very strongly of both Indian food/incense and smoke and marijuana! It gave me a headache and made my daughter ill. Had lots of single men hanging around doors and along balconies. Also a lot of homeless near. We took our luggage in, went to dinner, and came back to check out. Didn't stay, didn't use beds. Told them the problem and asked for a refund, they charged us anyway.

Arrived and they admitted they had my reservation on a room I had prepaid for for 2 nights...but they had no rooms available. While discussing the situation, ANOTHER couple arrived and they had done the same thing to them.Then they tried telling the booking company I had refused a room and would not offer a refund...was later told they would issue a refund, but then they never did. AVOID this Hotel, you have been warned.

Appeared ok. Bed was old fashion spring mattress. Wall unit eventually ran cold. We were woken up multiple times during the night with sounds of animals moving around and digging in the walls. Did not sleep well.

The staff was incredibly kind. I slept comfortably in the bed. I saved alot $ by staying here and it was convenient right off the freeway. Waffle house is Right there, so easy for breakfast

This property was dirty unsafe and the halls smelled of cigarette, and there were people roaming the halls. My room seemed that there had been someone occupying the room even before we opened the door, and there were now locks on the door.

Room horizontal surfaces, sheets and towels were clean. The faucet wasn’t even attached to the countertop. The fridge looked like the frog it on gravel. There was an odd large splashing of something on the was. The shower curtain had paint on it on the same color as the wall. People congregated around the door closest to our room, including smokers and an inebriated woman. It did not feel safe.

The room was dirty. The toilet seat was broken. The bathroom fan was broken. The front desk staff was surly.

When we arrived at 11:30 pm, we were told that they had given away our room. The excuse was that their system crashed. However, the attendant knew my name and the reservation. As of this writing, two full days later, we have not been refunded. Appalling.

This was our second stay at his property. Both times the desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean. They're in the process of updating so there are some issues with that but it's a good place to stay. Close to a lot of Denton life.

The property is an older one, but it is in reasonable condition. The a/c was great, it was clean, and roomy (suite). Tv and other things like that were great too. That neighborhood is full of drifters, grifters, hoods and thugs. I hated going out at night. The entire city is sliding into the toilet; it is full of homeless drifters and drug dealers. What a dump. The hotel pays enough taxes, but the other two hotels next to it are receiving "fed bucks" to house the drifters and druggies. We ran into them in the stairwell and outside, and they were clearly way higher than any human should be. Tell the mayor to clean up his act and his city. Not coming back again.

I called and left a message that we would be a late arrival. Arrived at 11:30 pm and the guy at the night window. Sorry. We have no room for you. I paid for it and left a message about our late arrival. No rooms he said we overbooked. We came for my newphews. “ sucks but we overbooked.” We are elderly and could not find a room in Denton. My daughter managed to find a room that was roach infested but we had no choice. I want my $ back please Experian.

Totally unsafe, will never return. Drug addicts fighting traffic cones in the parking lot, assigning keys to rooms with wide open doors upon arrival. Scary.

We just needed a place to sleep on a quick trip. It’s an older facility but clean. The desk staff were friendly and helpful.

drive up we new we made a mistake. zero parking, next door empty building with homeless people, lobby was locked had to speak to the person through a window, bed felt like we were sleeping on a box springs not a mattress, pillows were non existent. hotel attendant was not helpful at all.

The second lady stated that her sheets were not clean and strands of hair throughout the room. For me, the small safety lock that swings over the small knob was missing, the tv kept flashing stripes across the screen, the tub was stained, and the towels had a bluish tint to them. The lobby and area behind the receptionist desk were jumbled and not what you would expect for the price paid. This was a very disappointing visit and after flying all day and trying to relocate when major events were going on in the area, losing money to spend more money and be inconvenienced even more forced me to choose the lesser of the two inconveniences. Pulling up to the hotel and seeing two picnic tables full of questionable invidivuals outside was the first red flag. The lobby was easily over 80 degrees and smelled terrible. No elevator so after we carried everything to the third floor and found our room, we discovered that the bedding was dirty. Like, you could see hair and body grease on the sheets. The front desk had to go find clean sheets and they didn’t have them in the right size. We ended up just buying our own and taking them home because it was easier than trying to just leave and get a refund. The shower didn’t drain either, so we just waiting until we were at our next location. Super sketchy place. Super nasty. Also, the price it’s listed on Hotels.com is about $40 more than what it goes for a night.

Bathroom in room was not clean, but the rest of the room was fine. Our window was unlocked and slightly open when we got to the room and the safety lock on the door was not fully bolted in. It only had one screw and it was loose and movable so if someone wanted to they could push the door open. The staff was about average, neither friendly nor unfriendly. The check in; and then the check out a little while later, was fairly quick.

NEVER AGAIN!! From check in to check out- yuck!! lobby, halls and room smelled. Told us nothing when we checked in. no breakfast, nothing. Got to our room and there was a hair on the toilet seat, garbage hadn't been emptied, and water pressures from the shower was AWFUL! was afraid to shampoo my hair for fear of not enough pressure to get it out. I dint know how this hotel is still in business.

Let me start with the cons: 1) Room was in a separate building that had outside entrance rather than indoor. No indication it would be that way and I chose this hotel, in part because rooms were inside accessible. 2) the light outside the door was VERY bright and despite the curtain, the room still had far too much light for our liking. 3) check in had to be done by this tiny window where it was difficult to communicate 4) refrigerator made noise 5) all tv had to be viewed through your own, personal streaming accounts and the tv remote didn’t work well 6) very thin pillows 7) NO HOT/WARM water for shower even after 10 minutes Pros: 1) refrigerator worked well despite the bothersome noise 2) clean 3) bathroom was properly stocked Something they can’t control: right off I-35 so the noise from the highway was evident.

The hotel is DIRTY. Feels DIRTY too. No elevator, everything is stairs, so pack light. No accommodations to breakfast or office equipment such as computer or printer. The Indian staff members will stair at you for no reason. The hallways are stink and carpet is gross. Don’t stay here.

It’s a Red Roof Inn. You know what you’re getting. I had no complaints and it served its function.

It was a decent property for our needs. The room ok - the bedspread was nice, but the pillows were extremely flat. The extra door lock for security was missing the bolted portion attached to the door, so there was no way to secure the room other than the electronic - luckily I brought my portable lock.

Stay away from this place. The place smells terrible and staff not helpful at all. They charged my card twice for the same stay and still can’t resolve issue.
