I’m not sure what was up with this place. Seemed like it was being used for section 8 housing.

The entire place stunk, and there were roaches in the cabinets in the kitchen

We arrived to no one at the front desk and a friend of a worker loitering at the counter, I thought checking in also. She was very rude and was at the counter for all of my interactions which were several. I checked in and my husband gathered our luggage. He was suspicious already by the persons he saw in the parking lot and entering the building through other doors. The maid almost ran me Down with the cart at the elevator. Our key did not work so they came to change the reader battery and room was occupied. My husband now decided we could not stay. Our safety was more important than the money we would lose so we checked back out and went to another hotel.

A very run down motel. Beds were uncomfortable and room had a musty smell. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

This is more of an extended stay "I have no other choice" motel. I reserved a room here for my mom and her friend for the weekend and was really disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for. There were people smoking AT the front door so you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to even get in. The hallway, elevator, and room smelled horrible. The fridge in their room smelled like something died. My mother asked for sheets to change the bedding after her 1st night and was told they didn't have any extra by a rude front desk person. To be fair, she could've just been really busy as the front desk is doing everything bunny themselves from what I saw. I really felt so bad for even booking it but it was last minute and in the area I needed. Next time, I'll just book a little further away and pay more. The pictures online are old and do not show this place for what it really is.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this property. You can tell it’s an older hotel but clean. I have payed twice as much for not as nice a room. Will stay here from now on.

The location was great I'm only speaking from My room experience, which it was poor, room was dirt, had cockroaches as well a lingering smell or humidity.

This hotel needs major cosmetic work ASAP. The rooms did not look like they were cleaned properly. The walls were very nasty, the floor looked like it had bird poop on it, we killed 2 roaches in the room, floors didnt look like they had been mopped, the elevator is slow, looks like people are actually living out of there, people sitting outside in their sleeping clothes hanging out. THEN MY MOM ALMOST FELL OUT THE BED BECAUSE THEY HAVE A QUEEN SIZE MATTRESS ON A FULL SIZE BED FRAME LIKE SERIOUSLY SHE COULD HAVE HURT HERSELF. I will never stay there again.

Took almost an hour for someone to come up to the check in desk. Got to the room and asked if I can change rooms. They lied about hotel being sold out. I know because they turned away a couple for being underaged and they were in line before me. And they gave the me the room they were gonna give them. And another worker mentioned in front of that laundry needs to be done better because blankets are stained. Room clean was not done. Seen a roach on the night stand. Was going to record but it ran away into the wall so fast.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. The first night we stayed there someone kept going in and out of the laundry room and it was super noisy. The next day there was a fight between the manager and other employee along with someone’s grandma that the cops had to be called. There’s people always hanging out in the front of the hotel that it makes you feel uncomfortable. There was a roach in the room. Kitchen faucet was leaking, toilet was leaking and as soon as you walk in to the room it smelled like urine. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the funds to go to another hotel and had no choice but to stay.

The room itself was not clean — the floor was dirty, and I even found a teddy bear and a walkie-talkie left behind. On top of that, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Overall, the cleanliness and service did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend staying here.

The staff that we felt with was nice. But they were severely understaffed, which cause huge delays with check in. We arrived in site at 4:30, but we could not get into our room until after 8:30pm.

I was double charged for the room. My receipt states one price for the night. I was billed on my cc a higher price then again an additional charges!! Not happy being overcharged for a bare basic room and then seeing an even higher charge on my cc which should not be there! I called the merchant and no one answers!! I want my money back!!!

the check in room had no sheets, blankets, nor towels. We had some praise God .The Friday nite staff women had a poor attitude. The general manager was very helpful. Yet we were barged in on 3 times by staff yet my boyfriend left the door unlocked. But the staff though the room was empty and they had upgraded us for the linen thing. Over all the room was great. The front desk clerk was not friendly what so ever, there were stains on the walls that could easily be cleaned, the floor felt like it had never been mopped, something sticky on it. The only thing you smelled as soon as you got off the elevator was weed and we had kids with us. I have never had an experience or stayed in a hotel like that before and the worst part is it was a special thing we did for our granddaughters birthday.

This place was incredibly sketchy inside and out. I went to check in and there were about 8 men smoking right outside the front door and it wasn't cigarettes. I went inside and the general manager was a little strange making really weird comments about his service in the military, his divorces and then asked me if I had stayed there before when I told him I had not he said okay well WoodSprings isn't like your normal Hotel you don't get anything fancy here. I should have just left then but it was late and I didn't want to have to find another room you have to have a card to get anywhere in that place even to the elevator once I started walking down the hallway it looked like it had not been kept up in years and when I made it to my floor you could hear nothing but people in their rooms having parties and smoking marijuana. I got to my room on the 4th floor and it was very basic holes all over the walls from where pictures used to be hung and a very outdated cooktop that look like it had not been cleaned in months the bed had a hair from someone on it and about 30 minutes into me being in the room there was a roach that crawled across the floor. I always take my own pillow and blanket so that wasn't a problem I stayed the night and then immediately left the next morning I would never stay there again nor recommend it to any solo female Travelers

The cooktop stove in my room DID NOT work. The linens, I had to take them down to the front desk to exchange them for clean ones. Apparently, housekeeping does not handle that!! Trying to get clean towels was like an act of congress, and you'd be lucky to actually recieve any. We had 1 bath towel each and 1 wash cloth. We only recieved clean ones , 1 time during our 4 days at the property It was absolutely unorganized and well, run by a bunch of clownin ass drunks and I will never give them another

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Fridge was not plugged in when we got there so we had to pull it away from the wall to plug in to be able to use. Bathroom was gross. Walls looked like they had never been wiped. Pillow cases were stained with what looked like old makeup and blood. The ac did not work properly, we had it set on 67 and we still were sweating in our sleep. The other guests were so rude…. Knocking on doors all night, stomping around and yelling all night. When I needed to talk to the clerk at the desk I had to search for her, she was outside smoking with residents. I am not a smoker so the intense smell of cigarettes at the front door is nauseating. This hotel is probably ok for men traveling for work, not an ideal stay for a woman and daughter to stay and feel safe. Will not be staying here again.

Check in was said to be at 3pm, upon arrival, at 4pm, there was still about 20-40 minute wait and it wasn’t advised in a polite way, just rudely asked why, were we in a hurry, which we actually were so just disappointed with the service overall. Won’t book there again. We’ve stayed at other woodsprings suites and had a pleasant experience but this was not the case.

The lady checking us in was pleasant. However, that is where it ends. We walk to our room and you can see the hallway floors haven't been cleaned. When we opened the door to our room, there was no bedding on the bed. Only a mattress and a frame. Plus, the room smelled of a couple different things. We turned right back around and checked out.

Couldn’t find reservation. Blamed everything on a 55 room reservation by a large company. Found us a room but it was dirty and the bed had been slept in. Clerk said she’d clean it for us after she finished her cigarette. Requested a refund and found a room elsewhere.

I stayed one night and it was the worst night of my life! There was only one light in my room that worked then someone came into my room after 1:00am! With a key!!! They double booked my room. It was scary and my couldn’t sleep. The person working assured the hotels.com that the GM would return my money! THEY DID NOT!!!! I slept 2 hours. I am disgusted with the GM at Woodspring!! Do not stay there!!!!

Dirty, roach infested

Waiting 10 minutes for the front desk to attend us. And room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hours after check in time. Also we were in the room less than 30 mins before seeing 2 roaches.

Typical of low-priced rooms - lots of folks wandering around smoking and chattering and getting high. But it was clean and affordable and didn’t feel unsafe or anything.

This hotel is an absolute scam, and I’m furious about their shady practices! I booked a room through what I later realized was a fraudulent third-party site. As soon as I noticed the issue—literally within 10 minutes of the booking—I contacted the hotel directly to cancel and request a refund. Despite explaining the situation and providing proof of the scam, they flat-out refused to refund me, claiming their “policy” doesn’t allow cancellations, even for fraudulent bookings!

"Roach Haven" - Scheduled for 3 nights at Woodspring-Denton. Saw a roach day one & reported it to front desk (clerk said she'd tell the manager). I asked if they had any spray and was told no. This didn't seem logical to me if you know, you have roaches. A few more roaches began to show themselves. Day two, spoke to the mgr that morning to confirm the incident at which time he logged it in a book and indicated pest control would be out that day. I asked a different clerk for some insect spray ... she gave me a can of spray (hmmm ... very odd since I was told they didn't have any the day before). I sprayed the room. Pest control didn't make it out until the next morning at 8:20. They sprayed and the roach fest(ival) was on ... as the insecticide drove more of them out of hiding. This made for an edgy time ... the pinnacle of which was when a roach crawled on one of us that night as we were sleeping. Shaking my head. Throwing up my hands.

Roaches in the room I had, which made it hard to try and sleep when it stormed the rain was pouring through the window into the AC unit dogs shouldn’t be allowed due to the excessive barking and dog hair pushed into the corners of room…. And someone knocking on the door in the middle of the morning is very unnecessary especially when you’re sleeping that pissed me off!!!! Outdated everything, only thing that was decent and clean was the laundry room…. The mattress was horrible I woke up with bad back pain…… There’s your review

My experience at WoodSpring Suites was very disappointing. The manager displayed a poor attitude and was dismissive when I raised concerns, which set a negative tone for the stay. Staff also knocked on my door and woke me up without reason, which was disruptive and unprofessional. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get proper rest. Guests frequently smoke right in front of the entrance, forcing you to walk through clouds of smoke just to get inside the building, which is unpleasant and unhealthy. On top of this, the room was not thoroughly cleaned, and the overall environment did not feel welcoming. For the price, the level of service and comfort fell far below expectations. I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be staying again.

Had roaches in room

The whole experience was terrible. I did not end up staying here because the staff was too rude. I was hung up on multiple times. They're "manager" had no customer service skills. Whatsoever, you could clearly hear the fact that she hated her job in her voice.

I just love my room all the way around I was at economy Inn and suites. It was horrible. They had roaches and the front desk. People are very rude…. Here I have a little kitchenette the bathroom my room is more modern up-to-date and clean, especially since I have to be here until my apartment is ready 10 out of 10.

Never have I had the worst experience. They did not honor my reservation. I told that they did not have a reservation. That their computer was slow. No one to let me in. Stranded alone in a town I had never been in. At 2:30 in the morning. Bill was $78.38. My first time using expedia.

Truly not that bad, you get what you pay for, for $60 a night you get a clean bed and room and decent bathroom. Only thing is that there were people wandering outside, but besides that, it's fine.

I liked the darkness of the room we stayed in and the ease of check in. We didn't like the fact that there was no breakfast or blow dryer.

expedia used this hotel to do bait and switch, they offered this hotel $200 lower then everyone else and overbooked it, then when customers called back, they sen them to motel 6, the wirst hotwl intoen

We booked a room with this property and upon arriving they informed us that they had no availability due to flooding on the property. They never called to inform us of the cancellation and so we had no where to stay after driving 6 hours. They did not suggest any alternative locations and it was extremely difficult to find availability elsewhere as it was a busy weekend for the area and most places were at capacity. We did not stay at this location, however, we still cannot recommend it based on their lack of service.

The elevator looked like it had never once been cleaned. There was a half eaten nutrigrain bar laying in the hallway. The window was completely taken off and set on the ground propped up against the wall. The shower was dirty, there was wadded up toilet paper behind the toilet, the sink was broken, the room reeked of cigarettes, and there were multiple dead bugs. The room overall was just disgusting. Checkout was at 11 but we were woken up at 9:45 by a man banging on our door. The same thing happened to our friend in another room and when he didn’t answer the door the guy just walked right into his room and asked him if he was staying another night. I have never smelled so many horrible different smells than walking through the hallway to our room. We put our leftover food in the fridge and when we woke up this morning nasty brown water had leaked all over the box. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The check-in was OK. The place looks nice from the outside but the inside was run down & stunk. The elevator was dirty & the smell from pot/cigarettes was apparent. I booked a Non Smoking Room but it apparently had been smoked in & stunk! Horrible cleaning job, they made the bed & replaced the towels & that's about it. They left a used bar of soap in the bathroom floor with some trash. The floor has probably never ever been mopped. We noticed that right off the bat because our shoes seemed greasy underneath when we walked in. It was more apparent when I jumped in the shower from walking from my bed barefooted and saw all the dirt come off my feet in the shower. The room had No Trash can anywhere. I talked with management twice about bring us a trash can. And they promised twice to get us one, it Never happened! They beds are hard as a rock too. I won't ever stay at this hotel again.

Check in is advertised at 3pm. We had to wait until after 4pm as they were still cleaning rooms. The TV didn’t work. However, for the low price, the room and amenities are totally worth it if you plan to just stay overnight or weekend. Had a full kitchen, toilet and shower have good water pressure. It’s a clean hotel.

The key-accessed door to enter the building was not operating properly. The hallways leading to the room smelled like urine. The room was not clean - there was a roach in the room and there was some hair on the counter and in the sink. After all of this, we did not feel safe staying in that hotel.

Maid service every 2 weeks and smells like cigarettes and weed. Noisy especially at night and no customer service from the front desk. Pillows are flat and you have to beg for new towels! Never going back there ever again!!! For that price I would have thought maybe you would have a better experience with a coffee maker and breakfast in the morning!

The girl answered she told me she wasn't on the property but ahe appeared. She claim she was calling cop and said the cop eas pulling up. But when i left on ly uber we road around the property and there was cop. . I am not sure if the guy went in my room or roaming the property.. i felt like they didn't take the seriously.. i will never stay here again.. Mot trying bring roaches to my residence

Checking me in and giving me my keycard. She also failed to mention the elevator was broken, instead i stood there until one of the other guests told me. Taking the stairs to the third floor I was greeted with a cockroach infested room. During my stay I saw probably two dozen live ones, about half of those were baby roaches so probably a bad infestation, and over a dozen dead ones. There were dead roaches in every corner, under the bed, in and under the sink, around the bathroom…they were all over. The refrigerator occasionally buzzed so loud the next room could probably hear it.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Shower was clean, water was hot. Heater/AC unit worked good. Staff was nice and helpful. The only issue we had was a pests issue. I went and got my own spray and just sprayed. Cleared it up for the nights we stayed. No big deal. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

It was actually terrible. For one thing the elevators were broke meaning I had to take 3 flight of stairs which isn't a big deal except for the door closest to my room the handle is broken so you either had to put the rug where the door wouldn't shut or go in through the other door at the other end. I saw a few bugs one came out of the microwave after I cooked my phone so I threw it away. I stepped in dog crap 2 days in a row and the second day it was on both shoes bc instead of guests walking their dogs to the dog park they let them crap all out by the sidewalk where guests are parked including my truck and it's everywhere. I'm very very upset. And they have no breakfast or drinks nothing. 1 roll of toilet paper.

The room was not clean at all. But you get what you pay for. The area and outside of the hotel were not a safe area in my opinion. For me it was fine but I wouldn’t recommend that you stay there with your children. One female outside the hotel told me that she was almost kidnapped by several men the night before.

I never thought i could be in this position. I was robbed in my sleep. They had to have come while i was sleeping or in the shower they took my card and got all my money out of my account.

Basic, no frills room, for a fair price.

All the sheets was dirty on the bed then we asked thr front desk for clean sheets she gave us more dirtier aheets with black stuff all over them... The mattress pad had red spots all over. Then there was roaches in the bathroom. Then next more the front desk lady came in the room and seen how nasty the sheets was and said the manager will refuse to give a refund if it was for us findint a roach in the room... people had kids int that loactuon and the words that came ou the staff mouth was disgrace i still have not receive a call nor my refund that horrible experience

The table in the room was covered in old food. There were roaches in the bathroom and the small kitchen area. There were big beetle like bugs on the floor by the bed.

When I started have difficulty locating the hotel, I told myself “cheap commodities are not always cheap!” Eventually I located the hotel and promptly I was checked in. Based on reviews, I was looking for everything to confirm the impression I already have of the facility. Surprisingly, everything looks clean, no bad smell except in the elevator, where I perceived some kind of unpleasant odor. In the room, I opened everything possible for signs of roaches but everywhere looked clean. Then checked the bed and found some hair strands, I don’t know if they were human or animal hair, I call front desk and my room was changed. Though in the new room, the intercom was dead but overall, I think the services was worth the price. I hope the present management will be allowed time to consolidate on the good work done so far. I book a room arrived to check in and was told room was not clean yet come back later when i arrived back they told me they were over booked and had no room for me. Very rude dirty place.

Small insects in the bed room and in the bath room…. I’ll never come back, don’t go there!!!

Floor was not clean. There are a lot of roaches everywhere!

When we arrived in the room, the beds looked like they had been slept in. I notified the front desk and was advised "that is just how the beds were made." There was writing all over the wall. Most likely a child. And reaches in the room.

We stayed Thursday through Sunday checked out Sunday first night there we had to move rooms thankfully someone was at the desk we tried to call but phone in the room doesn’t work we had no hot water in first room second room we moved to wasn’t bad except the next morning when we got up I killed 2 roaches just while trying to brush my teeth and wash my face that night we returned and killed 2 more roaches if everywhere else wasn’t so dang expensive we would have left that morning

Whole hotel smelled like marijuana, toilet and sink were broke, also didn’t get issued a refund

The outside looks nice but when you get to the room it’s trash. Roach infestation is so bad there were new born roaches all under the bed I wish I could link the video here for you all to see. Book at your own risk. I didn’t even stay the whole night as soon as I saw them I left.
