Reviews
The Marriott DTC is a well-maintained hotel with friendly and accommodating staff, conveniently located near a variety of restaurants. However, guests have expressed frustration with unexpected fees, such as parking and breakfast, and some have experienced issues with room cleanliness and maintenance.

The hotel was quite clean, and the front desk staff who assisted me during check-in was exceptionally friendly. I do wish they offered a complimentary breakfast for all guests or, at the very least, provided a microwave in the room. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay, and I particularly appreciated the security features in the elevators.

Thank you

Great location, so many food options in walkable distance! Hotel has great amenities!!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful. The room I had booked didn’t have a microwave, I’m not sure if all the rooms were like that but having a microwave would’ve been nice.

The location was great! Close to the mall and restaurants for shopping. The coffee machine in the rooms were outdated and the coffee was not good. Had to go to the lobby and buy coffee. The coffee shop was delicious though.

Hotel was okay, location is great. Pricing was pretty good. Couple issues was we booked 1 king bed but after we checked in and got to your room, we ended up with a room with 2 queen beds. One of the outlets was broken in between the beds. A couple lamps lights were flickering, could tell they needed new light bulbs. The amenities it offered were excellent. Breakfast is not free like most hotels I been to.
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful and very clean! Only thing my mom and I didn’t care for was the restaurant. Both times we went for brunch we did not stay. We’re breakfast people so when we found out breakfast ended at 11, we were bummed. The next day we went by for lunch and they told us they couldn’t take our order until 11:45 because the kitchen was backed up due to it being really busy for breakfast.. Mind you, we got there right at 11 again.. We never stayed to try the food.

We always stay here when coming to Denver. Don't have the hassle if traffic. The hotel is very clean, beds are great, shower is wonderful, staff is always helpful. Restaurant on site is really good. Also have a little canteen shop although I wish it stayed open longer.

Unfortunately, I was charged more that the confirmed reservation price including tax and fees and found it very difficult to talk with a human being to find out why?

Housekeeping needs to do better. Not friendly, didnt leave behind enough towels or fresh glasses. And only restocked a few things(which I had to ask for ) at coffee center. The hot tub was nice, but seems like 2 jets were broken- they sprayed upwards out of the water. The gym was good. The hotel was full of people but it was quiet mostly. Coffee/snack bar was good - pricey though. Bad idea to have to show your room key when Leaving the parking..a hassle and didn't always work on the first try. There was dog poo all over the sidewalk on the side entrance. It was there before we arrived and some was still there by the end of our stay(6days). Not fun constantly trying to avoid poop. The hotel need sto have signs for dog owners or better yet Dont allow dogs to stay there We are Marriott Bonvoy members and ridiculous that you have to be cobalt etc to enjoy the M lounge. Also ridiculous that you charge $40 if your not in that tier. Whats the point of being a member if we get no perks - even water in room was $6 a piece. I belong to Beat Western Rewards they give a whole bag of snacks and drinks to all BW members. Maybe Marriott needs to take a note from them

Everything here was great! It’s clean, smells good, friendly staff, great food, and overall pleasant!

Only 2 bath towels; needed to call for a vanity mirror; outside windows need cleaning.

The location was good, lobby looks good. Wifi $14,95 per day, unless you join their loyalty program. Loyalty is build by behavior, not by a program. Room was outdated, uncomfortable beds
- 5/5
I liked that my conference was at the hotel, easy check-in process, everything was clean, daily cleanings, needing key cards to get to the room levels, breakfast was really good, and meals provided by the hotel for the conference were delicious! My friend had her car broken into in the parking lot the first night.

Our favorite hotel!
- 5/5
Favorite place to stay when Im in Denver.
- 2/5
It was a room for 4 people, we asked for a two bed street, we were given a one bed with a sofa. There was no extra pillows or blankets for the sofa, the room was not cleaned properly and we had the maintenance lady try to open our door at 6am on our departure date.

Staff were really kind, helpful and attentive

This property is NOT worth the expensive price for one reason. No complimentary breakfast. Plus they dropped a $50 per night deposit on me at check in. Which kind of made the breakfast missing a big deal for the 3 kids I had with me and I. I do NOT reccomend this location at all.
- 5/5
Clean nice hotel, pool was a little meh but the kids liked it.
- 5/5
Easy to get to and perfect for a short weekend stay. Breakfast was good
- 4/5
The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-kept, and the staff we interacted with were pleasant. There happened to be a large dance competition during our stay, and it really impacted some of the amenities. The pool and hot tub were completely packed, which was disappointing for our kids. The indoor pool is also on the smaller side, so it didn’t take much for it to feel overcrowded. Parking was another downside. They charge $20 per night, which they are very upfront about, but for that price, covered parking would be a reasonable expectation, especially in Colorado. A snowstorm rolled in overnight during our stay, and the lot wasn’t cleared at all, making for a messy and inconvenient walk to the car at 11am. If covered parking isn’t an option, better lot maintenance would go a long way. The room itself was fine, clean and comfortable, but nothing particularly memorable. One odd experience: there was a silent auction set up in the lobby. I placed a bid on an item and was the only bidder when we left Sunday. The sign said “auction closes Sunday,” but didn’t specify which Sunday, and I never heard anything afterward. Not a big deal, but a bit confusing and felt poorly organized. Overall, it’s a solid hotel, but between the overcrowded amenities and parking issues, it didn’t fully meet expectations for the price.

Room was clean! Staff was great. Only complaint is the pay to park. But other than that it was great.
- 3/5
Only stayed because my daughter's competition was here. This place needs an overhaul. I arrived at check in time and still waited 40 minutes for a room. The room was hot even though my AC was set at 66. The shower has poor pressure and the drain was slow. The elevators were constantly out of order. Trash in the hallways and overflowing by the elevators constantly.

Hotel was very nice. Room was spacious & front desk was very helpful

Clean room, desk staff was lovely, nice to have a Starbucks on site, easy parking (but you do have to pay to park), and easy to navigate the area.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room.
- 3/5
We were charged for parking although we didn’t use it, also charged for WiFi even though we followed instructions to get the free WiFi.
- 4/5
Staff at front desk super friendly
- 4/5
Happy to check in early. The food was expensive but quality. Here for a convention and couldn’t use the bathrooms after checking out but still at the convention.
- 5/5
Staff were all very helpful! Housekeeping was excellent. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!!
- 4/5
Nice hotel, cold breakfasts, pleasant staff

- 5/5
Perfect place to stay.
- 5/5
Room was clean and smelled pleasant and not dated. Room was serviced daily and didn’t have to call for towels or anything else. Fridge didn’t get cold but that’s the only issue so otherwise it was an Excellent stay!!
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was amazing
- 4/5
Clean. Food was good at restaurant. Pay additional to park? Crazy. Should be a given.
- 3/5
All good until we arrived back after midnight and the gates told us our entry had expired. Frustrating Inconvenience when we're charged for parking.
- 5/5
The only negative I have is that we had my son, who lives in Denver, drop us off and pick us up because the Marriott charged $20 per night for parking, even though there was ample parking there. I think for members it should be free. If we ever have a car I think we’ll stay at a different hotel. Because most hotels in the area have free parking.
- 2/5
Despite complaining about the faulty AC in my room I had to endure 75+ degree room with a noisy, faulty system making for a terrible night sleep
- 5/5
Not enough luggage carts
- 5/5
Everything was nice and clean and compfortable.
- 4/5
Good people, great help
- 3/5
Great spot and excellent amenities but the room was way too hot. We could not get it to cool. We didn’t even use our blankets. Once we bought ourselves a fan it was better. Clean overall and great staff.

The check in staff was extremely friendly, and the room was big and spacious.

The location is great, and the common areas are nice following the recent renovation. It's hard for them to compensate for the low ceilings and dark hallways. Plus, they put me in a room on the 2nd floor that overlooked a large roof. Pretty uninspiring. Bathrooms were fine. I had an Xpedia deal, so it made sense, but I probably wouldn't pay full price to stay at this hotel. Also annoyed that they have two large outdoor parking lots and charged me $20/night for parking. I hate being nickel and dimed like that.
- 5/5
🙂
- 5/5
I’d recommend and stay there again
- 1.5/5
A/C wasn't working properly flud in 11 floor
- 4/5
Check-in staff did not explain parking very well and directions to the elevator. We walked around for 10 minutes looking
- 4/5
I was not aware of the $20 per night parking feel. On a weekend? Nobody is in the offices nearby. I don't like that - it feels like Vegas. Also, my car got backed into in the parking lot.
- 5/5
All was fine with one slight issue. My room was a handicap room and the carpeting leading edge was fraying and the carpet tacks were exposed and i stepped on one, It was nothing serious . Probably due to wheelchairs rolling over the area. I reported it and was assured it would be fixed immediately after i leave.

Marriott has no interest beyond fleecing each customer to the best of their ability. Value is no longer any part of their equation.
- 5/5
Great room and friendly staff
- 5/5
Wifi wasn’t complimentary, can’t remember the last hotel that I’ve been in that doesn’t have free wifi for everyone.
- 3.5/5
I didn’t receive any of my deposite back . The only thing that subtracted was a parking fee of 20 dollars .
- 5/5
Very nice and beautiful
- 5/5
This hotel was conveniently located. It was very clean, amenities were great. Would recommend and stay again when in Denver.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable and tidy
- 5/5
The centre felt very comfortable and we really liked that the areas in the lobby had comfortable spaces with the gift store: Starbucks: Restaurant: pools and sauna: The staff was very accommodating when we checked out to keep our luggage and provide us with a pool access card; for we had an evening flight So that was a big bonus for us. We would definitely stay again if we travel to Denver again
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Long walk from parking to hotel, parking not covered. No continental breakfast.
- 3/5
Room and hallway qNot vacuumed well. Bad odor in room.
- 4/5
Would go again.
- 5/5
Beds were comfortable, good location. Carpet in hallways needs replacement
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Great restaurant. Friendly staff Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again
- 1/5
They charge for parking and internet and other small things typically included in rates. So you think you’re getting a super deal on a room but you’re not. They also don’t have a bathtub.
- 1.5/5
The rooms seemed clean When we arrived there were hundreds of children all ages running around the lobby and halls. The staff was rude and caused me to have a major panic attack as they did not relay that a pending charge of $150 would be added to my card so they kept trying my card despite my using my travel card that I had not moved money into as when I asked if they were charging the card they both answered with “NO” I told them I needed to get out of the lobby so I could try to figure out what was happening with my card and they just stood there and looked at me as I was an invonbience to them!! I asked if I could go to my PRE PAID ROOM and I was DENIED! I stated I was going to have a panic attack and need a quiet space to figure everything out as they were no help and they again refused to give me my key. So I had to walk out crying to my hot car after a 7 hour drive. I was exhausted, tired, full of panic, and was never offered any accommodation to help me despite my room being fully paid for at this facility!!! I will never stay here again. Between so many kids at a conference who were so loud and bumping into guests trying to check in and the rude unhelpful staff my daughter’s graduation from DU was almost ruined for us.
- 5/5
Great place....business oriented...
- 5/5
Bed was comfy and the room was spacious. It had everything I needed.
- 4/5
Great property for business and leisure travelers
- 1/5
Terrible staff that charged my card $450.00 without telling me the amount
- 5/5
This property never fails! My go-to place to stay!
- 5/5
The hotel was great and modern. I loved that you were able to eat at a restaurant or have a cup a coffee at Starbucks if you didn’t want to leave the hotel. There were so many great amenities when staying there. The only issue I had was that there wasn’t any complementary breakfast/coffee for those mornings you want a light breakfast. Other than that it was a great stay.
- 5/5
Everything super clean staff is friendly restaurant was great. Parking was secure overall experience very safe and how a Marriott should be.
- 5/5
It was amazing stay
- 1/5
The hotel did not have the 2 queen bedroom and also did not help to make any arrangement to upgrade. Also, Internet was also charged at $ 16 per device.... Hard to believe
- 5/5
Great hotel! Easy to get in and out of.
- 5/5
Clean and modern. Comfy beds.
- 4/5
Our room was dusty and there was dog food on the carpet.
- 4/5
Clean
- 5/5
I enjoyed our stay thanks.
- 5/5
Great stay but parking was confusing and the gate was not working
- 3/5
This was a good and comfortable hotel, but it’s quite old. The carpet on the floor had been worn out and coming off. The sliding door had gaps so outside person can see what inside person is doing in the washroom. But there is no smell of old walls or carpet or furniture. Quite comfy at a reasonable price.
- 5/5
You have to pay for WiFi and Parking
- 3/5
I did not like that there was not a lifeguard or staff on duty at the pool to monitor guests. Too many families treating the pool as the if there’s no one else there. Cannon balls, wrestling, running , throwing footballs all in the pool. Very unsafe and annoying. I couldn’t even use the pool during a heatwave.
- 4/5
Have stayed here many times, always an excellent experience
- 5/5
great place to stay
- 5/5
Very nice hotel to stay at while at DTC. Great bar.
- 5/5
Excellent staff and dining option onsite was perfect.
- 5/5
Very friendly and officiant staff.
- 3/5
Expected a little more from our stay here. Our room was a little warm even after setting the temperature to the lowest setting. No outside food and drinks allowed but the market to buy food and drinks was closed. Likely won’t be staying at this location again.
- 5/5
Excellent experience
- 4/5
It was nice
- 4/5
Great and beuatiful hotel. Wish they served coffee in the morning and provided more waters . They also do have ev chargers on the side of the building which Is great. I would definitely stay at this hotel again
- 4/5
Hallways had small pieces of trash left in it, paying for outdoor parking ( with no other choice) stunk
- 5/5
The gym was excellent with great equipment. The room was a great size and very comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Booking via expedi as part of our flight & car rental, we did not catch there would be $20 a night parking, Expedia should of clearly disclose that and included that into the cost of the stay. Also since we did not book directly with the hotel, internet was $14.95 per day, however if we had boojed directly with the hotel it would of been complimentary as a Marriot Member. A perk we missed out on, we only used it for one night on one device.
- 3/5
The property was great. The person checking me in was standoffish. I wasn’t offered any water like she did to the person behind me. I didn’t get any information about breakfast, the restaurant or any of the amenities (gym, ice, pool hours etc.) I guess that’s what I get for booking the same day
- 3/5
Won’t stay at this hotel no more. I refuse to pay $20 dollars for parking fee! That’s ridiculous
- 5/5
The stay was AMAZING!
- 5/5
Rooms were awesome as usual
- 5/5
The room was comfortable, but didn't have a microwave. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Employees were professional and kind.
- 5/5
Great Property to stay at!
- 4/5
The only issue I had with the property was the AC in the rooms. It was quite warm. The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was with the air conditioning in the rooms; despite setting the thermostat to its lowest temperature, it remained a bit too warm for my comfort. However, this small inconvenience pales in comparison to the hotel’s many wonderful qualities. The experience is truly fantastic, and having stayed there several times, I can confidently say I will continue to return again and again. Beyond that, the Hotel is fantastic, and I have stayed there several times and will continue to.
- 5/5
Nice place! Would recommend
- 2/5
We couldn't believe it was 4 stars hotel. Room was small, with a very small bathroom. Carpet in the room had snags everywhere. When we got to the room the door wasn't shut. Hotel charges 6USD for a bottled water in the room. Also there's no free coffee for the guests anywhere around the lobby area. There is a starbucks instead. Common areas are dirty, carpets need to be vacuumed. They also charge 20USD for a parking which is also pretty ridiculous. We got the room for a pretty good deal, but it didn't meet our expectations.
- 5/5
Love the gym, rooms, bar and helpful staff
- 5/5
Great property
- 4/5
Parking is a little frustrating, the parking spots are so tiny so it was like every other space was open so all the cars had room to open their doors. The parking ticket station messed up frequently. The food, drinks, and Service at Pint Brothers are wonderful. The prices are up there but is worth it. Since the water bottles in the room are not complementary ($6 each) I stashed them in the cabinets, apparently since they weren't back out on the counter when we left housekeeping assumed we took them and charged to our room. Ugh. I was able to call and dispute the charge, but it frustrated me they didn't check in the cabinets. Overall, this is a great place to stay, we will return.
- 4/5
It was a great place to stay
- 5/5
This property is fantastic! The common areas are clean with updated furniture. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The on-site bar/restaurant had great tasting appetizers and entrees. The room was spectacular. Clean with modern appliances and comfortable beds. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Excellent place to stay
- 4/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
This place is really well maintained, and the whole process of checking in and out is extremely smooth. I would recommend staying here to anyone.
- 5/5
Will absolutely be staying here again when we are in the area!
- 4/5
The bedding is really uncomfortable Scratchy sheets, lumpy pillows
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay!
- 5/5
Amazing venue for daughter dance convention! Kind and welcoming staff, comfortable room and beautiful hotel! No complaints
- 4/5
The staff was lovely as well as all the amenities. The room itself was also very nice. The rooms were quite warm and it was hard to adjust the temperature and some of the towels had hair stuck in them that weren’t removed during cleaning.
- 5/5
It was great.
- 4/5
Unfortunately, the fridge froze all of our fresh food, it became inedible and had to be thrown out. The closet had a really bad smell, unable to hang any cloth in there and then we had an issue with the door lock. Otherwise it was ok…
- 5/5
On Saturday we went to Boulder Colorado to the football game at Folsom Field. CU Buffs won. The stadium was rockin from start to finish. We sang happy birthday to Ms Peggie. The atmosphere was electric. Hanging with friends back in Denver was awesome. Spiritually refreshing backdrop of the most beautiful mountain scenery. Fresh air and good people. What a lovely way to spend a weekend with the woman I love. We’ll do this again next year.
- 1/5
The stay was disappointing. Prior stays were great however this time the rooms AC was broken and when I returned home I had almost $100 in random charges that I did not charge. I was told to take my “folio” to my bank and have them credit me..not how it works! Won’t be staying here again
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay.
- 2/5
I would not recommend this Marriott hotel. The customer service was definitely subpar. The front desk staff never seemed to answer the phone.
- 5/5
Great stay! Indoor pool is great and love the restaurant and Starbucks on site in the lobby
- 1/5
If the room is connected to another room, there is 0 sound proofing. Heard everything going on next door at midnight. Lady at the front desk was rude when we asked for a discount. A no is fine, but being rude is unnecessary.
- 4/5
Despite being close to the interstate, the room and property were enjoyably quiet. And the poblano queso dip served at Pint Brothers ale house is an absolute must to add to any patron's order.
- 5/5
We are retired and travel to Denver frequently. Frankly, LODO is a dumpster fire. Dirty, scary, and an area we now avoid (we’ll leave the political discussion for other to take on). We love the tech center and this hotel. Lots of great shopping, wonderful restaurants, and we feel safe walking around.
- 5/5
Everything
- 4/5
I was only there for a night but I enjoyed my stay. The price was very reasonable and the bed was extremely comfortable!
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and amazing. My son read where the maximum cost for a Standard room was $529.00/ night. We were able to score the rate for $440.00 for two nights. Secure parking costs $18/day, but you can sign up for the Bonvoy program and get your parking comped. The place was beautiful and clean. The area on the hotel side of the bridge was nice. A short walk across the bridge gives you access to Belleview Light Rail station which can transport you all over the surrounding area. We were here for the Broncos vs Steelers game and had a blast. Thank you. I didn't take pictures of the Hotel, but it was up there with one of the nicest properties I have ever had the privilege of staying.

Staff was friendly from arrival to check-out. The hotel is nice with good dining options and a nice fitness center.
- 5/5
Good spot and exactly what it should be

Not at all similar to the pictures shown. Was also fooled by the 4 star review which is what made us feel comfortable booking. Never again as soon as we arrived, dirty floors in our room stains on our bedsheets and one dirty ac vent working in the bathroom.
