    The property is a busted down former decent travel hotel that has a pool in the back that’s filled in with dirt when I arrive. The elevator was not working and they told me the only room they had was on the third floor and it’s a walk up the lights were not working in any of the stairs to get up to the third floor, but I was exhausted having traveled all day so I did it. There was no blow dryer in the room and the room was hot when I got there, the air-conditioning was not on in the entire hotel building.

    If you don’t care about comfort this is the place for you, the smell in the entryway was very off putting and i was concerned about the state of the room, the room did not smell but was real hot upon entry. The ac would cool the room down, almost too cool then it would shut off and the room would get hot, all night . Too cold then too hot, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the shower had no water pressure which made it difficult to wash. Not the greatest breakfast but there was something to eat.

    Very bad facility! No extra towels/wash cloths available. Room lacked extra tissues; inadequate number of electrical outlets; bed linen dingy; towels stained, exterior grounds & parking lot not maintained. Breakfast inadequate and insufficient amount. No water nor towels available for gym!

    We hated our stay here. First off, tge receptionist Bridgette, was really rude. When we asked for coffee creamer, she only wanted to give us 2, rolled here's at us, saying rude comments and very disrespectful. She should not be working in customer service. Then, our roomgad a gift hole by the bed. Our kids almost fell from it a few times. Breakfast was constantly empty. We had to keep reminding staff to replenish the food. The shower wouldn't work properly. We had to move furariund to plug in the microwave. We would never stay here again

    the pictures on the app are completely different than what it looks like. it’s very scary, the front desk man was very rude and creepy, barely spoke english and couldn’t help us with anything, just kept telling us we’d have to talk to management about anything we asked. we went to our room and when we opened the door it immediately smelled like a dead animal and we just knew it was all around a bad idea to stay there. 0/10 do not stay here, it’s filthy and they have rude staff. i booked the room for 2 nights and couldn’t even get any type of refund.

    The only downfalls that would drop the rating down for me would be the hotels location to restaurants because I typically like to walk to surroundings places for grocery/meal runs, the amenities which were slim to none (with a small gym), and the overall first look at the hotel seemed a bit off putting, but again, the staff was great and it sufficed my 3 days of stay!!

    for the $150 i spent on this one night at this "hotel", i expected more than a $75 motel stay. I have never had as low quality a room for this price in my adult life. first of all, it was in the sketchiest part of Denton i have ever seen. the pics of the property do not tell the story. the mattress cover was disgusting, and i did not find that out until the next morning when the sheet corner had popped off the room was the smallest i have had. there was no chair at the "desk", and only half a chair by the bed. the "closet" was just as lame as the desk. I NEVER ONCE felt safe at this place. a little before 10pm, someone banged on my door like they were going to kick it in. and then when i went to look thru the peephole, no one was there. it was fairly terrifying. the front desk did not answer when i called, but they called back, and told me it was "some kids" they had reports about, which was not very comforting. they told me they would try to talk to the parents, and they never followed up about that... they just left us to our imaginations about it all night. the room was dirty, unsafe, and ruined our evening. NEVER AGAIN

    The room itself was fine. It was clean, though it needed a bit of maintenance, as did the whole place. The staff were friendly for the most part. The folks staying at the hotel were very questionable. There was a fight that occurred on the floor that I was on. It sounded like a girl was kit.

    The staff was nice. The staff was very nice but the hotel was not. The bathroom on the main was out of order. Our blanket had 5 to 6 brown stains on it. We tell the front desk. She brings another. The second blanket has brown stains plus hair on it. The ice machines dont work but on the 1st floor. The vending machines only take quarters and the front desk only took cash because the machine was down. We only stayed one night. If it was more nights we stayed we would've booked another hotel.

    Elevator broke down making 2 seniors climb stairs. However it was fixed by morning. Elevator had trash in it 3 times in a two night stay. Hallways were extremely hot. Room A/C worked very good nice and cool. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly.

    The hotel unfortunately is right by major highway construction right now and was a bit difficult to get to. Our pillows had random blue and black stains on them. My fiancée and I went out and bought new ones to feel more comfortable. Along with the towels had blue stains on them as well. The elevator also was a bit sketchy as it didn’t fully line up with the floor you are getting off one by the time the door opened.

    Definitely not somewhere I’d stay again. Pictures at NOT updated. Property is old and not kept well. Pillows were yellow and flat. Tub dirty. Floor old and gross. We needed a place to stay so it was a safe place to get rest but not somewhere I’d recommend.

    The hotel is outdated and in poor condition. The room had a noticeable mildew smell, and the bathroom door would not close properly. The walls had chipped paint and clearly need repainting. The bathtub was chipped, the bathroom floors were dirty, and the toilet was nearly unbolted from the floor. Additionally, the soda machine was not functioning properly—the drinks were warm and tasted stale. If it hadn’t been so late when I checked in, I would have canceled my reservation and found another hotel.

    Stayed 6 days, room was never serviced except to get trash. Was denied clean towels on 3 separate occasions because they were “out”. Got towels ONCE in my entire stay. Mattress is memory foam is sinks terribly in the middle so it’s the only area you can sleep on it. And the AC is not temperature controlled and goes on and off as it pleases.

    The hotel was nice. Customer service was trash. They act like they don’t want nobody to stay there and it’s a hotel. The lady didn’t wanna give me my deposit back because my son spilled his bottle on the bed. He’s a baby and she was all like I don’t know what that is how would I know what that is and then decided to go further and say you didn’t even pay the full deposit, etc. it was just completely unacceptable.

    I was charged extra for guests. I was not sure who all ways going but whatever. Then, the lady charges me for one room, then another and asks for the remaining balance in cash. WHAT? I’ve never had an experience like this ANYWHERE else. Will never be back.

    Everything was as it should be. No complaints at all, with the exception that the coffee should be stronger! I had a disappointment tho when I stopped for gas and noticed my passenger side had a red sticky substance smeared all over. I noticed the car parked next to me at the hotel, had popcorn, and a smear of red stuff on it! Maybe a wedding prank to them, but I sure didn’t get married! $14.00 later, my car is now clean again. 😪

    Rooms weren't clean, the bedding was dirty. The breakfast was all microwaved food and the biscuits were a little frozen still. The breakfast attendant used the same plate to microwave each item causing cross contamination between items. The microwaved sausage was over microwaved and had burnt together in multiple places. The towels and washcloths were all stained. The staff wasn't very friendly.

    Bed and bathroom was very good and clean. The air conditioning was one of the outside units and it clicks on and off. It is noisy. The building in the outside is not as pictured on their website. It is more run down and older building. I personally will not stay there again. I feel I can get a better quality room for same price elsewhere.

    First of all, I had to give a $50 cash deposit that was never mentioned. Who carries cash? It needs renovation badly. Much darker and very cheap looking so ignore the photos on here. There was a cockroach in our bathroom. The outdated fan system didn’t work so it was hot and stuffy. The elevator was broken. Definitely not even worth the inexpensive price I paid.

    Water was rusty running out of the faucet- very unsafe and gross. It also smelled of rotten eggs. A/C minimally cooled- thankfully it wasn’t too warm outside. Elevator didn’t work. We heard the traffic on the interstate all night from our room. The room was clean, but not very updated. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

    If I could give it no stars I would. This hotel was horrible. From first walking in the lobby there was no ac, the elevator was broken ( you could come down but not go up), the hallways had no ac and the walls were cracking. The room was the worst. The room had a rancid odor I’m not sure if it was the carpet or the ac but it smelled disgusting. I can say that the beds are clean but that doesn’t matter when the bathroom and the room itself smells horrible. Not even a can of Lysol could get rid of the smell.

    We had two rooms, got there one hour early and they charge us $30.00 per room to check in, stated that was a Choice Hotels policy, I have NEVER paid a extra charge if the room was ready for check in. We paid the fee because we had an event to dress for and left. The second Night of the stay we returned late to find the elevator was broken and had to walk up three flights of stairs to find out our keys did not work. Later it took 2 hours for managment to respond to a couple in a room yelling and hitting each other only to allow them to run from the room. A total Night Mare stay. No coffee in the breakfast area at all. NEVER Again

    Not to be rude but this might be the worse hotel we have stayed at. I never do reviews but this one was one I had to sit down and write about the experience. The moment I walked in the facility had no A/C and it had a horrid smell. The way up to the room was not better. It was sticky, dirty, stuffy and smelly. We did not want to stay anymore especially with my children…but all other hotels were booked. We bunkered down but I had to run to buy a Lysol & disinfect everything and re-applied other bed sheets. I’m sorry but it was so bad, by far in the books of worse hotel experience.

    The stay was good and comfortable. Even the breakfast was decent. Then I went back to my room and went to the bathroom to get ready and I saw a roach. I hate roaches! I took everything out of my suitcase, shook everything in my suitcase then repacked. I did not want to bring roaches back to my home. I know this happens sometimes but I probably will never go back there again.

    They insisted we pay $100 cash deposit for incidentals before checking in. I’ve always had a card on file for incidentals but was not going to give them $100 cash. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and never been asked to pay cash deposit for incidentals. And then how does checkout work and getting the money back? We have to wait on them to clean the room and audit it before getting it back?? How stupid is that? So because I wouldn’t pay a cash deposit they cancelled my reservation. Totally unscrupulous and unprofessional business practices.

    Parking was very limited if you arrived after 9:00pm. Air conditioning in the room was either extremely cold or humid and hot. The bathtub was dirty, and when we arrived there were no towels in the bathroom. Had to go ask for them at 10:30pm. Also, there was no remote control in the room. We didn’t really need it the first night, as we arrived fairly late, but the second night we went to the front and asked for a remote, they said they would have to bring one down. They never came, so we never got the tv on or working. Breakfast area is EXTREMELY small, so either you take it to go in your room or hope it’s not very crowded. Overall, I can see why it was one of the cheapest hotels in the area. Not a great experience.

    When I arrived I got told I had to put down a $100 deposit (which I never saw on online when I booked the room). So I told the girl what for. She said if there are any damages to the room etc. I said I didn't have $100 on myself. She said oh there's a ATM right over there. I guess she didn't want me leaving to go get cash somewhere. So I went to the ATM over by the ice machine. I didn't like doing that because it charged me $3.95 to get cash out of there. It would of been better if I was able to leave and go get cash at an actual ATM where I bank so I wouldn't of gotten charged the fee for using theirs. I don't think I would choose to stay at that location again.

    You (or at least I) get what you pay for. Check-in was fine, clerk was friendly and fast. Elevators were terrifying, a lot of jolting, bumping, and very noisey, just sounded old and in bad shape, buttons didnt light up either. The room felt like a converted janitors closet. It was IMMEDIATELY to the left of the elevator which meant it was very noisy in my room anytime anyone used the elevator, whether it was my floor or a different one. The interior was poorly painted with splatters everywhere and the tub was clean but very stained. Everything else was fine. The property is located in a dark area and is not very well illuminated, especially if you have to come in from the back entrance (which you have to do if you arent exiting from the interstate). Overall, it was worth the $86, but I think a few liberties were taken with the word Quality, I think Adequate Inn would be more appropriate.

    From the very first day, the refrigerator in our room was broken. All the fresh food we had just bought—milk, fruits, vegetables—spoiled completely. We reported it to the front desk, but no one came to fix it. The toilet in our room was clogged, and when we told the staff, they said, “The maintenance person won’t come until tomorrow morning, so don’t use the toilet for now.” We asked if we could use the lobby bathroom, but they said it was also out of order. There were no tissues provided in the room either. I had booked a 4-night stay and kept asking if I could get a refund if I checked out early due to all these issues. No one ever responded to me. The room itself smelled like a 30-year-old septic pit. When I asked if I could use the bathroom in a vacant room, the staff immediately claimed, “We’re fully booked.” But the parking lot was nearly empty—it clearly didn’t match what they said.     My stay was fine, but I needed to get back in touch with the hotel when I realized I'd left a couple of items in my room. I referred to my confirmation email and tried that phone number repeatedly,and every single time the call was dropped. I couldn't even leave a message.     This hotel had the worse odor I have ever smelled in my life. It was like a mixture of mildew, mold and musk. Upon check in the room didn’t have any towels in it and the vending machines were all out of order and they had like warm bottles of water for sale behind the counter. Not once during the entire stay did housekeeping check to see if we needed anything. And every night the hotel parking lot had people outside having a party drinking in the parking lot.

    I will say that the breakfast was good! Very limited options, but what they had was good. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building and the room. I chose this of all the cheap hotels in Denton as none of the reviews mentioned seeing roaches. We did see a tiny one in our bathroom, but I contribute that to the heat and humidity, as Denton as a whole has a roach problem vs the cleanliness of the hotel. The area felt very sketchy and I was worried about my car in the parking lot and didn’t see any obvious cameras, but nothing happened and our stay went without hiccup.

    While conveniently located, this property is rundown. The comforter cover on the bed in our room had multiple stain spots. Since w stayed 2 nights, we did not receive maid service; however, when we returned from activities on the second day, our room was open. Someone had entered the room, but it was not maid service.     I like it was close to where my destination was. Dislike the bed was not a queen it was a full, false advertisement. The toliet didn’t flush properly. Fridge didn’t stay cool.     The hotel pictures were not what was in real life. You walked in and it smelled horrible. The elevator was janky so we took the stairs. We had 3 people reserved and for some reason only had two towels, that had stains. The bed sheets/covers had stains on them. Absolutely disgusting. The toilet had a poop stain when we checked in. The next morning we asked for fresh towels and the receptionist seemed aggravated that we wanted fresh towels preferably with no stains. Will never be staying here again.

    My issue was the hospitality of the staff. You would think people in the hospitality business would prioritize this, but I guess not? Maybe it was a cultural difference? I'm not sure, but what I do know is that the staff was cold/ stand-offish, and honestly just kind of rude. Every single day of our stay, our keys would have to be reset because they would stop working. The staff was annoyed with us for asking for towels, and when I went to the front desk to ask again, she told me no, that I had enough towels already (we had 2, and there were 3 of us in the room). The staff was annoyed in the morning with other guests who were requesting breakfast items from the breakfast area. In all honesty, it just seemed like they hated their job at the hotel, like they hated the hotel, and like they hated their life.... that was the vibe they gave off and it sucked! I've worked at a low-rate hotel before; being kind and generous with your clientele and guests costs nothing. That's what makes a difference between a bad and a great experience. That's what ensures people will return again in the future.

    So this place decided to fill their pool which happens to be in the parking lot in with dirt and did not have any kind of warning signs or cones or anything else to let you know. Our vehicle ended up stuck in the pool and the motel manager refused to do anything about the situation to help us out.     For the price, this place is great value! I’ve stayed at this location multiple times and each time, the rooms are very clean and the staff professional and friendly. The rooms have microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker, which is a plus for me. I’ve previously stayed at other hotels within the same vicinity, paying 75-124% more, for the some room equivalent and service. I will definitely continue booking with this hotel/location.

    My experience was a bad one . Number 1 our comforter had a lot of stains on it and we called to get a new one we was told that they didn’t have any clean ones. What kind of hotel doesn’t keep any clean or extra blankets, sheets , towels etc..? Number 2 that elevator seem so out of date . Every time we got to the 3rd floor it would open as it was still moving and make weird noises. Number 3 the bathroom was not fully clean because there was mad hair clippings all on the countertop and sink . Number 4 there was not enough parking. we had to park in the grass at not and that ridiculous! Number 5 why does breakfast end at 9:30 ??? that is kind of early considering some people don’t even get up until pass 9:30.
