    The staff were great. I had an issue with checking in. Also my fire alarm was going off when I showered. No real issues. Great location. I think just being from LA and knowing there are other hotels in the area on the same level for less money is what’s getting to me. My opinion is that this hotel is overpriced. I’ll come back if I had to.

    The room was well maintained over our 3 night trip. Parking was good, and even when we came late and there were no more spots, the staff was helpful to find us a spot to park in. Everything was clean around the property, good location as well. One thing I really appreciated is how communicative the staff was. Very happy - will return to this location.

    The staff was nice. The gym was great. The breakfast was good and hit the spot each morning. I even had turkey sausage the last day. They put cheese in the eggs one day and that wasn’t good (I don’t eat dairy). The upkeep of the grounds is lacking and it’s an old property. The elevator was out of service for two days. The cookies are addictive. Overall the stay was average. The staff quickly remedied my issue with the loud graduating neighbors. For the price I’d stay there again with a lower expectation for a Hilton property. Good location overall.

    I enjoyed my stay and everything was good during my stay. I would say the only inconvenience was the 2 of the 3 elevators were not working almost the entirety of my stay but luckily it didn’t end up impacting me. They did fix it on my last day!

    Room was dirty and I think that has a lot to do with the age of the hotel. Elevators were broken down the whole weekend but luckily I was on the third floor. Only thing good about this place was the staff. They were friendly but this hotel is dirty and old and needs a remodel immediately. My hotel bathroom was dirty and the mattress was sinking on one side.

    The first room I was given was dirty. You could clearly see big yellow stains on the sheets as if they hadn’t been changed. I let front desk know and they changed my room. The next room I was given was dirty as well. Both the sheets and pillow cases looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly and both the sink and shower flooded as soon as the water was turned on. The rooms also smelled dirty, like urine. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here.

    Relatively close to LAX with a good shuttle The bed is too soft and had no hot water! Upon checkout, suggested that they comp the coffee and bagel I had for breakfast (about $10!). The answer was no. I travel extensively and this is by far the worst reaction I ever got at a hospitality facility. A really uncaring staff and totally non responsive management

    Airport shuttle on website is false. You need to inform everyone that your shuttle service is limited to certain times. If I knew ahead of time that I would have to pay for a secondary shuttle for early morning I would have just paid more for a hotel closer to the airport that had shuttle services around the clock.

    I paid for early check in and they didn't check me in until an hour before check in time. Then when we went to the room the maid was still cleaning, I was supposed to get the high floor and ended up settling for the 6th floor. The breakfast as entirely way too much, when you can get it somewhere else for way cheaper. Coffee was NOT free, you had to pay if you wanted a cup. The bathroom floor was not clean and there was a ring around the tub. Only 2 of the staff were helpful and apologetic. Never stay there again. The shuttle was 15.00 per person to the airport when you can order a Lyft for 16.00. Too pricey for what you get.

    The room had black hairs all over the bed, the garbage was not empty and the room smelled so horrible I couldn’t sit to get it out of there…. I figured it wouldn’t be the best, but just needed a quick stay before flying out, but eeesh it was really really dumpy for a double tree. Also unfinished projects throughout the halls. The staff was really lovely, but the room cleaniness was disturbing.

    The day we arrived the first thing I did not not like you charging are holding 100 per day for incidents that is something it was unacceptable. I could understand 100 dollars for the stay not 500 hundred dollars. Then once I went into my room there was hair on one of the pillows, hair in the bathroom floor and bath tub, that same day I show the pictures to a front desk personnel, There was writing on the furniture I show that to the front desk personnel just to make sure you do not charge me that for incidents. I was not very happy it most likely it would be the last time I stay there

    I went downstairs to report the issue, and thankfully they were able to switch us to another room. My family and I had to move everything late at night, and during the process I accidentally left behind my gold cross necklace. I reported it immediately and even left my phone number in case housekeeping found it, but no one ever followed up with me. There were several concerns during this stay: 1. Honesty and communication regarding lost items. 2. Cleanliness of the rooms. 3. Parking - they charge for parking, yet the parking area is a 5 minute walk from the building, which was inconvenient. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. Had I booked somewhere else, I likely would not have lost my necklace or had to switch rooms at midnight because of poor cleanliness standards.

    This hotel is definitely not 4 stars. Location is decent but rooms, elevators, and hallways need a facelift or at minimum be fixed by quality professionals. I have stayed at plenty of DoubleTrees with no complaints but this one doesn’t live up to the standards. The room was not cleaned well, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling, the shower caulk was black, the shower floor was stained with black mark, and the whole room just felt outdated. Unfortunately we could not get a refund so we sucked it up and stayed for the one night we booked. Avoid this hotel if you are paying and expecting a four star hotel, this is definitely not it. I wish you the best if you decide to move forward with your booking as I did and hopefully it a better experience.

    My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. It became very clear that this hotel and its staff only care about money and not about the well-being or concerns of their guests. If you ever face an emergency and need to leave the hotel early, be prepared to lose all your money. They show absolutely no compassion or understanding regardless of the situation — even if it involves a family emergency or the death of a loved one. There is no flexibility, no empathy, and no human understanding at all. The staff acts cold and robotic, as if guests are only numbers and sources of income. For a hotel associated with the Hilton brand, this level of treatment is unacceptable. Tourists should also be very careful, especially if you do not speak English fluently. Even when they have employees who speak your language, they often prefer to ignore you and claim they cannot help, which makes the experience even more frustrating and disrespectful. Overall, the hotel lacks professionalism, customer care, and basic human decency. I would never stay here again and I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, especially tourists visiting the area.

Multiple times I talked with front desk staff they had attitude, Eboni and Jessica were nice until they weren’t. They had so much attitude after each time I called asking for my receipt. You could hear their exhaustion with me. Didn’t even say hello or greeting they do when they pick up the phone. It was uncanny. I understand people go through a lot but the attitude was unwarranted. I was always nice and grateful for their help, until the attitudes came about. I am giving back this rating because of those two employees. They were fake and could not keep it professional, bad customer service, their attitude changed each time I called, maybe they have caller ID, that would explain the greeting when they picked up went away. I work in customer service and I always keep it professional, very disappointing, it’s part of the job, fixing the issue and making it right. It felt like they were trying to charge me for days after I checked out. If they didn’t give me attitude I wouldn’t have felt this way. Last person who I talked with for the 4th time calling, was professional told me the “system was down” and they would call me back and send my receipt to me. The last person called back very shortly and send me the correct receipt. Usually you get a receipt as soon as you check out. The whole thing was very bizarre. The receipt I was sent the first time, 2nd phone call was the wrong date, even though I explained when I checked out. Eboni and Jessica need to do better. You could hear their exhaustion with me. Didn’t even say hello or greeting they do when they pick up the phone. It was uncanny. I understand people go through a lot but the attitude was unwarranted. I was always nice and grateful for their help, until the attitudes came about. I am giving back this rating because of those two employees. They were fake and could not keep it professional, bad customer service, their attitude changed each time I called, maybe they have caller ID, that would explain the greeting when they picked up went away. I work in customer service and I always keep it professional, very disappointing, it’s part of the job, fixing the issue and making it right. It felt like they were trying to charge me for days after I checked out. If they didn’t give me attitude I wouldn’t have felt this way. Last person who I talked with for the 4th time calling, was professional told me the “system was down” and they would call me back and send my receipt to me. The last person called back very shortly and send me the correct receipt. Usually you get a receipt as soon as you check out. The whole thing was very bizarre. The receipt I was sent the first time, 2nd phone call was the wrong date, even though I explained when I checked out. Eboni and Jessica need to do better. It was my second time staying at this hotel, makes me never want to go back there, the hotel was beautiful and clean and the rest of the staff did a good job.

    I tried called the hotel prior to our trip to arange the shuttle and I could not get in touch with the hotel. I called another Hilton line who also could not get in touch with them. When I finally arrived, I told them their phones were not working and they acted like it was no big deal. When entering the room, it smelled like mildew. There was not one outlet in the bathroom, no counter space, and the bathtub would not drain. There also was not a handle to the bathroom and it was "fixed" with rope.

Housekeeping cleaned room, but left bathroom floor sticky, meaning they need to change water out for better results. Reception staff were good.     I booked a room here as they have a shuttle service from LAX and I have stayed here in the past. After an 11 hour flight from London I waited over an hour and 15 minutes for the shuttle and every time I called the hotel it was busy. I ended up taking a taxi at an additional £35 and when I got to the hotel, they said they were having issues with the phones. They apologised for not collecting me and when I went to take a shower, there was no hot water. Plus a few other issues

    It was a good one night stay - we arrived very late so went to bed right away then we had breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was just OK, nothing remarkable. The communication about the shuttle was not very clear, we were first timers arriving at LAX so we don't know our way.     The front desk staff was rude and not helpful at all. This is the only DT I’d ever been too that was stingy with cookies. Must be a California things. They have no roll aways, parking sucks, and lastly I was put in a room next to a room that was having carpet installed. 5 am! At 5 am carpet is being kicked into the wall right where my bed was! Ridiculous! I was offered no explanation or compensation or response when I chatted with the front desk. They do NOT clean rooms daily, even if you request it. They brought sheets to the room for me to change my bed linen myself. THE WORST!

    Convenient location to LAX (about a 10 min drive without traffic). Shuttle was expensive though - cheaper to ride share. Hotel is ok - wouldn’t stay again. Parking was very limited when we checked in and had to park across street as hotel lot was full. Hotel looking a bit worn and and in need of a refresh. Room was very, very loud all night (I have no idea what the noise was but it sounded like a diesel engine idling). Bathroom door would not open or close properly. Shower took a very long time to warm up and water pressure was problematic in sink, toilet and shower. Room was a decent size and beds were fairly comfortable.

    Property has declined drastically since a few years ago when we stayed. Rooms were dirty, bed sheets had holes in them, fitted sheets were coming off. Only 2 pillows on each bed that were the size of a throw pillow. When we got off elevator there were towels just left on floor. Only good thing this place had was friendly staff.

The bar and restaurant area looked nice but i never used it. If you need extra towels make sure you call the night before because we waited a hour for out towel in the morning witch made up late to my daughters college tour.

    The room was on a level where they experienced a major water leak at their ice machine. The smell of mold was suffocating!!! The beds were so soft and the pillows were so tough to sleep on because they were all lumpy inside the pillow case. Horrible experience!! We were planning on staying at the Doubletree again after our cruise but decided to stay at the Sheraton Hotel instead....a MUCH better choice and still paid less than the Doubletree!     Staff was excellent, friendly, helpful & courtious. Our room was clean & spacious. The welcoming warm cookies & bottled water was a very nice touch. The swimming pool is huge.     The hotel was fine. However, when we checked in my companion and I split the deposit with $50 each on our credit cards. When we checked out, I put the whole charge for the room on my account. At the same time they charged the whole amount to my companion. I have contacted the hotel about this, but have not heard back. I would appreciate any assistance. You can provide to ensure that we get a refund and only paid one time. Thank you.

    1 - didn’t get room service for 3 days, had to ask to get new towels and on the 5th for our room to be cleaned 2 - every morning around 8am, women outside would be sucking up leafs. Right outside our window. 3 - the shower water supply was poor 4 - the restrurant waiter was rude when asking for the menu; then trying to order. We eventually left because it was awkward

    Our flight was late and so we checked in later than planned and hotel fully booked. Our room on the second floor overlooked the carpark and the window was open on arrival - it was clearly broken with no way to fully close it and no other rooms available. So my young kids were woken early by the garbage truck and then the smokers began smoking right under our window. Sadly not the best experience especially as a family

    The bathroom was dirty but the worst was one of the towels had blood on multiple places. I came to the front desk to notify the staff. Staff was defensive asked me for proof and for pictures which I gladly showed. I asked to speak with a manager but was told that the manager was busy and couldn’t help.

    I was really happy with this choice. Rooms and property were very clean. Room smelled good, fresh, etc. Bed was clean and comfy. Front desk guy was very nice and helpful and engaged. Shuttle was easy to use both to and from the airport. From the airport was a little more tricky, insider tip: we flew into terminal 6 and you have to walk all the way to the far side of terminal 7 to catch the shuttle at least for terminal 6.

    The chain on the toilet had fallen off and we couldn't flush it. We waited over an hour for the shuttle. A cable TV was out for hours. The HV/AC was leaking flooding the carpet and getting my suitcase wet. Ate at the bar. Got the order wrong twice. Breakfast buffet isn’t worth $24.99. Not worth half that much.

    It took a 1.5 hours to check into the room. The cookie which used to be my favorite part about the hotel was hard. The staff was curt. The shuttle has to be requested in advance and had limited seating. The room was fine, but missing pillows. The shower pressure wasn’t great.

    I’ve stayed here several times. Every time is “just” okay. Check in was a breeze. However, housekeeping knocked in the door at 8:15am and woke us up! It was even check out time yet(11am). This was an inconvenience and we could not go back to sleep after that. We asked for a late check out and was only given 30min. While we were preparing to leave someone else knocked on the door at 11:15am with a clipboard asking if we were checking out today. Makes no sense! Again it wasn’t even our checkout time. My advice is do not disturb the customers who paid to stay at your hotel if you don’t have to!! Let us enjoy our stay without all the extra disturbances.

    the breakfast was unappetizing, very simple nothing that made you say wow. the potatoes were raw, the patty sasauge was dry, as well as the eggs. i asked for plastic utensils and they didnt have any, poor hygiene in handling the utensils and plates. the housekeeping is confusing, due to them coming every other day instead of everyday.

    Pocket door to bathroom wouldn’t close all the way. Heating/cooling unit was not working properly, and the last day starter leaking. Toilet was sporadically flushing . They are supposed to clean the room every other day and even though we reminded them when we left that morning it wasn’t cleaned. Only one person at the front desk acted as if he cared and I’m sorry I didn’t get his name to complement him as the others were sub-par. This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review on a hotel but this one deserved it.

    Very nice clean hotel with a good hot breakfast buffet. Room and beds were very nice. Staff was also very friendly. It's in a safe area just a couple of miles from the airport. Only issue I had was waiting for the hotel shuttle. There's one shuttle for at least two hotels, and it seemed to me like it was just constantly doing rounds to and from the airport. With traffic I wouldn't count on it being on time.

    As a result, I had no option but to take an Uber at my own expense. To make matters worse, when I tried to get help from staff, they were not supportive or accommodating because the credit card used for the booking was not under the same name, despite the situation being clearly beyond my control. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, especially after such a long journey, and I believe this situation could have been handled with much better communication and customer service.

    Although shuttle service was available, my grandfather was not informed when making the reservation that there would be a charge before 7 am. The important issue is on check-in. My grandfather checked me in, as he was paying for the room. The room assignment that was given to us, end up being a surprise. When I opened the room door, the room appeared to be already occupied. The bed was not made, towels were on the floor, there were item in the which I believed belonged to someone. I called my grandfather because he was waiting in the lobby. The agent could not believe the room was not vacant, because the computer indicated it was available and cleaned. The agent at the counter apologized, and did his best to reassign us another room.

    Lots of fast food eateries near by. Excellent staff. Ask for the lovely chocolate cookies they gave at reception. Only clean rooms every 2 days that we weren't expecting. So if you want fresh towels let reception know. Otherwise very happy with our stay. Great shuttle too. Very punctual. Good meals at restaurant. Especially the chicken wings on special $8 if I recall on Wednesday special menu. Good restaurant.

    Giuliana at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. My room was clean and the environment in general was very welcoming. I went to the restaurant for dinner one evening and the patty melt with fries were so so good. I will definitely be staying again. This was my second visit.

    I was highly dissatisfied with my stay. My room was not cleaned once during my entire visit, and nothing was replenished—no towels, toiletries, or basic necessities. For the price and expectations of this hotel, the lack of service was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I will likely not be booking here again.

    Parking is a challenge if you don't get a space in the outdoor area. The 7 story additional lot has 3 or 4 spaces on the first floor, but otherwise you have to climb to the 6th or even 7th floor.

    To be fair, the staff was mostly friendly. However, I didn't find them to be very helpful. I had bad water pressure that wasn't resolved, and I requested a comforter a couple of times and never received it. The shuttle for the airport smell badly as well. So, just not great overall.

    I needed an early shuttle (4am), which you can pre-order and it is $15. I had a $20, the driver didn't think to ask if I wanted change. I let it slide, it was going to be a long day!

    Disappointed in the bathroom. For the high price we paid to stay there, the shower door handle was loose and partially unattached. The bathroom sink had no drain plug, just an open hole. I made sure to keep my jewelry away from it. Coffee makings were there but NO coffee maker! $300 deposit, not happy and would not stay there again.

    Area is good and quiet. Room was good, However bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast should be included for the price we pay for the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t big and I paid $54 for breakfast for the 2 of us. That expensive. We could have eaten somewhere else but didn’t want to travel far before the game. The bar was good. We had a good bartender, Enzo.

    I celebrated my birthday at the Double Tree hotel. I had a pleasant 2 day stay. The staff was all Soo nice and very welcoming. My birthday started off sad. The front desk clerk manage to put a smile on my face and made me feel a lot better. My room was beautiful. Only take away is ac and heat was not working properly. Other than that I really loved my stay. I will visit again thank you 💜♥️

    There was this small that I let the front desk know about and if someone could come and check. The answer was yes, but no one came and know one followed up on it. The sink in the bathroom when you turn on the water, there was this awful smell and keep the window open. I did not get all the information that I was suppose to get. I heard them explain to others that was checking in; do you need a parking pass, explained about the buffet and other food services. gave them 2 bottles of water and the pack of cookies. I was not giving any of this information and had to come back and asked about parking. I was just glad to get out of there, no offense.

    This was a very nice stay. Everything was good. Suppuuuper comfortable bed, sheets, pillows. Spacious room and clean bathroom- modern amenities, updated feeling. The bar/restaurant was great, really good drinks, super nice staff. The breakfast was really delicious. I will prioritize staying here again.

    Good Location. Very good staff! Although the breakfast buffet was pretty subpar, the dining staff was excellent. The free shuttle was a little confusing and took a while but I don't blame the hotel for that. The shuttle picks up for different hotels. Overall a good hotel for a layover flight.

    The room was nice. I didn't spend a lot of time in it though because by the time the shuttle picked me up around 1030 it was close to midnight before we arrived at the hotel and I had to get up at 630 am the next day. I would recommend reserving your seat on the shuttle the night before. I had to skip breakfast at the hotel because I had to take an early shuttle because the time I wanted was booked and I had to be at the airport before the next one qas available.

    Staff is nice. No hot water, coffee or tea in the lobby area. Bathrooms need renovation. Bathroom wallpaper has water stains. Building is old. First night bed sheets are a bit sticky.
