It was a wonderful experience and clean room and service

The location of the hotel is nice. Well hidden from a busy street. The rooms were below average. The fridge cabinet door was broken. The fridge did not keep it stuff as cold even at the highest setting. Most of the handles of the in room cabinets were either broken or loose. The one chair by the desk was broken and not safe to sit on. The bathroom was ok. The shower was average clean. The beds were good to sleep in. The elevator was broken and we were taking the janitor/workers elevator to get to the lobby. My daughter wanted to go to the pool but it was a hard pass. Indoor pool and it was so muggy and humid in there. You couldn't breathe. Overall, I would go back and Im sure I could get a better place for the same price I paid for. But just to give it another chance. Hopefully next time they have improved greatly.

Overall property is good but location is a bit far from the airport. Could also need a bit of renovations

We knew going in that this stay would require compromise. The price was very attractive, and for us, that was the priority. But...we were anticipating an 'older', somewhat worn out environment, and that's what we found. The room is a very spacious 'suite' layout with a full living room, (desk, pull-out couch, kitchen with safe/microwave/refrigerator and French doors leading to the bedroom. The bedroom, (King bed for our stay), had its own tv and there was a sliding door to fully close off the master from the living/bath. The bath had a single pedastal sink/toilet/tub with a shower curtain. The 'bones' of the facility are solid, but everything needs a refresh. And, while we were there, one of the two elevators was out of service and wait times were 5 minutes +. Needs $ for a renovation because location, (right off Hwy 90) + pool + full bar/restaurant + adjacent to massive Busse woods forest preserve + free parking = great value and upside potential!

Everything was great at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, the bed was comfortable and Kenny at the bar I want to give him 100 stars he was the BEST! The only thing was that it is a little outdated the sink knibs in the bathroom was rusted and needs an upgrade.

Not clean and old

I didn't like anything I was surprised that I have two rooms booked under my name for 1 night when I only booked 1 room for 2 nights. Also, the lady at the desk was so rude..

The atmosphere is very chill and welcoming. Staff was very friendly and was quick to help with any problem! If very clean and neat. The ice machine was down and it says online the pool water was suppose to be heated but the water was very cold.

Beautiful building, smelled really nice in the lobby area! Rooms was small, not the cleanest, some furniture was broken and dirty! Stains in curtains, ripped curtains! Stains on the walls broken bathroom vanity! Beds were very uncomfortable and small to be queen sized! The microwave area wasn’t the smartest idea because it got really hot when it was put to use I felt like that should’ve been on top of the counter and not inside. The hallway wall as were dirty and peeling off. It’s a nice hotel just need a better cleaning, I did put out an complaint on my room so the service helped a lot and the person at the front desk helped a lot so that’s a plus.

This is my first time to live Sheraton hotel far away downtown, but it really surprised me! Very clean, and quiet. I get a good sleep and feel comfortable. Big space and enough privacy. I will definitely to choose this hotel for next Chicago trip!

I sent multiple messages through booking, called and left VM for GM and then tried emailing him directly. Front desk agents said only he could help me with my concern. I tried over a week to contact him and never heard back. Won’t be booking again.

Nice hotel, good experience.

I arrived at 1:30 AM. She put me in a room for handicapped for the first night with the option of chaneging the next day. I did not mind the safety bars and didnt mind staying in that unit for all 4 days. Spending tge night i noticed a few items which needed attention. I made a list and was at front desk very early requsting to be moved. I ALSO REQUESTED A Better view of the lake. For my trouble she gave me 2 cpmplimentory breakfast buffet tickes which helped a lot. I was alone without a transportation and dined in the resturant for teu
- 4/5
The place was undergoing some maintenance, so only 1 elevator worked, so it took awhile to get up/down. Thermostat didn't work in room and the shower curtains are cloth, so water was just dripping out of the tub. The room was nice though and the price was right for just 1 night. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
The hotel room is and was outdated. Bathtub had a blackish brown stain in it by the drain. Curtins were dirty old. No water in the room, bottle. Had a coffee maker but with no bottle water?? But the worst was the room had a cigarette smell in it. Called down to see if it was a smoking room they stated no. The hotel itself had old elevators, old floor tiles old everything. Just very dated. From the outside you would imagine nice, but inside? I wanted to like it. Not a nice property and definitely not a 3 or 4. I would Easley mark it as a 2.
- 2/5
The staff had terrible attitudes, the lobby had vomit in multiple areas, the air conditioning was out, the elevator was out and the one that was available too 10+ minutes. Everything about the pool was 0/10, it was freezing, the water was cold, no and they do not have a hot tub. Lastly FINALLY, the property is EXTREMELY outdated. All in all the room wasn’t terrible but the minor inconveniences inconvenienced my entire stay.
- 4/5
Pool was a little small, and the room was a little cold, but nice for us and our toddler! Our AC in our room didn’t really work, so we had to go buy a fan. I would stay again if the AC worked better.
- 5/5
Good comfy room
- 4/5
Very friendly and curteous staff. Good facility even though its getting a bit older.
- 5/5
Stay here a few times a year. Service is good, rooms are clean, nice location for getting around.
- 3/5
Staff was fantastic, my only complaint is the toilet was not flushing properly and needed multiple services during my week stay.
- 1/5
It was really bad , I don’t like it
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 3/5
room was cold - heater was not working properly.
- 2/5
This hotel is am embarrassment to Marriot. Filthy carpets, dirty damaged bathrooms. It snowed and the parking lot was icy, snowy and not plowed. Treacherous! They didn't have anything to help me clean off my car. The breakfast was awful. Do we need to crowdfund for a working toaster maybe? Just stay somewhere else. If you must stay there, enjoy the bartender. He's super kind.
- 4/5
There was only one elevator working, but they had the service elevator working as well. There was still a long wait for an elevator at times. There was no cooling system available in the room was hot, so we left the windows open. When we got there, there was pubic hair in the bathtub and a used wash cloth laying underneath the shower curtain on the tub side other than that or stay was pleasant
- 2/5
Mila at check-in was SO kind and SO nice but the experience so far is awful. 10pm, room not ready. Waited to get in my room. 3rd floor hallway carpet is soaking wet with a very loud dryer fan running. Room is fine but who is managing this place? And who is maintaining it? Not Sheraton/Marriot quality. More like Red Roof Inn.
- 2/5
The room was EXTREMELY HOT and this was without the heat being on. The thermostat was switched to their winter mode so no cooling, but there were 70 degree days in November and the full sun shining on my room was unbearable. Also the hotel was down to 1 working main elevator due to an "elevator upgrade". I would probably also focus on giving the inside a facelift when it comes to peeling paint or drywall repair patchwork that's left unpainted. Staff were all great despite the hotel conditions.
- 5/5
Didn’t use parking . The hotel was great seemed like home away from home.
- 4/5
Staff were polite and it was nice to have a bar.
- 5/5
Seamless check-in
- 4/5
The hotel was really nice and staff was really friendly. The only problem was it was extremely hot in the rooms and the air conditioning or opening a window did not help the stuffiness in the hallways or rooms. This by itself make me not want to come back.
- 4/5
Dont drink
- 4/5
Nice hotel to stay, spacious room and great location, it’s a bit old fashioned but good enough
- 5/5
The hotel is nice with large executive rooms. The staff is excellent. Only thing that is lacking is a proper restaurant and bar. You cannot walk anywhere for a meal or coffee, you need to have a car or ride share.
- 5/5
Hotel was good, room was very comfortable. Staff was amazing. I would recommend a bit of refurbishment through the hotel, I think it feels just a bit dated. But otherwise, it's good. Great location
- 4/5
I liked the all suite rooms and the patio and area to walk and enjoy the ponds.
- 5/5
Very disappointed that while asleep at 8 am the cleaning person did not knock just opened the room door and came in. According to hotel policy staff would not clean until 12 PM. Spoke with the front desk staff who was amazing (5 stars).
- 2/5
I don't like the service. I booked 2 nights. We miss the flight. They let us stay the second night after we complaint.
- 1/5
Broken elevator! So inconvenient! Front desk staff were awesome! But the elevator issue was very concerning!
- 5/5
Friendly, clean, big room.
- 4/5
The garbages did not have liners. The floors needed to be cleaned and overall TLC to the place. Desk chair was not comfortable and very worn. The bed was comfortable and the shower head had excellent water pressure and hot water was hot. The food was great and the place was spacious
- 4/5
Food was excellent.
- 4/5
It was close to the mall
- 2/5
Only one working elevator, then it would not work to go down. Room has not had updates, things are definitely falling apart, obvious signs of unkept maintenance. Room was extremely cold when entering and thermostat was set to 79. Fine for a nights stay but likely would pick somewere else next time.
- 4/5
My husband and I booked this hotel for a concert at Allstate Arena. The hotel was hidden back behind businesses but was easy to find. Check in was easy but I’ll say the hotel definitely needs some love. Our room wasn’t the cleanest. There was a bag left from the previous stay and the fridge smelled. Our sink had a huge crack in the bowl. The walls felt thin and we could hear most people in their rooms while walking down the halls. All things aside we could easily overlook it for a single nights stay but definitely not the best hotel we’ve stayed in.
- 3/5
Everytime flight attendant group checks in, it takes so long to get on it. Bathroom wear and tear is getting worse and twice I checked in the room has no towels. Management has no excuses.
- 3/5
Easy access to highway
- 5/5
Great comfy stay
- 3/5
A/c was set so low we were freezing.
- 4/5
Front desk staff not friendly
- 4/5
This is a big hotel in a secluded/safe area with a small surprise lake (unique). Also well appointed lobby and bar. Did not like that it was understaffed (check-in), there was no housekeeping services available, and elevators were down/slow.
- 5/5
I enjoy my stay here every time I visit Chicago
- 1/5
was put in room 348 that had a leaking toilet, soaking wet floor by the front door , also tv did not work in the bed room.
- 2/5
Outdated and our room was terrible. Tub shower did not drain, the faucet handles were loose, and the bathroom door was difficult to open/close.
- 1/5
They gave us the wrong rooms and they made us wait 2 hours
- 3/5
The carpet of the room was a bit worn down, the bed was very springy, the pillows were flat. The fridge was great, kept things nice and cold. The microwave took a long time to heat up.
- 1/5
My TV did not work and we had to change rooms into a non handicap room. It was near to impossible for me to survive in. Way too expensive for poor quality. Hats off to service tech who helped us but will not stay there again. In fact I think a refund is in order.
- 3/5
I was originally assigned Room 231, a handicapped room that wreaked of URINE. The toilet paper roll was tattered and sticking up, all signs that the room was not cleaned entirely. I know I ordered my room through a third party site but most veteran travelers have higher expectations from a Sheraton in the suburbs. My reassigned room #736 was cleaner but the bedroom area has a blackout curtain only, the secondary shade is missing, yet the bracket and hooks were there The bed was made but smelled of a man’s sweat. It’s seems like the cleaning staff is cutting corners a bit.

Too bad the hotel screwed up my booking, and checked me out a day earlier than my reserved check-out date. While I was out to lunch, instead of calling me, they packed up everything I had & removed it. When I came back and asked the front desk - and showed my reservation was for an additional night - the manager eventually called to apologize, and gave me the room back, and said they wouldn't charge me for the last night... and then they wound up charging me anyway. There's also the heat/AC situation, which I see many other reviewers have noted for years. I understand it's an old building, so it's either on heat or AC, and can't easily switch back to heat for a few cold nights. They could easily address this by having an adequate supply of space heaters, but they didn't have an adequate supply. That's inexcusable.
- 4/5
There was no heat available. The room was slightly chilly. The property had one service elevator available You need to get a coupon at the front for the breakfast included. The staff was friendly. The place was conveniently located however, I was slightly disappointed with the conditions. A hair was found in my shower, room temperature but overall it was good.
- 3/5
Main issue was that only 2 elevator was working and wait was extremely long.
- 2/5
General disrepair from lack of upkeep. Breakfast is bad at best. They have 2 elevators, 1 has been broken fir 3 months so getting up and down is SLOW. This place need a complete refurbishing.
- 5/5
It was amazing, the staff was excellent and respectful, and the people at the front were really nice and gave me what I needed! I will be back once again!
- 1/5
They are not honest. The AC wasn't working and it was very hot. The next day I asked if they fixed it he said no and it's cold outside so no need for the AC.
- 4/5
Beautiful area
- 3/5
Elevator hasn’t worked in over a year. The one left running is crazy slow. Air conditioning was barley working as well.
- 5/5
Awesome bed and real pillows
- 4/5
The property was not as nice as I expected, but the room was clean. The restaurant in the hotel was decent, but that's the only choice for food in the immediate area. Staff was ok, but didn't give much info at check-in. Not about the restaurant, amenities, or even what room number I was in. Seemed mediocre at best for a Sheraton Suites.
- 4/5
Very enjoyable
- 4/5
The parking service was very good during our vacation.

Fix the elevator
- 4/5
Great staff, helped us us with some minor reservation issues. Not keen on the bed and pillows, to soft for my taste. Also, A/C vent in the shower area? Not in my book.
- 4/5
The beds and pillows were a little soft for my taste but everything else was very good.
- 3/5
No restaurants or shops near this peoperty. Very old building with outdated lift, non cooli g AC, non functional bathroom doors. Not good service.
- 5/5
Love everything how clean and quiet good location the problem is one elevator.
- 5/5
Easy access
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay, convenient, safe, clean .
- 5/5
Everything. It was great. Nice and clean.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay, the staff were pleasant, my room was clean and I will definitely book again.
- 5/5
Definitely had a fancy feel without the fancy price. Best stay i have had in a ling time!
- 3/5
I didn’t like cleaners walking into my room without knocking. Asides that everything else was good

- 5/5

- 4/5
There was only one elevator working and it was very slow!! I had to use the stairs a couple of time because it never came.
- 5/5
I like that place.
- 4/5
No
- 5/5
Nice hotel, skip the restaurant it is not good
- 5/5
I liked the quiet area, the scenery, and the close proximity to some good restaurants and the mall.
- 1/5
2 hours of waiting. Once arriving at hotel I was told that my room was not ready and at 1000-1030 PM some aircrew would be leaving and they would start cleaning rooms. This would be close to 3 hours after my arriving. AND I was the 9th on the waiting list to get a room. Most of those waiting had vouchers from an airline, but I had paid over $250. I did speak to the manager and I was able to get a room in about 90 minutes. There was zero compensation even after completing a survey for the hotel. Only reply was sorry, thank you for the feedback to help improve our checkin process, and hope that you decide to stay with us again. It's bad enough that the 6 hours of traveling had turned into over 24 hours. Being told that you have to wait for your room is the last thing anyone traveling, especially for a trip due to a family emergency and funeral.
- 1/5
Our room should be ready by 3:00 that’s 8 hours different. Me and my family didn’t know what to do, already tired coming from Sweden. The worst hotel experience, I am demanding half my money back at least
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 4/5
However, there wasn't any towers in my room when I checked in. Bathroom wasn't clean. Seemed that the cleaning crew was busy taking care of things. Tub needs some improvement. Drainage plug wasn't working well.
- 5/5
This was an excellent hotel! Will definitely stay here again for future trips to the area. Highly recommend
- 4/5
This hotel has been an annual stop for us for a conference. Always dependable.
- 5/5
The stay was very comfortable, & pleasant. I did get surprised by a couple staff just walking in the room 😳😂 I suppose they didn’t know we were there. Great stay, & accommodations.
- 1/5
Waiting to hear back from manager, this place was so badd! Ants crawling on me while sleeping! Graham crackers on the floor! And more!!
- 1/5
The rooms were not soundproof. The person who checked me in said there will be a $50 hold charge on my card. Later that night, I received a notification for a $505 hold charge. Someone checked me out one day early and I almost got charged again. This was horrible. I couldn't enjoy my time in Chicago because of the amount they put on hold. They did not tell me there was a second door connected to the person next to my room. I had to move the sofa to block that door.
- 3/5
It would be nice if bathroom faucet wasn’t broken.
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
Highly recommended!
- 3/5
I didn't like that the host at the counter had an attitude at check in, I did like that we were offered a late checkout. Our room door was open upon arrival.
- 4/5
Great location good prices but is could use a face lift some paint bathroom need updating. But overall good it's nice they have a restaurant and bar and a lot of places to sit and hang out. The staff was great the bartender and wait staff amazing.
- 5/5
It was a very quiet and safe area. The dining options within a 5 mile radius were good also.
- 5/5
Nice stay 😮💨
- 5/5
All employees' customer service was excellent—very friendly and helpful when dealing with any concerns. Perhaps an updated room would have made for a better stay.
- 5/5
Great location near airport!
- 2/5
Trapped in the elevator several times, no housekeeping came to the room after asking during a multi week visit. Needs a lot of improvements
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
One of our favorite hotels when we visit
- 5/5
Good property to stay for long term vacation
- 1/5
I want a refund there was roaches in the room. Had to switch rooms. That were less accommodating the. What I paid for.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Great place.
- 2/5
Air conditioning was out for the entire duration of my stay (3 nights) and they never offered any kind of discount. They did however, offer to bring up a small fan. Thankfully it got down to 50 degrees at night and you could crack the windows. Also they had both doors open to the pool and their (poor) workout room so besides being 80 degrees, you were also inhaling chlorine fumes your entire workout.
- 3/5
So hot. Hard to
- 5/5
Great experience from start to finish. Staff at this location from the bar staff to the check in check out were all really friendly and professional. Convenient location and I highly recommend. Room was clean and super comfy.
- 5/5
A Beautiful well manage hotel. The service and staff was excellent
- 4/5
Close to highways and airport/ stores
- 3/5
At check-in, I was given a key to a room that already had been checked into. My room was fine, although the shower drain was terribly slow.
- 4/5
Dislike: Dated, needs to be refreshed.
- 2/5
The hotel was dirty and so was our room. The restaurant had expired milk on the buffet. Our sink had a pipe leaking all over the floor and it got my shoes all wet.
- 4/5
Loved the surrounding area. It was quiet and peaceful
- 5/5
The hotel and staff were amazing! The only down side was that the AC was broken but they provided us with a fan to help keep the room cool. It never got too hot in the building anyways so was manageable!
- 4/5
The king bed was very comfortable. However, the sheets that on it were not big enough. So all night long I was struggling with keeping the sheet on the bed. We also had to request a Pedi for the pull out couch. They gave us two sheets and two pillows and no blanket.
- 4/5
My main satisfaction and what we loved most was Ernesto at the breakfast dining. H e was on it and very professional since the morning we got to breakfast and every morning. I t made my day have such excellent service that Ernesto provided for our stay. He is a hard worker makes you hotel shine. Thank you
- 4/5
Quiet,peaceful,like a sanctuary
- 5/5
Really great staff I love it
- 5/5
I enjoyed the restaurant for dinner. Having Starbucks in my room was fantastic. I also ordered an egg sandwich to go in the morning that was delicious.
