Very convenient location not too far from the airport. Stayed here for my second time for a business trip.

We loved our stay! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the fresh water and lemonade that was available daily in the lobby. The bar and lobby area is very nice and cute! Free popcorn and coffee daily. Perfect location. Would definitely stay again.

I usually always stay here when I come to Cali depending on my plans but it’s close by the airport the only downside is the parking is $40 a night but other than that I like it will plan to stay here again

The hotel was very well located close to airport and nearby shopping zones including fast food restaurants and groceries. The hotel shuttle to the airport was very frequent, pleasant and free. The room was OK, but the walls were thin and we got waken up by the cleaning staff shouting in the corridor. The swimming pool is not warm, not with a lifeguard and without bar/drinks/toilet. The breakfast was very unhealthy - choices of bread with sugar, yogurt with sugar, pancakes with sugar or pastry with sugar - no meat, cheese, salad or even bread without sugar and preservatives.

Great stay. Will do again next trip.

Location -- close to lax and across the street from a big supermarket. Vibe -- staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty good selection for breakfast.

Hallways were noisy. Could hear everything in your room. Fan in room was noisy. Staff was outstanding!! Clean room and comfortable.

The location was good and the room was clean. My room was on a lower level and it felt like a basement. The wooden base of the bed is black and sticks out from the mattress and I clobbered my shin on it. Ouch.

We loved the pool, wish there was a hot tub though! The loungers are super comfy. Beds in the room were comfortable, not hard. The room and hotel were very clean. The infused water provided by the hotel in the lobby was refreshing. There’s a cute popcorn machine. Make sure to get a breakfast sand-which in the morning, they are good! We were happy that so many easy dining options were close by, like In-N-Out, Chipotles, a few Chinese restaurants, walgreens and Ralph’s as well. Wish the bar cocktails were a little better priced. Service all around was good from check in to check out. Will stay here again in between layovers * The continental breakfast kind of sucks , you should be able to have that stuff along with a hot item if you want, for the price.

RIP OFF! Charged $40 to park by an extremely rude front desk woman who offered no welcome or water after our long drive. Then our room was in the basement next to an alley! The alley was so loud from traffic and the “patio” door had no security to stop people from walking up to a window 5’ from your bed. The basement was also cold and the heater only blows cold stale air that’s louder than the traffic, so you have to choose. Unfortunately we got almost no sleep. I went up for the breakfast I pre-payed for and of course the ride women from the day before didn’t give us the vouchers. The breakfast was extremely limited and bad. The room was clean so we tipped the cleaning staff but would definitely stay at a different place. We’ve visited this area many times and never had such a bad experience

I was charged for a stay that didn’t even happen all because the only physical card I had was my cash app card and they couldn’t even do me the courtesy of helping me cancel my reservation. They said “contact the 3rd party (booking) to cancel and we will approve it” I submitted a request through booking to void my cancellation fee and Booking said the property never responded to them.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, & comfortable beds. The rooms are fairly quiet as well. You’ll be able to hear the unruly guests who are entitled & scream down the hallways, but regular talking doesn’t make it through the walls. The shuttle is a free & efficient way to get to LAX, which we have taken advantage of with almost every stay here.

Proximity to Airport, cleanliness, free airport shuttle I got in late and there was nothing open around it. I guess that’s the trade off with it being near the airport

Pet-friendly shuttle to airport great bed and clean room nice and efficient staff when the shuttle came he didn't have room for my kennel so had to wait for him to finish and return and I was so EX-HAUSTED. Never tried to shuffle luggage. I was so sad.

Love the artistic vibe of the property, but was disappointed with prices on available movies in the rooms, even old ones, $24! A bottle of water from the room was $12! The televisions do not have the capability of signing in to Netflix or others! We had a suite. This was very roomy, but lacked personality…a lot of open space that could have benefited from a piece of furniture here and there.

The hotel was modern and lively with great staff and clean facilities. There was plenty to do it almost gave off a resort style feel. Beds were comfortable. It had everything I needed. Breakfast was not free unless you had a breakfast voucher which I didn’t have. All in all the stay was pleasant, enjoyable and close to the LAX airport. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for a 24H layover. Supermarket right across the street so you can buy fresh fruit for your flight. Many healthy fast food options across the street. Manhattan beach not far. Shuttle is free and 24/7. Parking is $20 if check in is done online. They permit early check in at no cost. Pool and common space immaculate, modern, and well serviced. It is a tremendous value. Staying anywhere else would be a silly choice .

The restroom door didn’t close was broken the door lock was broken and bathroom mirror was stained black .

The bathroom had some moldy grout that needed to be replaced. The bar has limited hours , but when open she made me the best mojito. Overall a good stay, would stay again. Good location with lots of options for food, groceries, had a refrigerator but no microwave.

From the gift that I received when I walked through the door to the freshly popped popcorn every evening and the warm and friendly staff--front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, and maintenance. Lali was absolutely amazing and checked in on me throughout my entire stay 😊. Lali was so professional, caring, and attentive. With all the amenities and friendly staff, I would recommend Aloft El Segundo-LAX 1,000x!!

The refrigerator in my unit was old and very loud. I had to unplug it to go to sleep. The toilet was loose and rocked from side to side. I asked for a senior discount but was not aware I would get an ADA room. The mattress was very soft and very low to the ground. I also thought my booking included the continental breakfast - apparently id didn't and they wanted $15.95 for a continental breakfast!

No complaints other than a dark room, but they did provide us with a floor lamp. Great staff.

Christopher, the desk clerk, was very helpful in checking us in. Comfy bed. TV only had the Marriott channel, which didn't matter, we were so tired. Walking distance to many food choices and grocery store. We added on breakfast but were disappointed to find out it didn't open until 7 AM on weekends. Seems super late, and wish I knew that beforehand. Airport shuttle was on time and driver was helpful. Basic hotel, will cost you more if you want to upgrade anything that might be included at a more expensive hotel. (example, parking, breakfast, TV channels...) Clean, quiet, and easy access to LAX.

Was suprised at the pricing of a bottle water, at 6$ i could afford 2 burgers and fries with just 6$, also i was notified of the hands down deposit when i first checked in the hotel, Even i had paid all the bookings online, i was still asked to put down a 100$ for any damages or changes. This hotel is not fit for those looking to find a shelter from, a long and working travel day. Overral from my experience i would give this a 2/5 star. Very disappointed.

The room wasn’t clean. There was a thick buildup on the shower head. The towels had a foul smell. The was very dusty which aggravated my asthma.

Aloft is well located and the airport shuttle service was efficient. I found out that I was given a room still occupied after the check-in. Although it was swiftly changed but still annoying after a long flight. The bar is lively with decent snack foods.

Mediocre. The room was clean, but the sink didn't drain and the shower didn't work. The breakfast I paid for was bread (2 pieces saran wrapped togethe)r, bread (saran wrapped croissant), bread (packaged muffins), bread (cereal), bread (Quaker Oats granola bar), and a banana. Probably left out some kind of bread.

The air in the room is loud when turned on. The hotel overall seems a little run down. But the staff at check-in, the bar, breakfast, and housekeeping are stellar and very consistently amazing!

Very nice property. The outddoor patio overlooking the pool was really nice for having morning coffee alongside a gas fireplace. Has an okay view of the local street and apartments. Very quiet. Staff was very friendly. Room and lobby were always clean. Fresh popcorn in the afternoons. The bar was very luxe at night. Club-esque music throughout but very tasteful. Breakfast was mid; Dont pay in advance unless you just want carbs. Bathroom door is a sliding barn door so it has gaps and doesnt lock if youre staying with little kids or friends and want more privacy. I'd stay there again as a single or couple. More adult vibe so never saw a kid while I was there.

While I appreciate the effort to offer an alternative, relying on a portable heater is not an adequate or comparable substitute for a fully functioning in-room heating system. Additionally, the use of a space heater raised safety concerns and caused discomfort, as it did not sufficiently heat the room, particularly during nighttime hours. I chose your property with the expectation that essential amenities—including proper climate control—would be fully operational. This issue significantly impacted the comfort and quality of my stay.

The heat hasn’t worked in weeks

I had a power outage in my room. Then the room they tried to move me to, the key pad didn't work, so the maintenance guy Sa (sp) went down and got another room for us. This last room was cold and there was no heat. We overheard other guest saying that their rooms we extremely cold as well. The front dest clerks Christopher, Brenda and Citlalli were all very helpful. The WZYZ Bar always full of guest and the pool table was nice as well. I just wish they had a better smoking area near the fire pit.

I was overcharged for parking. The web site lists parking fees at a rate of $40 per night. I booked my reservation through Expedia and that service confirmed the $40/night fee. I was billed $55/night for 3 nights; and therefore, I would like a credit back on my MasterCard of $45. Please advise me of this charge back within 24 hours. I will be contesting this overage with my credit card provider by December 5 if I have not received your reply. Thank you.

This hotel was in a great location. My daughter and I stayed here for the weekend to attend a concert and take in a few local attractions. We got around by uber, but were able to safely walk to nearby restaurants and a grocery store. Hotel staff was friendly, rooms were clean and quiet and I would stay here again.

Great restaurant in the lobby, (W xyz). Menu was limited but food was delicious. Bartender made great drinks.

The stay was botched from the beginning because the check in required a $50 parking fee that was not super clear in the booking process. I think that an added cost should have a separate box in the booking where we have to accept the parking fee with a yes or no acknowledgment. In my confirmation there is no statement of a parking fee. I think you should stop doing business with hotels that charge this crazy fee.

It took awhile for shuttle to arrive. We finally called. Once we arrived we checked in at lobby which was also bar. Very noisy. Difficult to hear details related to overnight stay or directions to room. Outside of onsite experience we were disappointed with Expedia support in changing dates after they changed dates on returning flights. Ended up paying almost double the price for hotel. Limited support from Expedia.

We stayed here during a 16hr layover. The area is fine with fast food and grocery options steps away. Staff service was excellent and friendly. They were kind enough to give us a voucher to grab a continental breakfast as we left to catch the shuttle to LAX. The room itself was small, dark and smelled a bit musty and smelled of mildew. The pool area looks very nice though we didn’t have time to swim.

The stay wasn't yhat bad, but it was a water leaking under the sink in the bathroom when i told the front desk she said she was going to accommodate by taking off a night of parking and quoting me $110 for parking but still charging $165.

A nice hotel, the only downside i had was that room was on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel, so the outside doors open directly onto a service alleyway. So you had to keep the doors double locked and could not leave open for fresh air. If you get a room on a higher floor i think would be a much nicer experience

There’s a lot couple of options to eat outside and very close to the beach 5 min driving. I’ll definitely come back.

Bed was comfortable and the downstairs bar area was impressive which included a pool table. Great outdoor seating area as well.

2 nights for a layover before an international long haul flight. Hotel was fine for what we needed and in a good area that felt safe. Lots of food options nearby. Hotel room was very cramped and small, and felt “tired” - bathroom was dusty and lights rusted but I guess that doesnt impact overall stay, it just felt less than quality though. The beds were comfy so that was a win. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved the Popcorn in the lobby!

The property is conveniently located close to the airport and SoFi stadium for which we attended a concert. Other than that, not much to do around there. The rooms were decent and the staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel, staff was nice but we had to call at least 3 times to get towels and to ask if they can clean the room. While gone they only went and threw some trash out and took the dirty towels but nothing else. We still had an good experience and would give it another try.

Cool concept. Pool table and outdoor sitting areas. There were many large groups and it was loud. Staff was accommodating. We paid for breakfast but it was a continental breakfast and my husband couldn’t eat it will his diet restrictions. The menu should be listed when offered to add. We could have got breakfast at one of the many nearby restaurants. I’m amazed had to pay for what we got. The rooms were good but no microwave and the bathroom door is a peek a boo door that slides back and forth but is loud and sticks and hard to close completely.

The bed here was VERY comfortable, one of the best hotel beds I’ve had. My room was pretty dark and unexciting otherwise, but after a 15 hour flight I wanted a nice bed and I got it.

We disembarked from our ride, set things down on the bench near front door. Surely that is its purpose. I moved towards the check-in desk, returned to collect remaining items. Our drinking water and lemonade had already been thrown away. Argh! Toilet paper holder needs to be reattached to the wall, tp falls on the floor. (Room 432) Final argh goes to the driver of the shuttle who hinted for a tip 3 times, received it, then drove away leaving us at the wrong terminal. Okay, having said that, love the ambiance and design sensibility of this hotel. Colorful, playful and energizing. Seems that an aging property with ship’s portals has been transformed into a dynamic property.

This Alof is the worst ALOT I have ever stayed at, I always enjoy ALOT, and try to stay at ALOT is one is available. This ALOT is old and not sound proof, you can hear the neighbors. The shuttle driver was very unpleasant. Sorry to say this property is not up to the standard of the ALOT.

Overall a good experience staying and easy access to LAX Intl Airport through free shuttle 24/7. Room was nice and decent.

Room was clean, free from any odors, and included amenities like safe, refrigerator, big TV etc. The only flaw was there was a big wet spot on carpet and corner foot of bed. I really liked that there were several restaurants nearby including an In-N-Out Burger. Also a grocery store. This Aloft charged for parking, which I had not experienced at other Aloft Hotels.

The room are really small furniture is way to big for the room.

We needed a close airport stay while traveling overseas. These guys had an airport shuttle and the perfect location. We did not hear any flights overhead even though we were close to LAX.

When we got to our room it smelled like a sewer. With a call down to the front desk and a quick trip to pick up our new key, we were able to change rooms immediately. Staff was friendly and apologetic.

I liked that the property was close to LAX and offered free shuttle service to and from the airport. I also liked that the property was walking distance to a drug store, grocery store and different dining spots.

I booked 2 separate rooms for myself and a friend and before arrival my card was charged for 1 night for each room, although I selected to pay when I stayed because I knew my friend would be paying for her room with her own card. So I let the lady know I was charged for 2 nights already and I was only there for 2 nights. She explained she could do a refund but it would take 10 days to refund and my other option was to have my friend pay for the remaining balance during check out and that she would note everything under my reservation. When its time to check out at 3:30am we are told the system is doing a night audit and it would be about 20 mins which it took a lot longer and we had a flight to catch at 6am. Mean while the guy at the front desk is falling asleep and almost falls out his chair multiple times while waiting for this update. When the system finally comes back up he is so tired that he is delusional and not making any sense when I try to tell him what they lady says he is telling me something different and tells me the only additional charges that will be on card is for parking because I already paid for 2 nights and I am trying to tell him that one of the charges was for my friends room. At this point it was already 430 and I didnt want to miss my flight but I knew it was not correct and he was not understanding what I was saying and 2 days later I had another charge for another night plus parking. Horrible customer service.

The front desk staff on May 23, 2025 were phenomenal! They were so friendly. Between them and the cleaning staff, we were able to check-in early which we desperately needed after a 12 hour flight. The room was very comfortable. The only issue we had was what appeared to be coffee stains on the blanket. We were far too tired to say anything at the time. We just appreciated the excellent service.

I only stayed one night at Aloft El Segundo, but I was really impressed. Check-in was super easy and smooth, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The free airport shuttle was a big plus — very convenient and reliable. I didn’t get the chance to use the pool, but I wish I had! Overall, a great short stay and I’d definitely return.

Walls are a bit thin.

I left at midnight because I felt unsafe on the first night. Property refused to reimburse for remaining days. Bartender had no ingredients to make any drinks. Scammers hanging out at the bar. Room was dirty and smelled.

Stayed here for a concert at SoFi. Less than 30 minutes to stadium. The staff was phenomenal. The parking is a bit expensive, but to be expected. Lots of dining options, grocery store, and pharmacy right across the street.

I spend an 8 hours layover in LAX airport, shuttle services excellent and on time. The room was exceptional, super clean, comfortable and quiet. I'll come again here soon.

In general with all American hotels I have stayed in during this recent trip I prefer a higher temperature in the shower and more force in the water. Found that the interactive television features did not work, and the advertised "hot" breakfast option was discontinued: that said, the buffet breakfast option was excellent.

The worst experience ever! They charge $50 for parking per day (they don’t tell you this online). I was charged cocktails to my room, which I never had! I requested for housekeeping to clean my room at 9am and was told it was already late for them to clean the room. Never again!!

My first room was in the basement and the entire floor smelled like weed. I requested another room and was given a handicap room which did not lock from the inside. The bathroom sick filled with water. I took photos. No compensation was given. The i my good thing about this hotel is location and airport transfer.

Parking was $50 for under an 8 hour stay. I asked staff for other options nearby and they said there were none. Ended up parking next door at the Marriott for $20. Second floor smelled musty and felt damp. Thermostat did not raise the temperature higher than 65 degrees. No comforters, just sheets, so I was quite cold.

Clean and great location! The actual room was fine but did notice some wear and tear in areas like the bathroom mirror, door, and shower but nothing to complain about!

We had a nice stay at Aloft. It is close to the airport and staff were friendly. The only thing we didn’t like was the noise. It was hard to sleep with people talking and yelling in the hall and vacuuming at 10:45pm when we were trying to sleep.

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times. Still, overall a very pleasant experience and I’d definitely stay here again.

Good hotel but don’t get the rooms in the basement - Floor 1. Feels claustrophobic and my room was facing cars and foot traffic. Sink also didn’t really drain right and stunk a lot.

It was a nice hotel but I had a lot of trouble with my key card making me late for my activities at the gate in the parking lot. Also I feel like for the price I paid the room should have been bigger and have a microwave. But they only have one small microwave in the lobby. Also they had a lot of fees that’s wasn’t mentioned in the booking. Also if your under 21 you can’t check in even if the reservation is in your name, that also want mentioned. The beds were soft though.

"I never stayed at the hotel. I booked this through Expedia, which showed '5 rooms left to secure this deal.' I paid for the room upfront and was excited to have 'locked it in.' I was in close contact with the hotel and informed them that I would arrive at 10:30 PM to arrange a shuttle. They instructed me to call once I landed. However, my flight was delayed due to bad weather, and the hotel told me that they could give my room away if I didn’t check in on time. Apparently, the hotel was fully booked, and I was sent to another hotel without any notice—no text, email, or phone call.

This hotel has not much service. Be prepared to do everything yourself. No help at the door. The heater was not working for 3 days. And the people workomg at the lobby had no clue even the heater was working or not. Would not stay here again !

The stay was fine. Airport transportation was awful. Transportation is every 30 minutes and after waiting 20 minutes the shuttle arrived, but wouldn’t take anyone because although there were probably 20 empty seats he said there was no room for luggage. My group of three only had three carry ons. So we had to wait 30 minutes more for the next shuttle. Others took Uber but since I had kids without car seats I couldn’t get an Uber. We arrived just in time but almost missed the flight. If I hadn’t left early I definitely would’ve missed the flight. If you need to use the shuttle I recommend a different hotel with more frequent shuttles.

We liked the pool and outdoor seating area - great when the weather is nice Staff was very nice I liked the lemon water and popcorn available for snacks in the evening Shuttle to and from airport was nice Many eating options all within an easy walk from the hotel and a market across the street Cons: TV only had cable channels and wasn't very responsive. The hotel would gain more points from me if they had streaming services available on the TV Hot tub at the pool would be a great addition The bar is up the stairs from the pool and seating area. It would be nice to add a Menu with a QR code where you could order drinks to either be brought down or picked up from the bar I like they had live music but it was 4x louder than it should be. We could not hear the Staff at all and would not have considered watching the LIVE music with how loud it was. I could hear it a bit from our room 2 floors down.

Aloft has become my go to hotel when I need to run errands across the city. The rooms are big enough to work in and there are fast food and casual restaurants within walking distance. It's also minutes to the airport.

The hotel offered a shuttle to the airport upon our departure. They also suggested a LosAngeles tour that picked us up right at the Aloft. That felt safe and convenient.

Great jazz

It was a very nice hotel for one night. Our room was missing the floor lamp. So it was very dark. Our family had 3 rooms and the ac didn’t work in any of the rooms. I asked for a floor lamp and they told me they didn’t have any extra. No ice machines but you could go down to the bar and get ice. Not super convenient.
