    The King bed room type we booked was unavailable when we arrived. The front desk staff gave us a coupon for two complimentary drinks at the bar, but when we went to redeem them the waitress said she wasn’t sure she could honor it because the coupon was for two drinks, not one (we were a party of two) so she had to check with the beverage director. We did get the two drinks, but it was an inhospitable encounter. We stayed four nights and despite lighting the “clean our room button” every day, housekeeping only cleaned our room once.

    The rooms and hallways had a strong unpleasant odor of urine & sweat and I had to switch rooms multiple times. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool shown on Expedia, only to find out it’s located at a different hotel and does not match the photos advertised. The food was also disappointing. The poke was not as expected (small bite sized chips verses a bowl), and when I politely requested a refund, the manager was dismissive and unprofessional even rolling her eyes. My replacement meal was dry and missing items listed on the menu as if the kitchen was upset at me after returning the first dish. One staff member was kind and helpful, but overall the experience was disappointing. I chose this hotel for the atmosphere and amenities, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. To top it off- I pre-booked the airport shuttle the day before and learned at checkout that they didn’t even make a reservation so they had to scramble to reserve a shuttle within 5 minutes of my departure time.

    AC Hotel was clean and the staff was extremely polite. The self parking was not bad at all. The room was clean and comfortable. A little on the small side but very nice. Location was great for airport, beach and activities in the vicinity. The only thing that I did not like was that someone was smoking in their room and the hotel evacuated all guests at 7am. I was not able to get sleep after standing outside for 15 minutes before being cleared to go back in. Other than that crummy incident all else was fine.

    The valet staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and social, which definitely stood out. The front desk staff varied — some were personable while others were more straight to business. Unfortunately, the bartender wasn’t very personable and would often disappear for stretches of time. The biggest downside for me was the location, although that’s partially on me for not doing more research beforehand. There are restaurants nearby, but if you’re looking for a hotel close to tourist attractions and things to do, this probably isn’t the place for you. It’s more of a convenient spot to sleep, handle what you need to do, and get back to the airport, which is only about 2 miles away.

    The staff was really bad, the phone didnt work to call the front desk to get them to tell the person above me from stomping till 3 am. I had to go downstairs and sleep in the lobby till the night shifts system came backup. after changing rooms and leaving message on check out for the manage to call me nothing no response no call no consideration to fix the problem other then a 12 dollar food voucher but the restaurant wasnt open

    The front desk staff was super helpful upon check in and made sure to greet me as I left and entered the property. The room was clean. I did not get housekeeping services or partake of the breakfast. The only not so great aspect of my stay was having to call for help every time I went in or out of the parking garage, but other than that, I would recommend this property to others and stay here again.

    Location to the beach was easy, beds comfy Our pipe under the sink was corroded causes it to pour water out which flooded the bathroom floor. The shower floors were scratched and stained. Had to move rooms but only had king rooms available so didn’t get the double bed option I originally booked

    Great hotel. We wanted something near LAX as we were dropping our dog off for pet transport. Great hotel for the dog. Restaurant in the hotel was very good and sitting outside in the bar area with heaters going was very nice. Very quiet considering how close we were to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

    I had to stay in LA due to a missed connecting flight and found this hotel last minute. Hotel looked well kept, very modern and clean. Staff were courteous. Free shuttle to and from airport. Free Starbucks coffee or tea in the lobby in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

    The staff carefully followed all the cleanliness and housekeeping instructions posted in the lobby, demonstrating excellent organization and a strong commitment to hygiene. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, as was the entire hotel. Cleanliness was exceptional throughout the property. The parking area was convenient and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was orderly, calm, and very well managed. Additionally, my money was refunded fairly and exactly as it should have been, which speaks volumes about the hotel’s honesty and professionalism. Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Excellent service, top-quality facilities, and outstanding customer care. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

    Over the last 3 years we have probably stayed at this property for close to 30 days. It’s been our go to hotel for LAX and LA. This trip we were told by the staff that airport shuttle was $10 per person. That was a surprise. In all the other times we were here we never paid and assumed airport shuttles were free. It’s not the amount that matters it’s the way they told us. Suffice it to say we will no longer be staying at this airport hotel.

    This will be my go-to hotel from now on! I loved that the room I stayed in was clean, spotless, and smelled so fresh. The area was safe and quiet, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.     During this stay I did not eat at the hotel, however I have ordered room service in the past, which was excellent. This is my go-to property whenever I need quick access to LAX. It’s easy to get in and out of LAX, even when airport traffic is hellacious. Standard rooms come with a hand-held shower attachment ❤️. Staff is friendly and efficient.

    Nothing stood out, really. I stay here all the time. However, the reason why it wasn’t excellent is because during the rainstorm, my bathroom leaked from the ceiling. While staff was very accommodating, she said, “We’ll change your room “with no additional cost to you.” Ummmm duh! Then there are asetic things that could use some touching up. For instance, the elevator could use a fresh coat of paint. In my room, some sloppily put calk around the bathtub. Just little things that overtime turn to big things. Otherwise, great place to stay

    Although I did not stay long at all..it was a nice hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer. It was definitely modern which is what I was going for considering the the hotels near the airport that do not get much renovation. Do recommend if you want to spend a little more.

    The cleanliness of the hallways, restroom and lobby. The room was spacious and comfortable, lacked trash bags though and I don’t understand the rule of not getting housekeeping service if you only stay 2 nights…. Thankfully my cousin and I are very careful so we had our own sanitation system to keep our room fresh. Access to rooftop restaurant and bar, safe location, the shuttle from the airport was impossible to contact when landing in LA. The messaging was delayed on the hotels part. But the shuttle to the airport was a good price and on time. And safe. breakfast Saturday morning was nice but they had some croissants that were old and flat and crunchy. The options were great and the eggs were cooked great, just like asked for. Breakfast felt personalized. I loved that The hallways are not quiet enough. Walking down you can hear other guests in their rooms or when their doors shut, very loud and inappropriate to hear the next guests over having sex. Ew.

    Front desk service is horrible, when I checked in they said reservation “first name” doesn’t match my ID, I said I have my order, credit card on file, and anything support to verify but they just ignore. I travel around the world never had issues with my last name and reservation number ready. And then the supervisor came over said, oh Asians most of the time has a different legal name….(wow). Then when I got into the room, the WiFi took forever to connect so I called the front desk again, took forever for them to pick up and then they gave me the access code, which they could share at the first place. Won’t go back for sure! Also people upstairs are loud, stomping around til 3 am. Not going back for sure.

    The property itself is very nice. However, we specifically booked this place because the listing mentioned a hot tub. We were traveling for a sports event and looking forward to relaxing afterward. Unfortunately, the hot tub is not on the property—it’s shared with the Hyatt Palace, requiring guests to walk off-site to access the pool and hot tub amenities. This proved quite inconvenient: we had to request a separate key, leave the property, and share a small 3-person hot tub between two large hotels. Since we stayed in November, the walk back in wet swimwear was uncomfortably cold. This setup didn’t meet our expectations based on the listing description.

    Overall it was a negative experience so really didn’t like much about the property. There were many issues with our stay. First thing, our check-in process was not so friendly. Not being aware before arrival that there was a Refundable Deposit of $100 PER night; which not stated in the hotel details was very frustrating! The manager was rude in explaining the policy. Which again was NOT on booking.com listing or in hotel details or on the hotel confirmation email. The hotel room floors were sticky and had a weird feel on the feet which made the family feel uncomfortable walking barefoot in the hotel room. Lastly there was no housekeeping service during our 2 night stay even though we requested service on controls by the door. Even if they just given fresh towels and made the bed…that would have been nice. So disappointing that they couldn’t do a basic thing like housekeeping that makes a stay better! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

    The staff, the clerks at the front desk weren’t very attentive or approachable/ welcoming. They overcharged me on parking even though I had stated that the email I had received said something different, they refused to honor the price. The restaurant on the top floor would take forever to attend my sister and I. The servers were friendly but felt that they were catering to the reserve party more. After taking our order we never saw our server again. My sister had to go ask for the check.

    So I pull up to the hotel. There’s no one outside to guide me with what to do with my car. The man at the reception desk is just sitting there. Walk inside to get guided, but I didn’t receive clear instructions on where to park and figured out that the top floor for self park is at the very top. Receptionist didn’t have a warm attitude. Tv in my suite wasn’t working properly and did call downstairs to have fixed. It worked better, but not functioning properly. Turned the tv off and went to sleep. I did appreciate the late check out accommodation. So thank you for that.

    There were so many great things about our stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott. The hotel staff was very accommodating when we requested an early check. The room was extremely clean. I usually travel with cleaning supplies in case this is not the case. My use of those items were minimal at AC Hotel. The rooftop restaurant was great as well.

    The room was perfect. The location was easy to get to two freeways so getting around was easy. The roof top bar was a great place to grab a yummy meal. The down side was the self parking garage. You had to go up three floors because every spot on the first 2 were reserved for local businesses. Also we had to lug our suitcases down three flights of stairs because the elevator did not work. We checked in at 3:00 went out and returned at 10:00 pm and now the parking garage was dark because there were no lights and still the elevator was out. Making the experience of parking the car and getting out of that garage with only the light of my cell phone kinda frightening. The following evening they had the elevator and lights working.

    The room was clean, the AC was a bit old and could use some maintenance (it was falling off the wall), we had fruit flies stuck in the ceiling paint of the bathroom (must have been this way for a while), but the front desk was very nice, bed as comfy and AC did get cold, so good overall.

    Everyone was so amazing from front desk, to valet, to cleaning, to repairing the safe, bartender, kitchen staff. Valets Jonathon G, JT and others for whom i have no name, to entire front desk and people that did things for us but i do not know their names. I talked to them everytime i saw them. And they were so happy to help.

    I finally got to use all the amenities in this hotel. I didn't realize that it had a balcony restaurant which was great and very enjoyable,but I decided to stay in the bar instead, because it was a warm day. The room itself is very comfortable and cozy.     My room never got cold and stayed hot all night. Woke up sweating… that said i like to sleep at 68 so it was probably 75-78 even though it was set at 66. Other than that loved the hotel, very nice modern touches, everything was well thought out. I hope the AC thing was just a fluke.

    The room i had booked said it had a sofa bed, once checked in come to find out our room was not provided with that sofa bed. Tv remote hardly worked. The phone did not work at all. We tried calling the lobby, the kitchen and the phone was not working at all. Beautiful room but a little upsetting that most things were not provided as mentioned in the description and what was initially reserved.

    Nice modern updated property. Overall very courteous check-in staff. Bar area is nice. On site parking is great. Area has decent fast food places around and seem by and large safe in night not much activity and seen sometimes people parking outside as well. Fancy restaurants not to far either just quick 5-10 min drive. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms nice and clean. Beds have been mostly comfortable. This time got a saggy mattress but my trip was short so did nt bother. But depending on my past experience I am sure they would have been helpful addressing my concerns. 100% recommend it.

    At 1:30am, moving rooms with a family of four just wasn’t practical. We barely got any sleep. If you’re considering this hotel and value peace and quiet, I’d think twice—especially because it’s pet-friendly. Unfortunately, one irresponsible dog owner ruined what could’ve been a great stay.

    This hotel was absolutely lovely!!! The staff was so kind and helpful. The beds were so comfortable, it felt like sinking into a cloud. The rooms were very clean and the air was on so it wasn’t hot and humid. My only complaint was the parking garage was seriously lacking. But luckily it still didn’t take long to park and get to the hotel. The hot tub was very much appreciated at the end of a long day.

    I was given a room on the first floor, the window looks out to a pedestrian walkway and parking lot in front of it so for privacy from people looking in i had to keep the blinds closed completely blocking out any sunlight, first floor needs privacy curtains that allow for sunlight to pass through. The food at the roof and lobby bar / restaurant not great to be kind.

    Quick trip out here. Went to game at Sofi which wasn’t a bad drive. Anything you need is 5-10 mins away. Bar downstairs is really nice. Quick check in and out. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Overall great stay.

    Transportation to the airport is only from 6 am to 10 am every 30 minutes… after that you have to reserve ahead of time and only til 10 pm. There is no shuttle between 10 P.M. to 6 A.M. You will need to use Uber or Lyft. Very misleading.

    We picked this property b/c of the proximity to the airport as we arrived late & had to leave early, only to find out at check-in the $39 fee to park was not included in the already high price we paid for our 8 hour stay. The room was fine but not worth $300. Due to the high cost & lack of transparency I would not stay here again. The staff member at check-in was robotic & unsympathetic. She told us we could park on the street and move the car every three hours in the middle of the night if we didn't wish to pay extra to park.

    Everything was good at this hotel, very clean and comfortable. It was also modern, but the only thing is with all the newer tech you need USB-C cables to charge your phone and the rooms only had USB-A so don’t forget your power conductor like I did. The hotel staff was nice enough to charge my phone at the front desk.

    Stayed for one night. I usually don’t mind some noise. I’m even ok if people are being loud until 1am. But people were partying until 5am at this place. There was noise coming from every adjacent room and above and below as well as the hall. Only slept from 5am to 8am.

    As for the room with two queen beds, it was comfortable but the frig took a while to cool. Lots of plus to use to charge your phone, etc. The shower head pressure was terrible as it was hard to get a good wash off of the soap or shampoo. Would have been nice if it worked properly as their had a rain shower head as well. The pipes in the bathroom after using the sink and toilet was making a lot of noise. I really hated the square toilet. The seat cover barely covers the bowl and it was loose, I felt like falling. LOL Was a quiet neighborhood. The 5 floor garage was shared with other hotels around so it fills up fast. Paid $34 a night for parking. They had a restaurant on the premises and served happy hour but didn’t get to try it. Was there for a quick two night stay for a funeral. Will think about using their hotel again.
