The property was in an excellent location and we were able to walk to downtown Durango and the train station in 10 to 15 minutes. The staff was exceptionally friendly and informative and gave excellent suggestions regarding restaurants and places to visit or tips when visiting. I will stay there again if ever in Durango.

Soap dispensers are on the side of tub/shower and are in the way. Could have been at end opposite shower head and would have been totally out of the way.

Staff Is very friendly and accommodating. Parking area is close to very entrance and well lit. Room was clean, roomy and the tv was large and in HD. Breakfast in the morning had multiple hot and cold options.

They did not change the sheets from the previous guest, i can assure this because i found a teeth retainer in my bed. I let them know and manager didnt bother to contact me about the incident.

Great service upon check in and check out. Leaving early had to wait on eggs when they ran out. Clean breakfast area. Everything else well stocked for breakfast.

The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and courteous. Durango wasn't on our original vacation plan, but due to Mesa Verde NP being closed from Govt shutdown, we decided to drive the Million Dollar Hwy. The Fairfield Inn and Suites Durango ended up being a great stay, that was very close to downtown shopping, restaurants and museums. We would stay here again, and recommend to anyone staying in the four corners, Mesa Verde, southern CO area.

Wonderful staff and well maintained hotel.

The hotel was clean and new looking. The staff is really nice, warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the breakfast and we used the pool and the hot tub which were directly across from the elevator, which was super convenient. The only thing we didn’t like was that it was supposed to be 4/10 of a mile From the train station and it was not… so, not within walking distance so we had to drive.

There could be more than one person preparing the breakfast. It took about 30 minutes to get breakfast out after the first batch ran out. The prepper was very overwhelmed (understandabley)

You were out of orange juice 3 days in a row and on 3rd day you were out of cranberry leaving only apple.

Lobby coffee was very weak on last day of stay (Wednesday), every single caraff container! Room’s bathroom needs vent fan.

While the hotel itself is very nice, the breakfast experience, in my opinion, was the worst I’ve ever had in any hotel ever: ex: No hot water for oatmeal; no knives for butter; no milk. For me personally, I will not stay at this hotel again.

We have stayed at this hotel for a number of years, since it was new. It has deteriorated and needs work. I used to enjoy the breakfast but no more.

I cannot say enough bad things about my stay here. First the air conditioner in the room would go off every two or three minutes and it was so loud that you couldn’t sleep. I eventually had to shut it off to rest. Second, I was on the other side of the kitchen, preparing breakfast and at 3:30 in the morning somebody starts coming moving stuff, banging stuff against the wall. Not to mention the light pollution in the place and the rather hostile reception from one of the receptionists. I cannot tell you how bad my stay was at this place. I was there two nights and slept very little both nights.

Our daughter had a soccer tournament for Mother's Day weekend '25. Our stay from check in to check out was an amazing experience! The staff from the front desk to the morning breakfast staff, everyone made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. We will be staying here again innthe future and making sure our friends stay here as well.

The property was clean and comfortable. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Getting in and out of the property was a challenge for those of us who are left-turn phobic. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a very nice place to stay. The breakfast was wonderful and even though we left early, the late check out time is a wonderful option. The staff were all very friendly and it room was perfect. Thank you for a memorable stay in Durango.

The hotel was so clean and always fully stocked when we went down to the pool or for breakfast. The hotel was busy due to Christmas travel but the staff was constantly cleaning and offered great service! The lobby was even decorated for Christmas, and it made us feel at home as it was cozy.

A clean mid price motel. This motel is located on a busy four lane highway with the large trucks that generated a lot of road noise all night. The sidewalk leading to town was covered with dirt.

The reviews we read raved about what a great breakfast and what a great chef. It was standard fare for hotels of this type, just okay. Our TV only had 1 working channel. We called down about it and front desk told us she would give us a new clicker or would move us to another room. We opted for a new clicker and still had just 1 working channel. Somehow the next morning, we were able to get the other available stations. The A/C was quiet enough so we could get some sleep.

Wonderful stay and the staff were so hospitable! The chefs in kitchen introduced us to the deer and city of Durango! We loved it and will be back

Hotel location is close to town and river. Breakfast was very basic and often ran out of food by 8:30am.

I really like the fact that it smelled nice. None of that disinfectant smell that you can have at other places and the bed was heavenly. The pool was under construction, but still swimmable.

The room was clean. The bedding was clean. The pillows were okay. The bathroom was clean. We could hear all of the neighbors. At midnight it sounded like a jackhammer was in our room! The mini fridge was shaking so we unplugged it. We told the front desk.

The property itself was good. Woke up in the morning from being bite by bedbugs. Called the front desk. Older gentleman areived at room 313 and gave us a different room after seeing the bed bug and said we would have to wait for Dennis the manager to come in at 7 for a refund. Went to check out and Dennis was rude and said that because I booked through Expedia that he would let management know and they would refund me even though the older guy said Dennis was the manager we were waiting for.

We stayed here a year ago and had no complaints. This time we had a few issues, though nothing was major. The hot tub was tepid and filthy. We stayed in for a little while thinking it needed to warm up, but got out because of the gross water. I get that it's a pool hot tub, but come on. Breakfast service was great. The guy running it seemed to really care about makingi sure everyone was taken care of.

We stay at this property at least once a year and usually love it. This time the room was dirty with stained pillows, mystery hairs everywhere (yeah, that kind), and a visibly dirty tub. Gross. The whole parking lot is iced over with no efforts to salt it. Slipped many times.

Loved our stay. The front staff are friendly and accommodating. Had snow brushes for guests to borrow which came in very handy. Our favorite part was the mornings with Chef Ralph. He was so friendly and welcoming. I went down with my small toddler and he helped me get food/make waffles and put on cartoons for them. Overheard a guest tell him they couldn’t have the bacon so he made them a non pork option. Truly went above and beyond!

Nice staff. Rooms were clean. A little loud as far as hearing the highway noise. Great location - minutes from downtown Durango.

The room was clean, but the bathroom needs attention (see attached photo). Whatever happened there, it was never taken care of. The room door had a visible gap to the frame (on one side and at the bottom), so that light (and noise) from the corridor would seep in at night. Luckily we had overall courteous neighbors, that didn't slam the doors at 5:30am or at 12:00AM. Doors that close well and insulate from light and noise from the corridor, would be appreciated. Bed linens were of decent quality and seemed to be of a poly-blend that had enough cotton in them to not become a shroud of heat and sweat. Many comparable hotels have ditched cotton bed linen for poly-blends or 100% polyester sheets that are a no-sleep torture of heat and an unbreathable nightmare. Even with the AC set to 68F. Location is great and 15 min walking distance from downtown Durango. Breakfast is "the usual" low-quality deal. The staff member on duty thought, two days in a row, that putting out green rock-hard unripened bananas (who does that?) was ok and when asked "do you have any toast bread?" pointed to a display that only had biscuits and bagels. If the room was not quiet/comfortable, at this price point, I would probably not go again.

We enjoyed our stay as it was convenient to places we wanted to be near but the king bed was way to hard and we woke up sore like we had a hard workout.

This property was clean and well-run, as well as, convenient to downtown Durango. The free breakfast was substantial and a good deal.

Staff were all super friendly and helpful, especially Chef Ralph! Weekend breakfast staff were great too. Our room was clean, modern and very quiet. We were next to the elevator but really couldn’t hear it. The breakfast was fairly typical: all the carbs plus some fruit, yogurt, and scrambled egg beaters or quiche, and sausage or bacon, and hard boiled eggs. This is in a great location just a quick drive or 10 minute walk from downtown and a beautiful paved path along the Animas River. My only suggestion would be to add lamps or desks with USB plugs.
