Everyone here was really nice to me. The building is not special, but the room was clean and everything worked! The neighborhood is a bit strange; sort of nice buildings and then not-so-nice all jumbled around the hotel. But front desk people are VERY nice.

I was disappointed in our room. For the price we paid, I expected so much more. It was very reminiscent of a Motel 6 but over double the cost. On the surface it appeared clean but the floors were pretty dirty as my socks indicated. I wouldn’t stay here again. Price was way too high for what you got.

It’s close to the airport and perfect for my 1 night stay. The airport shuttle starts at 5am. I had a 6am departure so I had to get to LAX earlier but was able to get an uber in less than 5 minutes.

This place is super clean and the staff are amazing! Beds are great the unit is standard but the bathroom has nice soaps mounted in the shower. It was quiet and I never heard any planes Parking is cheap relative to other places close by. Great location, awesome shuttle, what else do you need? It has a small outdoor pool that I didn't use but lots of others were I would definitely stay there again

A great place to land for a couple nights after landing at LAX. Great value and everything you need for a short stay. Great staff. Will be back.

The staff and location. The pool was filthy,we asked for it to be cleaned,it never was,we were opposite the pool and the same dirt and rubbish lay in it the whole time,the pool chairs and tables were falling apart and had never been cleaned. There is an obligation to clean and test pools... the authorities were alerted to this problem by a couple with children who were also staying. For us,it was a disappointment,but for a family with kids not being able to swim when they could see the pool from their room is not good. Also breakfast was still advertised when we booked,but appatently hasn't been available since Covid. Not a huge problem,but misinformation and unfair,especially for those on a very tight budget.

The hotel room was adequate—it was clean and the AC worked well. Pretty minimalistic. The neighborhood was a little iffy but was close to the airport. We didn’t dare leave valuable in the room while we went to dinner—a lot of random people hanging around outside our room door—so we just took them with us. The shuttle service to the airport at 5 AM was perfect. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel took 30 minutes to arrive but the driver was very helpful and did a good job.

Staff were great as was the king room we stayed at across the road from the reception nice and quiet huge room free pick up and drop off at airport lots of shops close by supermarket yummy diner called in & out burger go there great experience. Last at front desk was helpful we will be back great stopover for the airport before trip back to Australia. Can catch bus to malls etc or catch Ubers lien we did most times for our short 3 day stay. Very clean, good location, and great staff. The bed was very uncomfortable which I didn’t understand. It seemed to be a new mattress. Perhaps it was top firm.

On checkout, we wanted to leave our luggage to which the receptionist replied he could watch them for an hour or two but if it was for any longer, we had to pay. This was not disclosed on checkin or in the hotel information.

The manager, Josh, was super helpful. Highly recommend this place if need an overnight stay near LAX.

I stay at Travelodge occasionally. This property has clean towels and housekeeping service when requested. However, prices inflate quickly so I recommend booking early. Overall 4.5 stars!

The best part of this hotel is the location (right near LAX airport). Very convenient. The room was OK, but the floor felt a bit sticky and the bathtub faucet was semi-broken (it would switch to shower only halfway). Parking was not unreasonable--$15 a night.

Surrounded by chain smokers tying one in to drink all Sunday night. Smokers and at pool - couldn’t let kid swim. Smokers outside my AC unit - couldn’t use fan. Still seeped in and ruined sleep. Loud socializing and drinking outside my room. Begged staff to stop all of it but they were ineffective. Terrible! Smokers Hotel!

There wasn’t anything necessary wrong with the cleanliness of the facility and it was well maintained however, it was very misleading with the pictures the pictures used were not of the actual room so to me honesty is the best policy and I didn’t appreciate the deception. I flew from my state to LA and stayed at this property because I was going to take an international flight and the incoming experience was so good that I rebooked it for my return flight. It also has the convenience of having an airport shuttle available. They’re are several restaurants closed by too. Would recommend it 100%

This was a nice room for a few days stay. The staff was nice and helpful. I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t automatically give you fresh towels in the morning but overall it was a nice hotel and I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

The room was nice and everything worked as expected. There was a microwave and a fridge as well. No issues with the TV or the HVAC and it does have airport shuttle service. My only complaint would be that there is no elevator and having had two large suitcases made it a bit difficult to get upstairs. I am unsure if they have someone able to help carry luggage up to the second floor and thankfully I am still able to do it. I didn't have a car, but they do charge for parking if you do.

The location is wonderful for airport travel. Unfortunately, the hotel is now quite old and is beginning to show a lot of where. The rooms are nice and the beds are nice, but just everything’s a bit worn.

The ironic part is I went up the road to the Marriott and had no issue at all. It just feels like a lack of ownership… something like this could have been handled a lot more easily, and instead it cost me time and I’m still without a refund solution.

I could easily hear my neighbor's loud snoring on one side of my room and a very loud television on the other side, despite using foam earplugs. I had to make three calls for the shuttle service. I had traveled from Pennsylvania to Wash.D.C to LAX and I was very fatigued when I arrived. I waited 50 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and was very frustrated with the poor service. I was given info by the shuttle service about where the pick up was located. Each time I was told the shuttle was on the way. That was a lie. The 3rd time I called, after waiting 40 mins, I asked if I should take a cab. Again I was told the Shuttle would arrive. It finally arrived 10 mins latet, and by then, after standing outside waiting for so long, I was very irritated and pissed off. If the shuttle only runs at scheduled timed, that info should be clearly indicated in the hotel info. I selected this location because I had an early flt out in less than 2 days and the shuttle service was an important part of my decision for selecting this location. I will not be staying at this location again nor I will not recommend it to others. The shuttle experience, lack of truthful info from the shuttle rep. and the disregard for wasting my time after a long travel day is the reason. At this point, I am willing to pay more for timely as well as reliable service.

Too much noise through the whole night we stayed.

No elevator, so we had to haul our five bags upstairs. There was limited access for airport shuttle. We needed to leave at 5 or 530 AM and that was already taken, so I had to order an Uber for $20. Someone was smoking pot or smoking outside our room or next door in a room and it stunk our room up in the middle of the night. We were able to check into our room early to leave our bags, while we went shopping, so that was nice and reasonable for the fee!

Accessible via the shuttle to the airport. We were there for a few hours to get some sleep before our early morning flight to Hawaii. Good value for money, fairly basic accommodation the neighbourhood is a dump.

The room was well appointed and clean. Nice and close to the airport. With day stay available made things very easy to relax before our flight. The only issue was with the shuttle bus. We waited for an hour at the airport waiting for it to turn up.

Our bag was delayed so the receptionist gave us tooth brushes so we didn't have to go out and find some. You could hear the neighbors but it didn't bother us. We were still able to hear our tv and sleep, it was a Friday night.

The airport shuttle service was terrible. When I first called, they told me 15 to 20 minutes waiting time. Forty five minutes later I had to call again. It took about 1 hr and 15 minutes before they picked me up. I even had to send a picture to the driver to show where we were standing.

It’s the fist time that I will be writing a terrible review, but the place was very dirty and also they will not provide a shuttle to the airport before 5 am. That’s the reason why I got that hotel. I only spent 6 hours due to the time of my flight. People was screaming and the hotel staff did not due anything. I was about to call the police.

Checked in. Found bed bugs in bathroom directly after entering room. Checked out immediately and requested a refund. Also showed pictures to the front desk worker who had no interest in going to see for herself. Was informed by front desk that I’d have to talk to Expedia for a refund as I had booked and prepaid through Expedia. After 4 days of communication through Expedia the hotel decided they would not give me a refund. Expedia didn’t seem to want to help much either although they offered me $25 in onekey cash

The room was fine, but I paid $18 extra for onsite parking and when I arrived the hotel staff said that I had to use a 3rd party app to enable onsite parking. This 3rd party app charged me $27.50 for parking and they have not refunded me that amount.

We reserved 2 rooms. One for my son’s family and one for ourselves. Both rooms had what appeared to be bedbugs. We left immediately.

We stayed on 2 seperate occasions for our trip to America, and both times the rooms smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s an old dated property that could do with some love - the rooms are dark, the shower heads need replacing and are covered in calcium build up/corrosion. Water pressure is terrible. Hardly any tea/coffee available in the room. The staff were always polite, smiling and respectful to assist us.

Staff was nice. Rooms very thin walls. Could hear the person upstairs walking around and rolling their luggage a lot. At 2:30 am a couple was arguing outside and woke us up. We finally had to call the front desk who had them leave. Otherwise location was great, room was clean, and spacious.

Another concern was our room location. We were assigned the farthest room from the office, directly next to a road, which resulted in significant noise. When I asked about this at checkout, the staff member stated that those rooms are typically assigned last. I then asked if the hotel had been sold out, and she indicated that it was not. The staff was friendly and courteous overall, though two staff members we asked for help outside were unable to communicate in English.

The shuttle service, I waited at the aiport for 2 hours and when called the hotel said that I need to call a number that they never answer. I was sent to the area accross de street with 2 big bags and it felt very unsafe. The rooms are very loude, all the walking and everything from the floor upstairs can be heard. I think someone was smoking weed outside and the smell was coming under the door to my room. People talking outside the room all night. I tried to book the shuttle to the aiport at 7 am and the told me it is full. That I can go at 5 am or 8 am, what a joke. I ended up taking uber. Fridge was dirty, didnt get to use it

Clean room, airport shuttle included, convient to LAX.

The room was spacious and appeared clean. However, after two nights I had 4 bed bug bites from being under the blanket. The ground floor room was also next to a dumpster so the noise in the early morning was unbearable. There is no tea only coffee for guests, too.

was not ADA standard. bathroom no grab rails. tub no slip proof surface. was very dangerous for me. would not return

Staff upon entering. NOT so great. I requested early check in and tried to pay the $25 Upon getting there I was told they didn’t have enough staff and didn’t have clean rooms and I’d need to wait or come back. I decided to wait in the side lobby to which I was surprised there were 10 other people also waiting for rooms. So patiently I waited til 3 And 10 min before 3… a big shuttle bus of another 15-20 people came in and they proceeded to check them in beforeeee all the people who had been waiting for hours for check in. I was livid and so were the other people who waited. I also did the “pre check in” where you take your id and pre register and all that jazz. I asked them if I would be notified when my room was ready since I pre checked and was waiting. And they told me I’d need to get to the back of the line (after waiting 2 hours for a room) and just be patient. Their check in process was horrendous. Thankfully the rooms were nice. But I’m not sure I’d ever stay there again based on their check in process alone. The girl who I initially saw literally hid bc I was extremely vocal (not rude) but vocal about making guests who had been waiting hours check in afterrr the people who just arrived. They need a better process and they need to just get rid of the whole pre check in process if they aren’t gonna honor that. They also should update the $100 deposit. I figured there would be a deposit but it’s not on any of the sites

Close to the airport with a free shuttle service (free but can take a while), close to restaurants within walking distance, clean rooms but be aware that if you are on the Sycamore Avenue side, traffic noise can be disturbing. Look for special offer. One night stay before cruising, was perfect for our needs.

Room was good and worked for one night. Staff were not helpful. Needed extra pillow and asked for one in person and online before arrival. Told it would be delivered. Never came. Used the text that was to “help us have a better stay “ and no response. No answer when called. Never got the pillow and didn’t want to walk back to office late at night due to our room was situated in weird set up across the street. So service was a huge issue for us. Needed that for leg support for bad leg.

Our room looked to be remodeled with a small fridge and microwave. There is an ihop down the street and a chick fillet across the street. The staff was proficient and we got to our room quickly. The airport shuttle is on demand! It’s the best bang for your buck compared to the other hotels with a shuttle. 3+ stars

We booked the hotel simply because it had airport shuttle, but when checking in, they had no shuttles available within a three hour window for our flight

The hotel is extremely close to LAX airport. I may be a little harsh on my ratings but I could not get past the entire room smelling like urine. Everything looked clean but I could not figure out how and why it smelled so bad.

FYI: You will wait a very long time for an airport shuttle, watching every other shuttle go past a dozen times before you ever see any sign of a Travellodge shuttle. By all means stay here, but get an Uber. You have been warned.

This hotel was what you’d expect for a travel lodge. Nothing fancy but it has everything you need. Soap, shampoo, mini fridge, tv, ok bed. I only needed a place for the night and was flying out of LAX the next morning. Since this hotel is only about 1.5 miles away it worked perfectly. And the hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, leaving at the top of the hour, every hour, starting at 5am. That alone is worth it because the Uber I took from the airport to the hotel was $40 (once I added a tip).

Your staff is fantastic! I've been several times at this place, the localization is very convenient for me. I had a problem with my credit card and both the girl at the desk and the manager helped me a lot! Many thanks to them! Will return for sure!

Just a hotel to lay our heads down to catch another flight out of LAX. Make an appointment if you need airline shuttle bus. Hotel is in disrepair,, high crime neighborhood. Not safe to walk around at night. Shower was warm but barely any water pressure---- think being spit on, definitely wasn't one of those rain shower heads. Window next to door was see-through from the outside. Only one semitransparent privacy screen, no drapes. Did not feel safe from crackheads or theives at night as a result. Slept in our clothes.

The room was clean but really small. We came in later at night around 9. The person on duty was more interested un her phone than anything. The best I can say was it was clean.

Airport shuttle was quick to arrive, only 20 mins. to get to the Travelodge. Despite being very close to the airport very quiet once in the room. Numerous places to eat witin a couple of minutes and large grocery supermarket 5 minutes away. Great place to stopover after or before flight from LAX.

Wifi doesn't work well and got blamed for either not being "logged in" correctly or was told to walk around to get better wifi connection. The fridge in my room didn't get cold enough. Also there are no blackout curtains. So at night time the light from the outside is very bright. The room was clean and well maintained.

Again, it was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Great place for the price and would recommend it. As a tip, there is a gas station behind it that has very reasonably priced snacks and drinks.

Just a quick overnight stay before leaving from LAX early the next morning. Super-convenient location, room was clean and staff were friendly. Didn't use the pool or shuttle, so left no rating for those.

I had to phone the hotel to ask if it was coming after unknowingly just missing one & was then given the phone number to make my own arrangements with the Shuttle company... not at all impressed.. would have been good to have that info at the time of booking the room...the room decor is very attractive...bed extremely comfy..shower pressure very average... walls a little thin as I could hear people next door & above... good news...an IHOP a very short walk away... thank you

We were given a room that was meant for someone with a wheelchair, which was fine as we were only there to sleep. However, it was a unique experience as we are tall.

I picked this Hotel for the Shuttle to and from the Airport. Coming back from a trip to Australia, we just wanted to rest before the next flight home. The Travellodge was pleasant, clean and comfortable. Accomodations are dated but maintained. We had a very comfortable night.

The punctuality of airport shuttle was good but very limited seats only. We stayed only for 8 hours because our overlaid time was long to wait. Very easy to book that time and we did not expect the ambiance of surroundings but it was safe to stay.

Will never stsy there again! Someone attempted to enter my room with a key card , i had do not disturb on the door, i yelled they took off. Requested a refund nxt day after they moved me to another room where I could not sleep peacefully, manager Joshua brushed it off and wouldnt accpmdate a refund after i told him o did npt rest i was on fear couldnt sleep. Overnight agent told me a nightime housekeeper tripped and fell against my door after i told her i heard the key card being swiped to enter my room, i had the latch on the door and i yelled the person took off. Terrible experience. Ladies be safe at this hotel.

Room floor made the soles of my feet black. But... ... it's only a 2-star hotel and cheap for LA. The bed was the best I've slept in during my 3 weeks in the US. Recommended, but don't expect the Ritz.

THE POOL AREA WAS SMALL BUT INVITING. NIGHT TIME DESK PERSON WAS GREAT...HOPE HE IS PAID WELL ENOUGH TO KEEP HIM! THIS MOTEL IS CLOSE TO LAX AND WAS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE OPTION FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY. THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE WAS CONVENIENT AND TO THE MINUTE ON TIME.

The Airport Shuttle should operate more frequently. The hotel should provide better security for their guests. The elevators should only be operational for registered guests, or if requested by the guest, a hotel employee should be available to escort the guest to their room.

This hotel was conveniently located close to the airport and had an included shuttle. It’s a motel style place and in need of updating, which lends a generally dirty feel, even if the place was clean. If that makes sense. Our room had a strong weed smell. Bedding was clean and nice though.

Very convenient to airport with free transportation. Clean, comfortable renovated room. Comfy bed, fluffy towels and nice outside pool. Some airport hotels are noisy; this one is quiet! Room equipped with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance. I would stay here again!

This is a clean and modern property, and I really liked how the room was furnished, however my room was on the first floor right by the outside door, used frequently by the staff, so you will wake up at 7am weather you like it or not.

It really close to the airport and perfect to stay overnight for the connecting flight. Facility is old but the room was clean. They offer free shuttle but its not 24/7, so I ended up using Lyft to catch my early morning flight.

Great place to stay next to LAX. Newly remodeled and clean. Easy access. Downstairs rooms loud in morning with upstairs guest walking around and getting ready. Would stay again, it was easy cause we flew out next day from LAX.

Once I got to the property, I was checked in quickly and was given a lovely room with a microwave and a refrigerator and everything was clean and everything worked. It’s simply an overnight stay, but it was extremely pleasant.

I just needed a clean, comfortable, and affordable airport hotel. THIS WAS IT! And it even came in with friendly check-in staff. Honestly ... I was way more impressed than I was expected to be for this motel / hotel.

The stay was good. We had a nice stay, however the neighbors kept slamming their door. It was loud by 9pm it had settled and we got a good night sleep. The room was large so that was nice!

This was the nastiest hotel I ever walked into smells like smoke through out had a long flight a wanted to rest but didn’t even want my 12 year old sitting on the bed. Bathroom was gross didn’t even want to use.. should be ashamed to post pictures of this nice hotel an u get there surrounded by crackheads

Major factor to be aware of: try to avoid having the desk keep your bags for you. You have to pay an online provider to be responsible for your bags. I left 2 carryon size bags, classified as 2 small, and the cost was over $16. Never had to pay to leave bags for a few hours anywhere else. Otherwise all positive, beyond expectations.

I’ve been coming here for 10 plus years. They don’t have roaches. Rooms are clean. What they do have is mosquitoes and pincher bugs in their rooms. And small flying bugs. I believe when they clean the rooms they leave the door open. Bugs fly in. I’ve brought this issue up directly and my complaint wasn’t taken seriously. Management should consider giving the cleaning crew insect spray. Before they leave the room after cleaning they should spray. It’s a small issue but this should be addressed. Please consider

Avoid this place like the plague. Our room was dirty and smelled like someone had smoked in it. The AC barely worked and was very noisy. The property itself isn’t safe. When we arrived at night there was a large group of people smoking and drinking in their parking lot

No soap at the bathroom sink and the shower water flow was abysmal. Room was clean enough and bed nice but hard to get over bathroom issues.

We only stayed a few hours to get a early morning flight. Used the shuttle services to pick us up, that didn't go well!! Check in was quick abd front desk staff was nice, asked for a early morning wake up and he forgot .. very loud and busy area, bed comfortable and shower and towels was nice!!

A good day hotel to relax after and before your flight. No, elevator so, pack light in case you get the upper floor. I have a shoulder issue and had to carry all my bags up one floor with no assistance.

Then we got to a very dumpy looking hotel. We have a flight tomorrow later in the afternoon so I was hoping to get a little later check out time - every hotel I’ve ever stayed at gives an hour or at the very least will hold your luggage for you. This one day they cal do 30 minutes late and then the charges start at $25 for one extra hour and goes up from there. So I then asked if they could at least hold our luggage and they will for a fee. The room does look like the pics and looks clean - however it’s clear that someone has been smoking in here - even though it’s a non smoking room. I don’t usually write reviews but this place is terrible and I don’t want others making the same mistake.

I got this property due to the proximity to the airport. The shuttle never arrived. I had to end up getting an UBER which ended up costing me more money. For that difference, I couldve stayed at the Hampton across the street which is a nicer property.

Repairs that seem to feel like they lasted my whole stay next door, felt like I was back home instead of on vacation due to the loudness. Banging constantly. The room was clean, I had to switch rooms due to an issue and ac blowing hot air or malfunctioning in the first room upon arrival and the front desk were great, the cleaning ladies not so much.

This hotel looks like a motel and has not been updated at all. When I first checked in, the room smelled of marijuana and the hairdryer did not work (it was very old). The concierge was nice enough to switch us to another room, and again the hair dryer did not work. The people next door to us were very loud and during the night you could hear everything as the rooms surround the parking lot. We cut our stay short and opted to stay at another hotel.

A few local places to grab something quick to eat. Isn’t too far from visiting the beach and it was convenient to have shuttle service to/from the airport.

I was floor level and a group of people hung out by my window smoking weed and being loud until midnight. My room smelled awful and I felt very unsafe since it was just me and my toddler. The lock on the door was broken and changing rooms just didn’t feel like an option since I’d have to walk thru the group with luggage and toddler to do so. I will never stay there again nor will I recommend it.
