    My husband went downstairs to speak with the receptionist, and the only solution she offered was a fan. A few minutes later, security showed up with a fan like around 1 AM, with two kids, in a hot room, with no working outlets to even charge our phones. That was her “solution.” I went down myself to ask for a room change, and she told me there were no rooms available, only the fan. Then she added that if I wanted to go to another hotel, I was “welcome to do that” and she would refund me. Imagine being told that at almost 2 AM with two little kids. So that’s exactly what I did, I left and booked a much better hotel for a better price. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. Do NOT come to this place.

    The reception was good but they only allowed us to get a hotel room at 4 pm. We got a room on the first floor and the room AC was terrible and couldn’t cool the room. Not a good experience. The breakfast good btw.

    The breakfast is great and the hotel has a home vibe. We stayed 4 days and it was a great price. We did have some issues with the water pressure and also there were some ants at the sink when you turn on the faucet. Also, the air didn’t work in the room, it wasn’t an issue where it made us move to a different hotel or worth the change. We let management know and they came to the room to fix the other issues. We were out most of the day at night so it was perfect for what we needed and In N Out is right across the street in walking distance as well as other restaurants and stores. For the price, shuttle, and breakfast it was great.

    I had a very pleasant stay and the breakfast was great with a lot if healthy choices. Great place families. The king bed with sofa pullout room was perfect. It was spacious and clean. The courtesy shuttke wss also a great perk.I would definitely come back again!

    We were just staying the night after a long trip and before we were to fly back home the next morning. The staff was very accommodating. Unfortunately, it seemed like the air conditioning unit was not functioning properly, and the building mechanic was already gone for the day, as it was late. They were kind enough to provide us with a fan. When we woke up, though, the carpet under the A/C unit was soaked. Thankfully, none of our personal items were underneath. The toilet paper dispenser was also starting to come off the bathroom wall. A for the staff, but probably a C for the building/room just from our experience.

    The room was big and the people were welcoming when I got in really late at night. And the were super accommodating with breakfast. The tv did not work. It was a little confusing to actually get to the room maybe a few more signs to show where you should be going. The follow the butterflies were a good start but me and few others got lost along the way.

    Check in at 11pm was a nightmare. We had fully paid for our stay and they could not get us into a room until after midnight. There was a line and we were exhausted. The next day at 4 pm there was another line going out the door while they tried to place all the people with reservations. The included breakfast was good! Lots of choices including cooked eggs. Everything about the breakfast, including the flatware, was disposable, so not very environmentally concerned. I would not stay here again.

    We had no A/C and our shower broke. They told us for 2 hours someone was coming to fix A/C then finally said it couldn’t b fixed without ever coming to the room. They did bring us a fan. And they refunded our $$. But would certainly never stay there again!

    I like the free shuttle service to and from the airport. The room was large and cleaned every day. The staff was very nice. These are my email content that was not answered by hotel so I changed I have a problems. 1) I checked out on 4 May 2026. The amazon return packet still did not given to the UPS officer. Please printout the label and deliver my return package to UPS people. The details are attached to you in my mail. Just print out and give the UPS cargo officer or who is the responsible for the delivery for your hotel. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards,I ordered an amazon package and it arrived very late after I check out from the hotel. The only thing the receiptionists to do is to give that package by printing the ups code. But they still did not reply my dozens of mails. They promised that they would do on my last day. But still could not. Please answer my mail and return my package.

    Good location, close to the airport and to Manhattan beach. Clean rooms Good Breakfast included Sometimes you can experience long lines at the frontdesk. The shower could be better, with more water pressure. We were in the first floor, close to the pool and it was suuuuuper noisy.     I liked the bed and the showers were large. Well first when we went there we were trying to get in early check-in. We ended up having to get a room with two beds which was not on your guys's site that we got on booking with you guys we got one king size bed and we didn't ask for two beds We ended up getting no air conditioning on our honeymoon day. we would have like to get what we what we spent on the website. We wanted to spend the night a comfortable room but unfortunately we had to stay in a small bed which I'm a big man I'm 6'3 and 300 lb and I had to stay on a full bed or queen size not sure with my lady and a hot room feeling like I'm in a sauna and when I made that notification to the staff they were very not up on the person maintenance person to help so he was busy doing something else he came very late like about 3 hours late with a fan to put on which the fan was not really suitable for keeping cool it was a little thin fan that Harley blew out any air.unfortunately it was that great as far as that goes in when we had to move rooms to the fifth floor and my leg is very hard to walk on which was obvious to the staff when they see me walk in and they went ahead and put me in the furthest top floor had to go over a bridge to get to my room and had to use stairs to get through shortcuts to the elevator which was very unsuitable.

    The Room Cleaning Service was the most disappointing experience of our two nights stay. I requested a linen change as our sheets had an odor of sweat, the room service guy was very rude and told me to inform the receptionist, which I did several times and was assured that it would be replaced by fresh sheets. To our surprise, when we returned back to our room that evening the job wasn’t done!!! We had to sleep on those filthy beds for another night. Guess Fairfield/Marriott has to review the contract with the owners/management.Never again in this Lousy Hotel and strongly advise others to think twice before making reservations here!!!

    The staff was welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The room was clean and though we were next to the airport, quiet. The only thing is that the room was “tight”. You could not bring the luggage cart fully into the room due to the position of the furniture. Would definitely stay again.

    After waiting tired frustrated. Reception gave us our room key and didn’t tell us there’s two sides of the hotel West/ East. After finding the room. We open the door to find it was occupied for someone else with their luggage and personal items. After calling front desk help sent to provide a different room on the East side. Finally arrive and the rooms AC, toilet, shower low water pressure, floor fan, no cold water NOT WORK. This was the most horrible hotel service. All the hotel reimburse was one night. This Fairfield Hotel has bad management. I would of expected full return.

    My room was very small and not like the picture. The door frame looked damaged and the lock didn’t feel very secure. The thermostat did not work and the room was warm and sticky. I tried calling down to the Front Desk and the room phone didn’t work, and they didn’t answer when I called from my cell. I went back to the Front Desk to tell them about the thermostat and I was switched to a different room. The second room was very different from the first - much larger, felt more updated and cleaner, the thermostat and phone worked. Overall, this property gave me the impression that Marriott bought out an old motel and did a very poor job of renovating it, even varying from room to room. Housekeeping came to my room 45 minutes before checkout and attempted to enter, returning again about 15 minutes later. I was disappointed in the overall quality, especially for the price.

    This hotel had an amazing breakfast, pool, and friendly staff for an overnight stay from the airport. Highly recommend!

    We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. The day of check out, we needed to see off one of our group at an earlier flight before our own flight which left 6 hours later. I asked for late check out and got an answer that we could get that for only 1 room, not 2, because the double twin room was in higher demand. This is pointless and meaningless. I don’t think you are being creative enough if you can’t figure out for us to get late check out for both rooms.

    As we arrived early, they were able to store our luggages until a room was available. Although we had to pay an additional cost or early check-in. The staff were friendly.     The staff was very nice & helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room, however, was not comfortable. The air conditioning did not work & an employee tried to work on it but he couldn’t fix it & we got no apologies, no “let’s try something else”- we got nothing to help us. We literally had to sleep with our balcony door open slightly so I didn’t sleep well worrying about the door! The inside door to our room had something all over it greasy & gritty. Not a pleasant stay.

    Didnt get what i paid for. False advertisement about a living room space but when i got there is was a regular room. When i mentioned it to the manager no apology no resolution just throw the blame on the 3rd party booking company, then when we get checked in the AC didnt work at all had to be moved again. weekend vacation was kinda ruined after this experience i felt like they didn't care.

    Upon room assignment, I was on the 1st floor and the balcony door would not shut fully or lock. Maintenance was sent and the door was unable to be fixed. I waited another 30 min and contacted the front desk and finally received a 2nd room. Same issue w/ this room--balcony door would not shut or lock and the thermostat was inoperable. I then went to the front the desk to be assigned a 3rd room which smelled of pet odor. At that point I was exhausted from traveling and just settled for the room. I was quite disappointment in the room conditions overall. Please note that the staff was very friendly.

    We got to the property before check in and they were happy to hold our bags in a secure place and we were able to use the swimming pool and pool area. When checkin was available, it was done quickly and with friendly people. The room was very nice, but was hard to get cool enough. The breakfast was very good and although it was busy, it was clean and there was a wide selection of food. We will definitely be back!

    The check in staff was amazing. Very efficient, helpful and friendly. The rooms have a very musty smell from the split AC units leaking. We arriving after 9pm and the shuttle took a long time to get us to the hotel. That’s mostly an LAX traffic issue and not so much the driver’s fault.

    Front desk staff were friendly, and the room was clean. Our room A/C wouldn't turn on so it was hot in our room. Also, the morning shuttle driver to the airport was a bit rude by raising his voice when I asked him to clarify what he asked us. He also muttered something under his breath about nobody tipping him.     We called for a free shuttle ride from TBIT terminal and they sent a small van that couldn’t hold all bags and riders. The driver didn’t ask who had been waiting longest so we ended up waiting 1 hour in total. The shuttle had a window lever that would vibrate annoyingly. Our AC also didn’t work so they downgraded us from a King Pool area to just plain King room but didn’t give us a credit for the difference (I checked later and they said there is no difference but there was). They did give me a free Diet Pepsi at my request for the hassle. Otherwise the room was fine. The rug going to rooms is hard to push luggage on. The bathroom in the replacement room has a leak on the water adjustment knob but was otherwise functional. The staff beyond the issues were friendly. I found the assistant manager (can’t remember name) to be fantastic. Not the greatest experience but not my most horrible one either.

    Left too early for the breakfast and didnt swim in the pool. After checking in we had noticed the ac wasn’t working in the room I booked. The staff found an extra room quickly.     This property disappointed me. For one in room microwave was advertised as a group with children It comes in handy. It was NOT there. I noticed upon entering the room the window was open didn't think much of it, it was more than likely due to the fact the AC did NOT work. I called regarding the matter a fan was brought up as of course the were unable to provide a better room. Outside of that I'm glad I was able to find free parking because $40 more for an already unpleasant experience does NOT sound ideal. I would commend the on duty manager for offering that fan as well as a discount towards my stay. But Cmon now do better! Rather 1st, 3rd or 7th party booking guest stay/ customer service should be provided top tier.

    When I arrived, there was no free parking, and I was told my car would be towed, so I had to pay $40 to park in a dark, unsafe-feeling lot. The lobby had a strong mildew/urine smell, which unfortunately continued throughout the hotel. The staff member at check-in was nice, but the layout is confusing. Directions were unclear, and the “butterfly” sticker wall guides were tacky and unhelpful. I got lost and had to return to the lobby for help. My first room smelled like kitty litter and urine. It was dusty, dirty, and the tub had visible grime. The room phone didn’t work, so I had to go back downstairs to request another room. The second room was no better same smell, dirty surfaces, mold in the shower, a hole in the wall, and filthy handrails. The shower setup felt extremely low quality. The bed was rock hard, the curtain was broken and stained, and didn’t close fully, which felt unsafe. Being on the first floor, I heard every noise above me. The heater barely worked. I paid $178 for one night completely not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Save your money and stay somewhere better. I have photos to support everything mentioned.

    I am extremely disappointed with the service at Farfield. We arrived from Hawaii at 1 am in Los Angeles and the next day we were flying to San Francisco. The service was poor; they put us in a room with two small beds when we paid for a king-size bed. The air conditioning wasn't working, and when we complained, they couldn't change our room, only give us a fan! Terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it or stay there again.

    We got there late after traveling and immediately it smelled horrible. We crammed into the tiniest elevator that we thought was going to break at any moment and got to our room. The first room that is. We got in there and it was completely filthy. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned from the last guest. We went down and were given a new room but we were already a foot out the door just from the smell alone. We went up to our new room, again cramming into a tiny elevator that didn’t even display the correct floor numbers on the screen. Not even going to go in depth of the floor cleanliness. We get to our new room, clean ish this time. The smell though was just too much. In hindsight I should’ve checked if it was pet friendly because it was evident the furniture had been scratched up and I don’t even want to imagine what kind of things lurked in that carpet. The pictures are false advertisement. No matter the convenience of location I did not feel safe or clean in that hotel. I would not book here again.

    Stayed the night before flying out of LAX. The hotel had all you could ask for. Clean rooms, airport shuttle runs every 30minutes, and the breakfast was fantastic (eggs, sausage, waffle maker, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, juices and most importantly coffee). Location also has an In-and-out, grocery story, and lots of other places to eat right across the street. The beds weren’t super comfortable but they were good enough. Pool was heated and clean and they had fresh towels at the pool. I would absolutely stay there again.

    Great Location for getting back and forward to Los Angeles city , downtown, garment district, etc. Metro train is about 4 to 5 blocks from the hotel Great Location for getting back and forth to LAX airport. Great Location for Segundo exploration including beach . There is a Mall about 1 mile from the hotel. The hotel has a swimming pool , bar, and it's across the street from in & out burgers, grocery store , Star Bucks, Jersey Subs, Anytime fitness, other restaurants. Etc There was complimentary Airport transportation and the rooms were very spacious. The hotel is right next door to A/C hotel and they share airport transportation buses. I hit the jackpot. There was nothing that I didn't like about my stay.

    This time, the situation was no different, except that LA County was experiencing a heat wave. I was moved twice because the air conditioning didn’t work. I had to walk from my second-floor room to get the keys and move myself and all my belongings twice. I decided to stay in the second room because we had walked another room, and the air conditioning ran for less than 60 seconds. A manager did find a room where the air conditioning allegedly worked, but my baby and I were going down for a nap after a long day in traffic. I had to demand that the manager and maintenance person check the room before and ensure the air conditioning worked. Before that, I had to do it myself. I paid to be put to work, all while being uncomfortable!

    The room was clean but very small. The front desk was courteous and professional and handled the rush of people with ease and confidence. It was quiet in the hotel which helped with sleep. We enjoyed being able to walk across the street to In-N-Out and the free shuttle to and from the airport.

    The air/heating unit in the room was broken and it was ~80’degrees so we could not sleep. We tried to fix it and then asked at the desk and were told they’re having issues with many of them so they had no more fans to offer us. They ultimately came later in the night with a fan, which was good but woke my kids up from their short sleep before an early am flight. There was not a single bar of soap in the bathroom (we had to request some) and only 2 towels for 4 people staying. I’ve never written a bad hotel review before this but this was our worst experience and we travel a lot!

    Staff was courteous upon check in. Rooms are a bit dated for the price. Perhaps improve the hinges and locks on the room doors as they all seem to slam hard upon closing and the lock would not latch. Parking is a short walk across the street, but for the amount charged for parking, you would think it would be onsite.

    The employees were very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit on the old side but not horrible. They originally gave us a room with the ac not working properly. They moved us to an upgraded room where the ac leaked all over the carpet but worked much better. The breakfast is reasonably but nothing outstanding. You are able to use the sister property next door which is nice. I like to go to the gym which was pretty small but not horrible.

    The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location close to the airport was great for what we needed. The breakfast was good, and it was nice that checkout wasn’t until 12:00. We were there in February, so it was too cold to use the pool, but it looked like it had a nice pool area. The only problem was our room needed some maintenance. A large patch of wallpaper was peeling, and our bathtub drained really slowly. Could have used new lamps too. But mostly it was a good stay.

    I’m giving it 5 stars even though our room smelled weird. Because the location was fantastic.!we booked a couple of nights before our cruise and it was in easy walking distance to in and out, a Ralfs, and a nail place. The pool was great and the breakfast was too. Also the shuttle service from the airport was convenient.

    Outdated rooms with poor lighting and bed sheets/towels that should have been removed a long time ago. You can hear everything-neighbors, employees, people talking in the hall, etc (at least on the ground floor). I did not try the complimentary breakfast. The one thing that works well is the shuttle service. Runs 24/7, every 30 minutes.

    This hotel was great. If I’m ever in LA again, I will stay here. The area was convenient and safe. There were many choices to eat nearby. The staff was great and friendly. The lobby area was open and inviting. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage behind the desk while we went to explore. The breakfast had a lot of options and very well kept.

    Our second stay in less than 3 weeks. Staff was great, breakfast was very good. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the condition of the tub in the bathroom. There was mildew in the caulking around the tub. This is easy to fix and there is no excuse for it.

    The shuttle from the airport was handy. The check in process was quick. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a courtyard with the pool and a cozy gas fire pit to sit around, visit and have a refreshment. It has an adequate breakfast which was part of our room package. It is located across the road from a grocer, and easy walking distance to several eateries. We found Larry, and any staff we encountered friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay there again.

    I stayed here for about two weeks. The room was clean. The remote was messed up for the first like week I was there but then it randomly started working. If you’re staying in the west tower, you’re gonna have a hard time finding your room. And the front staff isn’t very helpful in directions. When I first arrived, I had to go back to the front desk a few times to get clarification. The guy that was working up there were super friendly. He didn’t mind giving me directions, but he wasn’t able to walk me to where I needed to go because he had to stay up at the front. Throughout the course of me staying there every time I would walk to the lobby and then back to my room, there were guests confused like I was when I first got there. And it happened like numerous times I would give people directions. And they were so appreciative, because it was kind of irritating. Not only that but the parking is offsite. It’s literally across the street. I stayed there for quite a while so numerous times I saw employees partying at their cars in the parking lot where the guests parked their cars and they would leave all their trash everywhere. 711 pizza boxes, twisted tea cans. Etc. and I know it was the employees because I would see them around the grounds. I didn’t personally really care. It’s just an observation. Oh I forgot to mention that the sink in the bathroom had a gross smell. When I first got there and checked in the sink was plugged- I assume that the maids did this so it didnt smell.

    When travelling through LAX we always stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites. While the building may be old and dated, the hotel is clean, rooms are spotless, great shuttle service, good location with restaurants nearby with in walking distance, etc. But most of all the staff are all courteous and accommodating. Highly recommend.

    The room we stayed in had major issues, the AC / heat didn’t work at all, there were no pillows or blankets when we arrived (staff provided upon request), the bathroom door wouldn’t close, the balcony dirty and inaccessible, dead spider in the shower, the bathroom sink was moldy and rusty and loud noises of moving furniture started very early in the morning. The breakfast was meh, the fruits ran out and were not replenished. The shuttle was convenient but felt like it was falling apart. I would not recommend this place and feel terrible that Expedia offered it to me. I thought Expedia had a better vetting process of which places they offer on the platform

    Room was gross, floor was soft and made me nervous to walk, dead bolt would not close no matter how i pushed or lifted door, door metal piece was broke off, tub would not seal for bath, shampoo was broke off wall, guys sitting outside smoking meth from a can. Wouldn't give me info on how to call shuttle to get coat i left. Then get home to be told $100 hold on card will take 7-12 days to drop off? 😤 Literally only good part was breakfast spread

    Arrived the first night around 9 PM. Front desk was nice and eventually got us in our room. The room was nice, but the A/C was not working. Obviously they knew this because the window was left open. I told the front desk. We finally got to sleep, but could hear everything outside. Next morning we had to get up early and would be out the entire day. I told the front desk again that it was not operational and had an error. He asked if they could send a technician in while I was gone, I said yes. Got back late that evening, still NOT operational. No note, no explanation. Had to sleep with the window open again. I was not happy at this point. Our flight was so early the next day, I didn’t say anything. Just waited to explain to anyone that would listen. Not much good sleep occurred because of noise. The staff was nice, but if you can’t correct a Marriott and Hotel.com members problem or give an explanation, don’t really have much for you anymore. Fairfield Inn gets 2 stars.

    The shuttle bus is terrible. We had to wait for 1 hour and 15 minutes mid night to catch the shuttle bus to the hotel. We called the hotel when we arrived at the airport, was told that will be 20 min. We waited for 30 min then we called the hotel again. 5 min later a small van came but it was full. We had to wait for another 40 min to catch another bus. They claimed that was traffic but it was midnight. If they can tell us from beginning, we can take the uber instead of waiting 75’ mid night after a long flight.

    After a pleasant experience checking in, we went to our first floor room which reeked of midlew and wet dog. We returned to the front desk, and were quickly moved to another room, this time on the second floor, which smelled less like mildew and more like cat piss. We didn't bother asking again as the front desk had gotten crowded and we didn't think any room would be better. The parking situation is weird too, being an unattended, dark lot across the street. On our second night we were notified that parking cost $40 a night, which we were not aware of. Between that and the fact the room stank we checked out early and instead drove home. I wish the facilities were up to the quality standard of the staff!

    I had to call 4 times to get the shuttle. We waited over 35 minutes when we were told first time 15-20 minutes, then 7 minutes… very frustrating. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was very good. Room was clean, but the air conditioner rattled and creaked all night. Didn’t keep the room cool at all.

    We checked in on Tuesday and the team was really nice (Vicky, Monse, and Gabriel) and helpful. We had a bit of trouble with our room being a bit stinky and the AC not working. We went back to the front desk and spoke with Vicky walked us to another 2 rooms until we found one that had an AC working properly and said that if the following day we wanted to be moved she would be more than happy to help get that situated. We all loved the popcorn up front, hot chocolate station and the cucumber water. Overall we were pleased with our room, customer service and the ability for all named above to go above and beyond to help us thoroughly be comfortable during our stay. We will be letting others know about Fair Field and coming back when in California. Thanks again from Texas.

    We arrived at the hotel at 9:30AM from a 15 hour international flight, and were told there was no early check in and check in was at 4:00 PM, but we could help ourselves to breakfast, which we did. As time went by the breakfast was closed, the lobby was empty of travellers and we were waiting. I felt very unwell asked if it was possible to get in our room because we were checking out at 6 AM the next morning. I was told we could wait until 2PM and pay $40 and get in a room as long as the rooms were cleaned. It was obvious that the hotel was empty but we could not afford to pay the extra since we are pensioners. As time went by I was getting more unwell so waited to 2PM and paid the extra $40 to get the room. We have been in that situation before where we arrived early and were given a room at no extra cost. We are very disappointed that we had to pay that extra money especially since we were checking out so early the next morning. We will think twice about using your hotel in the past. It would be nice if you had a provision for travellers such as we to be able to check in earlier especially since the hotel was empty anyway. Also by the way the front desk girl was unable to answer questions about local restaurants, other services and grocery stores in the area.

    The staff was fine. But I have never slept in a noisier room. Between the traffic at ground level and being directly under the flight path, I barely slept at all. The driver of the shuttle to LAX, while extremely nice and helpful, got sort of forced into picking up passengers on the way around the horseshoe, dramatically slowing the trip around the airport, which was already at a crawl on a Friday morning. They should do one run to drop off, and the next run to pick up. People have planes to catch.

    A great value.Service was excellent - all staff were courteous and helpful - breakfast bar was always clean and fully stocked. Breakfast bar also had lots of choice and healthy options. Location is safe and convenient with many restaurants and a grocery store a short walk away. The only downside -t the facility is dated. Nevertheless, it was always kept clean and the price was right, so I did not deduct a star.

    We had a one night stay between flights. It was a little difficult to find the shuttle pick up location at LAX, but once we did everything went smoothly. Love that the shuttle is available 24hrs. The chcck in staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay here again if needed for a short stay.

    Overall the property & staff were exceptional. The only issue I had was the shuttle service. I had to call the hotel three times. It was well over an hour before the shuttle made it to us (third time we saw him). The other two times he wasn't even in the lane to pick us up. It was very frustrating.

    If you are sensitive to mold/musty smell- do not stay here. We had an overnight layover and checked in late at night, the room smelled horrible (room 405). Tried to air it out, left the door open for over an hour and it didnt make much of a difference. I requested a different room and it wasn't any better. Slept a few hours and left as soon as possible. On the other hand, the front desk staff was very kind and the breakfast was decent.

    The fan in the bathroom dripped water on you as you went to the bathroom. The water never ever got really hot to take a shower. Couldn't get the curtains closed so we had lights shining in all night long. We were on the bottom floor so there was a wet damp musty smell and the walls need to be cleaned as you can see the oily fingers from others felt behind. Also, the staff when calling for airport pickup left you on hold for ever that after 25 minutes it was easier to hang up and call back. Their excuse was they are busy, I know that but I was also a paying customer.
