Room was reasonably clean, although dark. Kitchen was ok, but no toaster. Breakfast was good with protein and yogurt. We entered through a back door that was almost blocked with an overflowing trash can. Can was clean and empty when we left. I did not appreciate being surprised by daily parking charges and a charge for using a credit card.

Suite rooms were large, clean and had updated bathrooms. Lighting in the room could be improved. Breakfast has good selections and changes every day. We rented 3 rooms and the garbage dispenser broke in in one of the rooms but otherwise stay was uneventful. There was a confusion with our late check out, the lady in the front desk said we could check out by 3 pm but we started getting calls from the hotel to check out at the regular time. Apparently, the lady did not know that check out could only be extended till 2 pm. The hotel however honored our original request to check out at 4 pm.

Breakfast was small and I saw neither hot food or fresh fruit - the only things I would consider eating. So I basically got nothing to eat. The cheap pastries were a joke and there was only 1 muffin left at 8am. I got coffee, that was it.

We were originally put in a room on the ground floor next to the egress door to the parking lot, and quite literally got zero sleep. The door slamming shut all night is directly on the other side of the headboard of the bed, and there’s little to no insulation in the wall. We let the front desk know, and they were very quick and courteous in assisting with a room change. From then forward, our stay was great! Clean room, courteous staff, great location. (Just avoid room 118!)

We opted in for daily full cleaning, but no housekeeping staff attended our room over the three days. This was disappointing and did not match the level of service expected. Breakfast (dietary concern) Several members of our group repeatedly confirmed with the chef/staff that the omelets contained no other meat. Despite those assurances, we later noticed pieces of ham in the omelets, and our group of approximately 25 people included many guests who avoid meat/are vegetarian, so this created a serious dietary concern. Pool and value The pool did not appear clean during our stay, and overall the experience did not feel worth the price paid. Based on these issues, we would not choose to stay here again.

The room above us started banging and making a lot of noise at about 2:30 am. Around 3:30 am I called the front desk to complain. The noises finally stopped around 4:00 am. When I spoke to the front desk in person in the morning it was the same staff that I talked to at 3:30 am. He said “they should know better”, and that they were extended stay guests. He told me that it shouldn’t happen again for the next night. He seemed very dismissive and unprofessional towards me and the whole situation.

I got to the Hotel and the guy behind the Counter, John, told me that they didnt have a room for me even though i had confirmation of a room and my payment went through. He also told me that the 3rd party over booked and there was nothing he could do. So, I called the Expedia and straightened it out and they contacted the hotel and the hotel was actually the ones that over booked by not updating their website. Expedia was able to get my payment back and helpful in resolving the issue.

The staff and the billing system made a huge confusion during my stay. In the checkout they just asked me my credit card and tried to charge me again. Thanks God my credit card app blocked the transaction. I was already paid in advance on Booking.com. Then the staff asked apologies, and told me I needed only to pay USD27 in taxes/fees. The Booking.com reservation was clearly saying that was already paid. I didn't pay, and asked them to talk with Booking.com Also in the 3rd day, my credit card app notified me during the night that my card was blocked due to a suspect transaction. It was USD40 from the hotel, and in the lobby the staff team told me it was a deposit. Ok, then I unlocked my card allowing the transaction. In the 4th day, a refund of USD40 was done. I didn't understand why, since I was going to stay there for 6 days, but ok. a mess!

Cons: There were apples left in our room fridge from the previous occupant. The fridge had an intermittent leak inside from where the freezer connected to the fridge. The bathroom door was extremely squeaky whenever it moved which was annoying at night. Several of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty & had to be re-washed when we arrived. Would have appreciated a small skillet, silicone spatula, and a few other kitchen utensils to be stocked.

The staff here was great. Due to poor working conditions, I needed to check out of my hotel in Cortez early, and the staff was not only able to get me an early check-in but were also exceptionally kind during my four-night stay at the property. I needed to come into town for some business engagements during SNOWDOWN week, one of Durango's busiest weeks. I have been on the road A LOT this year, and my time in Durango was exceptionally pleasant. I honestly was sad to leave and head to Denver for my next leg of the trip.

First room we were given bathroom sink was clogged and they fixed it promptly. A day or two later water was coming down from the bathroom ceiling. Called the front desk between 4 and 5 they said you have to change rooms now. Get moved to the thrird floor and the elevator could not be called to the third flood from the 3rd floor. Our room was on the second floor. When we brought our bags in, we noticed the elevator was out of order until further notice. We asked the guy at the desk and he said we had already “most definitely” been notified by email that we would have to use the stairs. I tried showing him my emails that most definitely did not include that info but he refused to look at them. He also gave us room keys that didn’t work. When we went back to the front desk to take care of it, he told us we didn’t know how to use the keys and came around to show us on three different doors. It didn’t work for him either. We liked the size of an our room. However, The attendant was not helpful in giving directions. Was not friendly, just doing her job. Could use some customer service training, The breakfast was horrible. The attendant didn’t keep up with stocking napkins, plastic ware, making sure the food containers were properly cared for and clean. Failed in contrast to other Resident Inns we stayed at. We stayed 3 days but had to ask for a refresh of our room. After asking, brought clean towels and hung them up for us. However, didn’t empty overflowing bathroom baskets or tidie up the room. Property is close to town, but probably would not stay there again. There is NO need to add additional fees to the room - just raise your rate. By adding a Parking fee & Resort fee- (Definitely not a resort property) turned me off completely. The positive is the staff was very nice and helpful, the negative was in a 6 night stay housekeeping came once. With no room cleaning, Guests would put their room trash in the halls. You can get a nice Air B&B for that price if you want to keep your own space clean.

There was an additional tax that was required after room was paid that was not disclosed until after check out…that should be corrected between booking agents and hotel, not hidden from customer and put on incidentals.

Room was dirty smelling like rank clothes. Not sure if it was the bedding or the closet. The smell was strong near the closet. Closet floor was dirty. Fingerprints on all the white doors. It needed a deep clean. Literature hanging on the refrigerator had food grime and fingerprints on it. I went to the gym and grabbed Lysol wipes and wiped all down. Couch was filled with stains. Put the extra sheet over it.

The bathroom could use a good deep clean. Dirty doors and toilet. Pillows on the bed were not great. Room set up and amenities were nice. No ice in the freezer. Breakfast was pretty good.

First room we were given smelled really bad. After making it clear I wouldn’t stay in that room, I was given another room but adjacent to the highway. Hotel was overbooked so no options really and couldn’t book a second night.

Stayed for several days. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of places to walk around the hotel. It is on a busy street and there is no "view." There is a pickleball ct and basketball hoop and a nice outside courtyard. The only down side to the facility was the small elevator and narrow halls. Otherwise a great stay.

The person at the front desk, John was very short with me and my husband. He said we booked a handicapped room as those are discounted rooms. I hadn’t done that at all and it made me feel embarrassed and like I was cheap. We had an issue as the refrigerator in our room didn’t work so my husband went to talk with him and he said he would take $10 off our stay. In the morning I asked him about it and he said, I already explained this to your husband, maybe he just doesn’t understand, also very short with me. I just really felt like he was condescending and like he didn’t have time to help us, maybe he thought he was better than us. Anyways, I will never go back there again.

The property is well-kept and close to many businesses. The only problem was that they didn't clean the rooms daily. They clean them every other day and we only stayed 2 days. Also, you could hear the people on top making a lot of noise.

I checked in on a Friday and there was a leak in the shower, which was close to the bed., annoying! It was not addressed until Monday. The shower area really needed some deep cleaning as there was mold along the floor. The shears need to be replaced, there were holes in them. I was shocked that there was a $10.00 a night parking fee, they do list this but I missed seeing it on the listing. The room was nice just not a place I would stay again and I have been coming to Durango for 18 years.

Thanks so much for a lovely Christmas stay. The 2-bedroom suite was perfect for our family. Breakfast was quite good, and we were happy to have coffee and tea available until late in the evening. The only minor criticism that I have is to please do better stocking the kitchens in the rooms. We planned to eat in for most of our stay but cooking wasn't always easy. Otherwise, it was great. We'd definitely stay again.

We had an extended stay for a week in a studio suite. The breakfast was good with a great selection of hot and cold breakfast items. Including eggs, sausage, bacon and waffles. The only thing that made the stay less than stellar was the water pressure in the shower and the television- there is no guide and finding anything is impossible with the station numbering. With this being an extended stay hotel people will probably pass some time watching a little tv but forget trying to find any semblance of a station. The front desk will provide a printout of the channels but why does it have to be so difficult? Next time we will bring our firestick. All in all it was a good stay.

Our stay was great! I love the homey feeling of it. Nice and quiet. The TV in the bedroom. I could not find a guide for the TV. I had to scroll down and find the channel for the guide. Receptionist seemed like she was tired, just as I was, we checked in in the evening. Breakfast was great! Awesome service from the lady. ☺️ I now prefer Residence Inn compared to the hotels I've stayed at. Especially in Las Vegas.

The ELEVATOR has not been operable since April! Why is this? No explanation was offered. There are baggage carts in the hallways upstairs. Can you say, "Fire hazard"? The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The pillows were soft and the beds comfortable. BUT c'mon no elevator?
