Went to check in, and they said they had no rooms even though I had my confirmation. Not helpful and we had to leave at 11:30 at night to find another hotel.

It looked pretty new. The location was awesome for us. We didn’t have to deviate off road at all really. It was really nice. I did however bring up a couple of issues to the front desk about our bathroom though. There was a loose tile in front of the shower that needs to have grout put on it. Also in the shower, there were a couple of places that needed silicone down at the base. I told them doing both of those things would prevent mold and water damage. Plus if not done, if someone in the future could slip because of the loose tile, that they could possibly sue. Not trying to complain, just trying to help.

First of all, the place is beautiful—it smells fresh and feels clean the moment you walk in. I arrived around 1 AM, and Hannah at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, welcoming, and had a smile the entire time during check-in. About 10 minutes after I got to my room, she even sent a text to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was fresh, clean, and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were amazing—I slept so well! And the breakfast was actually really good. The cheese omelets were especially delicious. This was honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever experienced! There was nothing off-putting about this hotel experience.

Breakfast was good and appreciated the early time in which it was served. Stayed three nights. When they cleaned the room for me they resupplied the coffee stand but failed to leave any coffee cup. I was a little concerned by the location of the night stands. I fell out of bed once and hit my eye on the corner of a night stand losing sight in that eye. Would have preferred if stands had rounded corners or some protection over them.

I left some headphones and they claim that they were not turned in, I know they were left on the bed and the covers were over them and I missed them.

No close parking by an entrance. Large truck and trailer taking up 6 spaces nearest to main entrance. Back entrance door not working. Waited 10 minutes to check in. No one at the desk.

Staff was amazing. Front desk was always courteous and friendly. Especially loved the breakfast amenity. Michael was above and beyond courteous. He had the area continually filled, ie coffee, juices, foods…. Tables were spotless. He politely answered numerous questions. He even walked around asking us how we were, if we needed anything. Michael delivered A+ customer service.

Did not see gym and did not come by car

Yes. room was nice and roomy. We stayed for 3 nights. Thought it was weird that our room wasn't cleaned during our stay. We had to go to the front desk to request towels because housekeeping didn't clean. Wastebaskets were overflowing becuase our room wasn't cleaned. That was a big deal for us. Breakfast area was nice and staff was friendly.

We encountered minor hiccups with our stay. However, the staff was very responsive in getting us settled ASAP. All of the staff was very friendly greeting everyone. The rooms and common areas were super clean . The breakfast was great, Michael the gentleman in charge of breakfast was on it ! He made sure everything was stocked and clean. He greeted every guest , this was a different experience compared to other hotels were staff doesn't acknowledge their guest. I'll be back in Denton and will definitely stay here again.

The room was awesome for a short notice stay. They really managed the space well (there were hooks for our backpacks, a bench with space underneath to put our computer bags, etc.). Very clean! The staff was also awesome, very kind and wanted to attend to our needs/questions. I appreciate the stay and will keep in mind to stay again!

The hotel was newly renovated, and the room was very spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and very responsive to our requests. The breakfast service was well prepared and plentiful. The man overseeing the breakfast was very friendly and ensured everyone was well taken care of during breakfast. All my family members enjoyed the stay!

My stay here went well! The room was clean, the area was nice and overall we felt safe. The only thing that was a bummer was the tv didn’t work for our entire stay and they never informed us until after we checked in and asked them about it. Other than that it was good.

We've made quite a few trips to Denton in the past year and this has been the nicest hotel so far. So glad it was within our price range. Nice area, room was clean, staff was very attentive, very quiet. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast or visit any of the amenities but very satisfied overall with our stay.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express seversl time now, it is always a pleasurable stay. The rooms are clean, the front desk staff are friendly and polite. There are several place around to eat, and convenient to highway.

The gentleman who prepared and kept up the breakfast buffet was super friendly and helpful! He went out of his way to make sure that my daughter and I had everything we needed to enjoy a good breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast immensely.

This is our preferred hotel when traveling to Denton for our UNT student. My only complaint this trip was that, despite being gone all day, our room never got cleaned and we had to ask the front desk for fresh towels and almost ran out of TP between four of us.

Close to the interstate so you could hear the traffic in your room…great bed/linens…no cookies though

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with excellent blackout curtains that helped me sleep well. A nice touch: my room came with a small sound machine, which is great if you forget to bring your own. Breakfast each morning was solid, and a big shoutout to Michael, who runs the morning meal like a pro—he truly makes it a highlight of the stay. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my visit. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend asking for an even-numbered room. The odd-numbered rooms face the interstate, and it can get a bit noisy early in the morning when traffic picks up. Overall, this was a great stay. I’d definitely return if I'm back in the area.

Did not complete my stay at this property. Moved to another brand. Unprofessional isn’t even the right word, more like borderline illegal practices and psychotic management. Building is new and beautiful but the people are uneducated, untrained, and WEIRD.

I have stayed at this hotel before. The hotel is clean, and the front desk staff are friendly. It is located near several places to eat, some are within walking distance. My overall stay was very good and comfortable.

The ladies at check in were great. Nice and polite. They even gave us extra towels as soon as we checked without having to request them.

Bright, clean property with a welcoming staff. Very spacious rooms with comfy beds. In a large parking lot with several restaurants, a movie theater and a Bucee's. We'll be returning here often.

Overall, our stay was good. I have a few complaints, there was hair in the shower, there was a constant humming noise coming from the bathroom, the water pressure for the shower was pretty low. and the air conditioner is pretty loud. My husband said when he went to breakfast there weren't many options.What was good, the hotel is by Starbucks, a Cinemark, and several restaurants. The staff were all friendly, the room didn't smell mildewy or smoky.

The hotel can be very nice. However the three nights we were there we never received room service. Each night we had to go to the front desk and ask for towels. The outside in front had hangers on the ground. Staff was good

The stay was great, I got checked-in very quickly and the front desk person was very friendly and helpful. I had a small problem in my restroom, they came and took care of it that same day. The room was very clean and everything seemed to be in working order. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well.

My card was run, and approved, at check in. However, I was told payment was not showing up on their in. I pulled up my account online and showed the receptionist that the charge was appearing in my account. She didn’t want me to have to keep running my card again and again, so we just left it at that, and she was going to look into it. No issues with checking out the next day. Then, I get a call the following day from Jean wanting to run my card again, showing non-payment. I told her the charge was still pending in my account, and I’d like to wait until the next business day to see if it actually posted before running my card for another $300. She wouldn’t listen. She kept talking over me. She told me I was refusing to pay. I let them run my card twice, even though it said approved the first time. I told her I was happy to make sure the bill gets paid, but she would not listen. She was incredibly rude and bullying through the entire conversation. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again, as I see this is how they train their managers to treat patrons. Jean should be relieved from her position. Obviously, she does not have the intelligence or tact to handle situations like this. I’m sad that a nice weekend with my family ended up this way. Do better, Jean. Do better, Holiday Inn.

Great hotel

My stay here was perfect for the situation and a great location to get to and from the university. There was plenty of eatery around it in walking distance and a movie theater near by. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Our first night the water was not hot but they did offer to move us to a different room. Due to being on a tight schedule while we were there we did not move but the water was hot the next day.

We had to change rooms as the first room’s bathroom opening to the air conditioning fan had a continuous howl and you couldn’t stop the sound. The second room smelled awful and reeked of disinfectant cleaning solution as there must have been some stains somewhere. Also the shower had lukewarm water at best. We weren’t impressed with the room as it was average and cleaning was typical for a Holiday Inn. A good note, the front check-in staff were nice and quickly moved us to a different room but that one was just as bad. No refund was offered.

Very nice area

Hotel itself was very clean and the room was very comfortable. I was staying facing towards the highway and it was traffic was very loud. Also, the parking and driveway is not set up well. You can not circle the building and traffic was backing up trying to turn around.

This is recently built hotel. Everything was new, beautiful and well done. The room had a very functional layout. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast could have been better, as the biscuits and bagels were hard. The gravy was good. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

Didn’t quite understand where property was located…not updated online. Actually, was a good location and surrounding area was fine. Close to interstate made it convenient. All Staff I came in contact with was pleasant.

Great hotel! Starbucks, BJ Brewhouse, Chuys and Rodeo Goat all basically in the hotel parking lot! Staff is friendly. Michael, who ran the breakfast area was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed! Will stay again!
